To the nutter who said Damir Mikulic is going to Hajduk Split is 100% wrong. He will move to either Sydney FC or to Dinamo Zagreb. Also Ashley Cole will definitely move to Chelsea. He is set to have a medical this week. I am good friends with his manager Chris Finch

NUFC

To the Chelsea fan who repeated WAYNE BRIDGE IS NOT LEAVING CHELSEA to the Newcastle fans, and also claimed Ashley Cole will be signing for them; am sorry to say but you are wrong. If Ashley Cole does sign for Chelsea later this week which I do see happening Wayne Bridge will indeed be joining Newcastle, this deal has already been arranged from when Newcastle signed Damien Duff, 5million Pounds is cheap for a player worth 8-10million but Newcastle also arranged to buy Wayne Bridge as Chelsea were confident that they would sign Ashely Cole that week, this is way Newcastle got Damien Duff at half price.

Also Jean Alain Boumsong should complete a £4.5m transfer to Juventus later this week.

Obafemi Martins should sign this week for a fee of £10m to partner Shola Ameobi. They will not be signing two strikers.

Man U News:

Hargreaves will not be coming to old Trafford because Bayern are reluctant to sell him. Expect SAF to sign Torres and Toni before the transfer window closes. Come on United

Lets all get some things straight. Ashley Cole will move to Chelsea, but not in exchange for William Gallas because, as always, Wenger is showing faith in his youngsters Senderos and Djourou and we already have One of the best centre backs in the world, in Kolo Toure. Jose Antonio Reyes will not move to Real Madrid, not this year anyway. If you listen to what Arsene Wenger says in his post match interviews, you would know this. The only possible move would be for Fernando Gago. The story about Jonothan Woodgate is also rubbish. The fact that he is injured most of the time should put Wenger off, plus Woodgate has, as we all know, had a lot of problems off the field.

Team for this year:

Lehmann/Almunia

Eboue/Lauren

Toure/Cygan

Senderos/Djourou

Clichy/Hoyte

Ljungberg/Reyes

Fabregas/Flamini

Gilberto/Diaby

Rosicky/Hleb

Henry

Adebayor/RVP/Theo

GOONER over and out.

NUFC!

Despite speculation linking Wayne Bridge with a move to Newcastle, the deal will not take place regardless of the Ashley Cole situation. After a good opening game for Bridge, the chelsea manager will give him a chance in the side, even if Ashley Cole does sign which is unlikely due to Arsenals reluctancy to sell him to Chelsea. However Bridge may move to Newcastle in the January transfer window depending on how the first half of the season has panned out for him.

Martins will be joinin Newcastle for a fee of around 10 million, Martins is quoted to have said the deal is already 80% through and so this will be announced in the next few days.

Martins will be the only other play brought in before the transfer window closes, but be sure that Glenn Roeder will sign 2/3 defenders in the January transfer window along with another striker depending on how Ameobi is performing and the current fitness of Michael Owen!

Sami Hyypia will end his Liverpool career after the end of next season, meaning this season is his penultimate. In May 2008, International side Finland will face Liverpool FC and Hyypia will play for each side, either side of half time in the Sami Hyypia testimonia. Hyypia may not leave football completely, but the match will mark the official end of Hyypia's Liverpool and Finland career.

Reading will complete 2 more signings before the transfer window closes.

Coppell will add Matty Kilgallon from leeds for £3m and Marvin Elliott from Millwall for £400k.

######## MANCHESTER UNITED NEWS #######

Manchester United will not buy another striker in this transfer window, but will wait until jan to see if the likes of saha/smith/rossi/ole are shooting well

Torres is sir alex's number 1 choice

And with hargreaves continueing to request a transfer, Bayern Munich my well just give in

Also they may be ready to pounce on a cheap vicente deal

Eduardo Da Silva will sign for Reading on Friday after agreeing a three-year-deal with the Royals.

The fee agreed for the Croatian international is around £3.2m rising to £3.7m.

