Use our rumours form to send us football transfer rumours.

Doncaster to sign Brian Howard from Sheff Utd and are going to get Jon Parkin also Kevin Keegan will be coming to be on the coaching staff!

Adriano too
Manchester United will be doing deals with son Darren Ferguson and Peterborough United this summer.

George Boyd & Chris Whelpdale (Two young wingers who Sir Alex admires ALOT) will be moving to Old Trafford in exchange for James Chester & the season long loans for Macheda & Gibson.
Ibrahima Sonko is a £5 million target for Martin O'Neill's Aston Villa.
The rumours on this site are ridiculous, that Arsenal one with all the in's and out's is beyond a joke! That guy clearly plays too much football manager! Some of the valuations are ridiculous like Andy Lonergan going for 7.5m? haha what a joke. People obviously enjoy making up fantasy.
Some genuine rumours however are:

–Nicky Bailey and Joe Murphy to Coventry with Swansea also after Joe Murphy.

–Mozika of Chester to join Crewe Alexandra.

–Steve Kean to leave as Coventry City assitant manager.

–Dexter Blackstock to Nottm Forest

–Danny N'Guessan to Leicester City.

–Yury Zhirkov to Chelsea.

–Marek Hamsik to Arsenal.

–Andrew Driver to Burnley (if they get promotion)
Liverpool are seriously considering an offer in the region of £2m for James McCarthy, they are monitoring the situation at the moment and have an "unofficial" first option on him due to talks 18 months ago. It basically means should Hamilton accept a bid they will let Liverpool know and it's up to them to match that bid with Liverpool able to speak to the player 1st. I live in Scotland and he could be a star espescially if he were to work with Stevie G on a regular basis as they are quite similar in style. Can people stop saying Tevez to go on loan to another EPL side, this cannot happen due to a change in regulation. How can we take your rumours seriously if that gets put in.
  To the guy who said
"I was at Celtic Park earlier today renewing my season ticket as the deadline is tomorrow. Just as I am walking out the Ticket Office and a Red Jaguar pulls up outside the main entrance and guess who jumps out the passenger seat? Michael Owen himself. The driver, his agent?, then parked the car in the VIP Car park. I asked him if he was signing for us and he said "Im up for contract talks and it looks likely. I've been impressed with initial negotiations and it looks like I will be signing tomorrow or on Monday." With this he walked away with the driver of the car into the Main Entrance where Peter Lawwell was waiting just inside. I was in absolute shock."
thats a lie. i work for a company who sells custom pool and snooker tables in durham and i was at michael owens house on wed n thurs putting in a new snooker table and re clothing his old one. unless he has a rocket ship that he got to glasgow n back home then im afraid ur lying. why lie? its a rumour site no some fantasy football team.

Ive read on here loads of rubbish rumours but i do enjoy the laugh ! where most of you get them from god only knows.

MON has turned his attention to a keeper !, not Mark Shwarzer at Fulham but Joe Hart of Man city.(5 mil)He should arrive with Daniel Sturridge on a free, Birmingham born & a villa fan.Next on the list is Joleon Lescott, again Birmingham born & a villa fan Replacing Martin Laursen who announced his retirement.

Midfield :we all accept that Barry's off to Liverpool and Tom Huddlestone is being lined up to partly fill his boots along with Owen Hargreaves.Ashley Young to Chelsea with Malouda in a swap deal.

Striker : The Mickey Owen rumour is still hanging around but can't see that 1 coming off unless he's going to be Gabby & Daniel's mentor !
If Dean Ashton can prove his fitness then don't be suprised to see him in a Villa shirt next season.

THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE
£200,000 for Sammy Clingan to Cardiff! Think again! Times that figure by at least 5 times
Sergio Ramos is leaving Real Madrid this summer and is coming to England. More precisely the North West of England. Logic and finances would steer towards Man Utd and Man City, but don't be surprised if Ramos ends up at Liverpool. Another Real Madrid departee is likely to be Royston Drenthe. Liverpool are very keen on this aggressive and skilful leftsided player. Rafa believes he has what it takes to make it in the EPL and his versatility will be invaluable to LFC. Also expect Rafa to be raiding AZ Alakmar's array of talents, with van Gaal gone, the players will be seeking pastures new. They boast a host of young, exciting talent. 1892_Hooligan.
The ruler of DIC(Dubai International Capital) is on the cusp of a takeover of AC Milan and that has Gillett and Hicks worrying as they feel they can get more money out of DIC then any other possible investor. Now Liverpool is his choice he supports them and has done for a while so this is something to keep an eye on in the next few weeks
To the Arsenal Guy who said they are in to sign. .
''Scott Parker (WEST HAM) 5 Million
Carlos Tevez (MSI) LOAN 2 seasons''

What planet are you living on? 1. West ham TURNED DOWN a £12 MILLION bid from city in January for Parker, since he has signed a 5 YEAR CONTRACT! 5 million pounds i think NOT!
2. Tevez can now only be bought from MSI as loans from them are now Illegal for english clubs. . . he is only on loan at Utd because he signed before these rules came in place! if Arsenal want him they have to pay big £££s!
Read the rumour on here stating 'Paul Ince going to Reading and getting Van Der Meyde on Loan as one of his targets'. . Van Der Meyde is out of contract at the end of the season, so who exactly would Reading be loaning him from??

