Former Norwich striker Oli Johnson is set to sign for league one side Walsall on a deal until January(14)(7)Hope so, the lads a good player, he deserves regular football somewhere, natural goalscorer, well he was few year ago in the amatuer league when he bagged 9 against us!Of course he is still a norwich player. Good player. I wish him well.

Bristol citys nicky maynard wants to leave in january no matter what cost said the manager.(20)(17)He had his chance, Southampton will go elsewhere in the window. Expect a PL fringe youngster to get on the bus.

18 Sep 2011 21:33:41
Leon Clark Will Sign For Chesterfield Fc , He Has Had Superb Start At Chesterfield , Scoring 4/5 goals and scoring a hat-trick againt carlisle (CUFC)(7)(17)With Leon Clarke scoring regulalry i would imagine more clubs will be in for him in January.Have Chesterfield got the money to pay the wages, you are only paying 40% of his wages at the moment and Town forked out a substancial signing on fee which they will want to recoup.... I can see him going to a championship club for around 300K

Sheffield Wednesday set for another takeover as current owner Milan Mandaric looks to cut his losses.(9)(17)

Any takeover will depend on where Sheffield Wednesday finish this season.

Milan will want to get more money back than he put in, so if Sheffield Wednesday get to the Championship it's very likely he will sell up job done. If no promotion then he'll stick it out for one more season.

There are a few interested parties - expect more movement after Christmas.Great newes its trueNo body wanted them before, so nobody will want a poor team, with a run down ground and fickle fans..Don't expect to see any movement on this until the new year, chaps. It is happening but as said depends on where the club is at the end of the season. Also Milan's health is poor.

brent was one who got risdale to get reid sacked so it looks like risdale could be staying carl fletcher could be manager for 3 games.(7)(11)To all plymouth fans get rid of ridsdale

Manchester City are in talks to bring three players to the Etihad for January. Esteban Cambiasso could join after City have already struck a deal with the Argentina midfielder. Mancini is still keen on bringing some experience in their spine and sees Cambiasso as somebody who can change a game. Experienced defenders Giuseppe Biava from Lazio and Felipe from Fiorentina are also interesting Mancin.(17)(12)Yes very average players you have there! This post is a boo hoo we couldnt beat Fulham. Get a life.Cambiasso - has always been known as someone who can change a game.... not!You really are very dim and obvioulsy know nothing about football!

18 Sep 2011 19:41:24
Manchester United will hold talks with Barry Bannan from Aston Villa over a possible move for January. Alex Ferguson is keen on bringing in another midfielder and the young Scottish playmaker could see a £10 million deal struck in January. 20 year old Peter Pawlett from Aberdeen could also see a pre contract deal struck in order for a three year contract to be signed for next summer. 23 year old Marc McAusland from St Mirren and young East Sirling striker Jordyn Sheerin is also causing interest from Ferguson.(9)(28)I'd snap their hands off....he was usless yesterday and left us wide open with his lack of defencive qualities, poor disicipline and un willingness to track back.Bannan was fantastic vs Newcastle.
There is no way he'd leave Villa when he owes Villa so much. Big Eck puts him on more than even Albrighton!.
Bannan is worth more £20m atm anyways.
Bannan still has 4 1/2 years left on his contact anyway. That cos he at villa! Man u would look at what needs working on and make him a better player but if that all he missing from his game it can be sorted before getting on his back how about u look at how he being looked after at your club if u can see what wrong why can your back room staff not ????Bannan £20m your having a laugh, saw him at Elland Road last season and he is average at best, i agree Man Utd do turn good players into outstanding players (smalling) but they is not that talent there with BannanBarry Bannan was at leeds lest year and he was rubbish. Why on earth would Man U sign such a carp player?Crap u sure man utd would sort him out pace vision he has got something there trust me on that and smalling was always going to be good but man u do take players to next level , ye ye u watch him and he was crap what did he have round him don't talk stupid loads of players been loaned out to lower poor sides and not done anything but get them playing with class And it rubs off welbeck , cleverly playing with class has brought them on no endLook ive seen this boy afew times and he has all the potential to be world class trust me his vision for a pass is amazing he will go far but i cant see him leaving villa just yet..Way things going at man utd tho it only place for a player like him to be he will get a game will be pushed and worked on what is needed what he will not get at villaYou utter muppet villa have always been known for producing some good young players villa.s youth is exceptional there youth team crushed arsenals youth 10 .1 last season stop talking rubbish they have some well respected football men who really do work hard on producing talented players.

18 Sep 2011 20:14:05
James McFaddon to the Posh on loan for the rest of the season.(3)(33)He is on a free for a start, and is training with everton next week to prove his worth but also has an offer from wolves which he will accpept if everton dont offer him oneFor starters he is on trial at birmingham and is going to sign a new contract thereFor starters one of the fisrt two replys is wrongHe's training with Birmingham, not sure if he'll be offered a contract or not. He won't got to Posh. He'll see himself as too big for a club of that size (rightly or wrongly!)At the Posh game in the main stand on Saturday,Barry Fry still has connections with the Brum.If he's a free agent and not signed for anyone , how can he be on loan? Who is he on loan from ??

