The big signing if it comes off will be worth it, it will bring season tickets sales up. That is what worries Higgs so he is going to fund the deal.

Like I said keep looking on here for more news.

"Comrades!!

Liverpool has not been sold so stop being silly. There may be a 'Memorandum Of Understanding' in place, or a 'Gentleman's Agreement' (watch either or both of these phrases appear in rumours now LOL),

RED LENIN"

Hmmm. I think you are new to this site RED LENIN. The words "Memorandum of understanding" was used in relation to the takeover of LFC over a month ago. No longer LOL now hey?

BREAKING NEWS

Joe Cole's agent is in talks with Qatari side Al–Sadd (who have also signed Dindane from Portsmouth), but Cole is thought to want a lot to go out there (although he isn't seeing them until after the World Cup), obviously not as good quality as the Premier League. Word on the street is he is trying to get someone to offer more cash by getting a high offer from the Sheiks, he does not intend to go there.

Should be interesting.

20 Jun 2010 23:14:55
I hope rangers are going for the defender other than the Tommy Smith of portsmouth that is worth around 1.5million and only scored 1 goal in 16 games last season, that is the last thing we need!

GersNo1
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
You bid £300,000 for Portsmouths Tommy Smith (1 goal in 16 games) which was swiftly rejected.Would be surprised if you went back in for him with the price Portsmouth are wanting.

Wigan are planning big changes this summer hoping not to repeat last years shambles :( lol

Alcaraz (done deal) Free

Real Targets:
Rangel – Swansea
N'Guemo–Nancy
Emilio Izaguirre
Mauro Boselli
Pierre Webo
Antonio Adan
James McArthur
Andrew Driver
Nyron Nosworthy
Ilan

not all of these will be signed but definetly 2–4 will be plus Alcaraz and more after martinez spots his world cup talent so in total 5–7 new players at wigan next season

The reason most of these havent been concluded is due to complications and the World Cup.

ON THE JOE COLE THING

Can i just say the whole thing about him not wanting to move away from london (BULLST) he always said he would like to play abroad and manchester and liverpool and the rest of england is only a stone throw from london. so stop that rumour that he is staying in london because its crap he will go were ever he gets the most money and playing week in week out personaly i think man utd are liverpool if they go for him.

The Face man

i agree with you totally joe cole has said that he would go out of london
but his wife wants to stay in lodon that's why he will go to Arsenal or Tottenham

20 Jun 2010 22:56:51
Shorey has signed for forest, like I stated weeks ago! Inital fee of 850k rising to 1.5 mil after appearances etc.. Expect some signings to be announced late part of this week early next

20 Jun 2010 22:18:06
Alot of the Celtic rumours on here are about players coming in so heres one about one player expected to leave.

Before they stopped for there summer break Artur Boruc bought and gave all the securiry personel an expensive bottle of champagne each and wished them all well.

The jist they got is that it was a going away present and they don't expect him here this coming season and with only a year left on his current contract Celtic would be best advised to try sell him on this summer as he won't be signing a new one.

Make of this as you wish.

Well, firstly, i am a rich banker with my fingers in man pies. The rumours here are all true and bound to happen in the next week.

1. Liverpool will be bought by 4 different rich Sheikhs and pretty much half of the middle east will become shareholders.

2. Every player who seems vaguely okay at the world cup will be signed by some club. e.g. Gervinho, Higuain, Govou, Jong Tae–Se or Matias Fernandez.

3. Celtic will sign lots of old players on loan who are past their best. E.g. Petrov, Keane, Bellamy, Bullard.

4. Also, any vaguely wealthy person from Glasgow will be linked with buying Rangers.

5. Finally, Liverpool will get Dalglish as manager with a backroom staff of Pellegrini, Hodgson, Hiddink, Lippi, Eriksson, Bilic, Klinsmann, O'Neill and Redknapp. However; Van Gaal will not become part of the backroom staff.

I swear this will all happen in the nextweek and be confirmed by many people posting things on rumour sites.

Will Hoskins has been looking at houses in the Staple Hill area of the city and because watford released no fee would be required. Expect more details within the next week.

As for Barry Hayles it is possible, only stumbling block would be that Mark Yates still wants him at Cheltenham but he would love to return to the gas.

As for other signings like I said meetings this week, one POSSIBLE big signing to come but that is at a very early stage with us just contacting the club.

Will report back soon.

UP THE GAS
––––––––––––––––––
Very good news about Hoskins as he is a very good player, I would be delighted to sign him.

Fair enough on the Hayles move, hopefully it will come off.

This 'POSSIBLE' big signing sounds exciting but I know not to get my hopes up!

Thanks for the info mate, keep me up to date!

Sorry but does anyone really know where joe cole will be playing next season as everytime I look on this site it seems he is going to another premier league team, so is it Arsenal, man utd, spurs, liverpool or man city, they only thing I think is certain is he won't be at chelsea

arsenal are favourites to sign him but spurs will rival them all the way
united, city and liverpool won't happen due to he doesn't want to move away from london

Wenger will try to buy
Schwarzer
J.Cole
Koscielny
Bougherra

a very good and very famous footballing author friend of mine seems 100% certain he will be going to spurs,

I work in the NHS and occasionally goto a few football grounds. On visiting Crewe Alex ground the other day, there is a guy there who also stewards at anfield and says as far as he knows, King Kenny WILL be taking over the hotseat untill prob september when the board can settle things down. He will have control of the day to day management including transfers etc. It makes sense because appointing a manager now may not be perminant and I don't think there will be many takers.

To the ass–clown who wrote

Arsenal are going to win next year due to an influx of desirable and astute players. most will be unheard of indefinitely and don't be surprised that a major player from the squad will leave of which im not allowed to mention the name (rvp) and a holding central role will be kept by either of the following:

mehul ozil: 20 m
iniesta (straight swap with febregas)
gorcuff: 18k
joeseph cole: free
malouda: 20m
huylens: ?m

first off learn how to spell mezut you tool !
secondly iniesta would never leave barca hes the most creative midfielder they have
and third but most ridiculos, MALOUDA are you on acid, first off he is one of the best players chelsea have and why would we sell him to a rival club .. your a dreamer .. now for my rumours

CHELSEA = 2 big signings and no yossi benayoun is not 1 of them .. seriously who the is yossi benayoun, no1 that's who.
two of these will come for definite, although im not too sure which ones,
Ribery
Kaka
Torres
Aguero
Ibrahimovic
Schweinsteiger

you have been surved

Re:
To the person who posted on 20 Jun 2010 at 18:02:57 that ".LFC have been sold 2 days ago.I have said it a few times now – last effort wasn't posted – but i KNOW what is going on. . And if it doesn't happen (still not signed off) then expect Roy HOdgson or Dalglish as manager. If neither of these two are appointed – it's because the deal has been sealed."

Mmm. So LFC were sold two days ago and they haven't yet been sold. Oh, and you know what is going on. Great, now things are much clearer.

If you bothered to read the entire post you'd see that the first part, above the line of asterisks (like with your comment), came from ANOTHER poster, not me. I DID NOT say that the club was sold two days ago. I DO, however, know what's going on because I am directly involved. As I've said before any potential deal was being held up by Tom Hicks' demands. Once RBS removed him from the equation, the chances of a deal being completed increased. But the deal (and there are still 2 other bids on the table) won't happen overnight. A bid HAS been accepted and there is preliminary paperwork (I've LOOKED at it) There will be many comings and goings at the club in the next two weeks. But the deal will take some more time. That's how big business works I'm afraid.

I posted last week and said that you'd have to read between the lines but let me make it clearer for you. Had LFC appointed Dalglish or Hodgson – no deal. The fact that they haven't means SOMETHING. There IS a new manager – although only if a certain bid is FULLY accepted and RATIFIED. This bid (of £590m) is the one being talked about. The other bidders HAVEN'T been asked about their intentions regarding a new manager yet (and probably won't be as the £590m bid has, in principle, been accepted by ALL parties). We are awaiting FULL RATIFICATION. I CANNOT say who the top bidders are but they ARE from the middle–east and they are connected to 'antelopes'.

Believe what you like but a 'secret' this big was NEVER going to remain hidden. LFC's future is very, very secure.