Rumour I have heard, Ledley wants to come to Everton, hence Moyes looking at getting him for £3.5 million. Anichibe being offered to promoted clubs and some larger Championship teams (Cardiff, Sheff United, Reading) as well as Hull. He is rated at £2.5 million by Moyes.

Jo deal is not going to be made permanent, due to fee Man City want, and he isn't strong enough/have enough in his game to make up for a lack of goals.

I heard of a free lance sports journalist that Stephen Ireland is being targeted by the big 4.
  Busy Summer for Cardiff City. Mark Hudson(300k) , Sammy Clingan(400k) , David Marshall(Done) , Michael Chopra(Deal Agreed) , Nick Bailey(800k) , Llanna(Southampton–1m) , Herman Herridison(Free) , Jason Koumas(2m) = 7m. Leaving will be Johnson (3m) , Mcpahil(400k) , Ledley (5m)
To the guy who said this. . .

Yeah right m8 and i suppose on your way home u spotted shergar and lord lucan, right for some real rumours ive heard the kevin davies to liverpool rumour too and from what ive been told this one could happen another one ive heard that sounds realistic is arsene wenger to make a move for bassong and matt upson ive heard from a reliable source that the upson deal is nearly done with djorou going the other way.

  Arsenal news :
Please guys don't post a host of names linked to the club.
They will be signing 2 players only 1 guy in defence for sure , if they sell Adebayor he will be replaced scouts have been in Germany of late looking at strikers
I am please to announce that there is to be an extraordinary takeover at. . . . Accrington Stanley. No, it's not a wind up, a Canadian multi–millionaire is reportedly a big fan of the history of the club and is prepared to invest big money to make turn the club into a championship side in the next 15 years.

Sanchez Watt (Arsenal, Loan with view to signing)
Leon Noel (Liverpool, Trial with view to signing on Free)
& Noel Gallagher's 17 year old cousin Ashley Gallagher from Bury.

My source told me that among his first team targets are:

Jason Koumas
Nathan Ellington
Ross Turnbull
Rob Earnshaw
& Jason Culina

Celtic will not sign Micheal Owen

1. He is past it
2. Celtic don't have the money

Instead they will go for

Either James McCarthy or Morgaro Gomis
Paul Dixon or Jelle Van Damme

If celtic win the league which they will they will make two big signings Fernando Cavenaghi and loan signing of Giovani Dos Santos.

Bristol City have had an offer for Southampton Midfielder Andrew Surman rejected. It is unknown whether they will return with another bid.
  LFC Info
I think it is common knowlage that Rafa has a v. large transfer list, but what he has been trying to do is get 1st option on players he is interested in (Lennon, Bale, Aguero etc;) even if in the end he won't go for them. One of the more interesting ones is for Benni mcCarthy 1m. Expect to see Barry, G.johnson and Aslan join asap as Rafa has got in first on these. All other signings will be done quickly ready for pre–season.
Rafa will look at prem experience with interest in Shawcross (Skrtel double), Zuiverloon and shockingly van Persie.
Silva talks ongoing £18m–If we get him we get him.
Yossi, Babel, Dossena, leto, itandje and Deggen will have any offers for their services accepted.
Sadly it's looking more and more likely that Arbeloa and Alonso have had there heads turned by returns to their native, Arbeloa's family don't fancy Liverpool much and he may be used in part of a Silva or Aguero transfer. Alonso will only move if Barca come in for him.

Do you live in fantasy land?? Owen is out of contract in the summer, there for he can leave for free!

Any how onto a rumour, have it on good authority that Downing has agreed terms with Spurs & all that's needed is the fee agreeing. Good friends with a few people at MFC
Mums mate is an agent and says that west broms James Morrison HAS signed for everton. . fact, NOT rumour! That deal has been kept on the down low so there is no stir from the west brom camp. . also Ledley to sign for everton for no less than 4mil, jacobsen off to bayern munich also. :)
Newly appointed Bayern Munich manager Louis Van Gaal, has signed up on the agreement he will gain all money from sales of players to strengthen the squad. With Ribery waivering between Barca and Real, and Lahm being wanted by Barca, Van Gaal will have around at least £60m to play with. 2 players he wants to bring in to replace Ribery are Rafael Van der Vaart and Ryan Babel and is prepared to pay £15m for each of them. The clubs will accept the offers but the players may need persuading esp. VDV as he only left Germany a year ago and had hoped to move to London. Another target it JiSung Park of Man Utd he hopes to prise him away from OT for around £10m, and further add Tomas Rosicky to ranks on a free transfer. In defence he has surprising targetted Paul Scharner of Wigan as well as Pascal Chimbonda, Benoit Assou–Ekotto
The word (a good source in past if track record is anything to go by) has the following to say:

