14 May 2013 22:30:51
If Bradford get promoted these are the players they are looking at

Welsh (Carlisle)
Freeman (Stevenage)
Sinclair (Peterboro)
Flinders (Hartlepool)
Vardy (Leicester)
Kennedy (Rochdale)
Pack (Cheltenham)
Maghoma (Burton)

Leaving
Connell (Burton/Exeter /Plymouth)
Reid ( Orient ) wants to leave family reasons
Ravenhill (Chesterfield)
Duke (Southend)

Andy Welsh told people in Carlisle that he had bought a house in Bradford earlier this year so there could be truth in that rumour

15 May 2013 12:15:14
Would love to have Connell at Plymouth seemed good when played us last season

15 May 2013 17:18:19
want reid to stay but rest can go and any of them players to come in I would happily have

Vardy.

Ha ha ha comedy gold.

Welsh rumour been around for a while good experience whether reid leaves or not

Connell hasn't been given a chance this season at city, and although i'm a city support would luv him to go to Plymouth and score loads

Huddersfield Town are prepared to make a move for Derbys Adam Legzdins if Alex Smithies leaves the club.

Mark Robins has also prepared for the possible departure of Jack Hunt by looking at Coventrys Cyrus Christie! Watfords Lee Hodson and Tottenhams Adam Smith.

Alan McCormack of Swindon has also been linked with the Terriers aswell as Barnsley and Doncaster.

Other Huddersfield Targets include James Vaughan (who also has major interest from Derby), Lee Tomlin, Simeon Jackson (wages being an issue) and Keith Fahey

Christie is a 6foot2inch centre back not a full back, Fahey over 30 and doesn't fit the clubs transfer policy, also injured and history of injuries. Maybe Christie is on our radar if we move Lynch out, good prospect and clearly known by Mark Robins.

Fahey over 30 with a history of injuries.! That's our man! Just what we've been looking for.! Fits our professional profile like a glove.!

U clearly don't know christie as he is right back

16 May 2013 12:56:55
Christie is a right back. Think Fahey would be good If he wasnt injured all the time. The peterborough chairman said on twitter that he would want 5 million for Tomlin

Indeed a right back who also plays on the right wing. Our best player by far and will be pricey as he is under contract. Following the trimming of the squad can't see him leaving for anything other than 6 figures and to a prem team.

You mean 7 figures, right?

Oops yes 7 figures at least 2million.

14 May 2013 22:24:43
Jean-Yves M'voto Owono is linked with a move away from Oldham to Bristol City after contract up on 30 June.

He won;t go to Bristol, may be a slightly bigger club but your a failing club now with no money and players are leaving you.

Has he changed his name by the way??

Some reports say Barnsley and Port Vale
interested

No money. Get your facts straight and look in the Rich List. You will find our chairman there.

Port vale- no chance, he has a girlfriend locally, which will help in negotiating a new contract

We have money our owner a billionaire!

Club failing? ok dropped down a divison fair enough. players leaving?was always going to happen same will happen to wolves and pufc would happen to any side that drops a divison. no money? with the players that are going to leave that will give us plenty of money to spend and we will be able to attract the better lower league players fact. if this guy has a choice beteen staying at oldham or going to bcfc its not a very hard decision for him to make COYRS

14 May 2013 22:13:57
Max Clayton is wanted by Leicester City reported fee of £1.5mil

14 May 2013 22:12:16

14 May 2013 21:51:23
Jol's good as gone.

Fulham going to look at Poyet and Vitor Perreira who wants a chance to manage in the PL.

Also on the list are: Martinez, Blanc, Klinsmann and Rangnick.

Watch this space.

Ha where is he going to? Also like how vitor periera who hasn't been linked to you once is now your target think your looking at what targets everton have and applying them to Fulham. I don't believe jol is gone nope sorry

I would like Martinez if he is sacked.

There's no way Martinez will be sacked. The only way he won't be at Wigan next season is if he resigns

It is unlikely (based on recent reports) that Jol will stay at Fulham -as a Fulham fan I will be extremely pleased to see him leave. Good squad of experienced players yet performances well below standard - and in a league that hasn't been great this season. Yes, you can blame the players but Jol is very cupable - watching Fulahm this season is like watching a mess of players.

Martinez would be great but he wouldn't come to Fulham. Poyet would be interesting. The others mentioned are unlikely to come to Fulham. I would like Danny Murphy back at the club in a training role and to work alongside a manager - Danny is future management material.

We need a big clearout at Fulham - with six or seven new players added -essentially a younger squad - key positions are centre back (we need someone with pace who can bring the ball out) - defensive midfielder (a real ball winner - a Sidwell but much better) - strong pacy striker (Rodallega -but better and who scores goals). Berbatov and Ruiz do not work together unless they both play behind a quick striker that will stretch defences. Happy to see Berbatov leave - he appears to be disruptive. Big summer for Fulham and I am not convinced all is going to go well. But, if Jol is to go then it should be done quickly to allow the new manager time to build for next season.

Jol won't leave he is going to get the full backing of the board this summer in order to bring a number of quality players.

We lack quality in all positions (apart from Berbatov) and he is set to bring in 5-7 players.

If you remember at the beginning of the season Fulham were playing some quality football before the surprise departure Dembele to Tottenham and Jol is looking to bring our style back to that level.

Sacking Jol would unstable the team and it is a massive risk to take and brining in a new manager into such a shambles of a team would mean almost certain relegation. So back Jol next season. COYW

Miller won't be leaving United

Chris o grady is set to join barnsley for 500,000 or less in the summer

He, ll be leaving for FREE def

He's under contract! No way you are getting him for cheap.

That's funny, 500k.?

What when you paid 150000 for him, he was not good enough for Wed, 300000 would be a fair price

Thought o grady was free at end of season. So where does £500. 000 come from. Answers on a postcard please. Or for sheffield wednesday fans on a stamp. Ha Ha

Sorry dingles ogrady still under contract.

14 May 2013 21:13:06
Port vale are set to offer a contract to striker victor naldrane who is out of contract.

With the money you've got available you'll be lucky to get Victor Meldrew.

14 May 2013 21:01:22
Swansea sign Striker+ attack midfielder to Alvaro Negredo (Sevilla), Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad) & Giovani dos Santos (Mallorca)

Negredo to Everton £10 Million

14 May 2013 23:33:19
I would love vela and giovani to arrive at swansea! but negrado NO!

Maybe I'm wrong but I've just got a feeling they're going to make a big signing this summer. Would love it to be negredo or soldado. Everton have also be linked but can't see them signing both.

I'd like to see all three at the Liberty but doubt any of them will.

Everton does sound the more likely venue for Negredo.
Vela is on a reported 50k a week, considerably higher than our current top earner (so will he take a pay cut?).
Who would dos Santos be replacing? Hernandez, Dyer, Routledge or the more likely Lamah?

The only chance is if the players aren't more concerned about how much they get paid but LOVE playing the game and want to be part of our journey.

Europe sounds like a great prospect but what about the year after? We need to be showing that we can compete in competitions year on year. If that happens next season, then I think we'll be getting some special talent coming our way WANTING to play for us!

Giovanni dos santos yes please

Dos santos and vela could be a possibility Mallorca is bottom of la liga vela real sociedad middle table both clubs are struggling financial!

Bury look in dire trouble.

The rumours of money issues place Bury 6 weeks behind all and any rivals.

Shocking stuff due Tomorrow and Friday for Bury fans if jungle drums are correct with teams of people taking up office in the club from Monday.

Club employees believe this is part of a valuation team.

The truth is out there X

Sodje go pompey with his bro

Carson isn't out of contract

Neither Sodje or his brother will be at Pompey next season

Burton don't want Harrad

Carson did not attain the required amount of appearances to ensure his contract rolled a further 12 Months.

We shouldn't of got blackwell in he's had a past of financial problems!!!

Think it's out of burton or Mansfield where Shaun Harrod will end up as he is desperate to leave bury and these 2 sides have both expressed interest

Harrad is the highest paid player at the club.

No he's not, Healy is on 3k a week

Anyone who says dench is a **** keep him away

Never happening

14 May 2013 20:56:28
Norwich city looking to sign Danny Simpson on a free transfer then sell Whittker

Why would we sell Whittaker? No chance!

That is an awful idea, Whittaker is our best RB and can fill in at left back well. We don't want Newcastle's offcasts

Only get Danny Simpson if we lose Martin and have him as back up to Whitaker

Whittaker is staying!

14 May 2013 20:55:54
After missing out on Lanre Oyebanjo, Oxford will look to complete a deal for Jon Otsemboor by the end of the week

14 May 2013 18:24:07
Peterborough United are set to lose a host of players this post season after being relegated from The Championship.
Influential defender Gabriel Zakuani was recently put on the transfer list. The Congo international is wanting to stay at Championship level and could make a move to Yeovil Town, but only if they win promotion. Manager Gary Johnson has told reporters he's made an enquiry for Zakuani but will only pursue it if they win promotion.
Another key player who could leave London Road is Tommy Rowe. The 24 year old is also wanting to stay at the level and is rumoured to be interesting Yeovil boss Johnson also, but again Town need to win promotion.
Danny Kearns has recently been transfer listed ans has been told he is no longer needed at United. The Northern Irish midfielder is keen on a move back to League 1 newcomers Rotherham United, of whom he played for them 10 games this season on loan.
Three strikers are also set to depart London Road.
Nicky Ajose has never really felt at home in Peterborough with a number of loan spells away from the club. Crawley are one club that had Ajose on loan and want to offer him a permanent two year deal.
Emile Sinclair and Tyrone Barnett both arrived at Peterborough around the same time and could leave at the same time as well.
Sinclair has loan spells at Barnsley and Doncaster this year but could make the deal at Rovers permanent in the summer, with Brian Flynn sorting out the deal for the new boss.
Barnett is expected to cost a fair amount and only Championship sides would be able to afford him but Rotherham United manager Steve Evans has been given the backing to sign the former Hednesford hitman.

