Premier League Transfer Rumours

Sunderland, Hull and Burnley have been alerted by Fenerbache's decision to transfer list Colin Kazim–Kazim Richards. A £3m deal could be on the cards.
Aston Villa and Sunderland are chasing Graham Dorrans from West Brom in a £4m deal.
Sunderland are also favourites to sign up Adam Johnson from Boro and Maynor Figueroa from Wigan after Martinez admitted he is resigned to losing the honduran left back.
Hull are also making a suprise £3m bid to snap up Ruud Van Nistelrooy from under the noses of Blackburn Rovers.

Championship:

Steve Coppell is close to taking charge of Sheffield Wednesday.
Newcastle United are set to make an offer to sign Fulhams Kagisho Dikgacoi on loan in a bid to improve the South Africans world cup oppurtunities.
Gareth Southgate will make an offer for Jason Koumas valued at around £1.5m

Giles Barnes is having a medical at CCS (Cardiff City Stadium) tomorrow and, if he passes, will sign a two year deal with the Bluebirds.

Darron Gibson will not be joining Cardiff any time soon, as Fergie wants to use him more in the Man Utd 1st team.

Brett Pitman may also be signing in the new year and his former Bournemouth strike partner Sam Vokes could be linking up again with him at Cardiff as Wolves will loan him to Cardiff until the season ends.

Simon Church is also joining Cardiff in January with Chopra, Bothroyd and McCormack leaving for Fulham, Stoke and Wigan respectively. Cardiff will pocket a tidy sum, and invest in their quality youth set–up as well as paying off debts.

Big news for Notts. County fans:

Heard that the FA has had enough of the, and I quote 'Circus', at Meadow Lane and want to know what is going on re: the club's ownership.

Peter Trembling and former owner John Armstrong–Holmes will be summoned to Lancaster Gate in January, along with members of Munto and Qadback to explain the takeover.

The FA want ABSOLUTE assurance that no rules have been broken, and if they have Notts. County will face the following:

1) Docking of ALL points gained since August 2009
2) Demotion to The Conference or Conference North
3) Legal action against Munto and Qadback
4) Releasing players from contracts and paying their release clauses by ORDER
5) Possible liquidation and the club closing down.

Notts. fans should fear the WORST come January 2010!

From a inside source at Anfield comes the news that Rafa hasn't been sacked because of the financial crisis but that could all change after the yanks are closing in on deals to sell their american franchises.

Rafa has changed his playing style too much in the last 18 months and this has led to him losing the backing of his backroom staff and some of his senior players. This is one of the main reasons for Paco Ayesteran leaving.

Expect possibly Mourinho, Rijkaard, Klinsmann or

Oneil to Liverpool get a grip you JOKERS, Keane to Villa in Jan and poss Bentley, if Liverpool do get a new manager it will be Klinsman

Re the poster below about Martin O'Neill – that was early rumour today up here in Kirby but in fact, it's wide of the mark. MoN will never leave Villa in mid season and appreciates the support he's had from Randy.

What is happening (contacts on the Echo) is that Rafa will indeed be moved aside – and has been in negotiations all day about a 'mutual consent' deal. The steps for this were in place weeks ago but were delayed by the fact that Kenny was unwilling to take the role on even through until the end of the season. Since the last couple of games though, it would appear that he has been persuaded by many people – both in the club now and legends of the Anfield past – that the very soul of the club is now at stake. One other thing to look for is a return to Anfield for Steve Nicol – part of Kenny's insistence.

This is through until the end of the season....long term, who knows...?

