I run a forest forum and have just been told that Forest are in negotiations right now with Miles Addison.Billy Davies sees Miles as the perfect replacement for the Newcastle bound James Perch.Guinless

Why are you pretending to be someone else if Guinless ran a football forum don't you think he would post the scoop there to entice more members.

Forest won't sell anyone who is in the first team squad. Also Forest have put in a bid for Addison which is a take it or leave bid. Derby will try and take it to the wire to get more money. The fee that we will sign him for will stun the direby fans and cause outrage. This is 100% True.

Preston North chairman Derek Shaw and major share holder Owen Mclaughlin are rumoured to be losing the bitter boardroom battle with the money man at the club Trevor Hemmings. Hemmings is fed up of the pair doing nothing with their shares apart from simply sitting around while Hemmings continues to pump millions into the club.

He has told the pair it is time for them to put money into the club or sell their shares. He has already made them both an offer before Fergie Jnr was appointed, but his offer was turned down by both men, as they know if Trev gets them in the prem with his money they will both earn a fortune something that is really winding Hemmings up.

The "REAL" chattering from the Taps in Lytham Lancs.

It's finally reached the end. JON PARKIN & ROSS WALLACE have been told by DARREN FERGUSON to either make up or it's going to have to be a break up at PNE. Both players are talking to other clubs about a loan deal in the next few days.
FERGIE Jr wants wallace to stay and so it looks like Big Jon looks will be at a new club in Feb.

MANCHESTER UTD

Talks of a buyout are still ongoing, but will definitely not happen until at least the summer, possibly the winter. The Glazers realise that the club must seem an attractive prospect to any new buyers, so are currently speaking with Fergie. Fergie realises he must add to the team and remove some dead weight, so is planning a 'Liverpool style' transfer window in summer – that being, selling squad players and using the combined funds to buy. Glazers have agreed to not touch this incoming money, and will not sell Rooney as this will put off potential investors."

First – The Glazers are NOT looking to sell, only to re–finance their debt with some financial institutions – AND – look at taking up to 170M out of the club – they see ManU as their personal Bank – no deposits, only withdrawals! Second – Utd are NOT and attractive proposition to any single buyer – person, company or consortium. A very rich punter might find 3–400M as at City – but 1200–1500M is a whole different league. This will be come an albatros around the Glasers neck. The only sale would be back to the stock exchange when the Glasers default on payment.

Given this – Utd have limited funds to work with – therefore no big name players arriving during this break.

In fact the same is pretty much true for the top 4 clubs there will be limited movement of all players. City, Arsenal and Chelsi are finished. Liverpool want rid of Babel, but no one will pay the price so he's staying. In the summer City will offload Robinho (where again he will fail), take Yaya Toure in exchange (plus cash of course!). Phillip Lahm and Maicon will arrive, Henry will not but Torres will – the Sheik sees him as the ideal player to lead City into the CL and money will not be an issue – he wants that CL trophy. There will also be a shock bid for Shrek but there is no way that will work – he's going to Barca. Benitez will be sacked and aside from Torres, Gerrard will be off as well, to Real. As Liverpool have limited cash to spend on players – the Gerrard and Torres money servicing the debt – and no CL football the possibility of a big name manager arriving is remote. Wait and see.

Portsmouth FC News:

The club was dealt two further blows today, as Sol Campbell is launching a legal challenge against the club and Peter Storrie is facing legal action on charges of fraud and deception.

The club is a pack of cards set to fall at any minute.

Players don't want to stay at the club, and many are already wishing to have contracts torn up so they can leave a.s.a.p. Kaboul is likely to sign for Stoke if they agree to sell Shawcross to Liverpool for £10m. David Nugent is going to Rangers, but will stay at Burnley for the rest of the season before moving north of the border.

The highest earner, David James, will move as well with Spurs the most likely destination. David will have to take a wage–cut, but has been promised that if he is match–fit he will start every game.

Diop and Utaka are to sign for Fulham and Wigan, respecively, with loan and reserve players likely to be called on to play first team football for Portsmouth. Hughes and Smith will stay until the summer, when they will sign for Cardiff and Swansea respectively. Danny Webber will move to Leeds as Beckford's summer replacement.

Rabiu Ibrahim is on the radar of both sides of the Oldfirm, the talented Nigerian is out of contract at the end of the season from Sporting Lisbon. Rangers are trying to get him included in part of any deal that will see Pedro Mendes going to Sporting Lisbon for £1.25 million. Celtic on the other hand want to jump ahead of the Que as they see him as the perfect replacement for the departing Scott Brown.