Yes doncaster would want a player who hardly played in last year for the championship what a brilliant rumour you have completely made up, well done

Sinclair permenant your having a laugh he's the worst footballer ever seen

We don't want Sinclair. He was awful for us

Hope Ajose doesn't come back to Crawley. He was useless. A legend only is his own mind.

Only two of the above were regular first team players, the rest have been excess to requirements for a long time, and the sooner they are off loaded the better.

It's not that Posh are "losing" them, they want rid of most!

Don't think we'd be signing sinclair, he played all of about five minutes the time he was on load which says it all, when he did come on he looked very average.

Ajose was not a success at Crawley, so I doubt they'd offer him a contract.

Doncaster wouldn't want Sinclair he didn't get a game with us when on loan

You can keep Sinclair, rubbish,

Absolute tosh, Barnett hardly ever even got on the bench for donny as he was utter crap, no way they will sign him on a permanent. Tommy Rowe and Zakuani will go to bigger clubs than yeovil too!

Sinclair even not barnett.

Sinclair, Barnett and Ajose all talented footballers. I would sign them anyday, Sinclair's pace is devastating and he got a hat-trick against Hull!

Only Zakuani and Rowe are loses, Posh fans will be glad to see the back of the rest of them

Could have let us donny fans into his pace secret? Never showed it to us he was useless and that hatrick was like the only glad he scored all year

Sinclairs pace is not devastating. 1 game for rovers and was like a sloth

Im a posh fan and will be gutted to lose Zakuani and Rowe

But Sinclair is useless
Ajose never given a chance
Barnett probably the laziest footballer ever seen

Sinclair is a very quick player and has scored some good goals - people say he's bad, he's better than any of you keyboard warriors on here! Also Ajose was never given a chance agreed, but Barnett scored in his first game after being on the pitch for about a minute!

14 May 2013 20:41:19

No they're not.

I really hope this is true.

I hope this is true and i'm a Celtic Fan. They would be great additions and would fit straight into our team

Cant see celtic going for walters he's 29 think that's a bit to much. whelan would be good

Walters always gives 110 per cent

14 May 2013 19:41:43
Romelu Lukaku (loan) and Kenwyne Jones (£ 4m) are going to Swansea City.

Jones to Cardiff for £7 million

Jones will stay at Stoke. Crouch is favourite to leave to west ham so stoke are unlikely to sell both of them

We don't want jones. swansea are getting attacking talent from abroad.

14 May 2013 19:24:54
Stoke will attempt to sign two fullbacks this summer with Martin Olsson and John Brayford there top targets

Stoke are interested in Bosingwa rather than those two

Bosingwa is a joke of a player, would prefer Shotton than him

14 May 2013 19:17:06
Town look to sign Peteborough pair Mendez-Liang & Tomlin

Not going to happen, they will cost a lot of money especially Tomlin

14 May 2013 23:17:16
will not cost much at all, may be if they were championship players but with peterboro been league 1 should get both for 250,000 and abit of change

14 May 2013 19:20:33
millwall will make warnock there manager next week with steve morrsion coming back to the den as he hates it up north millwall will also try to sign harry kane and adam smith on season long loans from spurs with the veiw to challenge in the playoffs as most people fail to realise they where in the running til wood left

Lucky to have stayed up let alone challenge for playoffs, Harry Kane will join Leicester permanently in the summer to partner Chris wood.

Do you mean all the non Millwall supporters who can't read a league table.

Play offs. don't think so. Just reading about the players leaving - perhaps not going to worry about some of the casualties but when we can't hold on to young prospects such as Wilkinson then I don't think there is much hope. Its grim reading at the moment but things may change through the summer months. Can't see Kane coming back or Adam Smith (hasn't Smith already said that he doesn't want to come back in any case and will be looking for premiership options). We had a lot of loanees throughout last season and only a couple paid off. Better off with one quality Premier one rather than 2 or 3 just to make up numbers (and can't hit the net between them). alex

He said millwall was in the running to be in playoffs until wood left not the table now?

14 May 2013 19:11:57
Cardiff city agree fee worth £8 million for bafetimbi gomis on a 2 year deal

Thats a lie he would go to a club that has been in the PL for quite a lot of time like Fulham, Newcastle or Spurs.

Cant say that yet we've only been linked so far

14 May 2013 21:47:13
And on what authority do you decide it's a lie? Are you his agent?

£8m seems a lot of money for a player who is only getting a 2 yr contract. So in 2 yrs he can leave on a free!

I have heard cardiff are in contact with loyn aswell

14 May 2013 19:08:34
Ncfc have signed javier garrido from laZio! Source - person

14 May 2013 20:17:41
how much for?

14 May 2013 18:50:33
Nicola Cortese's contract at Southampton will not be renewed. He will walk away from the club in the summer. This is because the Liebherr Trust, who effectively own us, do not share Cortese's vision. They feel his ambition to achieve and sustain European Football is unrealistic. They have formed this opinion due to the financial fair play rules as our revenue is too small to allow us to compete with larger clubs. Expanding St Mary's would be a option but we've only filled it against the bigger teams so this isn't viewed as feasible. As such the Liebherr trust will look to sell us on at a profit. This pending sale will have major implications for our transfer budget over the summer and all future signings have been put on hold until new owners are found.

Perhaps you could tell us all about your club now - Pompey?

Lies, you don't actually know what's happening but you aren't a saints fan and you want this to be the case, however the Leibherr family want to live up to the promises made to the late Markus Leibherr and get Southampton to Europe which is not impossible due to financial fair play as even with the 'big spend' in the summer we still turned a profit over the course of the season so we are still a profitable investment too. {Ed003's Note - they were figures from the tax year before this.}

Where is this coming from?
Also I doubt they'd see a side from League One to the Premiership, where the real money is to be made, just to jump ship now. Doesn't make any financial sense.

Spot on, we all know soton were trying to punch above their weight, expect a rapid decline and a quick return to the championship

And your a Pompey fan I am guessing!

For a start the last couple of games have been a sell out at St Mary's - nit just against the big clubs.

Saints will still spend money this summer - and the Liebherr Trust will sell for the right price if a good enough offer comes in - that's not changed

Cortese has big ambitions though and by all accounts has asked them to put in more money so the club can push for Europe, expand the stadium, etc

Maybe they will, maybe they won't - we don't know yet

Cortese has also said in the past he has other investors that would do if if they won't

Maybe he hasn't and maybe he will leave - and maybe we won't

Whatever happens for now Saints are back where they belong in the Premier League with a 32,000 sweater stadium selling out regularly, a young promising manager, and a fantastic academy - a far better place than most clubs - and a long way from League 1 {Ed003's Note - who are you guessing is a Pompey fan?}

This is purely speculation at this stage. If the trust were planning on selling it seems odd timing as Southampton are on a real upward curve and have just secured prem status with a record sky tv rights kicking in. Southampton are a profitable business. At the end of the day we just don't know and won't for a few weeks yet!

The leibherrs would have to be compleatley insane to discard cortese, we are talking about a man who turned their familys multi millions into multi billions, he is the billionares banker, even if they walked away with a quarter of the revenue as profit each year southampton are still looking at 15 million to spend after the tv money 5 million ayear they could skim from the top and not even miss, as for the financial fairplay rules we are well within our rights to spend as we like as 50 ercent of the players coming into the team will be pushed through from our youth structure, its the big teams that suffer with that ruling

st stuie {Ed003's Note - I saw something about Cortese's future is to be sorted at the end of the season the rest is just speculation from what I can find.}

Yea it was a rubbish rumour anyway

st stuie

Ed003, in the summer Southampton spent around £25million on transfers and at the end of the 2012 year they posted profit of £900,000 for the final 6 months of the year. I am fairly sure that is a profit from the time frame I was referring too. Southampton is a profitable investment for them and they can see this. {Ed003's Note - ok,ta.}

At last nights saints awards dinner mr cortese confirmed to a small group of us that he is staying. He did not expand upon that nor did he duck the question

^Yes, I'm sure Mr. Cortese told you all his plans. Although I will say you're probably right about Cortese staying, at least I hope so anyway. The Liebherrs on the other hand is a different matter entirely, it's a wonder whether or not there heart is still in it.

TBH no-one has much of a clue what is going on & rumours are often used for clandestine reasons.
There will be arguments over the liquid value of Saints & it's potential value currently & with varying levels of investment.
There has been a slight gripe of a quote saying that the Libherr backers have "little to no knowledge of the football industry", in which case it will be down to Cortese's business plans & rhetoric to gain the investment needed to compete for Europe.
If I see some cash being spent I think I might have a flutter on the cups, at least getting to a final.

One thing that has confused me with this rumour is what would happen with MALI INTERNATIONAL AG and MALI HOLDING AG.
These were the late Markus business companies where his daughter took over control in Sept/Oct 2010. However she stood down in late 2011 and Nicola took over as SOLE DIRECTOR of her father's companies. If left Saints I sure he would leave those companies as well.

BBC reporting that pochetino would follow cortese out the door if he goes, no smoke without fire and could be a worrying couple of weeks.

The fact that Pochettino has now come out and said that he will leave us if Cortese goes adds credibility to this rumour.

