right lets stop the idiots jumping on the Torres to whoever bandwagon!! There is no done deal for him and Atletico would be mad to sell him until after WC, lets face it he added 5 or 6million to his value after performance against Ukraine, infact there wont be any deals regarding WC squad members for at least 4 wks cuz no manager would want any of his players distracted by anything like that. So fine keep the rumours coming in but think before you open your mouth. 1 deal that will happen this week is Gary McSheffrey to C Palace for a fee of 1.2million
There are lots of wild rumours at present about arsenal signing various 'galacticos' type superstars this summer - Adriano, Torres, Ronaldo, Kaka, Viera, Owen etc.
unfortunately I can confirm that none of thes players will be gracing the Emirates unless starting for the opposition.
I wish half the stories were true but they're not - I'm not going to claim some wild affiliation to the club - I'm not a long lost relative of Dein or the second cousin twice removed of the groundsman, I actually work for an investment bank (and no, not as a hotshot deal maker - I work in office support, but we handle financing and debt leveraging for the club.
We will go for Ya Ya but he's already looks decided that the spuds are a better option (silly boy!), We're also likely to go for a Nigerian CB but I don't know who and an English box to box midfielder with disciplinary problems and a lack of offers on the table - expect to pick up JB for around 5m - good business if Le Prof is able to calm him down!
Lastly and most unfortunately we're getting rid of Cygan (no great loss but he's always done his best) but will be replacing him with Hargreaves! (around £8m) - this isn't 100% confirmed and could be a wind up, but the same person who told me this, also let me know about all sorts of deals including Torres to Man U and Anelka to Portsmouth, Ruud to Bayern or Inter, and most tellingly Sheva to Chelsea, weeks before anyone else started talking them up (and last year he told me about Adebayor, who I have to admit I'd never heard of)

In an official interview with LFC player Anthony Le Tallec three weeks ago, he said he was returning to France as he had no future in the club, adding that "LFC will sign two great strikers". This was prior to Cisse's injury and proposed 8M transfer to Lyon or Marseille. The articles that followed regarding the lost opportunity of funds from Cisse's transfer means that LFC do not have a large transfer budget. Therefore, Fernando Torres and David Villa, who are both valued at 18-20M are off-limits. Sinama-Pongolle, who Benitez has officially said is still part of his plans, will have a bigger role. LFC will not sign two great strikers, only one. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is most likely. He is one of the few great young strikers not in the World Cup and he is a much lower profile target than for example, Torres, Villa, Kuyt. Benitez sees Huntelaar as the successor to Fowler and will cost 10M or less. Gonzalez and Paletta are done deals. Aurelio will be signed on a free. Alves will not be signed as Sevilla has now rejected LFC for the second time. An agreement has been made to sign Pennant for 3.5M depending on Alves. Aimar will be signed for 5M because he can play as a makeshift striker and he wants to play for Benitez again. Unless Trezeguet is available for 10M or less, LFC will not be signing any more players until January.

i have heard there deals are all set to be sorted within the next week (if not made public), torres will sign for manu after atletico accepted £24m and torres agreed in principle to join. bayern have made a bid to united after long talks they will give manu £4m and schweinsteiger for RVN. manu have already done a £14m deal for riquelme and mascherano for £9.75m. while a deal for petit and simao is nearly done for £17m. chelsea are set to offer bayern £15m for lahm. liverpool have done a £10m deal for alves and £6m for aimar as well as a £13.5m deal for defoe while a £20m bid for villa has been rejected. charlton will sign dos santos for £750k while west ham will sign rotan for £2m .

It was good to read the comments of that person who claims to be an agent as regards rumours of AW buying Adriano, etc. People should critically appraise a rumour before bringing it to this forum. Nevertheless, I believe AW will still buy one more big name; he promised to. He said Rosicky was bought to replace RP7. He needs to replace DB10 and remember, AFC's CL place is not yet secure. For this reasons a prolific scorer will be bought- Fernando Torres for £21/22m. To be offloaded will be Aladierre, Smith & Lupoli. Lunberg too? These sales will shore up the remaing funds so there will still be enough for Ribery (to provide competition for Reyes), two more CBs and a new GK. There's a big "BUT"; it implies a departure from AW's tradition of "£5m net" purchase which may still be achieved with 4 - 5 offloads in January.

