Just trying to quell the Villa to Liverpool rumours. A while ago, I read an interview with him on a Dutch website, and in that interview, he explicitly said that he thought he'd never settle in an other country, so he would never leave Spain. Dream all you want, but he won't come to Liverpool. Why would he. He's at a great team already. Furthermore, to the guy that said Vela isn't rated highly at Arsenal, you're obviously not serious. Vela is rated as high or higher than Bendtner, and ultimately is the reason why Stokes was sold. Furthermore, I've heard via my contacts that Tristan Plummer, a youngster from Bristol, is on his way to Arsenal.
Everton to sign joey barton for £3. 75m + S. Davies in the summer also heard S. Hunt of Reading will be siging aswell with pistone going the other way. also tim howard will sign permenantly, with United clearing money still owed for Rooney sale.
Alan Smith&Robbie Fowler to Rangers. Harewood to Villa. Southend's Eastwood to Celtic instead of Horsfield.
Is it just me ? Or is anyone else fed up with Arsene Wenger getting all shirty and throwing the toys out, when things go wrong and all smug and overbearing when it goes right? Do you think they teach Kipling in France? Particularly the part about treating success and defeat in the same manner.
My transfer rumour is more of a wish for Mr Aggression to join Peter Crouch, Mr Composure to visit Mark Gonzalez and Jermaine Pennant and Mr Concentration to give Jean-Arne Riise a gentle nudge. That aside, the future is looking bright, (not orange) at Anfield. Orange would be better than that awfully anaemic yellow away strip btw.
If affordable, my summer wish list would include . Micah Richards, Gareth Bale and 2 or 3 coming through the ranks into the first team squad. There is less of a chance of a poor start to next season if there are not too many new faces. It cannot be a coincidence that after buying 5 or 6 new players each summer the team fails to find it`s feet every August and September.

Charlton have made an approach for Arsenal GK Manuel Almunia, who is allowed to leave due to the imminent arrival of Jens Lehmann's long-term replacement Carlos Kameni, who will join from Espanyol in the summer. Mart Poom may be sub keeper until then if Almunia decides to move on. Also, Arsenal are willing to sell Emanuel Adebayor on for a large profit, with Juventus the most likely suitors.
I have it on good authority that one of the players Glenn Roeder is on about when saying "making enquiries" about is Ronaldo of Real Madrid. He is availble on the cheap as Capello has stated that he is not in his plans and could therefore could be bought at a cut price of £5m. The same is been said about Cassano, however their enormous wages may be a big factor.
Bolton defender Tal Ben Haim on his way to West Ham. Bolton will give West Ham £3m and Ben Haim for Reo-Coker. Expect the deal to be done towards the end of the month.
As Wenger said we probably won't bring any big names in until the summer. However he has not completely switched off his scouting radar. Wenger wants to have the world's best players for the future whilst they're inexpensive. Possible acquisitions are Tomas Holy, Niklas Penttila, Gilles Sunu, Jack Rodwell, Igor Akinfeev, Scott Carson, Aaron Niguez Escaplez, Gio Dos Santos, Bojan Krkic, Nicolas Millan, Jean Carlos Chera, Nikon Jevtic, James McCarthy, Victor Moses, Ze Mario and Guillerminho. Believe me these guys are going to be ten times better than todays crop.
Alan Pardew is set to cash in on Darren Bent for around £8. 5 million. It is believed that West Ham and Tottenham are after the striker as are Aston Villa and Liverpool.

Man Utd Rumours
MU to test Bayern's resolve one more time with a 16mil bid. If its rejected they will go for Rio Mavuba. Matty Taylor will be signed to replace giggs. If the deal dosent happen expect David bentley to come to Utd to slot in at e right.
Rafael Benitez is going to bring a big Spanish striker to Liverpool but not David Villa. He will bring 29 year old Real Madrid and Spain captain, Raul to Anfield on a 3 year deal at the end of the season. Benitez will keep Dirk Kuyt and Craig Bellamy but Peter Crouch could be on his way. Djibril Cisse will definitely go whilst Robbie Fowler is likely to end his stay. Benitez is also in the frame for another striker and Klaas Jan Huntelaar is one name being mentioned, whilst there is now a chance of a Michael Owen comeback or a move for Tottenham striker, Jermain Defoe. Benitez is interested in a swap deal for Djibril Cisse + Cash for Frank Ribery and he is also set to sign Mascherano, Neill and Baines soon.

