Lewis Buxton will sign a new 2-year-deal with Sheff Wed if they stay up, whilst another deal at Hillsborough is for an un-named Championship striker, believed to be out of favour Hull striker Aaron McLean.

22 Apr 2013 23:34:32
Cardiff - Kevin Mcnaughton not to be offered new contract with Cardiff with both Derby and sheff wed interested and already spoke to his agent.
Cardiff - are looking into the possibility of a £5 million double swoop for dundee united pair johnny russell and mackay-steven.
Dundee united to offer sandaza a 6 month contract and make a wishful bid for noel hunt.

Liverpool will look at celtic pair wanyama and hooper probably the most likely to get the pair for playing reasonings

Norwich to go for agbonlahor or wiesmen of villa and a possible switch deal between the two clubs for hutton and martin with a small amount of cash going to norwich

Weimann too good for Norwich and gabby is villa through and through

Norwich would never sell a first team player to villa. Martin is too good for them.

weimann is their only player I would take for Norwich, and could see it if they go down (which is a possibility, it could come down to the last day v wigan. ) {Ed034's Note - what a strange statement to make. Of course they would, if villa offered the right deal

Noel hunt going to brighton

If wiemann leaves villa he will go to a top 8 team, not norwich

Norwich won't be far from top 8 next year and will take who they want from villa when we send them to the championship

Doubt there would be a deal between Aston Villa and Norwich too soon.

As a Norwich fan I would like to apologise for comments such as "Norwich won't be far from top 8 next year and will take who they want from villa when we send them to the championship".
We'll buy who we can afford, Villa even in the championship ARE a bigger club than us.

As a Norwich fan there are several players I would love to see us sign from Villa. Who wouldn't take Benteke? Lowton is a good but came to Prem League a season too soon. Westwood will come good given time. They have talent they just didn't put it together. I would rather see them down because next season they will put it together.

24 Apr 2013 00:05:23
"Weimann too good for Norwich and gabby is villa through and through" that's absolutely rubbish, Weimann isn't anywhere near a top 6 team player yet norwich would be the perfect move for him should villa go down. and gabby has already said he wants to stay in the perm regardless.

Lowton and westwood could probably use a season in the championship so there goes that.
benteke will command a 12m+ value, but AW will only be around 5-7.

and who brought up club size? me thinks there's a Vile fan pretending to be something he's not.

and RE martin again - he has a good chance of being captain next season. can't see him leaving at all.

ED - I highly doubt it with all the legal shenanigans that's gone on between them and lambert/villa
+ I Can't see villla having the money to make the right offer for martin {Ed034's Note - there will be nothing legal in place which will say villa cannot bid for players, the only thing that might be is a gentleman's agreement.
you are right with regards to the money but if they did have it, I am sure that Norwich would look at it as they would any other offer

Seem to be confusing Chris Martin who will probably go to Derby at end of season and Russ Martin who will, I think, stay at NCFC - possibly as club captain.

22 Apr 2013 23:26:26
West Brom looking to hijack any potential Norwich City deal for Kei Kamara.

It is in his loan contract that Norwich have the option to sign him before anyone (Which is the whole point of a Loan with a View to buy)

do some research before posting these rumours. Norwich have first option of buying for a pre-agreed fee of $2m USD

23 Apr 2013 08:29:17
That may be the case, still doesn't mean other teams can't make an offer.

Other teams can offer but it wouldn't be a hijack, would it?
they would only be accepted if Norwich said they didn't want him, and considering he has been involved in something like 7 out of their last 8 goals, I can't see that happening.

Do you know anything about football
the player will join the club that offers him the best terms everytime,
if that's norwtch, fine, if not its goodbye.

Burak Yilmaz heading for Swansea in summer transfer, as manager is his boyhood idol, snubbing interest from both Arsenal & Liverpool in the process

Where does he come from

He is from Galatasaray SK. Would be a sensational signing for Swansea if true. 8 goals in 9 Champions Leagues apps.

The most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Wanted by Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, why on earth would he come here. Secondly, Galatasaray have an asking price of 21m, which we cannot afford. The 21m price tag also shows that he is currently on a massive salary.

^a clubs asking price for a player has nothing to do with his wage!

His price tag is no where near 21m more like 10m

22 Apr 2013 23:19:29
Chris Baird, Alex Pearce and Franco Di Santo to sign for West Brom on free transfers.

Exciting signings, wow

22 Apr 2013 23:15:47
Bristol City's Sam Baldock attracting interest from Burnley, Bournemouth, Blackpool and Leeds.

How many players does Clough have to sign until he gets it right

Sam is being courted by Sam Rush, CEO at Derby County as he is on cloughie's striking wish list!

24 Apr 2013 01:59:52
Don't get to carried away by the prospect of summer signings at Leeds. Been to high hopes in the past to even start getting excited. But personally I am happy with BMD as manger and the footballing style he wishes to implement. If we can keep McCormack, byram, lees, diouf, Varney (been playing well of late) and add more technical players to the team like.

1. La fondre -similiar to McCormack. Them 2 in the same team :-]

2. Craig Dawson west brom CB. Seems a good prospect.

3. Crystal palace left back can't think of his name but seems a really top player can attack aswell as defend. ( if i'm thinking of the right player).

4. tom ince - but i'm dreaming. Cost way too much

5. Tarrabt from QPR as they are down this year but the wages would be to much again I feel so again i'm possibly dreaming.

anyone think of a playmaker in the middle of the park that could play alongside ruddy?. {Ed034's Note - I love the fact you said not to get carried away and then gave that list of players lol

I think the Palace left back you are thinking of is Jonathan Parr?

Otherwise it is Dean Moxey, which I doubt haha.

Parr is a good palyer

This is about 20 million quids worth of the most sought after players in English football.

Leeds fans in cloud cuckoo land again.

Its that time of year I suppose.

24 Apr 2013 21:10:38
Yeah parr that's him, be a good signing. Like the rest of us I hope we do get a fair chunk of cash to spend and I think the names I have mentioned are all gettable apart from ince and maybe Tarrabt. We do need a ball player in the middle of the park aswell as a pacey winger which I can bet McDermott will be getting just from the way he like his teams to play.

McDermott has a point to prove and I like all that he is saying at the moment. Seems a real genuine nice guy.

22 Apr 2013 23:13:16
Scott McDonald to sign for Bournemouth.

Hope not he would demand big wages like min of 10k a week we don't need him rather vokes

22 Apr 2013 23:11:28
Zoumana Bakayogo to sign for Derby. {Ed034's Note - you have added five separate posts. To let us know about various signings to clubs. If you could put them all on one post, that would be helpful, thanks

22 Apr 2013 23:06:49
Oil billionaire Saad Hariri is considering buying Bristol rovers

23 Apr 2013 22:06:14
Heard this from someone else as well interesting!

Complete tosh!

Hariri's advisors are confused by Bristol Rovers plan to employ an assistant manager with no experience or qualifications and a former non league coach currently working part time for Exeter City.

They are recommending the Billionaire businessman should open negotiations with Matthew Benham at Brentford who has demonstrated he has the knowledge and vision necessary for a successful football club turnaround and new stadium development.

22 Apr 2013 22:11:51
For Exeter fans news coming out of Exeter is that bauza is leaving, gow is staying and Cureton looks like he's leaving for Bristol rovers.

Gow's under contract for another year but agree on the other two.