Personally I think this is posturing from Cortese. There is clearly a bit of a power struggle going on and misunderstandings and miscommunications between what is happening in Southampton and the goings on in Switzerland. They may not be football people at the Liebherr trust but they very much are business people and will be able to see that a combo of Cortese and Pochettino is taking their investment in the right direction. This will get sorted. I can't see him walking away from this so easily after putting so much time and effort in.

It's interesting that we seem to be thinking of the Liebherr heirs as business people. We really know almost nothing about them. Isn't it possible that they are trust-fund, idle rich types?

In response to those of you who are under the impression that I am a Pompey fan; I am not, I am a Saint just like you. Just because someone has written something you don't like the sound of does not make them pompey!

The 900k profit referred to above is for the 6 months to December 2012. Do not be fooled into thinking that we spent circa 25 Million pounds on players and still made a profit. we did not pay cash for our signings; we pay monthly or in installments. We also received payments for past players sold, and sold the majority of our season tickets in this period. Thus do not expect such promising financial stats for the next 6 months.

With regards to St Marys we've averaged 30, 836 so far this season so I take that back, it just seemed emptier against the smaller sides.

However my point re financial fair play still stands, there is a reason Cortese was one of the few to vote against it. Basically Fifa has said that clubs must break even without investment from the owners. So tv revenue, sponsors, ticket sales, merchandising, player sales etc must cover the cost of wages and signings. To soften the blow Fifa will allow a 45 million Euro deficit next season and 30 milliion euros for the next 3 seasons after that. Then it's a case of spend what you make. We simply don't make enough money to compete. Even if we pushed St Marys ups to 45k that still woldn't be enough!

How do we not sell out ost games I think you find we do. Its the away teams tha sometimes don't bring the full allocation and sometimes it brings are attendance down.

I don't like what you have written 'cos you have arrogantly expressed your own opinions, based on speculation, as those of Cortese and the Trust whilst hiding behind anonymity. The only verifiable comment in your original post you have now admitted was wrong. Cortese voted against financial fair play out of principle i. e that he was effectively not considered able to run the club on a sustainable basis. Are you still bitter about the Adkins sacking or are you just a very negative 'fan'.

So glad to see the unity our Chairman, (who is staying)spoke of, filtering through on here.

Mr corteses has this morning confirmed via official statement on clubs OS that he is staying & our ambitous progress will continue & has been signed off by the liebherrs.

"The 900k profit referred to above is for the 6 months to December 2012. "

Think you are forgetting the main income clubs get is from tv money, which for the bottom club next season equals over 60 million. I think we are spending well within our means

Cortese is staying. It's official. End of thread!

'Cortese's contract will not be renewed' - Ha!

Let's face it cortese will be in Italy in a couple of years time he is only staying because financially it to his benefit. I'm fed up with foreigners running English clubs. {Ed001's Note - I don't think that is fair, Cortese is probably as far opposite as you can get to ruining Southampton, whereas Lowe, who is English, did come close to ruining them. Perhaps you missed when Leeds and Bradford were both run in to the ground by English men?}

Only time will tell

Davids off to Southend as they have announced a new coach within the upcoming days. Good signing as he has shown he can still play but also have a good influence on the team. Dave Penney also reported to be on his way to roots hall as chief scout. A lot of new faces in at the shrimpers as promotion from league 2 is a must for Phil brown to get us back to the championship.

14 May 2013 18:27:23
Callum Mcmanaman is a target for a few premier league clubs if Wigan go down, such as Liverpool, Tottenham, Swansea, Fulham.

As a Fulham fan that would be a great signing from what I have seen from him he seems like a very good player.

Stoke are believed to have shown interest in the Young Winger

Highly doubt stoke buy him not tall enough

Will have to be a big bid as he has just signed a 4 year contract.

Ajose won't go on a free, he cost us too much, and forest would never have Barnett, he ent good enuff. plus tommy rowe's our captain he ent going nowhere

Id be disgusted if we EVER sold anyone to Forest. and bloody hell we should aim higher than an altringham player. plus can't see us getting cuvelier back he only featured once for us

Values for outgoing players imo not quite right and we won't sign all them players either

Doubt we'll be getting Cuvelier back, poor lad didn't even really get a chance in the team.

Boyd int going hull for free, hull agreed a 1.5 million bid for him haha, another false one!

From a boro fan I hope so because julio is a great guy but he just isn't up to the pace anymore and injury ridden which is sad because he is a great player

Too old won't happen!

He would be the best player in the championship if he regained form and fitness {Ed034's Note - there are a lot of very good players in the championship, so that is a big statement to make

14 May 2013 17:51:36

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is wanted by Swindon, Rotherham and Bradford.

I'l take him at rotherham

Rotherham is too close for the night life in sheffield. Steer clear of him!

14 May 2013 21:29:36
I've heard O'Grady might come back to Rotherham if we can tempt him and owls with the right cash, also heard that Odejayi and Agard are both on the way out, despite the fact they are quality league 2/1 attackers, Revell may also leave for Bristol City

I am hearing whispers from the county ground Jon obika is signing for the town, was here before didn't do very well under Paul hart, hope if he comes he does better than before.

Danish goalkeeper Brian Jensen is set to retire after his release from Burnley. He could be part of the coaching staff from next season at QPR as goalkeeping coach after having talks with Harry Redknapp about the position, with a number of his staff set to leave.

Unlikely Jensen will retire when he's publically stated that he wants first team football.

Also he is settled in the North West and I cannot see him uprooting his family at present unless absolutely necessary!

Good luck beasty

Southampton's top targets this summer are, Victor Ruiz, Kieran Trippier, Victor Wanyama, Lorenzo Insigne and Adrian Lopez. Deals have already been agreed with 2 of these players.

You won't get Adrian that's for sure.

Nothings certain, nobody expected us to get Gaston Ramirez but that still happened.

Isigne is only 5' 4" tall, so if he joins, we'll need to raid the kit from the u12s

14 May 2013 17:37:14

Stoke look set to bid £3 million for Brighton Midfielder Will Buckley

Why are stoke linked with every brighton player

Liam Bridcutt is NOT out of contract as he signed a new contract a few months ago and is valued in excess of £5m

Buckley is not worth that he cost more than that and he is under contract

Buckley cost £1m so HA would consider £3m I would think and then replace him for less and make a profit.

We rejected a £5M bid.

I've not heard anything about a £5m bid.

14 May 2013 17:35:57
Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray plans to re-sign defender Matthew Bates from Bristol City after holding talks with the player late last week.

We won't,

14 May 2013 17:34:46
Leeds are set to sighn Matt Mills for 1million, the Bolton centre back is unhappy and would like to link up with BMD

Mills will go £1.5 million to LUFC. He is deemed surplus to requirements and has fallen behind Knight, Wheater, Ream and we have Cian Bolger. He has been a disappointment since we arrived from Reading.

Selling Mills will help with much needed funds for new recruits. I would love Dawson to come back permanently.

Worst player ever he is so useless I'm so glad Leicester got rid of him.

Yeah course he is you leicster fans said the same thing about max gradel and look how he turned out

Manager Derek McInnes will fly down to his home in Yorkshire to have talks with Stead but it is rumoured he his holding out for a deal with Nottingham Forest. Former club Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace are also rumoured to be interested.

Can't see Ipswich being interested.

I can confirm Ipswich have no interest what soever

14 May 2013 17:33:02
Stoke are looking to sign Crystal Palace Midfielder Mile Jedinak for £3 million and Brighton Midfielders Ashley Barnes and Liam Bridcutt both out of contract in the summer

This is to replace Dean Whitehead who is set to be released and Glenn Whelan who looks likely to leave Stoke For £3 million with Cardiff, Hull and Celtic Interested

Birdcutt has 3 years left on his contract

Birdcutt has 3 years left on his contract

Bridcutt is not out of contract in the summer. He has another two years on his contract and will cost up to 5 Million.

Why is every stoke player linked with hull??

Sorry reading your post. Barnes. Midfielder? I know he act's like one, however he is a Striker.

Barnes in a striker, not a midfielder

Whelan set to be sold for 3Mil, got to be joking! For a player that doesn't even feature in your first XI?

Whelan has consistanly started for pulis.

Whelan starts every week

Bridcutt is still in contract, Whelan starts regularly for stoke I think pretty much all of them bar Tottenham and Jedinak is not worth 3mil not even worth 1 mil he's 29 peaked and playing in the championship we can do better i. e. Keisuke Honda, Adel Taarabt and Darren Ambrose etc

Adel to stoke that'd be amusing but it won't happen shame because he'd cause longball bullyboy tactics Pullis nightmares. Anyway he's in france as I write this with his agents discussing a move to Monaco and will miss QPR's last game at anfield

14 May 2013 17:30:46

Marlon Harewood is set to sign a new one year deal at Barnsley.

14 May 2013 17:21:26
It has been confirmed where all the four players who have been released by Barnsley could end up at in the summer.
Experience defender Stephen Foster is set to make a return to the club he made his name at and join Crewe Alexandra on a two year deal.
Another experienced defender in Rob Edwards has been in talks with Preston North End. Manager Simon Grayson is keen on some steel in their defence and feels the former Wolves and Blackpool player is keen on staying up North.
John Rooney, brother of Wayne has already been invited to pre season training with Lincoln City. Gary Simpson helped bring Rooney through at Macclesfield and is keen on reuniting with the former Orlando midfielder.
The fourth player who was released by Barnsley is Matt Done. It is thought there was a lot of interest in the winger but he is keen on a return back to Rochdale. Rochdale manager Keith Hill took him to Barnsley and is keen on resigning him back. Done is expected to only sign a one year deal and he is keen on playing at a higher level, if not with Rochdale, with someone else.

PNE have released one centre back, put another on the transfer list and made it clear to everyone bar you that the only defender they want is a right back, not another centre back like Edwards.

