  Chelsea

Question. Re Will someone please tell me why are CHELSEA not buying any more players?. . . .

Answer. It's fairly straight forward the monies are no longer available.

That's why I believe John Terry might be on his way to CITY. . Only 2 weeks to go before the season starts, not like the Chelsea we know there preparation has been slow to say the least.
For all the Bristol City fans out there

Just got back from my dads down south and he is saying that Aaron Lescott is off to Blackpool for £100,000.

He also told me we are going to sign Danny Stevens from Torquay.
Celtic will sign Christian Vieri and are set to splash 2 million and Samaras for Cardiff forward Ross Mckormack who has stressed his desire to play for his boyhood heroes this will be all to come through Parkheads gates this summer and will take Mowbrys spending spree to around the 7 million mark which Mowbry was promised going in the other direction is Lee Nalyor who will join a championship club because of the arrival of Danny Fox Celtic will also lose big Bobo to wolves and Daren O'dea who is set to join Alex Mcleish at Birmingham
Xabi Alonso 30mil, Andrea Dossena 7mil and Albert Riera 12mil OUT. .Lucas Biglia 6mil, Lee Cattermole/Tom Huddlestone/Mark Noble (order of preferance) 10–15mil and David Silva 23mil in for Liverpool. .
Notts County are very close to signing jack lester.

Notts county officials were at matlock last night tying up the deal worth 150,000 plus add ons
Barcelona have an agreement with Rangers over there new signing from Shakhtar Donetsk he is a big defender looking for experience in the champions league and will seal the deal with a friendly in Febuary depending if we or they are still in the champions league
Well i have heard some stuff, crouch to arsenal is definately not happening. Be surprised a big name will be coming to emirates with nasri having a big injury, we need someone to fill his boots and only a top class player can do that, im talking about the likes of aguero also a defensive midfielder will be signed as we cannot last a season with playing denilson as the defensive mid. Be surprised as arsenal might look to re sign lassana diarra or they will look to inlar and m.diarra. A striker will also be signed even though we have 2 top strikers (Eduardo and RVP) look to see huntlear joining or even a shock bid for obafemi martins who has always been a fan of wenger. Richards will not join however if kolo leaves be sure to see hangeland fill his place.

greatmanbilbo
This is to TEE and all the other Arsenal fans dreaming of money being spent at the emirates.
Have you noticed how the players linked to arsenal (in the national papers) are not materialising. Lorik Cana now signed for sunderland for ONLY £5mill. Chamahk will soon follow as he is quoted sayin Arsenal have "taken too long!"
Is it just me who knows we have NO money. even the £25mill from adebayor has already dissapeared.
i like the rumours about Mammadou Diarra but at 28 and £10mill+ no way. yes we spent that on arshavin but he is different gravy.
i think wenger may have a second job as cheif scout for sunderland.
1 more piece of business in the tranfer market for arsenal in this window. Fabregas to Leave!!

I think you'll find that Aston Villa are around £80m in debt from before he took over Lerner. This is the debt that Ellis left. Which he (Lerner) has still not cleared.

We are currently in a unstable economic climate so it would be unlikely that Lerner would throw money at a club which consistently make a loss.

Why would he risk his families finances on a football club?

O'Neill will be forced to sell players or shop in the bargain basement.

aston villa are not in any debt look at the clubs financial facts before u make silly comments
ellis did invest money into the club out of his own pocket but when villa failed to qualify for european competition it created debt as players/staff wages were greater than income revenue generated, anyway when ellis sold out to lerner ellis took a loss he could of sold to other potential buyers but found them to be unstable financially.so he accepted a lesser price for is shares from MR LERNER who was financilly sound.

ellis did the best thing for aston villa the club he loves dearly.there was a running deficit of around 4million when he sold up but that was quickly turned around after mr lerner took over, also if ellis had of listened to idiotic fans at the time and ploughed vast amounts of money into the club,we would be in administration now, we would of gone the same way as leeds, for all mr ellis faults he made sure villa stayed within there budget, except of course what i already mentioned when we failed to qualify for europe and we were contracted to players wages. which could not be met cos of revenue loss without european football, now mr lerner is at the elm MON as gaffer as improved us every season,we will buy players that will improve us over the long term not just a short fix, fans are too impatient they want instant success.mr lerner as stated funds are available and its up to MON to get the players he feels will make villa successful,we all know MON treats mr lerners money as if it was is own when it comes to spending in transfer market,do not under estimate MON. he will be man–u next manager after sir alex retires.he is that well respected,

lionheart: villa till i die
Expect to see the following link in the papers early next week

