Neil Warnock to take the Director of Football role at Plymouth Argyle with Keith Curle taking over as Manager from John Sheridan.

Hope keith curle takes the crap he brought at notts county

Why would he go to a club who are relegation material season after season

^ Because next season is the turning point for Argyle. They're in play-off form at the moment, next season we will be aiming high in the league. There have been lessons learnt by Argyle over the last couple of seasons so now Argyle will be on the up for next season. Neil Warnock believes Argyle have Premier League potential with the fan base it has and the outside plans for Argyle with the new Grandstand

West Brom will make an audacious move for Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis this summer as a replacement for the out going Romelu Lukaku. Gomis is seen as being the ideal replacement for Lukaku and has been identified for a summer move as he enters the last year of his contract. West Brom will look to fund the move with some of the new TV money given to Premier League clubs from next season as well as any money gained from the sale of want-away star Peter Odemwingie.

Although Gomis has previously been linked with big moves to Chelsea and Liverpool, he has lost his place in Lyon's starting line up on occasions this season and, at the age of 27, is looking to finally make the move to England. Gomis is willing to move to a mid table club as a stepping stone in his career, having seen international compatriot Loic Remy enhance his own reputation with a similar move to Championship bound QPR.

He was heavily linked with Fulham i'm January and may still come to us but I think he will be in the premier league next year with a mid table club

I would love this to be true but I can't see it happening.

Lukaku was linked to fulham but never went

Brentford to raid Arsenal's Academy and sign 3 players from the Gunners' U-21 set up; not sure of the names however but am told deals all but done.

15 Apr 2013 19:06:29
Shrewsbury set to appoint Danny Wilson as new manger in the summer. According to rumors that Roland Wycherly will step down due to ill health and a new investor will come in reportly putting 5 Million or more into the club.

16 Apr 2013 11:41:58
Maybe the moaning Graham Turner will shupt up then if he gets a bit of money. The bloke is always moaning when other clubs have a bit and moans its not fair. Well i'm afraid Turner there are a lot of things that are unfair and let's face Shrewsbury are a small club and always will be.

High profile manager with track record of no lower league promotions and "leaving after a run of poor form". What can possibly go wrong?

We have a great track record with high profile job hopping managers - Asa Hartford, John Bond, Simpson, Peters, etc. - I think I'd rather give Mr Turner another year and some cash to see what he can do.

See no future with Wilson - his track record speaks for itself.
Would be nice to get some cash in from something other than sales; but let's not destroy the club in the process.

Michel Vorm met with Barcelona represantatives over the weekend while on holiday there, with Valdes looking increasingly likely to leave in the summer, they see Vorm as the perfect player to replace him.

15 Apr 2013 18:17:28
Alan Pardew is in Bradford talking to Phil Parkinson about possibly loaning striker Adam Campbell to Bradford for all next season, if Nahki Wells goes. Watford, Sheffield Wednesday and even Sunderland have been linked with the Bermudian. Di Canio was a big admirer of Wells when he was Swindon boss.

Are you serious? Pardew will be sacked at the end of season, so he can talk with no one about Campbell. And I hope Campbell will stay. Or loan in Championship, not in League two. He is too good for that.

Pardew won't get sacked, he has an 8 year contract, it would cost a fortune to get rid of him.

15 Apr 2013 18:08:05
Newcastle right back Danny Simpson is a target for Swansea City as they are set to let Dwight Tiendalli go.

I'd rather keep tiendelli

He isn't, the reason Tiendalli is leaving is to allow Jazz Richards a larger role in the first team which is why he is on loan to Crystal Palace at the moment to gain experience

He is! ^

The main reason for not giving Tiendali a contract is to make room in the squad for another overseas player. Richards has had mixed reports at palace, his defensive displays have been iffy so it is a possibility

15 Apr 2013 12:30:23

Marcus Tudgay in talks with conventry about a summer transfer

We have no money why carnt people get that {Ed034's Note - he could be on a free and he is looking for first team football. I wold expect him to go to lower championship though

15 Apr 2013 15:29:04
Chesterfield to sign Conor McCormack from league of ireland team Shamrock Rovers as Paul Cook looks to use his contacts in Ireland to strengthen his chesterfield team for the new season.

Doubt we can afford him, got 12-18 months left on contract, well saught after player and still young, probably financially out of towns reach, be a class signing though!

No one on contract will be coming to Chesterfield they will spend nil on transfers

Craig Noone is to return to Brighton next season on loan. Source: tv sport

Let's see how he performs first before deciding to loan him out. He deserves a chance. assuming we get promoted, of course.

Redbird

15 Apr 2013 20:45:39
What the. No! BRIGHTON is too good for him. Er, I mean that he is to go for Brighton of course!
Forest Fan

No one won't get in our side we got better midfielders

15 Apr 2013 15:10:19
Brighton boss Gus Poyet has told press that he his working hard to bring a 'popular face'
back to the club. He has not mentioned a name but implied that he has managed him before at
The Albion.

Elliot Bennett?

