LFC NEWS!!

Rafa and the team had a meeting this morning with new chairman martin broughton and managing director christian purslow which they outlined the current situation concerning the owners and the sale of the club. my source who is part of the first team told me that there is 4 very good bids on the table with DIC the main attraction, which has all the players buzzin. Broughton told them that the window is still very much open for any new potential buyers untill friday may 28th and shortly thereafter the decision will be made on who will have been successful to buy the club. All the rumouers and speculation on players coming in and going out are completely wrong. but do expect big, VERY BIG signings in july/auguest, thank you and good night

Whoever said Tony Pulis was leaving Stoke to manage Wales..

I spoke to the man earlier and whilst he'd obviously be flattered to manage Wales, he's more than happy at Stoke and is already planning for next season.

What I can reveal is that Peter Coates is in preliminary talks with a British investor who is interested in buying his shares. Peter will stay at Stoke until the end of next season and then hand over control to either this new investor or another interested party.

If Wales do go in for a new manager, it will be either Mark Hughes (again) or Dean Saunders.

First to whoever said this

''stop all this talk of Torres going – The man loves LFC as a team and a city and, if there is one thing he has proved in the past, he is loyal – Look at how many years he spent at A. Madrid, stuggling practically alone up front and refusing to leave because he 'owed them' – Same with LFC – we brought a good quality player who is now regarded (when fully fit) as the best in the world.''

To all liverpool dreamers posting on here.
so your club is up for sale for an outrageous £800million!! those yanks really are taking you to the cleaners. you must all be bricking it considering what has happened with pompeys multiple "billionaire" owners this season.
dont waste your time posting rumours about who you will buy as why would Laurel and Hardy give who ever the manager may be any money to spend!!

arsene wenger now claims to be in a financial position to compete with chelsea.(notice how he doesn't mention manure!!)

i still don't think there will be many additions but as iv stated before

ins
gk – CRAIG GORDON ( wants to play for top 4 team and as arsenal are the only team with a clowns for goalies this seems a logical move)

cb – gary cahill ( wilshire on loan for next season)

cm – lee catermole ( to partner song )

cf – chamakh
cf – DAVID VILLA – will be announced before the world cup with eduardo going in the opposite direction

gallas to stay
cliche to be sold
silvestre to leave
campbell to stay
FABREGAS TO STAY

watch all this happen

Merida
Vela (Loan)
Eduardo
Possibility of Sagna aswell

Arsenal Ins:

Hart
Gregory Van der Wiel
Savic
Kjaer
Van der Vaart
Melo or Senna
Chamakh
Lacina Traore

Campbell and Gallas will both stay and sign new deals.

Next season Arsenal will have a bigger squad with alot more strength and depth cause injuries have killed us this season yet we have have managed to keep up with the rest at the top, I'm not predicting all these transfers will happen but I think Wenger has finally learnt his lesson this season and will need to spend if we are going to compete with the likes of Chelsea and United. It will be hard to keep a big squad happy but if we had one this year and van persie was fit all season we would have won the league already I truly believe that but that's football for ya. In Arsene we trust

Hi readers, i have heard a number of things which i thought i might share with you.

Firstly, with regards to Man Utd and their new striker. I can tell you that Sir Alex has shown a lot of interest in Amauri and has made him his number 1 transfer target in the summer. This could mean that Benzema is indeed on his way to the Emirates, as some rumours have suggested.

I can tell you also that there is also a lot of interest in Carlton Cole as well as Sunderland's Darren Bent. Apparently, Steve Bruce wants to partner Cole with Darren Bent, but he faces a lot of competition from other clubs – such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd. As for Darren Bent, he is being targeted by Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Aston Villa , Man City and perhaps more surprisingly, Barcelona.

