Mark Gower is to shortly join Gillingham on loan to add some much needed experience in the middle of the park, the Gills are also hoping to bring one more attacking player to compete with the rest of the forwards at the club.

It would be good for your club, but can't see this happening, but mark has house and family within 20 miles.

Doncaster to sign Gary Madine on loan

True, him bennet and cotteril live together, so he would fit straight in

They don't live together :/

Bennett and madine are room mates, and he has tweeted cottrill that it would be a pleasure to join him and Bennett at rovers, but as normal seems like rovers are penny pinching wanting it on the cheap again, in my view its lackin ambition considering they want me to renew my season ticket soon then need show me I should

Madine and Bennett are flatmates but not Cotterill

gary madene to sign on loan frm the owls

Afc Bournemouth have completed the loan signing of Marcos Painter from Brighton.

15 Feb 2013 18:24:35
Watford in for another loan deal but this someone from England. Aston villas Jordan Bowery has shown a lot of promise and started for villa just last week. Lambert wants to give him some experience and sees being in a promotion fight will give him that.

Why would we want a player who only scored 10 goals for Chesterfield in 80-something games? We have 4 better strikers, and we're more likely to play Lloyd Doyley up front than sign Jordan Bowery on loan.

Lamberts looking for a winning team to change their fortunes. Can't see him loaning a player out so soon after starting him.

15 Feb 2013 18:18:23
Young Argyle keeper, Christian Walton, has joined Brighton for an undisclosed fee plus add ons. Good luck to him, he's gone to a decent club. Bryher Pilgrim

It's no longer a rumour, confirmed by PAFC & BHA, Good luck to him but would prefer we hold on to our best young players. Shortsighted in my view. Oh well.

15 Feb 2013 14:53:25
Ipswich have offered a contract to Killmarnock 'keeper Cammy Bell.

Total lies, please get your facts correct. thank you.

No they haven't! MM says it's all lies.

18 Feb 2013 20:39:33
Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy has stated the he has not made approach for GK Cammy Bell.

Cant you get some cream for a Cammy Bell?

Jam more like. ha, ha.

15 Feb 2013 11:57:07
Derby have made an approach to sign Brighton defender Marcos Painter on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent deal.

Signed for bournemouth

He's joined Bournemouth on loan

15 Feb 2013 14:31:18
Former Marseille and Bolton defender Abdoulaye Meite is in talks with three clubs after his release in the summer from French side Dijon.
League 1 play off contenders Yeovil Town have already offered the 32 year old a six motn deal in order to shore up his back four for hopefully a longer season with the play offs.
Walsall, who could also be in contention for the same spots and League 2 strugglers Plymouth Argyle are also keen on the big defender.

15 Feb 2013 17:47:50
He's a liability. guranteed a howler every game

16 Feb 2013 16:04:51
Dan Burn is streets ahead of this guy

15 Feb 2013 11:41:21
Coventry have got a four man list to take over mark robins - simon Grayson, graham turner, gregg abbot or phil brown believed to be mentioned

Nigel Adkins is just the man to take them up.

15 Feb 2013 19:19:49
Graham Turner will not leave the Shrews as he is due to become Director of Football there

I think we should get bradford's manager to get us to wembley.

John pemberton for managers job

15 Feb 2013 11:30:27
Mkdons looking to sign Aston Villas young forward Graham Burke on loan till the end of the season.

15 Feb 2013 11:29:16
Rochdale will sign Joe Thompson of tranmere on loan for the rest of the season today with the option to buy in the summer!

Would be good for rochdale and him he's never really settled at tranmere with injuries and his girlfriend giving birth it threw him off and he didn't perform good player though!

Why would rochdale want to sign a player currently out injured with a dead leg

Please don't sign him Keith you will lose a lot of fans if you do the man has no bottle

Well this hasn't happened.

15 Feb 2013 11:19:19
Donal McDermott to join Oxford from Bournemouth on a 93 day loan today. Will be in squad tomorrow.

Oxford will have a very good player, he's been hit and miss for us in the little game time he has had but has bags of talent and potential if his head is right. A fresh challenge might be good. Wish him luck AFCB

Good player with poor attitude, might need a loan move to reignite his bournemouth career. there is no doubt that if he had the right attitude he'd be one of bournemouth's best players.