Tevez to L'Pool
Torres to Real Madrid
Kuyt to Arsenal
Cole (Joe not Ashley) to Liverpool
Noble to Liverpool
Lampard to Man U
  BLACKBURN ROVERS NEWS FOR 2009/2010

sam allardyce will offload the following strikers santa cruz, derbyshire and gallagher he will replace them with bojan of barcelona on a season long loan peter crouch from portsmouth for 7mil and kevin kuranyi from schalke for the same price.
with tugay, axe, reid set to leave and with the fitness worries of dunn, grella and emerton big sam could bring bentley back to ewood and also sign his spurs team mate huddlestone he has also been linked with movers for nani, sean davis, nolan and barton at least any of these 3 midfielders will be braught in to improve the midfield. finally with the defence he will sign a cb cover as ooijer is set to leave and also givet on a perminet deal with a right back following these playes are most likely to for rightback either finnan or torodis and for cb hypia or dawson. that will be all his transfer targets as he hopes rovers will push for europe next season
Liverpool are looking to land Middlesbrough's Marvin Emnes in a deal worth £12m following the Dutch wingers scintillating performance in Monday night's Tyne–Tees derby.
  LIVERPOOL FC

Simple news. . . Silva, Tevez, Aguero. I am friends with Sammy's daughter and she told me all about the graceful No. 4's targets. "To make a glorious team, we need elegance. Like Molby, Heighay and Macca"

Here's hoping she's right.

My brother is a steward at anfield, the word going around anfield is that rafa benitez will be given 55m by the owners this summer! also the hush hush word is that liverpool/rafa benitez is using the whole david silva saga to deflect attention away from liverpool's real target – david villa!! david silva won't be unveiled as a liverpool player until the villa deal is set in stone!! trust me on this. nando torres has been begging villa to join liverpool on the telephone
Arsenal has some big moves planned as Arsene will shake things up, get rid of excess, and add to his core of young players.
Out the door will be the following:
Adebayor (Arsene feels he's plateaued)
Fabregas (Wenger doesn’t want this but the young Spanish is getting impatient and will command a good transfer fee)
Silvestre (out the door)
Song (out on loan to recently promoted side)
Rosicky (out the door)
Gallas (to upper level French club)
Incoming will be:
Progrebnyak (better replacement than the overrated Santa Cruz for Adebayor)
Zhirkov (Rosicky’s replacement)
Joao Moutinho (will slot in perfectly for Fabregas until young talent arrives)
Miguel Veloso (midfield steel they need)
Senderos (recalled from loan)
Onyewu (will pair up with Toure as starting central back)
Heard through an SFA friend, Sir Alex Ferguson, Greame Souness and Walter Smith in talks with SDM about taking over Rangers. Anyone else heard anything along these lines?
One of the papers here in spain has mentioned a deal for Beckham back to real!!
Anyone else hear anything.
Wolves – any news??
  Rumours not fact.

Gary O'connor swap with Barry Ferguson.
James mcfadden rumoured to swap with Kris boyd Plus 1million to gers.
Alan Mcgregor to Newcastle 4million.
Fringe players at ibrox will either besent on loan or sold. WS looking for smaller squad next season to keep wages down.
Gianfranco Zola has stated that he does not want to make too many signings as he likes the team we have at the moment. I expect Zola to look at a pacy striker, midfield cover and possibly a new right back ( depending on if Lucas Neill signs a new deal in the summer).
So these could be the summer ins and outs:

Outs:
Faubert
Di Michele/Tristan – One or both of these
Gabbidon
Neill– possibly

Ins:
RB–Johnson (I hope) but more likely someone like Castro from abroad
Midfield cover– look at championship and Italian B league
Attack– A fast person with a good eye for goal – Tevez anyone? :)
  Celtic FC

Ok WGS will move on big jan in the summer – around 1 mill back to holland. also on the out is boruc – first offer in the region of 5–6 mill should see him moving. with zaluska coming in expect another bosman GK for cover. Scotty brown should be staying – will be offered improved conditions at the start of the window. Mcgeady again should stay unless silly money is offered which isn't likely.

Expect bids for fletcher of hibs, mcarthy of hamilton and santandaza at DU. other than that bosmans and a good few trialist brought in over the pre–season.

WGS said to be looking at one big signing– a striker to replace the outgoing van hesselink. Although owen is a possibilty wgs doesn't rate him that high and his wage demands are likely to scupper any deal taking place. A possibility is voronin from liverpool – again wages may be a stumbling block but he should be buyable for 2–3 mill. If middlesbrough are relagated then tuncay may be an option with him looking to move out from a championship side. these are just possibilities but expect this to be the area wee gord spends on in the summer!

