Use our rumours form to send us football transfer rumours.

Lets settle a few things people. This is a site for rumours we have not read in a newspaper. Do not just look up the BBC gossip column and claim you're an insider. Also, those fans arguing over how big their club is a pointless exercise.

What I have heard is that Arsenal are not at all interested in Gareth Barry and the suggestion that they are was planted by Barry's agent in a bid to hurry Liverpool into stumping up the cash. They will, and Barry will sign for Liverpool. Juve appear to be looking at other options than Alonso so expect him to join a Spanish team instead

Alex Hleb will be joining FC Barcelona. Adebayor has been offered 60 k a week.

I have also heard that Man United lodged a bid for Berbatov around a month ago, but it has only just become public. Ramos does not want Saha as part of the deal and favours a straight cash offer. The snag is that United want to pay over two years (First payment next Summer, second the Summer after). If Berbatov leaves, Keane does not. It is as simple as that. Diego Milito is the replacement that Ramos has been eyeing for quite some time.

Chelsea are in for Samuel Eto'o and are likely to sign him as they are the only club willing to meet his extortionate wage demands.

As someone has already picked up on, a snag to hit Ronaldo's move is the fact that the CR7 Nike brand will effectively become obsolete. Ronaldo has never really got to like England and certainly wants to leave now, but whether he leaves or not is dependent upon United and Nike. To the Liverpool fan who thinks that this will all work out because Raul will be joining Liverpool – nice idea but I guarantee you there is no chance of that happening.
Damien Duff and Jermaine Pennant will swap clubs this Summer.
Rafa is not done yet with his transfers.
Scott Carson will join West Bromwich for £5 million with £2 million added on depending on appearances.
Andriy Voronin will join Hamburg in exchange for Rafael Van der Vaart who joins for £11 million.
Steve Finnan will join Aston Villa in exchange for Gareth Barry who joins for £16 million.
Sebastian Leto and Nikolay Mihaylov cannot complete their paperwork and will join Boca Juniors and Feyenoord respectively.
Xabi Alonso will join Real Madrid for £15 million and Jermaine Pennant will complete a £5 million move to Blackburn who will lose David Bentley to Tottenham.
Youngsters Andras Simon and Miquel Roque will be released.
Stewart Downing will join for £10 million with £3 million added on later in the future.
Just heard off my Uncle (groundman at parkhead) that Darren Bent has been at Celtic park. signing a one year loan deal this week
To the people who are constantly linking Rangers with cesar arzo he has already signed for the team he was on loan at last year with a buy back Clause for villareal.
First and foremost, Tomas Rosicky is not for sell. Next season, he will be injury free. Adebayor, Helb and most likely Gilberto and Gallas could leave. In is going to be a defender, Huntelaar or santa cruz. Our midfiled is good enough to win us championship. Barry is going to Liverpool. All player related to Arsenal is totally rubbish.
This week Sunderland will confrim the signing of Dorin Goian. Sunderland have tabled a £20 million offer in to Tottenham for four of there players. they are believed to be Malbranque, O'Hara, Bent and Dawson. it is believed that Sunderland have placed a take it or leave it deal to Everton for Andy Johnson worth £11 million. Also Keane will place a £6 million in for the Hammers' George Mccartney. John Meyler and David Mooney from Cork City will also be purchased but they will probablies not be invovlved in first team activities until they progress.
Joe_Mackem_SAfc_FTM
Expect Newcastle to make a bid for pranjic this coming week the figure of around £6 million is being discussed.
Robert Green will not be leaving to Arsenal from the Hammers and Dean Ashton will noy be leaving either as he has just signed a new deal at Upton Park.

possible ins;

Andy johnson, – Everton
gudjohnsson, – FC Barcelona
Nicky shorey – Reading

possible outs;

Zamora, – Fulham
pantsil– Fulham
Firstly, to someone who said he is unsure as to Barry's stance over Liverpool or Arsenal, his preference would be Liverpool, on the basis that Stevie G is his best mate. no contenst, that would also help cement his England place, good news for England as well with them playing together week in week out.

