Some real rumours for a change and not wish lists. LFC Rumours/facts. Rafa has made an official bid of £10 million + Carson (valued at £3 million) for Barry. Villa will/have rejected. The only way Barry will join LFC is if he puts a transfer request in otherwise he will stay. Riise has been made available for transfer and LFC will allow him to leave if a bid of £6 million is received. The same applies to Crouch, the club will accept an offer in the region of £12.5 million. Crouch has asked to leave due to limited first opportunites this year and the situation will not get better next year. My mate (who told me about Torres last April 07) has heard that Rafa has been given no more than £25 million to spend, although he will also be given a large chunk of any money he raises in sales. Therefore he will have roughly 40 million to barter with. Kewell £5 million (wages you work it out), Riise £6 million, Crouch £12.5 million, Leto £2 million, Guthrie £1.5 million, Itandje £1 million, Hobbs 500 k. If Alonso asks for a transfer back home he will be sold. Otherwise he stays as will Kuyt, Voronin. Rumours that Rafa is bringing four players in are the talk of Melwood, however Barry is the only confirmed name. No one has seen degen around the place, however some of the staff say they would not recognise him anyway

Kevin Blackwell has a huge list of potential players he would like to sign in the Summer for Sheff United. Obviously not all of these will sign but the top ones on his list are Bruno N'Gotty, Darren Huckerby, Darren Currie, Paul Peschisolido, Sammy Clingan, Marc Wilson, Paul Dickov and Heinz Muller.

Chelsea monitoring Mario Gomez from Stuttgart and long term target, Valencia's David Villa.

Yaya Toure wants to team up with Kolo at Arsenal. but naturally Arsene Wenger will decide his own Targets, however, Wenger cannot deny that he needs to bolster that midfield with the impending departure of Hleb to Inter.

Dani Alves will eventually end speculation by leaving Sevilla this Summer but his destination is still unknown. Chelsea will not persue him as they have just forked out £16.1 million on Jose Bosingwa. So Italy or Man United looks his most likely destination.

It would also appear that if indeed there is a race on to sign Ecuadorian, Antonio Valencia from Wigan, then Man United are in poll position to seal that deal. However, he's not someone I would approve of.

Micheal Owen will sign a new deal with The Magpies. Definately not going to Japan.

Do expect Man United to raid affiliation club, Sporting CP for Miguel Veloso.

Mikeal Silvestre is definitely on his way out, with Bourdoux likely suiters.

Villa to sign Diego Forlan for £8 million, mon and lerner persuade barry to stay barry to stay with a list of big signings

I'm a Walsall fan for my sins we are knowen as the saddlers and play at banks's stadium now do not know why we changed the name of the ground

  Didia Drogba to Milan.

After reported talks with Milan broke down two seasons ago, new talks have started with a possible move for Drogba moving to the Italian giants.

Looking at the table it is clear to see that Milan need a miricle (torino to win at forientina) to be playing European football next season which may be a stumbling block for Drogba with the 30 year old wanting to play at the highest level in what looks to be the last few seasons of his career.

Out of favour Drogba is a strong target of Milans and could be what they need to propel the Italian giants to where they should be. in Europe.

Celtic – I was at the reserve game V Hibernian on Monday to watch the team cliam it is 7th title in a row at this level. Speaking to Willie McStay and the news is decent for playes in during the Summer. Targets deinitely include – Given (Newcastle) Robinson (West Bromwich) Kilgannon (Sheff United) huddlestone (Tottenham) and Bellamy (the Hammers) Outs to include – Boruc/naylor/Balde/pressley/Gravesen/Nakamura/mizuno/vgoh/killen/Riordan/and possibly mcgeady – the first team squad will be supplemented by the promotion of some of the reserves, these to include – Caddis/Cuthbert/Millar/McGlinchey/McGowan/Sheridan and O'Carroll – 1 point dropped by the rotten mob and the league is ours

I have it from a reliable source that Liverpool are interested in signing Nicky Shorey from Reading as a replacement for the outbound Riise.

Following the signings of Cerny and Ramage, a source close within Qpr has told me that could allow new manager Dowie to make his first Summer signings with the swoop of Crystal Palace ace Clinton Morrison. If Dowie misses out on Morrison, however, he is likely to look to Ian Hume to increase Qpr's average goal scoring return this season.

Manchester City's Brazilian wizard Elano is in contract talks with Spains 'yellow submarines' Villarreal. The fee is rumoured to be around £28 million Euros and the players salary could range between 6 and 8 million Euros per annum. Nery Castillo is also a target for los amarillos and a loan deal could be struck with the parent club shakhtar donetsk if Eriksson is replaced over the coming weeks.

