Hull City in talks with Newcastle "Bad boy" Joey Barton.
  Rangers real targets:

Tonel deal will not happen guys. There is no money in piggybank & only way this would happen was if Boyd were to leave (nobody's biting our hands off to take him are they?) No it will be a Charlie Adam swap for St Mirrens Billy Mehmet and i am led to believe a loan deal for an Italian striker out of favour at his club. Now i cannot say anymore as this came from inside the imperious walls of Ibrox Stadium. He is no donkey, over 30 etc etc. He will be here as long as we are in Champions League, so he'll likely be back in Italy before Santa arives. Talk are ongoing with Lord Walter of Cardigan.
I just walked past Peter Crouch (hard to miss him, eh, he's massive) and he was on his mobile. I SWEAR he said 'but that's exactly my point, Arsene i can't wait'. that's all i caught, but on my goldfishes life (grans already dead), i'm SURE that's what he said.
Then, on the bus, i realised he wouldn't be a bad replacement for Adebayor, for half the cost. It all falls into place.

Doesn't affect me anyway, I'm a Torquay fan!

Liverpool have completed the sale of Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid, to be confirmed as soon as Real Sociedad are entitled to none of the fee. This money will be spent on one big name signing. Rafa has more or less achieved his balanced team, he has said he needs only three more players. expect these players to arrive as well being priced at under £10m each.

Befor i get to a couple of rumours ,
This site just seems to be Man u,liverpool, arsenal & Villa supporters dreaming ! bitching & bullsg. Man u – Madrid & Man city are grabbing your players, get over it ! as for the gooners, your time is up,no more top four for u, ha–ha !Liverpool bitching about Owen going to UTD,so what,u diddnt want him,and as for your so called MAIN MAN stevie g,why do u have to keep renewing his contract evry year to keep him happy, sounds well loyal to me (not).and as for u Villa supporters saying "why would young go to Spurs, their not even in europe". What a load of crap,we have been in Europe for the last 4 years and the UEFA CUP is shite, all u play is a shite team on a thursday night!the chmp lge is the only real uefa cup!!
Right now,SPURS IN : CROUCH 12M

DAWSON 5.5M
HUTTON (LOAN)
Burnley have agreed a fee of around 1.4M with newcastle for Habib Beye.
I swear on my own life I am not trying to wind you up. My manager at work is mates with John Terry's dad and asked him about the situation with John Terry. He told him that there is still a good possibility of him going Man City even after this U.S tour; and that he is personally urging his son to move due to the wages he will get.

I know i would personally urge my son to go for that money so don;t rule out Terry moving to Man City
Tottenham to sign Newcastle`s Joey Barton.
Hrry reckons he can turn Barton into a world beater and get him on the plane to the world cup next year.
West ham fans can look forword to a loan deal, which will bring in uruguayan forward Marcelo Zalayeta from zola's old club Napoli. Zalayeta the 30 year old much loaned striker is look for a chance to play in england.
Liverpool will confirm the departure of Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid before the pre–season fixture against Thailand XI. The total cost of the transfer will be £32million. Liverpool will use this money to sign David Silva for £20million and the remaining £12million will be put towards Alberto Aquilani of Roma along with another £4million from the transfer budget. Another striker could be signed depending on other departures and funding from the owners. Trust me, all of this will definately happen.
No RFC spend yet this pre season term because Sir David has been awaiting the crossing of the T's on appointment of General Manager Denis Wise. Thisa along with concurrent appointmnet of Tony Jiminez will see Gers tap into affordable European Market. Goughy also to be brought back to the club in ambassadorial role with similar places found for Scott Nisbett and other heroes of the 92 wunder season.
  RUMOURS

ARSENAL: Marouane Chamakh is a certainty to sign but he will not slot into the first XI. The DM issue is far from clear; Arsene has a number of targets but has yet to move for any of them. Matuidi and Momo Sissoko of Juventus are the main two in the frame, but Arsene is wary of signing two African players with the ACN in January.

CHELSEA: Terry stays. No doubt about it. He won't get a pay rise though. The blues will sign one more player – Pato for 50m.

LIVERPOOL will sign Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneider in exchange for Xabi Alonso. No cash will be involved at all in the deal.

SPURS will sign Ashley Young for David Bentley, Jermaine Jenas and cash.