Also, Plymouth Argyle news.
My cousin, (only a 16 year old youth teamer) has said that there are rumours of Daniel Sturridge (Manchester City) and Danny Wellbeck (Man United, both forwards, on loan, as well as an offer being made for Matty Holland and Stephen Clemence

Neilio
The players Sunderland have offers in for are: –
Naylor (Celtic)
Bent (Tottenham)
Malbranque (Tottenham)
Dawson (Tottenham)
Johnson (Everton)
Goian (Steau)
Saha (Man U)
Sorry Arsenal, but you're being used by Aston Villa n regards to Gareth Barry. I am afraid it's just a ploy from Villa to try and get Liverpool to pay the £18 million up front. It will not work, unfortunately. A deal should be agreed this week. This will allow Rafa to work on other deals.

He wants a forward, who we all know to be Robbie Keane, and a winger who could be Riera, David Silva, Schweinsteiger, going back in for David Bentley or even a cheeky bid for Shawn Wright–Phillips. HOWEVER, unless he can sell Xabi Alonso for the £15 mill'ish that he wants, then he will only be able to afford one. In which case it'd be Keane. Unless he could convince Tottenham into a player swap deal involving Xabi Alonso, which is not beyond the realms of possibility since Ramos tried to sign him from Liverpool while at Sevilla.
Podolski 2 LFC for 15–17 million, will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
To the fans of the dark side do not hold your breath about signing Davis you all know your club will not stump up £4 million. anyway expect Celtic (the best supported team in britain, real fans not glory hunters) to try make a move for massimo Oddo from Milan aswell as razman rat from shaktar. and Hearts will sign niculae from Inverness before self destructing at some point this season haha
Rangers are to table a bid of around £2 million for AZ Alkmaar's stijn Schaars
West Bromwich Albion could complete the signings of Scott Carson from Liverpool in a dropped price of £4 million and Marek Cech from Porto as he has found first team opportunities hard to come by this season. James Collins is also tipped to come in on loan from the Hammers with a view to a permanent deal. Due to Tony Mowbray extending the loan of Michael Danek from Viktoria Plzen, Dean Kiely could be on the way out.
Rudi Skacel could be returing to Tynecastle in a £1 million deal. HMFC have spoken to Southampton yesterday in see if they would sell.
Here are some transfers that are actually likely top happen over the next six weeks.

Arsenal: Arshavin, Frey, Mario Gomes, De Rossi
Villa: Robinson/Friedel, Chimbonda, Hoyte, A Ferdinand, Bently/Milner/SWP, D Bent/Guiza
Chelsea: Quaresma, Robinho, Adriano, Ronaldinho, Jao Moutinho
Everton: Gudjohnson, M Johnson, D Bent
Liverpool: Joaquin, Barry, Villa/Keane, Niemi
Man United: Berbatov, Quaresma, Huntelaar, Sergio Ramos, Diego

With Crouch now back at Portsmouth, Harry will be looking to make a bid of £10 million for Chelsea winger Shaun Wright–Phillips. Ian Wright has also told Shaun Wright–Phillips that a move to Portsmouth will get his career back on track and Harry will get him playing like he did back in his Manchester City days, and help him revive a stuttering England career.

Younes Kaboul looks set to sign in the next couple of weeks, his former Marseille team mate and former Pompey forward Benjani had a lot of good things to say about the club and Mr Redknapp. It is also believed he wants to work with Tony Adams to improve.

D'Alessandro has told Pablo Aimar that should Pompey come in with a bid for him, Aimar should make the move, although I have doubts whether we could afford both Shaun Wright–Phillips and Aimar.

Harry is also looking to sign a left back with Nicky Shorey the likely target. If not, Wayne Bridge is on the short list.

Shaun Davis could be on his way out after being pushed down the pecking order by the likes of Diarra, Muntari, Mendes with Hull and Middlesbrough intersted in his services.

Nugent unlikely to leave with Harry also stating he wants to keep him at the club, telling Nugget what isexpected of him after a season to forget at Fratton Park.

Diarra and Muntari have commited themselves to Pompey and will not be moving this season. Should Arsenal bid for Kranjcar, I believe he will make the move so Harry better start looking at left midfielders for his replacement. just in case.