The sailor in the know.

A busy Summer looms for Aston Villa according to a highly reliable source.

Leaving (already common knowledge)

– Melberg

– Sorensen

– Carson

– Berger

This leaves the smallest squad in the Premiership dangerously low on numbers so around ten players will be joining over the Summer, many of which will be late/deadline day signings.

In:

– Stearman and Mattock (Leicester) – Initially in the reserves but providing first team cover

– Kevin Doyle (Reading)

– Nicky Shorey (Reading)

– Lennon (Tottenham)

– Huddleston (Tottenham)

– Chimbonda (Tottenham)

– Milner (Newcastle)

– Guzman (Chivas)

– Kirkland (Wigan)

Lets start this with some information that most Fulham fans already know:

Fulham pulled off a miraculous escape from relegation.

Their squad is arguably not strong enough to do this again.

Al Fayed knows this, so will be forced into investing big money to keep them in the league.

This will give Roy Hodgson the transfer budget he requires to bring in the players that he has been frequently linked with recently.

A reasonable transfer budget for Roy Hodgson is around £25 million. In terms of the squad already, the key players are obviously Bullard and Murphy, who run the midfield, and then added to by the steady experienced presence of Mcbride and Nevland.

Fulham ins:

£4 million Emile Heskey (Wigan), by selling Valencia and Palacio for big money, Steve Bruce will be able to replace Heskey with some real talent up front

Free Transfer Hernan Crespo (Inter/Chelsea), With Crespo beginning to falter in front of goal in Serie A, and Chelsea unwilling to recall him to the Premier League, Fulham could make a move for Crespo, who was interested in moving to link up with Hodgson when he was in charge at Inter.

£1 million Sami Hyypia (Liverpool), With the return of Agger and the increasing presence of Skrtel, Liverpool will sell the aging Hyypia, with Fulham interested as Hodgson coached Hyypia for Finland.

£4 million Tomas Hubschman (Shakhtar) Hodgson's experience in Europe could lead to the capture of the experienced Czech centre back from Shakhtar.

£9 million Rafael Van Der Vaart (HSV) The Dutch midfielder's recent remarks that he wants to play for a London club someday have alerted Fulham, who believe his creativity will work well with the vision of Murphy and Bullard.

Hodgson is also believed to have been scanning the championship for role players that could serve as back up and do a job when the key players are injured:

750 k Elliot Ward (Coventry)

300 k Stephen Kelly (Birmingham)

600 k James Harper (Reading)

In order to keep the wage bill and squad balance level, it is likely that Hodgson will look to offload:

£1.5 million David Healy

£2 million Collins John

£400 k Phillipe Cristenval

Free Jari Litmanen

Free Brede Hangeland

My friend lives in Spain and he tells me that every one is saying that Rohnaldinho is moving to Chelsea next season so that I nearly certain also Riise could be going to Tottenham

There will be many big tranfers to the Premier League this season from foreign leagues:

Nasri – Liverpool/Arsenal

Henry – Liverpool/Arsenal/Manchester City/the Hammers

Veloso – Man United/Arsenal

Eto'o – Chelsea/Tottenham/Man United

Saviola – Tottenham/Man United

Aguero – Liverpool

Silva – Liverpool

Villa – Liverpool/Tottenham/Chelsea

Rafinha – Liverpool

Milito – Tottenham/Man City/Chelsea

Garay – Liverpool/Tottenham

Kerlon – Chelsea/Man United maybe Arsenal or Tottenham

"Raul to finish career under Rafa".

Raul will be joining up with compatriot Fernando Torres this Summer and it will not be in Austria and Switzerland. The Madrid goal scoring machine could make a shock exit from the Bernabeu and join the Reds of Merseyside to set up a mouth watering front line of Spanish hit men for the Reds of Liverpool. The Spanish forward, who has netted over 200 goals in the Spanish La Liga and is the all time leading scorer for the Spanish national side with 44 goals, will be joining up with fellow compatriots, Torres, Alonso and Reina at Melwood training ground for several training sessions before jetting off for their pre–Euro 2008 training camp. Raúl Gonzalez Blanco or simply known as Raul has always been a fond admirer of Rafael Benitez and has often spoken publicly of his praise for the man who brought Liverpool's fifth European title back to Merseyside.