Rumours has it that man united have a deal to sign David villa already in place for a fee believed to be around 37mil altho fergie is still pondering whether to sign suarez/dzeko. Listen to dave chappers podcast in which the story about villa is mentioned. United looking to cash in on nani for a fee of around 10–15mil AC Milan r monitoring the situation. The money from this sale will be used to prize krasic from CSKA moscow for 20–25mil or fergie will go for a cheaper alternative in alexis sanchez. Fergie is also monitoring the progress of Nuer along with Adler 2 promising german goalkeepers altho for the moment fergie is persisting with foster coming good. Altho fergie has stated that prices r inflated he will not be held to ransom he is having second thoughts after uniteds 4th defeat this season. Fergie has been a long time admirer of David silva having had bids rejected for him 2 seasons ago fergie may have to wait as silva is out until the new year. Fergie is concerned with the ongoing fitness problems of rio and Hargreaves and is really keen on defour and kjaer with the former strongly keen to join united. Most likely INs in jan – kjaer (12mil) krasic (20mil) David silva (25mil altho fergie will loan him bck to Valencia there r still question marks on his physicality but fergie sees him as scholes replacement (David villa/dzeko one of which will bought but this depends on dzeko willingness to come to united as his dream is to play for AC Milan. And fergie wants to bring villa but at the moment is put off by the price tag since villa is 28 but remember berbatov sign for 30mil. 1 striker will be bought in jan. Major outs – (nani 12–15mil AC Milan) MANUTD POSSIBLE TEAM: GK – Neur/ DF – evra vida kjaer rafael/brown MF – fletcher silva hargo Front 3 – Rooney Valencia krasic. If 4–4–2 then team GK – neur DF – evra vida kjaer hargo MF – Valencia fletcher silva krasic Forwards – Rooney Villa/dzeko

Sad news for AFC Bournemouth fans:

The 5–0 thrashing at Morecambe is just the beginning of the problems at Dean Court.

I know former club directors as well as employees at the FA and word is that the embargo is staying in place until the end of the season.

They are also looking into Eddie Mitchell running two clubs at the same time, and investigating his transfer of ownership of Dorchester Town to his sons.

They believe that this transfer of ownership was not done correctly, and Mr. Mitchell may face a lifetime ban from the game, similar to that of Steve Vaughan at Chester City.

If Mitchell is sacked, he will call in loans made to both Bournemouth and Dorchester Town plunging both teams into administration.

The good start we made has only papered over the cracks, and now they are starting to show.

I've heard rumours that some playing and club staff haven't been paid November's wages, and that unless the club gets a cash injection soon then we are in BIG trouble.

Expect Eddie Howe and Brett Pitman to leave Dean Court in January. Heard Sheffield Wednesday want Howe as manager and will fund Pitman's move to Hillsborough as well.

Liars Mitchell, Mostyn and Murry OUT!

In regard to this post –
"PORTSMOUTH FC Avram Grant is set to have around £20 million to spen in january if results arnt coming in as an emergency package to keep the club affloat. There WILL be players leaving in january and more coming in, mostly on loan. Likly players are: David Bentley Luis Nani Roman Pavyluchenko Niko Kranjcar + Peter Crouch (Loans) Santa Cruz Milan Mandzukic Tomas Hitzlsperger And is it just me, or are portsmouth missing something theyve had the whole time???? NADIR BELHADJ!!!! i mean probably the best player pompey have and he NEVER plays, what is going on???"
are you joking? Kranjcar and Crouch definitely won't be going back to Portsmouth after establishing themselves into the Spurs team! Now for some PROPER Spurs Rumours –
Hutton to WHU – £5m
Pavlyuchenko to Roma – £8m
Sandro to Spurs – £9m
McGregor & Bougherra – £12m

Blackpool News.
Expect some ins and outs in January. Outs will be Ormerod and Burgess, the latter depends on fitness. Norwich favourites for Brett Ormerod. Burgess has choices, and could be used as a part exchange, dependant upon Holloway landing his foreign targets. He has 2 strikers lined up: one with CL experience, the other with HUGE potential, all for a paltry £700k total. If IH lands his first choice duo, Burgess could join Leeds for £150k.
Don't expect Seip to sign. He is holding out for top dollar and BFC will not pay when alternatives can be found far cheaper. Seip will sign if he joins hands and contacts the real world.
A bee will wing it's way in at the seaside too.
IH is looking at a keeper, but that is likely to be a summer move.
Belokon is not actively looking at increasing his stake, he is happy the way things are, but that doesn't mean he is less interested, it means he is reserving an increased investment, and his % for a time when more is needed, and will continue to financially support. Expect a return of an old VB man in.