23 Apr 2013 07:42:04
Yeah gow has one more year lef but manger pt is not happy with work from bauza and Cureton I don't know cause they may not be able to afford his wages.

. how has curo done for you towards the last part of the season? seems to me he's had a good start but a quiet ending, would rather we get a young and pacy attacker if i'm honest.

Quality from the bench regardless of his age and would be great to have another bristol boy in and around the squad! Swap for Gill

Swap for gill you joking don't think so!

Nathan - Jamie is out of contract so we don't actually need to give you Gill, but we would anyway - worst signing in Years!.

22 Apr 2013 21:25:15
Matt Ritchie is going to Sunderland to link back up with Di Canio for £3million. Bournemouth make £2.5 million but some will go to Swindon. Hopefully will give Fraser a chance but think we can use the money to build a squad capable of finishing mid table

23 Apr 2013 03:19:42
Im a swindon fan mat richie is not a premiership player he could be a championship but he is not premiership class and that is not sour grapes

Totally agree. Will be good to see how Matt fares next season first.

Surely if di canio said he was worth 2 million in league 1 now were championship it's got to be double or more like 5m

5m nothing less

Total BS, Ritchie is a very very good player, outstanding in league 1 and 2, but he needs a year or two in the championship before prem league, I feel he could be one of those great lower league players who won't ever make the prem.

Ritchie has stepped up another level since leaving Swindon but not sure if he's ready for prem. I'm sure Bournemouth would be very interested in making a quick profit though

No, Ritchie was already that good at Swindon, you were just too one-eyed to see it!

22 Apr 2013 21:04:08
City to sign Chris Zebrowski from Eastleigh on a free. Has roots in the Westcountry and is keen to play pro football again since his release from Cheltenham. City are also in talks with Guy Branston who is currently on a short term deal at Plymouth but has impressed since January. Both are on available on free transfers and are part of City's wage restructuring for League 1. Both also offer experience for what is likely to be a youthful squad next season.

23 Apr 2013 10:55:18
lets make sure that sheridan signs a new deal before we start throwing names around.

he knows what he wants from his player and he more than often get its

onwards and upwards

Manchester city won't want Zebrowski, oh maybe its York City, or exeter city, maybe we just aren't psychic

Which city

Bristol city!

It does hint by saying westcountry.

Yeah westcountry, Exeter, Bristol and with the players you are mentioning there is no reason that it couldn't be Truro City!

Its obvious it is Bristol City and Guy Branston has been superb since he joined us at Argyle. Would be sad to see him leave. The sort of player you need in the trenches when times are tough.

Zebroskis over rated he's not even that good

22 Apr 2013 21:33:00
Sam Rush confirmed to BBC's Late Kick Off that Derby will back Nigel Clough with 6 new signings this summer, including 2 strikers, 2 midfielders and 2 defenders.

Loanies Craig Forsyth and Chris Martin have deals in the pipeline.

Other players wanted by Clough include Alex Baptise, Simeon Jackson and Martin Waghorn

Sam Rush wants to use the loan market more.

Thats all I know I'm afraid, but will post more when I find out more

That's 3 strikers?

23 Apr 2013 14:14:42
six new signings. like last year one experienced defender, midfield and attack and three young guns to support the development squad.

Cloughie interested in Sam Baldock, Michael Chopra or Kevin Davies up front,

Eustace for defensive midfield berth and defensive with Baptiste or Gary Monk

three 'inexperienced' players include Forsyth, Billy Kee and Dawson of leeds.

get those and great job done all round!"!

24 Apr 2013 14:50:36
Certainly can see the last three coming in, Forsyth who will go back to Watford to supplement their play-off squad, will be available in the summer and Dawson of Leeds will recognise that Derby will give him more chances of playing regularly.

Billy Kee would be a great bargain buy, good goals to game ratio and not afraid to put his head in where it hurts (personally think he is better than Sammon having watched much of BA this season).

Isn't Robinson coming back pre-season though? still one of the top scorers at club last two seasons and Cloughie won't let him go for peanuts.

Prefer Monk to Baptiste but can we match his wages? Eustace, solid player but maybe past it by now

22 Apr 2013 20:54:04
Sean O'Driscoll has held talks with a number of players about extending or not extending some contracts who are running out in the summer.
Influencal midfielder Marvin Elliott will be released as a free agent once July comes.
Another player in Tom Heaton is also set to leave the club. City's first choice goalkeeper is wanting to stay in the Championship or above and is being courted by Sheffield Wednesday. Heaton wants to move closer to his family in Chester and feels the South Yorkshire side would help him do that.
Players set to extend their contracts are Jon Stead, Matthew Bates, Lewin Nyatanga, Brian Howard, Mark Wilson, Cole Skuse, Louis Carey, Dean Gerken and James Wilson.

22 Apr 2013 20:11:01
David wheater to return to middlesbrough in the summer, boro are set to lose fellow centre backs Stephen McManus and Rhys Williams, tony Mowbray has also made Bristol city winger Albert adomah his top summer target and contact has been made with Manchester United for both will Keane and nick Powell, expect a busy close season at the riverside with at least 8 departures including marvin emnes, nicky bailey, Julio arca, Justin hoyte, Ishmael miller and Scott McDonald

It is a well known fact that the large majority of boro fans despise miller. Main is still developing and will be our main striker if not next year the year after he has qualities that miller doesn't have

I hope Rhys stays

Williams won't be leaving, he's to valuable to the club; Mogga loves his style of play and he's a great CB.
Hoyte is also a great player who I doubt will go, we won't have the cash to replace hime

Adomah will definetly be sold back to the Championship or a low Premier League side.

Expect Palace, Boro, QPR, Reading, and Hull to be in the mix.

I still make Palace favourite.

Boro will win him

Why oh why would adomah come to Boro? Even if we are interested there will be 3/4 clubs for him to pick from and we couldn't match the wages they could offer. Never mind the ambition!

22 Apr 2013 20:00:50
Cardiff City are set to release two players after deciding not to extend their contracts. City manager Malky Mackay believes two aren't up to Premier League standard and would do them good to move on.
Irish midfielder Stephen McPhail is in line to be released and is rumoured to have had already had talks with Championship club Charlton Athletic.
Another set to leave is experience frontman Heidar Helguson. The Icelandic hitman is believed to have been told he won't feature much next campaign. The 35 year old still thinks he can play at a high level for three years and is being courted by former club Watford, depending on whether they win promotion or not.
Youngster Joe Ralls will be offered a new long term deal whilst Norwich defender Leon Barnett will sign a two year contract for just under £1 million.

I'd be very very surprised if Zola is interested in H. His teams play Arsenal style total football. H too old too slow too static and spent his career playing hoof. {Ed003's Note - What!!!.}

Helguson to Watford no chance, wouldn't get a look in. May want to apply for a job in the burger van, litho ugh not ure he wold even get that. Watford are playing the best football in The Championship and do not need a one trick pony up front.

We all love Heidar at Watford, but he doesn't really fit into our style of play. We don't hoof it into the box, it's passing play and he has tired legs.

Helguson will always be held in high regard at Watford but unlikely to come back again due to the style of football. Never say never but probably not.

23 Apr 2013 10:52:00
Heidar is a legend at the Vic, but doesn't fit the model, style of both the Manager and Owners. Top player who would do well at any Championship club.