P.s. bojan kiric on loan due to lawells special relationship with barca? you heard it hear first
To the person who said the following, unfortunately G&H have the funds to refinance their debt, so no takeover and only £30 plus sales for transfers.

""Major changes on the horizon at Liverpool, Hicks & Gillett will bite the bullet and will sell the club. Having realised that they can't provide what the club needs and the fans want, they're selling to someone who can. Sheikh Maktoum (not DIC)will have his £400m offer which has been on the table for some 18months accepted on the premise that he builds the new stadium and provides Rafa with the funds to compete, and he is willing to oblige. 1st point of call will be appointing a new CEO, and Brian Barwick will be the man appointed, he is also a Liverpool fan. Kenny Dalglish will be appointed to oversea the Youth Setup following Piet Hamberg's departure. Ian Rush may also be brought in to help develop the clubs strikers on a part time basis. Then the players, Maktoum wants Liverpool to be challenging and winning on all fronts and is willing to back Rafa in the transfer market. Rafa will look to players he's been interested in previously – Due to Athletico Madrid's finances worsening a 35m bid will be made for both Simao Sabrosa and Kun Aguero, 80m to Valencia for David Villa, David Silva and Raul Albiol. These fees are in Euros . And to attempt to fill the incoming 6+5 quota Glen Johnson and Gareth Barry will be signed, fee being £10m and £8m respectively. its not known whether the bids will be accepted but these are the kinds of players Rafa wants and the kind of money Maktoum is willing to spend. Out will be Itandje(1m–France), Hyypia(Leverkusen), Lucas(8m–Villareal), Voronin(5m–Bayern), ElZhar(3m–L'OM), Hobbs+Martin(1m–Leicester), Plessis (4m–Newcastle) plus others. Xabi Alonso will not be sold, even with Real Madrid planning a 28m bid. Maktoum wants to look at current plans for stadium, and decide whether to push through with plans or make new ones, but whatever is chosen he wants building to start before 2010.""
In reply to the question over Tevez. . . He is owned by M.S.I. (Kia Joorabchian) not United or West Ham, M.S.I. calls the shots but the issue is whether Utd have exercised their first option to buy. If they haven't, Liverpool, Citeh etc. can start a bidding war. Meanwhile Utd are trying to pick loopholes in the contract to get him on a Bosman style free transfer. Now Utd claim they have made an offer, whereas M.S.I. claim they haven't and is leaving in the summer. . . in a nutshell that's the big debate. All very dull like the Barry debacle last summer. Now. . Rumours: OUTS: adebayor to milan, bendtner on loan to champ club, gallas to psg ALL VERY LIKELY despite adebayor's pledge to stay til we win a trophy. . . gulp IN: villa to arsenal, (POSSIBLE) mexes to arsenal, hangeland to arsenal, upson to arsenal 2 out of 3 LIKELY. yaya toure in, very likely. Cesc_bomb
  To Redblond

I have it on very good authority that Gareth Barry will be signing for Liverpool this Summer and will get plenty of game time.
Alonso and Mascherano both staying but Lucas and Babel will both be leaving. Both Lucas and Babel have had quite a bit of playing time at LFC this season covering CM and LM. Barry will be brought in to cover both these positions as well as LB if needed. Expect him to become a 1st Team regular.

Other whispers:–
1. Rafa is close to signing Silva, talks moving to a fairly advanced stage.
2. Pompey keep upping Glen Johnson's value, expect Rafa to make a surprise approach for Sergio Ramos. Rafa believes that Ramos' natural attacking flair would remove the need to pursue a natural RW and he thinks he would compliment Kuyt. He hopes that Torres friendship could swing the deal. (Arbeloa heading back to Spain)
3. Lots of potential Striker Targets at the moment, and a bit of a merry go round will happen this Summer with quite a few top players switching clubs. Rafa is watching and waiting, but his main targets are one of Tevez, Villa, Aguerro and . . Thierry Henry.
  To the person that wrote this;

''another rumour effecting us is that david bentley is apparently off to spain (un sure of team) for around 17 (probably real madrid if they pay that much for some one like him), so expect half of that to come to arsenal, because of his contract, so we will have 8.5 mil extra to spend''

even if this is true and he's going to be sold by the scum, we won't recieve any 'sell on' money. that's already happened and doesn't roll over everytime a player is sold. look at it this way; If anelka had had a sell on clause in his contract when madrid bought him, would arsenal have got money everytime he was sold onto liverpool, bolton etc. . no, not a sausage!

