Bristol city are interested in signing Lee camp from Nottingham forest. The out of favour goalkeeper has been dropped from the first team and is likely to link up with his former manager in Sean O'Driscoll. Bristol city are also looking at defender kyle mcfadzean from crawley and have submitted a bit thought to be in the region of 550,000

Wolves are looking at Carlisle players, the main target was be-leaved to be lee miller but was also keeping an eye on young lad brad Potts. Although the player which caught his eye was Patty Robson a player who had played left back a week before, Playing in a forward three heading in his 7 goal of the season. Then he impressively helped out his team defensively acting as a back up fullback and alternating with Chris chantler when he went forward. He also nearly added to his tally late on with his chip from 25 yard beating the keeper but being stopped by the bar.
After half our team which is fighting for league one mid-table fair enough but doubt they'd get far in the championship

Couldn't quite decipher the first comment but I really hope this is true. We need to make a statement. QPR spent 30-odd million in the summer and yet are still sparing £8m+ for new strikers. I'm not saying we should or could spend money like that but we can't get left behind, if we're afraid to spend then quite frankly we don't deserve to say in the prem.

This would be so un-Reading like to invest so much in one player, hardly the Reading way of old, however there is plenty of speculation in Spain that this is indeed gaining momentum, together with reports in the English press also reporting that Stopilla Sunzu is als ready to put pen to paper in the next 48hrs, interesting times at the Madejski.
Not doubting Reading's profile as a club, but where did they suddenly get 10 million from?

Ok Ed heres the Middlesbrough update so far. Mowbray has is eyes open but nothing incoming is really planned for January. He's happy enough to have an injury free full squad. For starters George Friend is going nowhere, especially in January. What might change things on the incoming front is if there's a big earner leaves. The only real chance here are some of the early Strachan buys; McDonald (still on huge wages), Bailey (large wages contract running down - Tony wants him to stay), Thomson (large wages, very little impact) McManus (large wages, little impact). Emnes could depart if a £4 million offer come in. If any of the above leave the likely incomings are more budget buys from the lower leagues, Anthony Wordsworth, Jon Taylor are possibilities. The outside chances are Downing (unlikely but a small possibility) and Simon Cox (if McCleish wants a quick reshuffle and we've lost a big earner). that's it for now.
McManus, Thomson can leave now, waste of wages . Could sign 2 to 3 players with their wages .

Representatives of Hull City, have been working hard on a deal to bring John Guidetti to the club on loan for the rest of the season, to include a deal that if promoted he remains with the club to get the Premier League football experience.
The Allam's have backed Bruce already in the transfer market, and are signalling their intent again by offering a deal to pay all Guidetti's wages and a 250k fee to Man City.
This deal is apparently separate to the funds set aside to bring in Fraizer Campbell, those funds are to be taken from Bruce's summer budget like the deals for Meyler and Brady where.

Not at 32 I don't think. £50k not worth it for a 32 year old- not what Phil Parkinson is after. Just resigned a centre half on loa for another month. Got 2 permanent, 2 on loan, 2 injured with one coming back soon, as well as a midfielder who can play in defence don't see this happening really.

Get McFadzean and Carey together and we have a defence that are good at DEFENDING! rather than what DM was looking for and that was a footballing centre back! we need a tough robust centre half and Kyle is definitely that!

Jon Stead is out of contract at the end of the season and has been building a house near Huddersfield. He is being linked to a move to Hudderfield and Barnsley for £350,000. Barsley sold their striker and are looking for a well known striker on a budget of £350,000.