Khalid Boulahrouz – Stuttgart to Aston Villa
  Arsenal:
It will take a cash plus player bid to tempt Fulham into selling Hangeland. therefore the only player who comes to mind is Senderos. However, buying some1 like Hangeland after already having secured the services of Vermaelen will effectively kill the Arsenal career of players such as Djourou, who has the potential to be one of the best in the business. It looks like Gallas is staying this season, Toure too, so it may make better sense to let Gallas, Silvestre and maybe even Toure leave at the end of the coming season, then secure some1 like Hangeland and Richards/Sakho. In midfield, all Arsenal fans are united in the wish for a DCM. Diaby is an offensive player, Denilson can't tackle but is good going forward. Song is definitely one able to play the role well, but we need some1 who can stamp authority on the game, and Song will take time for that. Expect Matuidi to come in, unless Wenger decides to wait to the last minute to bring in a gem nobody expects. Up front, it will be Huntelaar or nobody. Crouch will not come to Arsenal, Chamakh will do what Cana has done and sign for a mid–table club. No offence to French football, but top of the league french teams would struggle to stay in the top half of the premier league and their players follow suit. Expect Vela, Rosicky and Traore to fill the LM role til Nasri returns from injury. Im just a bit worried that if Eboue leaves he will not be replaced, meaning inadequate cover for Walcott and Sagna respectively. and a quick word on Adebayor. He did well for us, i wish him all the best, but im satisfied he's gone, because of the return we have got on him. his commitment was an issue i do admit, it was the amount we stood to get for him that told me he should go. Finally Ashley cole, needs some toilet paper for his mouth because crap is the only stuff that comes out of it.

Just off the phone with my mate who told me he saw Arjen Robben entering a hotel not far from Old Trafford. Robben to sign for United? You heard it here first.
–Mr. X
The reason Celtic tried to push through Daniel Fox's transfer before the 11pm Champions League qualifier deadline was so that they could use the rule of registering one late player for someone else. That someone else I have been informed was Gary O'Connor for £2 mill. The only stumbling block is that O'Connor's manager Alex McLeish (being a former Rangers manager) is reluctant to do Celtic any favours and did privately offer O'Connor to Walter Smith's Rangers on a loan deal but Smith was not interested in the player due to their history when he was Scotland manager. James McFadden was also interesting Mowbray but a double swoop is unlikely due to the player being injury prone. Christian Vieri also has been given a week to make up his mind on a move to Celtic Park.
SHOOTER
I have heard from a reliable source (inside anfield) that rafa has concluded his problems in the team. He insists that david silva and david villa will be signed next month, a combined cost between 55–60 million. David Silva is a versitile player, who can cover kuyt or remain as a left mid. People may laugh at this, but david villa has said ''he will only play in the epl if it is to combine a strike force with torres and to be managed by benitez'' (the sun newspaper). i am unaware of any other transfers that will happen within the club but these two are for sure.

mark my words, inTHEknow
Ive heard some major aston villa rumours. . apparently eidur gudjohnsen is lining up a 6.3million move to villa, and john 'o' shea is also being lined up for a 12.7million move from man u to villa
Any1 else think harry redknapp is a cock???????!!!

every time sunderland have expressed an interest in a player harry turns their heads with a move to london then in the case of crouch says he has adequate cover and a striker is not a priority.

expect bent and chamakh to sign for sunderland by the end of next week
steve finnan and Cana to be signed by sunderland also in the next week or 2
Bruce will make a move for a centre half and 1 final attempt for cattermole at 8 million to test wigan

crouch to liverpool from the money made from xabi alonso sale.
joaquin to be signed by liverpool also

sorry arsenal fans yaya won't be joining his brother. had to burst that bubble.

  Man City News. . .

Headlines today. RIO RULES OUT A MOVE TO CITY. . Sorry mate your not invited to the PARTY,

City will carry on pursuing there targets Terry, Lescott and Toure
To the guy who posted this:

Lerner has nothing to do with Citibank. He used to be chairman of MBNA but no longer is. The only projects he is involved with is Villa and the Cleveland Browns in the NFL.