Well you never know, grayson may want to sign his old blackpool pal

If Robertson leaves Preston I suggest they will have space in the squad for one more centre back.

Chuck aneks linked with move to barnsley you thought

14 May 2013 17:18:35
Leeds looking at getting Lalkovič from chelsea on a loan deal as Mcdermott is a fond fan of the young chelsea player

14 May 2013 17:17:17
Doncaster have today announced a new manager will be in charge by the middle of next week, this date has changed from the end of this week, which opens the possibility of the new manager being involved in the league 2 playoffs this weekend. Bothroyd or Parkinson.

I think either of them will do a good job for us whoever the board decides on. There the best candidates that have been mentioned so far to be honest and seem to fit the criteria that the board are wanting.

I feel that Doncaster need to look further afield than these 2. Next someone will be linking them with Dowie

I feel as though Boothroyd would be the more probable of the two, but I feel Parkinson would be the better manager for us. Also he could bring Nakhi Wells.

14 May 2013 17:17:03
Middlesbrough are in talks with Chelsea and united in the hope to loan some young exciting prospects, with will keane, Nathan Ake, nick Powell, chalobah and McEachren all being shortlisted.

In your dreams

The only time Chalobah will go near Middlesborough will be on the Watford team bus as it travels to sunderlnd or Newcastle!

On the Chelsea team bus you mean, Chalobah will be given a chance next year as will McEachran with Ake going out on loan to Middlesbrough. The Will Keane rumour is just hanging around due to his failed move last year but the Nick Powell deal could go ahead

14 May 2013 17:13:28
Greg Abbott has put theo robinson as one of his mian targets for carlisle this season.

Would be nice I doubt it though

14 May 2013 17:12:30
Derby County will bid for Southampton's Billy Sharp

14 May 2013 20:45:21
All depends on whether other clubs will be interested, also Nottingham Forest FC may already have a deal in place.

If you check Billy Sharp's social media account there is a picture of Sharp with Derby player Jamie ward. Someone then asks him about something like are you joining Derby with Ward and he wittily replied saying Ward is jointing the reds, all good banter.

I can't see derby competing though but people have said Billy Sharp respects the derby fans for what they did during his difficult time when his son died.

Town in talks with former player Krystian Pearce of Notts county

14 May 2013 16:11:05
West ham have been heavily linked today with Central defender come defensive midfielder Etxerberria and also Ludovic Sane. But remember Sam said "there is a bit of money available". Well if that's true West ham in all sorts of trouble for next season using the current squad. Every other team in the premier league is going to strengthen in the summer and Sam seems to think he has good foundation ALREADY LMAO

14 May 2013 16:06:09
Stoke will try to sign Real Mallorca attacking midfielder Giovani dos Santos for £3 million

Idk where you get this from and he's worth about 7mil (stoke fan)

14 May 2013 16:04:51
Stoke will attempt to sign Hoffenheim striker Eren Derdiyok for £6 million this summer

Quality player I think we could get him 4 million since Hoffenheim are nearly gon from he bundesliga he should be keen to leave

Hope not, he's injury prone and scored 1 in 19 this season in the bundesliga

Well if he only has 1 goal its because Hoffenheim can't even play football come a team who came 8th last year are now 2nd last i'm a stoke fan I belive Hoffenheim play even worse football than us. any way if Dreis Mertens. Givonni Dos Santos,, Ivan Strinic and Scot Sinclere on their way also Maloeny, J. Gomez and McArthur maybe on their stoke might play good football :)

Derby want to sell Will Hughes and use the money to bring on a striker, winger and play maker: but want him back on loan for a season! 8.4million and a sell on clause looking Likely to Liverpool, or Chelsea.

We've said we want a ridiculous offer for us to let him go- 10mil+

Stoke City are also reportedly interested in Will Hughes

Was previously linked to Fulham but I don't think we will match the asking price.

Liverpool get Hughes

Hughes is a massive Liverpool fan but this would play no part in the deal.

14 May 2013 16:39:15

14 May 2013 16:38:48
Derby County will sign Craig Forysth for 150k after Watford's play off final.

They will make a 700k bid for James Vaughan not this week but the week after and see what Norwich do with that bid as the rams try to beat Huddersfield. When Huddersfield make a bid will be interesting but they will definitely make a bid as they have publically stated interest like derby.

If derby do not sign Vaughan in a fortnights time they will begin to look at other targets

700k will not be enough to make norwich want to sell.

I'm sorry but Vaughan's performances and goal ratio this year means he's worth more than £700K. At least £1M I think will be a good starting bid.

700,000 to a million about right, he is injury prone!

Have you considered that Norwich might want to offload the player too. Therefore freeing up wages for other areas.

You have capable forwards in

Holt
Becchio
Van Wolfwinkel

not to mention Hoolahan who is an awesome second striker and Pilkington who has the ability to play up top.

I don't know Norwich's situation but they may be looking to offload Jackson and Vaughan as quick as possible so they can buy players of their own, now their premier league status is confirmed.

You made a poor investment in Vaughan, and I am by no means saying that you should not expect some of a return on the 3 million spent. However you need to accept defeat in this case and I honestly can't see any club bidding anymore than 1.2 million max for a player who has had one half decent season on loan and is injury prone.

The one thing in favour for the canaries is that there is more than one interested party, basic economics pretty straight forward. If demand is high and from a number of different pursuers with only Vaughan available price competition will be huge. This does therefore take out the non price competition element though; Norwich will want the most money and so the fact that Vaughan has good relations at Huddersfield will have no impact whatsoever. Unless of course Norwich accept a bid from both clubs but this would be highly doubtful as Norwich would just except the biggest bid.

The fact that he won POTS for huds doesn't make it a "half decent season".

also, jacksons contract comes to an end at the end of the season anyway.

hoolahan is by no means a second striker. he is a very advanced creative midfielder. (his goals from the last two seasons shows he is nothing close to a striker. )

and pilks may of been capable of playing up top in the lower leagues, but in the prem he is just a very capable left winger.

I expect 1. 5-2m for vaughan, POTS + 3-4 clubs interested, 2 years left on contract.

Capable forwards. what were you watching this season. They couldn't hit a barn door if they tried! RvW and the unplayed Becchio are a vast improvement

Vaughan's a great player, sadly he got injured for us a city, putting on loan really strengths his ability, if he does go it will be a shame but, I hope the best for him! but is till want him to stay with us and perform greatly with rvw!

14 May 2013 16:26:03
Looks like Edgar Davids is leaving barnet to join Bristol rovers on a 2 year contract. He is getting back from his holiday in Amsterdam tomorrow and it will be announced in the next few days. Also Matt Lund is about to sign a 1 year contract with Bristol rovers and goalkeeper Steve midenhall has rejected a deal with Bristol rovers as well.

14 May 2013 17:57:49
You only knew he was in Amsterdam because you read it on the Barnet forum just before this rumour. 100% fake

Get on Rovers for next year with the deals starting next week we have a great chance 2013/14 In - JJ OTOOLE - LUND - DAVIDS MIDENHALL - CURETON + 2 others maybe RYAN BURGE/PETER LEVEN out going Richards to Newport Gill to Exeter if deals go through 2 more departing John Ward getting great side togeather can't wait bring it on at last we are going for it in time for our move to new ground

Small issue of those players you've mentioned are not signing for Rovers.

Lund will at least. wait and see

Rubbish Edgar Davids is still only negotiating with Barnet and they are expected to confirm that he will be staying within the next few days.

14 May 2013 16:24:34

Your all going to love this but Sly report west ham have again been linked with Nicolas Anelka on a free. REALLY! And how much are his wages going to be.

14 May 2013 15:59:57
Scott Sinclair WILL be going to West bromwich Albion next season

Rumours are that stoke are favourite to sign the former swansea winger

I like to see him at albion because I like players who run at the defence and he is one of them, at Swansea he played immense and scored goals, an ideal west brom player

14 May 2013 15:59:27
Stoke will attempt to sign young Palermo Striker Abel Hernandez this summer

Stoke Desperately Need to change their attacking force. Crouch and Walters need to go

God I would love this to be true, few years ago he was tipped to be one of the best strikers in the world when he is older, gone off the boil a bit now but would still be quality

Bit of a long shot. Wouldn't really suit Stoke's style but it would be good to add a bit of flair to the team

14 May 2013 15:58:05
Burnley to sign Peterborough defender Gabriel Zakuani after he rejected a 3 year contract, Burnley also interested in Harlee Dean & Harry Forrester of Brentford, Kevin Davies of Bolton & Nakhi Wells of Bradford

Money to spend then?

I wouldn't say money to spend, Kevin Davies is a free agent, and if Gabriel Zakuani is refusing a 3 year contract, Peterborough may be willing to offload him and cash in if he is in his last year

I can't believe Zakuani actually thinks he is championship level. sure he can head a ball. but is useless with the ball. Rubbish all season and rejects a new contract. joker

Zakuani is a fantastic CB. He can head, he's quick and he's strong. He's a rock and he gives it his all. He would be good at any Championship team. He is not a 'joker. ' Your clearly not much of a Posh fan.

Zakuani is amazing. Don't know what you've seen but he's held the defence together all season with Row

Norwich City 100% to sign Santos from Wigan.
Source: The long haired big mouth scottish Chief scout who was blabbing at a game last week

Stoke are favourites for the argentine

CH told RVW that Norwich was searching for a good winger. Here is one: Alexandre Lacazette

Nobody at Wigan called santos? Do you mean Franco di santo

I thought Alexandre Lacazette is a striker?

Di Santo has a terrible goals to games ratio. He has pace and potential but maybe as a wide player rather than as a central striker.

