As for the Villa fan who said Barry wont be leaving cos he went to school with Abondahor the reason he hasnt left is cos the club wont sell him for a reasonable fee not cos he didnt want to go. Liverpool only paid £18m for Masch 6 months ago why would they pay the same for Barry. If a move is made in January it will be for less as the player will only have 18 months left on his contract (despite his eligability for the CL).
And to the chelsea fan who claims Liverpool cant sign any PSV player and that Chelsea are making History, 2 points.
1) Players and humans not items and can not be sold without consent. If he doesnt want to go to Chelsea they cant force him to sign for Chelsea regardless of any feeder agreement if he wants to sign for Liverpool he will.
2) History is earned not bought, the 3 runners up medals your players earned last season will never give your club history – well suppose the team could be remembered as losers. 3 Leagues and 1 cup winners cup leaves your "Massive Club" miles behind clubs like Nottingham Forrest. Maybe you would appreciate history more if you actually had one!