Sheffield Wednesday chairman Lee Strafford is to give the clubs new manager a MASSIVE 150, 000 pound warchest to go and sign a new partner for star striker Francis Jeffers, sources in hillsbrough suggest the shortlist consists of journeyman michael bridges, Trevor Benjamin and former sheffield united hotshot Luton Shelton

West Ham will be taken over by Gold & Sullivan before Christmas and Zola will be given money(£15–20m) to spend on the players that will help them survive. Zola and Nanis biggest priorities will be to sign a right back, a centre back, a striker and to keep hold of Parker, Cole, Green, Upson, Etc. The players that Zola has targeted are:
RB: A.Hutton(£4m)/L.Young(£3m)
CB:A.Ferdinand(£3.5m)/Micah Richards(p/e for Upson)
ST:Adriano(free), Toni(?), Beattie(£2m), Davies(£4m)
OTHER TARGETS:K.Kallstrom, G.Barnes, K.Nolan, N.Shorey

Leon Britton will move from Swansea to Reading in the transfer window.

Britton is unhappy at Swansea, following a breakdown in talks over a new contract, and misses his wife and child who are in London.

It is thought that this move will benefit all parties, and Swansea will sign a young midfielder from the Netherlands as replacement.

For the sake of this site and to prevent legal action, I will not name the player, but a very high profile player who is supposedly missing due injury has failed an internal drug test and may never play for Manchester United again. RAINFISHTROMBONE

Kevin Keegan to have talks with Sheffield Wednesday on Thursday. He has been approached by Lee Strafford and he is keen on making his name again at such a massive club.

I know some will sigh and think 'here we go again..' but this could be crucial so read on...

Neither Rafa or Sammy Lee was at training today – all security staff questioned were very tight lipped and fans were ushered away as the players left rather than allow for the usual autograph brigade.

I have heard from sources that a major announcement is imminent – either this evening or tomorrow morning.

I won't say anymore or offer any speculation about succession planning because all in truth I just don't know – I just state the 'facts' as outlined in that second paragraph.

Hearts F.C

Someone has offered to buy out Romanov. he's not selling, as the offer is way less than he paid for the club.

To the guy who said that liverpool putting package together for O'neil, and saying your owners are impressed with what hes done with limeted budgetJOKER!anyone with football and financial knowledge would realise that Randy Lerner is a very wealthy man who not only outbid hicks and gillett to buy Villa but also owns some of hicks debt...MON would not walk out on Villa due to the relationship with Lerner, and the fact he really believes he can achieve at Villa....and by te the way he has spent nearly 140million at Villa....onto some rumours, VILLA, looking at 1 centre forward to come in with coker and shorey out.WOLVES..wil sign McCann from bolton.BLUES..will try for keane and anyone who will listen....

With the "golden years" of the Big four now appearing to be over, whether this be a lack of funds or other team's improvements, it looks like a few squads will be looking to overhaul in a few areas.

Arsenal: Expect at least two ins, Matudi looks unlikely (African Nations) and with the influx of more money perhaps expect De Rossi to be pushed for. Another defender will also be added in the shape of Sahko. Both of thses transfer costing between 35–40 million (together) expect Arsene to use a loan signing to bulk up his strike force. No names to mention as of yet.

Chelsea: One or two final buys before they are outrightly banned from signings. Ribery looks unlikely but Aguero is deinately hotly tipped to sign. A journalist friend of mine told me a draft offer has been proposed by Chelsea, deadline day 01/01/10, could be a Chelsea player by the middle of Jan. Also expect a versatile defensive mid, Gatusso could sign if AC Milan has someone lined up for a replacement. If not Ballack will play in the whole during the African nations.