West ham/everton aston villa all in for martin petrov , newcastle prepared to offer 1.5m for samaras [celtic] , terms offered to boyd from boro/newcastle, davis [rangers] wanted by blackpool/stoke/wolves. Looks like sol campbell going north in a 2 year deal to celtic ! , david nugents agent has been in talks with celtic , boro have offered 2.2m for celtics mcmanus who looks set to join the reds could be a decent signing for us. Burnley fc

I was working at the burnley fc club owners mantion last night, a very nice house, as he was celebrating his and his wifes 25th anniversary. When he was drunk, i asked him who he wanted to sign for the club, or if anyone was on their way to turf moor. His reply was 'well, there has been a couple of players coming to look round this week, including jason koumas from wigan, and darren carter from preston, we will have to see what happens though'.

Bristol city are set to sign slovak left back jan durica from lokomotiv moscow on a free transfer

also have are close to signing filip holosko from besiktas

this week marcus tudgay and gary hooper will sign for bristol city paving the way for nicky maynard to sign for burnley"

WRONG! No bids have been made for Maynard, just an enquiry. City wanted more than Burnley wanted to pay, theyre signing Sharp instead. City have never been interested in Durica or Holosko, you just saw the Slovakia game and made up some BS.
REAL TARGETS INCLUDE (Wont all join obviously, probably one of each position maybe two strikers)
Kitson + Henderson + Morrison (FW)
Sonko + O'Dea (CB)
Lee Naylor + Shorey + Bertrand (LB)
Tobias Hysen + Bouazza + Stanislas (LW)

FOR THE HUNDRETH TIME!
Sheffield Wednesday WILL NOT spend any money on transfer fees this summers so any posts which suggest they will are totally bogus.

Across the City Sheffield United will complete 2 deals this week a full back and a centre half are due for medicals on wednesday, and yes I know its a cliche but I have been asked not to make names public. A goalkeeper will sign on 1st July, no surprises who that will be.

Billy Sharp has spoken to Burnley and deal to finally be completed by Friday.

Arsenal are planning to sign Luis Fabiano from Sevilla for around £24 million after Cesc Fabregas leaves the club for Barcelona shortly after the World Cup. Arsene Wenger will also sign Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen and midfielder Mesut Ozil from Weder Bremen who will be a big money replacement for Fabregas at around £22 million. Barcelona are believed to be preparing around £38 million for the Arsenal captain. Wenger is also keen on goalkeeper Federico Marchetti.

AVFC News:

The USA's Michael Bradley is a target for The Villains, and hopefully a deal will be done soon.

We are also hoping to convince Austrian striker Marc Janko to sign for us, sabotaging the Blues bid. Robbie Keane and Peter Crouch also on the radar.

There will also be deals to offload the deadwood off to other Premiership/Championship sides:

Isaiah Osbourne – Leicester City
Nicky Shorey – Cardiff City/Nottingham Forest
Curtis Davies – Fulham
Barry Bannan – Blackpool

Also loan deals for:

Eric Lichaj (Sheffield Wednesday)
Chris Herd (Port Vale)
Jonathan Hogg (Darlington – tbm permanent)
Shane Lowry (Swindon Town)

robbie keane we would drive him to either you or blues, but i wouldn't get too excited with regards to crouch! harry likes him and will keep him esp with champions league

To the idiot that said this

"Ah. The recent Forest v City rivalry raises it's head. Last season was the best Forest season for years – relegation fodder before that and League one before that. Your best years are done mate and you are no better/worse than a lot of championship clubs."

Bristol City may believe us to be rivals but you are nothing to us, much like your trophy cabinet. our best days may be gone but at least we had some!

Austin is close to agreeing terms with forest and they have matched the asking price but want to pay in installments due on appearances etc but Swindon want 1.5mill now.

Thats all for now.. Bristol City ha ha ha our rivals what a joke! EEjit!

To the Poster of the EMAAR link – why would LFC tell you who has bought LFC, when in all the other forums its all hush hush rumours and smokescreens.
I think someone else has purchased LFC but not EMAAR it was a fake name they gave you

20 Jun 2010 19:58:05
I stated a few days ago that prince faisal al saud was to be new owner of lfc so i well believe the EMARR post , as you will find the prince owns EMAAR its a constructive company and it will build the new ground .it all ties in with what as happened of late the al hillal Game, the prince was not impressed with Rafa that's why he as gone, expect parry and ablett back at the club.
Noooooooooooooo . of all the good and bad rumours that have been posted on this site about my team/religion – that is the one that has frightened me the most. The only place in football for Rick PARRY is maybe a ball boy at Chester City ( I apologise to Chester City fans for dumping him on them )that man who almost single handedly dragged an institution into the gutter, ably assisted in later years by Benitez.

Liverpool are in desperate need of a few areas and left back is one of them has anyone noticed arsenal have 3 young talented lb's whoevers manager in the near future it may be worth trying to sign one since there young and would love the first team football. clichy, gibbs, traore. it would be between gibbs and traore as clichy would laugh at the idea but there all class and the two youngsters would love 1st team football.

lpool ins. ireland, s.w.p, will probs see the youngsters shine next season as we lack funds.

man u.. sneijder possibility elia if he has a good world cup

city. anyone who can kick a ball and is overpriced

chelsea. got a sneaky feeling kaka and maybe yaya toure.

yes i no i ive commented on other teams but i can see them being possibilitys espesh citeh..

20 Jun 2010 19:57:32
Just my opinion!

I think the Earnshaw swap with Whittingham has some truth..
Earnie is a class player a natural goal scorer, but doesn't fit in Billys Forest side. Away from home we usually play with 1 striker which is usually Dex as he has the pace and stength to hold the ball up and pack the midfield. We only chuck Earnie on with 15 minutes left to try and snatch a goal if we havent won the game already. Eanshaw is to good to only play home games, he is a Cardiff lad, ex Cardiff player. fan?
Whittingham would be a good addition to a young Forest side who could do with some more experienced players. We wasnt the same side after losing Mckenna towards the end of last season and would of surely been promoted had he stayed fit.

Shorey has to be number 1 priority!! I hope the rumours are true about the deal being done.

Pratley would also add some steel to the midfield especially for the away games.

Austin also seems likely as Earnies replacement with us agreeing to a pre season friendly as part of the deal.

All in all if these deals happen a championship winning side.

Shorey to Forest, £900k – has just been completed.

The fee might surprise a few people, but Forest have a history of getting good players at knock–down prices (Lee Camp, Dexter Blackstock, Radoslaw Majewski, etc) and Villa want rid.

SAF is yet to decide if berbatov is staying suarez has impressed him and he is also looking at Diego Milito there is also a possibility of diego forlan returning yet i doubt it sneijder WILL arrive from Inter as rafa is trying to build his own team di maria wants to join united but saf won't pay 30–40 million and forget about Karim Benzema after the revelations about his private life hamsik may be an alternative to di maria and sanchez's price has sky rocketed forget about de rossi or L.diarra coz we already have fletcher and hargreaves kjaer subotic or chiellini to come if vidic leaves
what do you think?
Red head

REAL MADRID HAVE HAD A 25M EURO'S OFFER ACCEPTED BY BENFICA FOR DI MARIA, THEY ARE WAITING FOR THE WORLD CUP TO FINISH BEFORE FINALIZING THE DEAL, IF UNITED WERE TO EQUAL IT THEN HE WOULD HAVE THE CHOICE OF EITHER UNITED OR REAL MADRID, THIS IS AROUND £20M. SO THE 30–40M YOU HAVE QUOTED IS WAY OFF THE MARK.

I can bet my life on it, DLF was interested in buying LFC. Think whatever you want, DLF interest was 1000000% genuine.DLF has now become the world's largest real estate company in terms of revenues, earnings, market capitalisation and developable area.
The main intention to buy LFC was they are planning to expand globally and LFC was going to used for exposure. It certainly was a short term investment though.

Comrades Editor and Hero of The Masses!

You wrote {editor's note – I am not convinced, I know the guy posted with an Indian address, but it is no real proof.}

Is quite correct. Someone who works for a foreign corporation but works in the UK and is loggin–in at work through the corporate site will generate a foreign IP. Some of you comrades will log in at work and log on to the National Lottery site and will get a page asking you to confirm you are in he UK – that's why, you are coming to their site via a foreign IP. AOL subscribers also have similar problems with the BBC site occasionally if the subscriber tries to access it through AOL homepage as opposed to Internet Explorer. The BBC site then thinks you are in America.

Just can't see EMAAR buying LFC. EMAAR is a owned by the Dubai government, and the whole state (Dubai) had to bailed out by Abu Dhabi to meet its debt obligations. Also EMAAR is heavily indebted to RBS so would be strange to think RBS would give this deal the go ahead..??

Will Hoskins has been looking at houses in the Staple Hill area of the city and because watford released no fee would be required. Expect more details within the next week.

