Mick Mc Carthy has surprisingly moved to the top of Coventry City's wish list to be there next manager, Tim Fisher is trying to lure the ex Wolves boss to the Ricoh Arena

He turned forest down because they are not a premier league side.
Do you really think he's now decided to take over a league 1 side? Come on

Not going to happen. Trust me I know.

Its going to be the Oldham manager Paul Dickov.seen by a some as a young promising manager who's good with small funds.oldham won away at Portsmouth and tried to sign cody mcdonald for oldham

We dont have any money so it wont be a "big name" manager

George Boyd has been signed as a loan with a view to permenant contract in jan window by ipswich.

Ipswich have played this down but rummors at ground today its a done deal !

Jewel is also looking for 2 defenders - confirmed in press no clues to targets.

He all ready turned you down why would he join on loan

He was keen to come in principle. But we wouldn't meet his wage demands. He didn't reject 'us', he rejected the wages (or personal terms) we offered him. We would however be open to negotiations when the emergency loan window opens.

Because he wants to be with Taylor

He was keen to join but couldn't agree terms, Barry Fry states a deal can still be done on a loan and buy in January.

Jewel hasn't got a clue about defence

stoke to sign Michael Owen by next Wednesday

Off to Sunderland!

Off to Liverpool!

Off to everton

All 3 wrong owen is in favour with stoke a lot of liverpool fans turned on him and everton are not interested and owen has friends in stoke e.g. pennant crouch

Sunderland no everton no stoke maybe liverpool preferred

Off to Wigan!

Wigan HA! goin down mate i no hes going stoke

Wigan will not go down however Owen will sign for Stoke City - I think he will be a good addition to the squad bringing in experience and giving the rest of the players confidence! I also think he's still got the ability and will score goals! Stoke have attracted some big names must say!

Players out on loan from Bristol city next week
J Wilson to Sheffield united
Edwards to Walsall
Pittman to Bournmouth
All for three months

Edwards may well be going south down the A37 to Yeovil. Strong rumour post today's game, suggesting Fry will release his vice like grip on Yeovil's purse strings to facilitate the move.

01 Sep 2012 16:24:35
Elliot Ward had a medical at Bristol City on Friday will sign a three month loan next week to be available for the next home game against Blackburn

No real surprise that he will be loaned out with a view to sell him for nominal fee in Jan, currently 5th choice CH at Norwich.
Likewise expect Chris Martin and Simon Lappin to go out on loan again with a view to sell in Jan.
Other expected loans Steer or Rudd GK's and Corey Smith for 3 month loans but just to get game time not to put in the market place.

Brett PIttman was sat on the Bristol city bus on his way to Barnsley when the manager called him off the bus told him to get his bag, as Bournmouth had enquered about him and Bristol had accepted there bid he then refused the move back to Bournmouth after not agreeing terms may go there on loan on Friday but he would prefer to stay in the CCC this is straight from Pittman bumped in to him in Bristol on Saturday morning

So Pitmann would just tell a random stranger his personal matters.

Wots that got to do with Barnsley nothing

Lazy player, it was a wonder the manager managed to coax pitman off the bus.

Not surprised 'you bumped into him' on saturday in bristol, pitman has never been that mobile.

word on the street is that Chris Wood
will be loaned to Huddersfield to replace Jordan
e Jordan. If true, sounds just the type
of pacy, strong forward we need

He is not pacey at all he is strong and knows where the goal is but not that mobile

He has no pace.Hes slow. But a good finisher

Agreed, watched him in the Olympics playing for NZ, tall and decent in the air but slow and has not scored many goals wherever he has played.

Hope this is true! we need a new striker

Hope. So. And he. Will. score. Plenty of. Goals for us from. Maca 95 htfc fan

When does the loan window open? {Ed003's Note - 8th}

Harry kane joined norwich city season long loan.....oh well.

You may well get a surprise, just like all those who expected city to lose at spurs today. ye of little faith!!!

