I just want to clear something up- liverpool will not be signing any wingers! Why would benitez buy so soon when he spent 10 million on gonzalez and pennant and they have had only had 5 months to impress? Don't forget that harry kewell will be back from injury in january and gerarrd will probably be put back out right when sissoko comes back. Just for the record, i think he should be in the centre. Benitez has expressed an interest in Southamptons's Gareth Bale and will try to find loan clubs for palleta and guthrie(maybe southampton if a deal for bale is agreed). I have also heard a very interesting rumour linking zlatan ibrahimovic with arsenal. He has struggled to settle at inter and Arsenal usualy sign people in january even if wenger says they won't. Barcelona are said to be interested too.

Greg Halford will sign for Reading in january after the clubs seem to have struck a deal.
This is only me putting 2 and 2 together, but whilst on the train to London yesterday, I over heard a guy on his mobile. Colchester won't accept less than £1.5 up front and add ons later. Or Halls as part of the deal.
Now, Reading are APPARENTLY interested in Halford, and have a right back called Halls.
We shall see.
Fair enough huntelaar will not join newcastle neither will neill but i have no idea where that scaving attack came from. which team the guy supported, obvious he didnt say because he is ashamed. probly a chelsea fan.

james beattie might come to newcastle, but the fee will be minimal and just look at what roeder got out of king sib.
also paying over the odds for rubbish players. we have done that, but that just shows the guts that we have up north, you can't deny, some of our recent years signings have been great, and good value, bar luque and boumsong, look at n'zogbia, milner, parker, duff, krul. and our youth team is a great team, with much potential. look at new players coming through, ramage huntington taylor o'brien carroll pattison among others.

Miroslav Klose is not happy with Bremen's exit from the Champs League, he feels that a move to England will suit his game more than Italy. Wenger is looking at him after 1st hand reports from Lehmann, who himself has stated on RTL that he is settled in London and doesn't see a move happening. Wenger doesn't have many other options either with no money available. Heard he looked at Weidenfeller, not a patch on Lehmann, have seen him make several mistakes this season, weak link in a bad season for BVB.

I believe there may be a possibility of Nedved coming to Manchester United in January. Fits with the criteria Ferguson is etting at present - experienced, free, up for a new challenge and eligible for the Champion's League. Watch out for this one.
Jermaine Defoe flew into Mankchester airport last week on a private jet and was collected by Manure's chauffeur. Looks like Fergie has got even more money to spend in Jan than we thought!
Rangers are looking to sign a commmanding cb in the january transfer window, to play alongside the raw svensson. Possible targets include celtic-linked Danny Shittu and a shock return for Craig Moore. Apparently Rangers have been offered and knocked back David Weir of Everton, though no official announcement was made by either club as to why Everton are looking to offload him. Rangers will also knock back a deal from Newcastle for Chris Burke. At this stage in his career he needs regular top level games, not relegation dog fights and the 'mighty' inter toto cup. Newcastle to sign a 3 legged donkey subject to a fitness test, if not, expect a move for Bobo Balde of celtic. Either way an over inflated transfer and wage package shall be offered to form a cb partnership with Titus Bramble
To the guy who asked."why does everyone keep saying Fletcher to leave United"?. .The answer is quite simply because he aren't good enough. Fletcher tries hard, but you actually need some ability. Running around like a headless chicken will never win you anything. fletcher is not battling scholes for his shirt. .you numpty. Fletcher has been at OT for years and still failed to impress consistantly. A good five minutes here or there is not good enough. Silvestre will actually go to Spain, Oshea/Brown to Bolton. Fletcher back to Scotland. If United can drop world class players like RVN / Stam / Becks, then i think its about time Fletcher moved on, he doesn't bring much to a game except lack of pace, but he's got that in abundance.
I have a mate who works in finance and is quite high up at Coopers & Lybrand. The whisper going round is that DIC are prepared to speculate to accumulate and have earmarked as much as £300m over the next four transfer windows. people saying that LFC won't have that much money to spend on players are clueless, DIC want LFC to be the biggest club in the World as they way they will benefit hugley from merchandising and they believ the only way they can do this is to be at the top of the pile. They will back Rafa and so far this is who I've heard is being lined up:
Alves £11m, Simao £11m, Vicente £6m, Richard £6.5m, Torres £25m, Neill £2m and Nesta on a free.
These will be completed by the end of the Summer with Crouch, Zenden and Kewell being shown the door

Celtic will look to have major team reshaping in the coming months with Zurawski, Jarosik and Gravasen moving on as they havn't lived up to their potential. Several English premiesrship teams and championship teams will be interested in the trio as they still have decent reputations.
Pearson and Balde will probably move on and Maloney, Telfer and Lennon are all out of Contract.
Boruc's agent is engineering a move to either Arsenal or Manchester United, big Celtic will want inxs of 5million for him.
Strachan will look to bring in more top scotish talent, Brown, Thomson, Whittiker, Fletcher (HIBS) Hartley, Gordon (HEARTS) Goodwillie (DUNDEE UTD) Dixon, McDonald (DUNDEE) Anderson (ABERDEEN) Naismith (KIMARNOCK) and Kerr (Motherwell) have all impressed Celtic and their home scouts, Tony Stokes (Falkirk/Arsenal), Julien Brellier (Hearts) and Guilerme Buezilin (Hibs)have also done very well of late and are possible targets.