As for Barry Hayles it is possible, only stumbling block would be that Mark Yates still wants him at Cheltenham but he would love to return to the gas.

As for other signings like I said meetings this week, one POSSIBLE big signing to come but that is at a very early stage with us just contacting the club.

Plymouth Argyle wants to sign Smelts from Gold Glory, On Loan, then it would be two New Zealand strikers upfront for them

Plymouth will also sign:
GK–a young keeper
RB–an experianced but fast rightback
CB–Done N'Gala
LB–Done Bhasura
RM–fast who can put a good cross in
CM–someone who could score long range goals
LM–again a fast one who can cross
ST–strong with a bit of pace but can header the ball
Paterson done, but we need another like Smelts

to be honest that's every position, and they will only sign 3–4 players

20 Jun 2010 18:57:43
I just wanted to follow–up to my recent posts as there is due to be some movement this week within Liverpool Football Club and I'd rather post now than after…. I have mentioned previously about 8 members of the current backroom staff would leave (release contracts had been drawn up) and 16 of the players listed as eligible for the 1st team would be moved on as well. The backroom staff movements are scheduled to happen this week with replacements having already been identified and will be brought in before the first of the returning players reconvene the week after. From what I've heard before (of which the position hasn't changed), the replacement manager has already agreed to join but only 7 people know who he actually is, the only thing I know is that he is involved at the World Cup. He has agreed to join on the basis that confidentiality is maintained during the campaign so distractions for the participating players won't become an inevitable issue and if the country he is involved with doesn't perform well then it cannot be blamed on such a distraction. The so called interviews for a replacement should be taken lightly as a sideshow! This coincides with the fact the LFC panel had agreed in favour of a specific ownership transfer and needed ratifying by the existing owners. As I understand it, one of the existing owners agreed to the terms for full and final settlement, the other wanted to negotiate terms to include future trading receipts thereby complicating any sale (to such an extent that it looked like it could be jeopardised). So, the conditions for the purchase of the club were agreed in principle between the parties, allowing a strategy for pre–season activity to be legitimately developed) while the warranties against the purchase pended a negotiated conclusion. While the final negotiations of these warranties have been taking place, other interested parties have also made enquiries and their offers placed to one side for consideration if the warranties cannot be settled.
At the end of this week there is an expectation that ratification of the new ownership would be granted by the relevant football authorities to allow the ink to settle on the ownership contracts the week after.
So, the summary version:
Backroom staff – leavers announced this week, keep an eye out for this.
Backroom staff – Key personnel identified but only publicly installed after the new manager takes residence.
New Manager – Identified and agreed – low profile being deliberately orchestrated.
New Owners – Likely to be finalised (cash for stocks) and announced within 3 – 4 weeks.
Let the press have their say, the doubters have theirs but ultimately we will see in a few weeks time how the cards are truly dealt….

Michael Easterbrook (non LFC fan – for reference).

To all LFC fans, I've got some very interesting info about the sale of your club.LFC have been sold 2 days ago.I know this because I work as an assistant to a very high profile man of the company which tried to buy LFC. DLF owned by K P Singh is the company i'm talking about. The bid was GBP550m and it was rejected. They said that LFC has been sold for GBP590m to a middle east company.EMAAR will be the new owners.Would have been nice if we had bought LFC, think a billion hearts cheering for LFC but was a bit too late with bid.
Mr Editor you can confirm my IP Address also. {editor's note – it is an Indian IP address.}

RE:

The £590m bid by the Middle–Eastern Company is their THIRD bid for the club. The first was back in January, the second was around three weeks ago (just before Rafa was pushed out).

I have said it a few times now – last effort wasn't posted – but i KNOW what is going on. The ONLY hold up to anything has been TOM HICKS and he no longer has any say in negotiations. It is Broughton and RBS who are doing this deal.

oh and it's OWNERS plural – not singular. And if it doesn't happen (still not signed off) then expect Roy HOdgson or Dalglish as manager. If neither of these two are appointed – it's because the deal has been sealed.

This appears to be the most authentic rumour I'ved read in a while. Mr Ed has also confirmed the IP Address.
If this is true then HAPPy DAYS are ahead for us. Been reading up on EMAAR and they are massive. 32% owned by the Dubai government. This means the ruler of Dubai could have a hand in this. Remember, one of his right hand men (I can't remember the name) is a massive Liverpool supporter.

I really hope this is true. I'm tired of reading all sorts of rubbish being written about my beloved club. YNWA

Would love to hear your thoughts on this ed..

Re: The Tommy Smith kerfuffle

Daviebhoy, you could be wrong and right about Tommy Smith. The Tommy Smith playing for NZ is an Ipswich Town player, one we think highly of. He holds dual citizenship, and took advantage of the recent rule changes to declare for New Zealand. However, he also played for England's U–17s and the U–17 World Cup in 2007.

However, As Rangers are also interested in Gareth McAuley (another Ipswich Town defender), I would highly doubt that Roy Keane would allow both McAuley AND Tommy Smith to go to Rangers.

Just like last season celtic will go for mostly loan signings. they will go for Bellamy, Keane and Bullard all on load with sol campbell coming in for free, we will sell mcgeady and replace him with lawrence, which will leave enough money to pay keane and bellamy's wages.

rangers will only go for players from inside scotland eg. Goodwillie, mcarthur so on as well as the odd one or two picked up from scouts at the world cup

Just to clear up all the rumours here a move to Celtic for Sol Campbell appears imminent as during an interview new First Team Coach of Celtic Alan Thompson let it slip that his next door neighbour would be none other than Sol. Some important points to consider:
Tresor Kandol appears to be joining Scthorpe, or at least a league 1 team.

Joe Anyinsah was released by Carlisle, and is looking to move closer to home.
Closer to home, and to a League 1 club or Championship club.

Emaar to buy Liverpool? Emaar is a quoted Dubai–based property company that has a number of related side interests such as a hotel chain and is branching out into leisure. It also built the world's tallest building – the Burj Khalifa. Like most developers in the UAE it has had a rough time recently but is recovering. I haven't heard even a whisper about this. I would have to guess they'd look to finance the deal which is unlikely to be looked upon favourably but you never know..

Rangers bid for Tommy Smith of PORTSMOUTH was a couple weeks ago so surprised you missed it.

Rangers are now interested in New Zealand centrehalf Tommy Smith because your trying to save face, nice.

McCoist said he's watching games including New Zealands to try find a gem but its good to know he's keeping in contact with you on on who he's looking at.

Wolves News:

In's:
Stephen Hunt is virtually a done deal as part of double deal including Mouyokolo believed to be around £6m for the 2 but unable to sign on same day, should be unveiled sumtime next week.

Jamie O'Hara (4m) depending on wages.

Andre Bikey (3m) not sure we need him now Mouyokolo has signed.

Reo–Coker (3–4m) again depending on wages and if we can't do a deal for O'Hara.

Rumours of another top quality forward signing but its all hush hush about who, my source says he will smash our club record but unsure on realiabilty of this as Fletcher was signed to partner Doyle.

Outs:

Surman back to Southampton for undisclosed fee.

Keogh to leeds for around 1.5m

Ebanks–blake to go on seaon long loan to Blackpool.

Halford to leave for around 1.5m although unsure as to where.

My source tells me that Milijas is un–happy and if he doesn't get played more next season he will be looking to move on. If O'Hara or Reo–Coker sign then it looks likey that this will happen as Mc'Carthy already seems to favour Jones and Guiediora ahead of him.

As for rumours of Doyle's departure to villa, arsenal etc, there is no truth to it what so ever as Mc'Carthy's aim is to partner Fletcher and Doyle together and it would take silly amounts to let him go, Talking £15m to even consider a deal.

My source is very reliable as he works for the club but for obvious reasons cannot be named.

Mr Editor you can confirm my IP Address also. {editor's note – it is an Indian IP address.}

My mistake, I was told that a bid was being made for Tommy Smith, i just ASSUMED it was the same one, the one that is being bid for is the one at the WC (and possibly one othe New Zealander)

As I said tho, my mistake with the Tommy Smith, I just assumed it was the same, one, which is why I wrote "improved"

Reply to
Silva has stated before that if he joins a premier league team it would be Liverpool or United. Not happening though as Valencia have recently came out and said he isn't for sale anymore now that they've sold Villa.
Mascherano valued at £25m (maximum), Torres valued at £60m (maximum) & Gerrard valued at £45m (maximum). where can anyone get £250m from if Liverpool sold these 3 players? Lol.
Roy Hodgeson will be named new LFC manager sometime in the week and the man to replace Hodgeson at Fulham will be Mark Hughes.
United are showing interest in Wesley Sneijder and Danielle De Rossi. Carrick/Anderson could be on their way out, Zoran Tosic has already been sold. SAF claimed that Dimitar Berbatov would not be sold towards the end of the season but if a bid of around £20m comes in for him (which is what AC Milan are lining up after the WC) then SAF will sell him.

