  – Sheff United news–

I am informed by my spy that the Blades will move before the transfer deadline ends next week. Stelios Giannakopoulos from Bolton Thomas Gravesen from Celtic will both move to Bramall Lane with the Bolton player coming on loan and the Celtic Player getting a contract.

Everton to tie up double deal of Fernandez and Yakubu today. Expect a late bid for Stewart Downing too, Fans voted yes to new Kirkby stadium.

According to my source of info regarding transfers, he has heard Liverpool are still looking at bringing in two players before the deadline. One is a German defender, believed to be either Per Mertesacker or Philip Lahm, and the other one a winger from Portugal. I think you know who it might be. There are still lots of problems regarding the fee though, not personal terms. There was no mention of Giorgio Chiellini, but this does not mean too much. Could be hush hush. Will update if I get a call this afternoon.

A source of mine close to Goodison has confirmed that Fernandes signed for the Blues last Saturday, however a decision was made even before the signing to keep the press announcement back until Yakubu completes his signing today (Friday). Everton wanted to unveil the Fernandes signing along side their most expensive aquisition, Yakubu, at planned press conference at Goodison Park on Friday evening/Saturday morning (pre EFC v Blackburn fixture). Moyes apparently still has a sum of up to £5 million to spend on his squad and has three defenders who he is currenltly showing an interest although I have no further info at this time on this.   Man United may surprise fans and offer forward Louis Saha to Newcastle as part of a swap deal for Obafemi Martins, despite the shortage in forwards.

With Wenger About to sign a new deal expect bids for the following players

goalkeeper

We already have 3 first team keepers fighting for a place so do not expect another one

Defence

With West Bromwich Albion wanting £15 million for Davies a loan deal might be possible to test if the money is worth paying.

Midfield

Riquelme (10 million) expect competition from many other English andd European clubs including Tottenham

Modric (10 mil) expect Arsenal to beat Bayern for his signiture

Strikers

Wenger has said he will not buy another forward (even though Arsenal really need some experience upfront) However there are rumoursof Di Santos having a trial and a possible loan move for Robinho, however the chances are 1 in a million of either being true

Arsenal will sign belgium and Lille starlet eden hazard

Just got a quick rumor Steve Howard from Derby to move to Fulham before the end of the transfer window. Also Jon Stead to go to Derby.

Once the takeover of Queens Park Rangers is completed by Flavio "the savior" Briatorre, we will be looing to pip Plymouth to securing the services of Scott Sinclaire on a season long loan to ease the left wing problem.

Also, Inigo Idiakez looks like he will be joinng from the saints and also a possibility of Nathan Ellington from West Bromwich as Gregory wants a big number 10 to partner Dexter and Sahar. Onwards and upwards

Final week of the transfer window and Rangers will complete signing of Reynolds (Motherwell) and Hart (Aberdeen), Out will be Murray (English Championship) and possibly Papac (France being the likely destination)

Rafa Benitez will take advantage of the stall of the sale of Daniel Alves' move to Chelsea or Real Madrid. The Brazilian's move to Chelsea has stalled with Sevilla looking to take advantage of Chelsea's history of big spending which has lead to Mourinho instead signing Belletti from FC Barcelona. Madrid have already signed many huge profile signings including Drenthe and Heinze. FC Barcelona may now join the race for Daniel Alves but Liverpool are likely to offer £20 million for the Brazilian in a deal that may potentially involve Harry Kewell in what would be a surprise move for the Australian. Real Madrid may yet look to sign Alves but with the aquistion of Pepe, Sergio Ramos is likely to play next season at right–back while Schuster is happy with his defense. Expect Benitez to table an offer for Alves in the next few days.

I have heard the Manny Fernandes was the "on" that Moyes had to give up on in oder to sign the Yak. The ginger one decided that a forward was more of a priority. I hope that this is not true as I also understand the Manchester City and Pompey bags are now trying to get him. I was hoping the hold up was due the third party, but sadly it appears not.

Martin Allen is not leaving Leicester and talk of Glenn Roeder is ridiculous. The club will announce the signing of Riordon in next 48 hours after a deal has been agreed between both clubs.

Liverpool FC rumours: Expect Liverpool to bring in two more players with Daniel Alves and Gergio Chiellini the two most likely. Sevilla received a better offer from Liverpool which is why Chelsea have signed Belleti. Hyypia will leave for Fulham once the deals are finalised. Liverpool's finalised lineup will be; Reina/Itandje, Alves/Finnan, Carragher/Arbeloa, Agger/Chiellini, Riise/Aurelio, Pennant/Babel, Gerrard/Sissoko/Leiva/Mascherano/Alonso, Kewell/Leto, Torres/Crouch, Kuyt/Voronin. Riise will slot back to LB once Kewell is fit. + MB+

Newcastle will not be signing Deco or Riquelme or anyone else this Summer. Although the faye move looked probable, it has stalled and Big Sam has confirmed this and has also said he is happy with the current squad. However from watching the Newcastle– Aston Villa game (0–0) I believe we need some flare, someone of Cristiano Ronaldos ability but obviously someone not as expensive.

Liverpool have enquired about an exiting right winger in Brazil called Lulinha. He's strong, fast and basically Brazils answer to the portugeese Nani just on the opposite wing. Nelly

  Celtic

The likelihood is that if Jiri Jarosik and Thomas Gravesen can be sold, even for a minimal amount, they will be. People posting that these players can be sold for £2 million + are unrealistic. These players are not in the first team and therefore considerably less desireable. Both have proven to be a waste of time and money, particularly the latter. Derek Riordan is hanging in the balance. Expect probably at least one more signing, likely a full back and perhaps another higher quality player. Hopefully a centre back as the vast majority are dodgey. Champions League qualification will dictate whether a player such as Diouf etc. will be approached. Strong rumours of a two players resembling Lubo and Henrik spotted at parkhead also. We live in hope.

Rangers

I appeal to any Rangers fan in their right mind suggesting that Rino Gattuso will resign to reconsider. Wishful thinking guys.

Everton will confirm and parade there two new signings tomorow (Friday) at 10: 30. Althought Fernandes signed over 5days ago and Yakubu signed today. Everton wanted to pospone the coformation to coincide with the ballot results. Which will confirm the move to Kirkby.

From a source inside Goodison Park, Yakubu will sign tomorrow, Fernandes will sign before the 31st cut off dste. Also another two players will come in Johan Vogel will sign and expect a surprise bid fro Andy Cole on loan.

Birmingham City will bid again for COLLINS JOHN and want to swap Rowan Vine for Joe Ledley at Cardiff. In another Bluechip for sure move manager Steve Bruce has made a sensational offer for Dean Ashton which has not BEEN TURNED DOWN as yet

  Arsenal are goning to sign

Yoann Gourcuff £2 million back on loan

Van Der Vaart £12 million

Granddi Ngoyi 19 and David N'Gog 18 these to are promising yougnsters from Paris St. Germain Ngoyi is a midfielder and N'Gog is a very very talented forward who has been compared to Anelka

Arsene knows Lassana Diarra will not be signing in this window, Arsene Wenger will wait until January to sign him?

Major news though from the Emirates is a double swoop on Dinamo Zagreb for Luka Modric and Onjen Vukojevic? The fee is likely to be around £16.5 million.

AW now looks to have dropped his interest in Yoan Gouffran as it now seems certain that Franco Di Santo will sign a one year loan deal with a view to a permanant deal.

Keep an eye out for Alberto Morgado (Spain) in the world u17 cup as he will be the next Spanish starlet at Arsenal.