18 Sep 2011 19:56:11
Mr Brent the man trying to buy Plymouth has suggested The Club try to entice Paul Sturrock back to the Club after the axing of Peter Reid. Brent is trying to steady the ship off the pitch and hopes Sturrock can steady things on it.(7)(17)Can't see Sarfend being happy then...

A thought - wouldn't Ridsdale like to offer his old chum David Jones a job?

18 Sep 2011 19:38:06
all the leeds storys are true simon gryson will be in charge of blackburn by weekend gus poyet is going to replace him.(13)(45)Im a Saints fan and totally neutral to this....Why would Gus Poyet leave Brighton for a disorganised shambles with no money like Leeds? Simon Grayson leaving is understandable...he has been dealt a poor hand and its showing in the results.

Next you will be saying that Nigel Adkins will be taking over Liverpool...which as a scouser might suit them....but we have the best and Brighton the second best managers in the Championship....you all seem to forget that Loic has to play a part in the thought process. Dream on and you will be pleasantly confused...oh you already are...ha..ha..ha {Ed003's Note -I would beg to differ about your choice of managers in the championship}It seems that someone has a bee in their bonnet about Poyet, thus far he's going to replace Sven in Leicester, Grayson in Leeds and 'Arry at Spurs, he's busier than James Beattie! Do people really think he's the new messiah? He's done a good job with Brighton, but that doesn't suddenly turn him into the next Fergie.Grayson's staying put - Leeds can't go up anyway as Master Bates would have to declare Leeds' finances to the Premier League. Top 10 for them, but no promotion.I am a Leeds fan and Poyet will not join he has the money and the backing at Brighton, not a guarantee if he moves to Leeds (With KB in charge) If Grayson gets the Blackburn job then good luck and he will be missed but i think Leeds have the making of a good team and with a fresh outlook this could possibly help leeds (or may just hinder)I don't believe this - but, just to point out, Bates & Poyet don't get onLike hed leave brighton for leeds.Poyet is staying. If Grayson goes then Roeder is lined up. If Kean goes, then Billy Davies will join Blackburn

18 Sep 2011 19:33:57
Sergio Aguero has been linked with AC Milan after his wife told the Argentina forward that she is struggling with life in Manchester. {Ed003's Note - Rubbish)(17)(40)

18 Sep 2011 19:36:12
Wayne Bridge is in talks with Sunderland over a possible deal for January.(16)(16)

18 Sep 2011 18:27:53
hull city will try to sign andy king and cris weale from leicester in january(7)(28)Foxes Fan here....I shall not know who to support at this rate !! Andy King in your dreams Chris Weale maybe ???Hull couldn't afford King and Sven wouldn't sell him, unless he's going as part of the infamous Matt Mills loan deal? (it seems that people are intent on making up silly stories) as for Weale, unless a new GK arrives, he'll be staying put too.Weale's not out of the question, but King??....IF he leaves the Foxes, rest assured it would only be for a club in the higher division...Hull? not a chance!

18 Sep 2011 18:16:34
Dave Jones will be unvieled as the Bristol City manager by Wednesday, he held talks today at ashton gate with Steve Lansdown and Colin Sexstone. You heard it here 1st.(20)(17)Nope, Ridsdale is trying to get him in as Reid's replacement at Plymouth.

Alan Curbishley or Glenn Roeder will take over at Ashton Gate.

18 Sep 2011 17:53:43
steve cotterill will get the sack tomorrow and billy davies is in the frame(15)(23)Portsmouth are never going to get a named manager whilst they are still deep in the sh@tWorse thing for a club with little or no money is to get a little annoying (not very good) manager like Davis in. He left his last post after falling out with the board over lack of finances. He is a clown

18 Sep 2011 15:40:05
AFC Bournemouth will complete the permanent signing of wesley Thomas in january after the striker scored 2 goals in 3 games(16)(4)

18 Sep 2011 14:34:44
Bristol City are talking to West Brom about taking Gareth McAuley on loan to gain fitness. The Northern Irish defender has not made an appearance for the Baggies after suffering with gastroenteritis since pre-season. City tried to sign McAuley on a free from Ipswitch in the summer but the defender opted for the Premier League club. Barnsley and Bristol City both tried to sign Craig dawson on loan in the summer but he impressed Roy Hodson enough to stay and fight for a place at the Hawthornes.(7)(12)Those very confident and cocky BCFC fans from the summer seem to have crawled back under their rocks and hidden!
Who's top of the league?
We obviously didn't need your over-rated striker!...Look you person just let the season carry on bristol city will turn it around and the teams that have beaten us will pay look at when city lost 0.2 to bristol rovers at the gate then we beat them at there ground 2.4

18 Sep 2011 13:30:16
burnley are set to bring robbie blake back to burnley on loan.(9)(15)This is true i got told of owen coyles son (Owen coyle)Its defenders we need but blake would be great claret si

18 Sep 2011 13:01:07
Plymouth Argyle have today sacked Manager Peter Reid.(22)(3)I think its disgusting that they have sacked reid, hope he manages to get the money they haven't paid him for the last 6 months.... how can you motaivate a team who aren;t even getting their wages... If they dont sort it out soon the fans will be in for a shocker when they go to blue square and fold....