I think u read his post wrong as he said Liverpool need to spend 100m and if torres gerrard and the others leave they will need to spend 250m not that we wil get 250m from selling them players

Right I'm sorry but I am getting a little annoyed with liverpool fans thinking they will be great next season and make many nes signings. DREAM ON! Is it just me or does anybody remember what happened to Leeds? Sound familiar to the new scenario. Liverpool will HAVE to sell their best players just to possibly break even! Liverpool will deteriorate and fall down the leagues. Not saying this will happen next season, but it will be soon. And to be honest with you all, Man U are not that far behind either. So please please PLEASE stop posting bull about liverpool making £40million signings. Not going to happen.

Other news:

Scott Parker has committed himself to West Ham for the long–term.

Arsenal look favourites to secure J.Cole with competition from Man City (cole will chose arsenal over city any day of the week)

Looks like if Konchesky moves from Fulham it won't be to Birmingham but to West Ham.

Manchester United and Chelsea are trying to sign B.Schweinsteiger from B.Munich. They face competition from Real Madrid for his signature.

Comrades!

In order to assist you with your rumour–studies I have – selflessly and without complaint – sudied all major newspapers yesterday and today spuring for information on the beloved Liverpool. I have mashed, filtered, analysed and levelled–out and am now proud to announce the following as the main them of play.

The next manager will be Hodgson. Or Pellegrini. Or Dalglish. Or according to one highly respected broadsheet journalist, David Moyes (I kid you not). Also on the shortlist – Mark Hughes. Hodgson in turn will be replaced at Fulham by Erikson. Or Capello who is going to be fired now unless England win. The appointment will be temporary contract of 1 year, renewal dependent on plans of prospective buyers. If Hodgson is next manager Dalglish will leave. Dalglish thinks he is better than all candidates. Broughton is unhappy with Dalglish standing as he sees is as 'divisive' (by that I assume he means he isn't going to pick him and knows the fans won't be happy).

Torres is definately staying. Mascherano definately going. Gerrard 50/50.

The club has not been sold and won't be for months to come at least. Or possibly next week. There are three serious contenders – Arab, Chinese and Indian. None are offering anywhere near Dumb and Dumbers valuation and are currently pulling away.

Think of all the work I've saved you there. You can cobble endless rumours out of all that and it can all be sourced to serious journalists and as such is all credible.

A little bit I heard about Rangers yesterday:
Murray pulled the plug on the Ellis deal for 2 reasons, MIH had a much improved financial year (not just rangers but his steel and property businesses) therefore allowing him to remain in control, not be forced to sell AND take Rangers forward (financially) something which Ellis was not in a position to do.
Lloyds TSN got an extra 12% holding in MIH a couple of months back for "dect owed" they now own a 25% stake in MIH, but their interest in gaining more control of MIH was more to stabilise the debts and have more of a say in the financial running of the businesses (therefore securing that debt would be repaid)
So overall at this moment, Rangers (despite their debt) are actually financially stable, for the time being

The deal with Conway is still on, expect a renewed bid for Tommy Smith, however with him at the WC, he might just be priced out of a move to Ibrox, also Ally M has identified 2 korean players that he wants to bring to Ibrox, i'm not saying that any offer/negotiations have started just that Ally is highly keen on 2 of them so expect bids made in near future.

Didn't really hear much about Celtic, pretty much the same stuff, Sol should be signing this week, along with at least 2 other players, not sure who, I know that's pretty vague, but that's all I was told, it's been a quiet week or so with Lennon away, but expect that to change this week.

COMMENT BELOW:

Blackpool FC Team 2010/11.
new signings

GK.
Matthew Gilks
Paul Rachubka (probably be sold)
Mark Halstead
Boas Myhill (maybe)

DF.
Seamus Coleman (season loan)
Kirk Broadfoot (375k?)
Stephen Crainey
Ian Evatt
Rob Edwards
Alex Baptiste
Neal Eardley
Ashley Eastham
Jack Cork (loan?)
Gary Kenneth
Sean Densmore (altrincham youngster)
Steve Finnan (free transfer)

MD.
Keith Southern
Charlie Adam
David Vaughan
George Boateng (free transfer)
Tom Cleverley (loan?)
Gary Taylor–Fletcher
Barry Bannan (loan?)
Stephen Husband
Robert Koren (free transfer)

FWD.
Sylvain Ebanks–Blake (rejoin Holloway)
Robbie Blake (free transfer)
Brett Ormerod
DJ Campbell (£1.5m)
Stephen Dobbie (400k)
Billy Clarke
Ben Burgess
Jason Euell
Danny Welbeck (loan?)
Derek Riordan

I don't think your far off, but i doubt Holloway will sign Boateng as he was less than impressed with his behaviour with regards to Phil Brown earlier in the year, and Holoway will be looking for players who show a little respect to their management.

Myhill and Welbeck also seem unlikley, as we don't need another GK as Holloway rates young Halstead and has tipped him to be a future No.1 and Welbeck wouldn't add much to the team IF DJ was to sign.

Ive also been assured Adomah will still be signing for Blackpool however most probably loaned straight back to a League 1/2 team. (Rochdale or Crewe)

My cousin is a steward at Elland Road and even though the season is over he still goes in to catch up with people who work there for a drink in bar etc.

He reckons (although he did admit he wasn't 100% with the I.D) that he saw O'Brien getting out a car and walking into Elland Road with a man in a suit.
Like I said he wasn't 100% but he said he was 6 foot plus, short dark hair and a sizable nose and looked like him.

Will have to wait and see on this one!

other possible in's:

Jack hobbs (1mil)
Lloyd sam (free)
Mark davies (loan) {editor's note – I very much doubt you would get Hobbs for 1mil, he wants to stay and challenge for promotion again next season. The only way he would move in the summer would be a prem team or a likely promotion challenger, though it would be more than a million.}

Leeds not looking at Sam, his to Similar to Gradel
Hobbs and Mark Davies, really?
and i don't know how many time it has been said on here BUT Leeds have never bidded for Billy Sharp.

Leeds to sign Darel Russell and Gary Mcsheffrey this week. Grayson also hoping to bring in 2 other players by July the 1st (CB and FW), his hoping to have his transfer in's dealings done by the time Leeds are back to pre–season training

Ok im new to this website and i see alot of rumours flying about. Id just like to throw my 2 cents in. Im just about to leave for work and i thought id check online bookies to see the latest odds for the next Liverpool manager and it seems they have stopped taking bets on Rafa's successor. Maybe a deal has been struck. Rumour is that Manuel Pelligrini will take the helm at Anfield. Lets see what develops in the next 12 hours.

william hill still have markets open so your lieing! hodgson 4/6 pelligrini 5/2 ( verdict editor?) {editor's note – the choice hasn't been made yet anyway, the only reason the odds dropped is because Pellegrini was interviewed, not because he was given the job.}

There are rumours in Spain that Gerrard is ready and waiting to be signed by Real Madrid, the only sticky point is Liverpool want 30m for him whereas Real Madrid will only pay 24m for him so a deal looks imminent to me as its just a mere 6m scuppering the deal, although you cannot rule out a Gerrard U–turn if his parents house gets vandalized again?

Alonso is part of the reason why Gerrard is going to Real Madrid so people must stop linking Alonso back to Liverpool, there is more chance of a Rafa return. Liverpool want Ireland to replace Gerrard but City are reluctant to do business with them as City have wanted Benayoun, Mascherano, Torres and Gerrard and failed to capture any of them.

Ed i keep hearing that Kenny wants Bent, Ireland, Richards & Wilson. First of all would he be in charge of transfers and if true are these guys not direct replacements for Torres, Gerrard & Johnson? I suppose Johnson could be moved to right wing? What do you think Ed? {editor's note – Gerrard hasn't decided what he wants to do yet, he is not going to decide till after England are out of the World Cup (so only another game to wait before he can sit down and discuss it with his family they!). But, if Kenny does get the job, he does have replacements in mind, just in case. I know he has sat down and discussed what he would do if he got the job, as have a couple of other managers, but no decision has yet been reached. They are taking their time about it, they know that the top players are not going to move while the World Cup is on, so they can afford to take their time. I just hope that the Capello rumours have no substance, only there was a whisper that Purslow was waiting in case England get booted and he gets sacked. I really hope that was wrong though!}

Doncaster are in deep talks with mellor they are trying to sort a fee out. Parkin is looking unlikely as he is a required member at PNE. Other donny news is that sharp is very unlikely as sheff utd are looking at a new bid from leeds. 3 more players have been approached by donny but the names that has been released are esajas and demerit. These two have been offered contracts at other clubs but both are considering offers from donny.