15 Feb 2013 10:45:09
a number of clubs looking at free agent Abdoulaye Méïté including Mkdons, Peterborough and Sheffield UTD

Too old for Posh. Also the wages will be too high and we don't need another CB

15 Feb 2013 10:39:42
Gary Johnson has been linked with the Coventry job, though no approach has yet been made.

Would love gary johnson ain't going to happen though he's at his beloved yeovil with 2 stints under his manergerial belt and yeovil are definitely going to make play offs if not autos so there's no way he'd leave not even for a better financial position as cov and yeovil are on about same par when it comes to funds so that rumour is a load of dogs dangleys

15 Feb 2013 10:30:10
MK dons looking to re-sign wba midfielder scott allen on loan till the end of the season.

Unlikely. We already have Ryan Harley and Chris Lines on loan. And with Potter and the recent return of Chadwick, I don't think we need him this season.

Allen can play wide though. And is better there than in the middle of the park. He'll be more of a back up for Powell than a central midfielder.

17 Feb 2013 14:47:47
With that defending we aren't no where good enough for the championship anyway, shocking

Lewington - shocking and gave up for their second. Ostenobor at fault for 3rd - too slow and poor all round. Smith balltled well but wish Powell would run at defenders more often. Would have won thegame or a replay if we had a top goal scorer. League 1 again for sure next year with smaller and half the squad we had this year

Next season will be far more painful than this, be prepared for a relegation battle after the squad gets dismantled in the summer with the better players wanting to go or needing to be sold so Winkelman can put an extension on a shopping centre and celebrate that instead of promotion. We love you Pete! We really do. :-)

18 Feb 2013 22:35:11
We are becoming a laughing stock, we are never going to get out of lg 1, changes needed all round, a manager with experience, would love Nigel Atkins, but we have little chance of getting anyone decent in at this rate,

This is a football rumours forum not a chance to put your garbage about the team display last Saturday. Go on a forum for that please. {Ed003's Note - football rumours evolve into whatever people want to talk about,as long as it isn't stupid we are bigger than you arguments what's your problem?}

19 Feb 2013 16:55:26
So Brentford bring in bwf, Robinson says there will be no new faces coming in for the rest of the season, just shows the lack of ambition from our club, there's only one way we will be going & that's down, so annoyed with the club at the minute, I've decided not to buy my son his first mk kit

Soory if you think it is garbage but having a discussion about our performance and what has lead to it with lack of signings is interesting to a few MK Fans - if not you then don't read it.

"We are becoming a laughing stock, we are never going to get out of lg 1, changes needed all round, a manager with experience, would love Nigel Atkins, but we have little chance of getting anyone decent in at this rate"

Well said. I couldn't agree more, but Adkins? He'd laugh at us. He'd know Winkelman's form, no money and high expectations. More miracles on the cheap. Mr. Adkins would have more sense than take the poison chalice job that is our club. Anyway, wouldn't be prepared to pay for him in a million years. He'd rather get in some obscure youth coach on the minimum wage. Oh wait, we did that already! What a joke!

19 Feb 2013 23:33:09
It was wishfull thinking, I no we don't part with money, I'm surprised winklemen hasn't added a Pizza Hut to the car park though

19 Feb 2013 23:39:53
What's the point in doing the top tier when we don't even get half the crowd to fill the bottom tier? Invest in the team, get promoted then attract new supports maybe, then think about that kind of stuff after, I' really don't think winklemens taken us in the right direction, we need some investment elsewhere to come in & maybe work alongside, but I no that isn't going to happen,

Young Portsmouth striker/winger Ashley Harris is to be shown the door in the summer, a close friend of his has confirmed that he will not be offered a new deal. Harris has not made the impact the coaching staff had expected him to after showing much promise in his breakthrough season. Meanwhile expect Wallace, Butler and Webster all to sign new deals before the season is out.

I expect everyone is going to be shown the door in the summer when the club is wound up lol

Harris is young and a bit inconsistent but there is no way the club will simply release him. What needs to happen is for the coaches to work on his game, which they will during the summer.

Utter rubbish. Ashley Harris is a fan favourite and a very intelligent footballer. Just needs some work. He will sign along with the others, or we will try for a cash sale.

