Everton heading for a disasterous close season in the transfer market. It is unlikely that they will now not qualify for europe this season because they simply are not good enough. Altough they have the players, Everton under David Moyes are tactically inept. As such it will be difficult to attract players to take the club to the next level. Worse still, the club will face renewed interest from Man United for Tim Cahill (14m), Spurs for JoLeon LeScott (8m) and several Spanish sides looking at Mikel Arteta (8m) . Talk at Goodison last night was that there was growing discontent at David Moyes tactics (i. e. taking off a forward and central midfielder and bringing on two full backs last night at home) and this is causing concern. Several former players referring to DM as an idiot! All is not well. .
Ronaldinhp is unhappy with what is going on at Barca, Milan want to partner him with Ronaldo and are willing to swap Kaka for him, stopping Real going for him. Milan are stilll seething that Real have been tapping him so selling him to their rivals will get revenge. Celtic will only bring in replacements for the player who do actually leave. They have room for 2 big signings and possibly two more should Naka / Bobo and Gravasend leave.
Strachan will continue to pick up the best of the young Scottish talent with Goodwillie (Dundee United), Darren McCormack (Hibs), Ryan Wallace (Hearts) and James McCarthey (Hamilton) all on John Parks redar.
Strachan knows Walter and Ally will want to do something big this summer and he has to get this years transfers right of its to be 3 in a row.

My very reliable sources tell me Arsenal could have a very active summer transfer window. firsly a goalkeeper to replace the departing J. lehmann, next will be the departure of J. baptista and ljunberg they will be replaced by up to two wingers, this could be R. quaresma and Ribery if not the J. navas or babel. aliadire will decide in pre season whether to leave asenal.
Arsenal rumours:- Wenger will sign a new keeper. It will be Igor Akinfeev not Scott Carson. He will not make Baptista's move permanent. Reyes to be sold to Sevilla. Senderos will be off to Juventus. AW to use cash to buy Feyenoord centreback Ron Vlaar for an undisclosed fee. Bendtner will be featured in AW first team plans next season. He will be featuring as often as Baptista is doing currently. Walcott will be loaned out. Mark Randall, Nacer Barazite, Jay Simpson and other reserves will be loaned out as well to get experience.
First thing first Mark fotheringham is not on loan at Carrow Road, he signed on a free til end of season with the club got tabs on further year. with the goalkeeping situation, with Lee camp at Q. P. R grant is looking at the golden oldy PaulJones from Q. p. r who has been told he can leave. he could be brought in on loan for rest of season. come on you canaries

I've been told that Man Utd have around £100 million to spend on players, but that it must be spent before the end of the next 2 transfer windows (not sure why - I didn't ask) . Alex Ferguson has stated that he wants 2 strong player for each position, and the following are players the board are considering moving for. GK: Foster will return, and will be automatic first choice. RB: Micah Richards. However, City won't want to sell to United, so an enquiry has been made to Ajax for Heitinga. LB: Bale will definitely join - this has already been agreed. CB: Pique will possibly stay in Spain at Zaragoza for 1 more season, as will Jonny Evans stay at Sunderland. Ferguson has therefore had scouts watching 20 year old Ezequiel Garay of Racing Santander who is available for around £10 million. Added to this, Heinze will move in to cover Vidic, and Brown to cover Ferdinand. Silvestre will be sold. In midfield, expect to see bids for Nani and Moutinho of Sporting Lisbon, although neither will be an automatic first choice. Hargreaves is basically tied up and will cost £18 million. One potential signing as cover for Ronaldo (or to play on the right and let Ronaldo play on the left) is Joaquin. Since moving to Valencia last summer, he isn't first-choice, and isn't very happy with this situation (as on his day he is one of the best wingers in the world) . Up front, two option at the minute are Torres (but the board are going off the idea once his goals record was closely examined) and Huntelaar from Ajax. Suazo from Cagliari is being very closely monitored and would be a very good signing, but some of the bigger Italian clubs are a few steps ahead in this race. Ferguson believes that Suazo can be one of the best strikers in world football and can be signed relatively cheaply. Ferguson was once offered David Villa for £5million before he moved to Valencia (and now obviously regrets not pursuing it), and he feels Suazo can have the same sort of impact in England that Villa has had in Spain.

Just heard from a friend who plays reserve football for Arsenal that there are rumours that Arsenal don't want Baptista but Woodgate to shore up the defense! Personally I hope they sign both as Baptista is quality!

There is no way possible that Rafa is leaving Liverpool, neither is Alonso! Alonso says he wants to stay in the premiership and Rafa is finally given his much needed budget boost.
Fowler will go to USA as Steve Nicol has given him a call-up. Dudek was told he won't get a new contract after the Portugal incident. Benitez is wanting to offload Bellamy to Blackburn or Villa. This isn't certain after his assist and goal against Braca.
Rafa stated he wants Juve striker Trezeguet. The Italians are asking about Crouch as they are uncertain Trezeguet will stay. In an open interview with Corriere dello Sport, Benitez said: "We are following many players in Italy, like Trezeguet, but he's not alone and for me there is also (Udinese's Vicenzo) Iaquinta, (Palermo's) Amauri and Bojinov. "
