Martin Allen now favorite for the blades job with the bookies

24 Apr 2013 10:32:27
Its true he's favourite, but that's just the bookies creating a market. He's happy at Gills especially as Scally gave him a job when no-one else would employ him, and he wants to get the club to the championship.

Rochdale's striker Bobby Grant is a target for league 1 Shrewsbury.

Shrewsbury want to re sign david Edwards and mike jones

23 Apr 2013 20:45:28
Rumour from the new meadow this evening was that Marvin Morgan has played his last game for Shrewsbury Town. He has not been offered a new contract by Graham Turner.

Ed, is it true that Shrewsbury could be getting a new owner with more money? {Ed003's Note - First I've heard about it.}

23 Apr 2013 20:26:40
casillas to leave madrid

Most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

23 Apr 2013 20:18:48
Flinders, James, Baldwin and Hartley all being released due to not being good enough. All being touted by Spennymoor Town to join the reserves. John Hughes to be sacked and be replaced by Barron Humphreys and Howard. Ritchie Humphreys to sign 10 year contract as "he feels he has it in him"

They are all staying at hartlepool!

23 Apr 2013 20:16:02
Stoke are set for a summer "makeover" with several faces expected to depart due to a poor season for the potters and magerial change leaving pulis' favourites sweating. Players expected to leave are:
Kenwyne Jones to Swansea
Wilson Palacios: Possibly released
Jermaine Pennant: Released
Glenn Whelan and Walters because of the imminent departure of Pulis.
Ins:
Charles N'zogbia 3million
Jolean Lescott 3million
And a top striker for around 10million

Lescott back to everton

Palacios will probably go to QPR

How is the new manager then? The person that decided on signing those players?

Kenwyne jones to swansea. no chance

Hopefully Jones will go to Swansea it'll stop him coming to Cardiff. Stokebluebird

23 Apr 2013 19:54:04
Swansea and West Brom chasing Anderlecht forward Matias Suarez.

23 Apr 2013 19:29:17
York City players Paddy McLaughlin, Lanre Oyebanjo and Jason Walker have all been offered contracts by other clubs. Oyebanjo and McLaughlin could be set to move to Gillingham and Carlisle respectively whilst Walker is said to be wanted by Bradford City.

Patrick McLaughlin is under 23 therefore if york offer him a contract then the clubs interested in signing him will have to pay a compensation fee.

McLaughlin was on Bradfords Radar along with Ashley Chambers at xmas time

I think he would rather move to league 1 Carlisle than Bradford

23 Apr 2013 19:24:42
Welsh midfielder Hal Robson Kanu is a target for Cardiff.

23 Apr 2013 19:11:23
it is rumoured that reading are one of three clubs tracking zurab khizanishvili

Source- tv. Com

He still exists?!

True but pointless why are we buying back a player we had 3 years ago?

23 Apr 2013 18:22:34
Tranmere Left back Zoumana Bakayogo will leave on a free in the summer to join a championship outfit. the team he is going to join will be either Sheff Wed, Blackpool, Peterborough, Donny (if they go up) and barnsley (if they stay up).

Tranmere manager Ronnie moore will also try and sign Hartlepool Captain Andy monkhouse on a free in the summer but a number of league one clubs are after the experienced midfielders signature.

He will join nffc

Owl here hope its a good game saturday, may the best team win myself I reckon we will play for draw. we fetching 5000 so it should be good day

23 Apr 2013 18:14:30
Millwall winger Chris Taylor is set to be re-united with life long club Oldham Athletic in the summer when the wingers contract runs out this summer. Taylor has reinstated his desire to head back up north, with Rochdale and Tranmere linked but stating his desire to re-join his boyhood team.

Shame been good for us, anyone heard anything re pre season tour?

Nothing to do with this Chris Taylor thread. but can Kenny please hurry up and get his Jackett on and 'PLEASE' GO!!

I would be 'surprised' to say the least if taylor left for oldham?, why/what for? if a bigger club up north wanted him then maybe, that's if this post is 'true'?

Can't see this at all some funny rumours on here as always.

Sure he'll stay at Millwall rather than move down a league.

