Preston have bidded 750k for hume and have also bidded richard chaplow plus 100k and chaplow was all for going barnsley accepted it then changed their minds but if preston don't get hume in january then they will sign him on a free in the summer as his contract is up.(7)(2)

Some of these deals might not happen for one reason or another, but the rumours ive heard have this as the team SAF requested that Gill attempt to assemble.

Now I know that Liverpool and Spurs supporters will have complaints about this, and again, im not saying they will actually move, just that SAF has asked Gill to look into these players to be added to the squad.
SAF comes out in an interview and calls torres a cheat, yet he still tries to sign him, I wonder if torres would like to play under the manager who publicly insulted him LOL
but it does look like a very nice team, of course torres and bale are massive doubts unless you pay the high price tags

I share other people's doubt that Rooney's new five-year contract necessarily means he will be staying at United in the long term. I suspect he still feels he needs a change and a new challenge, but was embarrassed at the prospect of being sold for peanuts and leaving United in the lurch.
I also find myself in agreement with PACMAN (again). City's current finances are by some margin the most unsustainable in the Premiership. I suspect that Sheikh Mansour's long term aim (like Abramovich) is to buy City a seat at the top table and then manage them slowly onto a more sensible financial basis. But the operative word is 'slowly'.
They are now so far from financial stability that it will take at least a decade before they will be able to pay their way - during which time any withdrawal of support by Mansour would leave City crippled.
If I was a City fan I would be enjoying the good times, but would also be worried that it could all implode very quickly.

Houllier wants more attacking options and quality. Gevinho can aslo easily play as a winger.
Villa aslo want a centre mid. Houllier aslo wants this position strengthened. Carrick or Makoun is who Houllier is looking at in jan and will probably sign the one who he doesn't get in the summer.

My dad is friends with Walsall assistant manager and they went to school together, he came round to see us last night and revealed that he and Chris Hutchings do not see eye to eye with tactics and Hutchings refuses to listen to ideas from O'Connor.
They had a bust up last week 3 days before the Tranmere game and did not speak to each other until the Friday. Jeff Bonser has not been to games for a few weeks, and has had no contact with them. Forget getting rid of Hodgson for the time being and see if he can build on the win, performance and style of football against Blackburn. We firstly need rid of Sammy Lee and his Notoriously poor coaching then this waste of space in the squad Itandje, Degen, Kyrgiakos, Insua, Konchesky, Aurelio, Jovanovic, Maxi, Kuyt, Babel, Lucas, Ngog, Poulsen, Aquilani, El Zhar.

Fellow Reds think of how much money we could save in wages alone getting rid of the deadwood/ poor signings in the squad, not to mention transfer fees. Question is who'd take them? I'm sure we could get the players we require by selling these