Rumours re. Arsenal targets are typically focused on holding midfield players and defenders. Haangeland, Upson, Y Toure, Alonso. Some reports suggest a move for Tevez which would be outstanding!. . but won't happen, he's far too expensive
I have to endorse the rumour of Brian Barwick as the next CEO at Liverpool, Ian Ayre is also a worthy appointee but Barwick has more of a pedigree history not only as ex FA supremo but also experience in setting up a new stadium and the pitfalls involved there. And lets face it that's one of Liverpools next major objectives that we can't afford to mess up. The other plus is that Barwick is a RAFA supporter as is Kenny Dagleish and he too will be in line for a role. RAFA will surround himself with his supporters in order to allow him to get on with what he is good at. These appointments will free him up in order to succeed next term. One thing is for sure The CEO will not be appointed officially until July when the refinancing is due up. Nice to see other people endorsing my Kevin Davies rumour and he will take the once in a lifetime opportunity, hes a proven goalscorer, fantastic team moral player and provide unparraleled competition in a packed midfield filled with class. As a Captain and friend of Sammy Lee he will lead and protect, I like this principle of buying captains it never fails. I love Carra he is 100% heart he is the eppitamy of professionalism but RAFA needs to sort something out in relation to speed at the back as once again if we are to be picky about our weaknesses we need to analyse this area. I know we will never get him but if we had Puyol life would be so great.
If you convert your dreams into reality you can make it happen.

  Celtic rumours
===============

According to Radio Clyde today, James mcCarthy's agent Willie McKay met Peter Lawell yesterday regarding a £10K a week deal for the young irishman. McCarthy supports the hoops and would no doubt love to join the champs.Dont know what the fee would be but i would guess about £2M.

Also rumoured that Roy Keane wants to take Bobo Balde (free) and Paul Hartley to Ipswich (only expect about £300K)

4 in a row is still on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  To the peron who asked:

>> Does anyone know? If NO ONE comes
>> in for Tevez in the Summer, Who
>> would he be offically able to play
>> for? As he is still owned by a
>> third party isn't he still
>> officially a West Ham player?

He would not revert to being a West Ham player. He will stay under the ownership of the Agency subject to his registration being passed to a club side. If there were no club side interested in taking the player on, there is no doubt that he would be placed on the books of a second tier Argentinian side and then loaned out to a major European side. This would overcome any contractual or legal issues and has been considered as a way forward for other players in the past. It seems highly unlikely that it would come to this and I expect an agreement to be reached with Manchester United.

Sharkey
Whilst both Genoa and Dynamo Kiev have expressed an interest in Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko, his likely destination remains Turkey. There may be some interest coming up from the Middle East (Qartar) but I think that that might be shunned for a move to the States if the option becomes available.

Sharkey
James McArthur of Hamilton to join Rangers in a money plus loan deal that will see John Fleck go in the other direction for a season.

Portsmouth have enquired about James Perch at Nottingham Forest. Forest have quoted 1 million. This is 100% true
Whoever believes Barry will be joining spurs you are a fool! Barry is not a Spurs fan and has never stated he is, he has two brothers who are big spurs fans Barry has been quoted as saying he loves scoring against Spurs to rub it in his siblings faces.
Gareth Barry will be joing Arsenal at the end of the season as Wenger is planning on filling the gap that Flamini left behind. Fact Arsenal have allready made enquiries and will be following that up with a firm offer round £7m. There is no chance of him joing Liverpool as Rafa has been more than impressed with the resurgance of Alonso, plus mascherano has pleged his future to the reds.
Nigel Reo–Coker is also set to leave the villa due to lack of first team football.
Villa have earmarked Michael Johnson as a replacement for Barry, Martin O'neil also going to test Reading's resolve by tempting Kevin Doyle.
Various names have been mentioned to fill the centre back position Hangaland mainly however villa will not pay the £10m asking price therefore the cheaper option is Thomas Vermaelen from Ajax.
Just seen tevez coming out of a hotel in liverpool with his agent.
Kaka and david villa to chelsea for 167millon
This is from a friend who knows Marin O'Neil well.

Gareth Barry is off the Liverpool in the summer for £18M, with some fringe Liverpool player – possibly Ngog, but he wasn't 100% sure – going the other way as a makeweight. By the way, Chelsea made indirect approaches to Benitez, but he turned them down.

Villa are going to try to sign Fulham's centre back Brede Hageland, but Arsenal are also in for him. Arsenal wanted Lescott from Everton but weren't willing to meet Everton's £25M valuation.

Michael Owen may join Villa if a pay per play deal can be arranged; Barton will join either Bolton or Blackburn. Owen would like to play for Everton but Moyes isn't interested.

More as I get it.

Man Utd are only planning some minor deals in the summer, but if Ronaldo and Vidic both leave then United will have to spend big. United have a deal in place to sign Corinthians' Dodo for €6m in 2010. Douglas Costa will be targetted for around £10m but that may be rejected, depending on Gremio's financial position. Tevez will be allowed to leave Old Trafford with Frazier Campbell being brought back as the fourth choice striker. Edin Dzeko will be brought in for nearer the £9m mark. If Ronaldo leaves United will attempt to sign Antonio Valencia for around £15m or may attempt to try and sign David Silva again from Valencia for around £25m. Ribery won't be signed as he is going to Barcelona. If Vidic decides to leave for Barcelona for around £30m (because his wife is apparently unhappy in England) then United may make a bid for Bruno Alves or even Brede Hangeland.
  Manchester United Rumours

Carlos Tevez will sever his ties with reprasentative Kia Joorabchian and will go to court with Manchester United under the Bosman ruling to sign Tevez on a free transfer.