He was ambitious enough to leave & test himself in a higher division. Why, after doing well there, would he drop back down after one season? That said, hope it's true ;)

Why would he drop down a league? Ever thought Millwall might be playing in league 1 next season?
He's probably weighing up options. Hope you stay up. Relegation is not a nice feeling and we felt it alright only until recently

I'm an Oldham fan, this is rubbish, he's being offered a 2 year deal by you lot apparently!

23 Apr 2013 18:36:52
fulham and wba are tracking tom huddlestone

Very overrated & lethargic player!

23 Apr 2013 18:35:20
wba haven't given up hope of keeping lukaku another season after another set of positive discussions.
danny simpsonis set to sign on a free and its been mouted that benayoun has held talks over a free transfer too.

Chris Solly isn't out of contract in the summer.

He is .

Hoyte won't leave this summer!

Derby are thought to be watching Sunderland midfielder David Vaughan.

Steve Nicholason has confirmed David Vaughan is not a target

This one was quelled by someone close to the club. Local sports correspondent who talks to the club on a regular basis.

Nice for DCFC to be linked with some quality players though.

Won't get near him

23 Apr 2013 16:47:19
Preston North End are looking at

Amine Linganzi
Damien Reeves
Naki Wells
Zoumana Bakayogo
Lee Novak
Keith Southern
Niel Danns

And before people start saying Preston don't have money Trevor Hemming the owner has written of the clubs debt and are now debt free and turned a profit for the 1st half of the season which stands the club in good stead for paying for players in acordance with the fair play rules the future looks very bright for the club and will look to be a real threat in league 1 next season the club aren't looking to make major changes over the summer as Simon Grayson has seen what his current set of players are able to do so ther will be about 5 or 6 out and the same coming in.

Sorry, but the £32m debt still stands and PNE require another £3.7m from Trevor just to cover the bills for the 2012/2013 season.

Now you may be looking at players. but being able to afford them is another thing!

But I do love the Keith Southern rumour

And the 3.7 mil your talking about was a wind up

Wells is being linked with the Dingles

If £32m is owed to Trevor Hemmings at least it shows he is willing to put money into PNE, unlike your beloved Owen Oyston who sticks all the profit into his own bank account.

24 Apr 2013 16:35:19
simon Grayson has money to spend he as admitted he could of gone to the loan market but wanted to give the players a chance now he as seen them he knows who is staying and who is out the door, Grayson as said he wants up to six new faces and will bring in players he as worked with before and will try to bring these players to preston so let's stop this preston don't have money they do but won't waste it like westley did

How did Westley waste money?

He only spent £160k for the whole team. and that went on Beavon.

Procter, Cummins.

He spent more than that on Beavon and fees were also paid for Procter, Robertson and Cummins.

25 Apr 2013 09:53:12
he wasted money on players wages like proctor, beardsley, byrom, moose that is how he wasted money the players are not good enough everyone could see but not westley and we paid 250k for beavon

23 Apr 2013 16:31:48
ibra to juve, rooney to psg, chicarito to mu, falcao to man city, dzeko to dortmund, cavani to chelsea, gotze to bayern, micah richard to milan, jermain lens to everton, isco to barcelona, schurrle to chelsea, malouda to marseille, rio mavuba to chelsea, chedjou to barcelona, moutinho to spurs, valdez to arsenal, modric to spurs, remy to newcastle, ramsey to cardiff, kalou to southampton, di natale to cardiff, alderweireld to liverpool, benat to swansea, guiza to southampton

Mystic meg this guys after your job

Di Nataile to Cardiff don't make me laugh utter rubbish!

Di natale to cardiff I don't think so

Omg haha antonio di natale to cardiff. my sides are splitting

Chicarito at united you don't say lol and Guiza love the guy hope so

Ramsay won't be leaving Arsenal as he is now part of their midfield.

And Guiza is 32!

Yes agree rubish

Kalou to Southampton? Haha. Made me laugh. What a load of tosh.

23 Apr 2013 16:04:56
West Brom looking to link up Matias Suarez and Lukaku next season if Chelsea agree to another loan

23 Apr 2013 16:00:16
Swansea INS:
Alberto Botia-3m
Jonathan de Guzamn-5m
Alejandro Pozuelo-3m
Jose Canas-Free
Romelu Lukaku-Season long loan
Iago Aspas-6m
Kasper Schmiechel-3m
Andros Townsend-4.5m

Swansea OUTS:
Michel Vorm-Barcelona-12m
Ashley Williams-Liverpool-12m
Michu-Atletico Madrid-24m

I can see most of this happening. Can't see lukaku happening or michu. I think £4. 5 m could be spent better else where rather than on Townsend. Unfortunately I've got a bad feeling about williams and vorm.