18 Sep 2011 12:20:07
Portsmouth fc are on the verge of sacking steve cotterill.

They have 3 managers on there wish list:-

avram grant

dave jones

curbs(11)(24)Get Carlo ancelloti or Gary Neville ?? LolAvram Grant please, then we can finally say goodbye to the biggest joke side in English footballPlease be Barron Greenback! He's steCotterill isn't going anywhere. This is a crock of I heard they will get Paul Ince in as he has a good knowledge of L1

18 Sep 2011 11:23:19
Leeds United set to put in a loan bid for Ivar Ingarmarsson..(6)(28)Utter Rubbish, we have only just signed him he's injured and we need him to shore up our defence

blair adams will stay on loan to the end of the season after craig woodman was rubbish against pne.(1)(11)

18 Sep 2011 10:27:24
Steve McClaren and his coaching team are returning to holland with FC Twentie. People(24)(13)Please let this be true.... I'll buy the tickets.Hope he doesn't go by ferry...it'll probably go down just as we will if he stays much longer.Good, they can have the useless tr@t. Forest need some stability and quick.Although billy rocked the boat often, at least it wasnt sinking. HTBGOD i hope this is true

18 Sep 2011 10:18:25
Robin Van Persie will almost certainly leave Arsenal in January.

This is both because of Arsenals poor form and his desire to win silvereware.

Clubs interested:

Real Madrid, Inter Milan, AC Milan and PSG.(28)(13)Yes agree the club don't want to spend on quality players he will go if theyt don't sign quality players in january. They should sign
Samba , Goetze ,Marvin,Benzenma ,Fellaini ,bainesGet rid of the rubbish players Frimpong squillaci arshavin denilson and all the other S players who give nothing for the team and just play for the mone and no the club thats why arsenal will never win a trophy again.Arsenal will never get samba , goetze , marvin , benzema , fellaini or baines if they don't have any decent players to start with.

Arsenal to finish 7-10th this season.

18 Sep 2011 02:15:27
Liverpool will sell Martin Skrtel,Maxi Rodriguez and Dirk Kuyt replacing them with Gary Cahill,Edin Hazard and a shocking £35m return for Fenando Torres. Jack Wilshere remains a long term target. {Ed025's Note - did you hear this on planet zarg news?..(16)(21)Cahill,Wilshere & Torres are possible.
Hazard isn't mate .. (i don't like liverpool at all but it does seem possible).Ed 2, brilliant mate, are they really that thick these pudlers, the best they can do now are with the likes of henderson, carroll & adam {Ed025's Note - the three of them went missing today.....kenny is going to put their faces on milk cartons..Eden hazard is arsenals and so is cahill

17 Sep 2011 21:32:43
Martin O'Neil will replace Steve McClaren at Forest before Xmas(15)(37)No way would O'Neil go to Forest .....lolI know that all us forest fans are praying for this but it's not gonna happen when he could easily be managing a top 4 prem side. Nope I'm afraid McUseless will cling on for dear life cus if he gets sacked let's face it he'll never manage in English football again.Forest wouldn't be able to afford MON, they only got McClaren because he was desperate for a job and was therefore cheap. McClaren will walk out before he gets sacked, expect it any time, he'll cite a lack of support and broken promises but he'll be off asap. Like i said... back to Div One for Forest.U know this is a lie (a boring lie at that) but if u actually believe it the I'm afraid ur a very stupid person. If we lose mcclaren the likely person to get the job would b someone within the club like the youth coach or pleat lolI remember before the season started that you were going up etc how things chance, you are rubbish, no money who would want that job!! oh i know steven mclarenI don,t know the answer to forest problems on the field.McCAREN has no idea either.bringing in a big name manager doesn't always work it hasn't this time. ken fowkes a forest fanLeicester fan in piece.
O'neill as already said he would not ever manage u guys as he would not like unset Leicester supporters.
I do feel u should get rid of that wolly with the brolly
All the best for the rest of the season and I hope Leicester and forest are playing prem football as it would be nice to see two east midlands teams in the prem.MON wont work for Doughty the saviour......NEXT!Martin o neil coming to wolves mick to get the sack mick going to forest after wolves loosing 3 0 to qpr {Ed025's Note - be careful what you wish for..Leicester fan in peace (piece)
Where did you hear this?? because MON has stated many times, on both tv and radio, that he would love to manager ForestMartin needs big funds - see Villa - so Forest will not turn to him.The board at Forest will not risk any BIG investments because their spending is still too huge for Doughty to keep bailing them out.If Forest aren't prudent now, they will go bust so they are right to choose a mid range manager on tight budgets. It,s called reality guys - get used to it.Forest are more likely to get in Brian Laws than O'neill as he will be more of a yes man for the board as they try to cut the debts.MON has left every club like Mclaren.
He will make Forest into a squad with man city style wages. & your club will go broke lol. Can't see Martin O'Neill wanting to work with financial restrictions at a club, despite the fact he has affinity with the Reds.