Even at 35 years old, I doubt there's a better header of the ball, but Watford don't really play to Helguson's strengths anymore, so it would be an unlikely signing, even on a free.

HH could still do a job as a cameo sub for a premiership team, but no one will offer him first striker option at that level - He has plenty of experience which would be valuable to any squad with a young striker looking to learn how to progress their career - An Icelandic Kevin Davis - but I agree I think Watford are unlikely to match his wages, plus his wear and tear injuries would put Zola off too - I could see him back in the Championship with QPR (who made a mistake getting rid of him)

23 Apr 2013 12:11:43
I would love to see Heider Helguson at Hillsborough next season

22 Apr 2013 19:49:36
Barnsley manager David Flitcroft is set to sign Rochdale midfielder Jason Kennedy on a free transfer in the summer.

22 Apr 2013 19:34:26
Bristol City will make Walsall midfielder James Baxendale their first signing of the summer.

Quite a few of walsalls players will leave if a decent fee is offered, even deano is in demand

I'm not so sure. The mood has changed under Dean Smith, it's no longer survival mode. With season ticket sales up, the intention is to retain, strengthen and challenge for the top 6. It's time for the Saddlers to be confident, not always looking to sell to survive!

22 Apr 2013 18:41:08
everton are signing Adam Le Fondre from reading in the summer, he's already been talking to them as knows a few people there. very reliable source.

What is your source then? Not saying cause it's not true. Le Fondre has said he will stay if he starts games and he will now.

Le Fondre has said he would like to join up with ex boss BM at Leeds MOT

As a royal I do not think Le Fondre is quality enough for Everton. Must be a false rumous

22 Apr 2013 18:39:32
millwall are looking at noel hunt, james vaughan, jason roberts and will grigg. very reliable source from millwall journalist alex aldridge.

Noel hunt is going to Brighton

Not if they go up.

22 Apr 2013 18:35:06
James Vaughan is interested in a move to millwall if huddersfield are relegated for around 500k. Norwich are looking to offload vaughan to huddersfield but only if they stay up. millwall very interested if huddersfield relegated.

I don't think 500k is the right price, at all.
he isn't prem standard, but 10 goals in a very poor huds team is nothing to be snubbed.

he will be sold, that I am sure of. but I expect 1-1.5m

We're staying up so let's be positive and sign one of the best loan players town have ever had.

Clearly Millwall fans don't look at the league tables, have a look chaps, not actually safe yourselves and lose tonight and you could go down.

24 Apr 2013 13:57:15
vaughn made clear wants to stay at town and millwall coulfnt even afford to keep wood even when you had first dibs makes this post even more laughable. and is this very huddersfield team that ripped you to bits for 90 mins and won 3-0 on saturday and the same team that is 1 point behind in league if we r in trouble the you definately are considering your in free fall. when reading this make sure you millwall fans don't start fighting amongst yourselves. enjoy lge 1
true terrier

25 Apr 2013 12:24:19
what makes me laugh about your post is wood turnt millwall down because he felt leicester had more chance of going up then millwall not because millwall didn't have the money because they paid the asking fee three times. also about you outplayed us for 90 minutes I am pretty sure we outplayed you for 90 minutes at our place and infact beat you 4-0 you beat us 3-0 so and who won in the play off semi final over two legs? oh yeah about that.

22 Apr 2013 18:09:13
Zoumana Bakayogo will turn down contract offers from current club Tranmere, and Preston, as he leaves League One to join Championship Blackpool.

Whygoe to blackpool hey can still go down

22 Apr 2013 20:34:59
preston don't want him

22 Apr 2013 17:46:20
Brighton interested in the signing of Peterborough striker Dwight Gayle for around the 1.2m mark

Trust me they would have to give Posh much more than 1.2 million to get Dwight Gayle!

22 Apr 2013 19:56:37
more like 6.2 mill

6.2 million? (oh look there go's Elvis riding a unicorn). ? the guy was bought from Dagenham and Redbridge for 750,000. Maximum Worth. scoring 13 goals this season 1.5million . and that's just because of he's age.

Why would we want a Peterborough striker when we are going to be in the premiership

Posh don't want to sell him, so it would be5/6 million as we couldn't replace him, and he has 5 years on his contract so no need to sell

He is better than rohdes so worth that

Scoring 13 goals isn't bad considering he has only been playing since end of November. How many other teams who are struggling have a strike with a goal virtually every other game?

Hey woah woah woah, i'm not saying he's a bad player, to be honest he's a good potential player with some skill, However. In this country players are very overpriced!, and in Europe / Spain / Italy, for 6. 2 /5.5 million You can buy a champions league player. with experience and same conversion record and higher. so to price a good young talent at 6 million is expensive considering he's as you say "just started playing", and let's not forget chemistry with current posh team, maybe he's great there and average somewhere else. ie Craig mckail Smith.

He's worth whatever posh say he's worth

22 Apr 2013 17:42:39
Bournemouth are looking at a number of players including Rudy Gestede from Cardiff, Aden Flint, Sam Vokes, Nathan Thompson, Kevin McDonald, Jacques Magohma, Lewin Nyatanga and Sam Baldock

Add david edgar of burnley to this list

22 Apr 2013 17:31:37
Cardiff rumours

Jacques Maghoma (Burton - £1.5m)
Hal Robson-Kanu (Reading - £3m)
John Cofie (man. United - Loan)
kevin Doyle (wolves - £2.5m)
brett Holman (villa - £2. 75m)
Ryan Shotton (Stoke - £2m)
Daniel Wass (Evian - £1.5m)
Dan Gosling (Newcastle - Loan)
James Shea (arsenal - Loan)
Glenn Murray (Crystal palace - £6m)

Is this glen murray, whos just signed a new deal? Doyle the striker who has lost his touch and a player on a long contract!

You won't get Murray for 6 mill moosh, if Rhodes is worth 8 mill Murray is worth 12. You might just about get his shirt from this season for 6 mill.

Glenn murray is not good enough for the prem

Shotton contract up in the summer

Im going to take a guess and say this is definitely not a RFC fan

Im a notts county fan and I can tell you now john cofie is not premier league standard at the moment. tbh he struggled for us in league 1

They can have shotton 1 out of 10 games he is awesome the rest he is league 1 maybe championship standard

I Cardiff want Shotton, I will give him a lift from Stoke to Cardiff on a tricycle, I've played against better players on a hungover Sunday morning!

23 Apr 2013 19:49:40
Reading will want more than £3m for Hal Robson Kanu with Hammond negotiating deals. Try £5m and we may start talking

Are you real, if we sign players of this standard we'll be playing sunday league in no time. c'mon

They can have shotton for free. Every stoke fan in the world will chip in for his train fare.

Shottons a league 1 right back at best.

22 Apr 2013 17:06:34
Swindon Town goalkeeper Wes Foderingham (22) will be sold in the summer to reduce the playing budget at the club. a fee of 500k is likely and with a host of championship clubs interested Foderingham looks set for a move. Leicester could move in as Kasper Schmeichel is subject to interest from the premier league.

Not true Wes is not a big earner at the club far from it, the big wages are paid to Navarro, miller, Roberts, Williams, Collins, mcleverley, McCormack. They are all the big money fact Wes was rescued from the reserves at palace so he is not s big wage earner.

22 Apr 2013 17:31:10
In their continued interest in the MLS, Stoke City are taking a closer look at the young Philadelphia Union striker Jack McInerney.

