Marcel Seip to saints no way, he is hacked off at plymouth, but seip will go to a championship club not a rival, the lad was playing european football not long ago, he is a quality player, a fee around 750k would be a minimum. Halmosi would be great for argyle, but we can't afford him, Reid watched man utds reserves last night that's where a player will come from. If Jonathan Woodgate was fit he would probably be a first choice player for Spurs, be he isn't.
He has had a groin problem for eighteen months and hasn't played for nearly a year. The last I heard, he is still not able to train and there is no sign that his problem is responding to treatment.
If there was a prospect that he would be fit by January then £3.5m wouldn't buy him. If there isn't, then nobody would pay £3.5m for him.
I am beginning to fear that the most likely outcome is that he will be forced to retire. This will be a blow for Spurs and (I believe) a blow for England as well.

Nigel Adkins will bring in Plymouth's Marcel Seip on an emergency loan and will look to buy the defender in January, if he performs well. The defender was a target for Adkins at Sc thorpe and he still wants to sign him. The player is not happy at Plymouth.
This comes after Southampton Chairman has told him there is money to spend in the January window, believed to be £1m and he will have double this in the summer or triple should the club be promoted.
Matt Oakley is believed to want to finish his career with Southampton and current Leicester boss Paulo Sousa is thought to be prepared to let a transfer go through. The fee will be small.(7)(1)

I heard Liverpool are to turn their attentions to Amauri of Juventus in January, ideal player to play alongside Torres or to play the lone striker role, he's very strong and uses the ball intelligently, he will hold the ball up to link up with the midfield (which we've been missing too long now). . I think he'd be a great addition for us. . Expect any deal to tie in with a deal for Aquilani to go in the opposite direction. . We also need to buy wingers, yes Kuyt and Jovanovic will work hard in these positions but we need players that will keep the width and deliver killer passes and take people on at pace, we've gone too long without these type of players, we saw the difference width made with Riera in his first season, we came 2nd in the league that year! Can Roy not see this problem?

I notice the Guardian has been having a little dig at the users of this site, it has quoted online saying the following.