For Liverpool fans, i have heard that it is very likely Gerrard will stay. As for Torres there has been a lot of rumours linking him with the usual suspects. However i have it on good authority that he is happy at Liverpool and wants to stay. Though i did hear that he was a little bit miffed about the lack of transfer activity in the January transfer window. Rumour has it, Rafa Benitez has made David Villa his top target for the summer, which will likely keep Torres happy. With regards to the left wing, i have heard that he would like to sign David Silva – depending on his finance – and Arda Turan.

A deal that nearly is complete is Ribery to Real Madrid. This is not dependant on Bayern's performance in Europe and is something that i can assure readers will happen this summer.

Finally, there have been some rumours that Lavezzi will be joining Newcastle for £7–10 million. Sorry Toon fans, but i have not heard of any interest in the player from Newcastle. Furthermore, he commands an asking price of £20 million and there will no doubt be an offer made for him this Summer. Chelsea, Inter and AC Milan are all known to be interested.

Hope you enjoyed reading my info!

There really is alot of nonsense posted on this site from people blatently trying to wind up opposing fans.
This information was given to me by someone closely affiliated with some of the capitals key players'.
Liverpool FC has obviously been put up for sale by Hicks and Gillett with an agreed 'reserve' price of £475 million. This price has been agreed upon by the owners and the banks as it is not only affordable to those in the frame to takeover, but also represents a large profit for the Americans.
The job for Martin Broughton is to acheive the best deal for the club and the owners (who obviously want a bidding war).
3 Parties have already enquired about the asking price, with 2 expected to return in the coming weeks with an offer and outline for taking the club forward.
One of these parties has made it clear that Rafa is not in their plans and money would be set aside to relieve him of his duties. This interest has come from none other than Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The other interested party has given no indication of what their plans would be regarding Rafa. This interest is from Nasser Al–Kharafi.
The third party to ask about the club is believed to be a consortium of far eastern investors, but they were apparently put off by the interest from the middle east.
That is where the sale stands currently, Martin Broughton is waiting to hear back from those interested parties before deciding whether to move forward with one of them or to continue searching.

My guess is that Sheikh Mohammed will be the owner of the club before July, he has had many opportunities to buy other clubs but has always maintained his desire to buy Liverpool. He is a fan and knows what restoring the club to past glories would do for his, and Dubais reputation.
This however is just my oppinion, what was posted above is fact.

I have heard from a source inside arsenal that Arsene has said the 4–3–3 inst working. He will sign a new 3 year contract so he can finish successfully at Arsenal.

Lloris/Hart/Neuer

There are reports in Spain that Arsenal may go for Benzema but AW won't want to do buisness with Madrid as they will be looking Fabregas.

Sorry mate but gallas won't be doing any swap as he is a free agent by then that means free to join anyone he wants so arsenal don't have a say in where he goes.

Toulalan will come in as will hazard, Chamakh, Van der Wiel and there has been talk around the stadium of a few more youngsters not any names as yet. Arsenal have got to sort out player wages with all of the above and we all know wenger tight on the wage funds.

Arsenal will announce the signings of Lloris from Lyon for Eduardo and about 8m as well as Chamakh from Bordeaux at the end of the season. This is why Eduardo was left out of the squad against Wigan despite not being injured. Wenger has also said himself we will announce deals at the end of the season (note plural so not just Chamakh).

CHELSEA FC
Chelsea have shown great interest in Palermo striker Edinson Cavani. Chelsea look to offer £17M for the number 7. Anchelotti has had several scouts look at Caveni over the season. However, they do face competition from Mancheater City and Manchester United. Chelsea are in the lead to sign the striker.

WEST HAM UTD
West Ham have been looking at buying Espanyol winger/striker Jose Callejon. The 23 year old looks set to leave Espanyol as the team is having financial problems. Espanyol will want an offer for around £4.5M but West Ham is looking to strike a deal for much less than that.
Carlton Cole is on a list of possible transfers for Bayern Munich. But if West Ham stay up, they will not want to let Cole go. Also, Ilan looks set to join West Ham on a permenant basis as he has impressed the two Davids, the fans and more imprtantly Zola.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
harry Redknapp is interested in signing Boas Myhill from Hull for a sum in the region of £1.5M.