With Raul's current contract running out in 2010, Real Madrid are keen to extend the legacy's stay by offering an additional year to his existing contract. However with Ruud Van Nistelrooy often being the center of any plans at the Bernabeu coupled with the recent turn on him of both fans and local media, Raul has decided it is time to look for a new challenge in a career that has already seen him win 3 Champions league medals and 6 La Liga titles. Liverpool have reportedly put in an offer of £8 million GBP that will also see Lucas move in the opposite direction. Rafa was recently quoted as saying within the Spanish press, “Raul is a fantastic player no? He can play up front for us with Fernando or play on the right or the left”.

Harry Kewell's imminent departure will also mean that Raul will be wearing the Liverpool number seven; the number he has worn throughout his career for both club and country.

Thierry Henry is on his way to Liverpool in possible swap deal for Alonso who wll be replaced by Barry. Henry is on record as saying he would love to play in same team as Steven Gerrard. Henry + Torres = Premier League. Long live Rafa.

Here are a couple of rumours that I heard in Leeds.

If Leeds get promoted Gary Macca will be given enough funds to help further promotion.

One name that is knocking about it Djimi Traore, he is currently unsettled with life in the south and no northern Premier League clubs are interested in him. Also Traore used to look up to Macca at Liverpool so he thinks working under him would be great.

Also Leeds could look to taking Scott Carson back on loan, although this is unlikely as he wants to stay in the Premier League.

leeds for prem 2009

  Arsenal Summer Transfer Rumours:

With the departure of Flamini to Milan, expect to be followed by Hleb (Inter), Senderos (Juve), Eboue (Villa) and possibly RVP due to his ever occuring injuries, Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Bendntner but should RVP become available expect a bid to be accepted. Money has been made available for Arsene Wenger to bolster his squad as it has become clear that despite potential there is a gulf in class from United and Chelsea. Frey is a long term target in goal and Wenger will bid for either Mexes or Kompany – both if Gallas moves on. Ben Arfa is almost completed and with Eto'o suggesting he may leave Camp Nou, expect Wenger to bid as he is a long term admirer of the free–scoring forward. Gilberto will be cover for Flamini departure however will battle for a place with Yaya Toure who will be the earliest addition to the Arsenal Squad as Barry looks destined for Liverpool. Micah Richards will not join despite rumours. Next season Cesc will captain and watch out for Wonder–kid Merida to make plenty of appearances and prove Arsene Wenger has unearthed another Gem. Gooner87

There is a lot of garbage concerning Everton players leaving and others coming. Firstly my wifes Spanish and she knows for a fact Arteta is staying. Lescott is not leaving to Arsenal either (in your dreams) Definites are Ashton in swap for Johnson, Fernades loan or £9 million, one other top class midfielder,. Owen, Dunne, Nolan no chance. Expect a couple of buys from Wolves, Cardiff and perhaps Howard from Barnsley or Beevers Owls

  Newcastle will buy Arteta

and sell Geremi to Hamburg as Martin Jol is becoming their new manager as he was interested in buying him while he was Tottenham boss

Aston Villa Rumours. I have heard some rumours direct from a player. I had Stylian Petrov in my taxi last week and he told me some interesting things. A new right back has already visited the training ground, Nelson Marcos from Benfica is the man, if the price can be agreed. Villa have also been in contact with Hamburg about Vincent Kompany. He also said he has been told that Villa will really go after Rafael Van der Vaart if Gareth Barry leaves. There is also news about forwards, a young Bolivian called Marcelo Moreno is high on the list from Villas scouts. More soon. Hubert

Rafa Benitez could resign his post as Liverpool manager. A tentative approach has been made to ex–Bolton and Newcastle manager, Sam Allardyce to succeed the Spaniard. fact.

  arsenal news.

now Flamini is gone Wenger will want to buy a player to fill his role, althou we have Gilberto and Denilson he feels he needs a more attackin dm. yaya Toure could be on the cards after addmiting he would love to join Arsenal on sky sports.

th winger will be ben arfa. they have struck a deal which will c him come for £15 million. expect that to come out in the next two weeks after Wenger has said ill be waiting to sign players before the end of may. this is due to the French cup final. and Lyon are in that.

defense will be sorted out with either kompany or albiol. althou Richards for centre back and barry for the holding role have been made targets.

now for the forwards. Vela is coming back with Merida. althou we will buy gervinho for £5 million. he's the next didier Drogba and will be a world star if Wenger can sort him out. other in could be Nasri for £12 million due to he's repoted buy out Clause, Dos Santos, Robinho and ronaldhinio one maybe two of them will be BIG MAYJOR SINGINGS. I would say Dos Santos and Robinho due to the fact that ronaldhinio is past it but then again he is still one of the best players in the world. Wenger sees Dos Santos and robinhio as ideal ARSENAL players they will fit in perfectly.

