Rangers Do not expect to see any signings at the blue gates of ibrox, regardless of what other people are say – as ragers are struggling to move anyone out the door and with others such as Hemdami, Daily and Adam sitting tight on a nice little wage per week. Even if players are shifted out, youngsters Arron, Fleck and Efrem are set to play more in the second half of the season, also expect to see Webster slowly being put into the back line, now that he has lost over a stone in weight and can now move his own body weight, smith and mccoist see no reason to bring in another center half unless bougherra move on which is unlikley as he doesn't want to risk his chances of international call ups.

Have heard from a very reliable source Bristol City are currently ( at very early stage) in talks with Kevin Phillips of Birmingham City.
John Carew will not be moving this January people, stop linking him to Everton. The man is injured and will be all throughout the rest of January and probably a while after too. Ergo he would fail any medical. Okay?
I keep hearing things about Diego Forlan and Villa although this may just be an older rumour re–dug up for the sake of it.
MON will more likely be looking at players like McGeady, Giles Barnes etc and of course that much needed centre forward. Expect one of Emile Heskey or Kevin Doyle to sign on January 31st.

I've just had word from my brother, who works as an IT technician at the Emirates, that Andrei Arshavin's Arsenal will in fact go through in the next 48 hours, contrary to media reports suggesting the move will fall through.
Zenit have settled for a fee of £12m rising to a possible £16m depending on appearances made and goals scored.
90% sure this is true as my brother has filled me in on possible deals before which went on to go through.

Goalkeeper; Wenger wasn't looking for a goalkeeper but has heard that McGregor of rangers may be available for 5.5million and so may make a move for him, if this fails no alternative will be looked at.
Defence; At center half is being looked at, players mentioned have been, Alex(scolari wants money to buy a striker),Richards (potential swap with Gallas plus cash going to city), Zapata or Upson.
Midfield; If Arshavin can't be brought wenger will step up his bid for Arteta as he's slightly younger than arshavin and wenger thinks he's more worth 17million than arshavin.
The second midfielder will be a defensive one names are Cana, Barry or alonso however these moves won't happen until the summer unless any of these players are available for very little which is unlikely.
There may be a loan move for a striker otherwise wenger will wait to the end of the season to see how adebayor does.

Carlos Vela is being strongly linked with a loan move to celtic until the end of the season. Scott Brown is also expected to move to portsmouth next week
Christian Poulsen should be signing for Pompey on loan with a view to a £5million summer deal this week. This move could even go through by tomorrow when this goes up. Poulsen is believed to be struggling to settle in at Juve after making a handful of appearances and struggling to make it back in to the team after an injury.
Loan deal for Pennant has gone through, he wouldnt sign a permanent deal as he wanted to weigh up his options when his contract expires at the end of the season. Play Up Pompey!
Hearts are to sell Bruno Aguiar to Porto FC for £4Million once he's signed a new contract. Bruno has agreed to sign a new contract with Hearts due to the loyalty shown to him by the club since his injury.
Hearts now seem to cash in on his loyalty by selling him, which is his wish too.

Everton FC Defender Lescott is rumoured to be in talks with Tottenham FC according to various websites. He was at Tottenham`s white hart lane ground on Monday according to articles I have read. We will have to wait and see if theirs any truth to it. Could be that everton may need the cash. And Harry Redknapp is looking to bolster he`s Defence and a transfer fee in the region of £15 million should secure the deal. From– Daniel.

Some more news about the Norwich City manager situation. I was the one that broke the news some time ago about the board's impatience with Roeder's antics and the fact that his reign was nearing the end, which Neil Doncaster has kindly confirmed, so believe me.
Firstly, all of this talk about a change of ownership is just not true. Delia and co are going nowhere for the time being. However, there may be some new money, but I'm not certain.
As far as the manager race is concerned. There will be no surprise. The board have learned their lessons from the past and will not appoint from within and will appoint a manager with some pedigree and a manager who the fans will 'like' from the off. At this moment in time no decision has been taken, but it is likely to be one of the names that has been widely bandied around.
Sorry, no concrete news, as there is nothing concrete to say.

Everton don't have huge money to spend in January, any major signings will be loan deals. Their only permanent signing will be Seamus Coleman from Sligo Rovers for a structured deal starting at £500,000. Moyes top loan target is Pavel Pogrebnyak, with a view to sign permanently in the summer.
Funds are likely to be tight in the summer aswell, but Moyes has identified the following as his ideal recruits:
Lorik Cana – £6m
Pavel Pogrebnyak – £8m (if he signs on loan and then impresses)
Mark van Bommel – Bosman

I have with 100% honesty and reliability the outcome of the West Ham/ Jealous Sh!tfield United affair! What will happen is that West Ham United have to pay a sum of £35million to Sh!itfield United. HOWEVER, a suprising agreement reached by both sides (suprising for Sh!tfield to agree to it tbh) is that the money will be £3.5 mil per season over the next ten seasons, taking into account inflation etc. This sounds mad but if you think about it it makes sense, Sh!tfield know that West Ham (and probably any other club bar city/cfc) could not afford to pay the one lump sum, and so the case could have wrangled on and on. Also recieving the substancial chunk of £3.5 mil each season ensures financial stability for a small club that are don't look like promotion material.
In the next few days expect an announcement that both parties have reached an ammicable out of court settlement for West Ham to pay in installments. MARK MY WORDS THIS IS 100& FACT.

No more business happening at anfield in Jan, Pennant gone to Pompey on loan and will be out of contract in the summer, looks like liverpool received a decent loan fee otherwise rafa would have given him a couple of minutes for 15 games to trigger his 1yr contract extention so not to loose him for free in the summer.

I have good connections at Ibrox which reveal that Allan McGregor will be sold to Newcastle for £5 million as they need a replacement for the outgoing Shay Given. Replacement will be young goalkeeper Andrew Duncan of Stirling Albion, experienced at all levels of play. A very fitting replacement for any goalkeeper!

Aberdeen's Scott Severin and Lee Miller are going to sign for Forest by the end of the week for a combined fee of £1.2million.

I am not a cousin of any footballer or my mother doesn't work in the cafeteria of any stadium these are simply rumours which i have heard through the grapevine. Arsenal look to sign Arshavin along with Niko Kranjer of Portsmouth, Kranjer however will not join until the summer when Arsene will play Walcott in a strikers role. Now Bellamy has joined City they will offload Jo to Spain and Vassell to a championship side. Man Utd will not make any more signings as their squad is at its full size says Alex Ferguson and Liverpool may sign maybe a striker with Robbie Keane playing shi. Possibly Kanoute of Seville as he was a great goal scorer when with west ham! West Ham will look to take on Saviola to play along side Carlton Cole up front who has been in great form. Arsenal are also intrested in signing Mark Beevers from Sheff Wed as he is a big strong centre back and most important is that he i s English Arsene needs to breed some English talent.