Mark Robson has been a family friend for many years so when he was given a job in the first team coaching staff we was delighted for him and his family, I saw Mark last week and managed to get a few little words from him regarding the transfers of Charlton Athletic, He said the club are looking to buy (Kevin Nicholls, Kiki Musampa, Eric Addo, Arnold Kruiswijk, Gerard Piqué, Scott Carson, John Welsh, Izale McLeod) We was in the hunt for Steven Sidwell but that has fallen though as Reading have upped there contract offer. Matt Holland has also has had offers from West Brom and Cardiff.
Ian Holloway will be named as new Plymouth Argyle manager within next few days. He will bring striker Marc Nygard and defender Danny Shittu who are upset at the way he was treated at QPR. Also expected to beat old employers for the loan signings of both Bradley Wright-Phillips (Man City), Elliott Ward (West Ham) and Matt Jansen (Bolton)

I have it on a very good source that UTD have bid 5-mill for Benficas highly rated midfielder Armando Petit. (You can see him in the Spain world cup games if you want to check up on him guys). If this is happening, then either Carrick or Riquelme will partner him in the centre of our midfield. There are a lot of rumours that a deal is practically done for carrick, so it may well be him. However, Petit is a defensive midfielder, so I would prefer Riquelme to come. Torres is definately coming for 20-25-mill. He's very good too. Saha will make way for him, and be shipped out to a French team. RVN WILL NOT BE SOLD!!! He has patched it up will SAF, and is now seen as an integral part of our team again. (However, beware... does this mean that his 'arch-enemy' C.Ronaldo is going to leave then?). I like the rumours of right-back rafinha coming to play for us. I rate him very highly, and we definately do need cover for G.Neville who will not be as relieable as he was last season. Also Rafinha is a much better attacking wing back than Neville, which we need to support Ronaldo, (or another right winger).

First of all some of the Arsenal rumorurs on here are unreal, Lets get realistic Arsenal fans. People sugesting Van Der Vart, Adrinano, Buffon, Ribery, Trezuet etc are just living in dreamland. Some people even saying we will spend £90 million etc! Any real Arsenal fan knows Wenger will sign maybe 2 more quality players this summer along with a few kids. Curtis Davis will arive along with a defensive midfielder like Yaya Toure. This will set us back about 15-20 million.
Pires has left, Bergkamp retired and Cygan and Alidere will be going back to France with a few kids loaned out ie Djorou, Smith, Gilbert and Lupoli. PS - Walcott will be like a new signing to.

Stephen Kelly and Neil Danns will be meeting at Wast Hills on Saturday morning (09:30hrs) to finalise moves to Birmingham.
Kelly is reluctant to leave Tottenham, but knows his first team opportunities will be limited if he stays at White Hart Lane.
Neil Danns is raring to sign at Birmingham and hopes he can force his way into the first team at St.Andrews in the forthcoming season.
Another player targeted by Bruce is Kelly's former Tottenham colleague Calum Davenport. Whilst no bid has been submitted for the 23 year-old centre back, Birmingham are thought to be preparing a £1.1m raid in the next week.
Wigan Athletic are about to bid £2.5m for Emile Heskey. However Brum are expected to want at least £3.5m for the England striker's services.
Heskey does not want to leave St.Andrews, but with factions of fans becoming restless with Heskey's lack of goals last term, a large money bid may be enough to tempt Birmingham to sell.
Despite much fuss, Jermaine Pennant will NOT leave St.Andrews this summer. Pennant is keen to repay the faith Steve Bruce showed in him during tough times a year and a half ago.

