Liverpool's top targets this January are Daniel Sturridge, Shane Long and Angelo Ogbonna while they are actively looking to offload Stewart Downing,Doni,Joe Cole,Danny Wilson and Dani Pacheco this January.
Its been common knowledge that liverpool are looking at sturridge but now that rafa has taken over at chelsea he may feature for cfc alot more
Shane Long ,you have not got enough money in Liverpool to buy him chap,have you not heard of Jeremy Peace the chairman,he sucks wells dry mate,he would bankrupt you with the fee.
Why would Shane Long go to Liverpool?

If Liverpools owners wouldn't stump up the cash for Clint Dempsey then I can't see them paying the inflated fees in the January transfer window. As for selling players, they'd have to take a huge loss and then still hope the players would drop their wages! No doubt that Downing and Cole could do a job somewhere else but their wages are too high for most clubs

Bournemouth striker Wes Thomas has signed for Blackpool on loan with deal to become permanent on Jan 3rd after becoming disillusioned at his lack of playing time at Bournemouth despite a successful loan spell at Portsmouth earlier this season

There is a reason he never played much for Bournemouth and that is because he is not very good {Ed003's Note - Apparently he looked ok in his brief cameo yesterday}
He played well at Portsmouth. 3 goals in 6 appearances and was full of pace and skill.
Under the old management at afcb wes thomas was looked at as a loan striker used to hold the ball till other players caught up with play. This role was not good for him and made him inaffective, having loan to portsmouth he was playing with both strikers, which was beneficial to both strike partner. Appleton will probabally get the best out of wes thomas if he plays another striker. The problem at bournemouth is wes thomas does not play well with the other strikers at the club or has not had an opportunity to play with the crooked players like sherringham and DeMouge. With Barnard still at the club and return of pitman, these opportunities would now be limited - tubbs, McQuoid and grabben would be first choice to partner pitman, wes thomas would not get a look in.

Josh Wakefield has joined Dagenham and Redbridge on loan.
Other departures from Bournemouth's ever-growing squad will be;
Wes Thomas, who has already been subject of a rejected six-figure bid from Rotherham and former manager, Steve Evans. It is believed that Michael Appleton is looking to bring him in to Blackpool after he had the striker at Portsmouth last month.
Mark Molesley is also departing on loan, with League 2 Plymouth the favourites to get his signature.
Fletcher could be sacked tommorow after another defeat
This run of defeats can't continue like this so fletcher has to be sacked because Peter Reid had 1 of these spells and he was sacked so I feel the same to be done with fletcher
Another game another defeat and again fletch says "we played well but didnt get the breaks......" its nearly christmas Mr Brent and we are no nearer to promotion out of this league. Its time to bring in a manager solid enough to make the squad push on along with three signings of quallity to get the team moving.
Fletcher keeps on saying, we were unlucky, he needs to leave and we need a proper manager and proper players not from championship reserve teams
I was at homepark to watch argyle dominate a poor chesterfield team and yet we lost. This cant go on. Fletcher is a great guy, noble and optimistic but really does not have the qualities or charsima to develop this team. The signings he has made are poor, except Macca.

I was at home park too, and i saw horrendous conditions ,i also saw chesterfield try to play football, we were kick and hope..tell it as it was...
Chesterfield are now playing football on the floor under cook, plymouth are kick and hope merchants,, lowry on the bench,,lol,,he,s really going to change the game,,lol.
Patience is a virtue, fans are so impatient nowadays, we've just been knocked down to rock bottom, stop expecting change over 1 season.
Chesterfield were probably the worst visiting team i have seen this season. We created loads but couldn't score. Chesterfield created one clear chance against our poor defense and scored.
Thats exactly the same reports other home teams say about plymouth , aint it funny...
To the person who says football is about patience and that were rock bottom, were not rock bottom but if things dont change we wnt even be in league football that rock bottom

Portsmouth FC have made a double loan swoop for striker Jake Jervis and goalkeeper Alex Cisak from Birmingham and Oldham, respectively
Cisak is an emergency loan for a month and has a 24 hr recall as well. He's on our bench due to us having 2 good keepers. Thanks for giving him games and keeping him fresh for us and better than playing reserve games.

Portsmouth are looking to seal a loan move for striker Chris Maguire from Sheffield Wednesday the player was previously at the club last season.
Maguire is currently out injured for another 4 weeks. He was due to come to Pompey 2 weeks ago before he got injured & we signed Paul Benson instead. Deal might be rekindled in January window. PUP.

Portsmouth are looking at bringing in Chris Iwelumo Chris Iwelumo on loan from Watford. The deal is subject to approval from the football league.

Pompey are set to let Liam Walker leave the club on loan with Aldershot looking his likely destination. It was previously thought Walker was going to saty at the club following Guy Whittingham taking over as manager.
Walker has been upset with his lack of matches and wants to go out on loan to get games.
He won't be moving, he's training with Pompey today and he could be starting at the weekend against Coventry.

Portsmouth are set to sign Sheffield Wednesday striker Chris Maguire on loan. Maguire was on loan at Fratton Park last season and proved very popular with the fans.
Pompey are also in talks with Nicky Weaver from Sheffield Wednesday. Weaver is in talks about ripping up his contract as he hasn't been given a squad number for the season. He would move to Fratton Park on a free transfer.
This would be great but they have just signed Jake Jervis from Birmingham, and would now need to offload somebody else to fit the 20 man squad limit

This is too much for us as Wilson was bought from rangers for 1 million and has improved massively so he should be around 3 million or more! So I don't think we have enough for that {Ed003's Note - they paid a lot more than 1m for him}
In football you are only worth what someone will pay for you, if Liverpool want to move him out they wont get what they paid for him back.
He has probably improved as a player, but his value is down as he cant get a game and clearly isnt viewed as a long term prospect, if he was they wouldnt sell him.
They paid 2 mil rising to 5 on app to rangers but think it mite be voided now so i think they paid 2 mil

Portsmouth set to seal the loan of Alex Cisak from Oldham before the deadline at 5PM. They need a goalkeeper as Mikkel Andersen has gone back to Reading.
Also coming in will be a striker from the Championship. Portsmouth are in talks with Blackpool over Kevin Phillips, while also a deal to bring Wes Fletcher to the club from Burnley is also on standby.
Dont think so. With Matty Phillips and GTF injured Blackpool are short of strikers and will keep KP even though he is not showing the form he had last year. Hasnt been given much of a chance mind you and has been injured himself.