Else where, Chelsea are looking for Lampards replacement with Joao Moutinho the main target. Arsenal may bid for Barry as Liverpool and Villa cannot come to a compromise over the fee. Huntelaar is also on Arsenal's radar as Adebayor looks to be on his way to Milan.
Blackburn are looking to sign either Cisse or Darren Bent with Santa Cruz likely to leave for either Tottenham or Arsenal. Ben Haim will be leaving Chelsea for Manchester City. Joaquin looks set to leave Valencia with Blackburn looking to replace Bentley who looks to be heading to Tottenham.
Apart from Samaras and McCourt, Celtic will sign only one players this Summer, a left back. Do not be dissapointed because we have far more quality in our squad than Rangers ever will anyway.
  SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY ins:

songo'o– season long loan
new exiting right back– –simpson from man u

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY outs:

lunt– wrexam
gilbert– following bullen and burton o'brian
wood– wanted by Everton and Newcastle– 2–3 million.
  . ARSENAL FC.

as we all no now that ramsey and Nasri have signed.
all we need are three more players. a cb/cm/st. is this case the centre back could be Alex silva. there have been reports that Milan have already had a deal in place. but Wenger has reportedly met the players agent and struck a deal for £9 million euros. he's 22 and has bundles of ability. the cm option has been under severe rumour recently. and if you believe the papers then barry is coming in. personally I do not think that will happen if it does then great: ) he is a good player and he's English. I think either bishoff or veloso will come in. maybe both as bishoff is younger and supposdly Wenger will buy him on the free wen he decides to sort himself out.
now. the forward will either be arshavin/hunterlaar/eto'o. arshavin for £21 million. I do not think he's worth that £15 million at the most. but Arsenal fans should be most excited buy hunterlaar and eto'o. it's been reported that FC Barcelona will bid £10 million + eto'o and that would be sick if Arsene pulls that off. what a great signing he is in a class of his own. but then again hunterlaar is different gravy lol he goal scoring record is fantastic and any one of these 2 should be good. Arsenal to win something next year. my bet is either the F. a cup or league. not C. l yet they have n0ot got the right balence yet. if I was Arsene I would go for Essien to partner cesc. lol
happy Reading.
in Arsene we trust.
Apparently at the weekend Gattuso was at parkhead, pretty he was, not sure if he was going to sign or what il leave it for you to decide.
Rafael Benitez has put in an offer of £16 million pounds for a player from Spain. All I know is that the play speaks little English and was a star in Euro 2008. This is information from Right Guard security.
First of all, I have to say I adore the way various posters on this site have managers laying more "smokescreens" than the German artillery at Kursk. Fact is, managers and their Chief Executives tend to work on several contingencies in the transfer window. They have their A–lists (tricky to pull off unless you are one of the megaclubs) and so on.
Now, to all you who predict Scott Brown will sign for Rangers – Are you for real? Do you think Celtic will sell a player to their rivals? He will only join Permarage FC if he leaves Celtic for an EPL side who decide to get shot of him at a future date. Celtic have no need to sell the player, as the board are not seeking a "warchest" to fund an assault on Europe, the club's target is the title every year, and this does not include signing players such as Owen, Huntelaar, Pavlyuchenko or indeed Boaby Carlos. They do not mind season ticket sales dwindling in the next few years, as the 2014 Commonwealth Games will see a rise in sports tourism to Glasgow once the facilities just outside Celtic Park are open, and more empty seats means these can be sold to such visitors, who will generate more revenue than indigenous Glaswegians, after all, they are more likely to visit (and spend their cash in) the Club shop than the London Road tavern.
Basically, all I am asking for is some realism in Scottish rumour posts – yes, the new Scottish Premier League deal is an improvement, but it is hardly going to catapult our sides to the big time.

Ronldinho and eto'o who both attended a pre–season friendly for Liverpool will sign within the next few weeks for £35 million
The top English team that is preparing a bid for Aguero is Liverpool. They are preparing a cash + Alonso and maybe Voronin deal. He will be perfect linking up with Torres in the hole.
My son scouts for Barnsley and claims the following players are about to sign to replace un–named outgoing players. Jason White will sign from Mansfield, Everson from Neuchâtel Xamax, Miquel Palanca Fernandez from Real Madrid B, Dan Gosling from Everton and Jack Collison from the Hammers
It has come to my attention that Liverpool could launch an astonishing raid on Atletico Madrid's young Argentinian superstar, Sergio 'Kun' Aguero. It will take a while for the paperwork to get sorted but mark my words, this will happen. The projected fee, is close to £35 million but Atletico are more than happy for Alonso to be used in the deal. mark my words folks this deal is going to happen.