I work with a lot of football people up and down the country and I come into contact with owners, agents football writers etc it's worth noticing that a few writers get some of their "exclusives" from this website so keep up the good work. I would like to put a few things in the open about the top clubs in the EPL. 1st Arsenal very well run club they do have a large but manageable debt. There is cash available for transfers but I have been told that the manager would rather develop a player to his style rather than take existing talent that may take time to change. The only blot on the landscape is a bit of uncertainty in the boardroom but this will not effect the team or management plan. Chelsea I was told a few weeks ago still have a number of bills but the owner could write these off overnight. The manager again has cash to spend. The only problems is with the owners links to Russia he cannot as yet start the project to move the club to a new stadium. I was told that a venue was located and plans drawn up but until the owner can clear up a number of issues back home he cannot start redevelopment. Manchester City the strangest thing I have heard on the circuit is that when the owner asked for the stadium to be made bigger (they wanted a 3rd tier built) the architect said no as the foundations could not take it. The simple answer suggested the owners "take it down and build it again" this club has unbelievable wealth and the owners are prepared to spend. Manchester United £720 million in the red but the owners are very pleased with the interest in the bond issue. I do believe that the tour by the Chief Executive has only reached the Middle East and over half the bonds are allocated. The bond issue has also brought out 3 potential buyers I was told that a group from the Middle East bid 1.2 Billion so I imagine the owners will have that as a starting point and hope that the bidding begins. Although this is good for the owners it is not good for the club as potential owners then need to borrow from banks to make a successful bid and therefore generate debt. Unless the bidder is very rich of course. The manager has cash to spend I was told in the region of £50 million. Finally Liverpool about £230 million in the red. The problem Liverpool have is that a large chunk of the debt must be paid this summer which is very worrying as there is no potential investor. I was told but someone in the club that Middle East investors were planning to build the new stadium but only have the clubs as tenants. A vast part of the match day profit would go to the stadium owners and not the club. This insider also felt that this company would also offer Everton a similar deal to try and force a joint venue. Liverpool will have a major overhaul in summer with about £70 million being raised to satisfy the banks. The Liverpool manager has very little cash to spend so it is sell to buy. I was told that the owners are waiting to see the results over the next few games as the team play other 4th spot contenders and might get the season back on track. If they have poor results a change will have to be made and the manager paid off. The £20 million pay out fee would be negotiated and paid in a number of instalments from next seasons gate receipts and TV monies. I was also told the the "bust up" with the team captain was not over the performance but because the manager asked Gerard to delay his groin operation until the league was settled, but then Gerard found out that Torres had been sent for his operation so he will be fit in time for the world cup. I would not have thought that the manager would do this as he needs every fit player he can to get the vital 4th spot, but my source is very well placed in the club. Finally Portsmouth well it was refreshing to watch the new owners of West Ham open the books of a great club and show just what turmoil it is in. Portsmouth is ten times in a worse state and I'm afraid will be bust in 28 days.

Celtic

TM will be asked to leave Celtic at the end of the season when they fail to win the league.

The Lambert/Larsson team predicted in earlier posts would be welcomed by the fans and would understand that irrespective of which country you play in having some national identity in the side is important.

TM's current signing policy is creating a team with no scottish players which will be unable to cope with the style of scottish football and which doesn't understand the celtic way.

This will continue in the next three signings he makes during the transfer window.

20 Jan 2010 16:25:54

So, in the summer, expect the following to happen:

OUT
Foster (£5million, Stoke)
Neville (retired, coaching role)
Vidic (£25million, Real Madrid) – NB – Fergie will try to wangle a loan defender from Real, his original plan was a swap directly with Sergio Ramos, but this is a no–go).
Brown (£4million, Everton or Fulham)
Anderson (£15million, Inter Milan)
Scholes (retired)
Hargreaves (retired)
Nani (player plus cash exchange)
Tosic (£5million, Hamburg)

CB – Uros Cosic / Dodo (tribunal, just 1 of them)
CM – Marek Hamsik (£20million, OR £8million plus Anderson, Napoli)
CM – Stephen Ireland (£8million, Man City)
LW – Angel di Maria (£18million plus Nani, Benfica)

I'm grew up with josh thompson before he moved up north and now plays in the celtic reserves. he told me that most of the celtic first team want away from the club after the manager mowbray slated them in the press, saying he inherited a mess from gordon strachan and are not happy with the training methods and approach to games . josh said mowbray is practically signing a full team and getting rid of a full team. expect big names like scott brown, aiden mcgeady, captain mcmanus, a winger called mizuno (not sure if he has played 1st team), lee naylor and andreas hinkle to leave as soon as they can with mowbray to replace them with 'his style of players'. don't have any names, but genuinly, the players up there have lost faith in the manager.