To the arsenal fan who reckons aliadiare is coming to west ham. He was rubbish last time we had him so why would we take him again? plus why would we want another second rate striker??? Aliadiare won't be coming but excpect Darren bent to be claret and blue come febuary.
Athletic Bilbao are looking at Middlesborough's Basque midfielder Gaixia Mendieta. He will be willing to leave as he wants a move back to Spain and Middlesborough will let him go for either nothing or a token fee as he is a high earner. Expect him to add experience to the midfield alongside fellow new boy Ivan Campo (as I previously said),Orbaiz and the wonderkid Javi Martinez (who himself is attracting the attention of major clubs).
The reason Crouch wouldn't play for Arsenal is because he is english. With Walcott and Hoyte on the fringes of the team, Arsene couldn't manage another englishman. Viera is NOT moving to Old Trafford, neither is Nedved. Hargreaves may, but only in the summer. M Richards will stay at City till the end of the season at least.
You Man U fans are seriously deluded! You're in debt, so you're not signing anyone else in January. Liverpool will sign Lucas Neill sadly. Probably no one else, maybe a central midfielder as cover for momo, but only if Rafa can find a cheap option. Crouch will stay and fight for his position.
Celtic transfer movement over the next 6 months.
January,
Pearson and Thompson will definatelly be leaving the club in January. Pearson can take his pick of top Championchip clubs should a bid of £1m be forthcoming. Thompson can go to similar clubs for a nominal fee.
Balde has an opportunity of leaving, should a worthwhile bid be recieved (around the £2m mark), you guessed it! Villa are frontrunners for his signature! Riordan can leave on loan, should Shaun Maloney agree to stay at the club (unless a £2m+ bid is offered) Malone will either sign a new deal or be sold.
Incoming, could be Ukranian Cousins, Andry Voronin and Anatoly Tymoschyk. Voronin will be avalable for a nominal fee due to his contracy expiry in june 07, whilst Tymoschyk would be avalable for £2-3m having fallen out with current club Shaktar. Although Tymoschyk would be ineligable for the Champs Lg, he is the long term successor to Neil Lennon.
Pressley is likely to sign in Jan untill the end of the season with an option of annother year, activated upon achieving a certain number of first team starts. Stokes is a possibility, although more so in the summer. Pre-contracts will be offered to Sylvain Distain, Timo Hildebrand, David Beckham and Michel Kadelec.
Summer
Lennon, Telfer will leave upon the expiery of their contracts.
Balde will leave is he is still at the club.
Zurawski and Jarosik could go if good offers are made, although Jarosik will probbably not go. Zuraw can go if £1.5m is offered.
Key men Boruc and Nakamura will stay unless silly money is offered (£7m for Boruc and £8m for Nakamura).
Incoming, Tompson and Brown from Hibs are possible, although it is more likely that one will arrive with Craig Beattie departing as a makeweight.
Huntelaar, whilst possible is unlikely due to demand from top clubs. Czech youth internationals Jan Hable and Radim Mokrohajsky will arrive for around 500k. Those who agree to pre-contract signings will arive. Offers for Alex, now of PSV and Tomas Sivok could be made dependant on developments.
In january Celtic definately want to sign Steven Pressley, James Beattie and Sharlie Joseph. James Beattie would cost around 3M + a player, possibly Bobo Balde, Pressley would sign for free and Sharlie Joseph would only cost around 800K and both Beattie and Joseph would be eligable to play in the champions league.
Celtic also hope to sign David Beckham and Andriy Voronin on pre contract deals, and Celtic will definatley make bids for Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Freddy Adu, Curtis Davies, Zdenek Grygera, Kevin Thompson and Anthony Stokes in the summer.
Alan Thompson and Stephen Pearson will be the only player leaving in january but Celtic will sell Boruc if they recieve offers of 5M+ in the summer with Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal keeping a close eye on his performances, Nakamura will move to spain in the summer and Celtic should recieve a Fee of around 4M after his displays in this seasons champions league, Zurawski will also be moving on in the summer with intrest from England, Italy and Germany so Celtic should recoup most of the 2M they paid for him. Stephen Pearson could be on his way to Hearts in exchange for Paul Hartley as both players are valued at 1M by thier clubs.