  OLD FIRM

Firsty Celtic will not be selling any keys players this season, expect McGeady and King Artur to remain for at least one more season.
Tommy G can go for free to anyone willing to match his wages, same goes foe Balde.
Riorden will join a championship side ( he will be a star there)
Sammy will sign this week for approx £2 million
2 other signings should be confirmed before Friday, one German defender and one French midfielder, have not had names confirmed but total cost is approx £4 million.
An offer to take Owen on loan from Newcastle will not happen due to his wages and the fact they wanted first bite at McGeady, as I have already stated he is going nowhere.

No real surprise that rankers are trying to sign SHITu.
As for Gatuso coming back, rankers cannot afford him jusgt now, wait another few seasons when he is ready toi retire and sign him then.
Alexander Gaydamak has been involved in a blazing row with a Portsmouth local government official.

Evidently, some what the worse for wear from drinking too much vodka, Gaydamak is rumoured to have ended up squaring up to the official during what had been a relaxing business soiree in a restaurant in Port Solent.

If the rumours are to be believed, Gaydamak had met the official earlier the same day in relation to the club's plans to relocate from it's Fratton Park stadium. The official, who had openly declared himself to not be a fan of the club, had raised a number of tricky issues with the club owner. At the time Gaydamak had been clearly frustrated, but had managed to keep his cool.

However, by chance, this evening the official opted (entirely by chance) to dine in the same restaurant and Gaydamak, fuelled by heavy drinking, had misinterpreted the officials laughter at a friend's joke. He had aggresively approached the official, only to be pulled back by colleagues.

I understand that the official is considering whether or not to make an official complaint about Gaydamak's behaviour.
Frank Lampard will join Inter in a GBP10 million + Adriano deal.

Shevchenko is coming back to AC.

Arshavin has publicly stated that he would like to join Arsenal, the problem is that Arsenal cannot pay him at the moment, but Zenit will let him go as this is their last chance to actually earn something on him.

Berbatov will join Man United for GBP20 million, Sir Alex has given up signing KJH, as he's already got Manucho who is very similar to the Dutch in his style.

Podolski is going nowhere, stop hoping Gunners.

Barry will eventually join Liverpool, for GBP15 million + Finnan.

Vladimir Stojkovic is on the brink of signing for Everton.

Ronaldinho is definitely coming to AC, deal will be concluded in the next few days.
  Old firm update.

O.k I was the one with the inside info on Barry Fergusons injury. His career is on a tightrope at this moment in time the next two months will dictate whether he participates this year or whether it's all over for the footballing legend. The latest press release is some what of a smokescreen, he really could retire.
Anyway Rangers would dearly love to replace him with Guttusso (no surprise there) but actually will purchase Stephen Pearson as Walter knows what all real Scottish fans know that on his day he is one hell of a player. Big things predicted for him from the inside. The Shittu deal is all over by the way and will stick with what they have until January at least.
Over at Celtic, much more activity. Samaras will sign for £1.8 million much lower than stated as Sammy is desperate to join, nothing much came of his Euro showing, or lack of so the ball is firmly in Peter Lawell's court. Naylor to Sunderland is a done deal, but the replacement may not be bought right away, Wilson may deputise with a journeyman (maybe Naysmith) being bought as cover. Not certain who the long term target is but I am told he is S. American, under the age of 23 and an international regular.
Gravesen is being stubborn, no more really needed to be said, Celtic would give him to Rangers right now for nothing if they could. Petrov would return but the great deal that Martin gave them is proving to be a hinderance now – Villa want £4 million cash, with all sorts of ridiculous add–ons. O'Neil knows as much as anyone how many trophies and leagues Celtic are likely to win so this deal looks shaky, but Strachan is mad keen.
Lastly Humberto Suazo still on the radar, nothing changed there, he will join Celtic next season the only question is will it be at the expense of big JVoH or a massive offer (10 million + ) for Skippy if he reaches the heights of last season.