EVERTON FC
Everton are after 18 year old Kevin de bruyne from Racing Genk. A bid in the region of £1M is expected.

PNE NEWS

Once again the money man at the club Trevor Hemmings has tried to buy chairman derek shaws shares, and once again shaw has refused to sell. Choosing instead to ride the TH money wave to the prem.

He can't see however that there will be no wave to ride if he does not sell, as TH will not bankroll the club unless he 100% ownership or the other shareholders put in money too.

A stormy summer ensues at Deepdale.

Have just received some very important information with regards Steve Coppell and the Bristol City job. Seems like he is going to turn the club down due to some unforseen circumstances in connection with the contract he was offered.

Liverpool fc
in the summer rafa will get 20mill from the new shirt sponsor and 20mill from the owners.

20mill will go on mata or silva

and the other 20mill will go on a striker(maybe higuain)

babel will be swaped with turan

riera, benayoun, cavalieri, degen and maybe skrtel will be sold.

the money made sales(and the money from the sale of dossena and voronin in jan) will go on a left back(taiwo or kolarov) and a young cheap right mid( lee –bolton), if skrtel is sold a centre back will be brought in(kjaer or cahill).

19 Apr 2010 14:59:41
LFC News– The sale of the club was agreed, in principle, weeks ago, however, the new owners had started to drag their heels a little, waiting to see if the Pool qualified for the Champions League place. Now this seems impossible, the individuals where looking to re–negotiate and, as is the way with the Yanks, they got greedy and made the sale public, in the hope it would force the bidders hand – This has not worked and has resulted in a 'take or leave it' final offer in the region of £500m – Believe it or not, the Yank want closer to £800m but will be forced to accept for two reasons : 1) It still represents a good profit for both 2) no–one else can or will match the current bid.
So, within the next 3 months, expect DIC to become the new owners – Their commitment is roughly as follows: 1) New Ground – current plans will be scrapped and a new 'super ground' will be built, which will be the envy of the world for many years – however, this WILL be a ground share with Everton (makes good business sense) : 2) New Manager – Rafa's image is the issue but don't expect the chosen one (highly thought of, but little loyalty) – Expect him to be British – Hodgson / O'Neil / Redknapp. : 3) Money for the squad – Not on the scale of Man City / Real Madrid, but sufficient to buy what we need i.e. left back, centre back, creative midfielder, winger and quality striker.

No–one 'big' will be sold, but expect 'sensible' sales i.e. to get rid of some of the more 'mature' and / or fringe players while they still have a reasonable value (Kuyt / Babel / Degan etc).

Personally, I believe Redknapp will be the choice for a few reasons : 1) English 2) Well liked / respected 3) Honest and has a personality 4)History of bringing the best out of some 'average' players 5) Excellent in the transfer market and finally 6) Because Spurs have quality players that could 'follow' to fill most the missing links (i.e. Bale, Daswon, Modric, Defoe, Lennon) – And before all the spurs fans jump up and down, no, I wouldn't expect them all to come !

So please, stop all this talk of Torres going – The man loves LFC as a team and a city and, if there is one thing he has proved in the past, he is loyal – Look at how many years he spent at A. Madrid, stuggling practically alone up front and refusing to leave because he 'owed them' – Same with LFC – we brought a good quality player who is now regarded (when fully fit) as the best in the world.

As for Gerrard – Don't believe for one minute he would leave, but personally, would not lose any sleep – Should cash in on him while we can. Not been great for the past season and a half and, with the type of player he is, will only get / look worse as he gets older.