Victor Moses has finally sat down with Forest today to discuss personal terms. After failing to secure a better offer from a Premiership team, despite all the speculation engineered by Warnock and Co. about European giants like Real or Barca, Palace have reluctantly let the only side with a cash offer on the table sit down with the player.

No indication of negotiations yet, but could turn out to be one of the biggest coups for the Reds in recent years, watch out Premiership, here we come!!

V.Nistelroy/Owen/Keane will never go to celtic... The scottish leauge is poor and they would have to sel half the team just to afford there wages.

Kenywn Jones is going no–where, and especially not on loan. Steve Bruce has said this morning, 20/01/2010, that the loan deal is ridicolous, but every man has a price on there head.

Sunderland are looking to bring in Canabez, from the South American Leauge. Also, they despretly Need defenders, kaboul and richards is at the top of there list but weather they will sell is still remained to be seen.

Chelsea will bid for augero/pato in the summer, depending if city does. If the players want money, they will go to city. and Chelsea will get the player which is hungry for success not money.

Jason Scotland has been spotted going into Oakwell's training ground today and is expected to join the Tykes sometime this week. The big ex Swansea City hitman could join for a fee of £900,000 – £1m and be signed up in time to be involved in Mark Robins' squad for this weekend's trip to Home Park where Plymouth Argyle will entertain Barnsley.

I have it on good authority. Gordon Strachan is keen to take Pedro Mendes off Walter Smiths hands. But only if RFC will accept a £1million offer. Strachan knows Mendes quality and will suit their drive for promotion, also they know RFC need some money.

Glasgow to Middlesbrough isn't too hard a commmute either.

Ibrox Info.

Mendez to Lisbon for 1.25 pluss add ons and a friendly game in the summer. Rother is also expected to terminate his loan deal and return to France with St Entine, also expect Fullham to make a last minute bid for Davis with a 4 or 4.5 bid which is expected to be rejected, as Rangers would only consider offers of over 5m for the Irishman.

The summer won't bring much luck either as Rangers are set to have a massive clear out and will try force some of the high earners out the door such as McGregor, Miller and Bougherra . Wilson and Fleck will also move on, but not to Man Utd as people are say, nor will it be for 4m. More likley to be 2m + sell on fee's and they will move to either newly promted EPL teams or Championship teams who will push for promotion.

Main players saying are the likes of Boyd, Novo, Thompson (new capitan once Weir picks up his pension), Edu, Papac Clubfoot and Novo as he doesn't want to go anywhere as his Scotish girlfiend who has just had another child doesn't want to leave Scotland.

Arrivals at Ibrox are likley to be players of championship class or even League 1 class who are only comanding wages under the 7.5k a week mark.

After the last couple of mediocre performances by the Man.United central midfield, rumours are growing strong that Sir Alex might take a dip into the transfer market.

United are lacking a creative spark and Sir Alex is looking for a playmakers such as Van der Vaart, Hamsik and Defour as players to replace the ageing Paul Scholes and the ineffective Michael Carrick.

There is also a possibilty of a left winger but that option will only be pursued in the summer because the main target is David Silva and Valencia are doubtful to let him go mid–season.

Players such as Nani, Anderson and Berbatov will be given till the end of the season to prove themselves or they might be shown the door in the summer.

20 Jan 2010 13:00:27
Get your facts right, Sky Bet are offering odds of 1/20 but its for Gerrard to be at the club when the window closes
Anyway, Kenwyne Jones has told Sunderland he wants to go to Liverpool and a deal is being talked about NOW, he might well be at Anfield tonight to watch the Spurs game

If bookies are seldom wrong then there's unwelcome news for Liverpool fans. One well known online betting site is stating that Steven Gerrard is 1/20 to leave Liverpool during the transfer window. Bye Bye!

Ipswich moneyman Marcus Evans has found himself short of liquid cash due to other business interest problems and looks set to cash in his stake in Ipswich.

He has become increasingly disillusioned with how Roy Keane has spent his money and sees very little chance of promotion to the Premier league, in fact relegation is liklier.