Regarding Forwards, Baros will be kept as he looks unlikely to play much of the World Cup. Angel and Phillips will be sold, and a stronger target man, possibly Alan Smith on loan, will be purchased for Baros, Moore and Agbonlahor to run off. In Midfield expect Berger, Djemba-Djemba, Berson and Hendrie to be shown the door. In will come 2 of Milner, Gera, Malbranque, D Murphy or possibly Darren Fletcher on loan. In defence out will go Samuel and Delaney, with a young LB to cover Bouma coming in (possibly Kadlec), and a first choice RB (possibly Glenn Johnson on loan). Laursen will be given till January to proove fitness, if he fails her will be replaced in January.
Rangers currently negotiating with the agents of Sevilla duo Javier Saviola and Aitor Ocio, although Saviola's representatives are unwilling to make anything public whilst Argentina are still in the World Cup....
The deal to sign Ocio will be dependant on how long a contract is offered, the player wants one more year than Rangers have initially offered....
Everton to sign Andy Reid with cash and sell Naysmith (650k to Stuttgart) and Wright (£1m). They may also get SWP on loan if the sale of Andy VDM goes through. CAHILL WILL NOT BE SOLD.

LFC to sign one of two spaniards either Villa or Torres for a club record of £20million, Alves for £10million, Palleta for £2million, Aurilia for FREE, Aimar for £5million and Gonzalez loan return. That is all the money that Rafa has got and then some, so he will have too sell all of his not needed players (Mellor, Diao, Cheyrou, Kirkland, Dudek, Warnock, Traore, Potter, Raven and Medjani) in the summer to pay for aimar and have some money in the january transfer window. He will also be looking for a loan deal for Martins with the option of a perminant deal in the january transfer window, because cisse will leave in january after his injury.
Liverpool's new striker will not be Kuyt, Torres or any of the other names mentioned here as the fee will prove beyond our budget. However, an £8.5m fee has been agreed with Cagliari for David Suarez- the Honduran goal machine. He is very keen to join the Reds, and Rafa hopes to tie up the deal asap, as at least 3 other teams have made enquiries about him.

To those dreamers of Man U and Spurs. You will not sign Torres. He has no desire to play for either club. It will be Arsenal or Liverpool who will win his signature. My guess is Arsenal provided Reyes stays.

Spurs will sign C. Cole (3m), Zokora(10m) and Reid (4m). They will not attrach big names because they are not in the Champions League.

Expect shock coaching changes in the next season. Morinho will be at the Bridge for one more year or less as he is a man-manager and team builder but Roman is getting impatient for Champs League success and is going the 'galacticos' route over Jose's head. Jose did not want Sheva, and doesn't want Roberto Carlos or any of the other over-30 stars linked with Chelsea. Jose's ego is too big to have players bigger than himself and expect fireworks next season when Roman starts picking the team.
Also, the Glazers are not happy with Sir Alex's hissy fits sending another top player away from OT- Stamm, Beckham, Keane, now RVN. All these years later (6 for Stamm, 4 for Becks) and they STILL haven't been suitably replaced. The Glazers are hands-off owners but they aren't stupid, they can see that Fergie's reputation is scaring players away despite ManU's reputation. Expect Fergie to be gone by Xmas for 'health' reasons.

Wigan manager Paul Jewell is at the World Cup also scouting players. He is watching Ecuador's impressive centre back Ivan Hurtado. Although 31 years of age, Jewell sees him as ideal for the Premiership and will bring him in on a 2 year deal! Both strikers are heading out with Jason Roberts heading to Turkey and Henri Camera to Pompey. Chris Kirkland will replace Pollit who will be sold to Sheffield United, Filan will deputise for the on loan Liverpool keeper. 3 strikers will come in - 1 being Neil Mellor (£750,000) who will be the sub for the new strike partnership of Collins John for £1 million and super fast Josh Wollf from Kansas City for around £4 million whilst Korean striker Chun-Soo is also being monitored. Jewell wanted Heskey but he is Blackburn bound. The 3rd player to come in from Liverpool is left winger Bolo Zenden for £3 million and a right-midfielder and defender will also come in from the World Cup. Several Ecuador players are being monitored but only Hurtado has sparked a real interest. Leigton Baines will cover for Scharner and Zenden down the left side whilst McCulloch and Mellor will provide strong cover for the attack although McCulloch could play centre-midfield regularly.
