Hibernian news:
Moroccan striker Benji is reluctant to come back to Hibs and is on trial with Egyptian side Al–Ahli, with reputed interest too from FC Bochum among others. Hibs will be looking for a fee as he has a year of his contract left. 500k (Euros) or so would probably be enough.
There is already a rumour that young Hibs striker Kurtis Byrne is attracting the attention of several big clubs including EPL giants Arsenal. This lad has a huge future but may decide to stay with Hibs at present where he is likely to play 1st team football and benefit from excellent training facilities.
On the players in front, there are two triallists currently training with Hibs. One is a Greek goalkeeper and the other a 'tall guy' who might be a defender in the stamp of Rob Jones, who is now at Scunthorpe.

Alex Ferguson has been rocked by Wayne Rooney telling him he only wants to stay for one more season before trying his luck abroad. He will be offered a bumper new contract to persuade him to stay or to ensure they get maximum value if he does leave.
Xabi Alonso will stay at Liverpool for one more season after Benitez told him he can leave for a reasonable price next summer. Benitez feels that Javi Martinez is not quite ready for the step up this year and will buy him next year to replace Alonso. One more signing this summer will be David Silva. Two players leaving will be Arbeloa and Dossena. Also expect two young Serbians to be signed for the reserves.
Chelsea will replace John Terry with a player from Shaktar Donetsk who I will not attempt to spell. Essien has been told he can find another club as Pirlo will join before the season gets underway. Expect one last massive bid for Alexader Pato. Whether it is successful or not depends entirely on the players wishes.

Just heard from a very reliable source that Lee Trundle is being loaned to Tranmmere for the season as he is surplus to requirments at Ashton Gate and they will be able to re coup some of his wages in the last year of his contract by loaning him out
Although i mostly receive liverpool rumours from my source. he today told me something very interesting regarding arsenal. he has informed me that for sometime now wenger has been obsessed with finding the next patrick vieira, wenger had hoped for abou diaby to blossom into a commanding figure on the pitch and in the dressing room as AW seees this as important. wenger has two youngsters in mind to sign and become vieira mark 2. the first of which i believe to be common knowledge is blaise matuidi who is 22 years old and has been watched by giles grimandi for some time now. the other is lukman haruna who plays for as monaco and has been described as a carbon copy of vieira , the one stumbiling block is the fact is he is 17 and wenger wants someone for the present. kollon man.

Have heard today that Alonso is rufusing to ask for a transfer as he believes Rafa owes him the dignity to leave the club without the fans baying for his blood. The two Spaniards have come to the agreement that Alonso can leave but only on Rafa's terms. This could mean him waiting til his replacement/other players are brought in so Liverpool aren't forced to pay over the odds.
Just because today (19th July) was quoted as deadline day don't think Alonso will be here come August 31st. . unfortunately!

Man Utd are preparing a bid of 45mil for David Villa, who has been left stranded by Real and Barca in recent weeks. He seems to be warming to the idea, especially once barca moved for Ibrahimovich. His representatives have been contacted by United and have been assured that SAF's comments have been to minimize distractions and prevent having to overpay for their targets.
The second big news for United is the agreement with Atletico Madrid for Sergio Aguero. United have finally agreed to pay his buyout clause of 55mil euros (not pounds) and place him amongst the clubs top earners, however they must now convince Aguero to make the move this summer. He's concerned that struggling to quickly adapt to the Prem could hurt his chances to play for Argentina in the WC next year. Either way, he will eventually be brought to Old Trafford.
Sir Alex is not stupid, and knows that he has 80mil from Ronaldo, 25mil he had set aside for tevez, 10–20mil from sales of youth players (Manucho, eckersley, martin, campbell, etc), and the 25mil annual transfer budget. That means that he has upwards of 140 mil to spend this summer if he so chooses, he just isn't going to rush and try to match Real Madrid signing for signing.

Rafa Benitez will only buy two more players if Alonso seals his move to Real Madrid for 32m. He needs a left winger and a replacement in midfield for Alonso. Rafa still has about 13m from his transfer kitty and the 32m will bring that up to 45m. David Silva is Rafa's number 1 target and is willing to go as high as 25m to sign him. If Valencia refuse to sell he will turn to his new arch–nemesis Martin O'Neill for Ashley Young. He will have to bid higher at around 30m to prise the England winger away from Villa Park. Ash is said to be interested in a move to a Top 4 club, considering that it is a World Cup year and Aston Villa are not playing in the Champions League or are in the Premier League title race.

Sheikh Maktoum are finally ready to make their move to buy Liverpool FC. This will not be with DIC, just a solo bid. Man City’s owners are taking far to glamour away from Dubai and the Sheikh wants to compete with them. His proposition to the Americans is around £360mil, which they would accept. He would also provide funds for Rafa Benitez to sign pretty much whoever he wants (likely to be a 35mil net kitty after Johnson’s arrival).
There would be money available for big new contracts which will keep the likes of Mascherano & Torres at the club.
According to Norwegian newspaper VG, John Arne Riise's brother, Bjorn Helge, has signed for an undisclosed fee for Fulham.