There are a couple of other Wigan players who would be better signings - Maloney for one.

Lacazette can play on both wings and as a striker!

Maloney will be staying at Wigan.

Crawley have completed a double deal to bring Steven Schumacher and David Worrall to the club from Bury. Both players worked with Reds manager Richie Barker during his time at Gigg Lane. Both signed for undisclosed fees.

Mr Barker is currently in talks with Sheff Utd.
The club will not allow him to spend any monies until the agreed talk has finished.

Rb is not leaving!!

Barker confirms he is flattered by interest but has enjoyed time in crawls and see things out

14 May 2013 15:24:34
Stevenage Luke Freeman and Notts County Alan Judge are both in talks with Rotherham

14 May 2013 18:20:35
Judge? why would he leave Notts County for Rotherham, especially when he has offers from Championship clubs? If he was considering Rotherham, he'd be better staying at Notts County.

And why would Judge talk to rotherham when ipswich come calling, Notts county have an ex ipswich player as a manager, 2 plus 2 =4

I'd take judge looked very good in the cup match against us

Freeman won't go. Stupid rumour

Burnley set to sign Cheltenham Town midfielder Marlon Pack when his contract expires in the summer. Pack has been nominated in the PFA League 2 team of the year for the last 2 years running. Burnley will also make a move for cardiff's Craig Conway who Dyche worked with at Watford.

Craig Conway was a transfer target for Malky Mackay when he was at Watford and he hi jacked the deal when he moved to Cardiff

Your not getting conway, he will be part of malkys plans in the PL

Conway was never actually at Watford.

Craig Conway played for Dundee before they bought him
get your facts right

Read the post before criticising others' posts. It was Mackay who was at Watford and who had Conway as a target. The post never said Conway was at Watford.

Erm its says Dyche worked with Conway at Watford.

Conway never went to Watford he's been in Scotland all his career until Malky brought him here, Dyche never worked with him and despite how much I like Conway I'm not to sure if we'll keep him

Shrewsbury Town set to offer Northern Ireland international striker Liam Boyce a contract when he is free in the summer

Maghoma and Duffy linked with town on today's back of Shropshire star

Have read the Shropshire Star and no names are mentioned!!!!

Duffy and Maghoma are defently linked

Are you blind? In bold writing it says that Jacques Maghoma and Mark Duffy have today been linked with Shrewsbury Town.

Yeah thanks mate someone agreeing with me

I would ask the same question. Those names are not mentioned. No names are ever mentioned by Turner

14 May 2013 14:46:27
Steve Evans watched 3 strikers in his recent trip to Scotland. The Rotherham manager is interested in Lyle Taylor of Falkirk, Leigh Griffiths of Hibernian and Billy McKay of Inverness. Griffiths wants to with stay at hibs or return to parent club wolves so that deal is unlikely but the other 2 have a good chance of happening. Peterbrough are also interested in Lyle Taylor while Billy Mckay is attracting interest from Preston and Sheffield United too.

I'd take both McKay and taylor keep away from Griffiths he sounds trouble

Gus Poyet is to leave Brighton for the vacant Everton position.

Sad but true : (

Why would Everton who has just failed his latest test. This speculation is based on misinterpreted view of his interview on tv. He will be Brighton manager next season and lead them to automatic promotion if the finance for the players he needs to strengthen the side is made available.

Would like to see him replace Pulis at Stoke and Martinez to take the Everton Job

Gus Poyet has always said that the team need to keep progressing for him to stay. And In my opinion if you would have said to Poyet at the start of his Brighton career that within 4 years of him taking the job "Brighton will be fighting in the playoffs" he would have laughed and said that your crazy. Truth is we have just signed a brand new shirt sponsor with "American Express " rumoured to be worth 8 million over 3 seasons. and a club chairman that is rich and a massive Brighton fan. Poyet will want to FINISH the JOB at Brighton and see how far he can take it before he is done. and then when as he say's the club "hit a roof" he will consider his options. don't ask a man that is fiercely competitive after a massive game of disappointment to comment, Very Very unfair and not a true reflection of his admiration for the club.

Whoever Poyet goes to he's going to try and sign Brighton's best players. Buckley, Bridcutt, Ulloa and he'll get Bridge from City

15 May 2013 20:19:03
Well he won't be going to Everton then, if he can't hack life in the championship with a shoe string budget he certainly won't last in the premiership with no money! Everton have never had any great financial clout so he will be jumping out the frying pan into the fire. Anybody that follows Moyes will have it tough!0

I don't see why Everton would want Poyet anyway

David Moyes Come from a chapionship team and look how well he did. so with Gus on his way out don't see why not.

Poyet and Moyes are two different managers, who play two different styles of football.

Norwich youth team LB Ben Wyatt set to sign a 5 year deal with Chelsea in the summer after impressing it his teams youth cup victory.

(source Darren Huckerby )

Chelsea already have good young left backs

Cant see it. Norwich have no reason to let him out of his youth contract, and we now have a cat. A youth status.
The club will keep it's youngster unless they think tbeyre not good enough.

Not true

A few years ago this may have been true. We're category 1 now though so no clubs can come to pick and choose at our talent. Hands off.

Stoke will enter the Battle Between Cardiff and Norwich for Celtic Leading Goal scorer Gary Hooper

Hooper, you having a laugh
dream on boys, dream on

Going to norwich

Hope not we should be looking at better than Hooper

Hope Stoke sign him so we don't have to (norwich)

I'm not to sure that anyone should get him cause he played up in the spl which has gotten a but worse no offense obvs because Rangers have gone so there's no comp up there no challenge for Hooper so you can't really judge him

Hooper is class, fair play he plays in a s*** league but he is good don't see why Norwich fans don't want him prob because we won't get him he will go for a bigger team and yes that is everyone Eles in the prem, but hooper is a great player shame he at Celtic needs more or a challenge

Steve Davis, the manager of league 1 Crewe Alexander, is in pole position to become the new Wolves manager and will be given around £6 million to spend (Due to parachute payements from getting relegated from the premier league) to get the recently relegated club back to the championship at first attempt.
If this switch happens Crewe will bring in former player Danny Murphy as a player-manager due to his contract expiring at Blackburn Rovers.

Davis distanced himself from the job last week.

Hos contract doesn't expire until next year but you can take him if you want him, he's awful as a player, wouldn't dream how bad he is at managing!

Also shock of the season Steve mclaren could be set for a sensational return to England at. Hartlepool! His family are still based in the north east and is willing to give it a challenge

Dyche has already started building for next season with Burnley so this wide of the mark

Not all of these will sign of course, but they are serious targets.

Leaving will be Nathan Cameron (Northampton, free), Cody McDonald (Gillingham, 200k), Gary McSheffrey (free transfer), Chris Dunn (Dagenham & Redbridge, free), Stephen Elliott (MK Dons, free), Callum Ball (Derby, loan return), Danny Philliskirk (free transfer), Shaun Jeffers (free transfer), Richard Wood (Barnsley, free), Jordan Stewart (free transfer), James Bailey (Derby, loan return).

They say cortese may be on his way. Great I could never believe how Adkins was treated. Let's have a manager who can speak English and here for the long term, Take away one win this season we would be right in it.

Aaron Martin is apparently already set to join Swindon Town for next season.

Would love to see Aneke here but can't see him coming, Lyle Is a possibility link up with his former manager. Hope so anyway

Typical coventry mass exodus and no cash coming in. Jeffers will be premiership he has bags of potential. As Daniel sturridge did before he was released. I am not happy with the appointment of pressley. And fear for the future of my club. Please haskell come in now and save my beloved skyblues.

Get real Mr Cortese has save Saints and set them on the right path to the top.
Saint Ter

Ridiculous comment about Cortese above. No one was sadder than me when Adkins went but the team have improved under Pochettino and you have to credit Cortese with that. A win aghast Stoke and we'll finish comfortably mid table. What has his language skills got to do with anything? Results are what count. People like yourself embarrass our club with comments like that!

Do not want Wood at BARNSLEY, NOT GOOD ENOUGH

If true chuke aneke is quality in the mould of chalobah at watford

16 May 2013 16:30:14
Don't forget cortese was spending the owners money as for the style of football the fitness of the players has been good but playing high line football if the present manager stays we will get caught on the break, teams will soon learn to play against it. Look at the way Chelsea played against benfica

16 May 2013 18:10:12
If cortese and the manager are thinking of leaving you have to think how loyal are they to the club. You could spend millions and still not do well. Look at the conference league 12 teams who have been in the football league. Every Few years a group of player make it good. The most important thing is to hold onto Luke shaw clyne ect.

17 May 2013 09:52:00
Let's not have another soap opera at st Mary's make your mind up cortese and stay or go the club will live on. If they increase the season tickets like last year they will lose me after years of support, could be eastleighs gain.

Wootton was on loan at Forest this season and had an excellent season (by all accounts) in the championship so why on earth would he spend next season in League 1. You are wildly off the mark on so many of these. or perhaps you are confusing the real world with championship manager?

14 May 2013 16:38:09
just got rid of one Lee who was camped at Town - don't need anothwer.

He leave on a free at end of season so very possible

Stoke are "looking" at the following Free summer agents
Chris Cohen -Nottingham Forest
Lewis Mcgugan - Nottingham Forest
Lewis Dunk - Brighton
Liam Bridcutt - Brighton
Ashley Barnes - Brighton
Neil Eardley - Blackpool
Chris Brunt - West Brom
Maynor Figueroa - Wigan
Danny Simpson - Newcastle
Lee Camp - Norwich
Franco Di Santo - Wigan {Ed034's Note - chris cohen is under contract and certainly will not be available on a free

Chris brunt free agent?