Finally, my personal wish list:
Bale, Dawson, Defoe, Milner, Mata, Villa and Rooney (just to keep the bench warm) {editor's note – are you related to Redknapp? Only I have never heard anyone describe him as honest before!}

19 Apr 2010 15:06:36

Right,

I've been reading a pile of rubbish on here for a number of months, I have high contacts at Chelsea this, I know Joe Cole that. This is all rubbish, because we all know that you don't.

Onto some genuine facts.

Chelsea are NOT being sold, as Roman still loves the club, and is prepared to give Carlo a little bit of money. He's looking at £30 million plus any money he can get from sales.

Several reserves and first team players will be let go.

First team;

Hilario (Sporting Lisbon)
Belletti (Flamengo)
Ricardo Carvalho (Inter Milan)
Deco (Flamengo)
Michael Ballack (Inter Milan)
Joe Cole (Manchester City)

Carlo is looking at a number of players to replace those that are leaving and to reinforce the squad, which includes;

GK – Igor Akinfeev, Manuel Neuer, Rene Adler
DR – Maicon, Davide Santon, Sebastien Corchia
DL – Aleksandr Kolarov, Antonio Ogbonna
DC – Nevan Subotic, David Luiz, Gary Cahill, Ryan Shawcross, Breno, Lucio, Leandro Bonucci, Andrea Ranocchia

Arsenal tips:
GK: top target: Joe Hart. Alternatives: Manuel Neuer, Hugo Lloris, Sebastien Frey.
RB: Top Target: Micah Richards. Alternatives: Gregory van der Wiel, Cesar Azpilicueta, Nedum Onouha.
LB: nothing
CB: Top Targets: Mamadou Sakho, Gary Cahill. Alternatives: Serdar Tasci, Cristian Zapata, Brede Hangeland.

ACM: Top Target: Rafael vander Vaart. Alternatives: Sessegnon
RW: nothing.
LW: Top Target: Eden Hazard
CF: Top Target: Marouane Chamakh(done).

Arsene will sign 1 GK, 1CB and Chamakh for sure. He will be very keen to sign Hazard, and may opt for a second CB should Gallas also leave. this second CB would have to be able to cover at RB too.
my predictions:
Joe Hart 9m

Micah Richards 7.5m
Gary Cahill 8+Vela(loan 1 season)+Wilshere(loan 1 season).

Don't be surprised to see Arsenal make a move for Benzema if he leaves the Bernabeu. Before he left for Real it was reported that he was keen to work with Arsene Wenger and thus join arsenal over man utd due to the french influence.

The past few seasons have shown that certain players like Bendtner Eduardo and Rosicky just aren't gong to cut it, so if enough players leave don't be surprised if Benzema joins. He's fast, skilled and can finish which is exactly what wenger looks for.

Barca targets are as follows:
GK de gea 8 million or akinfeev free(jan 2011) or hugo lloris 16 million
LB gareth bale 15 million
LW frank ribery 40 million or david silva 30 million or ashley young 30 million
CB nemanja vidic 20 million (unlikely) or thomas vermaelen 25 million (unlikely) or ricardo carvalho 8 million or phillipe mexes 9 million
they will definately buy a GK and a CB and a LW they will bid up to 20 million for gareth bale and if it is accepted, they will sell maxwell and marquez to raise the money

Hearts are set to revamp the squad in the summer and are looking to sign Scott Arfield, Jim O'Brien and Roy O'Donovan. Kevin Kyle is a possibility along with Medhi Taouil from Jefferies' old club Kilmarnock.

These possible signings could make way for the likes of Goncalves, Stewart, Palazuelos, Nade, Witteveen, Mole etc

19 Apr 2010 14:34:54
Celtic could get rid of as many as 10 players or more at the end of the season, Naylor, McManus, O'Dea, Maloney, Brown, Samaras, Fortune, Hutchison, McGowan, McGeady(if there is a bid of £5million)Loovens, the only loan deal they would like to keep would be Robbie Keane if a deal could be arranged with Spurs ? Possible intrest in Conway of Dundee Utd, and Stokes of Hibs, andWallace and Concalves of Hearts, Fortune going because a waste of £3.8 million, Samaras, to lazy, Brown, not good enough.