It is understood that he wanted to get rid of Keane earlier in the season but it would have proved too expensive.

With Kenny Miller and Nacho Novo hobbling off in Rangers Cup Tie against Hamilton last night. Walter Smith will make a loan approach for John Utaka of Portsmouth. Utaka missed out on African Nations duty with Nigeria and hopes to impress at Ibrox. Kyle Lafferty is playing to his potential at the minute and Kris Boyd is recovering from an operation. Failing this a surprise move for Benedict McCarthy from Blackburn Rovers may be made. John Fleck and Danny Wilson will soon sign long term contracts, commiting their futures to Rangers. Portuguese Pedro Mendes will likely depart for Lisbon on Friday in a deal worth 2 million. Weir will join the coaching staff next season and with Bougherra likely to join a Premiership side, a move for Sol Bamba from Hibs will be made.

CELTIC RUMOUR POSTERS!!!
Why oh Why do you feel such an urge to talk total nonsense and tell stories that are so untrue that its, welluntrue!!

'just saw Peter Lawell and Paul Lambert in the Hilton in Glasgow' EH? NO YOU DIDN'T!!!

'Michael Owen at Lennoxtown as we speak' EH? SO WAS THAT HIS TWIN PLAYING FOR MAN U AT THE SAME TIME?

'I just saw Robbie Keane in Kerrydale Street' AAARRGGGHH!

STOP TALKING NONSENSE!

There is a STRONG RUMOUR going around that the individuals posting this kind of nonsense are sad wee men!

The rumour doing the rounds amongst the REAL Celtic fans it that Tony Mowbray coat is on a very shoogly peg, and that tentative advances have been made to find out the availability of Paul Lambert should the inevitable occuur.

As for players in and out, the Scott Brown story isn't a rumour as its already over all the tabloids, but there are not 'blue chip' players on Celtics radar whatsoever!

To the Rangers fan that posted this

Owen at parkhead tonight? Get a grip, pretty sure i saw him come on for man utd tonight. I don't reckon you lot can pay rate any more than us–20 grand a week tops. Now for some rumours. Rangers won't go into admin with a 30m debt. The bank are there to stop the debt increasing, and to ensure rangers stop running at a loss. Expect the purse strings to remain tight until we can somehow run at a yearly profit, ie european football every season, be it champions league or europa, and some income from our soon to be successfull youth policy. BigScotto

Very close to the money – The Bank are alledgedly quite happy to let Rangers run with roughly this amount of debt, though I've heard they would like to see a reduction in outgoings and a cut in the debt of about £3m. Effectively the sale of one of their top earners would kill two birds with one stone – take them to roughly break even point – maybe 1 fringe player as well to go. The stumbling block is that Uncle Watties preferred option to go is Pedro Mendes – who nobody has shown any interest in.
On the takeover front – not going to happen anytime soon! The bank isn't interested in either losing serious money from the debt or devaluing MIH from the cheap sale of equity, which would be required for a takeover. (and this is the where you gers fans should be looking over your shoulder, as this company is in SERIOUS financial straights to the same bank – and they are your biggest shareholder!)
(btw Dave King is personna non grata with the British banking industry at the moment).

Hail Hail

John

Breaking news this morning from QPR:

A number of players are growing disenchanted with life at the club – 'continual chaos' one calls it – and there may be movememt out of the club this week and next:

Wayne Routledge – Hibs
Martin Rowlands – Swansea
Rowan Vine – Southampton
Peter Ramage – Middlesbrough
Lee Cook – Watford
Gareth Ainsworth – Notts Co (player/coach)
Gary Borrowdale – Wycombe Wanderers
Angelo Balanta – Aldershot
Mikele Leigertwood – Cardiff

Also, FA to investigate Briartore – bad times ahead for R's fans!

––––Hammers––––––––––––
Now that Mr. Sullivan and Mr. Gold have control of our beloved club, expect to see 2, maybe 3 names in this window. As Sullivan said yesterday, the club has waaaaaaay too many midfielders and are thin in the other positions. Therefore, players will be joining. 2 defenders and 1 attacker. The difference is that Zola will not have to sell to raise the money for these transfers, and had a meeting with Gold and Sullivan last nght to talk about targets.

Defence:
The names Alan Hutton, Rod Fanni, Miach Richards have been mentioned and linked with the Hammers at one point. Obviously I don't know for defo which is catching Zola's eye but the squad has been missing pace, and therefore Richards may be the player Zola tries to sign. However, Man City may hold out for too much money for Gold and Sullivan to comprehend. I would therefore expect Hutton to join us.