22 Apr 2013 16:25:38
a daily understands that Swansea could go for Leicester City keeper Kasper Schmeichel should Michel Vorm leave the club in the summer.

And he wants to play in the prem, which won't happen if he stays at leicester

A journalist makes a link that isn't there, Vorm rumoured to be on his way (Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal etc. ), Laudrup is Danish, oh here's a goalie with Danish links so it must be true. In reality how many Danes has Laudrup signed to date - a nice round number -0

22 Apr 2013 16:18:07
Ishmael Miller to Middlesbrough in a swap plus cash for Curtis Main. With miller on a season long loan at middlesbrough, he has had plenty of time to impress the fans and the manager. He has more than Curtis main, who despite having almost 3 years at the Teeside team, has less starts than miller. The cash part of the deal is thought to be in the region of £500,000 for the £750,000 rated miller, but with main going the other direction it will be £500,000

I'd be stunned if boro got rid of main, he's one of the only players on a contract they can actually afford at the minute. kevslug.

Stupid, all Boro fans adore Curtis Main and hate Ishmael Miller, he is so inconsistent, no chance whatsoever, Curtis Main is a youth player, that is why he has had less starts this season. He has also been out for over half the season. Also Main joined in the summer two seasons ago so is approaching 2 seasons, check your facts mate.

Well this is 100% true. NOT
Main and 500,000 you are having a laugh. Main is a young kid but will get more game time next season and is looking like a bright spark. Goal record this season Miller 5 goals in 25 games 1 in 5, Main 3 goals in 7 games 1 in 2. 3.

This has got to be the most ridiculous made up rumor I've ever heard, Main is the future for Boro, we'd have to be crazy to go for that sort of a deal, Main should get his chance next season and Millers proved he's not got it as he's been on loan all season and done it.

22 Apr 2013 16:12:31
Middlesbrough full back George friend is rumoured to be heading back to his old club Doncaster, as it is clear he isn't getting his game at the riverside. He hasn't started the last 4 games for borough and has recently been dropped for young converted winger Andy Halliday. George is thought to be worth in the region of £100,000 but Doncaster hope that Middlesbrough's need to trim the wage bill will allow some of the fringe players to leave for free

George Friend is injured. He was also linked with West Ham in January. So going to Doncaster would be very unlikely.

First of all its boro not borough

Second of all George friend has been the best left back in the league this year and we would be wanting 2m for him

Thirdly friend is injured which is why Halliday has been playing left back the last few games

Do your research first

Reason friend is not getting a game is that he is injured

Boro turned down £5million from West Ham in the summer so just no

5million? In the summer that you signed him?

Im sure he means january west ham were interested in jan but we said no as we thought we were going up

At last something to look forward to at the Keepmoat stadium doncaster, ultimate cage fighting, along with musical support by professor green should be more excitement in 10 minutes than we've had in 23 matches this season

22 Apr 2013 16:11:50
Simon Grayson is looking to add stirkers to his Preston squad and Bradford's Naki Wells is top of his list he has watched him all season and has been very impressed by the youngster and the other being Lee Novak who he has worked with before when manager at Huddersfield and its believed he is also wanting to bring in Niel Danns and Keith Southern as he knows there good pros and will add a bit more cutting edge and link up play that Preston have missed all season.

Unless Preston have a million plus to spend they can forget about signing Nahki Wells that's the clause in his contract

Can't see Danns dropping a league, also PNE are skint and he is on good money, Southern under contract for another year and on money PNE can't match, Wells looking for a bigger club and would take a big transfer fee to get him, that leaves Novak who is out of contract in June, maybe he would go but not sure any Town players hit it off with Larry.

Cant see this happening

PNE are skint.

Most of their players are on less money than Fleetwwod Town players down the road in League 2.

Cant see any "names" joining them as they just can't afford them

Trevor Hemmings owns PNE, listed on UK "richest list", skint?

PNE owe Trevor Hemmings £32m and need another £3.7m just to pay the bills this season.

He may be a rich man. but he's not stupid. that's why your whole team cost £160k

The quickest way to become a millionaire is to first become a billionaire, then buy a football club!

If PNE owe Trevor Hemmings £32m and Trevor Hemmings owns 100% of PNE does that not mean he owes himself £32m? The whole team cost £160k, yet Preston paid £250k for Beavon plus fees for Procter and Cummings.

Fergie owns PNE, Hemmings is just a front, so they do have a load of money {Ed003's Note - The singer lol.}

Could see Novak going, out of contract in the summer I believe, and not particularly Championship quality. Would be great in League 1 though. Obviously we have to stay up first!

Out of favour borough winger Adam Reach is said to be going to York city for £50,000-£100,000 as it is clear he isn't part of mowbray's plans. The young winger is out of favour with the fans and feels a move down a division or 2 would be perfect for him.

Adam is one of our best assets at this time, he has so much potential and will be central to the team next year, he wouldent leave unless a prem team came in and offered 1m+

Not a chance he is only young but is boro through and through, watch out next session when he will be a big part of first team plans

Adam reach is one of the best prospects outside of the premiership this rumor is ridiculous he will be a massive player for us next season

22 Apr 2013 16:07:14
Sam sodje and Patrick agyemang look set to stay at Pompey next season

22 Apr 2013 16:05:09
Borough goalkeeper Jason Steele is believed to be heading for Chelsea as Peter Cech is getting older. The transfer is believed to be Steele plus around £1million in return for premiership level goalkeeper Ross Turnbull.

Isn't Turnbull out of contract in the Summer, so Boro wouldn't need to let Steel join Chelsea as part of any deal.

Jason has been outstanding this season and won't leave boro (not borough) for less than 5m

Also, don't Chelsea have cortois?

23 Apr 2013 12:14:59
He's massively overrated

22 Apr 2013 15:46:21
Mkdons ins:
Bradley Wright-Phillips (free) to wrk alongside his father Ian

Rene Howe (free) whose not extending his contract with league two side torquay

Neal Bishop (free) from Notts county (source:tv)

Tom Spurr (free) who will no longer be needed when doncaster get promoted.

Bishop is under contract at Notts, so the club would have to agree to give him away. There are already rumblings of bids from Champ clubs. If that's true, he won't be staying in League 1 for free.

Free for bish doubt it

Spurr will still be first choice next season

Haha tommy spurr? Dream on fella

22 Apr 2013 15:43:57
Ronaldo will make a big £70m move to Arsenal after Arsene Wenger has been given the go ahead to try and sign him and make a big name signing. You heard it here first!

70m when Madrid paid 80m? What are you on? He would cost over 100m!

Coming from a man united fan he wouldn't cost 100 million real madrid said they would sell him for 60 million so what you on 70 million is about right but I couldn't see him signing for arsenal there's more chance of us or chelsea

It's a goalkeeper and defenders Arsenal need, not another winger.

You are right. I did hear it here first. And I am certain it'll be the last time as well.

redbird

He has stated several times that he would not play for any other english club but ute, I suppose that does'nt rule out cardiff and swansea though but not the gooners sorry!

22 Apr 2013 15:35:18
Walsall set to offer contracts to Derby duo Ben Davies and Nathan Tyson. {Ed034's Note - I hope you have a good medical staff for tyson

Ben davies is signing for notts county but you could sign tyson i'm a derby fan btw

Tyson needs to be purchased first. You can't just offer him a contract. Would be around 150-200k. Oh yeah Ed's spot on will be scoring a few and look really good then just get crippled.