Doughty will stick with McLaren - his head is on the line if McLaren is failure as well.MON would be an awful replacement, he has almost bankrupted Villa, alot of the fans still want him back but if only they knew the truth behind him leaving.

17 Sep 2011 20:48:20
Ryan Dickson will sign in January Uwe Rosler says he will not sign anyone on loan(9)(5)Surplus to requirements at southampton as no way near good enough......league 1 his level. Saints have Dan Harding, Danny Fox and Ben Reeves ahead of him. Even Joseph Mills was before he was sold to reading....please take himAsked the man himself on Twitter and he said it was rubbishHe said to me it was right!

17 Sep 2011 20:48:09
Nottingham Forest to hold a Board Meeting on Monday Morning to discuss the very poor start. McClaren, Loan signings, and possible replacements on the Agenda.(15)(7)Yeah his replacementI think you should keep him he's doing a fantastic job ........You BLUES!!!!!What a load of BS, the board meeting about signings, tell me what are you on?

Its because of this board we didnt make any real signings, season after season!May be thats why there having a Board meeting, to review the actuall lack of activity. Why do people get so angry on here.My guess is he has until December to improve or the board will sack him, as with Billy they are fed up with media moaning, Brian Laws would be the boards choice if they sack him as he is seen more as a yes man as they look to cut the debt.

17 Sep 2011 19:51:15
MK Dons to sign Peter Clarke on a months loan from league 1 rivals Huddersfield to bolster their defensive ranks following injuries and suspensions.(3)(14)

17 Sep 2011 18:37:28
wheater to middlesbrough until new year on loan when could be made permanant depending on price and clubs position the player keen to move back to middlesbrough after horrible stint at bolton

Could cost about 1 million
or rhys williams could move to bolton for 3 million and wheater(5)(11)

17 Sep 2011 17:37:56
After Lee Novaks performance against Sheffield United, various championship clubs are watching the Huddersfield Town striker.

These clubs include Hull, Watford and Doncaster.(5)(12)Dont think so, another vastly over rated player.Doncaster would a big step backwards. cant see any happening.

17 Sep 2011 17:37:15
Doncaster manager Sean o'driscoll to leave the club to be replaced by either Dave Jones/Billy Davies/Kevin Keegen/Alan Curbishley(8)(12)Dave jones to bristol city hopefullyDoncaster could not afford Dave Jones salary demands

17 Sep 2011 17:03:14
argyle manager peter reid to leave argyle and james brent will be the owner.(14)(10)

17 Sep 2011 13:52:58
16 Sep 2011 19:49:33
Brighton boss Gus Poyet could be set to leave the South coast surprisingly after he told the board he would like to move to Ivory Coast international team. The Africans have made an approach to the former Chelsea player to be their new boss and he could sign as soon as Tuesday.

What a load of rubish this is(25)(32)

17 Sep 2011 13:32:30
TALKSPORT have just mentioned that Coventry have inquired about the possibility of loaning Eirik Holmen Johansen of Man City, and have also contacted Chelsea about a season-long loan for Josh McEachran(13)(11)You can't do a season long loan in the emergency loan window, there's a 93 day limit. Also MacEachan is in the matchday squad - if he was available then every club in championship / europe and bottom half premiership would want him - honestly would either he or Chelsea choose relegation certainties in Coventry?

17 Sep 2011 11:57:40
Why are Asian players playing in Malaysia Japan etc not allowed to play in the English leagues. Most have to play in Holland or Germany first ,WHY?.
Surely that's a restriction of trade ,after all Doctors ,Nurses etc are recruited from ALL over the world. {Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with being Asian, it is to do with eligibility for a work permit - and it applies to all non-EU players. There are some pretty simple rules that need to be met and there is a clause where the rules can be waived for exceptional talents. There are many players owned by English clubs who are out on loan awaiting a work permit before they can make the move to England - these include players from South America and many of the old Eastern Bloc countries and states.}(1)(4)Too many foreign players over here now from grass roots level to international players. We need to be able to bring our young players through to help our international teams before worrying about
more foreign players.Dead right, look at Wales,Scotland, the Irish teams and England, not enough really good young players of our own being given a chance. Why then if you want so called British talent to come through, are the likes of most premier league/championship teams signing players from europeYeah why,you tell us,you seem to have some great answer to this.

17 Sep 2011 10:16:05
With Stockport County fans not happy with the current board of directors, and their recent investor pulling out. They will now be looking to bring on some new faces to the board. The people they have approached are Alan Livingstone, Helen Foster Grimes and David Schofield.

