philip lahm and bosingwa have been earmarked as two potential successors to Gary Neville who's career looks increasingly threatened by injury. lahm is favoured due to his versatility allowing him to play on either side of the CB's. however, after the protratcted pursuit of Hargreaves Bayern and United do not share the best of relationships.
finally, miguel veloso is highly likely to arrive at OT this Summer. for somewheer between £12–18 million. the deal will likely be comprised of a number of add ons. he can play centreback, centremid and provide cover for Evra at left back. in exchange the two Brazilian twins will spend 2 seaqsons on loan at sporting. United have an agreement with sporting for first option on all sporting players and sporting act as a feeder club for young United talents.
manucho will be granted a work permit in time for the 08/09 season replacing Saha as thefourth forward.

Dubai International Capital, the investment arm of the Dubai government are in serious negotiations with Liverpool regarding a takeover. Talks have reached a developing stage but are still extremely delicate. They have already approached various businessmen and women regarding a place on the clubs board and are now extremely confident of taking the reigns of the club. The chief executive of DIC will remain in Liverpool as he is a Reds fan and will be there to run the club on a daily basis unlike the Yanks. Trust me this will go ahead though I would like to tell Reds fans to have patience as I could take weeks even months to takeover. They will review the clubs overall seasonal performance this year before deciding the amount of rebuilding the the squad needs and the managerial situation but Rafa should remian in control. Good morning all – Arsenal to sign 15 year old Ignasi Miquel from Unión Deportiva Cornellà in Spain. He's a 6'3'' centre back who Wenger expects to do a Fabregas and break into the first team at a young age, looking at about three years before he will be ready though. Compensation is being arranged but Arsenal have beaten Man United and Celtic to his signature. He has the same agent as Fabregas and Merida who were both instrumental in his signing. Expect this to be announced in the next couple of weeks as the two clubs sort out compensation.
Hleb is staying after improving dramatically this season, Wenger has always had faith in him. Rosicky will also be staying as Wenger thinks the 2 can compliment each other very well on opposite flanks.
To the bloke who said Arsenal were selling Robin Van Persie as he is injury plagued – are you feeling alright? Anyone who knows anything about Wenger knows he will not sell Van Persie for any amount of money as he see's him being a world beater in the next two years. As for being injury plagued, this season perhaps he has had more than his fair share but that is about it.
Micah Richards' name is still being banded about as a potential signing but again, proper Arsenal fans know Wenger will not spend Mills this Summer so expect one big signing and a few smaller names. Van Der Vaart is a possibility should Arsenal receive an offer on Diaby or if Flamini does not sign a new contract.