Alexander Kerzhakov is a target for Newcastle and now Chelsea, as Roman Abramovic has decided that he wants to add the Russian goalscorer to Chelsea. Mourinho would be keen to add another striker after losing Crespo, Cole and Duff and Abramovic may pust for a deal to go through, before Newcastle try to persue a deal.

=v1=

With Dave Kitson out injured and Shane Long leaving on loan to Sheffield Wednesday, Reading are looking to add Watford striker Darius Henderson and Steve Coppell has made a £3m bid for him

If I'm to believe what I hear, several players are looking for a quick escape route out of Fulham before the transfer window closes next week. Luis Boa Morte is wanted by Tottenham, Collins John is a target for Newcastle, Steed Malbranque is desperate to leave the club and Papa Bouba Diop is eager for a move to La Liga. It could be a long week for Chris Coleman, who is keen to hold on to his key players and fend off interest from interested parties, especially Premiership rivals. Coleman is already looking to add to his squad, despite bringing in Gabriel Zakuani, Bjorn Runstrom, Franck Queudrue and Jimmy Bullard this summer, but if he loses several key players then he will be frantically working round the clock to bolster his squad.

Manchester City In Bid for Thomert

Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce has made a shock £2.5million bid to sign French star Olivier Thomert as the answer to his left-wing prayers.

City chief executive Alistair Mackintosh has tabled an offer of £2m plus Antoine Sibierski for the highly-rated Lens player, who wants to move to the Premiership.

Thomert has been a City target before, but his £6m price-tag proved too high. However, Thomert has since clashed with the Lens coaching staff and now plans to leave immediately after being left on the bench at the weekend.

Pearce is looking for a genuine left winger after letting Kiki Musampa and Albert Riera go at the end of last season. Claudio Reyna was forced to play out of position against Chelsea on Sunday.

He would like to bring in Thomert in time for a debut against Arsenal on Saturday.

Lens are interested in Sibierski, but City may have to increase their offer to push the deal through. They have some money to spend, but are working within a tight budget.

The sale of Sylvain Distin would help to raise more funds, with City waiting on the defender to make up his mind about a move to Middlesbrough.

Manchester United will NOT get Owen Hargreaves this summer. Bayern Munich refuse to sell the man whom they see as a replacement for Michael Ballack. With Ballack gone, the club feels they have already lost enough midfielders to the "free spending" Premiership clubs. Look for United to try and rekindle a deal for Marcos Senna, or move Alan Smith back to the midfield and put in a bid for Carlos Tevez, who now seems determined to leave Corinthians.

real madrid are listening to offers for ronaldo from ac milan and inter milan

david moyes will complete the signing of steed malbranque next week with simon davies joining fulham also everton will also bid for aston villa midfielder gareth barry and offer villa kevin kilbane and 4million.also david moyes will sign theo walcott on loan for the rest of the season.

MUFC news Fergie will move for Torres at the very end of the transfer window, as this will minimize any involvement from Chelsea. Expect the fee to be around £25 Million.

Arsenal News

Some peoiple on here obviously do not know what they are talking about. It is not an exclusive if we all have read it before. And dont start talking about Mavuba just as i say him!

Real Rumours. .A.Hole will leave for Chel$ki(FACT). I dont know how much of who we get in return. I would think £10 mil + Gallas? But this will not happen if we do sign Illiasu. We would then have Kolo, Senderos, Djourou, Gallas and Illiasu. What are we? Chel$ki?! This is the reason why we have not signed Illiasu. He would be easy but Wenger wants Gallas more.

We will also keep Reyes as he is actually not wanted anymore by Real. I dont know why thew wanted him in the first place?! But we will look for a DM. As i said 2 days ago, he will cover for Gilberto then replace him. This will be Mavuba, Alou Diarra, Kaboul or someone of thet kind.

Team for 2006/07 season. .

Lehmann/Poom

Eboue/Lauren/(Hoyte until Lauren is fit)

Senderos/Signed player/(Cygan until it happens)

Kolo/Djourou

Clichy/Hoyte/(Flamini until Clichy is fit)

Hleb/Freddie

Cesc/Diaby/(Hleb/Rosicky until Diaby is fit)

Gilberto/signed player/Flamini/Song

Rosicky/Walcott/Reyes

Adebayor/RvP

Henry/Walcott/(likely to be the striker Walcott is a winger)

That is a good team!