Linoleum (the Torch) that gosh darn Abacus.
  The following Sunderland transfers should go through in the next couple of days;

Carlos Cuellar – Rangers
Aiden McGeady – Celtic
Steed Malbranque – Tottenham
Joris Mathijsen – Hamburger SV
Liverpool will tie up deals for Robbie Keane and Gareth Barry in the next 10 days with both players scheduled for an unveiling at Melwood next week. Benitez will then target either James Milner or Joaquin Sanchez while he remains interested in David Silva and David Bentley although he is limited in transfer funds.
= v1=
Ferguson is ready to cash in on Ronaldo. The deal will not include any Real Madrid player although Ferguson is keen about Sergio Ramos. The deal is likely to be a straight £60 million cash deal rising to £70 million on appearances and silverware. Dimitar Berbatov will come in for around £26 million while Ferguson will sign either Bastian Schweinsteiger or Frank Ribery to fill the Ronaldo void. Ferguson is keen to speak to David Moyes about being his understudy at Old Trafford although Moyes would only be interested in the offer on the understanding he would be considered as first choice replacement for Ferguson after two more seasons. If Ferguson fails to lure in Moyes, he will target Gordon Strachan or surprisingly Steve Tilson from Southend United.
= v1=
I have heard a lot of rumours about Mauro Zarate joining an English club but he just sign for Lazio and I'll also disapoint the City funs cause Ronaldinho is on his way to AC Milan, sorry you're not a big enough club to sign such players. And last I'll disapoint the Newcastle funs cause Aimar is on his way to Benfica FC. That is for now the GREEK LFC fun.
Re: to the illiterate Celtic fan who says Shittu will be a good signing for Celtic as big Jan will have him in his. blah, blah, blah.Van Nistelrooy, Roberto Carlos to Celtic. think you and your FRIEND (correct spelling) should stay off the drugs mate. Now to some realistic rumours– Shittu deal not done yet price still to be agreed, Davis still top midfield target and expect more of walters old Scotland regulars to be sounded out i.e Naysmith, mceveley, maloney. there will also be a big money move around £5 million has been left aside for the flair player Rangers so badly need, no names to tell you. and for Celtic samaras almost done deal, lewandowski or tamas. also either maloney or Mcfadden. from ex Scottish Premier League club reserve with good mates still involved with either side of old firm.
Just heared Jon Stead will not be sold to Barnsley, because he's signing for Huddersfield Town next week. Taking shirt no. 10.
I have not found any links. so did anybody see Ronaldinho and Eto'o at the Tranmere game?
Blackburn will sign Birmingham duo James McFadden and Seb Larsson for a total of around 10–15 mil. This will mean Santa Cruz could be sold to Arsenal or Man United and Seb Larsson will fill the gap left by Robbie Savage alongiside David Dunn in centeral midfield. These two alongside the free transfer of Cardiffs Robbie Fowler will be the first signings of Paul Ince at Blackburn.

Thanks for Reading,
ArsenalNo. 1
  Liverpool Rumours

Shockingly Liverpool will move for Newcastle's Micheal Owen. Owen is in his last year of contract and Newcastle are hoping to decrease his salary by about 30,000 pounds which Owen will not accept. Therefore Newcastle will put up Owen on sale and he will come for the price of around 5–6 million pounds. Instead of Keane Rafa will swoop for Owen which will free up some funds when trying to sign Barry and Silva. However as Alonso is not leaving Liverpool, they might instead look at a long–term replacement which will be in the form of either Micheal Johnson, Lee Cattermole, Ruben De la Red or Javi Martinez depending on their price. However Liverpool could sign Silva for £18 million pounds.

YNWA
Celtic to sign bosnian centre half from le mans. naylor to the Premier League as his family are back down south and we are in the market for a new left back. samaras to join for £2 million this week.

ps to all the 51 and counting Rangers fans. your abacus is stuck as it's been 51 an counting for three years giruy's: –)
These deals are 100 percent guarenteed, I am not related to Arsene Wenger or Paul Ince like some people claim to be on this thing but I do have very reliable sources in and around Goodison park.

Everton are going to have a major week next week.

They will recieve the final decision on their proposed move to Kirkby.

David Moyes the manager will extend his contract by five years plus.

David Moyes was not going to originally sign as he was under the impression that the chairman of Everton had completed the deal for Andrei Arhavin in mid–February.

However the chairman has persuaded him to stay by promising to bring in his top 5 targets respectivly.

Those being:

Diego Milito– 7–11 million from Zaragoza

Pablo Aimar will also join from Zaragoza for £5 million deal has already been struck with the player and agent it's now down to the fee.