Billy sharp has been spotted outside elland road and is likely to complete his £1m move within this week.

other possible in's:

Jack hobbs (1mil)
Lloyd sam (free)
Mark davies (loan) {editor's note – I very much doubt you would get Hobbs for 1mil, he wants to stay and challenge for promotion again next season. The only way he would move in the summer would be a prem team or a likely promotion challenger, though it would be more than a million.}

Leeds DO NOT do deals at Elland Rd, Leeds do all the business at Thorp Arch

Leeds not looking at Sam, his to Similar to Gradel
Hobbs and Mark Davies, really?
and i don't know how many time it has been said on here BUT Leeds have never bidded for Billy Sharp.
his word 'i have never heard anything from Leeds about going there' Google it

Leeds to sign Darel Russell and Gary Mcsheffrey this week. Grayson also hoping to bring in 2 other players by July the 1st (CB and FW), his hoping to have his transfer in's dealings done by the time Leeds are back to pre–season training

they are looking at Andy O'Brien and Jason Robert on Both on Loan

Simon Grayson has told Alan Sheehan Andy Robinson and Lubo Michalick their future lies somewhere else and that their have been enquires for these 3 players. lufc website

I'd like this but don't expect Grayson to play 4–3–3.

That team is Rubbish, Becchio out wide in a front 3!!
expect it look a bit more like this

.Schmeichel
..Connolly O'Brien Kisnorbo Bessone
Snodgrass Kilkenny Russell Mcsheffrey
Becchio Sharp

Subs: Higgs. Bromby, Hughes, Howson, Johnson, Gradel, Paynter

players in
O'Brien 600k from Bolton

Michalik to Brighton, free
Somma to Lincoln 150k

Team rebuilding –Masc, Torres and Gerrard likely to be sold this summer. Even if they stay would need £100 million plus to break back into top 4. If they are sold, make that £250 million.

What a load of rubbish

Any Newcastle Transfer Rumours

never been anythink on really about newcastle

J.TOON {editor's note – I know you have made an enquiry to Fabio Aurelio's agent, just to ask what kind of wages he was after. I don't know if they are considering an offer or not, or what it signifies in terms of expected outs from the club. Are you short of cover on the left side? Or could Hughton be expecting to lose someone? Or it maybe just a back up plan in case something happens. Not so sure Newcastle would need him though, I would think you had enough of injury prone players on Tyneside!}

would not be a bad signing would be great but we do need cover on the left so that is what think it is

J.TOON {editor's note – I was wondering if it was a pointer towards the kind of players you are looking at, he would have been a good signing if kept fit though.}

– Owners want £600 – £800 million for their shares.
– Debts of £350 – £400 million.
– Club was losing £40 – £50 million a season even before they lost champions league and very poor last season.
– New Stadium – Estimated cost of 60,000 seater stadium in Stanley park £350 – £400 million, its a difficult build site surrounded by Terraced housing and park land. Costs could go higher.
– Team rebuilding –Masc, Torres and Gerrard likely to be sold this summer. Even if they stay would need £100 million plus to break back into top 4. If they are sold, make that £250 million.

So realistically you are looking at £1.6 billion to buy LFC, clear the debts, build the new ground and get the team back in the top 4 and competing at the top level in Europe.

LOSING THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MONEY IS DEVASTATING FOR LIVERPOOL, THEIR INTEREST PAYMENTS ARE 45M A YEAR PLUS THEY WILL LOSE BETWEEN 50–60M IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MONEY/TV MONEY. LIVERPOOL WILL MAKE A LOSS OF OVER 100M NEXT YEAR SO I CANNOT SEE ANYTHING OTHER THAN GERRARD, MASCH, BENAYOUN & POSSIBLY TORRES SOLD AND REPLACED BY MUCH CHEAPER PLAYERS, IF BARCA CAME IN WITH A 70M OFFER FOR TORRES, LIVERPOOL WILL HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO ACCEPT, THE ONLY SAVING GRACE FOR LIVERPOOL IS THAT BARCA MAY MESS LIVERPOOL AROUND BY OFFERING SILLY MONEY LIKE 40M, I THINK IF THIS HAPPENS LIVERPOOL WILL STOP ALL NEGOTIATIONS. IT WILL BE 60–70M OR NOTHING!

––––––––––––––––––

Disingenious accounting there camrade – sure you aren't in the Labour Party? The owners will settle the debt from the selling price. ie they wll walk away with 250M–plus net profit. The new stadium figure is initial outlay. The re–development of the Anfield site, a share of the admission revenue at the new site, the sale of site space to shopping/hotel/leisure inc hotel) to be co–located etc will pay that back over 2 decades tops (ie a 'mortgage').

Take naming rights for the stadium. If the name was sold to a corporation (like arsenal have done) that could raise 10M a year on it's own.

The problem is that no respective buyer thinks Dumb & Dumber should walk away with 250M net proft. A more realistic gigure would be 100M which in turn would lower the purchase price to 450M–500M

Arsenal line up next season (if all goes to Wenger's plan)

Adler
Sagna Koscielny Vermaelen Clichy
Song
Fabregas Cambiasso
RVP Chamakh Arshavin

Cole will rotate within the front three and Vela will get more time if he isn't loaned out.

Expect a fair few departures in the next few weeks as well with Eduardo, Rosicky and Denilson all subject of bids.

–In the know–

GOT TO DISAGREE WITH YOU MATE, CESC WILL HAVE TO LEAVE NOW HE HAS SAID HE WANTS TO GO, CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT HIS ATTITUDE WOULD BE AFTER ANOTHER HOME DEFEAT TO UNITED OR CHELSEA? ARSENAL WILL HAVE TO ACCEPT BARCA'S 40M FINAL OFFER. I SEE THE TEAM LINING UP LIKE THIS NEXT SEASON –

___________SCHWARZER
SAGNA_KOSCIELNY_VERMAELEN_CLICHY

________NASRI_______DIABY

CAMPBELL WILL STAY, CESC WILL BE REPLACED BY NASRI UNTIL RAMSEY REGAINS FULL FITNESS, CAMBIASSO DESPITE HIS AGE HAS AN 18 MILLION PRICE TAG SO HE WILL NOT BE PURCHASED. I agree i think Wenger will move up into the board room next year and pep gardiloa (spelling) has been linked to being wengers succesor over the season as wenger is the man being trusted to find his own replacement similar to when sir matt busby moved into the board at MUFC. pep himself has stated he does not expect to stay at Barca as he has won everything with them and wants a challange elsewere plus wenger has been sending recordings of arsenal trainning method's ect and invited pep to the emirates a few times. so if Wenger has persuded Fabregas to stay one more year and with pep turning his attention to Torres is it possible he thinks himself going to arsenal and hoping that his arrival would make Fabregas stay for many years as pep is Fabregas's idol stranger things have happened and the same is happening with real mourinho won't move for rooney as he wants him there for he thinks he will replace SAF remember this post

PS: J Cole for Arsenal

To all of you on here who post the absolutely ridiculous rumours about Liverpool Football Club please stop. All you are doing are making genuine fans wait for what is not going to happen.

I have tried many times to get people to read the truth and it is getting beyond a joke now.

The Club has not been sold and is unlikely to be so for at least 18 months. Tom Hicks is holding out for his £800 million sale price – He has already said in the Dallas press that he wants this to cover the bankruptcy of his Texas Team. The only thing the club is worried about at the moment getting the next major loan payment to RBS – due this Friday.

A new manager will in all probability be appointed after the world cup. There are initial interviews going on with 5 candidates at the moment. It is being done as a step by step process to ensure that the right man is chosen.

Regarding the transfers this summer – these will be done once a new manager is in place although he will only have £15 million to spend. All funds raised from sales are going straight to the banks.

20 Jun 2010 12:45:17

Comrades!!

