Mark Davies still a target for Swansea?

We got enough reserve team players thanks

No chance we need a striker and not any more midfielders

Not worth ten mill so he can stay in the championship for another couple of years and then join Wigan for 3mill when he is 26+

Fulham manager Martin Jol has transfer listed goalkeeper David Stockdale and defender Matthew Briggs for moves away from Craven Cottage in January.
Stockdale has only featured for the London side 16 times and is expected to cost around £1 million. The keeper who has earned raved reviews in the past has attracted the interest from Oldham Athletic but the asking price is expected to put a number of teams off.
Briggs is also attracting interest with Nottingham Forest the front runners for his signature.

There is no chance Oldham will get him, we can't afford him and I doubt he'd drop two divisions anyway

Chelsea have told Ben Gordon he can leave in the summer. Gordon is currently on loan at Birmingham and has been informed he can leave on a free transfer. It is thought that he is keen on a move back to Scotland with a contract with Hibernian already mooted.

Norwich City are set to sign SK Brann striker Kim Ojo for £2.5m aswell as Werder Bremen winger Eljero Elia on loan till the end of the season with an option to purchase

Dani Pacheco may also be a target depending on what Liverpool's asking price of him is.

Simon Lappin, Elliott Ward, Andrew Surman, James Vaughan and Chris Martin are all set to be sold in the January transfer period aswell

Kim Ojo is said to be signing for Genk for 1M euro

Kim ojo looks brilliant hope we do get him seems like a cheap buy for what he is

Andrew Surman signed a contract extension in the summer, he won't be leaving and Vaughan will return for next season. We're not going to sell a player that hasn't had a chance to prove himself.

Elia at Norwich? Yeah ok.

Yeah right would we let go that amount of players in January. Maybe we might let christ martin go or james vaughan and get a striker in. but the rest? pahaha do me a favour

Also surman features quite alot as a sub for us so no chance is he leaving. And certainly not for anything less than 2 million

Harry Redknapp has agreed to take the QPR job, but only if they will agree to allocate an area outside of the ground where he can wind down his window and do a few interviews.

He's also asked that his dog be appointed as Director of Football.

He does have his dog been appointed back room staff! joe jordon

Brilliant!!

Newcastle's Alan Pardew is preparing to splash the cash at crisis club Newcastle to help them out of their present rut.

Demba Ba and one other of their high propro profile signings are to be sold to make way for way for up to 5 new signings to bolster their wafer thin squad.
It is rumoured that the Magpies are
looking at 3 players from the lower
divisions as ashley has indicated
there is no money to be released
until the start of next season
and all income must be generated
from transfers

Just heard that Walsall FC could be about to enter takeover talks with a wealthy business tycoon who has been looking for a West Midlands club!

Im sure if hes wealthy he would choose someone like west brom lol walsall oh dear

Weat Brom cannot be molded into what a new chairman wants without alot of investment, a club like Walsall makes sense, cheap to buy and leaves alot more money to mold the club into what he wants, Big clubs are a waste of money with supporters who have high expectations i.e stay well clear of them

Yeah it might make sense but people dont see it like that

Also, i have just seen a pig fly over the lost city of Atlantis

MK Dons look set to lose their manager in the coming days as QPR get set to appoint Karl Robinson after talks with Harry Redknapp broke down.

Nice one rubbish

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in young Portsmouth full back Adam Webster who has impressed while playing this season.

Spurs plan to make their interest official in January when they bid around 500K for his services.

Previously Spurs had been interested in the young striker Ashley Harris from Portsmouth but their appreciated of the player has waned following some poor performances.

Ashley would not go to Tottenham. There is only one club he would go to.

If you read the rumour Ashley is no longer wanted by Spurs due to a series of poor perfomances.

Harris can't even get in the Portsmouth team at the moment, so I doubt that Spurs would be interested in his services.

He's had a very average start to his season and when he has started games he hasn't produced like he has from the bench.

Harris ain't good enough for Spurs. He's not even good enough to get in the Pompey team at the moment.

How the hell do you know where Harris is going or wants to go? He's a young kid and the club needs money. They will sell him to the highest bidder.

I bet your like some 12 year old with an obsession about him, thinking you know him and probs tell people your related.

He IS my cousin.

Obsessed you probs met him once. Get over it?

Met him more than once, seeing as he's my cousin

Portsmouth will appoint a manager once they come out of Administration, which could be as close as December 14th and the man looking likely to get the nod is ex player Mark Stimson.

Stimson has carved out a managerial career in the lower leagues and could finally be given a chance to flourish at a big club.

Big Club??? ;-)

U r in the lower leagues !!!!!!!!

Big club haha good joke

How long have pompey been a
big club
laughable

More likely to be a Comet manager-they are used to dealing with bankrupt stock!

I believe this would be the biggest and most successful club on the South Coast if you look at the history? Very revisionist ideas you have.

If you get stimson pompey will be in the conference with a few years

WHO???