Cohen is under contract

I would hope stoke could sign Danny Simpson and Di Santo

Bridcutt and Simpson will sign for Stoke

Chris Brunt has still got a contract at west brom, is the captain and will not be joining lwly Stoke3

Chris Brunt Free Agent?! Are you being for real?!

West brom to sell chris brunt? that's like rooney going to Accrington Stanley, never going to happen, he is our skipper, although he can play rubbish at times

So stoke currently have Begovic, Soerson and Butland and they are going to want Lee Camp.

Bridcutt is definitely a target for a lot of clubs. massive massive loss to Brighton,

Briddcutt will not sign for stoke for two reasons. One; he isn't out of contract, and two; wouldn't sign for a club where he won't be able to play the ball along the floor

Norwich or cardiff are the most likely to buy bridcutt

If Stoke want Eardley I'll drive him there myself!

14 May 2013 12:58:43

14 May 2013 13:47:33
Sunderland are after Rhodes to replace Graham who is to be sold this summer also heard that welbeck might be back on his way to Sunderland

Would love our big money swoop to be welbeck with him and fletcher up front it would be great 12million plus though

Stoke are also interested in Jordan Rhodes to replace Walters who looks set to leave for Celtic

Actually its austin from burnley

Scott Sinclair and Wilfred Bony to West Brom

If only this was true would be great move by westbrom.
boing boing

Not bony.

Bony would likely cost in excess of £10mil, unless Jeremy Peace has decided to change his current plans with regard to not spending big on players I would think it's unlikely that WBA would be signing him.

Odemwingie swap plus 6milion would do it for bony

I watched bony on the web and he is crazy, proper goal poacher, it be good if we had him or if not emenike

west brom should also consider raiding wigan because they got players that are quality eg Maloney and kone, also scharner but we let him go in the first place, dunno why reminds me of kevin Phillips when we let him go

14 May 2013 13:19:07
Michael Chopra supposedly in talks with Rotherham United. However, other teams have shown an interest like Sheffield Wednesday, Doncaster, Huddersfield and Bournemouth.

Probably not bournemouth there's no race course nearest one would be Salisbury or Newbury

Wonder if chops will have a pony on it he loves a flutter

Don't want him, he be in bookies all time :)

14 May 2013 12:26:33
Manchester City are set to appoint Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho. Mourinho held talks with Chelsea last week but is to believed to be unhappy with their future ideas.
The former Porto, Chelsea and Inter man is thought to be close to signing a four year deal and is wanting to get rid of Jack Rodwell, Scott Sinclair and Edin Dzeko to make room for a some new signings.
England international Rodwell is keen on leaving the club anyway due to lack of first team opportunities and could hold talks with Leeds United. The Championship outfit are keen on new recruits and could take the former Everton player on loan with a view to a permanent deal if they manage promotion.
Sinclair is also wanting to leave The Etihad with first team options limited. The winger has already held talks with Spanish outfit Valencia and was rumoured to have been impressed with the club.
Dzeko is one player wanting to stay in Manchester but an offer from Borussia Monchengladbach was accepted for a summer move and he could hold talks in Germany before the end of May.

Rodwell to Leeds? You're having a laugh.

A wow Rodwell coming to Leeds?! I wish but even IF he left on loan he wouldn't step down to the championship he is at least a mid table prem player

I would love him there, but no chance. If he became available there would be a queue of prem clubs after him. plus his wages would pay half our squad

Why would leeds want rodwell anyway he is so overated and is always injured

14 May 2013 10:39:19

Stoke City May Take a gamble and attempt to sign QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt for £5 million

Worth the Gamble - Stoke have nothing to lose as he can hardly be worse than Glenn Whelan

14 May 2013 15:55:48
He was a huge part of the QPR problem, inconsistent, moody and greedy. Brilliant but more often pants! Should do well at Stoke.

Big risk as taarabt is one of those players who can fall out with managers easily and with pulis its my way or the highway as we've seen fallouts with pennant and beattie but then again he's restored etherington and nzonzi, but if he did get him in order he would be a quality player as I think he has the ability just not the mentality

14 May 2013 12:24:51
Bristol City are hoping to start talks with Brighton's Will Hoskins in the next week, City are preparing to lose the likes of Sam Baldock and Steve Davies. They have received many enquiries about Davies already.

Charles N'Zogbia

Junior Hoilett
Yannick Bolasie

14 May 2013 12:17:22
Stoke will look to Bring in Aston Villa Midfielder Charles N'zogbia for £5million during this summer transfer window

Make it £7mil and I reckon you might have a deal. Would rather he left the country though-i don't like having ex players come back to haunt us!

£5m? you're having a laugh! £8-9m

You seriosly think he's worth more than 5m, he's currently on your bench rotting away. I'd hope to pay 4m at the very most, if he can't get in the villa team then we wouldn't really be improving ours would we?

14 May 2013 12:16:37
Jon Walters is ready to leave Stoke this summer and is likely to play his final game aganist Southampton. Oldham Athletic and Bradford both interested in signing Oxford United midfielder Dean Smalley.

Hmmmmmm don't think so

Smalley is supposed to be a forward (Not a very good one)

Would love it to be true. But considering we signed him from Oldham 2 years ago, and he spent 6 months on loan at Bradford last year and they decided not to keep him, shows they wouldn't be interested!

Anyone heard anything on any Fulham rumours?

Only Baird defo going to West Brom

Papisse Cisse and Ayew bros. Also linked with Sascha Riether perm

Jordan Ayew, Stekelenburg, Amorebieta, Bridcutt, Vydra, bent, Huddlestone, Boateng, Overtoom

Derek boatang agreed a deal to sign in summer was at the reading game as well already had medical

Fulham going after Darren bent as out of favour at villa.

Gomis, Remy, Bony, Gourcuff, Dragovic and Douglas any links about them because they would be great signings.

Shame about bairdiniho one of our most steady players very underrated player don't blame him for leaving though.

14 May 2013 11:24:11
Leicester's king is attracting interest from hull watford crystal palace and QPR

Is that the one buried in a car park?

Watford don't want him. Deeney, Vydra and Fessi are all better than him

^ Andy King is a midfielder. And he's better than Hogg and Battochio in my opinion, so would be a good addition to the side, however Leicester won't let him go cheaply, so we may have to look elsewhere.

^King is a midfielder, not a striker. I as a Watford fan would like to see King at Watford next season, Schmeichel wouldn't go amiss either

He is a midfielder lad, not a striker

Too suited to HOOFball.

15 May 2013 10:07:10
^Wooooah! Definitely DO NOT want Schmeichel!
He's got a good kick on him but not much else.

, he is no way better the Battocchio or Hogg.

14 May 2013 11:20:24
Brighton Scout Paul Hall has been tracking Shrewsbury Winger Jon Taylor since the Shrewsbury-Colchester United game prior to Christmas when he caught his eye while on a trip to watch a Colchester player.

Brighton are now expected to make a move after their Playoff failure means Championship football next season.

Oh rub it in why don't you. Could have been looking at flair players from the continent and now we're going to have to look at Shrewsbury players after last night :-)

Don't agree. Brighton will be of course disappointed with the playoff result, however give it 2 weeks or so. and then be even more determined to go into Automatic places next season. so signing unproven good league 1 players is not on Poyet's agenda. he will target talented skillfull players for 2013 - 14 campaign.

Why would Brighton won't him. He'll be in the reserves and on the bench for ages.

14 May 2013 11:19:43
Carlton Cole heads the wish list of Crystal Palace Manager Ian Holloway

Possibly whilst Murray is out. But very injury prone and his age does not fill me with confidence. Should be looking for a PROVEN goalscorer that works hard, not going to see Carlton running around chasing the ball down like Murray does.

14 May 2013 11:18:47
A number of clubs tracking Andy King

Could Leeds be one of them? Good player

A good player which is why I can't see him changing clubs

14 May 2013 10:58:46
Jon Stead Is set to join Pne this week done deal folks!

Hope so to kill the rumours of him coming back to Town.

Bristol City are only getting rid of Stead because he's the highest paid player on their books.

He must be on £10k a week.

I doubt he would drop down to a league 1 club who couldn't pay more than £2k a week.

Most Championship clubs (and the top half League 1 clubs) would snap his hand off to play for them and could offer him twice what PNE could pay.

Cant see this one even being a starter

wouldnt be suprised if danny simpson came in on a free transfer plus a midfielder, or two if diame goes.

MK Dons and Bradford are fighting for Charlton winger Scott Wagstaff who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Hear Robbo is being interviewed for Sheff Utd job - if he goes then will take some of our better players!

He's a free agent isn't he? We released him sometime last week.

Robbo not going anywhere. He came into my workplace and we had a good chat. He settled in Mk. Sheff utd did offer half a mil for him tho.

They offered £500k? And Winkelman didn't bite? I'm utterly amazed! A great chance to divert some more cash into the gloriously full stadium and he passed in over?

Gobsmacked!

Yeah we released him last week

14 May 2013 10:15:02
Charlton are ready to listen to offers for Dale Stephens Danny green and Danny Hollands

I think Stephens is going to be a great player in the future

Id cash in on stephens as quick as possible

I'd let Stephans go for at least 1.8mil but I'd keep green because we have no good wingers except harriot, and it's either jack sparrow (lawrie Wilson) or green on the wing.

14 May 2013 10:14:34
Mansfield defender Luke Jones has turned down a new deal at the club in favour of a deal at league one side Shrewsbury Town. Whilst striker Matt Green has seen a trial at Birmingham City ended after Lee Clark decided not to pursue his interest further.