It must be Bennett

Bennett or Zamora because qpr will want to get rid of him when they go down

Bennett, noone, Murray?

It's not Murray, he said popular.

Bennett Murray or Zamora (Zamora most likely)

Cant be Zamora as poyet never managed him at Brighton so check your facts

19 Apr 2013 09:04:15
I'm hearing that it is Craig Noone on a season long loan deal as part of a transfer deal with Will Buckley going to Cardiff for a £2m deal.

Er no will buckley going noware expesialy for 2 million. not if zaha worth 15 mill and besides he just signed a new deal just over 30 days ago . utter nonsence

15 Apr 2013 12:53:43
Walsall's Will Grigg And Febian Brandy Will Join Middlesborough in The Summer. Grigg 21 And Brandy 23, are Both Out of contract And a deal looks to be agreed. However part of the deal will bring former saddler Emanuel Ledesma back to Midlands ona season long loan.

Oh good, yet another club who are about to sign Grigg!

Grigg said he is staying

With Borough's track record, why would either of them want to go to join Middlesbrough if they are so sought after - and spend most of the season on the bench. If Ledesma returned, how long would he stay this time!

No way!! ledesma would not be welcome back by the fans or the manager there are much bigger clubs than boro after grigg

15 Apr 2013 14:26:47
Bad news for Swans fans as Michel Vorm was rumored to be seen in Barcelona

If the price is right not really bad news. Tremmels a good keeper

15 Apr 2013 13:43:37
Burton Albion strikers Calvin Zola and Matt Paterson to be offered long term deals. Coventry/Rotherham are chasing Zola and Bournemouth/Notts County and Portsmouth want Paterson.

Jacques Maghoma will leave the Pirelli at the end of the season. Coventry City and Ipswich Town are currently interested.

Gary Rowett will also offer Anthonly O'Connor a long term deal if a deal with Blackburn can be done.

15 Apr 2013 16:28:52
The chances of Coventry signing anyone for money is pretty remote. They are in administration and under a transfer embargo

Bournemouth are not interested we're going championship and have 6 better strikers

Why afcb need league2 strikers when we have money for class proven forwards

No! Bournemouth do not have the money to buy anybody. The owners do! If they clear off then who will pay the wages? Look at Portsmouth, Birmingham, Blackburn!

You could say that about any football club you tuna!

This is what really gets me down about football clubs - we don't need L2 strikers - open your eyes, you are on a fantastic run up the Leagues but you could quite as easily end up all the way back down - you are not a big club, a decent club yes, but if your Russian money runs what then? If any striker is playing well and scoring goals then every club will be looking at them, regardless of what League they are in - slow down AFCB you are not and never will be one of the big boys.

Maghoma will join Coventry City, nailed on. Paterson will turn down BIG Bournemouth and sign for local club Portsmouth. Anthony O'Connor will sign a five year deal with Albion as a deal has been struck with Blackburn. UTBs

Hope paterson doesn't come back to afcb, he didn't do a lot for us last time did he not? plus we don't really need him, its not about us being a 'big' club but more about us having too many strikers.

I wish you lot would get off our cases about our money. Just because this is a false rumour and we are not looking doesn't mean we are big time. In the words of lethal bizzle. Leeeeave it yeah

Who says bournemouth don't have money we spent 800,000 on tubbs 550,000 on richie 300,000 on allsop 650,000 on fraser that adds up to 2.3 mill. plus rest of team for instence pitman, grabbon, pugh, daniels, francis,
elphic, cook, arter, o'kane and mcquid that is a lot all of those worth over 500,000.

17 Apr 2013 11:19:28
Di canio wants to bring ritchie to sunderland could be a sure sales ritchie has expressed his desire to play in the prem

I don’t believe we spent anything like 800k for Tubbs, that was just speculation. Ritchie was about 400k, Allsop free, Fraser 400k, Pitman 60k, Daniels, Elphick, Cook, O’Kane were I think I’m right in saying 170k each. Arter not a lot and unsure about McQuoid. So a little over £2mil. People love to shout about the money we’re spending, but conveniently ignore that fact we’d sold almost an entire team for £4mil. I’m not saying our Russian friend isn’t putting substantial monies into the club, but MORE is spent OFF the pitch than on, although IF we gain promotion I’m sure that will change, a new stand will be built however. It’s the “Green Eye” of others that are making out we’re something we’re not. We’re still Little Old Bournemouth, and all fans know the pitfalls that COULD happen. Happy Days :)

Everyone's envy of bmth all of a sudden makes me laugh, have you all forgotten we have been punching above our weight for 15 years with no money

Sorry, but a lot of that isn't correct. Fraser was reported at between £300,000 and £400,000 (never £650,000). Allsop was a free agent (short-term contract expired at Orient) and Arter was hardly an expensive purchase - the FA set his transfer figure from Woking at something like £4,000!

Patterson sign for loacl club Pompey. seeing as he was born in Dunfermline i'm not sure how Pompey are his local club!

