Doncaster rovers news:-
Ins:-
Ian Hume intill end of season and also coppinger is coming back
out:-
Coterill is being watched by alot of championship clubs and also gary woods is wanted by everton and other clubs

Hope Iain does sign to end of season but
rumour is it depends if we can afford his relative high wage demands.

Can't see David Cotterill moving away at
the monent. Rumours say there are a number of clubs watching the Iain Hume
saga, both home and in Canada.

He will cost more than donny can pay so forget it he is on the move to canada

Gary woods wanted by Everton? Why? Barely good enough for league 1 never mind prem

Mikael Forssell lined up to replace Wes Thomas at Pompey if he is recalled to Bournemouth by Eddie Howe

18 Oct 2012 17:35:48
Portsmouth's administrators have nominated Portsmouth Supporters Trust (PST) as their preferred bidder to take over the League One club

18 Oct 2012 17:29:17
Portsmouth Supporters Trust to be named as preferred bidders for the club and will issue prospective to it's supporters within the next 24 hours. Pompey will become the largest fan owned club in the UK

Being a bit previous-again!

Firstly, there is a big question mark about whether you can raise the funds needed.

Secondly, your offer to Chanrai to pay off his loans has not been accepted and he will fight hard against that, so how will PST or the administrators be able to fund a costly legal battle?

Meanwhile, the costs of the administrator is going up and up.

Unless some new potential owners enter the scene it very much looks like liquidation. And there must come a time when the Football League puts and end to this farce as other sides in League 1 will run out of patience. Why should they be playing games against Pompey, risking injury to their players, when there is a strong possibility any results could be wiped?

Ref the above comment - Read the newspapers..........Portpin/Chanrai's bid will not be accepted, Portsmouth's Trust is the Administrators preferred bidder, their bid is fully funded and supportred by a local property developer in the short term. We are a long way from liquidation and next up, expect the threat of a points deduction to go away (would be the third in three years and league beginning to realise that the latest one is excessive). You must be a Saints fan!

Your right put it that way.

All club fans should be in it together no matter what club it is it's not fair hoping for a club to go how would you fell if you were a fan of a club like this.

Barnsley may have to sign John Rooney in January after they found that International Clearance has not gone through.

He's English so he doesn't need international clearance.
Haven't you ever played football manager? {Ed003's Note - He was playing abroad so international clearance is needed,jeez! }

Mick McCarthy is top of Burnley short-list to take over at Turf Moor, but the Clarets face competition from Bolton to land him.

DeLaRusso

Know where I'd rather go

Ye to burnley , no debt , no interferance from the board and a chairman who wont wield the axe after a couple of defeats !

Another bitter Burnley fan, get over it, it's nearly three years ago now.

Think he would prefer Burnley at least we are not 100 million in red and getting worse he might have £500 pound to spend at burnley.

McCarthy will not be joining the clarets , reason there is no money to be spent at all . not even on loans . the new manager will be a small time manager out of work

Yes i know this already , they had talks with him n probably realised his wage demands were too high for us , there for we will probably go for the cheap option ! #NOAMBITION!

Bolton owe £10m to the bank and £100m to their owner Eddie Davies which is protected so with that in mind Burnley are a less viable option financially plus Bolton have the better infrastructure, new stadium, new youth academy, better squad, bigger fanbase. McCarthy would take both clubs back two steps rather than forward mind.

If the board are prepared to back him financially, they should go for McCarthy

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is set to sign five players in the next few weeks for January moves.
Middlesbrough goalkeeper Jason Steele held talks with Rodgers last week over a proposed £3 million deal for the New Year.
Rodgers is wanting to bring in a defender and it looks as though it could be Juventus player Andrea Barzagli. The 31 year old is rumoured to be unhappy with what's going on in Italian football regarding match fixing and would jump at a chance in English football.
Manchester City left sided player Aleksandar Kolarov is expected to be subject of a £5 million bid from the Anfield outfit after the former Lazio player declared his desire to play more first team football.
Danish club OB have recieved an offer for their young striker Rasmus Falk. The 20 year old has impressed Rodgers over recent years and despoite signing a new long term contract at the club, a bid worth £3.5 million is expected to go un-noticed.
The final iron in the fire is Internacional forward Leandro Damiao. The Brazil international is wanted by a number of European giants but could sign a five year deal at Anfield.

Jason steele is a better keeper than jack butland so i cant see him going for £3 million even though boro are skint .a bid of £4-5 million is more likely ,and lfc or another ,will get the best young english keeper there is.

Absolute tripe!

Why on earth would any club commit to selling players now for January? That would only minimise income for the selling club.

You are confusing Fantasy Football with realistic rumours.

Bristol City are expected to bring in a defender with one also leaving Ashton Gate.
Young Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom is expected to sign until the New Year. The Anfield club see Wisdom as a future star but feel the 19 year old needs some more first team experience.
The defender leaving is Welsh player James Wilson. Wilson is expected to sign for Sheffield Wednesday until the transfer window opens, where a permanent deal will be struck.

No chance he has been playing in the first team and playing well he will not be going on loan to any crap team

City have just signed Mcmannus and fontaine will never be dropped so cant see this being true

As wisdom is a right back having mcmanus and fontaine has nothing to do with it. the lad has impressed me for liverpool this season so i highly doubt this one will go through, especially as we have mark wilson and rickie foster anyway. (and before people moan, i know andre can play centre back but hes played right back so far)

Wilson to Doncaster on Monday not Evan on the ench today

It's Monday and Wilson is still at City

He is going to Sheffield united by this weekend

Levy has refused to allow Blackburn to speak with Sherwood - that is being reported this morning. Not being reported is the news that Sherwood and Levy spoke at length and Levy warned Sherwood that the Blackburn job is a poisoned chalice. There is no money to spend and Sherwood would have to cope with existing resources. The indications are that Sherwood was never 100% keen on taking the Blackburn job anyway.

Rovers have 2 other candidates on their shortlist: Holloway and Peter Reid, with Reid the favourite because Blackburn wont have to pay a "transfer" fee for Reid. Reid is also adept at managing a club with no or little money.

Reid wants the job and may be appointed as early as Friday

Don't want Peter Reid, or holloway or intact sherwood, would like to see Karl Robinson or Keith Hill back at blackburn

Blackburn do not want someone there just to test tge water or an out and out failiure like reid the man who could turn gold into sand and single malt back to water