God help the club should alan or Helen become involved.(1)(8)Nothing happening until after Christmas with Stockport BUT expect a MAJOR announcement in January. Stockport are going to be on the way back in style!

16 Sep 2011 23:03:04
lee novak of huddersfield to join celtic fc and simon cox to join huddersfield(3)(23)

16 Sep 2011 22:03:13
Wayne Bridge is set to turn down Nottingham Forest and Southampton to join Burnley. Eddie Howe is keen on bringing in some more defenders and sees Bridge on a two month loan deal possibly an option.(5)(35)Bridge would never turn down the club he surports [saints] for burnley...reality check neededBridge will not be coming to Southampton who have an abundance of left backs. I for one would like to see Ben Reeves given a chance.Bloody hell will people stop linking us with Bridge, just because he played for us, his Mum & Dad live just outside Winchester and he supports us doesn't mean either party are interested in a deal as of now. Southampton have four left backs - Danny Fox, Dan Harding, Ryan Dickson and Ben Reeves. No chance of Saints signing a left back, especially one that is on 90k a week.Cant see that happenning although "little eddie" does need a defence. Mind you the star striker who they reckon was worth 6m dont appear to be doing a lot does he? ;-)

16 Sep 2011 22:07:39
SSN reports that Steve McClaren has told a local radio station that he is confident of bringing in an impact loan signing next week, a source within the club suggests that it's Matt Mills from Leicester City.(9)(42)Hardly an
impact signing.. a 5m fester flopHe is going to southamptonI'm sure an impact sub is someone who will get you a goal. Not a defenderExactly why would Leicester loan out their skipper who they bought this summer for £5.5m?Why would Leicester get rid of easily the best defender outside the premier league and a player they signed for 5million?Is this the second or third club Matt Mills is being loaned to? ...this is just a hunch, but i suspect someone is winding you up, good job you all spotted it though ehA player can only play for a maximum of 2 teams in a season and Matt Mills has played for both reading & leicester so unless he goes back to reading this is impossibleMills has not played for Reading this season so off to Southampton it is then...Brighton put a bid in for him on their way out the door, they got totally outclassed by Leicester (22 shots to 7) and figured they might as well pick up Mills on their way home, oddly enough, Mills laughed at them... CMS came in swaggering, and left looking like a pillock, i guess he showed how right Sven was to pull out of signing him, good times.

16 Sep 2011 19:56:22
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is set to tell Joleon Lescott and Garteh Barry that they will be transfer listed in January. Gael Clichy has also had an arguement with the Italian over team selection and will be made available in January. Clichy is wanted already by Manchester United as Alex Ferguson is keen on improving his defence for the latter part of the season. Owen Coyle is keen on bringing England defender Lescott on loan in January whilst Barry is interesting Tottenham.(7)(43)Lescott will probably go to wolves or villaSpurs don't want or need barry, both parker and sandro are better plus we have young tom carroll who its getting better and better, and then theirs tom huddlestone....three players who are streets better and one kid who is going to be a hell of a lot better as a player than barryLescott to Villa & Barry back to Villa with Milner probably.More changes at city? until they settle, they will never achieve what they want, money is too easily thrown around at that club and it isnt the way.Clichy to utd definitely believable and will probably happen

16 Sep 2011 21:33:19
Ericcson to be sacked tomorrow, no matter what the result.ex Cardiff manager Dave Jones to take over the ferrets hot seat(7)(24)Why would you want another failure ? 6 years at Cardiff and still there .Oddly enough, Leicester beat Brighton and Sven hasn't been sacked... unbeaten in 5 games now (all competitions) and have beaten two league leaders in that lot... and suddenly all those haters have gotten ever so slightly quieter, give them time to gel we said... they're starting to gel now, whups!Well, you've certainly hit the nail on the head with this one , have'nt you?....

16 Sep 2011 21:28:49
richard taundry in tlks with bolton....ina possible £100,000 move.(2)(12)Posted by Richard Taundry no doubt !As a walsall fan,why would "bolton" want him anyway?? we cant let any players go , we have a small squad, that is why we are relying on loan signings...

16 Sep 2011 21:16:59
David Beckham is set to sign for QPR in January as his contract comes to end with LA Galaxy.(13)(28)Why would he sign for that tin pot side?Top ten prem team tin pot? Tell that to WolvesErr how many games have you had so far? But, yes tin pot with interest. Poor mans Hull.Within in 2 weeks warnock and barton will have a fall out.... no way will qpr reach 40 points in the prem, relegation all day....

