I advise everyone to get behind Rafa! The yanks have been terrible with the club an must leave. They are selling the club ASAP to unknown buyers. ATM Rafa has a limited budget, around £1.5m in January, so expect to see Pandev join on a pre–contract and that's it. We have lost to Chelsea and were poor, then were beaten by a better Fiorentina side, which was poor again. Then we lost to Sunderland because 1 stupid fan threw a beachball on the field. The goal should never have counted but you have to take these things on the chin. We were then the better side against Lyon but paid the price with Johnson's poor positioning. With our side backs we need 5 defenders. If all the doubters carry on the effect will be catacalysmic on the team's morale and Rafa will be sacked, but the yanks do't want this at it will cause all sorts of problems with potential buyers who'll either want the existing manager or a new one. To bring in a new manager before we are sold will affect buyers as it'll cause backroom problems. The league can still be won, we just have to get our heads up and beat the mancs. Rafa wants Barzagli, Jesus Gamez, Huddlestone, Aguero, Soldado and Silva but lacks the funds. He is looking into selling Kyrgiakos, Degen, Plessis, Babel and Voronin but would raise around £15–20m for them, with signings costing around £80m. With Arabs as owners we'd see this happen. Mate how can anyone believe ur rumour when u accuse johnson of poor positioning against lyon when he wasnt even playing its a joke. my rumour is that liverpool will not be doing any business in the winter transfer market as we can't afford it and no1 will take us over due to the fact that there have been takeover rumours since the yanks bought us and there has never been any meat to these rumours.YNWA times are tough but if ur a true fan u stick with ur team no matter what

Utd rumours – Hazard, Jovetic & Silva all being considered currently, with Jovetic being the favourite. Rumour is that the jury is still out on Berbatov, I personally think we should have got Benzema wrapped up before selling Ronaldo but c'est la vie. Walsall F.C. are set to complete the signings of goalkeeper Mark Oxley on loan from Hull City for a month and former Charlton Athletic striker Shaun Bartlett until the end of the season. Shaun will wear shirt number 29 and Mark number 31.
Just got this from a reliable source within Anfield. Liverpool have contacted Barcelona to offer them first refusal on Mascherano with the proviso that Busquets would be part of any deal. Benitez has told them this is the only way he will allow Mascherano to join them next summer. And there is no chance of Benitez being sacked no matter where Liverpool finish this season. FORDY.

Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira will alert Premiership managers this summer by declaring his interest in returning to England. Just like dozens of other Serie A players, Vieira will look to get away from crisis–torn Italy and the Frenchman has earmarked a return to his most successful country as a player. Arsenal got nine years out of him, but it's unknown whether Arsene Wenger will be looking to bring him back to the club as the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Gilberto, Abou Diaby and Tomas Rosicky currently occupy the central midfield positions. Live in the city centre of Glasgow and the amount of police on horses, cops on the street combined with a chopper hovering over George square was mental!! Celtic & Hamburg fans fighting in little pockets ALL over the city. I stay a short 5 minute walk from queen street station (high st) and must have past atleast 70 – 80 cops (10 on horseback) on my way home. Both sets of supporters were just clashing everywhere. Some Hamburg fans were wearing Rangers tops to wynd celtic fans up, and they took the bait big time!! Panatinaikos tried the same thing at Ibrox but Rangers fans didn't storm in to Glasgow's city centre and start rumbling with them all!! And before some daft tim comes on and brings up Manchester for the millionth time in his life. This does NOT defend Rangers fans for Manchester. I'm just pointing out what I witnessed first hand last night in my city.