22 Apr 2013 15:17:20
There is a rumour doing the rounds up here, that Forest have had a £750k bid accepted for Bradford striker Nahki Wells. This is from the Bradford end.

Not a chance Forest haven't got that kinda money unless they sell someone first. Plus he isn't worth anywhere near that much, teenage who got 15 goals in league two for one season? Take a zero off and you might be about right. {Ed034's Note - of course forest have that kind of money. have you not seen who now owns them??? of course you have, as you are a notts fan going on a previous post. silly comment

Ed, they haven't spent a penny they haven't brought in from sales. The owner is loaded, but he's put nothing into the team yet.

Nahki has a 1.5 million releaae clause as he signed a new 5 year deal last season next

Do your homework Nahki is 22 years old not a teenager and has scored regular now for the past 2 seasons also there is a clause in his contract which still has 3 years after this season to run of over million

How can you say the forest owners havnt spent any money? The only money they received was £2.5m for gunter. Cox and Lansbury cost £3m between them. Then there was guedioura for over £1m and Collins for £500k. Plus smaller fees for another 4 permanent signings and the likes of sharp, jenas, Ayala, Reyes, Hutchinson and ward, which all would have needed wages and some sort of fee for the season long loans.
So over £5m on transfer, £1m on tv screens and electronics advertising boards and then all the fees for loans. let's not forget the fee they also paid to purchase the club.
This is why the ed said to the jealous pie that your comment was silly. {Ed034's Note - the figure is around £10m on just signing fees (whether full-time or loans), plus wages and the ground improvements you rightly mentioned.
What makes me laugh is the bitterness a lot of county fans have towards forest. We just go about our business ignoring notts, yet they have this thing about us. Hey ho, you carry on counting the costs of Munto and let the reds get on with building towards a premiership future

22 Apr 2013 14:44:27
Swansea are interested in signing
Jose canas
Lukaku
Andros Townsend
Aspas
kasper schmichael (if vorm leaves)
Alberto botia
De Guzman on perminant

Canas - Done Deal. Lukaku - Pipedreams. Townsend - non starter. Aspas - depends on who else wants him and has the money to close the deal. Schiechel - Danish father, someone is making one and one add up to three. Botia - has the right profile watch this one. De Guzman again depends on who else is interested and prepared to splash the cash

I got a funny feeling aspas won't be a wise buy.

22 Apr 2013 14:27:23
right this what is a highly possibly if jose stays ronaldo to utd for 40mil plus nani if jose goes to chelsea ronaldo to utd for 55mil and falcao to chelsea for his buy out clause and torres will have one more year welbeck is off to everton on loan after a poor season in front of goal hummels or some of his class to Manchester United and that is it with rooney dropping back to cm arsenal will go for the stoke or Sunderland gk and a not so shocking bid for cese there are no transfer Target for man city as yet depending on if they win the fa cup and finishes 2nd Mancini is may stay (it is still unlikely he will keep his job) either jose and the munich coach will take over depending on which wants the Chelsea job if the germany champion boss goes to man city watch how many German league based players are signed

Arsenal will probably get stokes begovic because he has hinted that he could leave stoke and mignolet hasn't
Also I hardly think Di Canio would let Sunderlands best player go when he doesn't want to go anyways

Sharp

RESULT- Reading 1st 106 points

Sharp won't come to Reading to sit on bench. that's one of the reasons he left Southampton on loan to go to Forest

Leeds don't want any of those, and no way would Austin join Reading, considering there will be prem clubs chasing him. And 1st?, having a laugh, mid table at best. oh, and McCarthy will be gone as well.

You won't get Billy Sharp, a deal already done as part of his loan to Notts Forest

22 Apr 2013 15:42:24
Eisfield plays for Arsenal

106points? why not tell us some of the scores in games as well with that crystal ball of yours.

Please take Guly

Pogrebnayak will go on a free, le fondre and federici not worth that much, robson-kanu probably around 2.5mil and ill drive guly to you!

Why would Charlie Austin move to Reading? Surely if he did move on it would be to the Prem? Every team that goes down thinks they can come back up again the next season. Wolves, Blackburn, Blackpool, etc have struggled in the Championship since being relegated. Adkins is a good manager but he is no miracle worker. Maybe after a couple seasons in the Championship you'll be promoted but I think you're deluded if you think you can come straight back up after going down.

22 Apr 2013 17:11:03
im going to take a guess that this is a reading fan

Augustien is a very good player but injury prone and not to be trusted behind the wheel of a car. The 39 points he picked up would have made Reading safe this year.

22 Apr 2013 16:45:38
Le Fondre will go to West Brom. Won't be for that much though.

22 Apr 2013 17:55:02
you won't get 106 points wiv Guly in your team! but i'm with the gut above please plz take him lol! WTFILN!

Pog has 3 years left so he will be sold for money not leave on a free and players are worth that much and don't like that line up no thanks no sharp deal is done with forest and leeds might not want them but mcdermott does {Ed034's Note - a fee for sharp is agreed, it is up to whether sharp wants to sign and whether billy Davies wants him to

As a reading fan a lot of this isn't true and reading play carrico in midfield not defence

Dream on, nobody in their right mind would pay that much for a lot of the players listed here. They got relegated for a reason. As for the ins, I think you have a chance at some of these but Sharp and Austin seem incredibly unlikely to me seeing as saints are already poised to sell to Forest and Austin won't be leaving Burnley unless for a top flight side.

Pog won't leave on a free. He has a 4 year deal.

Please have guly

Looks like Sharp could bee heading to Leeds, along with Le Fondre who wants to link up with BM again

23 Apr 2013 12:54:55
Thank You Nigel Adkins

23 Apr 2013 13:04:10
POG will leave on a free - wages - you can't afford them!

I've heard that Udinese are sniffing around Mariappa and Mcarthy for Watford in Prem league - total fee £3m

What about Kelly

23 Apr 2013 19:13:03
Augustien is to good for reading

23 Apr 2013 19:34:00
Is this the same Reading team that were going to buy Rhodes at the begiining of the season. Never did. And look what happened to them. the same Reading fans who then stated he wouldn't score goals in the Championship. Wrong again. Never mind hopefully will play you next year.

Rhodes' goals have really helped you.

We can't afford Pogs wages? Hello! Owner is the son of a multi billionaire. Yeah we can't afford £35K a week.

Parachute payment will cover pog and shame watford won't be in the prem then. And 3m for a player we bought for 2.5m and a player getting a solo 4m from fulham with liverpool interested at 8m good one

^No you can't afford Pogs wages. Having a rich owner doesn't mean he's stupid enough to throw away money on a championship player for £35k/week.

Very few championship teams could 'afford' to throw that much money at one average player.

100 percent rhodes or austin won't be at reading both have done enough to play premier league, reading had their little flash in the pan, possibly a yoyo team from now on

We bought Billy Sharp for about £5m last season, why the hell would we sell him at a £3m loss when he has been scoring goals. Research will help your posts no end.

Where is kelly he will best player at rb in the championship

Saints bought sharp for 1.8 million not 5 million if your going to tell people to get their research right maybe you should do so yourself

I'm a Saints fan, we DID NOT buy Billy Sharp for "about £5 million". Where did you pluck that figure from?!

