@ WATP I was saying to yer hibs man that HIbs don;t have to sell as they just pocketed 1m from stevie fletcher going to wolves, but if they sell, it'd be Bamba or Stokes, and (i'm being very low in estimate here) the minimum they will get is 1.5 for selling 1 of them add that to the 1m fletcher money and yogi has a 2.5 transfer kitty to play with.

To Toon92 and other NUFC fans, i have it on good authority that Vagner Love has been on tyneside(a friend of mine has just been released by Newcastle) agreed he is a class forword only downside lads is the reason hes been on loan to both Palmerias and Flamengo and CSKA want rid is hes an alcoholic so coming to the Bigg Market and the Quayside may not be an ideal setting for the bloke

Wot is ur source and how accurate is this info??
My source is involved with the Rangers side of the deal involving financial structure of any completed transfer.
Rangers have approached Hamilton and Dundee Utd directly to get indicitive cost of compensation and permission to approach the players' representitives, that is as far as it goes at the moment.
The players from AZ were recommended to Rangers by agent in Scotland (who in turn is working with Dutch agent).Again nothing has been agreed with AZ or the players representitives, and any transfer would be dependant on Rangers circumstances.
Having said all that, Rangers are keen to do business and negotiations are ongoing.

I heard rumour which sounds plausable, pending your train of thought, should Roy Hodgson take over at Liverpool, that he could possibly raid his old club for Damian Duff, can play left back and left side midfield and Clint Dempsey, Both quality players.

Arsenal realistic rumours and information.
GK Schwarzer Szczesny is amazing Wenger WILL make him no. 1 in approx 2 years. However, knowing Wenger it is very likely Almunia will be number 1 next season.
Def Targets: Kocienski Vertonghen Hangeland Sakho
Mid Ozil and Hazard (Fabregas is NOT leaving. He is not for sale and Barca are in huge debt so cannot afford silly money.)
Wenger will promote Lansbury and Eastmond as back up holding midfielders even though someone like Toure, Flamini or Palacios should be brought in.

My friend tells me that Arsene Wenger may revisit a bid for Jeremy Menez but could face competition from Manchester City and Chelsea who are showing interest but not enough to acquire his services. Manchester United have been told that they will have to pay strictly CASH ONLY in their second player plus cash deal. Liverpool are beginning to show transfer movements as Liverpool will request a list of transfer targets from their new manager before they are ready to bid and buy.

I've heard some talk about Liverpool have been in touch with J.Cole's, Ballack's, Raul's and T.Henry's agents. All players will be available on free transfer at the end of the month and cash strapped Liverpool will try to persuade these players to Liverpool. All are experienced and still got qualities.
Yossi is out the door for 7million and Mascherano is likely to follow for around 25 million. Any other transfers, in and out, will be sorted out after the World Cup. I don't have any "inside information", "sources inside the club" or anything like that, this is just talk going around in the City.

Schwarzer is a definate.he will sign after the World Cup and Almunia may be on his way out for maybe upto 2 million.
Defenders:
Silvestre and Gallas will be moving out. Senderos has moved on.Campbell may just stay.
If Sagna does move to Inter then Wenger will sign Van der Wiel.
Otherwise Koscielny and Jagielka will be coming in and maybe even Vertonghen.atleast 2 of these 3
Midfield:
Ozil is the latest one doing the rounds and I think Arsenal will snap him up for 15 million, he'll be a better replacement than Gourcuff because of the price

Apparently Sunderland are close to agreeing a £3.5 million move for Man City defender Nedum Onuoha. They also want Matthew Upson for £7 million from West Ham but only if he is willing to take a pay cut.

That one was floating around a few weeks ago mate, but no offer was made, as officially no boss had been appointed, apparently Mjallby had been over to watch Groningen, , he said he'd be keen, but he's got 2 yrs (i think) left on his contract, so it could be $$$, but who knows? once Lenny gets back from portugal I reckon that's when deals will start to get really moving

Answer "The new owners did'nt want him". Why not have a replacement in charge already? Answer the replacement they want is at the world cup! This isn't really a rumor per se but it has connections to possible other rumors. The Swiss Federal Court has turned down Adrian Mutu's appeal of a decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport that ordered Mutu to repay Chelsea £14 m of his £15 m signing fee after Chelsea released Mutu when he tested positive for cocaine.
Therefore, this might be considered a windfall by Chelsea and they would now have £14 m more to spend this year on player acquisitions/salaries.

That's been widely reported but it does seem to have gone a little quiet. Lots of more recent rumours point to people like Fabio Capello although I'm not aware of any substance behind any of it.
You are absolutely right that LFC potentially face a rebuilding exercise. That often happens when new managers come in anyway, and if all those deals you mention happen plus the two I added, then that's about £160m in the coffers. And I forgot, Real and Inter are both apparently chasing Johnson, Arse are sniffing around Reina, Brum want Babel and Chelski want Yossi. Well that's at least £200m in the bank plus anything found down the back of the sofa. Of course the vast, vast mahority of those sales won't happen. Yes, players (and their agents) are generally much more mercenary than they like to let on, but even if the new LFC management did agree to let those clubs talk to those players and the only real obligation is if/when release clauses are met. I doubt that the new manager will manage to keep all the existing players they want, get rid of all those they want to or get in all the new players they want to, but rumours of a mass exodus are exaggerated. Even Portsmouth haven't yet managed to engineer that.

Craig Gordon will definatley not be joining rangers as he said that he will only ever play for hearts in spl also hearts. And rangers can not afford him more likley to go to a big 4 club or stay. So no one even try saying that he will be heading there. As for driver he will more likely go to burnley, twente, west ham or Chelsea fee in the region of 3.55 million (Edinburgh evening news). Burnley and twente have both had bids rejected.