Attack:
Many names have been linked. Marlon Harewood, Bobby Zamora, Jermaine Beckford, James Beattie, Mario Boletti and Roman Pavlyuchenko have all been mentioned at one point or another. Expect at least one of these names in before the end of the transfer window!

Saw the starting line up for Celtic vs Morton tonight, you would've thought comfortable win for celtic but they still struggled.

As a rangers fan I'm not scared of that line up as i was when celtic were under control of strachan, oneill, or even tommy burns (RIP)

Celtic to drop mowbray in the summer for Paul Lambert. Mowbray will take a job in th championship ensuring no pay off package for 'tic and just compensation money for lambert. Lambert to install henrik larsson as his assistant looking at a future that makes walter's to reigns at ibrox look like nothing. This is coming from a Gers fan Tims and i dread the day Paul and Henrik arrive back in the dark side of Glasgow.

Meanwhile om the blue side of Glasgow – Souness and Kind will complete a takeover of the club before the end of the season which rangers will win by a good 8–10 points. Walter will move upstairs and will oversee any players which are wanted by Ally and Kenny even tho they are also at looking at bringin in Stuart McCall and Brian Laudrup as first team coaches and Jorg Albertz as a youth coach (this is to encourage german youngsters to glasgow)

They will try to bring in David Healy and a left back and will try with a 4 3 3. They will offload smith Mendes weir (joining coaching team) Bougherra may leave depending on offers after world cup. If so a replacement will be signed.

Rangers to line up

GK. Alan Mcgregor
RB. Whittaker
LB. Papac
CB. Bougherra
CB. Wilson
CM. Davis
CM. Thomson
CM. Edu
FW. Miller
FW. Boyd
FW. Healy

Fleck and Wilson will accept new contracts as mccoist sees them as the future of Rangers FC with Danny Wilson being touted as the next captain!!!

Some rumuors from Norway:
20 year old talented central defender Even Hovland from Sogndal is wanted by Manchester United. He has trained with United a couple of times before christmas.
Per Ciljan Skjelbred of Rosenborg is a familiar name when it comes to rumours. Fulham continue to buy Norwegians and now the follow Skjelbred.
Vadim Demidov from Rosenborg is a young talened defender and midfielder who are followed closely by a number of english teams.

To the poster requesting translation of Polish article on Google News. Here one is (roughly)

"Barnsley FC is reportedly interested Semir Stiliciem – write in Bosnia. Offers from England if not – say, in turn, Lech.

Information, the Bosnian media reported "Sports Review". Scouts club championship (Premier League Meeting) tasked the player the team manager Mark Robinsowi. Barnsley would have to hire a top player.

For now, however, the case takes place only in the media. Lech says that there is no bid for the midfielder. Štilić is, however, consent to any transfer, so that the proposal must also satisfy the club from Poznan.

Barnsley FC to 16 League Championship team.

Recall also that the eye of English teams is another lechita Robert Lewandowski. According to the magazine "The peop" sniper interested in such Fulham and Stoke City."

–––

I think this says that Barnsley have show interest but no offer has been made but stilic's club would be willing to listen to offers.

Good find by the way, a rumour with some substance.

> Can someone who understands Polish search google news with "Barnsley FC" for todays news and explain whats said re Barnsley on the polish sites.

Think what they're say is you're after Bosnian Semir Stilic from Lech Poznan. I've got a funny feeling he's the eastern european Ian Holloway flew out to look at as well a couple of days ago. He was claiming Celtic were after him a couple of weeks ago.

Genuine information for everton fans nothing untrue or deluded. Possibly one loan defender coming in this window. Everton however will boost their squad in the summer with 3 free transfer signings of kilgallon joe ledley and jermaine beckford. Leeds are furious and are considering reporting everton to the league as they did with youngster luke garbutt. Yakubu will be sold in the summer like destination stoke city any funds from that deal will go on a new striker. Everton are trying to keep louis saha however. Only other possible out is joseph yobo moyes is getting frustrated with injuries and poor form. Steven taylor is moyes first choice replacement however a more likely signing is michael dawson. Thats everton transfer news for the year guys barring a take over you don't need read the papers for gossip anymore !