Fernando Torres and his Family have all moved back to Spain, it is unknown to me whether this is just an holiday or if it is on a permanent basis but nonetheless they have packed a lot of personal items to take with them so it is anyone's guess. Before i heard this i had heard strong rumours that Barcelona will tie up the deal while he is away in South Africa. The only thing standing in the way of the deal is that Barcelona are concerned about his troubling knee injury, which suspiciously he had corrected yesterday, i have not heard a price yet although i have heard he will cost less than what Ibrahimavic cost them last season.

Fabregas another one of Barcelona's targets is mainly a smokescreen to cover up the Torres deal, which will be a huge relief to the Arsenal fans back in England, although a bid will be made for Fabregas this summer he will not join until next summer. Fabregas has been meeting Barcelona officials on numerous occasions trying to sort out personal details, one detail is that Fabregas is worried about being left on the Barcelona bench, this is the only stumbling block for the young Arsenal starlet! Barcelona have a 50 million Euro budget for Fabregas.

Aquilani and Torres definitely on their way out of Liverpool. Gerrard may yet resign himself to staying on and forsaking ever winning a league medal. Man City will go all out to sign Torres, but he won't be interested. He's likely to be in at Barca aftre the World Cup with Ibrahimovic and Henry being offloaded (AC Milan/Juventus and New York Red Bulls). Also likely to depart is Dirk Kuyt who is high on Juventus's wishlist this summer. As Benitez is heading for the Delle Alpi, expect this one to be his first major signing. Aquilani (£10–12m), Torres (45–£50m) and Kuyt (£8–10m) to generate funds for the new manager (Hughes or Hodgson) although only £30m will be made available for summer signings. Should a takeover be in place by Jan 2011 and LFC are in a competitive zone (ie within the top 6 and less than 8pts from 4th place), then additional funds could be available depending on the new purchasing consortium. Brede Hangeland, Carlton Cole, Scott Parker and Charles N'Zogbia are the favourite replacements. Expect a much more workmanlike team from Liverpool next season, with the focus being more on the team than a bunch of talented individuals.

PS) If Barca do win the Champions league, they will make a bid for Pepe Reina with Victor Valdes to move the opposite way. The revenue earned from the Champs league would finance the deal alone. Reina initially failed to make it as a youngster at Barca, but would relish the chance to return as the coveted No.1.

In response to this pile of rubbish. Firstly I do not think Aquilani has a great relationship with Benitez, so if he leaves I cannot see Aquilani following. Secondly Torres for 45–50 million, you have to be joking, Liverpool would not sell for less than 80 million and Barcelona are one team who would not spend that on a player period. Kuyt could well leave if Rafa goes, but given that Juventus will not even be playing European football next term, I also think that is highly unlikely. Finally with regards to Reina, he has just signed a new six year deal and although he has admitted he will return to Spain at some point, he has no intention of leaving Liverpool at the moment. Valdes has also been playing very well and Barcelona are very happy with him. Barcelona will sign either Ribery or Silva and I have by thoughts that David Villa could also end up there.

Onto real Liverpool rumours. The fact is nobody knows when we will be sold, but it will be within the next six months, so yes this year. The new chairman has stated funds will absolutely be available to the new manager without the need for sales. He has stated this. My guess is that we will have around 20 million plus sales. Who Rafa or indeed any new manager if Rafa decides to go will buy is just pure speculation. It will however likely include a left full back a centre back a left winger and a striker. It does not take a rocket scientist to work that one out.

19 Apr 2010 13:44:48
Man Utd:
Tosic will not be leaving Man U, and if anything does happen it will be another loan. Fergie to put out a couple of other youngsters on loan (Fabio, Rafael maybe, Wellbeck also touted). He sees these players as the possible future and with former youngsters like Nani starting to find their feet he will keep faith with his team building policy that has produced three seperate championship winning teams.