MAN CITY are not finished yet. They are negotiating a deal for Maicon of Inter Milan. Elano + a colossal 35m will see the full back at Eastlands.

Latest talk of Ash. Young is that MON WILL let him go to anyone as the final fee will be in excess of £30m. He is wanted by the big 4, Man.Cty, Everton, Spurs, Barca., Real, etc. So a bidding war will take place. Silly as it seems bids will start at £25m and move forward quickly. Villa fans need not be worried as last season after MON told him he was a genius, he believed it, and his performances dropped off and could have been a reason why Villa slipped so badly. MON has a lot of interest in people like Huddlestone, Bent, Jenas, Naughton, Lescott, Walker, King, and as he plays his cards so close to his chest no one is sure where he will go next. Downing is to be used as a left sided midfield, preferably in the attacking half of the pitch. A final offer will be put in for Delph but Bates may well ignore the offer. Shame as the lad needs a break in the Prem. And a final move will be for Mrs Beckham. Problem is Birmingham aint Rodeo Drive, but her poodle is keen to try his luck at VP. Out of VP will go Reo Coker, Knight, Storey, Gardener, Sidwell, Salifou. All are failing to impress MON, but all are his failures at transfer levels.
  BREAKING NEWS
Aston Villa have agreed an 8m deal to sign F Delph from Leeds Utd
Athletico madrid will make a 10mil bid for Ryan babel. Liverpool will hae the option to buy him back for 17mil in 2 years time. Albert Riera will be going to Valencia for 10mil. Arbeloa will got to Madrid for 5mil and Alonso to Madrid for 28mil

Liverpool will sign Ashley Young for 22mil and David Silva for 18mil. Hamsik will also join for 20mil as will Ruud van Nistelrooy for 2mil as back up.
Right not really rumours just who i think would make the most sense to buy (if we had the cash!) oba martins 6 mil from newcastle, guiterez 4 mil newcastle, gudjohnson or bojan loan from barca and some form of left back as cover for iilunga maybe shorey 2–3 mil from villa? i doubt the mancini deal will happen but you never know do ya!   A rumour that won't please too many Arsenal fans.

I have a mate who works on the corporate side at Arsenal – not too close to the football business, but obviously they still get a bit of the buzz about what's going on at the club. They don't always know 100% what's going on, but I reckon they're better connected than most.

Anyway, he tells me that Arsenal are pretty much done in the transfer market this summer. Wenger had put a big bid in for Felipe Melo earlier in the month for about £10m + Eboue (as was reported in the press), but his valuation of Eboue was somewhat above what Fiorentina thought he was worth. Fiorentina asked Arsenal to the negotiating table, but apparently they never even returned their calls, something that has slightly annoyed the Italians.

Adebayor was always on the market, both this summer and last summer, but apparently not to balance the budget – there are a few guys in the team who don't like him, and whilst Wenger rates him very highly, he wasn't good for chemistry, and Manchester City's offer was too good to turn down.

However, the overriding feeling is that Arsene intends to grow the club from the inside next season, which will be bad news for all those gooners who have been so underwhelmed by the likes of Denilson and Bendtner recently.

Anyway, this might not be total gospel truth, but it comes from inside the club, so make of it what you will.
Barnsley will go on abit of a spending spree in the upcoming week (week beginning 20th July) here are the buys!

Kevin Phillips (Loan, option to sign next season)
Adam Hammill (£550,000)
Charlie Adam (£500,000)
Jahidi (Free)
Haha all u guys going on about ash young are funny –– i know ash i played in youth academy at watford with him –– hes told me hes going no where –– he finds all the speculation rather amusing though and is flattered by the ¨supposed¨interest of manchester
With Everton set to miss out on Joleon Lescott, they could switch their attentions to Liverpool's Daniel Agger or possibly even Inter's Walter Samuel.
Meanwhile Benitez is interested in taking Michael Johnson away from Man City where his chances will be limited with a £4.5 million offer for the young English midfielder imminent after the impending sale of Alonso. Alonso's £32 million sale to Madrid will also see David Silva join Liverpool for £22 million from Valencia whilst Javi Martinez will arrive at Liverpool for £8 million. Michael Johnson will complete Benitez' spending unless the manager can find a low priced striker. Failure to do this will lead to Babel being entrusted more as well as Voronin being kept despite his loan away last season.