Reading will sign Porto midfielder Luis Gonzalez for £4m aswell as Rafinha from Schalke for £4.3m.

Rafinha can play at right-back or right-midfield and the 21-year-old Brazilian has agreed a 4-year contract including a £14m release clause and Argentinian Gonzalez has sign a 2-year deal with a release clause of £7m.

Fulham's contract rebel Steed Malbranque could be offered a lifeline by Reading.

Reading are talking with Real Madrid about the possibility of signing defender Jonathan Woodgate.

Reading are chasing Fiorentina defender Tomas Ujfalusi.

Jan Venesuala of Hugenmeister will NOT sign for Celtic as they cant afford the players wages of closer to £45 grand a week. Expect a few premiership clubs to submitt a bit ie Pompie, Villa, Newcastle, Bolton. Unfortunately Graveson will sign for Newcastle. Celtic will have to look elsewhere. Petrov off by the weekend for 6Mill. Strachen has formally asked Dion Dublic back. snigger, snigger. .

If West Brom secure the signing of Kevin Phillips, they will let Nathan Ellington rejoin Wigan for a £1.5 million transfer fee. However if Championship strugglers, Sunderland snap up their cult hero, which looks likely - Wigan will miss out on Ellington - who Jewell still wants to bring back to the JJB.

Manu have alot of money to spend this season. The intial transfer kitty was 30m but with the sales of Van Nistelrooy for 10.2m and John Obi Mikel for 12m their transfer budget has added upto 52.2m. Plus the new AIG deal plus money from the financial plan laid down by the Glazers, they transfer kitty is quite big. But United wont be using up all the money because they will keep money for January Transfer window. However now to the transfers,United have already signed Carrick with an intial payment of 14m that leaves 38.2m left. With that money they will sign Hargreaves for 17-18m and either Adriano(20m),Toni(10-15m),Klass Jan Huntelaar(10-15m lore likely) or Tevez(15-17m).But most likely United will sign Tevez who just put in a transfer request and is a United fan and was also fined for wearing a united Shirt in a news conference. Adriano is even likely as Inter is lookin for a possible replacement in the form of Ronaldo from Madrid.United may also bid for Maschereno,De Rossi or Muntari if the deal for Hargreaves collapses.

I'm a Gunner fan and i wanna know what's the deal with Christian Chivu. I haven't been able to find any info on the possible trade on any either sites but this. To the fans with special 'sources', can u please find out wats happenign with Chivu, and if its true. I think Chivu would be better than Gallas considering Gallas wants to go to France, Spian or Italy. Now that Ribery is a certain NO, i wanna know how close is the Robinho deal is, as i think that Baptisa is OVERATED and Reyes will have rouble getting into the side ahead of Rosicky. GO GUNNERS! LETS WIN THE PREM!

Darius Henderson will rejoin Reading after Watford gave him permission to talk to his former club, accepting a £3m bid.

GOONER NEWS Finally the deal will be done with Ashley Cole moving to Chelsea in exchange for William Gallas plus £10million?A deal is also being put in place to swap Jose Antonio Reyes plus £12million for Julio Baptista and Robinho? The last piece of business will be the signing of Fernando Gago(boca juniors),AW has been tracking him for over a year now and see's him as the ideal long term partner for Cesc Fabregas? The deal to take Nuri Sahin(borussia dortmund)looks very close but he will not arrive until January?

To the person who said everton would offer 500 thousand for danny mills, that would be a bit stupid, because he has no club and is a free agent. Also, to the liverpool fan who said "lucas neill has already signed and will be unveiled next week", why would they not unveil him now if he has signed? It makes no sense. Now for some real transfer news. Rafael Van der vaart has offers from villa and pompey. Newcastle have made bids for martins, upson and makaay. There will be very little activity in the next week.

Greg Halford to sign for Norwich for £1.2m on friday

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>MAN U NEWS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Just been down at United's training ground and have seen Fernando Torres leaving, local viewers had said he had been in manchester for his medical and the fee was £26.6m. Anyone in manchester can pop down there to confirm. you heard it here first!!