Aston Villa: After a good display at United, Aston to be given £20 mil to boost their squad for top four finish! Expect a good defender to come in, with perhaps a central midfielder. Ramires is likely, however same journalist friend as told me about Aguero says a possible swap + catch deal by Liverpool (do not know the player they want)which would include Lucas!!

Man City: Expect Man City to overspend on a player called Srna. Also expect Maxi Rodriguez to sign, he has a minimum buy clause of just over £20 mil, and he is stalling on a new contract.

Newcastle United: Expect Marlon HArewood's loan to be extended until the end of the season and a bolstering of the defence. News on Laurent Robert has gone quiet, which is a shame, but Kilgallon and another defensive type player look odds on to sign.

Birmingham: Expect Birmingham to strengthen their squad with two good quality players, looks like Pav could be tempted from Spurs and I wouldn't be surprised to see Sol Cambell sign. Perhaps Adriano aswell.

Spurs: A last ditch bid for Viera will happen, hard times for him at Inter could make this happen even though he said he could never play for Arsenal's rivals. Wouldn't be surprised to see them go for Cana and/or Haagaland, with little chance of success.

Mikey Stewart and Darren Barr swopping captain armbands from January with Barr heading to Tynecastle and Stewart to the Bairns

I have a credible link with someone who works within Liverpool's commercial department and have been told to expect a lot of things to happen between now and the end of the season. The talk is there will be a new manager, new backroom staff, a director of football and, eventually, a changeof ownership. When George Gillett and Tom Hicks refinanced their loan structure within the club they managed to set aside £15million for transfers in January but they will pull the plug on this. They will put in £2.5million each of their own money and make a package to buy Rafa Benitez out of his contract. They will agree a compensation package with Aston Villa for Martin O'Neill as the owners are impressed with what he has done with Villa on limited resources and this would suit the owners. John Robertson will join O'Neill as assistant with Sammy Lee moving to First Team Coach. The only signing he will be allowed to make in January is James Milner for around £12million. Prince Faisal is still interested in buying Liverpool especially having seen the clubs debts being reduced over the past few months. He will buy George Gilletts stake andwill work with Hicks until the Summer. Hicks will sell 25% of his stake to Faisal with the Al Kafari family wanting the other 25%. Both the Faisal and Al Kafari family have been in contact over the past few months and have agreed a price package for the construction of the new stadium ready to open in 2013

Scotty Arfield of FFC linked with a January move to West Brom for £700, 000. De Matteo sees him as the perfect replacement for another young Scot, namely Villa bound Graham Dorrans.

Chris Hughton is set to unveil Kevin Kyle (3m) and Marlon Harewood (4m for permanant deal) as his strike force to take Newcastle back into the premiership.

Just heard a rumour that West Ham are willing to sell striker Carlton Cole to Arsenal or Liverpool for a fee of between £10m–£15m, with which they will attempt to sign James Beattie from Stoke for £2m and Kevin Davies from Bolton for £500, 000. They are also looking at Tottenham Hotspur's Scottish right–back Alan Hutton.

Heard that Morten Gamst Pederson, Concalves at Hearts and Stokes of Hibs linked with Celtic.
It's the players leaving that am not sure about.
Can anyone confirm that MacDonald and McCourt are to be shown the door – and why??
Also it appears the team is more balanced and settled without the enigmatic Scott Brown.
We obviously need better quality at the back and a return for O'Dea from Reading is obvious with a possible deal with wee Strachan involving McManus or Caldwell for Pogatetz or Wheater.
Jinkyfan.

My mate lives near to Sam Eckhardt in the Sheffield Wednesday youth team. Laws is apparently set to seek legal advice over his sacking. Lee Strafford has told him the pot is empty so is trying to arrange the sale of a particular player through the players agent.

Burnley are going to buy Gary Hooper from Scunthorpe United im the january transfer market for around £700k.