Huddersfield town to sign jermaine beckford as soon as the loan window opens. His deal hit a snag last night when he was set to join but Leicester city pulled out with 5 minutes to spare. Huddersfield are also looking to signing another striker believed to be one of Simon church, dj Campbell or Frazier Campbell.

Huddersfield need to sign F.Campbell, Church and a CAM with creativity...Arfield isn't good enough and Scannell's a winger!

Higginbotham?

No. He should be sold! Not good enough. League 1 standard!

Beckford pulled out not leicester he waiting to go to leeds utd on loan

It wasn't beckford who pulled out, leicester pulled out about 5 min before deadline.

Beckford did not pull out, he actually signed on the dotted line! Leicester pulled out as they missed out on a player unexpectedly.

Millwall will be looking to balance the transfer and salary budget when the loan window re-opens. I eexpect to see 2 strikers go out on loan. One with a view to a permanent (circumstances allowing)and the other to gain match fitness / experience. This will free up the budget to bring in a player on loan.
UTW

This comment has nothing to do with the loan subject! But if KJ gets millwall playing attractive, flowing&passing football the crowds will definately 'COME BACK' to 'WATCH'! GOOD WORK KJ!

What N'Guessan to Charlton LOL

You might find that if you play football the passing way & not kick it up the pitch! Then 'MORE' people will come & watch! FACT! Then you can 'BUY' more players & 'DON'T' have to rely on 'LOANS' OK KENNY!

I am so glad that we won today against a very good BORO team,it just shows what we can achieve if we put our minds 'TO IT' COYL!

Remind me, when does loan window re open ?

We played some good football today and got a good win - Keogh, Henry and Malone were superb - get off KJ's back and get behind the players we've got; IMO KJ is Millwall's biggest asset and I hope we can keep hold of him.

I totally agree 100% with you mate!

You are 'TOTALLY' right about KJ! I didn't go to Sheffield because of work commitments, but why did we play really good football in the 1st half, & then we sit back & play the long ball in the 2nd half? That does baffle me! If we are playing 'GOOD' football then stick with it! COYL

You have to laugh, we are playing superb passing football, the pitch is now premiership standard... and we have a manger and owner that knows what there doing........suck it up you lot. Oh and by the way you can have N'guessan

Why did Henderson only play one minute of the 2nd half yesterday? Injured or something else?!

Henderson played poor in the first half, gave away the ball every time he got it, thats why he was subbed.

IMO Henderson was quite poor yesterday and wasn't too surprised when Kenny took him off, especially when you look at Keogh's contribution in comparison. Still not fully fit, Hendo or the Battman but they'll get there - and we've still got Taylor to make his mark. PS - McEachran is on 40 grand a week, looked average and lucky not to get sent off!! No wonder KJ kept his money in his pocket!!

Henderson never came back after half time?
I think we'll get a couple of loans in i can see n'guessan leaving on loan again n maybe marquis but only if we get a forward on loan

Kenny Jackett has got to be our best manager since the heady days of John Doherty & Frank McClintock.Taking into account the budget he has to keep to he is very good! I just worry about losing him to a prem club.
If we can play good flowing football and keep winning games the crowds will return have no fear.So bigger crowds=more money thru the gates=more cash to buy better players?

Give kenny another two years & he 'willl take us 'into' the prem!!!

I know that a lot of millwall fans will probably laugh at this comment, but we could do with another 'kevin bremner'??? unsung hero? what do wall fans think? agree?

Kevin Bremner! Blimey he certainly had some bottle, but TBH don't think he was technically up to the required standard for this division in today's football. Best left fondly remembered as a REAL Millwall player.

KB is a good friend of my dad's, he now lives in Thanet and works on the roads, top bloke. I agree with the chap who says he hopes we don't lose KJ to a Prem club or a rich Championship club - he's the best manager in our division and there are not many better in the top flight!