Romsey Saint

Doesn't the Southampton chairman pick their team? When was the last time they won a South Coast derby? 8 years and counting . . . . .

Hold onto the history Pompey fans, because that's where you will be shortly!

History shows Pompey are the biggest club on the South Coast, nobody knows what the future holds. Currently Saints have the better team although neither club is winning many games! Ref a likely new manager for Pompey.........Paul Ince's name keeps being mentioned!

We will continue to hold onto the history, and that history will continue to be better than yours. Have fun buying second rate players and top rate prices. Your copying us and even then you cant do it properly! Jay Rodriguez for 7 million? have a laugh.

Hearing takeover of Birmingham City FC is going smoothly (eventually) with Gianni Paladini. When he comes in with his Italian consortium, the plan is to remove Lee Clark from the managerial post, and in his place he wishes to offer Roberto Di Matteo the managerial role.

If you think about it, it makes sense with Di Matteo being Italian himself, can see this happening!

Thats why hes said it lol i doubt this he will have better offers than birmingham...

Why are championship clubs linking themselves with Roberto Di Matteo. When average premier league teams like Sunderland and Newcastle are in poor form and saw Di Matteo really excel at Chelsea and will be looking to sack their managers.

23 Nov 2012 13:12:14
Neil Trotman transfer listed by chesterfield turned down moves to non league Harrow and Gosport yesterday and was set to a move to Chester City but it fell through as chesterfield would not pay 70 percent of wages. Paul cook set to let him leave with pay off in next few days

23 Nov 2012 13:10:10
Steve mean is being lined up by QPR as chief scout after Mark Hughes departure, Redknapp will sign a 4 year management deal and change the back room staff, which will include Steve kean

Not steve stab u in back kean

23 Nov 2012 12:18:17
Derby County have made an enquiry into signing Colchester midfielder Anthony Wordsworth in January.

I think this would be a really good signing for derby. good freekick taker and can just sit there in the midfeild and go forward

23 Nov 2012 11:56:36
Afc Bournemouth are looking at bringing former England keeper Paul Robinson in from Blackburn to increase competition on David James. Shwan Jalal will then be free to leave with Leeds and Leicester keen.

Funny text Paul Robinson going to one of smallest clubs in football league yeah

Evan the chairman has said cuts are needed but nice try im sure if he chose to leave better teams would want him

^^^^^^^^^^^Ah the green eyed monster strikes again^^^^

Jalal wont go!!!!!!He is a beast and my favourite player

Swindon fans again lol getting sour grapes cause we sign matt Richie and will be at dean court on 1st of jan

Um I doubt if we sign Robinson that he would be competition for James!? James is still quality but Robinson would walk into the team no offence. Plus Robinson wouldnt drop to us because let's face it, we're not big enough for the likes of him.

January will be a pivitol month for Portsmouth football club as it's expected 4 players could be leaving the club.

Brian Howard is expected to amongst them as he is rumoured to be on 8K a week and Portsmouth feel they could get another 3 players in using his salary. Also expected to follow Howard are Lee Williamson who has struggled to settle in the south with a move back up north to Preston looking likely.

The other two players who could be leabing are Izale McLeod, who's wife doesn't like the abuse he's been recieving despite scoring goals in a poor team and he is being monitored by MK Dons, we could also see Adam Webster leave the club after attractring interest from Premier League side Reading.

Reading don't want L1 players hence why are owner says we're interested in arshavin

Howard crap let him go williamson crap let him go and mcleod erm goalscorer but not the best. Not been the same player since wes thomas left

Wolves fan here, tou have just got the jewel in our crown look after him enjoy, Gleeson was good at Wolves and very underrated, but this guy is gonna be big.

Adam Webster is an England Under 19 and Reading are building for the future, so he is a player on their rader, he has been since last season.

Webster is 17, 6ft 4ins and is playing for England under 19s. He is comfortable on the ball and will in a few years be worth a hell of a lot of money, so it Reading or any other club want him, whilst Pompey need cash, it will cost a lot more than the rumoured £500k.

Pompey are hardly in a position to negotiate. They will have to take what they are offered.

Wrong! When Pompey come out of administration in late Dec they will have sufficient funds and will be owned and run by Pompey fans so any deals will have to be right for the club, not greedy owners.

That's an "If" not a "When" regarding the administration. Do you really think the Ponpey fans are going to keep the club afloat?

Izale wont return to the Dons. We dont have the money to pay him the wage he wants.

Webster sounds promising, but we have Sean Morrison, Alex Pearce and Adrian Mariappa who are young and very good centre backs. Where would Webster fit in? Unless we offload them all he won't get near our starting 11

Reading Owner did not say he was interested in Arshavin. It was a misquote where he was asked whether he liked Arshavin as a player and he sayed he thought he was a good player

In the matches I've seen Adam Webster ( the home games ) I can't see why he is getting interest from the Premier League he has a shocking first touch and gives the ball away carelessly. Although he can play a good long ball.

"Izale wont return to the Dons. We dont have the money to pay him the wage he wants."