All seem correct apart from the Michu one, can't see him leaving.

If all this comes off it would appear that Liverpool haven't learned from the Carroll/Downing transfers. £12mil for Williams is just too much. £8mil would be a fair price for both clubs.
Schmiechel for £3mil would be a great bit of business but I doubt he'd be a good enough replacement for Vorm. Schmiechel would be better off going to a promoted team as he would actually stand a chance of playing, he might not have to move at all if Leicester go up!

Personally, I hope ALL the outs happen (but doubtful). 24m for Michu plus an additional 24m for the other two, that's a cool 48m and the supposed INS are only 24.5m - bugger it, why get Lukaku on loan? Buy him with the change!

If Williams does go, I really hope for his sake (and Rodgers's) that he doesn't contract the 'ex-swans flop' virus like most have!

No chance of 3 leaving swans, michu is going nowhere. pozueo will not cost 3m, boita is more like 5m and can't see swans going for townsend especially when 4.5m could buy better

23 Apr 2013 15:30:46
Plymouth argyle keeper Jake Cole is rumoured to have agreed to join league one side Walsall on a two year deal when his current contract at the argyle expires in the summer, after turning down a new contract at Home Park.

Omnisor Bhasera is also being linked with the midlands club

How can cole turn down a new deal when argyle haven't offered anyone a contract yet?

Surely up the A38? This won't happen!

23 Apr 2013 14:17:43
Ipswich goalkeeper Jason Brown is being linked with a summer move to league one side Walsall

Walsall do not have a first team goalkeeper at the club who will be with the midlands based outfit next season Current number one Sam Johnstone is on loan from man united after Grof and Walker both left the club earlier in the season. The back up keeper is a youth team keeper.

23 Apr 2013 16:45:37
Bristol City will try and offload Neil Kilkenny in the summer
due to his large wage bill and his poor performances, suspected suitors are Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich respectively.

24 Apr 2013 09:50:49
Kilkenny is a player I can see wanting to leave, and City wanting to sell, leading me to the assumption he wiont be at City next year.

Wouldn't want him at Wednesday. Too much of a journeyman & we have far better younger talent than him

This will be a big loss. what is sod thinking?
#losttheplot

Killkenny a great loss? You must be joking!

The only respect that Neil Kilkenny leaving can be seen as a big loss is the £10k per week we would be losing of the wage bill.

A prime example of the problem with our club, earning more than he is worth.

Too many taking out more than they are able to put in.

23 Apr 2013 16:22:03
Dortmund to make an offer for Samir Nasri to replace Mario Gotze.

23 Apr 2013 15:49:37
Andy Tilson is being tipped to leave Exeter City at the end of the season to join John Ward and Marcus Stewart at Bristol Rovers.
He will leave the Gracians before the summer to join up as assistant manager to John Ward. He will sign a 2 year deal with the Pirates.

Welcome back at bristol rovers with open arms three people in the coaching set up that get the club! If we can get Jamie back too this could be a decent year!

Nick Higgs fancies himself as director of football when John Ward steps aside so with a trio of him, Stewart and Tillson in charge the Conference is beckoning.

I heard Edgar-Davids has been thrown in the hat!

watch this space.

23 Apr 2013 15:34:30
Liverpool are interested in purchasing former Swansea and current Man C player Scott Sinclair. Brendan would like to capture his former player whilst at the Swans. City could let him leave on the cheap as little as £5m

You will never walk alone. because us Jack's are right there with you!

If this has any truth, Liverpool need to ask why they ever employed Rodgers and we need to be grateful they took him off our hands or we'd be battling relegation this year!

Hardly 'on the cheap'. They only paid just over £5 million for Sinclair if all the add ons come through.

Don't think he is even worth £ 5mil - totally out of form. Sinclair rates money over play time. Satisfied with the bench. Who needs such a player?

Not many swans fans were disappointed to see him go, especially for £5m. Most would say dyer was the better of the two.