No one knows what we bought him for, but it's reported and generally thought that it was around £1.8million. No where near £5million was spent on him!

Look at Newcastle and West Ham. That kept all their high earners in a bid to come straight back up and it worked why wouldn't we?

As for Sharp if you think you'll get the £5m back you paid for him you're deluded.

Gotta love the fans of these old dinosaur clubs who hate on the young up and comers.

^Name a player who was on £35k/week when Newcastle/West Ham got relegated?

Newcastle and West Ham also have double the gates Reading get.

And everyone [normal] knows we didn't buy Sharp for £5mil!

As for the petty comment regarding "dinosaur clubs who hate on young up and comers" bit ironic since Reading are going in one direction only, and that is DOWN! Saints on the other hand. staying UP.

We were in league 2 10 years ago and have been on a steady rise since then. Yes we are down but still a minor set back.

I could name players who were on more then 35K at Wet Spam and Newcastle. (Here's a hint it's most of them)

Reading do well with Adkins but these rumours are ridiculous and 106 points. not gunna happen

25 Apr 2013 12:40:00
Kevin Nolan, Carlton Cole, Matt Taylor and Rob Green were on those sorts of wages

22 Apr 2013 14:17:01
Rochdale manager Keith Hill is set to offload the majority of his squad this summer in order to begin his 3 year plan for Rochdale. The likes of Ashley Grimes, Jason Kennedy and Bobby Grant are expected to leave after snubbing contracts citing desire to play in a higher division.

22 Apr 2013 14:10:08
Southampton considering make a move for Gonzalo Bueno a player they enquired about last summer.

Arsenal and chelsea were interested but don't know if their interest has cooled!

22 Apr 2013 13:44:47
west brom youngster Izzy Brown 16years old plays for England under 21's is rumoured to be chased by Manchester united and Liverpool

And arsenal

Nowhere near good enough yet, carp statements by someone at the club boosting his profile

Who is this brown, never heard of him

25 Apr 2013 00:19:21
goes to my school is a great player and deserve to be looked at. has the potential to be a world class player

22 Apr 2013 13:42:53
Sam Rush, Derby County chief executive has said that there are 6 players to come in with experience, from the way he talks there seems to be a possibility that money may be avaliable
Known Targets
Alex Baptiste (Derby scouts have watched him, confirmed by club)
Chris Humphrey (shot down by Clough)
Albert Adomah ( unlikely as may cost a bit)
Craig Forsyth ( no deal done, but seems a likely one)
Simeon Jackson ( long term target, wages may be a problem)
Chris Martin (Personally I would say no, but he is on loan and Clough said on loan players are targets)
Jahques Maghoma ( Clough certainly a fan but I think he lacks the work rate)
Derby are not chasing a left back, Freeman can play there, as can Forsyth and also I expect Max Lowe to be given a go next season.

Out
Nathan Tyson
Theo Robinson
Tom Naylor
Gareth Roberts
Saul Deeeney
as for Ben Davies, seems no decision has been made yet.

These are just my opinions, unless stated otherwise.

Surely we should be signing most if those players. ?

22 Apr 2013 13:41:25
Luis Suarez reportedly in talks with Bayern Munich after the 'bite' incident for a fee of 20-25 million

22 Apr 2013 13:48:11
Derby looking to strengthen defensive line with move for Aaron Cresswell and Alex Baptiste.

Moves for Dwight Gayle or Sam Baldock as pacy forwards to work alongside misfiring workhorse (donkey) Conor Sammon.

midfield moves for Dawson from Leeds and Darren Pratley.

There's no way derby will be able to afford gayle

Cresswell won't leave Ipswich for derby

If Cresswell leaves it is likely to be to a Premier League side, not another Championship team.

Dawson has a big future at Leeds, so he certainly won't take a step backwards to derby

No chance of dawson leaving leeds for derby

Pratley has started nearly every game for Bolton since Christmas so I doubt it.

22 Apr 2013 17:13:25
Not a chance of signing any, Clough would have to sell first, dirtby are skint!

Derby fan here.

We can't afford Gayle

Cresswell will go to premier league

Pratley will be on too high wages Dawson is rubbish, not a patch on will Hughes or Jeff Hendrick our young central midfielders.

Baldock potentially with Bristol going down.

Baptiste 100% definitely.

Leeds to Derby a step backwards? Give over. 8 in a row.

^ 9 in a row

I think it's actually 9 in a row now

Dawson rubbish what a stupid comment to make clearly never seen him play

Saw Dawson vs Derby. nothing special.

Wow derby have beaten leeds 9 times who cares how many times did we beat you before that

Yes derby fans you have beaten us 9 times in your cup final funny how you always seem to play good against us

Like I said what a stupid comment to make about a player you have seen play once anyway as a leeds fan I don't get the big fuss about the lad hughes let's see how good he is next season first shall we before getting giddy

26 Apr 2013 17:46:19
dawson had a great game, leeds vs derby and was surprisingly subbed for McCormack. thought he looked good on the ball,, bit too like Hughes though. derby need a tackler and ball winner. bryson runs everywhere fruitlessly and hendrick gives away too many needless fouls on the edge of the box.

22 Apr 2013 13:46:54
west brom, man united and everton want leeds youngster domininc poleon for 200k but mcdermott says he's in his plans for next season
is he any good any one heard of him

Domininc Poleon is a geat Leeds Junior - would cost you donkeys a muinimum £2m which you could not afford!

Why would any team from prem want any leeds players

Why did man united want the chief why did juve want kewell. Poleon could be really good pace good finisher time will tell.

24 Apr 2013 08:51:29
Man Utd can't afford him? come on now there's being a fan and then there's being silly!

22 Apr 2013 13:04:03
Watford will take 18 year old Albanian defender Tom Siku and 18 year old Albanian midfielder Enes Hoxha on loan from Udinese next season with the view to a permanent deal the following season.

Both are the standout player's from Udinese's youth team and big thing's are expected of them.

22 apr 2013 13:41:40
as an actual watford fan i strongly doubt that there is any truth in this.

If big things are expected of them then why are udinese letting Watford
have them {Ed025's Note - i think they have the same owners mate..

They would not be ready for The Premiership/Championship. so hardly likely!

Never heard of them, and I'd have thought too young to be involved in Watford's squad next season.

Udinese put the Australian wonder kid Panos Armenakas into Watford's (world class) academy this year, so maybe that's where they are also going for a bit of finishing?

Udinese would 'let us Watford have them' because their development will benefit more from playing first team football than youth football, in the hope of them turning out to be fantastic players to be sold at their peak for a big transfer fee. Then that money used to reinvest in the Pozzo trinity. Pozzo's transfer policy in a nutshell. Sustainable.

Possible but unlikely rumour right now. With WFC still fighting for promotion, Granada fighting to avoid relegation and Udinese fighting for Europa League qualification, still too much in movement. I guess the movements of players among the three Pozzo's teams will be decided only when it will be known what they'll have to do next season, in order to reinforce all in the most adequate way.

The fact you've never heard of them means nothing. Who had heard of Abdi Vydra Forestieri or Battochio before this season. Most of the players that will come in you will not have heard of. Any rumours of big name players will be rubbish
I agree that nothing will happen until the season is over though and the window opens. Not sure if the window opens in June or July

I'd heard of Abdi.