16 Sep 2011 19:42:54

16 Sep 2011 19:47:03
Oli Johnson looks set to sign a two month loan deal with Grimsby Town, with a view to a one year contract in January, from Norwich City.(3)(12)No way will you sign him your in the blue square premier league scunny couldnt afford his wages so you couldn'tI'm not a grimsby fan mate, i work as a scout for town. john fenty has put £1 million into the club wage budgetOli's basic is £1200 pw plus extra's, he certainly won't be going to the Conference

16 Sep 2011 19:45:44
Wolves and Cameroon defender George Elokobi is in talks with Celtic over a possible move in January. Elokobi is keen on moving the Celtic after being told by Mick McCarthy he will be made available in January when the transfer window opens.(6)(17)

Crystal Palace are keen on sealing a deal for Ian Evatt from Blackpool. Palace are keen on bringing some defender in on a permanent basis and sees Evatt as a definate target. The former QPR player was quoted this week as saying that he would like to move back to London and Palace boss Dougie Freedman, is set to take advantage on signing the defender on loan until end of December then striking a full time contract in January.(10)(11)This is rubbish. I listened to a liveBBC radio lancashire interview with ian Evitt this week and he is adamant that he wants to finish his career at Blackpool and negotiate a new deal to make this happen. He also said that his family are well settled in the area and don't want to moveEvatt is staying ar Blackpool. Negotiating a new deal and not going anywhere else.

Bristol City look set to bid for George Boyd from Peterborough United. Boys is keen on getting out of London Road after a fall out with Darren Ferguson. Boyd could move to Ashton Gate on loan until January where a move could be struck permanently.(7)(18)His boyd better than clarkson can he score 6 goals in 2reserve gamesWhy would boyd go to poor old brissle when fergie 2 has just told local press hes the best player in championship,ya aviv a laff!I don't support either team, but Boyd would be daft to join Bristol City, when in reality if he continues his good start to the season then the likes of West Ham, Southampton and Middlesbrough will probably come knocking. Don't think Peterborough would sell to a fellow relegation candidate either, plus the fact he'd cost around £3m-ish?Why would Fergie and Boyd have a falling out when Fergie cant stop singing his praises, and recently labelled him as one of the Championship's best players. Bristol wouldnt be able to afford him and even if he did go he would be totally wasted there. And when will Peterborough get out of this relegation favourite bracket, and I guarantee Peterborough will punish plenty of teams in the Championship and stay up. Doncaster, Barnsley and Watford to go down.

16 Sep 2011 19:19:47
Reading are very keen on signing Preston defender Conor McLaughlin. The youngster is keen on moving to the Championship after being told by Phil Brown there are a number of clubs interested in his signature. The 20 year old, who has made 10 appearances for North End could sign for Reading on loan with a view to an undisclosed deal on the 1st of January.(3)(6)Bcks he is not leaving pne he loves the club and the way brown looked after him when he broke his leg.

West Ham are in talks with Rangers defender Steven Whittaker about a possible deal, undisclosed. 16 Sep 2011 19:00:53
Leeds United are being linked with a move for Stevenage winger Lawrie Wilson.

The versatile midfielder has impressed at Broadhall Way this season, most recently staying in Boro's 5-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.

Reports in The Sun claim Simon Grayson was scouting the player at both that and their previous home game, with the Leeds United boss thought to be impressed by the 24-year-old's performances on both occasions.

Wilson has scored once in his eight appearances this season, and was an integral part of Stevenage's promotion campaign from Npower League Two last season.

It was a summer transfer window to forget for Simon Grayson at Elland Road, with the Leeds United boss failing to secure the services of a handful of targets.

The Leeds United manager is clearly evaluating his options for January, with Wilson now emerging as a legitimate target for the history-steeped club.(13)(4)

Milton Keynes Dons will unbelievably sign experienced Sheffield Wednesday striker Clinto Morrison on Saturday from there League 1 rivals to boost even more to there attack and clinch promotion to the Npower Championship.(6)(3)

Unfortunately, the rumours regarding a new man coming in to replace Keith Millen are untrue and he looks likely to remain in charge.

If, however, he does resign within the next week, it is known that Paul Hart has long had an interest in taking over at the club and he is a strong contender for the position should it become available.

I'll keep you up to date over the weekend.(4)(9)NOOO -For gods sake Millen you clueless clown- Leave!Agreed , 10 men and still lost 2-0 ! Nice one Millen. Cherrio!DO NOT APPOINT THAT CLUELESS DINOSAUR HART>>>>

West Brom duo Kayelden Brown and Lateef Elford-Alliyu
are set to join league one side Walsall on one month loan deals(8)(6)We had both of these on loan at Tranmere last year. Brown didnt look up to much but every single Tranmere fan would have Lateef back. He was a class act and some would argue that he was better than Dale Jennings.