Liverpool has not been sold so stop being silly. There may be a 'Memorandum Of Understanding' in place, or a 'Gentleman's Agreement' (watch either or both of these phrases appear in rumours now LOL), possibly even something pre–contractural awaiting clearance from the FA to go further, but it has not been sold. When it's sold contracts have to be exchanged, HMRC informed, every creditor and supplier, the players agents, the staff, etc etc and it has to be registered with the FA and to a greater or lesser degree with Companies House. It's also illegal to keep it secret – not that you would stand any chance with that many people having to be told !!

Manuel Pellegrini is now likely to take over as Liverpool manager next week with him convincing the owners that he will be able to lure Kaka away from the Bernebeau where he has struggled to settle since his big money move. Jose Mourinho would be interested in a swap deal for Steven Gerrard or whilst Fernando Torres would welcome the arrival of Kaka. Pellegrini is also confident of bringing in Dutch ace Rafael Van Der Vaart from Madrid and Philip Lahm from Bayern Munich.
With Gerrard likely to leave, he is also likely to be followed out of the Anfield exit door by Benayoun, Aquilani, Mascherano and Babel.

Fabio Aurelio is set to join French club Marseille on a 2 year deal with the option of an extra 1, if he plays 20 games in his second season.
The latest on what i've heard from Anfield is that Pelligirini is set for more talks on Monday, He said yesterday he would prefer another job in Spain, but went on to say there is no club like LFC, you would be stupid to turn that down. I think it will be a 1 year deal with an option to a future 2 years, this means that both parties are happy, If peligrini doesn't like England he can leave after a season, or if he is awful and unfortunately needs sacking, he wouldn't leak money out of the club. His main transfer target will be Alexis Sanchez of Udineise.

To the person that wrote.

To the very very deluded Gooner who states that Arsenal can sign Jagielka for £12 million, wake up! Everton got £24 million for Lescott last summer, therefore they'll want at least 28–30 for Jagielka. This market is inflated, Arsenal cannot afford Jagielka, don't be silly.

If your gonna quote prices, make them believable.

Im a Birmingham fan but thought id throw my view in on this 1.
Number 1 you where selling to Man City so ul always get more than what any1 is worth.
Number 2 is that Lescott had the season of his life at Everton and Jagielka was injuried for last year. I think 12 million is believable. {editor's note – Everton wouldn't sell Jagielka for 12mill, they don't want to lose him and he is their best defender.}

Hereford United are set to sign Millwall defender Andrew Frampton for a fee around £20,000.

The former Millwall player of the year is set to move to the whites for regular first team football after being told from Kenny Jackett that he isn't in Millwall's championship plans.

The deal could be finalised anytime within the next few weeks, with Kenny Jackett already looking for a new left sided defender.

Ipswich have bid £2m for Norwich's brightest prospect Korey Smith. Through one of the class teachers, she has told a number of parents that the MAWENE's were leaving and not coming back next year as their dad was moving to a new football club "down south" and they will be leaving the area towards the end of june.

More observations than rumours

Rangers
If Liverpool really wanted Wilson he would have went by now as he would be a squad player/reserve so don't think they would need to wait on a new manager
McArthur still has not left Hamilton even with a few English clubs wanting him – is he waiting for Rangers?
The rumours about Obertan coming to Ibrox on loan, would that not leave Man U short of wide players as they have sold Tosic? They need a big squad for all the games they (should) have.

As for Gattuso, I would love him to come 'home' to Ibrox and I have heard rumours that his wife is homesick before – also now safe to come back as his anoying sister in law is in America until GMTV sack her! – but I very much doubt it because we could only offer probably about £30k to £40k a week but you never know.

Celtic
If Sol Campbell has bought a house next to Alan Thompson, why has he not signed yet – waiting for Arsenal to offers 2 year contract?
If Celtic really want Stokes, why not offer Sheridan and Mizuno (sp) on loan, so if they do well they can be sold for more money.

For everyone that just makes up rubbish on here, if you want to that fine just at least have the decency to think it through rather than making yourself looking like a nob end!

Re daviebhoy, i think that you make this page worth reading alone, that aside i was talking to an ex player yesterday and he assured me that very seldom do managers take holidays as there is alot of behind the scenes work to do especially as the world cup is on. he also told me if he is in portugal it would be on business even though his family are there. i told him that lennon was on holiday in portugal n that was what he told me and as he almost signed for celtic at one point himself i have no reason to doubt it although i am not going to call you a liar because i do think you speak the most truth on this page that is what i am going to believe

Just reading the article on mcgeady deciding to leave celtic, in my opinion i think celtic are trying to cash in on mcgeady rather than him wanting to leave , good luck to him wherever he goes

celtic will bring in to the suad
sol campbell free– TRUE ! ( deffo, thommo let it slip that solhas bought a house in glasgow beside him)
keane or bellamy or owen on loan as the big signing lennon talked about – THE BIG SIGNING IS NONE OF THEM – FACT ( Who is the big signing then?? )
this is very true more 2 come
samaras fortunie will go SAMMY WILL LEAVE FORTUNE WILL STAY
mcgeady staying unless we get 12 mil or more IF WE GET OFFERED 9 M OR MORE LENNY WILL TAKE IT – DON'T BELIEVE THE PAPERS ABOUT 8.3M THAT HAS BEEN OFFERED, I KNOW LENNY HAS 12M, BUT TRUST ME, 9M AND HE'S OFFSKI ( I think McGeady is a cert to go with either Lawrence or McCormack being his natural replacement )
all this will happen soon
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

I've added my wee bit to the bottom, Daviebhoy is the only guy that seems to know truth about not just the Bhoys but Rangers aswell. Few wee points of my own, glad Sammi is leaving, I think Rogne will become a first team regular this season playing beside Campbell. Looking for McCourt to see alot more action this season, I'm a big fan of his. Hopefully a new left back will arrive if its mulgrew that's fine by me. A new striker is a necessity, hopefully a proven scorer. Other leavers I think will be Zhi, Hinkel, Loovens, Boruc, Sheridan, Caddis.

Big week this week for the bhoys.

Any Newcastle Transfer Rumours

never been anythink on really about newcastle

J.TOON {editor's note – I know you have made an enquiry to Fabio Aurelio's agent, just to ask what kind of wages he was after. I don't know if they are considering an offer or not, or what it signifies in terms of expected outs from the club. Are you short of cover on the left side? Or could Hughton be expecting to lose someone? Or it maybe just a back up plan in case something happens. Not so sure Newcastle would need him though, I would think you had enough of injury prone players on Tyneside!}

To the person who insisted Nicky Shorey is off to Bristol City – please can I have some of what you've been drinking?
If Forest get him that'll be a real coup as he'll demand at least £20k a week and is an England international who's used to playing in the Prem. Going to a club with money and ambition in the Championship that he loved playing with on loan and that finished 3rd last season. Well, it's not out of the realms of possibility.
Going to a fairly small mid–table Championship club with no way of matching his Villa wages and little chance of going to the Prem in the next couple of years – now that's over–optimism at the very least. Forest will be lucky to get him given the Prem interest but Bristol City are never going to get within a mile of him so don't waste your time suggesting it.

Ah. The recent Forest v City rivalry raises it's head. Last season was the best Forest season for years – relegation fodder before that and League one before that. Your best years are done mate and you are no better/worse than a lot of championship clubs. I speak for the division. As for us not in with a shout for Shorey, City have been in discussions with him and may or may not be successful, same for Kitson (although I don't think he's good enough). The money is there for these players having got rid of 9 and another 3 to go, plus the chairman isn't afraid of putting his money on the table and from what I've heard we are "competing well" for these calibre of players.

To the person who said this :
Leeds are only looking at bringing in 4 more players,
Beckford's replacement, centre midfielder, centre–back and a left midfielder
CB maybe O'Brien on Loan also looking at Sonko
CM Darel Russell to sign this week
ML Gary Mcsheffrey to also sign this week
FW, could be Hooper with rumour of Kandol plus 1.2m
Kandol has definitely sign for Scthorpe

Sonko will be going to Bristol City.
Daryl Russell is a probability (and a liability)
McSheffrey is crap
No chance of Hooper at all. Zilch, forget it.
Kandol ? crap so who cares ?

i didn't say Leeds have sign Sonko, just been looked at
Hooper is a possibility,
and because you think Mcsheffrey is crap and Russell is a liability does mean its not happening

has for the Kandol thing, this a transfer rumour site?

Bristol is not as big a club at the moment as forrest is right, but bristol is a much bigger city than nottingham in terms of mass and population and has the potential to be a big club. So to say the word small is a joke, Nottingham is tiny. The dave kitson deal is stalling as the 2 clubs can't agree on a fee and Manard will still be a city player next season.