We can't loan every one if this "loophole" is closed

22 Apr 2013 12:20:06
Wayne Rooney is reported to be in talks with Spanish giants Athletic Madrid in a part money swap with Falcao

22 Apr 2013 13:29:24
Swap deals rarely ever happen. especially ones involving Big Name players!

Personally I can't see Rooney moving to Spain.

Ronaldo -> Man United
Bale -> Real Madrid
Rooney -> Spurs

22 Apr 2013 12:19:13
Plymouth In's (so long as they are in league two)

Joe Bryan-Bristol City (have to trim the budget/not wanted)
Rene Howe-Torquay United (if Sheridan stays)
Jake Hyde- Barnet (if Barnet are relegated)
Rueben Reid- Yeovil Town (if Sheridan stays)
Harry Worley-Oxford United (agreed a deal pending on League 2 status)

all other signings will be loans or players without a club

Contracts renewed (offered pending league two status)

Sheridan

all the first team except for:

Chadwick
Feeney
Lowry
Charles

If relegated these may get new deals, with several of the other players moving on instead

If that is the case for Harry Worley, may I wish him good luck with his future at Plymouth. You have a very good player and one we did not give a decent chance to, in my view. Good luck to Plymouth next season and hopefully in Div 2

22 Apr 2013 14:41:03
Once again, wishful thinking about Bryan. He is very highly rated at Ashton Gate and was sent out purely for experience. He signed a new deal at Xmas and will be needed in BS3 for the League 1 campaign. With Cunningham probably leaving (as he is too good for L1) Bryan has a clear run into our (BCFC) first team.

Reid does not score enough. We need goalscorers.

Reid Hyde and Howe as a strike force i'd be happy with that.

Bryan maybe wishful but you don't ask you don't get ;)

23 Apr 2013 17:03:48
Would Love to sign Howe and Hyde. Would like Bryan but don't think Bristol city would let him go to be honest.

To be fair the situation plymouth are in you can't be picky with players

We can be picky. if we stay up, we have one of the biggest attendances in the league whilst scrapping at the bottom, when we start moving up the league they will go up. I am certain Argyle could match any team in the league wages wise and should have a large salary cap due to the clubs turnover

City would have a riot on thier hands if they sod Bryan, he is the first academy product in forever to look ready for first team football.

We are down and this has to be his year, if he can't get a game in league 1 ask about him next Summer.

22 Apr 2013 12:16:57
lee catermole in talks with championship newbees Bournemouth for a pay as you go contract

This seems very, very unlikely.

I didn't realise bournemouth were offering mobile phones these days.

Part of the new strategy for AFC Bournemouth is for their midfield to have better communication AND be more mobile, hence for nest season all player will have "PLAY as you go" contracts. platyers not included in this scenario will be offerred ROAMING contracts.

22 Apr 2013 10:59:40
Notts County have agreed two signings ahead of next season.
Aaron McLean will join from Hull City on a free, along with Luke O'Neill on a season long loan from Burnley.
They are also in talks with David Worrall of Bury and Samir Bihmoutine on loan from Arsenal.

A large number of the squad will be leaving Meadow Lane, with fees being received for Bishop £75k to Blackpool, and over £1m for Bialkowski to Norwich.

As much as i'd love for us to sign mclean if he's available which more than likely he is I know for a fact ferguson would want him at peterboro and yes I know where a bigger club than them but they can offer better wages and championship football however I could see us signing worrall and I think he would be great signing always causes problems against us and if the bialkowski roumer is true I think that would also be a good move spiess has proven he can be number one

Bialowski? where did that come from?
Norwich have stated they are looking for a higher quality of signings this summer compared to last. which shows in the RVW signing

Not to mention Mcnally has now said 100% ruddy will not be sold. so Norwich have an England National keeper, Mark Bunn who would start for most of the bottom half of the prem, as a back up, and the irish international as a 3rd choice.

combined with 2 england youth keepers in Rudd and Steer.

22 Apr 2013 12:32:43
former premier league one hit wonder Asamoah Gyan in talks with la liga side Real Sociedad who have money behind them and target champions league qualification

22 Apr 2013 12:14:54
Manchester Utd reportedly selling nani to Zenit st Petersburg on a four year deal for around 12-15 mil

22 Apr 2013 11:55:56
Spurs are close to agreeing a deal with already doomed QPR for lethal front man Loic Remy, his signature will indicate the exit of Defoe who is wanted at Fulham by Matin Jol.

The cottagers have options on loan signings Enoh & Reither & will take up the option of signing the pair permenantly. The cottagers are extremely close to signing Amorebieta & will tie up season long loan deals for Chantome & Miguel Veloso

Urm this is clearly a post by a hopeful Fulham fan.

JD to leave spurs urm. No sorry definitely not

As a Fulham fan I don't want to sign Defoe as I think we need a young striker all the rest are possible. {Ed034's Note - berbatov has done the job and he is no spring chicken

Sorry shakira or whatever your name is I'm a us press official who has to remain nameless but I can tell you my source plays for Spurs but it isn't Dempsey othe Fulham stuff comes from a pal who works in PR for Fulham
Oh & for the record I'm a Everton fan.

Ed34 I know that Berba is no spring chicken but there is no reason to have an entire strike force over 30. I want to see us developing young talent and improving the quality of the team through the youth system. It is a personal preference but I think that it is going to be the best way to ensure that we can maintain and improve our position {Ed034's Note - I see where you're coming from but a couple of season from Defoe, while a couple if talented younger forwards learn off him and while he takes the pressure off them, surely can only be a good thing

22 Apr 2013 21:39:56
Everyone knows that's Suarez bit Ivanovic well next on him menu is Peter Odemchickenwingie and Dimitar Burgatov. HAHA. he should get at least a 10 game ban and a huge fine. Come on you whites hopefully some good signings come in the summer.

The only problem I can see is that if we sign Defoe and play him with Berba up front what game time could be given to any youngsters coming through? {Ed034's Note - you can't go through a whole season only playing two strikers. Fergie is the master of having two preferred strikers and two very good back up strikers and giving them all game time

23 Apr 2013 13:31:07
I'd like to see Cauley Woodrow and the Tank get a few sub appearances over the last few games this season - then ease them in over the next season or two

Can't see Fulham moving for Defoe, excellent player but age is against him and he seems to be consistently injured.

22 Apr 2013 11:42:57
Derby are set to make a surprise move for burnley striker Charlie Austin.

Yea, like that would be a step forward, lol

22 Apr 2013 13:41:33
Villa moving for Austin to replace Spurs bound Benteke!

Fee agreed, figure around £8million upfront + add-ons. (euro qualification being one of them, now you're having a laugh!),

Jason Shackell also moving to Stoke (fee of £2. 25million agreed)

Dyche using money to raid old club Watford for Troy Deeney, Readings Kebe and Derby goalie, Frank Fielding.

Dyche has no chance of signing Deeney.

Derby will 100% not be signing Austin.

Jason Shackell, why would Stoke want a CB their problem is scoring goals?

Frank Fielding will likely be sold for around 400-500k Burnley or Birmingham would be a good sell with Grant and Butland leaving respectively.

Oh also I don't think Austin is a good replacement for Benteke.

If we can get 8 million + for Austin and then another 2.5 million for Shackell then they'll be gone quicker than Usain Bolt in the 100m.