Burnley will also make enquiries about Graham Dorrans from West Brom.

I am close friends with Blackpool's physio Phil Horner, he is due to be leaving Bloomfield Road with a new replacement set to be coming in ASAP.
Once the replacement has been found he is set up to link up with his old pal Simon Grayson former Manager of Blackpool FC and now at Leeds Utd due to diagreements with the new management over training routines

Hearts will be placed into administration within the next week. Romanov has decided to cut his losses as he is unable to break the old firm in Scotland. No buyers as of yet however this will put hearts bottom of the league after the 10 points penalty grim times for the jam tarts!

Celtic will buy Kyle from Kilmarnock in January 300k

Alexander to leave rangers with boro interested 500k

Spurs has put in a £5million bid + gareth bale + tom huddlestone for madjid bougherra and alan mcgregor ..

I heard nothing, just something about Reina wanting to return back to the Spanish Primera. It will be these current teams who might get their hands on current Liverpool #1 goalkeeper, Real Madrid instead of Dudek or Getafe instead of their no.1 gk. Real Madrid have Varga from Fiorentina in their minds for the ammount of 20million euros. VIVA MADRID

Some hot gossip doing the rounds fist thing Monday morning up here in the North West is the impending departure of Rafa Benitez, to be replaced by one time England Manager ....Sven Goran Erikson !!!!!!!

Arsenal will not make any major signings in january as alot of players will be back from injury, maybe 1 or 2 youngsters. likes of raheem sterling, adam matthews and zezinho have all been linked

Blackpool physio Phil Horner to leave this week and join up with ex Pool manager Simon Grayson at Leeds.

Hi,

I own a chip shop in Derby that is frequented by Burton Albion left back Aaron Webstaer who told me last night that Sheffield Wednesday had enquired about Paul Peschisolido as manager but he had declined due to his previous links with Sheffield United and the fact that he felt he had a better job at Burton Albion.

My Dad is a friend of someone high up at Hillsborough and has it straight from the horses mouth that Sheffield Wednesday have to sell Marcus Tudgay in January in order to pay the compensation to Brian Laws. The remaining funds will then go towards the wages of his replacement, then whatevers left can be used to replace Tudgay. The bad times continue.

Sol Campbell to Everton till the end of the season, with option of extra year.

Giles Barnes will sign for Celtic this week on a free.

Celtic will sell Scott McDonald in the window for 3M to West Ham.

I read a rumour on a forum that Hamilton are going to sign a bosnian sriker called Dusko Stajic.

Strange news from the Pub in Lytham Lancashire. PNE have had a SPL and a Championship team enquire about the availability of Ross Wallace in the Jan Transfer window. Nothings being said but privatley Wallace is very interested in the SPL team. Irvine doesn't want him to go but has an open policy for all players and Ross is thinking it over this weekend if he should talk further. Also Bolton players about to revolt over Megson and demand that he goes by Jan. McClaren has been approached but it doesn't look positive.

Arsenal to go for VDV, but weather they get him or not is a different story. Defo a move for Chamakh with VP out for the long term, also in the pipe line are Matudi and Richards, but Richards could be hard to get but AW really likes the look of him.

Bentley

Lets get a few things straight about Rafas contract. One of the conditions was that he must deliver Champions League football every season for other conditions to be met EG transfer funds, control over transfers and yourh development etc. What this means is that if Rafa fails to get Liverpool into the CL, he can be sacked and it won't cost this £20 million which keeps getting chucked around. If he succeeds in finishing at least 4th, he either stays or he gets sacked. AT ANY POINT, IF HE IS SACKED, Liverpool will pay out the remainder of his contract....UNTIL HE GETS ANOTHER JOB. So if he gets sacked and walks into another job, it won't cost a thing. As for likelihood of him being sacked....he needs to beat Wigan and Pompey to give himself a stay of execution. He won't be Liverpool manager next season, nothing is more certain. He's lost the players.