First things first all these rangers fans teling us what walter thinks dream on, walter has proven in past he doesn't rate the younger players but due to money worries we'l see them get a chance like most other teams in uk(not epl)so he doesn't think his youth are good enough he's just got no cash so he stuck wi them .

wee rumour that he will only recruit if free transfers come up,celtic to sign not much either as ther tight ship mentality won't allow cash to be spent above 8 million 6 more than what walter has (another rumour only)

Spurs to develop links with Notts County after their recent take over to give younger players a chance of 1st team football.

Obika and Pekhart to go on loan to solve their striker shortage.
To all rangers fans in denial. There is a very real possibility of administration. They have been haemmorraging cash for years and now in the last week have lost 5 million a year from tv deals and sponsorship expect davis and bougherra to be sold to balance the books and keep the banks happy for a couple of weeks.

expect Celtic to sign janko (5 million) and fox from coventry (1.5Million) and win back the league although the same team from last season would have been good enough to win it this year
  Notts County have signed

Jack Lester for 100k
dave carney loan
adam kay loan

all announced on monday
Due to the upcoming 6+5 rule arsene wants some english players for the team these will be

adam johnson 4 mil

kevin nolan 2 mil
carlton cole 2 mil + gallas

these along with walcott, wilshere and gibbs will provide adequate english players.Frimpong,Lansbury
and sanchez watt wil be promoted from the reserves.

Arsenal will also sign Mesut Ozil 8 mill + senderos, Neuer 6 mil sakho 12 mil, arda turan 8 mil and Matauidi 4 mil gokhan inler 6 mil + eboue.
Gers facts so far. . .

Fergie is gone as of last night (Birmingham)
Dailly is on trial at Blackpool
Hemdani, gone
Adam, as good as gone
Bourgie is going nowhere (happy in Glasgow, and Laurent Blanc has dropped his interest because of this fact)
With the exception of big Kirk, Beasley & S Smith, next seasons 1st team squad will look the same as last years, although Aaron, Fleck and Lennon will get their chance
Only player in will be Tonal from SL to link with Madjid in central defence

Plenty there to retain the SPL and possibly progress to last 16 in Europe, regardless of the draw

Happy days Bears !

Billy Davies is continuing his hunt for new defenders and he is now turning his attention to a double swoop for Callum Davidson and Youl Mawéné.

Claude Davis has signed for Nottingham Forest and it will be announced next week.
Former Glasgow Rangers midfielder Bob Malcolm is set to sign for Nottingham Forest from A–League side Brisbane Roar.

Malcolm was signed by Billy Davies in his Derby County days, and the SCottish manager has always been a keen admirer of the player.

A fee of £250,000 is expected.
Glenn Hoddle to be appointed Notts County director of football next week

In response to; "To the deluded Everton 'trainee' who said he saw "ashley young pull up in his 60,000 BMW and begin to walk into finch farm" – first if you gave out this info they'd sack you so don't know wat you're training to be. Second if it was Young then he was only asking directions to Old Trafford – he's unfortunately gonna sign for Utd."

Well you are welcome to him mate; clearly he operates at the required intelligence levels for Old Trafford if he needs to stop in Liverpool for directions to Manchester!
Leeds United made profits last season of around 11mil. Admittedly, a lot of this has been reinvested back into the Elland Road rennovations. But Batesy seems to have squeezed 4mil out of Chelsea after a tribunal ruled in his favour over the poaching of Micheal Woods and Tom Taiwo.
So, Millwall fans, Leeds could probably buy Zak Whitbread about a dozen times. But you are right, they will not sign him. He is not good enough.
Sam Sodje deal near completion on the other hand, for him to return to Leeds, possibly as a replacement for Manuel Rui Marques. Its not really a difficult choice for him really is it; Millwall, Cardiff or Leeds?

Everton is trying to sign swedish national Rasmus Elm from swedish champions Kalmar FF for £5mil.

Apparently Blackpool are on the verge of signing Adebayo Akinfenwa for 100k from Northampton Town as he has fallen out with the manager Stuart Gray
Brian howard is going to rangers from sheffield utd. for a undisclosed fee. .
Birmingham City rumours posted recently that are a joke. We will not be signing Joey Barton and Nicky Butt, Butt was useless the last time we were relegated, and now we have Fergie we don't need Barton. Kevin Phillips will not be leaving on a fee transfer to Barnsley, not this year anyway. He is being kept for the last year of his contract as promised by Big Eck.
I was just walking through Whorlton Grange and just saw Mike Ashley driving his merc with Stan Collymore in the passenger seat! They were coming out of the Westerhope golf club.
God no, i hope they're just mates, we've suffered enough at NUFC.