Michael Owen– £6 million. boyhood blue wanting to return

Everton will also sign the highly rated 20 year old argentine Angel Di Maria from Benfica for £3 million. dubbed the new mascharno

Also a young keeper who happens to be trialling as we speak: )

However Everton will loose

Andrew Johnson: 11 mill–Fulham or the Hammers

Tony Hibbert: 4 mill– hull

Everton are also considering the £9 million bid that Arsenal have made for Joseph Yobo.

thanks.
Recently two rumours were on this site: Gudjohsen to Fulham and also Carlos Cuellar. Any Advances on what is happening with these deals? Surely we can do better than spending £15 million on Andy Johnson and Bobboy Zamora. Guiza is available for 10 million, same price as AJ. Not much contest there. O'Hara would be a great bit of business, although I think it is pretty unlikely to happen. Work some magic Roy. Come on the whites.
MIDDLESBROUGH, I have it on good authority (Evening Gazette) local sports editor. Garreth Southgate is planning a swoop for Gilberto from Arsenal and Shaun Wright–Phillips from Chelsea. A moove for Scott Carson is already at an advanced stage.

Liverpool; Rafa had £20 million at the start of the Summer and added/will add £24 million leaving Rafa with a total of 44 million this was/will be spent on cavalieri, Dossena, Bentley, Keane and a youn south American youngster? (do not know names)
Juve will sign Poulsen signalling their tiredness at Liverpool's reluctance to move in anyway to do a deal.

Arsenal; Wenger has been given £25 million and will add to this with the departures of Adebayor, Hleb, Senderos and Eboue leaving him with 80 million.
He will buy, a young central defender (cannot say who though, will cost £8 million), Barry17 million + Hoyte (Wenger was only biding his time in watching Benitez but now Benitez has upset o'Neil now he will only deal with Wenger) Silva (17) will be brought to play down the right and Rosicky, Nasri and Vela will rotate the lwm and cam positions and Huntellar will be brought for £17 million bringing Arsenal's spending to a total of 76. £25 million (including Nasri and Ramsey) and he's still operating on a profit yes it is not Wenger like but he will spend this much because he wants to win the pl and Champions League in the next two years.
Ive just heard Stoke City are about to sign James Beattie for £3 million pounds, apperantly he has a Clause in his contract saying if a Premier League club comes in for him hell cost 3–6 million depending on appearences etc
Berbatov will arrive at Manchester on tueesday and complete the switch Thursday so he can fly 2 africa with the squad, for around £25 million aswell as a pick of players including Silvestre Saha and park
arsena Wenger will sign arshavin a forward believed 2 be santa cruz or podolski a midfielder which could see barry making a dramatic move and a centre half talks of samba and/or Jagielka going to north London
Tottenham will sign a Berbatov replacement and another midfielder believed 2 be veloso and Luis Garcia. but a lack of funds could see a suprise move for tel Ben Haim
finally I believe Chelsea will sign about five players including Robinho Ronaldinho rafel sobis agbonlahor and a suprise move for Henry.Drogba Shevchenko Anelka Lampard bridge Ben Haim pizzaro belleti all out
  Hi there guys.

I have a range of sources around Scottish and European football and here is what I have heard so far from them;

Rangers are in the process of making a double swoop for Stillian Petrov and David Marshall. Now I know this will be scoffed at as they both used to ply their trade at Parkhead but it comes from a very reliable source.

Al MacGregor will leave Rangers in a deal worth roughly £6 million pounds and will be going to Arsenal where he will sign a five year contract. (David Marshall will of course be his replacement)

Artur Boruc has agreed terms with Roma with the transfer fee being the main stumbling block. At the moment it looks like the deal will go through for £7 million + two players (one of whom I am told is top drawer while the other is one for the future. I have not been given the players names on that one)

Csaba Laszlo will make his first signing at Hearts, Rangers crack Kirk Broadfoot. The clubs have agreed a six figure deal for the powerhouse defender who is still discussing terms.

Jimmy Calderwood is in talks with Martin Bain over the tansfer of Alan Gow to Pitoddrie. Jimmy is looking to have more creativity in his squad for next season.

Finally Steven Frail will join Gordon Strachan at Celtic with Gary Pendrey joining the back room staff at Man United (as a replacement for Carlos Quieroz).