I am 75% sure that West Brom are chasing Nottingham Forest duo Chris Commons and Nathan Tyson. Tyson is seen to be a ideal replacement for wantaway Diomansy Kamara I beleive they are lining a £3. 2 million bid for the too Forest men who beleive Forest aren't good enough for the Championship regarding they get promoted at the end of the season.
Spain rumourspaper say Julián de Guzmán will sign for West Bromwich Albion FC of the English championship of Divison 1 for €3m. De Guzman plays at defensive midfield for Canadá y Deportivo de La Coruña in La Liga.
Plymouth Argyle are seeking the signature of either Oldham striker Chris Porter or MK Dons hotshot Izale MacLoed. They have had offers for both players accepted, with Porter's believed to be at £600, 000 and Mcloed's around £750, 000, rising to £1 million dependant on appearances.
Porter is seemed to favour a move to the South coast rather than Mcloed, but both players have been offered contracts and have been told by Argyle manager Ian Holloway to make thyeir minds up by Friday this week. Both players are expected to be at Home Park on Tuesday for their FA Cup replay against Peterborough.
Argyle stopper Romain Larrieu is to complete a loan move to South coast rivals Torquay this week, where he will remain until the end of the season, with the Pilgrims having a 24-hour emergency recall option on the deal.
Extraordinarily, the Pilgrims have made an audacious loan swoop for Arsenal youngster Jeremie Aliadiere. The youngster is wanted by a host of clubs, but it is thought the Pilgrims are the only club willing to pay all of the youngsters wages while on loan at the South coast club.

Lets be realistic, Kewell isn't going anywhere, Rafa has stuck by Kewell thus ar with his injuries, and Rafa is an fan of Kewell. With Garcia injured and Gonzales having spasmodic form, he is not going to sell his best left winger.
Crouch seems to be 'suffering' under Rafa's new signings Kuyt and Bellamy, easily favouring both even though Crouch is scoring goals.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him go, as there is a fair amount of cash following him (NUFC) giving Rafa some financial leverage to buy a more 'traditional' striker.
Expect Lucas N to come, and Warnock will not be going the other way, as Rafa rejected a Lucas N swap deal with Warnock during the season break, unless Blackburn offer Lucas plus cash.
I'd like to see Torres, Villa, Alves, Bastian, Javier M, SWP. But realistically guys, most of Rafa's cash is going to have to come from selling players, Crouch, Cisse etc. Which would enable LFC to buy one top quality player. However Rafa will keep his team together, as chopping and changing the team radically will not help them stay 3rd, or beat Barca to progress in the CL.
Expect Dudek to leave, with the new Italian Keeper and Carson to Challenge Reina in the future, especially with Dudek having let in 30% of Liverpool's conceded goals in his 3 games this season.
LFC are looking for: Right winger, left wing cover, Right Back cover, Striker, centre back cover. Expect most of these cover players to be more youth/ developement players. Rafa seems to be hinting at starting his own youth development system, much akin to what Wenger did ten years ago, which is now 'showing its fruit'.
With Chelsea going to tear themselves apart, when Mourinho leaves at the end of the season, expect Rafa to be saving his pennies for pinching a few disgruntled Chelsea players, as a new manager will shake up the team sheet, and sell of unwanted players, while being given a large transfer budget.

Before I submit my rumour, I would like to stress that this is what I hear. I'm not claiming to be a friend of Jose Mourinho or that I have shares in a club or any other waffle that people come out with on this website. Apparently, Tottenham manager Martin Jol will be juggling around with his forwards before the transfer window closes. Mido has struggled in a big way since signing permanently from Roma in the summer, while Robbie Keane will request a transfer in search of guarenteed first team football. West Brom's wantaway striker Nathan Ellington could emerge as a surprise target.
Jose Mourinho wants Milan Baros from Aston Villa and Roman Abramovic will give him the go ahead next week - with Mourinho offering Shaun Wright-Phillips plus seeking cash in exchange. Mourinho will also sing Man City defender, Dunne in what will be his final signings as Chelsea manager.

I was in the ticket office at the Walkers Stadium to pick up the Fulham away match tickets, Rob Kelly came out of his car, followed by Matt Holland of Charlton Athletic. Holland has been mentioned in and around the Leicester City fans, and is probably Rob Kelly's number one target as soon as Mandaric completes his takeover at the club. It is believed the fee will be around £300, 000.