Even though Clint Dempsey is not long–term injured, the Cottagers need to replace him for a couple of months and they will do so by tapping the American pipeline and purchasing Stuart Holden from Houston Dynamo, who will not have a visa problem due to his Scottish dad. Holden to Fulham for 1.9 mln pounds, this is the perfect arrangement as Holden is Dempsey's heir apparent with the US nats.

Hello again, not loads to report.. Maybe adriano from sevilla joining Benfica on loan in the summer, whispers of Kevin Nolan joining Evrton in a 6 mil deal and Chris eagles loks set to go to the reebok for 3 mil. With Liverpool nothing AGAIN unfortunately. Alll is quiet all i can say is thierry Henry may think twice about his loyalty and might go to liverpool in the summer. Doubtable but who knows with ex gunners captain vierra goining to city. Henry has always wanted to play with gerrard and has a fascination with liverpool fc.

I am not Rafa's plumber, gardener, nor meat cutter, but do have journo friends on the Merseyside sport beat. Liverpool is prepared to solve their "wing" problem by twin signings of Joaquin Sanchez and Ricardo Quaresma. They will sell Kyrgiakos and Babel, the former to West Ham and the latter to Spurs, to make this happen.

20 Jan 2010 00:14:46
Michael Owen at Parkhead yesterday? Must have been his evil twin playing at City then! To deluded Celtic fans, there will be no Robbie Keane, RVN, Michael Owen, Pavluchenko or any other blue chip signing but please keep these "rumours" coming as it is terrific entertainment value for all fans of the website. The fact u had to lose 4 players before bringing anyone in and so far your transfer activity extends to Livingston rejects, Norwegian 19 year olds and a 25 year old Aussie journeyman on trial tells u all u need to know about ur budget! Rangers fans accept financially they are struggling and there will be no new signings but offloading players and administration? Jackanory! Jackanory! We have alledgedly had to do that for the past year now and it hasnt happened, still no sign of Lloyds selling players or closing us and we are halfway through January! Maybe the establishment is having another influence on this title race, eh bhoys?
Anyway a real rumour, I don't work in a club shop and my girlfriend isn't anyone's PA but I am neighbours with family of Aiden McGeady and he is looking to move to the premiership sooner rather than later. He believes he has achieved all he can at celtic but so far offers have not tempted him. However, a summer move is likely as he looks to take the next step in his career. Dont get excited tho bhoys, a fifteen million offer from tottenham plus robbie keane is unlikely to ever materialise.
Mind the gap!

Right, lets put these Gerrard and Torres stories to bed. Neither will leave no matter if Rafa stays or goes or if Liverpool fail to qualify for the Champions League. Gerrard did not have a bust up with anyone during half–time of the Reading match. Gerrd was carrying a knock anyway and had an injection to play but wanted to come off half time as Liverpool were winning and he didn't want to do any lasting damage. Babel was told by Rafa he was going on but he refused to change until he was out infront of the fans and the cameras. This is why he was fined and left out of the squad to face Stoke at the weekend. There has been no row between Gerrard, Rafa and the backroom staff. Now for Torres. He will not leave the club in January, the summer, or next season for that matter. Torres is fully committed to Liverpool and wants to help get them out of the situation they find themselves in and push on under a new manager next season. Rafa does not have a special relationship with any players but some respect him more than others and Torres is one of these players but he will not leave. I have heard that Liverpool will try and get a striker, Kenwyne Jones is pushing for a move and he is Rafa's first choice. It now all hinges on whether a loan move can be agreed.

Klass Huntelaar will sign for Liverpool or Ajax on loan til summer.

Senderos back to AC Milan, Celtic or Atletico Madrid on loan.

Arsenal to wait for Bendtner to return and not sign a new striker.

Sergio Aguero & Mario Balotelli to Man City in window or summer.

After a disastrous performance against Greenock Morton, and scraping a 1–0 victory, Peter Lawwell and co. now see no other option but to sack Mr Mowbray.

Numerous candidates who may take over. Keane (Roy), Gary Megson, Mark Hughes???, Neil Lennon, George Burley, Gary Neville, Jim Magilton, Paul Hart all distinct possibilities who may be interested in taking over. Except maybe Mark Hughes.

My number one choice would be Roy Keane. Loves the club, loves the fans, and you can guarantee that he is dreading the direction in which this club is heading.

Impossible to name targets as there would be no manager but you would expect Keano to bring a chorus of top–notch Championship players. Darren Pratley, Brian Stock, Matty Fryatt, Nicky Maynard, etc.

High Hopes Ahead For The Hoops
The Trump Card