And Portsmouth do? I wouldn't want him back anyway but how much is he on to say that Pompey could afford him but we couldn't?

Izale is watching the Dons play Wimbledon on sunday, so there may some truth in the rumour that we want to re-sign him.

I've seen Marko Futacs watch pompey doent mean he is returning might just like the club

Norwich are hoping to get the march on their Premiership Rivals by signing Anderlecht striker Dieumerci Mbokani for £5.5m in the January Transfer Window

They want 10 m for him 8.5 m

Out of are price range ....3 or 4 mill is our tops would lov to see it but dont think it will happen ....

This signing would be brilliant absolute diamond of a player

Not if the rumours are true that Norwich were going to sign a mystery £8/9m striker at the end of the last transfer window who pulled out at the last minute!

According 2 the AGM last night the manager still has money left over from the summer budget 3.5 m for CMS. So it's not out of our price range . Just hope that the rumour about the striker that rejected us wasn't CMS I hope we don't get him

In order to be a good player a footballer needs to have a short name. Basically the shorter the name the better the player; Pele for example = good player Eusebio= Good player, Ronaldo = Good player Messi= good player Zidane= Good player Zoff= Good player Zubizaretta= The one exception that proves the rule. Craig Mackail-Smith clearly fails this short name test - but not only that, the idea of signing him also contravenes another old footballing rule which states that any player with a double barrelled surname must be rubbish on account of his parents dubious middle class aspirations. It's all in the name and for the record calling him CMS doesn't count and won't make him a better player. This is the very same reason why the term "the artists formerly known as Prince" never caught on and saw the instant demise of the little popstrel's career. Who cares about goals and assists and all that statistical nonsense we need to get the fundamentals right first and this means only hiring footballers with short names. {Ed003's Note - haha,love it.}

This guy really is on to something. I really hope people open their eyes to this fact and stop all these Mbokani, Abdellaoue nonsense and be happy with signing players with short names like Holt, not only are shorter names easier to pronounce for our Norfolk minds but it is a FACT that players with short names are better players and costs less money to have their name printed onto the back of your shirt.

Probably should sign Ba then? He must be good....

Millwall are showing interest in Readings left sided defender Ian Harte. The former Irish internationsl is not playing at the Berkshire club and wants more game time.

Wouldn't want him never rated him and I think we have a few old donkeys in the team as it is

Spoken to him personally have you.

What old donkeys you are talking about ?

To the above, you have no idea. Harte is a class act at your level. Take a look at his career history he's been there and done it and still can do it.. Set piece mastermind with a killer left foot. Millwall are showing some decent form and although it would be sad to see him leave he'd be excellent for yous

A very good experienced player,if true would be a class signing!COYL

Yeh who'd want a left back with a lethal free kick whose been in the championship team of the year for the last two seasons....

You obviously don't know much about football mate! Most championship teams would be more than glad to have him!

Just think we need to be thinking if the future not taking on oldies but. That's why I have an opinion. Yeah he was class yeah still is for chap level but us that all u want ?? We couldn't match readings wages. And I'd rather the money go on woods and beavers who both want to play for us As I said my opinion and as for donkeys. Apart from today forde us one Alan dunne racon There's 3 that need to go to release funds for better players. But in kenny I trust he has done brill on small budget and has been loyal and us building a good young team.

As a Millwall fan I would welcome his experience to the squad! But its up to Sir KJ?!COYL

What's all this old Donkeys rubbish most of the Millwall side are in there low to mid 20's
I'd have him down the Den for his experience ...and ability

Oh didn't read that bit so you'd play Dunne or Racon at LB would you ?? Lowry is there at the moment but who's the cover...if you say Smith I might fall off this chair so be carefull

Agreed he has experience. But stop gap old man now racon dunne as for mentioned are not up to challenging for top 5 yes we need quality and he is bit just think to old and the wages prob be top earner. That's when problems start and we end up spending more than we earn yes we are making a loss but that's low in this div and unless all the arm chair fans get down more often we never gonna have the cash. But I fancy us this yr and yes hart is better cover. Squad is looking strong. Keep beavers wood hart maybee signing all we need is a keeper

So when Danny goes of to Africa for six weeks we may need Lowry at cb and then who at LB ? If not Harte we need cover and not Malone he's better further forward

I agree with all you Milwall fans, i mean who would want a left back who could get them 11 goals in a season, sounds rubbish and past it to me too. You're all deluded, he's too good for you

League 2 promotion candidates Port Vale want to sign two strikers on loan, the first is Notts Countys Lee Hughes and the other is Barnsleys Chris Dagnall. Both will be confirmed today. {Ed003's Note - the loan window closed yesterday}

Apparently these were signed and sealed before 5pm yesterday but due to paperwork, wont be confirmed until today. {Ed003's Note - I see,cheers for clearing that up}

Wrong hes staying put

They are welcome to Dagnall, not good enough.

Hurry up Barnsley and get rid of dagnall. I will pay the taxi fare
