Leicester City have taken Andrea Mancini on trial. He is the son on Manchester City manager Roberto. Sven Goran Eriksson is believed to be very interested in him.
As well as Mancini, Bernard Parker is nearing a contract with the foxes to bolster their forward options.
But heading out of the club is Martyn Waghorn on loan, with Derby and Preston interested in the young forward. He has been pushed down the pecking order at the Walkers, behind Yakubu, Darius Vassell, Paul Gallagher and Steve Howard. But Sven still believes Waghorn has a future at Leicester.

This whole Suarez rumour is just a smoke screen. NESV have lost pocket on Roy's compensation deal and are therefore selling Babel to Ajax for an undisclosed fee to cover their loss.

Chelsea transfer news: Chelsea are set to outprice tottenham in the signing of Steven Pienaar. Spurs have matched chelsea's £3m offer but an improved offer of £3.7m will see of the competition and secure ancelotti his first January signing. The south African will agree a 3 year deal.
The blues are also unable to fund the deal for Brazilian defender David Luiz. Benfica have slapped a £26.8m price tag on him but AS Roma centre back Phillipe Mexes is to join on a 4 year deal. The Frenchman will sign for £6m with arsenal easing off him to sign upson for £4m.

A regular reader of this site I have never posted before as never had real info but yesterday an amazing coincidence happened. On sunday 16th i was just off high street kensington at around 11.30 am. As i was loading stuff out of the car. who do i see walking past but David Gill himself. I said to him please make sure United do well to which he replied "well we have a massive game today", we laughed and agreed it would be tough but should get a result. Just as he began walking away i asked "any signings in jan? he smiled and said unfortunately NOT. I sighed with disappointment and he looked me the eye and said "i assure you there will be new faces in the summer" he seemed really genuine. He carried on walking and i quickly shouted what about Qatar holdings takeover, he turned smiled and shrugged his shoulders and continued to walk down the road - make of that what you will but i felt it suggested it might be on the cards.
Just one more thing a lot of people may dislike him but he actually seemed really friendly and could be bothered to sacrifice 30secs of his time to respond to a united fan in the street.
Anyway to sum up - there is NO ONE coming in Jan FACT!

Barnsley fans stop getting up tight about who is and whos not about to slip on a red shirt. This week will see movement in and out of the club faster than the local whippet.
There will be two players brought in, yes in time for our trip to play the Swans.
