Eds and clarets. does it look like any youth players with get a shot this season?
{Ed001's Note - do you mean in general or are you asking just about your team? If you are just referring to Burnley, it is highly unlikely unless you hit the 40 points margin early, though injuries could change that. In the league at least. In the cup I would expect the likes of Dunne and Hendrie to get a shot.
It is a bit early to know though really, the transfer window could change it, if there are gaps left in the squad and the preseason is when they get their chance to stake a claim for a place. The preseason is a big moment for the youth team players, they get to spend time with the first team and impress in first team matches. Many managers have been so impressed with a player in preseason that they have moved them into the first team squad when the youngster was not in their thinking at all the previous season.}

Sorry Burnley page.
{Ed001's Note - James Dunne is probably the most likely off the top of my head, but, like I said, preseason is when they get their chance to put themselves forward.}

Cheers ed.
{Ed001's Note - welcome mate. Fancy your chances of survival again next season? Or do you fancy you can do a bit more than just survive?}

I'm a Liverpool fan so I bloody hope so lol. Just on here hoping to see if my relatives name was dropped.
With regards to Burnley I think it will be a Much tougher season for them as I think the quality of teams being Prometed is much better than what's gone down. But if they can keep up thier home form and add a few point on the road then they have every chance.
{Ed001's Note - ah ok sorry mate. Who is your relative?
You are right about the quality, those that went down were not the best. Probably amongst the worst teams of the Premier League era.}

Name is brad jackson. Spent second half of season on loan at Bangor
Ye Middlesbrough and Sunderland were embarrassing. But felt a bit for hull. Very poorly ran club and lost 2 of their more influential players in January did well not to finish bottom.
{Ed001's Note - I feel bad for all three sets of fans. Bad decisions at boardroom level cost them all badly. Though it is difficult to criticise Steve Gibson as he is one of the best chairmen of all time, so he is allowed the odd mistake.
I will keep a look out for him. Most likely another loan though will be his fate this season.}

Ye can't see any of the three returning anytime soon
hopefully he will get somewhere with a bit more profile this season but time will tell
Cheers ed1.
{Ed001's Note - interesting chat, makes a nice change to talk about Burnley to be honest.}

With Monk taking over the Boro they have to be one of the favourites to bounce straight back. Their financials are in much better shape than most if not all the of the other championship teams.