Dodo will be signed from Corinthians for £5.4m. He will join United in January 2010 but will pay the fee in the summer to rule out any transfer to another club. He plays as a centre back and will be introduced with Jonny Evans in the Carling Cup and will be a back up player for Vidic and Ferdinand like Evans.

Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at Man Utd despite rumours of a £70 million move to Real Madrid. However he will leave the club and join Real when Sir Alex Ferguson retires. In the mean time he will sign another extension on his contract on £140 k per week.

Nani will be sold to Inter Milan for around £13 million and will be a complete flop there like he has been so far at Old Trafford.

Adem Ljajic will also join the Reds in January and will be introduced through the Carling Cup.

Dimitar Berbatov will be sold to fierce City rivals Manchester City for £33m as Ferguson has realised he is not good enough and is willing to sell to the rivals as he will get more money than the £22 million other teams are willing to pay.

Karim Benzema will be signed as his replacement for £20 million pounds as Lyon dropped their asking price as Lyon will fail to reach the Champions League. Rooney will be deployed on the left wing as Ferguson sees him to filling Ryan Gigg's spot on the left side of midfield.
Finally, the tevez saga will come to an end this summer.

In some ways uve got 2 feel sorry for Alex ferguson. While the utd fans desperatly want him to sign tevez, he can't do anything about it. When Berbetov was signed last yr fegie was under the impression that cash would be available for a move l8er this season 4 tevez. But due to the massive down turn in the finances of the glazers, they will only fund a move if ronaldo goes. they believe that the fact tht fergie wants to sign a player for 30+ million that will only be 4th choice is not workable, meaning if he does go, it will be a financial decision, not a footballing one.

So, where will he go? he needs to go to a club who can afford his 30 million price tag. he also wants to stay in cheshire, so his family won't be up–rooted. this leaves only 2 possibilities: Man city or liverpool. he will have 2 choose between insane wages capable of buying and selling Malta in a week, or the invaluable prize of champions league football. Tough Choice. BigSmoke out.
  ((( AFC Bulletin )))

Senderos may move 2 AVFC as part of the deal 4 Gareth Barry 2 move 2 AFC . AW is also interested in Bolton defender Cahill and move 4 him , its heard Cahill is himself interested in moving 2 AFC . Possable move by AFC ,MUFC 4 Corinthians player Dentinho, hes seen as the next Daniel Alves . Miguel Veloso is likely 2 stay at Sporting Lisbon and not move 2 AFC or any other club as he himself has said so . AW is also taking an interest in Porto's Bruno Alves 2 replace Djourou . There could be a player swap deal with Vela moving 2 WHUFC whilst an WHUFC player moves the other way 2 AFC come the summer .

Not been on in a long long time but thought i would give you regulars an exclusive. from a big share holder within Celtic i deal with on a weekly basis. If Burnley don't come up Chris Eagles will be signed. If Middlesbrough go down Oneil will be signed. nd maybe even both regardles but championship status would help with transfers. Also told me Nakamura could yet stay for one more season so Eagles would have to battle him for right mid. 2True

4 In a row, still on the go! 2–2 hibs rangers later tonight.
Fulham are interested in signing Michael Jakobsen from Danish side Aab if they qualify for europe next season. Roy Hodgson is also looking to Inter Milan's Robert Acquafresca or Mame Niang from Viking FK as a replacement for Bobby Zamora.
Media leak, media leak, media leak!!!!!

according to two radio stations? one london based and the other national, spurs may well be doing deals for alonso (liverpool) and tevez? app rafa wants alonso out???? these come from two presenter's on radio one get's them 80% right and the other 95% right! when stating this on air the presenter (local) said "i don't think i should have mentioned that just yet" if the deals happen spurs would look to have a brilliant midfield?

The Tevez problem: the EPL has changed its rules over 3rd party ownership of players – players' contracts need to be owned by the clubs they play for. This has meant Tevez can't extend his loan deal at Utd. So any loan deals as posted are not going to happen. £25m is the price Utd would pay (after 2 years of a loan payments) – if he is looking at Liverpool or City – they may need to go up to £30m or more. .

Barry to Anfield? Why would you waste money on a position which is already well covered? Unless Alonso, Mascherano or perhaps Lucas are sold. Alonso is a better player, Mascher a better defender. We need creativity. The rumour may be true but unless Alonso or Mascher are to make way and the excess money spent on a winger or attacking midfielder to help out Gerrard, Torres etc – its not clear the squad would be stronger.

