Adam Hammill will not be leaving Barnsley in January he is happy where is and Mark Robins will try and offer him a new deal and if Hammill accepts it then that's it case closed and they will also try to bring Adam Le Fondre to Barnsley for £1.5 million in january and a few others on loan.(11)(3)

Charlie Austin has agreed to stay at the County Ground at least until the end of the season.
Following that, if he can see that Swindon will be promotion candidates next season he will stay. If he feels that he has done all he can at Swindon, he may then decide on a move to the Premiership.
Fulham are interested, and he could travel from Wiltshire to West London relatively easily. He will not move from an area where he has friends and family (he has been there for many years, and commuted to Poole from there when he played for them).(1)(12)

hes said personaly that he wants a move to spain. .real madrid is the destination as barcelona have opted to sign affellay on a free instead and already have jefferen along with the obv pedro, villa etc {ed's note - I don't know mate, I have heard that there has been a firm bid from the English Premier League for him, but I couldn't tell you who it was.}(1)(5)

I can't see us (Leeds) signing beckford on loan in january. we already have 4 quality strikers and 2 of them can't get in the team. besides, the fans at leeds didn't have a great relatianship with beckford last season. he might go on loan to a championship club but it won't be leeds. we appreciate the goals he scored to get us promoted but he did miss a lot of easy chances . he is a frustrating player, many times last season he would miss 2 or 3 easy chances then score a stunner out of nothing in the last minute and get man of the match. garyd MOT(26)(9)

Think Everton fans should ease up on Jermaine Beckford. I know he was shocking against West Brom, but he has had to make the step up from League 1 recently, and has only been on the bench. You Toffees seem to have forgotten already that he dug you out against Bolton with an absolute cracker. To the nutter who thinks he will be replaced with KALINIC. . yeah, because he settled in the Prem a WHOLE lot better than Beckford, of course. .
I'm not surprised really though, he got tons of stick from Leeds fans aswell, despite his awesome scoring record.

How do you expect any money you may get from selling Heitinga (between £6m and £10m tops!) to pay for either of Hamsik or Lavezzi (over £20m EACH!) never mind BOTH of them? Plus I'm not 100% sure on this but wouldn't both of those players be club record signings? So I can't imagine Mr Kenwright, who's fortune has taken quite a hit in the last couple of years, is going to stump up the cash by himself to buy them. Although by your theory £10m IN = £40m+ OUT may be plausable at a club like City, it won't happen at Everton! All of this is without considering the ludicrous assumption that Everton will buy Capel (rated at £16m+) or Zokora.

I have dealt with forward contracts in the past but if I recall normally you have options to buy forward for a currency to fix the rate of exchange in future i.e. not at spot rate, however I don't believe you have to specify which country it is for, only the currency so to me this is a little flawed. Anyone have more in depth knowledge ?

I agree to a certain extent - but Man Utd have a trading line with this bank, and have just told my friend that it's to Germany. They wanted a quote while the Euro was at a decent level, maximising the most they can from currency fluctuation.