Regards to the post above yes. but swans strike force is pretty bad at the moment

Sinclair needs to reestablish himself in the Prem. Liverpool don't have time right now to help him refind his form as they need to give Sterling more games and add an experienced winger to their team.
He'd be better of going to a mid-table club to get more game time. Norwich or Southampton maybe.

Swans strike force is diabolical at the moment. Who have we got? Moore (hardly world class, more an impact player "occasionally"), Schechter (is he still with us? oh yes, I can see him there at the back of the que) and Michu (who's looking ever so slightly lethargic right now and the most heavily marked man on the pitch).

Us Jack's definitely need some class strikers who can work with and be complimented by the team. Donnelly does well for the reserves (or so I read) but when is he going to be strong enough for first team contention?

p. s. EVERY Swans fan will say Dyer is TWICE AS GOOD as Sinclair and he won't be welcomed back with open arms, he'll have to be on fire and pledge his allegiance to us just in hope of re-gaining ANY respect again. Hope Miss Flannagan was worth it Scott?! Because she's done your career wonders!

Swansea are looking to strenghten the squad, not to weaken the squad by taking Sinclair back. There are far better alternatives out there - even for less money. Fact.

23 Apr 2013 14:53:44
Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur all tracking Peterborough ace Dwight Gayle, but the youngster is valued at over 5million by Peterborough, which is a fair amount for a young player of his talent. Celtic could also bid if they lose Gary Hooper

He is nothing special!

Are you mad? he's brilliant!

23 Apr 2013 12:58:05
Swindon have had three championship clubs watching Wes fodderingham, although it is Aiden Flint who has attracted their attention, Swindon are set to sign him with an extra year option on his contract and then sell him in the summer.

Simon Ferry is going to Bournemouth along with Paul caddis, Swindon will get 800k for the pair of them with Tubbs going the other way for a season loan.

Tubbs is going to Rotherham to join up with his old pal Evans

Doubt they will sell us both of them due to the fact Eddie said he doesn't want to make drastic changes. Tubbs will probably be sold if anything.

Ferry is out of contract so will not cost a penny & Swindon want 350,000 for caddis.

25 Apr 2013 10:59:51
Ferry isn't on a free, the club have an option on him for another year just like Flint.

23 Apr 2013 13:48:05
Martin Jol has told Enoh that unless his club ( Ajax) stop inflating his price tag he will miss out on a move to the west London club. Jol is looking to get his business done early this summer after getting stung in the window last year losing Dembele & Dempsey in quick succession. Huddlestone of Spurs, Clement Chantome of PSG & Migu Veloso are his prime CM targets. Also don't rule out Fulham with a move for QPR's taraabt, Jol gave him hid big break & the pair get along very very well, Fulham are looking at a deal to bring the player to craven cottage involving an initial loan deal with a view to a perm transfer, QPR will get Mesca & Trotta on season long loans in return. Amorebieta will complete his move to the cottagers in the next fort night or so.

Simmo AFC

25 Apr 2013 00:00:46
Don't think Taarabt is good enough and he's certainly not fit enough - needs to loose a stone.

23 Apr 2013 12:15:16
Luke Freeman to Bradford

23 Apr 2013 12:15:02
Luke James to Boro

Hope so, young player with lots of potential

23 Apr 2013 12:14:17
Cardiff will sign either Darren Bent or Evian striker Yannick Sagbo, aswell as Gry Mckay Steven. Billy Sharp is going to Leeds for £1. 75m.

Sagbo a poss, Huddlestone wants 1st team football along side Williams of Palace 10 Million bumper bundle

Sharp to leeds hope so

23 Apr 2013 12:11:20
Romain Vincelots Agent is talking with Gillingham Rotherham United and Leyton Orient looking to secure a long term contract for next season and onward.

23 Apr 2013 15:13:53
doubt he's interesting Gills. We didn't renew his loan or go for him in the transfer window

Hope we can keep him. been fantastic at O's since we signed him.

If Orient want to progress, they have to keep players like him.

23 Apr 2013 12:55:42
Paul Ince is set to make bids on the following players in the summer;

Marlon Pack - Cheltenham, CM
Tom Pope - Port Vale, ST
Aden Flint - Swindon, CB
Jack Bidwell - Everton, LB
Harry Forrester - Brentford, LM/ST

Tom pope would cost a load

Just been on tv that Pope will be staying at Port Vale next season.