I am currently on holiday in Sapin and me and my dad got talking to some Spanish fella in one of the local bars. He was telling me how he is a fottball journalist for the newspaper Marca. He told me that everton will sign Vicente on loan from valencia for the season. Apparently Vicente is annoyed after the manager is lining u Simao to play in his position. He also said if they fail with the Simao bid they will go for Jose Antonio Reyes.

barnsley will sign colin kazim-richards, danny scofield and grant smith on either thursday or friday but kyle letheren will go out on loan to leyton orient

Portsmouth are looking to snatch obafemi martins from under the noses of Newcastle United. It is thought he would prefer a move to Fratton Park as Pompey can offer better personal terms.

Also Udinese want £11m+ for Ghanian Winger Sulley Ali Muntari.

I was reading The News the other day and it said HR has signed Manuel Fernandes on loan and will sign him permanently for £8.5m if he can prove his fitness.

Also Ognjen Koroman will sign on a season long loan.

According to the latest articles on the continent Manchester United are planning a coup d'etat at the expense of juventus' recent relegation and discontent at chelsea. The United boss is keen to see both Camoranesi and Trezeguet at the club before the close of the transfer window, suring up both midfield and attack fearing another injury prone season. In addition to this there are also rumours of a quick grab for S. Wright Phillips whether it be on the closing days of the transfer window or in the january window.

Colchester ace, Greg Halford could be set to leave the promoted Championship side, in the next week with interest within the Championship and Premiership. It is understood that Watford, West Ham, Leicester, Hull, Leeds and Luton Town are all interested in the midfielder who Colchester would want atleast £750,000 for.

This may be public knowledge by the time its printed, but Pompey on monday offered to improve upon the personal terms NUFC have offered Martin's, & of course matched NUFC's transfer valuation.

Martin's is rumoured to look quite favourably upon 'Arry as numerous African players who've played for him have enjoyed the experience.

Its not at all certain whether

Martin's will base his choice upon the chances of European football.

Martin's has been treated poorly by Inter & particularly by Mancini, omitted from the pre season tour etc. Clearly Mancini prefers strikers who have the mobility of a milk float, they'll stroll Serie A this season, but Europe?

Martin's goal every three games ratio, last year isn't stunning, but his pace and movement are a big plus.

To the muppets who keep posting Muntari is joining Villa for £3mill, could you please explain how this is possible considering Pompey's valuation of £7.5-8.5 mill, with Udinese quoting an initial ludicrous selling fee of £11mill? Maybe MON will captivate Udinese with his charming celtic blarney, making them forget they want to make a big profit.

Apparently there's some substance to the 3rd Pompey bid for Petrov, but instead of Muntari?

That cant be a good move, especially considering the £7 mill Celtic want, although that price will reduce as Aug 31st approaches. Im hoping Pompey keep bashing away at Udinese for a young wide player who did well in Germany, not someone who's looked good in the 2nd rate SPL.

Pompey are again considering Distin seriously having lost out on Nelson, a deal which never really got going. Boro have offered personal terms which reflect their worry about where they're going this season, however. Another CH is seriously needed but would put the club captain's place in jeopardy, as he's no left back.

Look at the 'quality' of the Dowie signings, there may be trouble afoot there. .

As I said a few weeks back the fantasists obsessed with the Kraft family are gonna be disappointed. No ownership change of the 'pool is even under discussion.

To the guy who said, he was 'appauled' by the spelling on this board, yes its appalling mate.

You gotta keep boogying.

NORWICH CITY!

A friend working in the club tells me that with the sale of Robert Green, Norwich are finalising a couple of loan deals.

One is a season loan for for 'keeper David Martin from Liverpool and the other is a loan deal until January for out of favour striker Massimo Maccarone from Middlesboro. The agreement is for him to play at least 15 games during the loan to put him in the "shop window" for clubs interested in buying him as he won't be getting into the 'boro first team.

ARSENAL NEWS!!