2 things wrong with the Tyson comment.
1= Reading have already stated that they will not bring in any more strikers as we already have 4, NOT including ones that will come up from the academy (Bignall, BellBaggie).
2 = Reading can't afford to spend 1m on a player. Khizanishvili has a 6 figure sum over his head and Reading can't afford that, so 7 figures is definatly out of the question!

Andrew Driver Rumors are all Just Talk . Andy was talking earlier today and said he will only leave hearts if it is a move to a premier league club in the north of England or to Rangers or Celtic . Rangers at this point have not enquired about the player .
Reasons for this are ;

Speaking to a journalist today Yaya Toure has said he does not desire a move to Manchester City despite his brother Kolo playing there, he has openly stated his desire to move to Chelsea but said he would be open to a move to another big English club, this sounds quite insulting to Man. I hoped that Yossi would stay now that rafa has left but looks like his heading to Chelsea anyway. On the bright side Rafa wants Aqualini and LUCAS for a combined fee of 24m. Aqua is prob a good player but not suited to the EPL and as for Lucas well I've come to the conclusion that he must be a test tube baby borne of Rafa's right nut coz his the only one that see's anything in him!
Throw Masch in the deal and that's 50m to rebuild with, 71m if you include the 15m that's supposedly in the kitty and the 6m from the Yossi deal.

Trevor Hemmings just needs another 5% of the 75% of shares required to take PNE into private hands.
Darren ferguson has also put together a list of 12 possible "FREE" signings to replace the majority of team on the transfer list.
John Rooney is the major name along with some canny signings from the Scottish leagues.
Hemmings has demanded that the highest paid players are off the wage bill by early July and most of the new players on wage only deals before the start of the season.
Expect wholesale changes for the team next season and a push for the Prem.

I have it on good authority that the reason why it has gone a little quiet on the LFC manager situation is that Fabio Capello will be the next Liverpool manager. This will only be confirmed after the world cup has ended (regardless of when England's chances end).

Keane losing patience with Cardiff City on Chopra deal. Cardiff insisting on £4.5M with 80% up front and the rest within 12 months. Keane offered £3.75M, 50% up front the rest based on goals, appearances and promotion over a 3 year period. If deal not agreed by the weekend Keane is walking away and looking elsewhere.
Apart from Ledley, Cardiff not looking to move anyone out, and are in discussions with James Harper, and looking to start negotiations with Robert Korens agent after the World Cup. SAF is considering taking on the Spainish legend, should Real Madrid release him in the Summer. The thinking behind this is not because SAF thinks Raul still has it to cut the Premier League, but more of role model for the young strikers coming through the ranks (Welbeck, Hernandez, Macheda).
SAF truly believes that having these young strikers study under both Rooney and Raul, will be a wonderful influence for their football education. Added onto the fact that perhaps Raul could influence a handful of games next year, grab a goal or two along the way, and have a highly experience hand in those tough Champions League matches (Berbatov couldn't cut it when he had to replace Rooney), it starts to make a bit of sense I suppose.

The silly season is still upon us and will be for some weeks yet until the WC finishes. Not heard anything about a left back that I would say is reliable, but there seems to be a lot of talk Dusko Tosic, i know he's been watched twice, as for Campbell I think he should sign this week, hopefully lawrence shouldn't be far behind him.
With regards to Ledley tho, I reckon the tribunal will set compensation around the 33.5m mark which will put a lot of English clubs off, Celtic have tabled a 25k a week package, and big sign on fee, and A club like stoke might find it hard to fork out up to 3.5, plus a sign on fee plus 25k a week, and ye never really know with the tribunal, look at Daniel Sturridge last year, Chelsea had to fork out 3.5 up front then another 500k after 10, 20 30 AND 40 appearances, and another mill if he gets a call up, I know ye can;t compare them, but are stoke willing to take a chance on what the tribunal will set as a fee??

Raul is not first choice anymore and has not been for a while so a trip to Manchester could bring two seasons out of him still. He's 32 and a welcome addition in my opinion. I am an estate agent in Harrogate and have been contacted by LUFC in order to find homes for 2 new signings, a Mr Demerit and a Mr Hooper.
Is this true?
It sounds like a load of rubbish to me, when people want to find a new home they tend to choose themselves. Did they also ask LUFC to find them new cars??

My last post was attacked by whoever runs this site..but i promise you it was true..joe is really torn between everton and surprise surprise stoke he loves cardiff city and although he has turned down a new contract..its only becauce he wants to play in the premiership.. {editor's note – I never attacked it! Only thing I have pointed out regarding Ledley is that he is out of contract.}

is just guessing cole to arsenal is true but also well known guti to man city won't happen as guti wants to retire in spain. figueroa won't leave for city either as he wants first team football the only place he will leave for is tottenham. owen has another year at united, higuiain has just signed a contract extension till 2016, guttierez is staying at newcastle and certaintly wouldn't go to blackburn as they are likely to be fighting relagation and simply don't have the cash for him anyway. arsenal arnt interested in boruc and want a more experienced keeper in terms of standard of football. bouherra is an outside bet for arsenal but highly doubt it as he is yet to prove anything on a big stage, but lawrence and campbell are 50/50 to sign for celtic as sroke have offered a lawrence a stay in the premier league wish could sway his head and sol campbell is still waitin to see if he will be offered a bew deal at arsenal

Joe ledley will be staying at cardiff. i also had a laugh at someone saying that everton would get him for £1million? but i beleive there is some kind of clause that he has to be bought by a prem team for at least £7million?