23 Apr 2013 12:07:41
Derby to sign the following in the summer.

LB - Forysth (Watford)
CB - Baptiste (Blackpool)
CM - Wellens (Leicester) or Chaplow (Southampton)
Winger - Maghoma (Burton) or Taylor (Shrewsbury) or Humphrey (Motherwell)
ST - Martin (Norwich)
ST - Waghorn (Leicester) or Jackson (Norwich)

We will also be looking at Marlon Pack (Cheltenham) and Will Grigg (Walsall) for our U21's team but they will be in and around the matchday squad most weeks along with Michael Jacobs depending on injuries.

Most of the above mentioned players are on free's or would cost a small price mainly due to age (Taylor, Pack and Grigg) like Michael Jacobs did last summer from Northampton.

Tyson, Robinson, Bailey, Doyle, Naylor, Roberts, Davies and a keeper or 2 will be sold/released. Ball will be loaned out again maybe as part of a deal to bring someone in like Grigg or Pack.

Will Hughes will be sold but back on a season loan and Brayford will only be sold if a premier league club come in for him but he would rather stay at Derby or join his boyhood club Stoke.

Can't argue much with that but:

Will Grigg would be more than Under 21s, in fact I would put him in the same bracket as the other striker besides Martin. So Grigg, Jackson or Waghorn.

Will Hughes will not be sold, simples.

Other than that it is very realistic.

24 Apr 2013 14:42:21
nothing new in there though, only a collection of other rumours put together!

Why would baps leave for another championship team

23 Apr 2013 12:32:13
Wade Elliot to sign 2 year deal at end of season

For whom?

24 Apr 2013 13:58:00
Birmingham right?

23 Apr 2013 11:31:14
Chesterfield have had talks with striker Damien Reeves of Altringham. The 28 year old has scored 36 times this season and 44 times 2011 2012 he is a part timer there and would relish a move to full time.

In contract for another year, star player for altringham and other proclubs are interested, don't think CFC will buy anyone this year, and we've already got one star striker too

No truth in this at all

23 Apr 2013 11:15:11
Swansea City are leading the race to sign Galatasary striker Burak Yilmaz as Laudrup was his boyhood hero.

Don't see this one, don't see him swapping the money that he is earning in Turkey for SCFC wages

23 Apr 2013 11:11:54
Accrington midfielder Amine Linganzi Koumba set to join Paul Cook at Chesterfield

Is he any good never herd of him

23 Apr 2013 09:51:40
Watford are taking an interest in left midfielder Daniel "Dani" Gonzlez Bentez who is currently on loan to Granada CF from Udinese Calcio.

23 Apr 2013 11:55:55
Bradford City are set to make a summer move for Sheffield Wednesday striker Chris Maguire, the striker has only been there for 1 year but is a fringe player at the club

Maguire won't be signing for a Div2 club. Donny is the rumour I heard.

23 Apr 2013 11:55:01
Mansfield town are set to be making a move for Alan Connell from Bradford city, the forward is unsettled at the gametime he is getting

Wouldn't surprise me but led to believe Burton and Plymouth have enquired about him

If mansfield give Green to city then they can have him.

23 Apr 2013 11:51:59
Cardiff City are interested in signing former player James Collins from the hammers. Cardiff want to build their defence up as much as possible for life in the Prem. The fee could be around the £5-6 M mark

Believable right up until the fee!

I doubt the hammers would sell him. His form this season has been excellent, I reckon Big Sam will want him to stay

23 Apr 2013 09:16:01
Sean McConville will be re-joining Accrington Stanley for the 2013-2014 season

23 Apr 2013 00:58:49
Hartlepool United manager John Hughes has been told by a number of players they will be leaving in the summer after deciding not to extend their contracts at the club.
Young defender Jack Baldwin is shock to be released after his agent notified the 19 year old of interest from the Championship and League 1. He will be released as a free agent along with Antony Sweeney, Evan Horwood, James Poole, Neil Austin and Sam Collins
Captain Peter Hartley is also expected to leave after declaring he still wants to play League 1 football.
First choice stopper Scott Flinders will also leave after saying he isn't keen on League 2 football. The former Barnsley player is set to have a pre season trial with Charlton Athletic.
Experienced midfielder Andy Monkhouse is also expected to leave after having talks with League 1 club Tranmere Rovers.
United manager John Hughes is expected to want 10 new faces to compete, unlike other relegated League 1 club Bury who are set to lose nobody on a free transfer.