16 Sep 2011 00:41:40
Keith Millen is about to be replaced by Martin O'Neill. Monday (19th) Millen will step down and O'Neill will take charge. Keith has been asked to take control for the Leeds game. The pressure is to much for him and he feels he should of waited a few more years before going into management. Martin will sign a rolling 12 month deal in the knowledge that he will be able to rebuild the club. Nicky maynard will sign his contract once Martin O'Neill has started his reign(6)(42)I believe it when i see it millen steps down and martin oneill takes overMartin o'neil would never manage bristol city ya plank like saying fergusan going to manage plymouthOh dear never mind you might wake up in a minute, probably for the best anyway, O'Neill is likely to spend anymoney you have and some you don't then walk off in a hissy fitAll you Bristol fans are so deludedOh thanks for that, I have not laughed so much in ages!!!Total delusion? 15 Sep 2011 23:41:13
portsmouth football club to be re-ignited with former defender sol campbell, he said he would love a second stint on the south coast, other teams interested include brighton.(8)(16)Hilarious! Not sure which is funnier, the idea that Campbell is worth signing or the fact that you appear to love the idea!

btw - re-ignited? you're gonna set him on fire again?Brighton are interested in him for other reasonsSol wants to move to the South Coast so he can set up in business as an Ice Cream vender by the Sea, say's he would rather do that than play for Pompey. With him & Benjamin there's nothing better than going backwards good old skatesAbsolute tosh. Everyone knows what sort of wages Campbell demands (even at his age) and that is WAY beyond Pompey's budget. It was paying him the sort of wages that we did that got us into all that mess before so we're not going down that road again.Must have buried the hatchet over image rights

15 Sep 2011 22:23:34
This may come as a shock to many but i have been told that if Bristol City get the go ahead to build a new stadium then the clubs billionaire backer Steve Lansdown will invest heavilly in building a side for the premiership and that David Moyes will return to the club as manager.(10)(35)I can quite believe this, Moyes would love to return to the west countryMoyes will never move back to the south as he is settled in the north he still lives in preston and his family are happy in the north ,also he would get a bigger club than brizzle cityWould this be the same Steve Lansdown who is actually a Millionaire not a Billionaire? and is it the same Steve Lansdown who has gone on record in the Bristol Evening Post to advise BC supporters that he is no longer supporting the club financially? He has a commitment to build the stadium, but that's where it ends.

Are you the same BC fan who reckons that Martin O'Neil is going to replace Millen and that Maynard is only waiting for him to arrive before he signs his new deal? Cos if so - take a tablet and calm down!Well done to the plastic Bristol City fans you have lost the plot worse than the Leicester & Southampton armchair lot !

15 Sep 2011 22:16:16
Championship leaders Brighton are set to loan in Norwich City's Aarron Wilbraham. The versatile striker will stay on loan until January 1st. Saints to sign Matt Mills on loan, after a bad start and fall out at current club leicester-SSN

It is thought that Matt would be delighted to make the move, after starting his career there and is a boyhood saints fan.....Offcourse though his brother Jospeh is no longer at southampton after joining Reading after being surplus to requirements at southampton. Mills though is good freinds with Adam lallana and a couple of the other players who have come through the ranks at southampton, which could help swing the deal in saints favour instead of Norwich city.

Expert progess in the next couple of days.(24)(9)Absolute tosh, Leicesters record signing going out on loan dream on mateCan't believe there is any substance in this rumour, but would be delighted if it did happen, never wanted to see him leave, always thought he had a good future and wanted it to be with Saints.Unrest in the leicester camp! love itThe same matt mills who was born in Leicester, grew up watching leicester and said it was a dream come true to sign for boyhood teamAnd ssn has nothing about this on either leicesters page or southamptons so try againThe same matt mills who was born in Leicester, grew up watching leicester and said it was a dream come true to sign for boyhood team
---------------------
'Grew up in Leicester, watching Leicester' - The Mills boys grew up in Swindon, my brother was in the same class as Fish for 3 years. Then two of the four got picked up by Southampton, inevitably following and watching the Southampton first team with the rest of the Academy when they had days off.

This is obviously made up so why are you getting all ancy about it? Mills has had a very poor start to the season also.Players can only play for a maximum of 2 teams a season which Matt Mills has already done.
No football club would buy/loan a player who they could not play until next season

15 Sep 2011 19:37:43
QPR not only after David Beckham but also Michael Owen and Joe Cole in January(14)(33)All the has-beens and rejects i see.....Dear me, QPR are a waste of space....These players wont do anything other than promote QPRs name in the middleeast etc and give more money to the chairman.....Yeah and promoting the clubs name in the far East is a bad thing ?? But no non are going to happen (QPR fan)Why not sign "Take That" instead and have a proper Boy Band. The Joe Cole thats on a season long loan to Lille. LMAO at ur pathetic excuse for a rumourQPR are an accident waiting to happen , it may look rosy now but all these players will clash at some point ,mark my words . There seems to be an element of sweetshop mentality as in i will have that one ,that one , oh and chuck a couple of them in the bag .Someones gonna be sick later.I dont think so personally

15 Sep 2011 17:43:01
brentford are ment to sign harry arter on loan to a proper deal(1)(19)Thank you for this rumour, it has been a big help.......but only in helping me decide not to send my little one to a school in BrentfordHarry Arter is a star player for Bournemouth, so i highly doubt this will happen-unless he somehow see it as an upwards step, which tbh i doubt it-But the attraction off london might swing the deal perhaps?