This is a rumours Page for coventry. Save all the other tosh for your own pages. {Ed025's Note - this is the main site, not the coventry page!!!

18 Apr 2013 07:50:01
Tubbs is going in the summer also ritchie is wanted by sunderland he will go as he has expressed his disire to play in the prem

Di Cano rated Ritchie at 12 million, time for PDC to put his money where his mouth is! Don't expect to see AFCB accept a bid of anything less than 2.5 million

What's with this tosh about Ritchie wants to play prem he said championship must be small club swindon town fans on a wind up

15 Apr 2013 11:00:02
Trotter off to qpr according to tv

Uncle Albert?

Redknapp was at the Sheffield Wednesday game last week but trotter was out injured mick McCarthy was also there and apparently were both keeping an eye on England under 21 star Adam smith he was also left out of the side but knows Harry from his time at spurs

What a plonker

QPHAHA will be a selling club this summer not a buying one

15 Apr 2013 10:23:08
Brighton Summer ins:
Virgil Van Djik (Gronegien) -2m
Wayne Bridge (Man City) - Free
Matthew Upson (Stoke) - Free
Javi Lopez (Espanyol) - 2m
Henri Lansbury (Nottingham Forrest) - 1.5m

Outs:
Barnes (Millwall) - 1m
Crofts (Charlton) - 500k
Dobbie (Crystal Palace) -750k

No chance of getting Lansbury and for that price, you're having a laugh!

Barnes is out of contract anyway. So good luck in getting £1m for him

Barnes will stay and crofts

Lopez is a very good call

If only that would come true it would be great for BHA.

Millwall haven't got 1 million to spend on players

Do none of the posters on here know that if a player is under 23 and out of contract, there is STILL a fee involved?! Look it up will you! It will go to a tribunal.

Upson has been so rubbish so you can have him

Ive just drove past the amex in brighton and there unvealing a statue of ian holloway. it turns out he's quiet a legend down there

Millwall have made over 1. 75 million in the cup run alone. Mind you, probably get a hefty fine aswell.

Two decent strikers for next season please KJ? Hulse, Tyson'OUT' Please!

Lansbury is valued at £1.3m (pound sterling) {Ed034's Note - only by a website. You havnt got a clue what the forest owners would want for him

^^umm is ulloa bad then^^

Sheffield United are lining up Colchester manager Joe Dunne to be their new manager. Dunne will not be approached until the summer and apparently impressed the United board with his battling spirit of steering the Essex club away from relegation.

Joe Dunne bleeds Blue and White, so more likely Sheffeild Wednesday

Even as a Colchester fan, this would be a disastrous appointment for Sheffield United. Dunne hasn't steered Colchester away from relegation yet, and he is a large part of why we find ourselves in such a poor league position. He is vastly out of his depth at Colchester, so imagine how inept he'd be at a big club such as Sheffield United.

Never going to happen Bryan Robson to take over at Sheff United in the summer

Who needs rivals when your own fans are this moronic?

dunne has done a good job of clearing out deadwood, and is forward thinking. given a couple of years and he will produce a squad and club ethos that see us playing some superb football and producing many more of our own players.

15 Apr 2013 09:14:18
crystal palace will sign sylvan ebanks blake from wolves if they are relegated

Interesting considering SEB is out for the next six months at least.

Sean O'Driscoll to become Director of Football at Bristol City with Steve Cotterell coming in as manager for next season

Nonsence.

15 Apr 2013 01:14:50
evander sno is set to make a dramatic return to bristol city. sean o'driscolltried to sign him for doncaster when his loan with city expired before.

According to wiki sno has had two on field heart attacks and wears a pacemaker! I don't know if he would be a good signing for division 1

14 Apr 2013 23:51:09
With Scunthorpe looking likely to be relegated, Ronnie Moore will offer Akpo Sodje the chance to continue playing League One football next season. Moore likes a target man and Sodje fits the bill.

15 Apr 2013 01:31:20
I av heard simon Grayson wanted him back at preston as he looks for that missing link up front

14 Apr 2013 23:43:41
There are whispers about young striker Billy Kee joining Preston in the summer, but much is likely to depend on whether or not Burton manage to get promoted.

Cant see it Grayson will go for prem loans or championship players

These "Whispers". do you keep hearing them in your head?

Is Billy the Kee to Preston's success? I can see that headline.

14 Apr 2013 23:56:01
Neil Warnock will return to a club he knows well, Plymouth, in a role supporting manager John Sheridan and the playing side of things as a hole at the club.

15 Apr 2013 22:27:40
I cannot believed guy Branson's comments on Jason banton maybe plymouth do have players who put in more effort but it's the ones who have the flare and score goals that win games let's face it where would argyle be without batons goals.

Get over it. John Sheridan said the same a few weeks back, why isn't everyone having a go at him? It's true. Banton does need to work harder. Surely, if he wants to improve, he will take the criticism on board and work on it instead of moaning about it and just listening to the people praising him. Yes, fair enough, he's done amazing here to get the goals but just take the bad points on board and work on them to improve your game.