RedBlond
  Lfc will sign
Silva – £15m plus babel/lucas on loan for a year.
Glen Johnson £9m
Barry £7/8m
They will try to sign
Bojan(loan) and Gudjohnson from Barca
Micah Richards if Johnson deal fails, i would prefer richards as he can play rb and cb

Thanks
Alisher Usmanov has offered 2 pay some of the estimated 318 million pounds of debt to free up money for transfers, It is however expected that the board will not except as they are worried that he will launch a takeover bid.

And 2 the person that said that Abou Diaby is in talks with Birmingham and Nottingham forest that's absolute rubbish, evne if either club could put 11 million on the table they can't offer CL. Jack Wilshere is highly unlikely to join Milan as he has already signed a pro contract that ties him to the club till 2014.
Rafa is set to move for Kevin Davies after continually being impressed by him this season. His ability to work up front on his own should Torres be injured or to clear extra space for the Spaniard should he be deployed as a target man has convinced Rafa to move for him. Bolton have quoted a figure of 8m for this to happen.
Norwich City News ––––––– To the person who said Sammy Clingan to Barnsley for 375,000, i don't think so some how we rejected a 2.5 million bid from fulham in january so i doubt he's going for less than a quarter of that. Team Next Season––– Lee Camp GK, Simon Lappin LB, Micky Spillane CB, Gary Docherty CB, Jon Otsemebor RB, Yoann Folly CDM and Captain, Hucks LM, Korey Smith RM, Wes Hoolahan CAM, Alan Lee ST, Cody McDonald ST. Gunny as manager as he's seen as cheapest option. CITY TILL I DIE, best fans in england Y'army
I have been in discussion with a Rangers club official over Barry Ferguson. Apparently Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws was one of the first on the scene, and has offered a cut price 1 million for the disgraced midfielder with a view to him reigniting his career at Hillsborough. Apparently Ferguson was initially not keen on the deal, but in last few days it has been made very clear his ranger’s career is at an end and he has now started to take the offer much more seriously. Watch this space.
  Seriously lads!
There is some utter rubbish posted on here now and again! Mancs claiming Ronaldo will stay due to his love and respect for fergie – Ronaldo loves himself and his mum, let it go and stop sticking up for such a whinger. Tevez to stay at united, not very likely is it, again leave it alone!
Higuain to leave Real– seriously deluded. The whole madrid team to be sold– what world are you living in!
To my fellow reds posting about Rafa having 70 odd million, what part of liverpool are youse from, we can't afford anything like that until we get the yanks out! That may or may not happen until it does we have about 30 million to spend and will sell to buy. Face some facts lads! Hopefully the SILVA reports are true and we get him but i'm taking it with a pinch of salt as Rafa is the master of disguising his targets (unless a numpty goes public to spark a bidding war).
YNWA
Barry will not go to Liverpool, he will be going to either Man U or buy out and go over seas.
Reo will be off to Spuds and Harewood will go to one of the promoted teams.
Villa will bring in Richards from City Delph from leeds a sriker from over seas with Hangaland and Doyle also.
Barry will not go to Liverpool as he needs max play time with the World Cup very soon and he needs to stay in the shop window, not sit in Rafas bench holding gerrads jacket
  Regarding Tevez

Does anyone know? If NO ONE comes in for Tevez in the Summer, Who would he be offically able to play for?
As he is still owned by a third party isn't he still officially a West Ham player?

ie. Owned by Kia Joorabchian, loaned from West Ham to Man United.

I'm assuming due to new Premier League rules about 3rd party ownerships this summer, he could end up not having a club at all and if Joorabchian won't sell his player and wants to keep his contract he may never play in England again and have to go abroad.

I'm asking this as I have no idea what has gone on or is going on. Does anyone have any ideas or knows the score? cheers
Major changes on the horizon at Liverpool, Hicks & Gillett will bite the bullet and will sell the club. Maktoum wants to look at current plans for stadium, and decide whether to push through with plans or make new ones, but whatever is chosen he wants building to start before 2010.
"if delph goes will try to sign giles barnes to replace him" – Barnes has said the only reason he would leave Derby is for Premiership football. If he doesn't get an offer from Fulham or elsewhere this summer he will return to Derby. Why would he want to go to a League One club???

Champions 2009 come on the Gers.
To the guy who replied with this:
1. spurs did infact contact boro last jan regarding downing! and with downing being a local lad wanted to help boro stay up and then move on in the summer! so a deal was done (with spurs) so that downing could stay and to try to help boro stay up and not look like a rat jumping a sinking ship. .fact.
2.now for barry and please try to read this slowly. .barry is a spurs fan! ok? he has stated that the only club he would turn down champions league football for is spurs! do you still follow??? he may still go to liverpool?? but he would like an approach from spurs! meaning he would very much like to talk to harry! do you understand? now not every one grew up wanting to play for pool! some infact do want to play for other club's including barry if harry can sell his ideas for the future? then barry could well sign?!! harry does not have to sell the club to barry as his heart is already at whl and always has been! one other thing regarding barry he aint ever going to sign for arsenal due to his love of tottenham! hopefully this was not to hard for you to understand???????