Mills and Fox look set to join Billy Davies´ revolution at Nottingham Forest. A deal worth 2 million for Mills and 2.2 mil for Fox looks to be on the cards. Majewski, the Polish international, looks set to be brought in on loan.

The rumours surrounding Claude Davies moving to Forest are complete rubbish. The defender is interested in a move to Crystal Palace – if Nigel feels his Derby squad can do without the player (who is contemplating a reduced wage offer from the club).

Derby will not be chasing Barnsley´s Jon Macken, after splashing their transfer budget on Shaun Barker.
Stoke City transfers news (not gossip):

Stoke will tie up deals within the next 7 days to bring Zoran Tosic in on a season long loan, and a surprise move for Wigan's out of favour Marlon King for £4m.

Ibrahima Sonko will join Crystal Palace for £1.2m and Michael Tonge will be loaned back to Sheff Utd, initially until January.

Rumours that Nikola Zigic is joining Stoke are not necessarily untrue, but the deal is proving very difficult and may eventually collapse. The deal for Dean Ashton is being kept on the back–burner until Zigic is sorted hence no announcement as yet.

Spurs are still keen on Ryan Shawcross and despite rebuffing an initial approach, £8m + add–ons might convince Stoke to part with their prize asset – Stoke have already lined up a move for Robert Huth as a replacement for Shawcross, should the Spurs offer prove too tempting. Competition for Huth comes from Wigan and Kaiserslautern.

Stoke also have an agreement with Newcastle to sign Habib Beye before the transfer window closes, but are in no rush to rubber stamp the deal as they are also considering younger options from an un–named Championship club.

Finally Joe Ledley will not join Stoke as Cardiff are holding out and using offers from various clubs against each other. Pulis will pull out leaving Ledley to choose between Wolves and Bolton.
Forest close in on Claude Davis and Jay McCeverly are poised to join the Red revolution this week. My mate at Clifton as said Forest have turned to Claude Davis, available on a free from Derby County and have had a £500,000 offer accepted for McCeverley by Derby.
Sam Sodge Free (wants to stay with his family in London were he is from)

City will buy Terry, he is looking for a new challenge and sees them as a possible title win in 2/3 years. City WILL break into the top four, stay there and it WONT become a top 5 because Arsenal will fall out because of Wengers 'buy 3 year olds' policy.

MUFC
INS
–David Silva/Young (they need left winger)
–Douglas Costa (Fergie will go for him)
–Either Dzagoev/Aguero (probs Dzagoev, cheaper, younger and much more versatile)
–Experienced battler in midfield such as Essien, who wants to move, De Rossi (unlikely), Yaya Toure.

OUTS
–Probably none, but who knows
–––––––––––––––––––––
LFC
INS
–They won't buy David Silva, anyone who thinks they will is silly, they have two decent left wingers already (Babel, Riera) with Babel being a good prospect at only 22.
–They may get Hamsik, but only if Alonso goes, which is like a 98% chance now.

OUTS
–Alonso (98% chance)
–––––––––––––––––––––
CFC
INS
–Don't think they will sign anyone, simply because they don't really need anyone, unless players leave. Ibra seems to be going to Barca in swap for Eto'o.
–They have enough cover for Terry if he goes (likely) in Alex and Carvalho. If Ancelloti doesn't rate these he will buy other, don't see why.

OUTS
–Only Terry
–––––––––––––––––––––
AFC
INS
–Marcus Berg/Mauro Zarate/Luis Suarez/Gomis or Briand, last two likely because they're French.

OUTS
–Adebayor, almost done deal, having medical at Eastlands.
–––––––––––––––––––––
Don't see why City need another striker though, they have Bellamy, Robinho, Tevez, Santa Cruz (Satna lol), Caicedo, Bojinov, Evans and Jo (on loan at Everton) so that's 9 (including Ade) if Hughes keeps all of them, this is after Tevez was complaing about two much competition at United with 5/6 strikers, so basically he's just greedy.