However I think there's no chance of it happening at those prices. Half them and you're more likely to be nearer the mark! (unfortunately)

Dyche will use money from Austin sale to get Deeney, even with his scoring record he'll only be on the bench at watford as they are intent on more loans next season from Udinese and Spain, so at Burnely he'll be topman upfront, plus Burnley will pay him more despite Watfords owners!

Fielding will be a good buy for goalie and cash strapped derby will sell on the cheap like they did for Shackell who is moving as his agent always moves him on every year or so to get a bigger cut of his fees!

Dont know where this "cash strapped derby" comes in but we are not cash strapped, we are one of the more financially sound teams in the league

Ill informed sadly, derby are not cash strapped, they operate on a sensible budget and reinvest a lot of money into a very good academy, as for shackell, good player but a mercinary, had a clause in deal, derby owing 500k for extra apperance

Sheffield United director David Green will open talks with PNE regarding manager Simon Grayson filling the empty position at the club should the club fail in the promotion play off's. Grayson's ability to get his previous clubs out of League 1 has made him the first choice for the Blades if they fail to get out of League 1.
Formal contact with Peter Ridsdale is expected in May to arrange a compensation package thought to be in the region of just £300k.

If the club does gain promotion, Sheffield United will change their approach and look at 2 other managers, who are currently in employment. One in the SPL & the other in the Championship.

22 Apr 2013 13:00:50
wont happen simon Grayson as said he will be planning a promotion push with preston

I can see Larry gone in Jan if he's able to do a half decent job at PNE

If Larry manages to get top half of League 1 at PNE with players who cost £0 other clubs are going to come sniffing

He's on a short contract with low wages compared to big clubs like Sheff Utd, Wolves, Blackburn & Burnley.

He's already been mentioned as a contender for the Blackburn job if they drop down.

I can see PNE fans looking for another manager by Jan {Ed003's Note - A bit of mischief making I think }

You seem to know a lot about Simon Grayson, Blackpool supporters call him "Larry". therefore you must be one trying to cause mischief. {Ed003's Note - Who ? }

If "Larry" does well at PNE I can see bigger clubs come knocking on their door wanting to speak to him.

Burnley, Blackburn, Wolves, Barnsley and Sheff Utd will all be looking for managers soon. could be very interesting come Jan!

Jose Baxter is centre of attention at Oldham Athletic this summer, with a number of championship and premier league sides rooting for a signature. The fans favourite, who has 2 years remaining on his deal at Boundary Park has been approved to leave by Simon Corney for a minimum fee of £500,000 with clauses.

Won't happen as 500K isn;t enough for a 2yr contract try a million.

Shame he loves it at Oldham so he won't be going anywhere. new manager new team and watch us go next season as we won;t struggle.

Can;t wait for the next rumours regarding our players. I say go for it and make a fool of yourself.

22 Apr 2013 17:04:10
Jimmy nicol linked to oldham assistant manager job. I hope its true top coach with good experience and a good record as a manager and player. 70 plus caps for northern ireland and knows scotand and ireland players well.

BAXTER would only be sold if the correct fee is met and its more than 500K then we have all the other clauses to add on.

We will make a profit no matter what as he cost us nothing BUT he is very happy at Oldham and with a new manager in place doesn;t mean he would leave. Plus the fans love him and that is what players like.

Our CUP run means we don;t have to sell either.

Just watch the players that we bring in for next season a couple of coups on the cards.

Brighton to complete the signings of the three loan signings this year. Bridge and Upson said to be willing to accept a pay-cut to stay at the South Coast club.
Bridge 90k -> 15k
Upson 35k -> 15k
Hammond 10k -> 10k

Dont think 15k will keep them at the club - other teams will pay a lot higher wages for them. Cardiff being one of them. would love to see them at the club but don't think they will saty.

Can see all of these happening if we get promoted.

Brighton only pay people 13k a week so they won't pay 15 k unless we get promoted and then we will have to pay more to keep hold of our players

Believe it or not, Dobbie is on 17. 5K

Errm whoever told you this is lying my uncle works at the club and knows that we do not pay ANYONE over 13 k a week to keep costs down

No way is dobbie is on 17. 5K, what a load of rubbish!

Na na na. you made a mistake. the decimal point is in the wrong place. £1, 750 . there that's better!

So yeah as I said the most they'll pay is 13 k and I don't think he is even on that

Chris Baird to move to West Brom on a free transfer.

23 Apr 2013 13:33:17
Lots of rumours about this one - good luck Chrissy, you deserve more playing time

I can 85% confirm that John ruddy of norwich city will sign for arsenal in the summer with the fee to be in the region of 12 million.

12million sounds fair enough to me. Would prefer not to but can't argue with 12million.

I some how don't think so he is a top keeper and will stay with the city.

Arsenal are being linked with every half decent keeper going, I call hogwash

Arsenal won't pay 12 mill, he's not worth that much, maybe 4/5 mill

22 Apr 2013 13:48:30
He is worth more than 4/5 mil to Norwich so not a chance he will be sold for that. He is a top class GK and its a shame that he has missed so much of the season as with him in goal Norwich are a much better team. Ruddy in goals breeds confidence from the back and that is a huge influence. With a bit of luck his long injury layoff will have cooled teams interest in him and he will remain a Norwich player next season.

Would hate to see Ruddy leave, but if a big club comes in for him and at a decent price then would be worth cashing in and getting more funds to add more quality to areas needed, plus Bunn has been excellent since he came in so we have another good keeper in him.

Can't see it, if he leaves Norwich it will be for a team that wins trophies.

that really isn't a dig at arsenal, it's just my personal feeling. yes he may play in the europa/CL next season if he moves to arsenal, but if he's not going to win something why go?

Ruddy won't be moving in the summer

22 Apr 2013 04:27:33
My sister is dating hoopers agent and she told me hooper is going to snub Celtic with his remaining 12 month contract In favour to join norwich in the summer. The fee will now be much lower than the January 9 million bid in January and they may be forced to accept as little a 500,000.

Yes because an agent is really going to miss out on a big money move that would net him a percentage.

I doubt it'l be that low but probably around the the 2.5m mark

22 Apr 2013 10:20:26
pathetic rumour tell your sister she needs a new fella

Several Southampton players linked with moves to Reading as Nigel Adkins starts preparing for life in the Championship. Fringe players like Guly do Prado, Richard Chaplow (free agent) and Billy Sharp all wanted to fire Reading back to the Premier League.

Chappers and Billy yes and good luck to them, as for Guly he'd be hard pressed to fire a safety match.

I'd take Sharp but not Guly or Chaplow.

Chappers was a really good player for saints in the championship. You don't want guly, he has 1 good game in 10

Chaplow unti he got injuried was our best player first half of season in championship we realy missed him on right at the time he would be class for any championship side

Chaplow signed a 1 year extension not released by the club in summer 2012 so he will not be free

Chaplowis a free

Guly is just a slightly worse Jimmy Kebe! He performs 1 game in 10 rather than Jimmy's 1 in 5!

23 Apr 2013 14:07:33
billy sharp hates nigel adkins for how he treated him loaning him out without giving him a chance in the PL. sharp would have a better chance by signing for forest permenantly

23 Apr 2013 15:00:44
No way sharp to reading

Sharp didn't hate Adkins, the dispute was with Cortese, Adkins openly said he was regretful of Sharp's departure on loan. Chaplow is not free he is on a deal until summer 2014, although he could well be shipped out for free by mutual consent I think he will be more likely to be sold to fetch some funds.