This is all over RAWK and TIA,

Solid rumer. Thanks dude.

Ok let me say that the person he refers to is Sheikh Khalifa, the wealthier borther (yes i did say wealthier) of Man City owner Sheikh Mansour.

Sadly his bid was turned down (Hicks again) and won't be coming back with another bid as he believes the asking price is too much and won't be taken for a mug despite all the billions he has.

There is one offer as it stands on the table being considered, this is from India, rumoured to be Mukesh Ambani, the worlds 4th richest person with an estimated fortune of $29 billion.

With various backroom and medical staff set to leave the club on Monday it looks like a new manager is on his way, at present talks are on going with former Real Madrid manager Manuel Luis Pellegrini. Roy Hodgson is a back up plan by the way.

We have had too many false dawns in recent years with regards to ownership, this time it appears that things may, just may be moving towards a change.

First up to Daviebhoy – No idea if your info is genuine or not, but you certainly seem to know what you are on about. However there is one transfer that you are wrong about. At least wrong in one aspect. Sol Campbell has not agreed a deal with Celtic. He may very well end up at Celtic this summer (in fact I think he will), as he is very impressed with Lennon and you boys are offering stupid wages, but he definitely has not agreed a deal and it is no where near 100%. Campbell is waiting to talk to Wenger and see what Wenger's plans for him next season are. As it stands it is likely that Wenger will sign at least 2 cbs, which will push Campbell down to 4th or even 5th place, however if Arsenal only sign one player Campbell is interested in playing the same role as last season. Back up to the two main men. So whilst Campbell is a target for you guys, and you might very well get him, to suggest that it is a done deal is wrong.

Onto Arsenal and it's been a frustrating few weeks for Wenger. However it appears that his frustration and patience may be about to be rewarded. Koscielney looks set to sign soon for £9m, and will be first choice partner to Vermaelen. However Koscielney was not the first choice target, bids for Mertesacker, Cahill and Bruno Alves were all made and rejected, with the counter demands being deemed too high. Ventronghen of Ajax is a target as cover for both Song and the cbs but Arsenal have stalled on any possible deal after it has emerged that Cambiasso may be available on a cut–price deal (8m or so as in last year of contract) IF Inter Milan manage to sign Mascherano. With Sneijder guaranteed a starting berth at Inter, and their plethora of strikers, Inter will partner Masch and Sneijder in the midfield, giving Cambiasso the option to leave as he is not happy about a spot on the bench. This is the reason Arsenal have no interest in Yaya Toure being part of the Cesc Fabregas deal as they see Cambiasso as being the same type of player, for far less cash. Song will stay as dm but will give cover to the defence. Joe Cole will sign after the WC on £90k p/w plus incentives. Arsenal are also set to reignite their interest of last summer in Enyeama, Nigeria's keeper, after his excellent displays this WC, however number one target remains Rene Adler of Germany. Cesc Fabregas is now 50–50 to stay at the club, but Arsenal are sure that within the next month Barce will be back with a bid of £50m+, which they will have to accept. If he does go Arsenal will go after Ozil or Gourcuff. However Arsenal will not pay over the odds and if a deal can't be done Cole/Nasri will be slotted into that role.

News from South Wales

Lets get one thing cleared up. I understand the 'right club' for Pratley is Celtic and he will sign a pre contract agreement with them in January. Huw Jenkins demanding a sale now, and has been throwing his name to as many clubs as will listen. Celtic realise that they are very much in the driving seat. Rangel in talks with Burnley, and a prem club, believed to be Wigan.

Major news at Cardiff City where I understand that Sam Hammam is due to take up a senior position. Give this a few weeks before shooting me down in flames. No real news on the playing front. Burnleys bid for Whittngham was a one off, test the water offer. Cardiff have told them to come back if they DOUBLE their offer. Darren Dennehy will be going to Newport Co on a year long loan.

Chesterfield will announce the triple signings of –

Tresor Kandol, Lee Trundle and goalkeeper Rhys Evans.

John Sheridan is also looking for a mew center half, and two wingers, Joe Anyinsah, who has been released by Preston is one name being mentioned.

Chesterfield, Barrie Hubbard and Dave Allen hope these signings will put and keep bums on seats at the new B2net stadium next season and don't want any more years in league 2.

Already signed are Danny Whittaker from Oldham and Dwayne Mattis from Walsall, two outstanding midfielders for Lague 2.

Also, Derby are the latest team to show an interest in goalkeeper Tommy Lee, and are ready to make a double offer for Lee and Dan Gray. Lee as back up to Bywater and Gray as a very hot prospect. People saying Sheffield Wednesday are about to sign Tommy Lee are wide of the mark as Wednesday cannot deal with Chesterfield regarding transfers until Wednesday pay Dave Allen his loan back, which he gave before he left Wednesday.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––Tresor Kandol is going to Scthorpe
Lee Trundle going to Southampton

From an insider at the Emirates.

An inquest into the amount of injuries at Arsenal, plus the time they take to rectify has taken place. Many in the Arsenal set–up feel that although it is inevitable that a team takes injuries throughout a season, there are too many at Arsenal. Training methods and the treatment of injured players are the two areas under most scrutiny. I haven't been told of the results, but I would imagine if we see some backroom changes happening in the near future it would confirm that my souce is correct.

It's also been mentioned that next season could be Arsene's last as Manager before he moves (note: MOVES not GETS PUSHED) into a position upstairs. Nobody knows what 'the greatest conversation Cesc ever had' was, but it's felt that there's a distinct possibility that this was mentioned to Cesc in order to convince him to give Arsenal one final season before moving to Barca. If that's true it'd give Cesc a clear and sensible exit, plus would help any new manager the finances to bring in one or two players when he arrives.

My source is good and from waaaaay up high in the Emirates. I'm a Gooner myself and would rather Wenger (and Cesc) stayed for another five years, but it's going to happen at some point and this sounds plausible to me.

"To the person who said this:

Solomon Taiwo & Ade Akinfenwa to join Norwich City after the World Cup! Both are waiting until after Nigeria's progress is determined in the World Cup before signing as a move would keep them busy & miss their teams matches."

Neither of them are in or were ever likely to be Nigeria World Cup squad, so why would they care about Nigeria's progress in terms of agreeing new deals. Please stop talking out of your rear

he will leave ac milan after the world cup because he
is tired of the trophieless seasons and the situation that milan are in because their looking for a new to tylpe/explain it twice, but it's good from a Rangers point of view

Daviebhoy

You may well be right about Gattuso as his wife has wanted to come back to Scotland for a few years but as you will notice he hasn't played in the world cup because his knees are shot and would only play a small part as a sub. so would it be worth it ?

Harisayer {editor's note – would he not sell shirts by the bucketload? I mean, judging by doing this site, he seems to be a hero to Rangers fans, so I would expect them all to want his name on the back of their shirts. That might make it worthwhile, mightn't it?}

Liverpool manager news:
I'm writing to just point out that Roy Hodgson is NOT to be Liverpool manager, Hodgson was never Dalglish's choice which was why Kenny threw his name into the hat, feeling that he would do a better job easily, and Hodgson would only destroy the club further.
The new manager, as I believe it to be is Manuel Pellegrini, the former Real Madrid boss. He will cost the board nothing, unlike Hodgson who would cost around £3m and Pellegrini's wages isn't much higher than the demand of Hodgson.
I am also hearing that Kenny Dalglish will be Managing Director and will oversee any transfers Pellegrini makes, so he doesn't make silly decisions. He will only make suggestions to the manager though.
As for new owners, still hearing nothing. BIG rumours of a billionaire already bought us, but is nothing I have heard of other than a few untrustworthy websties. I am of the understanding that new owners have been chosen and will pump money into the club through H+G while still trying to sort things out with them. This way we can buy some good players to get back on track and people won't be expecting multi–millions for them and H+G can get around £600m for the club.

LIVERPOOL NEWS

I have it on got authority that no manager will be discussed or announced until after the World Cup.
The take over is still ongoing with Hicks being the sticking point. He is trying to get more than parties are willing to pay and Broughton is the man tasked with talking Hicks down to the realistic price the club should be sold for. Gillett is happy with the offer on the table.

My view not one that I have heard is that we need a man manager who loves attacking football. (Note to Editor – Laudrop is a great shout as is Rijkarrd. Other than those I would give King Kenny a go at the position. You never know he could be what we are looking for and with Roy Evans, Steve Nicole as his back up staff this could be a very interesting move if it happened.