£40 million will be available to him to strenghten the holes. This provider a defender and a midfielder, with Afineev (spelling) coming in on a free in Jan (as so many people have said!!) Midfielder probably Milner, Silva or possibly Pienaar, leaving enough money for a world class defender. Expect fergie to battle Arsene for Sahko, and after failing in this will probably bring in whoever impresses in the next world cup.
Rodwell is another target.

Berbatov to be given until Jan, along with Carrick and Owen to prove themselves. Then the funds that can be freed up by any of these players leaving will replace like–for–like.

Arsenal:
Chamakh a gurantee, Sahko and possibly another young Dutch player to come in at the back. Rosicky will be given until January then could be replaced by Hamsik, Arsene is a long term admirer and £12–15 million could prise him away.

Arshavin is a possible out as he doesn't agree with Arsene's philopshy. Expect Man City to go for him if they get the Champions League. Rob Green or Lloris to come in for the outgoing Alumunia, he just ain't good enough.

All other normal contract ends (Gallas etc.) out as they do not fit into the plans of Arsene. Campbell is the exception as he has proved he still harbours a purpose at Arsenal.

Chelsea and Man City to spend about £100 mill between them, could see some interesting signings, Torres to either could be a strong possibility. Expect other players to be used in leverage (poss Santa Cruz or Anelka) to land him.

Newcastle:
A supposed £15million + sales have been made available. I would love for Lavezzi to get the nod (£7million) but might not happen. Could be gazumped by Arsenal as Arsene is an admiree. Macheda or Owen on loan after we are used as first bidders in an attempt to get Rodwell to United (as we were used with Rooney). Hutton from Tottenham (as Harry Redknapp said himself we had tapped him up) and possibly a couple of players from relegated clubs, Jamie Bullard could be a signing along with the exodus from Pompey that will probabaly happen. Senderos could come in, aswell as a possible Wilshere loan.

Steven Taylor could leave after the goings on with Andy Carrol, Liverpool could be a likely destination (8 or 9mill) with first option on Babel, Riera or a number of the players that are yet to prove themselves.

Omg would all the gers fans stop sayin we are going to buy bloody celtic fans for example reynolds (full family all celtic fans) steven fletcher he himself has commented about being a celtic fan.

rangers will get a buyer once the league is won at park head as with money coming in from winning the league and the champions league money the debt will be less than 10 million so the buyers will start bidding then..

expect rangers to get at least 10 million to spend and what ever they sell..

also lafferty will not be going anywhere as he is now starting to show form (about time) and he will be the target man upfront when boyd leaves..

wee story coming out of ayrshire is boyd has agreed contract to birmingham and thus the reason for him not playing full games and the recent drop in form.

expect bids for players the likes of goodwillie (good signing from dundee utd possible with webster going other way)
couple of bids for portsmouths players likes of yebda and bassina

rangers will win the treble next year and will look even better as celtics new manager won't be hughes he will reject celtic for stoke as tony pulis will be new celtic manager as he desires to manage in europe..

Michael Carrick had bought a house in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. A swap deal has already been agreed between Man Utd and Aston Villa with Carrick and £5m going one way and James Milner going the other.

A DEAL ALREADY MADE I CAN BELIEVE THOUGH IT WILL BE A GENTLEMANS AGREEMENT NOT CONCRETE, I WOULD ALSO EXPECT IT TO BE CARRICK PLUS 10M, BUT THE THING I DO NOT BELIEVE IS THAT HE HAS BOUGHT A HOUSE NEAR BIRMINGHAM, IT WOULD MAKE PERFECT SENSE FOR HIM TO STAY WHERE HE IS IN CHESHIRE, AFTER ALL BIRMINGHAM IS ONLY DOWN THE ROAD!