Baldwin going nowhere on a free if he leaves it will be for a fee

Hopefully boro will take advantage of this; Baldwin seems to have a lot of potential

Talented Contracted players under 23 do not get released for free

flinders still under contract

monkhouse considered past his sell by date by the crowd so seen as moving on
please only post logical things.

24 Apr 2013 16:19:14
Charlton have two good keepers and a young prospect waiting in the wings, not sure why another keeper would be brought in.

Baldwin is not out of contract this summer. Sweeney is also still under contract. Flinders might leave but Pools will demand a fee as he is under contract.

All the others you mentioend are out of contract but Hartlepool have the option of adding another year to their deals. so if any players leave it will be the clubs decision. Not the players.

The above is ALL FACT and can be found on the Hartlepool official site.

23 Apr 2013 01:10:56
Will town sign beckford on a permanent deal in tha next transfer!

If he takes a pay cut and we stay up why not

If you can keep him and Vaughan fit there a great partnership

24 Apr 2013 16:20:18
Aldershot town have been trying to sign him for ages.

23 Apr 2013 01:03:22
Portsmouth caretaker Guy Whittingham will be given the freedom buy the supporting owners to release and offer contracts to whoever he wants before he makes new signings.
The only casualty will be Austrian Johannes Ertl. Ertl originally held talks with the manager this week but talks feel through. The former Sturm Graz player is to be made a free agent once July comes.
Whittingham is keen on signing Crawley defender Shaun Cooper for a nominal fee but have been told they cannot afford Stevenage attacker Patrick Agyemang on a permanent contract.

No : (

Ertl and Agyemang will both be there next season and it's likely Cooper will be too. Only players from current set that may not be signed for next season are the goalkeeper Smith and forward Akinde.

Release and sign who he wants eh? That's the spirit. Great way to control the finances of a stricken club. :/

Agyemang's contract is up at the end of the season only signed a one year deal with Stevenage I believe. If they are willing to let him go on loan to Pompey then I'm sure that he's not needed as i'm sure they will have to cut players to sign targets just like most in the lower leagues

23 Apr 2013 00:58:46
Akos Buzsaki set to re-join Portsmouth for the 2013/2014 League Two Tour.
The midfielder will play as number 10 of the team.

No he won't the reason he left us in league 1 was because he wanted 2 play at a higher level!

Would be happy with that signing but not sure Pompey could meet his wage demands.

23 Apr 2013 15:57:29
He will be going back to QPR to help them back to the premiership

25 Apr 2013 00:03:39
. or to try and keep them in the Championship

23 Apr 2013 00:41:39
Bury manager Kevin Blackwell isn't expecting to lose any of the out of contract players on a free and expects them all to sign new deals before pre season.

How can we odffer new deals are you evan a bury fan were in deep financial trouble

23 Apr 2013 00:36:57
Derby are after Six players for the first team. There will be trials and young players brought in for the u21s.

Left back-Cunningham-Bristol City
Centre Back-Alex Baptiste-Blackpool
Striker-Sam Baldock-Bristol City
Right Winger-Jon Taylor-Shrewsbury
A defensive midfielder-?
Striker-Will Grigg-Walsall

Chris Martin and Craig forsyth to join in the summer as long as they are small fees.

Jed Wallace and Martyn Waghorn could also join if competition is low.

Sam123

Forsyth and Cunnnigham, not both will be signing.

Will Grigg there will be big competition

I don't think we are getting a defensive midfield player.

Waghorn I think will come to derby slightly under the radar so to speak, Nigel has been a massive admirer of Martyn for a number of years and on a free we would be foolish to not have a look, injuries could put clubs off but when he has had a run of games at lcfc he has done well.

Argyles player of the season Onismor Bhasera is set to leave home park to join league one side Walsall

The left sided player was close to joining the midlands outfit in January but a fee could not be agreed, with Bhaseras current contract expiring this summer it would mean he would be able to join Walsall as a free agent