As for the playing team I am sick of all the players we are being put with. If we sell sensibly and invest wisely then we don't need that much. Here is what I think should be done. ( Again my opinion only ) If we sell Mascha £25 million, Lucas £12 million, Kuyt £12 million and Benni £6 million that gives us £55 million plus what ever we have already to invest back into the squad. I would like to see James Millner bought for £24 million, Scott Parker £7.5 million, Stephen Warnock £4.5 million, M Ricards £7 million, VDV £15 million. My Team would look like this:

Reina

Richards Carra Agger Warnock

Parker Millner

Johnson Gerrard VDV

Torres

Bench:
Caveliri or other Keeper bought to replace.
Kelly
Ayala
Skrtel
Aquilani
Pacheco
Reira
Maxi
Lauri Dalla Valle
Ngog

I know that's a large bench I just wanted to show how I think we could improve the squad and with english players brought in who have played in the prem I think this would make LFC a better team next season.

What are your thoughts editor? {editor's note – I wouldn't have too many problems with that, apart from buying Richards when we have Kelly, who has far more potential imo. I would like to see him being a starter this season.}

Dont know exactly what it means but paddy power have stopped the market for the next liverpool manger!!

I think they have stopped all bets on next manager markets. When it didn't let me bet on next Liverpool manager , I tried Manchester United and Chelsea(Just to check it was working) and it woudn't let me bet on their next manager either. It could just be a problem with paddypower

This is my first ever post and would just like to say that some of the 'rumours' on here are beyond funny. i think a few ppl on here should become politicans or american football club owners with the amount of lies they come out with lol. ok i am not going to claim i know this person or that person cos i dont. my post is just an educated guess and observations.
So first off, just been checking out some of the betting sites and i firmly believe now that manuel pelligrini WILL become the next liverpool manager. like someone has already stated his odds have been slashed dramatically over the past week and its VERY VERY rare the bookies are wrong.
also i think mascherano is DEFINATELY gone, why would someone be taking a crash course in italian a week after their 'teacher' (his words) has become the new milan manager. not going to pretend i know how much he's going for but i think somewhere in the region of 25–30 mil.
Now the whole gerrard conundrum wil he go, wil he stay? honestly i don't think even he knows where he'll be next season and we'll all just have to wait until the world cup is over and all players get back to there respective clubs. personally i think he'll be at anfield next season mainly to see how things wil work out under a new manager. although if he does go (as gutter as i'll be) i can't help think it will be good business for liverpool. lets face we'd be looking at around 25–30 mil maybe more. now 25–30 mil for a 30+ player is pretty good business for any team and firmly believe liverpool have had by far the best years out of him. again i feel he'l be at anfield next season, but you never know.
Can people please STOP linking torres with the likes of madrid, inter, chelsea, man city and barca because 1. he's athletico through and through so theres madrid out of it 2. he has stated time and again he wil NOT play for another english side 3. inter probably could have signed him but then they go and appoint benitez as manager and don't think torres wil want to play for him again any time soon and 4. barca wil more than likely NOT bid for him as they've just signed david villa from valencia. with the likes of bojan, messi, ibrahimavic, pedro and now villa amongst others coming through the ranks i can't see them needing another striker.
The takeover? would love it if the people on here are right, and we have been taken over by some rich arab with deep pockets. but i don't know how with so many people that would be involved in something as big as a football club takeover how this could be kept quiet. surely something would have leaked by now.
Finally will liverpool supporters stop with the players coming and going WE HAVE NO MANAGER. no–one within the club will sign a player on the off chance the new manager doesn't rate them an therfor left on the bench. personally i think the only player/s going so far is mascherano and yossi. now that benitez is out the picture some player who were frozen out (to a certain extent) by benitez i.e. riera, babel, aqua, may be given another chance by the new manager (although reira can go to any club who will have him after what he said bout lfc). personally would love to see the likes of mata, elia, widjinaldum, affelay, ozil, or aguero. but we need money to sign players like these so until a takeover happens i can only see liverpool signing these players on my pro evo lol. plus would like to see more reserve players used next season, we have some quality players in the reserves but unfortunatley never got a look in under benitez.
so just to recap
pellegrini new lfc manager
mascherano..more than likely to go to inter
gerrard..big ????
torres..red shirt next season
players in..NO ONE KNOWS
takeover..AGAIN NO ONE KNOWS (anything for definate anyway)
other players out..just the usual speculated, babel, reira, yossi, lucas etc

so that's all folks

mr educated guess

as heard yesterday gennaro gattuso has hinted that
he will leave ac milan after the world cup because he
is tired of the trophieless seasons and the situation that milan are in because their looking for a new manager and as he mentioned before he WOULD return
to rangers one day and this summer could be this day
he will only leave for rangers or chelsea and rangers could have a great chance
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

Mate, I have a little bit of news I came across tonight, Not directly related to gattuso, but might give it HOPE, I'm not postin it tonight as there is too many numpties around and the guys who would appreciate it aren't about, and I can't be bothered to tylpe/explain it twice, but it's good from a Rangers point of view

To the person who insisted Nicky Shorey is off to Bristol City – please can I have some of what you've been drinking?
If Forest get him that'll be a real coup as he'll demand at least £20k a week and is an England international who's used to playing in the Prem. Going to a club with money and ambition in the Championship that he loved playing with on loan and that finished 3rd last season..

In response to :

Saf is so impressed with some of the scout reports coming back from the world cup that he is completing a u turn on his admission that there may be no more signings this summer. some players catching the eye and will be watched further in the tournament are ozil, sanchez, berrera, dos santos, muller, neur and gervinho. it is well known united are looking for creative players that can score their share of goals. something that was clearly missed after ronaldo's departure.

What is the basis for this statement. Do you know something we dont? where did you get your info from or is it just your opinion?

Shorey Pratley and Whittingham have all signed will be announced sometime in the next 2 weeks to persuade people to buy season tickets also charlie austin has been in talks and is all set to come to the CG and the swindown friendly is part of that deal don't forget who said this first !

REDRose

I have no idea about Pratley and Whittingham and even less interest – Whittingham has had just one good season amongst years of mediocrity. You are welcome to them. But you aint getting Shorey, that's a fact. He's going to Bristol City.

Mate I would like it if it's true, but I doubt Mulgrew, also, Lenny has JUST got back from portugal, so I doubt very much his Golf Instructor was high on his call list when he got back. and the Alfred N'Diaye story was in the Record today, take it with a pinch of salt

You have heard it all before i know.if whittingham agrees terms with forest earnie will rejoin cardiff in a swap deal with 400k going to cardiff.this will allow mccormack to leave as cardiff will have sufficent strikers. celtic want mccormack but cardiff will not sell for anything less than 2.5m.celtic have offered 1m. chopra will not be leaving despite interest from ipswich and ajax.

Chopra and Whittingham will be gone by 1st July, but not for the sort of money being bandied around on here. Cardiff need the money and they're in no position to play hard ball over the the transfer fees. If Celtic want McCormack, they'll get him as he's not worth more than 1m and come the end of the month Cardiff will be desparate to sell.

Tresor Kandol, Lee Trundle and goalkeeper Rhys Evans.

John Sheridan is also looking for a mew center half, and two wingers, Joe Anyinsah, who has been released by Preston is one name being mentioned.

If you get Trundle, you are in for a treat. Anyinsah is not quite the finished article but aint that far away, he'll do well for you if you get him. Evans is also a decent keeper. Get those three and a couple of other equally decent signings and you'll have a good season.

Bristol City in talks with Kitson of Stoke but are struggling to agree terms. If talks fail then Sheffield Uniteds Henderson will be approached.
City have also approached sttu but he fancied a move abroad, he then decided that he would prefer to stay in England. City will not approach him again and will instead look at Ibrahim Sonko.

Unfortunately, the Kitson rumour is true – City are after him, God knows why. Sonko is a done deal which is a much better acquisition. Henderson ? Rather him than Kitson.

Sure is mate.

We have a meeting arrangd with Tony Capaldi next week, nothing concrete just to see what sort of deal he would be looking for.

As for striker Trolls has money to spend and it looks at Will Hoskins at Watford, going to see how much they want, if it's too much then they are look at James Constable from Oxford.

Nothing on the centre back yet but we have a numer of meetings next week, expect to hear from me then!!

UP THE GAS
–––––––
Thanks for getting back to me mate.

Will Hoskins is out of contract, will that help our chances with him?

And how likely is it for Barry Hayles to join us as a coach mate, because it's exactly what we need!

Keep me up to date if you can mate! Much appreciated!