Arsenal fans GET REAL!! im one of u, but im so disappointed to see Arsenal fans who would normally be expected to retain a sense of rationality compared to the glory hunters of Man City, Chelsea and Real Madrid instead coming out with crazy player valuations and execting AW do go and buy 8–9 players. this will never happen. Fine, he'll spend more than he's ever spent before, but no where near to the figures that rise above £60m and so on. he knows where he has to strengthen and will do so sensibly, like he always does.
first thing's first. Fabregas stays. we are under no pressure to sell and he is on a long term contract. maybe in a couple of seasons time when Xavi's levels start to drop, but not yet.
players leaving on frees are: Silvestre, Senderos, Merida, Gallas and Gilbert. Wenger has tried to retain Gallas, but he's not going to sign. let him move on, his levels will drop sooner rather than later anyway, and his injury problems this second half of the season hardly inspire confidence.
Also leaving will be Fabianski who ranks alonside Francis Jeffers, Pascal Cygan and Junichi Inamoto as Wenger's worst ever signings. we will fetch around 2m for him if we'r lucky. Almunia will be kept on for 1 more season, then he'll go.
Armand Traore, who will never go above Clichy and Gibbs at left back is being considered as a make–weight to bring Mamadou Sakho to the Emirates. Wenger has admired Sakho for ages, and Traore wil jump at the chance to join boyhood club PSG.
Eduardo and Vela are likely to be sent out on loan. Eduardo needs more time to truly get over his injury nightmare, whilst Vela has simply not had any playing time. Wilshere will get another season at Bolton, Mannone will take his turn to go on loan to a championship club and sanchez watt will also spend another season out on loan.
sol campbell will be retained for another season, after which he will become one of Arsenal's defensive coaches.
Dont be surprised if one of Sagna or Eboue move on either. i have a feeling Eboue's inconsistency is starting to get to Wenger. i hope it doesn't happen cos we all need a joker around, but lets see. Jay Simpson is to be sold for 3m to QPR if they avoid relegation.
coming in:
A GK is obviously priority. there has been a lot of talk of Joe Hart recently on this site. personally i'd love to see it happen, he'd certainly be cheaper than the likes of Neuer and Lloris. Szczesny will also return from loan to become second choice, with Almunia 3rd.
In defence, with 3 CB going, 2 will be brought in. As mentioned, Sakho may well join from PSG. we will be priced out of the market for the likes of Subotic, and Boateng looks set to join City. i doubt we will go for Hangeland, who is approaching 30. the options for Wenger are: Gary Cahill, Serdar Tasci, Christian Zapata and Micah Richards. Richards would be useful as he could also cover RB to allow Eboue to move up the pitch. Tasci is unproven and Cahill, as an English CB under 25 will not come cheap at all. However interest in Gregory vdWiel has also been strong. he can play CB, but would flourish as a RB. I believe Wenger would choose Richards over VDW in the hope of rejuvenating his stagnating career.
Further, Djourou will return from injury and Nordveit will be promoted. Pedro Botelho will replace Traore by coming back from loan from Salamanca. Henri Lansbury will also be promoted.
In midfield there will be very little change. Wilshere will be out on loan and Ramsey is on the road to recovery. Galindo will arrive after securing his work permit. Eastmond will continue his development. Song needs cover, we know we are not the same team without him. Expect a temporary solution to be drafted in, ie either a loan signing or a player close to retirement. Senna for 3m sounds awesome.
Wenger is after Eden Hazard. it is obvious a bid will be made, lets hope he comes. Wellington Silva will boost our ranks in January.
upfront, Chamakh to come in for free and Sunu to be promoted.