Dont be stupid, why would Guy get rid of Harris, for a start he needs the players and second once the takeover has gone though the future of the club is though the youth players and academy, these are the players that pompey what to bring though. just because Harris isn't having a great game all the time does not mean he isn't up to it. don't forget he and the others (Webster, Butler etc) are still young and were never meant to brake into the first team this early. but needs must. they will get better.

He will ALWAYS be offered a new deal. Even if he turns it down, we will be entitled to compensation when he signs for a new club due to his age.

Just another player to loan out next year so another journeyman can join the club, if he shows any form the PST will sale as they don't have the funds to avoid another admin in a years time.

Harris clearly is not good enough, you all defend him because he is young and from Pompey. He is not going to be a first teamer, only time he looks productive is a 10 minute cameo off the bench. Open your eyes.

17 Feb 2013 13:08:53
Pfc fans want them all to stay so there. If so he would not sell them

17 Feb 2013 13:11:22
Carlisle coach has been charged 20 pounds for parking at fratton park!is this a joke?

The carlisle coach was charged 20 pounds as well as 2 of the portsmouth buses. It was the administrators, not the club

The Car Park does not belong to the football club but to former owner sacha Gaydamak, and it was his administrators not the clubs administrators who imposed the charges, just another opportunity to kick a club when its down

To be fair. I'm a Pompey fan. People get all excited about Harris because he is young and home grown.

He is never going to make the grade as a player who can start games. You name a game he has started in and played well?

Its simple you can't.

Give him a chance, he's only a kid you can't write him off this early in his career

Dont judge him yet how things are at the moment

Tyrone mears to barnsley

BARNSLEY NO 2 BALL COME ON YOU REDS EVEN EVERTON AFTER WHAT I've SEEN TONIGHT ED NEXT THE WOLVES

15 Feb 2013 01:04:18
the job at preston is between owen coyle and simon grayson both men have held talks with the club and both will have more talks this friday

Paul Dickov will be new Preston Manager in the next 24 hrs

15 Feb 2013 10:26:19
For me Coyle just has the edge but would be happy with either of them. Anyone after Westley has to be an improvement. More important is a win tomorrow, big ask but possible if the players are given freedom to play.

Coyle please

I hope it ain't dickov, he's not really done a lot although he signed some good players for oldham

16 Feb 2013 01:35:30
Well PNE FANS Mr Grayson will get you back in the championship go for him from a HTFC fan.

He might, but mr snodin more like a meeter & greeter, never seen him on sat with work gear on.

Paul Ince set to be unveiled as Blackpool boss tomorrow on a 22 month rolling contract {Ed003's Note - New one but I guess you made a typo and mean 12?}

Must be a typo - we haven't offered a manager beyond 12 months rolling since I were knee high to the temporary East Stand.

Bad appointment tbh he has no quality to be a manager he did no good at wolves and he didn't do well at notts county I think its the end for us now if we get him

Paul ince will be manager at about 10 on saturday. Thommo taking charge as normal tommorw and ince will began work on monday. Thommo to be kept on as assistant.

He was a player at wolves and he was very succesful at mkdons 60% win rate and 40 spmthing percent in his second spell. He will deffently be able to get us in the prem in two years maxiunim

Micheal appleton says one reason he left pool was becausehe found it diffclut. How can you find somthing diffclut after only two months. Glad we got rid off him and hopefully ince will take the job and take us to the promise lamd just like good old ollie.

Recall kevin phillips ince

He won't get us promoted its time for division 1 he's a bad manager

Great appointment if it comes off! UTMP

Why are people being negtive about our new manager who is a former england captain and won the premier league a few times. What had appleton done managed in league 1 with pompy and had a little playing carear ruined by injury. don't be negtive about paul he will be brillant and if you only have somthing negtive to say don't say it. Negtive attitude won't get us anywhere but postive attiude and looking up will get us where we want to be. COME ON THE MIGHTY POOL. IN THE INCE FAIMLY (tom and paul) WE BELIVE. BLACKPOOL

Why are people saying ince is a terrianle manager. He failed in the prem but rember were in the championship. Every other club he has managed he has had at least a 40% win rate. So how can he be a bad manager he has better win rates than ollit

Well obviously it will be a good appointment if it comes off, but it will be a bad appointment if it does not come off! Am I being logical?

Why are people saying were fighting relgation. Their is ten teams below us and only three go down. Stop being negtive and think postive so we can achive at least a top ten finish.