Hearing That If Malaga CF boss Manuel Pellegrini Takes Over From Roberto Mancini As Manchester City Manager, He Will Bring Julio Baptista, Jeremy Toulalan and the captain Weligton to The Etihad.

Leaving Manchester City, should Pellegrini arrive will be:

Edin Dzeko -----> Borussia Dortmund
Scott Sinclair --> Swansea City
Kolo Toure ----->?
Jack Rodwell ----> Everton FC

And probably isco as well.

Rodwell to everton no chance one they have got no manager and two they don't need him anymore

Sinclair would never be welcomed back to swansea, money grabber that would rot in the reserves like he has done with city this season.

14 May 2013 10:05:27
Hull City set to sign Nick Powell on season long loan for Manchester United - strong connections with Warren Joyce seals the deal

14 May 2013 10:04:19
Bit of a West Ham striker situation update. Andy Carroll will return to Liverpool at the end of the season and provide cover for the banned Luis Suarez for the first few games of next season. Hull City want West ham target Jordan Rhodes for a cut down £4m. Cardiff City, QPR and Norwich are chasing the signature of Gary Hooper. With Carlton Cole, Modibo Maiga and Wellington Paulista all being released, the striker situation is looking desperate at West Ham

Why would Blackburn sell you a player they paid £8m for and that looks to have improved for £4m

14 May 2013 13:52:23
Rhodes is going to west brom anyway!

West ham are planning on buying andy caroll!

No he will not be cover for Liverpool Rodgers doesn't use that type of player in his way of play seen it plenty of times and he already said he's not part of his plans, they already got Sturridge and the got Borini as back up (From a Cardiff City Fan)

Portsmouth in talks with Sean Clohessey of Southend, Burton Albion strikers Calvin Zola and Matt Paterson, Stanley's Lee Molyneux and Joe Oastler of Torquay. Whittingham wants a squad of proven L2 players and has already signed Tom Craddock of Oxford.

How Many Times, Sean Clohessy Wants To Stay At Southend, He Has Stated Himself That He Will Sign The Two Year Deal Offered To Him By Southend.

The Pay At Southend Will Be Better Than The Pay At Portsmouth

Doubtful on all of these transfers, but would love to see calvin Zola at Pompey, physical and technical, rated him since he was in newcastles youth team!

Yes Zola quality hope is actually happens will be beast upfront with agyemang

As a club that continually fails to pay its players staff etc I am sure Sean will be delighted to get away! Zola and Paterson could be a decent shout although I believe Burton are trying to keep both. Molyneux has had an good season and although an ex-saint (like Paterson) would be welcome. Oastler rumour is definitely doing the rounds he is re-joining.

Clohessy Has Said He's Staying, End Of.

Calvin Zola not on a free so probably not for Pompey we aren't paying out

Zola is free ---> contract finished with Burton. Same for Maghoma and Paterson.

Please get your facts right.

Pompey already in talks with Zola anyway!

I hope you prove me wrong and we are in talks then but can't see it happening

Where have you got this information from cause I doubt that Zola will sign for us so your wrong

The pay at Southend will be better than the pay at Portsmouth - are you having a laugh? Southend have been in court getting wound up more times than we actually pay our players on time! ridiculous comment, no one in their right mind will come to Southend, we are in for a tough summer and an even tougher season.

Clohessey has NOT said he's staying at all.
He's very likely to leave. But probably to a league 1 club.

My Next Door Neighbour Works At The Club And She Said Clohessy Has Said He's Staying, First Hand Source. Shows How Much You Know, He Said It On Blues Player And Told My Neighbour Yesterday!

Clohessey will leave Southend. Pompey won't get both Zola and Paterson, but maybe one of them. Oastler will return to Pompey.

Calvin zola's a good player, watched him at crewe a few times and he always popped up with a goal.
-pompey fan

If you think that Clohessey will leave southend then that's a real heads gone

Clohessey has joined Oxford

"Clohessy Has Joined Oxford". Whatever. Nothing On Either Club's Website, Besides, He Has Said He Won't Leave Southend. He Told My Neighbour Who Works At The Club! First Hand Source! All These Jealous Portsmouth & Oxford Fans. Deary Me.

Doncaster interested in: free agent Zakuani from peterborough following their relegation. Granty boy McCann may also follow. El Hadji Diouf may return after he fell out with Mcdermot (brighton game). Billy sharp may return to be worshipped once more by the keepmoat faithful as may former skipper Brian stock. Following Wolves relegation, a reduced fee would be accepted for Kevin Doyle (around the 1 million pound mark). Rovers are also intersted in Spurs wonderkid Tom Carrol on a season long loan, and may also get John Lumstram on a permanent deal following Moyes departure from Everton.

Diouf didn't fall out with McDermott after Brighton game. Billy Sharp won't be going to Doncaster as other teams have already expressed an interest.

Donny won't spend £1m on a player and that comes from Donny fans I know

Zakuani is not out of contract he has just handed in a transfer request. GET FACTS RIGHT!

What an awful rumour. None of the above possible. Why would we sign, stock, sharp won't come back, and kevin Doyle? Really?

First of all we haven't a chance of getting sharp back, saints would probably want 3 million they would want to loose money on his sale, second of all why do you think we would spend 1million on a single player the rovers board have only done that for sharp very little chance of it happening again

Zakuani not on a free he still has 12 months to run.

14 may 2013 12:47:25
terry butcher will become doncaster rovers manager on thursday, fact i work for inverness he's been in advanced talks with rovers since monday, needs to be in place by weekend so dealings on players can start

14 May 2013 13:12:15
Donny won't spent 1 million? They got Billy Sharp for over 1 million. They've got the money, who says they won't spend it?

Free agent Zakuani? don't think so pal. he has a year left. Transfer listed, but you can't afford him :)

Zakuani has 1 year left on his contract.

Since Monday? It's on Tuesday? Talks can't be that advanced with butcher

The board say we won't be spending a lot and that's true it's been said in the free press that they won't overhaul the squad they will be looking at free transfers and loans the reporters for the free Press have confirmed this

If zakuani has one year left on his contract then were going to have to sell him now or he wil go on a free next season because he will be out of contract

Zakuani has a year left on his contract, but has refused an extension, so club policy comes into play where as the player is put on the transfer list as appossed to letting them run out the contract. Clear?

Zakuani has a year left on his contract, but has refused an extension, so club policy comes into play where as the player is put on the transfer list as appossed to letting them run out the contract. Clear?

Yes Butcher will become Rovers manager, but not till Tuesday next week. Like any other job the interviewers know who they want. other 3 been interviewd at length are Dickov, Wilson and Warnock, ,, But BUTCHER to win the race.

14 May 2013 20:53:53
Zakuani maybe, but not McCann. Offered a new contract, which he seems set to sign if his twitter posts are anything to go by.

What a terrible rumour. El Hadji Diouf won't come back, he's a money grabber, stock isn't good enough, injury prone, sharp has interest from other clubs but IS a possibility, and that Peterbrough CB that barely played last season. No thanks!

14 May 2013 09:23:43
Edgar Davids will be announced new player manager at Donny on Friday

Also spurr Quinn and Bennett will sign there already agreed 2 year deals Monday along with brown who will sign a 1 year deal

14 May 2013 09:00:45
Swindons Wes Foderingham is subject to a 750k bid from Wolves, the Swindon board want to keep hold of him but a bid of 1million will be accepted with 30% due to Palace

I can see this happening, Swindon are selling any player with resale value and releasing any player at the end of a contract that doesn't have cheap wages.

The board don't know what they are doing a bit like the manager. Relegation is expected certainly from where i'm looking.

This is highly unlikely as he's nothing special, especially compared to Hennesey, Ikeme and De Vries. Even McCarey and Kello are probs better

Sir Wes nothing special??

Most clean sheets last season and 2nd most clean sheets this season in the top 4 divisions.

Do more research before you post again.

Rooney will sign for Swindon Bournmouth looking to sign Fotheringham and Flint

14 May 2013 08:37:18
Edgar Davids to leave Barnet and take up post as number two with Bristol Rovers

Well It looks to be true as he met with With John ward in Hertfordshire a few days ago.

Yep, I can confirm this is true however there are 3 more names on Wards' shortlist.
expect an announcement at the end of the month.

I can confirm this is true, with one of those others on the shortlist Carl Fletcher - ex Plymouth.

Third name is Mike Rigg, a man with plent of experience as a coach in the premiership/ league 1. {Ed001's Note - wasn't Rigg a scout?}

Davids is abroad and has been since barnets last game, dream on

He was a scout at blackburn and man city, but held director of footbal role for wales (until 2005) and Qpr for a short time in 2012 {Ed001's Note - cheers, I thought he was a scout.}

14 May 2013 08:05:34
Jon Stead will sign for Huddersfield this week he left Bristol due to the fact he wants his kids to be closer to their grand parents. Tom Clarke will sign for Leyton Orient, Novak will sign for Hibernian. James Vaughan has chosen Derby and will complete 500k deal. Theo is available though any1? 27

Where are you getting this stuff from, are you simply making it up? Stead is NOT coming back to Huddersfield, try reading the chairmans end of season review, even if he was good enough he does not fit the profile of players we want to sign. Can't see Novak going to SPL, Theo no way is he coming back, Vaughan will sign for Huddersfield before Pre season unless Norwich keep him.

Jon Stead Is Going to Preston North End Football Club. Not Huddersfield Town Football Club.

How has vaughn signed for derby when he's out of the country on holiday

Jon Stead is not wanted by Huddersfield, unless of course he'd be willing to play for free? Novak hasn't even confirmed if he's leaving yet so, wrong. Vaughan hasn't chosen Derby seeing as Norwich haven't even decided if they want to sell him yet & even if they do, if Derby think they'll get him for 500k they're just imbos so, also wrong.