Strachan shall be stepping up his hunt for another striker and another midfielder. NAmes that have been mentioned for up front have been: Robbie Keane (mentioned EVERY transfer window) , Gow ( cheap option that can play in various positions) and Alfonso Youngaldinho (inspirational Brazilian frontman, work permit may be problem) .
Midfielders being looked at are Hayden Mullins (may be surplus if Curbishley gets his transfer targets) , Jonathan Greening, Ambrosini ( may prove to be too expensive, Italian players rarely leave their own league) and finally Zemmana (Young Moroccan has impressed Strachan with his flair and ability to carry the ball)

Leicester City are definately set to sign Charlton stand in skipper matthew holland for 500k and sign izale mclead for 500k and part exchange Alan sheehan. Leicester will try to loan craig Beattie from Celtic but will fail instead they will look to sign right winger danny invincible from Kilmarnock for an undisclosed fee.
LFC cleared up. The investment agreement is almost done, but that won't change the transfers coming in. Rafa is still watching the same people but now the transfers will just be made a little quicker. In are Neill, which will let Riise move to LMF alleviating the poor play in that position and giving Gonzalez more time to adjust to the English game. Mascherano is almost done and his presence (whether this round or after summer pending the FIFA decision) will allow for a strong rotation of the 4 CMFs throughout the long season. SWP will take over on the right. This will happen when Chelsea makes the deal sending SWP to Aston Villa for Baros. Aston Villa will in turn send SWP to LFC for Bellamy. Finally, LFC will bring in Darren Bent to fill Bellamys place. As you'll note, none of these are new players but players Rafa's been interested in for over a year.

If people are going to say Rangers will pay 500k for Weir then I wonder whhat you have been taking. Yes its true we want him but only on loan short term to we fin someone. We won't be paying £2m for Naysmith as we have a great young leftback in Stevie Smith. However we may make a move for James McFadden but will pay no more than £2m. I wouldn't call him a source etc but a friend at Kilmarnock has sayed Rangers and Tottenham are the front runners for Steven Naismith and both are willing to pay the £1m fee Killie want.
I was in Madrid on friday on business and on the flight back to London I got talking to a Spanish guy who was sitting next to me who claimed to work for Real, He told me that he had a meeting with Chelsea regarding the sale of Real player, I asked him who, but he wouldn't tell me, he also said that he was meeting with Liverpool regarding the sale of Raul and someone else, I asked him why he let slip one name and not the other 2 his answer was " He already is a Liverpool player " To be honest I thought he was just sum guy taking the ps, but after watching the Real v Zaragosa game, where Raul went off very early in the game, who knows????
Heard it here first, Hudderfield Town AFC to sign Leon Knight in exchange for Luke Beckett , Also going to sign Warren Feeney in exchange for Pawel Abbott. Geoff Horsefield will NOT sign for the Terriers as he would not be accepted by the fans do to his appearences for local rivals Leeds United. As for Martin McIntosh and Danny Adams leaving both to league 2 clubs there has been speculation wether Peter Jacxkson is going to sign Tom Newey from Grimsby Town. Also an unknown Championship Defender has been seen at the Galpharm holding talks with Mr Jackson himself, this has been rumoured to be Andrew Whing from Coventry City, but also reportedly a loan deal with sheff United for a defender as Peter Jackson recommended Jon Stead to Mr Warnock himself, this could be Chris Lucketti himself who used to be a favourite at the Galhparm stadium.
Liverpool will sign more youngsters during the January transfer window. Wigan leftback Leighton Baines is a target and Rafa will bid 6. 5mil to buy him. Rafa will finalise a deal for Scottish wonderkid James McCarthy, Argentine midfielder Leto and Oldham Athletic defender Neil Eardley.

West Ham will continue to rebuild during January, Lauren and Neil deals are almost done. Parker from Newcastle is a possibility if wages can be agreed, with Harewood going in the opposite direction. Even if Parker does arrive, NRC will go nowhere. The powers that be at UP intend to make an example of him and make him stay until the summer. The Hammers are also negotiating to sign a Centre back, apparently a big name but being kept very quiet to avoid the deal being hijacked. Mascherano will not leave until the summer, but will not play either due to huge appearance fees to MSI.
Luton have tabled bids for five players. This has come straight from the mouth of John Mitchell (Cheif Exec) who is a former Business Partner of mine and friend of the family.