Rafa Benitez has not been allocated any sum of money but is believed to have approximately £22 million without issues (TV, Champions League and momo monies)

He has been told that he also has to reduce the registered players on the books. With player sales he could have £35 – £40 million net.

With HK off the books there is potential for a major signing due to the wages, but Rafa is restricted by the need to strengthen the quality of his squad.

Expect activity with the following positions;

Right back – Philipp Degen (signed 10th may? )

Right back/mid – Rafinha

Left back/Mid – Garth Barry (depends on valuation)

Forward – Maxi Rodriguez

Forward – Eto'o

Also Seydou Keita could be a replacement if big money is offered for Alonso.

Departures,

Peter Crouch – (Pompy, Villa, City, or Spain)

Xabi Alonso – (Spain or Italy £12 million)

Scott Carson – (Villa? )

Jermaine Pennant – (Newcastle £5 million)

John Arne Riise – (Villa? )

Charles Itandje – (France)

Jordy Brouwer – (Holland)

Harry Kewell – (Free)

Danny Guthrie – (Bolton £2.6 million)

Anthony Le Tallec – (Le Mans £1.8 million)

  Swansea City targets:

Williams (Stockport–£400 k)

Cox (Brighton–£200 k)

Paterson (Scunthorpe–£1 million)

Others will seemingly include about ten players from Spanish B–Teams

Big news for Blades fans regarding transfers this Summer. James Beattie may well be out of the club in a move to Wigan for around £5 million. His replacement will be Jermaine Beckford from Leeds for around £3 million.

Luton Shelton has caught the eye of Rafa Benitez who plans to play him with Torres in the future. A fee of around £6 million has been discussed. Also, Benitez wants to further strengthen is squad with at least seven more central midfield players, candidates include Steve Sidwell, Scott Parker, Michael Brown, Wilson Palacios, Jermaine Jenas, Jimmy Bullard and James Harper.

Theres a rumour going round that Man United are ready to swoop for Micah Richards AND Dani Alves. The area that needs strengthening the most is up front. It's doubtful that Michael Owen will join, but Ferguson could be ready to take advantage of the unrest at FC Barcelona and swoop for Samuel Eto'o for £15 million and are happy to pay his £100,000 a week wage demands.

  Liverpool

I have been told by a friend who works at Melwood, that Rafa has lost out on one of his targets because of the weakness of the euro.

The player was Franck Ribéry and Bayern Munich wanted to make their money back for team strengthening.

Rafa was happy to blow his budget on the player and use sales to fund other targets, unfortunately the £16.5 million offer would now need to be £21 million due to the change in the euro, so Rafa is pursuing other options with "little Rafa" a potential target.

Love rumours but some teams really need to be realistic in there post's? for one why would JAN KLASS HUNTELAAR move to the Premiership? his manager at AJAX is VAN BASTEN and his coach will be BERGKAMP what he could learn from those in one extra season is no end, Arsenal will not be buy'ing RICHARDS. he will either stay or move to OLD TRAFFORD problem the latter, WENGER will buy either LUCIO or WHEATER, I can assure ARSENAL fans they are so far from being in the front of the que for AARON RAMSEY and will not be getting KENWYN JONES, MAN UNITED will get DANI ALVES as we stated on here two months ago also ALEX FERGUSON will not be prepared to spend £30 million+ on BERBA; THFC, SHAY GIVEN, Owen and ANTON FERDINAND will not be coming to the lane. NEWCATLE can forget about buy'ing "big" players so no Shaun Wright–Phillips, CROUCH, BELLAMY, LENNON or ARSHAVIN, expect KK to buy average players as for LIVERPOOL. BOSTOCK has stated "why would I want to go there, when I can stay in London", the deal to take BOSTOCK to WHL is all but done the lad just needs to finish his gcse's?

P. S TOLD you YESTERDAY ABOUT THE SPURS/CITY/KEEPER SWAP

the city, square–mile london.

Just went past Hibernian training ground at East Mains, Where I saw Darren O'Dea and Derek Riordan pulling away in a black Range Rover.

Also Rumours in Edinburgh have it that, Bobby Williamson is making a shock return to management in Scotland as the new Hearts manager. Hearts are having a press conference planned for Monday at 10am.

  northwest news

There is going to be a mini Spanish exodus with four Spanish players returning to their homeland.