Rubbish Town will not sign Stead and the chairman has confirmed we are chasing Vaughn but he is away on holiday

Vaughan got back off holiday on saturday

14 May 2013 20:59:51
no i'm not making it up you will all see- we need strikers and he is on a free so yes he does fit the recruitment policy his wages will be less than Alan Lee was on. Examiner says novaks wanted by Hibs. Vaughans injury record means £500k is about right!

14 May 2013 23:05:32
no Vaughan is still on holiday and as for stead going to Town no chance we don't want him back.

Steads biggest mistake was to leave Town in the first place. If he had stayed on he could have progressed as a player and possibly written himself into Town history. Since he's left he's done nothing. Not good enough to be given a second chance IMO.

14 May 2013 08:18:26
Morecambe and Rochdale are interested in signing 22 year old Kyle Wilkie on a free transfer from Scottish club Greenock Morton.
Morton wanted to hold onto the midfielder who previously had played for Stockport County.

I'm a Morton fan and it's my understanding we didn't offer offer him anything.

He's clearly got hints of ability, but he tends to go missing a lot of the time. He's also about 2 foot tall.

I doubt if either Rochdale of Morecambe have even heard of him let alone be interested

14 May 2013 04:07:26
Notts County to sign Aaron O'Connor on 2 year deal from Newport County. Nottingham Lad.

14 May 2013 01:54:44
Ipswich rumours:

Obviously not going to sign all of them but these are just some of the names i've heard us linked with lately:

Wayne Hennessey or Carl Ikeme, Richard Stearman, Chris Berra, Stephen Ward, Karl Henry, Sylvain Ebanks-Blake, Kevin Doyle (All at Wolves)

Stephen Henderson - West Ham
Harry Forrester (Brentford)
Jay Tabb - Free
David McGoldrick - Free
Alan Judge - Free
Cole Skuse - Free
Guirane N'Daw - Free
Daryl Murphy - Free
Jacques Maghoma - Burton Albion
Nakhi Wells - Bradford City
Harry Maguire - Sheffield United
Nicky Maynard - Cardiff City
Luke Moore - Swansea

OUT:
Jay Emmanuel-Thomas
Michael Chopra
Lee Martin
Andy Drury

Skuse has signed today

14 May 2013 16:09:13
maynard! are you mad he'll be a premier league player next year not trying to escape relegation for the umpteenth time

As the Post post above Skuse has agreed a 3 year deal, Tabb and McGoldrick are 99. 9% done. From the rest of the links I would be happy with Stearman, Judge, Maguire and a GK. Think Maguire would be out of our price bracket though.

We will be the Wolves B Team

You will not get Maynard unless he is a bit shy of form and I don't think he will be

SEB and Berra have just been released

14 May 2013 01:23:17
Liverpool transfer targets:

Christian Eriksen (Ajax)- top of the list, Daniel Agger has said he's the type of player LFC need and he is almost certain to join this summer (fee-undisclosed)

Dries Mertens (PSV) - (Fee-£17 million) A lot has been said about him joining the reds, the club need a winger and he's scored 16 goals in Dutch league this season and 37 in 62 apps for PSV overall. Rodgers is a keen admirer of the wingers eye for goal. PSV willing to sell him this summer but not cheaply.

Dejan Lovren (Lyon)- (fee-£12 million) With Carragher and Skrtel leaving Rodgers will need to add a couple of defenders. He is said to be a keen admirer of the French centre back and the player is reportedly looking for a move to the premier league.

I suspect after these three the budget will be mostly spent, so I doubt there will be many other major transfers but these are all I know of.

Erikson has already said he is off to Dortmund and Lovren is Croatian. no truth in these at all

Ed thought erikson had openly said he wants to join Dortmund this summer? {Ed001's Note - he has, but Agger did say Liverpool should sign him too.}

14 May 2013 05:42:51
Colchester are set to sign ex star Lua Lua on a two year deal

Lots of speculation last summer about this. Lua Lua comfirmed he is happy at the moment with no plans to return. Would be a great signing and it would almost certainly being the fans back but very much doubt it unfortunately.

This is a ridiculous suggestion, it is highly unlikely that he will move from Brighton to Colchester, myabe on loan certainly not on a two year deal.

With regards to above comment, ex star is LOMANA Lua Lua, not the Brighton player who has never played for Colchester.

That being said, its still crazy talk

Kezanga Lua Lua is Lomana Lua Lua's nephew neither of them are moving to Colchester get real.

This is probably the 3rd or 4th season in a row someone has come on here and said LuaLua is coming back. Same person every time?

14 May 2013 01:09:18
PSV Eindhoven winger Dries Mertens is a top target for Brendan Rodgers this summer. It is clear Liverpool are in desperate need of a wide player who can contribute to goals and Mertens has scored 37 goals in 62 appearances for the Dutch outfit with 16 in the league this season.

Liverpool have expressed their interest in the winger but PSV have stated they will only let him go for £17 million. Will the owners put the money in? Well see.

Portsmouth in talks with Mansfield Town Midfielder Anthony Howell and former striker Svetoslav Todorov.

13 May 2013 23:06:15
Gabriel zakuani has rejected a new 3 year contract
Apparently due to international reasons

What does this even mean?

13 May 2013 23:01:55
rory fallon has been rumoured as a target for john sheridan of plymouth argyle having been recently released from aberdeen, the ex-chesterfield boss is keen on the striker as believed its the right league for him, location of plymouth is not a problem for fallon due to being a former green himself.

No he's not, fallon is very poor

Come on anymore rumors?
Everything is moving so slow!

We don't need him I'm sure we can get a better striker in rather than bring Fallon back.

14 May 2013 01:02:19
Been told by my sources that Di Canio is after Burnley forward Charlie Austin to add to his Sunderland front line and is also hoping to be reunited with winger Matt Ritchie from Bournemouth to provide competition.

He can have Ritchie if he's willing to pay 2million. Ill be gutted to see him leave but money talks

Di Canio put the price tag of 2 million on Ritchie when he was at Swindon, so if you want him pay what you valued him at, 1.6million profit in 4 months, that'll do niceley

Charlie needs to be somewhere that creates loads of chances for him. That's not Sunderland so he won't go there.

Oh dear let's be honest Di Canio is not a stupid guy why would he go for Matt Ritchie 5 months after he signed for someone else. Ritchie is a good player but needs to prove himself at Championship level so if Sunderland stay up I can't see Di Canio swooping in for him.

UTC

We'll price Di Canio out like he did to us. What was it? 2.5 million!

Charlie Austin wants to be closer to home (Poole/Bournemouth area) but Hull and Sunderland would make his personal issues worse not better. So its a non starter

At no point has Charlie Austin said he wants to move south, he confirmed last week he's happy where he is and will only leave for premiership football that ruling out ballmouth, if he going anywhere south then saints is his likely destination

At no point has Charlie Austin said he wants to move south, he confirmed last week he's happy where he is and will only leave for premiership football that ruling out ballmouth, if he going anywhere south then saints is his likely destination

As a cherries fan i'm hoping we don't run before we can walk in the transfer market we shouldn't go out and spend lots of money it's not sustainable

It's got to be double of di canio valuation because we in the championship now so 4-5m should do

Charlie Austin don't want to head south and is only viewing houses in Poole area to keep his girlfriend happy. Does that make you happier?
So no premier league team comes in for him and he stays til next year. That will cost Burnley £££££££££'s.
Wake up dude!

How do you know it will cost burnley money? Have you been looking into your crystal ball again? For all you know austin could stay at burnley this season and burnley could get promoted! Then i'm sure austin would want to stay, Who knows look at reading last season no 1 predicted that. Anything is possible apart from austin signing for bournemouth! He said he would only leave burnley for premiership football and bournemouth don't fit in to this category

And it wouldn't cost us that much if that was the case anyway because we paid 1 million for him, I think the majority of burnley fans would rather have 20-30 goals nxt season and him to go for nothing rather than sell him now for a lower sum because he's into the last year of his contract, even dyche has publicly stated that burnley don't need to sell austin!

Well it could be investment property or any other reason. The point is he will not be returning to Bournemouth so get off your high horse.

But the ritchie rumours came true and charlie austin said he wants to play under eddie howe and jason tindall and who do they manage bournemouth!!! so wake up

Ok Ok so am I missing somethin here or are all bournemouth fans just mad? when did austin say that he wants to play for eddie and jason again? don't think he's said anything of the sort otherwise it would be back page headlines over this way! Posting crap on here 24/7 ain't gona make austin suddenly want to play for bournemouth so I don't know why you bother with your utter drivel!

13 May 2013 23:59:45
Stoke are looking to bid for Brighton Trio for £10 million after their recent play-off loss to crystal palace.

Will Buckley
Ashley Barnes
Liam Bridcutt

Along with Gus Poyet

I don't really know anything about these players but assume they are all 6ft plus and leave their feet in when challenging - in which case, they'll be great for Stoke!

14 May 2013 11:49:49
Well Ashley Barnes is useful with his elbows so he would fit in with Stoke. Bridcutt is out of contract, so don't know where the £10m comes from. very generous of Stoke I would say!

Id take 10 million for those 3 based on last nights performance.

BRIDCUTT IS NOT OUT OF CONTRACT!

Bridcutt wouldn't go to stoke; he likes passing football

Bridcutt IS out of contract. He only signed a 2 year deal in 2011

15 May 2013 08:18:45
Why would Stoke want 3 Brighton players? Have a day off

Bridcutt is NOT out of contract, he signed a 2 year extension in 2013. Stop getting rumours from football manager!