Just so you know, Barry is nearly 29 years old. The only reason he considered leaving Villa is because he doesn't feel he has enough time left in his career to wait around for a club with ambitions. Villa already have that over and above Spurs. That is why he will not go to or wants an offer from Spurs. . It will infact be Pool or Arsenal. And I agree that not everybody grew up wanting to play for Pool, but a hell of alot less people grew up wanting to play for Spurs. . .Understand?????
  –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
reports on bbc claim that arsene is interested in mathew upson
yaya toure
david villa

also claims he is already looking at a zenit saint petersburg striker.

another rumour effecting us is that david bentley is apparently off to spain (un sure of team) for around 17 (probably real madrid if they pay that much for some one like him), so expect half of that to come to arsenal, because of his contract, so we will have 8.5 mil extra to spend
  RANGERS F.C.

Set the record straight!

No change in management is likely over the summer whether it is Ally McCoist, Alex McLeish or even Graeme Souness (yeah right).

Players transfers spent will not be high, possibly a million pounds max, although SPL title will decide for definet.

I hope this is printed because it's getting silly now. Now look, Gareth Barry WILL join Liverpool in the summer. So will Spurs fans stop dreaming that somehow, the lure of champions league won't lure Barry to Anfield, that instead he'll join a team that could just about finish mid–table. Barry SAYS he wants champions league football, not a decent run in the Carling Cup. And anyway, Barry seems like an okay sort of bloke, so why would he join a team with Harry Redknapp as manager?
OK some people are just posting absolute rubbish!
One person seems to think that Forest are going to somehow attract Diaby from Arsenal!! Nice try with that one. The same person also thinks Wiltshire from Arsenal has attracted Milan, come on how did you come up with that one?
Then another person saying Owen for £3m whether Toon stay up or not, ummmm his contract is up in the summer!

There are many rumours on the top players, but others that WILL be on the move for big fees are;
Van Der Vaart, Hulk, Bent and finally Dodo, who has agreed terms already with Man Utd.

––I WORK FOR EDINBURGH’S PREMIUM NEWSPAPER––

I have a source in the playing staff at Easter Road, they have told me that Hibs and Rangers have came to an agreement on Wednesday night’s game.

In exchange for Hibs letting Rangers collect 3 valuable points, Mixu’s Flair Meisters will be allowed to sign former international defender, Andrew Webster for a nominal fee when the transfer window reopens.

My source is outraged and has asked for clear the air talks and only the intervention of his agent has stopped him demanding a transfer. He is Celtic minded and is pretty upset obviously.

––I WORK FOR EDINBURGH’S PREMIUM NEWSPAPER––
This is not a rumour . . .merely supposition based on 20 years exp as an accountant.
Rangers – win the league and they will be able to continue trading. Win the league and Celtic not qualify for champions league – minimal sales , prob NEED to raise 7– 8 million ( and not paper pushing debt moveent like the last time!)
If Rangers DONT win the league – there is a real possibility that they will have to cease trading– When reading the accounts ( even the paltry ones issued by DM ) it is obvious that they are in danger of over trading , and being un able to support the level of debt that they have. Heaven knows how they were allowed to get into this position ( The old Scottish school tie thing–––which is now over)Ibrox was valued for funding purposes at 99million!!!! Who agreed to that ? The best price for developable land in the Govan tt a is 120 – 150 pounds per square foot, making Ibrox worth around 6 mill ( at the top of the market and not inc taxes , fees or demolition costs, and on the basis that there arent any issues with the land itself , never read a soil survey of Govan or any of the surrounding area. It beggars belief that Rangers in general and DM in particular were allowed to finance a football club beloved to so many in this way. I can only surmise that the panic sales being talked about are based on the audit being carried out Ltsb ( who did not attend the " right" school and have the right gentlemen's club membership and who are only interested in the business practises of the debtors––– of which DM is a major one ( rumoured debt of holding company £28million!!!!)
The end result of even the most perfunctory of analysis of his accounts would suggest that his ego and the svegali like sway he holds on the Scottish media ( mega casino in Govan!!!! might as well claim that Disneyland is considering building in easterhouse!)have caused and created the opportunity for him to run a massive and well loved institution into the ground. Questions that should be asked ( who supplies Rangers FM , catering etc etc , who benefitted from the sale of the sports goods shops to JJB , how can Rangers be exempt from any mention with regard to the Uefa investigation into racism etc etc . I am a Rangers fan , well sort of, but most of my pals follow them and these questions should be asked!!!!for the sake of hard working people who spend lots of money on their football
To all the rangers fans linking the govan club with multi–million pound deals, can we please live in the real world???? your club is in extreme debt, the VAST majority of your better players WILL be sold and average low cost players will be brought in. Im not trying to be nasty here just being honest.

On to the good guys at celtic park now–
Strachan will leave the club in the summer opening the door for possibly Mowbray, Coyle or even Levein

As for possible targets– no one will be signed until the new manager is in place and has given his list of targets to the board