15 Sep 2011 17:18:10
Wolves chairman Steve Morgan is reported to be a little disappointed with the transfer activity at Molineux over the summer. There is reported to have been more money available to McCarthy. Morgan sanctioned a £9m bid for Diego after the signings of Johnson and O'Hara, but the player wanted to move to a team playing in Europe.
It is believed that a good sized kitty will be available to MM in January and that Morgan is getting itchy feet and wants a big named land mark signing to lead the club forward.(22)(7)No one would of any note would sign for a team that will struggle to stay up this season thats why mm signed deadwoodHaving money is one thing, getting players to come is the hard part

15 Sep 2011 16:46:31

Expect a move in January for the star midfielder(18)(8)Star? HUH. Next to the man on the moon. He's just signed a 3 year contract extension...He signed a contract just 2weeks ago you idiotJust cause he signed a new deal doesn't mean he wont turn down a move back to the premiership, he is a very good player on his day so no suprise theres interest.Fulham would need to pay big bucks to get him now!! Non starter!! Must have been playing football manager too late last night!!

Svens time at Leicester is limited - the board have run out of patience and will look to recruit Poyet as his replacement as soon as possible.(22)(26)I'm a Leicester fan, please answer me this, why would Poyet leave at this moment in time to come to Leicester?
Sven WILL be given time time to sort it out. We no longer have Mandaric as an owner.......It was Martin Allens couzen (footy agent)that told us at last weeks awards - apparently it was mandrik that appointed sven and the new Thai consortium were never happy with the appointment....only telling what I've been told....Martin Allen's cousin was miles off the mark then sunshine, Mandrich appointed Paulo Souza was was binned 8 games into the season, it was the new blokes who recruited Sven, Milan was long-gone by then.

As for Poyet, doubtful to say the least. Not only is he doing a sterling job at Brighton, but Sven has been given the financial muscle to do his job with a promise of whatever he needs come January. We play Brighton this weekend, a win would see us unbeaten in 4 having knocked off two league leaders in the process. Nobody is hiding from the fact that it's not gone to plan thus far, but it was always going to be a reach for 12 new players to gel straight away.

Beat Brighton and the season will start slipping in to place. The Haters will still hate us, they'll still predict doom and gloom, Sven sacking/walking out, owners going bankrupt blah blah blah - but even they'll start to accept that we're starting to go in the right direction, and they'll hate us even more for that (big deal)

Beating Brighton is a tall order at the minute, but we're easily capable of doing it, just depends which side turn up... the one that humped Forest for 60 minutes, the one that humped Soton for 45 minutes, or the one that folded against Forest in the final 30 minutes, or the one that almost folded against Soton in the second 45 minutes - we're very hit and miss at the minute!15 Sep 2011 19:43:58
I'll think you'll find that Milan was still advising the consortium when Sven was appointed sunshine - you don't appear to know your own club very well, so have a look at this link and learn something.

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/leicester_city/9054516.stmO dear the wheels are falling off crisp munchers aren't they!
Even quicker than expected! lolThe foxes season could go t@ts up if they dont get some decent results in there next 6 games its still early yet one win can move you 5/6 places at the moment the foxes face brighton/cardiff/boro/derby...who are in the top 6 at the moment then the brum which could also prove an hard gameUmm, the smug git who posted the link should maybe shove his head back up his own arse... Milan was still advising the new owners, but he had no input whatsoever when it came to hiring Ericsson. In essence, he was indeed ‘long-gone’. there’s a pretty huge difference between being involved in the day to day running of a club which includes the recruitment of a manager and the subsequent negotiations - and being involved in an advisory capacity, paint it anyway you like, you’re wrong - sunshine.

As for the other dimwits who appear to be happily celebrating anything with a negative twist to it, I think you should remember that a) it’s a rumour site and b) you’re clearly still jealous - see you in May? I doubt it somehow.

Leeds News - Mccormack is set to sign a new 2 year deal, Whites eying up a move for ex wolves keeper marcus hanneman.

Nunez has rejected a four year deal and there is rumours he is holding out for a move to sunderland next season with reports that they are scouting him!(9)(21)Quite beleivable until you mentioned 4 yrs no wayI have watched every minute of every game that Nunez has played for Leeds, although very promising, he is far from the finished article. I don't see how a PL club would be eyeing up a move for a player who can't get regular football in an average Championship teamNo way ken bates will offer any player a 4year contractWhy are leeds looking for another keeper? andy lonergan has been fantastic with some of the saves he has made....nunez still has time on his contract and so does mccormack

15 Sep 2011 10:55:59

34 year old Former Larissa and Hull striker Daniel Cousin is set to join league one side Walsall on trial(8)(7)Nonsense, he only left Larissa because they were relegated from the Greek Super League, he's way too good to play in League One, he'll probably take a big final pay day in the Middle East.

15 Sep 2011 09:32:19