Squad for next season
GK: Hart(9)Szczesny Almunia

Aleksandar Kolarov is on his way to Anfield. Rafa has tied up a deal with Lazio to sign him before the World Cup starts and his price shoots through the roof. Rafa has sign the Serbian for £13m plus Damien Plessis permanently and Krisztian Nemeth on loan. Benitez also wants to sign Juan Mata before the World Cup. He has been in negotiations with Valencia for 2 months, and although talks have been very little, Benitez wants to tie up the deal for Mata. He would probably command a fee of £20m, and Rafa will pay that, but he wants to put in Mikel San Jose to sweeten the deal. A £16m plus San Jose looks to be the deal.

Arsenal in for Joe Hart – c. £9m, de Melo £14m and Ogbonna for £8m

Juve want Vidic and will offer Manu Buffon + £15m (ridiculous, how many of these bizarre loan suggestions ever happen?)

Liverpool after Upson – £7–9m

Spurs want Pienaar for £14m

And according to those bastions of transfer accuracy, the Spanish press, the Barca boss recently met with Cesc Fabregas in Morocco

19 Apr 2010 08:41:03
Things to get worse at Anfield before they get better. Rafa has been told that any takeover will not happen before the start of the season, massively limiting the transfer budget. He will announce his departure to Juve after the end of the season. The new manager will have to wait until Jan to make any significant transfers but as we all know, the real business is done in the summer so its another year fighting for fourth place. Despite the scare–mongerring in the press, the top players will not be leaving as they know the rebuild will start, its just delayed. Torres is likely to miss the World Cup but will at least be fit and rested for the new season.

I have on word that Milner will be signing a new contract at Villa. Milner and Young will not be going anywhere and Carrick is not coming in as O'Neill sees Delph being much better though he just got injured, they have Sidwell and Reo–Coker already much better.

Ins
Owen – Free
Cardozo – 10m
Wilson – 5m (loaned to newly promoted club)
Westwood – 5m (loaned back to Coventry)
One top midfielder, don't know who that is yet.

Out
Sidwell – 5m Newcastle
Harewood – 3m Leeds
Albrighton – loaned to newly promoted club
Shorey – 5m Stoke, Fulham or Newcastle
Bouma – 2m back to Holland

Manchester United this summer :

As many saying we won't be spending much this summer also , as SAF said we need to add just one or two players to fill the gaps in the squad.

We won't be buying GK as Krusczuk ( sorry for spelling ) will be starting more and Akinfeev will be joining in Jan.

Berba will be given one last chance to prove till December and we already have backup strikers Hernandez , Owen & Diouf

All we need is a creative midfilder and SAF will be looking for Milner/Gourcuff as perfect choice.
No Silva/Hamsik/Villa/Benzema etc .

and a midfiled youngster like Ninis/Defour will be bought for future.

Thats it for this summer..

So these are new ones this summer

Smalling , Hernandez , Milner , Akinfeev and maybe Ninis/Defour

MUFC rocks ..

Moyes will be bracing himself for offers for Piennar, Rodwell & Arteta – all will be tempted away but will stay for another 2 seasons at least.

Expect the blues to enquire about the following :

Charles N'Zogbia
Shaun–Wright Philips
Darren Bent

We have young hungry strikers on loan – vaughan, Jutckwiekz. And also Coleman (execellent young RB). They will continue on loan next season and gain experience.

Players that may be sold :

Yobo – Newcastle, Lyon
Ruddy – Championship team

The spine of our team and our first 11 moyes is happy with, the lack of depth he is not. Hibbert, Billyaletdinov, Anichiebe will be kept as squad players. We can challenge top 3 or 4 with an excellent manager in moyes and a squad full of quality players who work hard.

EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB – THE TRUE PRIDE OF MERSEYSIDE.

P.S. – Rafa pleeeeeaaasssee don't go we love u at goodison – Your completley inept at man managing players, make terrible tactical changes, buy below average foreign jokes as players and cannot cope with injuries. The red shte will NEVER win the prem with u in charge so STAY FOREVER!!!

Michael Carrick had bought a house in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. A swap deal has already been agreed between Man Utd and Aston Villa with Carrick and £5m going one way and James Milner going the other.