(1) First to return is Juan Ugarte who due to injury had his contract cancelled at the beginning of the year.

(2) Second returning is Mikel Alonso from Bolton who is returning to Real Sociedad from loan.

(3) Third to leave will be Mikel Arteta due to his wife's modelling commitments, but this transfer is depending upon the last of the quartet due to their friendship.

(4) Lastly the departure of Xabi Alonso will see all four move back to Spain. Alonso is happy with his life on Merseyside living next door to his best friend, but with the birth of his first son he wants to return to Spain.

Zimbabwean Forward Musawengosi Mguni of AC Omonia in Cyprus is being looked at by a number of Premier League and Championship Teams. His great goalscoring record in the Cypriot league has attracted the attentions of Coventry after the success that Michael Mifsud has enjoyed. The leaders in the race to sign him are Stoke becasue they him as an ideal partner for Mamady Sidibe and a good replacement for Ricardo Fuller, who is definently going and is wanted by the Hammers and Fulham.

Rafa Benitez is planning a raid of CF Getafe. Ikechukwu Uche is seen as an ideal replacement for the outgoing Crouch and de la Red will fill the attacking midfield void left by the depature of Jermaine Pennant (to Manchester City for a fee of £6 million pounds) and Harry Kewell (to Fulham, now certain, due to their avoiding relegation). with these two young stars in, the Liverpool squad will have a complete look to it. the double deal will cost Liverpool somewhere in the region of £20 million pounds and is likely to include the departure of defender Mikel San Jose to Getafe on a permanent deal and possibly Krizstian Nemeth on loan.

Keep the Peace, Tyrell T

David Moyes has not signed a new deal, nor will he until he is guaranteed a decent transfer kitty to strengthen the team. Saying this he will not leave Everton, as there is not a better team to go to. I imagine Man United or Celtic are the only 2 places he will go. Anyway, Moyes is looking at:

Arsharvin

Sidwell

Michael Howard

Dunne

Fernandes (if the money is right)

Joaqin (apparently they only want 10–15 million now)

also expect a cheeky bid for Crouch early on.

  Man United

SAF is only going for people in two positions – defense and forward. We will buy Alves and Fabiano for a combined fee of around £35 million maybe up to £40 million, Alves being around £20–25 million of it.

There may be a second choice left back on the cards if Silvestre decides to head back to France. Manucho will become fourth choice forward next season behind Rooney, Tevez, and Fabiano.

Saha will be sold to a French or Spanish team.

Benzema will only be bought in season after next if Manucho is a flop which could be part of the deal, swap and £20 mill

Man United

Just heard that Mick McCarthey has drawn up his wish list and passed it on to Moxey:

Wes Hoolahan – Blackpool 500 k

Matt Sadler – Watford – 250 k

Liam Lawrence – Stoke City – £1 million

Kevin Phillips – Them down the road Free Agent

Freddie Eastwood – Coventry

rob edwards – Walsall

The signing Walter Smith wants to help Rangers play more attractive football is Kim kallstrom he may also make a bid for Marchena (he does not want go to a top club to sit on the bench)

Russell Anderson is not going to be signing for Plymouth Argyle the rumours on here are false. Roy Keane wants him to stay at Sunderland and fight for his place.

Due to this Paul Sturrock has to look at other defensive options. He is looking at Michael Mancienne of Chelsea who has impressed on loan at Queens Park Rangers and Greg Halford at Sunderland. He may struggle to finance these deals as he wants them on a permanent basis and could look to loan them for the season.

He will also look to Ben Sahar who has recently been on loan at Sheff Wednesday this season.

There are several targets Sturrock has looked at so far across the globe and another person he is interested in bringing to Home Park is midfielder Alain Traoré. There are two forwards currently on his wish list including Oyvind Hoas, who is not happy playing at the standard of football at SFK Sparta, and Género Zeefuik of PSV Eindhoven. Oyvind Hoas will be available at a cheap price but Zeefuik would only be available on a loan deal should PSV be interested in giving him experience.

Everton to sign Bradley from Heerenveen (definite) with one of either Arshavin or Kallstrom to follow

Fulham set to bid for the American Wonder–kid Jozy Altidore. Jozy Altidore is said to be one of the top kids for the future, rivaling the ability of Mexican Wonder–kid Dos Santos.

SAfc rumours. I have heard froma reliable source that from Keanes irish links he will bid for Kevin doyle, Stephen hunt, Richard dunne and Aiden McGeady. Also he will try and lure Diego Forlan and Adrian Mutu to boost chance of getting in Europe.