Arsenal will complete the signing of Gallas on thursday for 5m and chelsea will then purchase lahm to go with boulharez as there 2 new signings mourinho promised. This will be a huge kick in the teeth for cashley cole and he will have to make do with staying with arsenal (and fight for his place back as its no longer guaranteed!!) at least until next season, when like the Vieira stories will come back up again next summer!!!

Expect Reyes to go to Real, probably on friday for around 11m but no swaps involved as we have Walcott or Rosicky to play in his role or also drop Van Persie back to the left side of midfield and play freddie more advanced to get his scoring touch back.

by the time you read this it'll already be on sky but i'll say it anyway, Greg Halford to hand in transfer request, this will alert Norwich who will bid £1 million for him. this should solve their striker problem and add depth to the squad. Let's be havin' you

If his bid for Moussa N'Diaye fails, Niall Quinn will turn his attention to Le Mans striker Ismael Bangoura to bolster Sunderland's front line.

United are not getting hargreaves as Bayern do not want to be known as a selling club! instead expect to get mascherano(15) and torres(25)! so sorry newcastle fans but get ur hopes up now but get ready for another season of bitter disapointment

Everton will NOT sign anyone else this summer 100% no

Toon News

Toon will sign Martins by Thursday for 10 million.

Also expect news on offers for Bridge, Gravesen and even Distin to return to the Toon

Birmingham New Street train station,Earnshaw and Kewell,in a private limo,I was the driver,Villa was the destination, worse thing was ,no tip,and no thankyou's, good luck O'Neill, were's their manners?

DON'T BE SUPRISED OF TOMMY SMITH ARRIVES BACK AT THE VIC BEFORE THE TRANSFER WINDOW CLOSES. THIS MOVE COULD BE SCUPPERD AS SHEFF UNTD ARE ALSO INTERESTID

Ivory Coast left back Boka will sign next week NOT Naylor.

Jan V. of Hesselink will sign regardless if Petrov leaves or not.

Thomas Gravesen signing hinges on Petrov leaving.

West Ham will snap up Steed Malbranque for £3.5 million this week. Alan Pardew will get the French midfielder for a cut price. Coleman was happy to play him in the reserves and let him leave for free at the end of the seasonm, but Pardew is to snap up the winger. Middlesbrough and Tottenham and Everton and Newcastle may also spring a late interest.

=v1=

Newcastle United are set to make an £8 million swoop for Real Madrid defender Woodgate.

Manchester United will settle for the cheaper option of Senna, so that they can make a 17-25m offer for Carlos Tevez or perhaps (although quite unlikely) Fernando Torres. Although he has openly said he will stay at Madrid, Sir Alex has not yet given up hope of signing the young striker.

It has been rumoured in Holland that Johnny Heitinga is excited at the thought of coming to the premiership next season, the most likely suitors being manchester united. Ferguson sees the dutchman as a long term replacement at right-back for the ageing gary neville.

Mark Hughes looks to be the favourite to suceed Sir Alex Ferguson at Man United. Sir Alex will NOT be leaving at the end of this season, but in 2 or 3 seasons time, Mark hughes will take over. With this move he will take Reid and Pedersen with him.

Arsenal look set to do a player swap. .Ashley Cole + 8 million for Chelsea's William Gallas.

Ahhh-haaaa-haaaaaa, it hurts I'm laughing so hard right now. 'Valencia winger Vicente looks set to join Reading on loan for the season. The 25-year-old, who can also play on either wing, as a central midfielder or up front, has fallen out of the Valencia first team and want's to play in the Premiership.' Ahhh-ha-ha. Vicente starting this evening in the Champions League victory over Salzburg. Angulo - Albiol - Navarro - Moretti

- - - Albelda - Edu - - - - -

Silva - - - - - - - - Vicente

- - - Villa - Morientes - - - - Now Valencia will be top of their group (thanks to corrution at Juve). Valencia will increase their bid for Joaquin and look to seal him by the end of the week. He doesn't want to go to Lyon anyway. Valencia will also look to seal their substitute holding midfield posistion (behind Albelda) and resolve their centre-back controversy (Ayala to Villarreal?) Vicente to Reading, aaah-ha-ha. Good one.