Lerner has used money from his family trust to fund Villa over the past three years, which is why we are not in debt, because he has not had to borrow the money. And he still has that trust available to him. No major improvement? Villa finished 16th before he took over, now they have finished 6th twice in a row.

Don't believe yourself. Villa will spend money on players that MON needs, and Lerner will back him 100% in the transfer market. He has shown it the past three seasons, and he will again.

I have been told that Villa will spend £40m to firm up the spine of the team

Stephen Warnock and 3 Real Madrid players.

Huntelaar
Pepe
Van De Vaart

It will still not be enough but it will keep us in the top 10
Heard through a mate that if essien is to leave the bridge it will be in a swap deal with essein and 15 mill for pato.
Anyone know about this?

The horse
Arsenal news is Arsene is watching the Yaya Toure situation with interest, as he is the preferred choice for the defensive midfield role. Klaas Jan Huntelaar or Peter Crouch as replacement Adebayor… An English centre back will be signed, Either Matthew Upson or Micah Richards.
Players leaving will be Adebayor(left), Eboue and Senderos with some players going out on loan.
Arsenal Starting line up for season Almunia, Sagna, Vermaelen/Upson or Richards, Clichy, Kolo Toure, Yaya Toure, Walcott/Nasri, Arshavin/Rosicky, Fabregas, Huntelaar or Crouch, Van Persie.
It annoys me the fact that Man city are driving the prices up of average players. As soon as Man city’s name is mentioned with a player, that player’s price automatically rises. I am not blaming Man city but this is becoming ridiculous. Mind you thanx for the £25m…
ps. I was the first person to post the Crouch to Arsenal rumour about 2 months ago!

Tee
Scott Rendall and Jack Lester were both seen outside meadow lane this morning.

both expected to sign in next few days

also notts have a had a 700,000 bid for billy sharp turned down
Firstly to the person who said essien is not a dm he is the best defensive midfielder in the world, fact and im not a chelsea fan im an arsenal fan, so take up a new hobbie because football clearly isn't for you. secondly and to the interesting stuff, crouch to sign for backburn, 80% truth from good sources, due to the fact they are the only team willing to meet his valuation price!

Spurs to look at david wheater as struggling for fit defenders, just a rumour at the mo will confirm more when im told!

Arsenal have no one on the radar at the mo despite constant rumours, aw is just waiting for the perfect deal as always!

until the next time the guru departs!!
According to rumours Notts have signed Rendall for 100,000 and a 3 year contract

signing announced next week
Heart Of Midlothian Football Club Update

I have been told from two extremely reliable sources that the following deals are about to be concluded.
Garry O'Connor will arrive on loan for a season. Hearts have beaten Crystal Palacer for his signature. O'Connor wants regular first team football after Alex McLeish told the striker he no longer features in his first team plans.O'Connor wants to return home and will take a wage cut despite Birmingham continuing to pay a large percentage of his wage. Andrew Driver however will not leave to join Birmingham despite McLeish offering O'Connor plus cash for the winger.
Hearts will add Rui Fonte to the squad on a free transfer. Laszlo has been tracking the striker for some time.
Jan Koziak will also sign once he passes his medical.
Players will also leave. Marius Žaliūkas will be the first to leave for £2 million with two Russian clubs after his services.
Celtic have inquired about Rubén Palazuelos and Michael Stewart but as yet no bid has been submitted to Hearts.
Everton just can't seem to get players to sign . . for the second summer running. Moyes finds great targets but greedy guts clubs like Spurs (Naughton) Liverpool (remember Sissoko and now perhaps Elm) Newcastle (Barton and Smith last year) and even Sunderland (Cana) offer bigger salaries. Last season Moyes had to make last minute, almost desperation signings . . and the side finished 5th and made the Cup Final. The man is a genius . . but can he keep pulling rabbits out of a hat?
Expect low level signings only – Joe Ledley, Nigel Reo–Coker and a couple of Man City fringe players (possibly Onuoha and Johnson) may be the lot for the Toffees.
Whoever said "Now Big Ross is off Cardiff will enter the race for Ched Evans now Dave will have some money too play with", he already signed for Sheffield United earlier in the week.

Expect Maric & Holt to be Norwich players early next week.
Arsenal are in for valencia's juan mata, deal close to being agreed apparentley!

as for balleto, i'm only reporting facts. . wait and see!

fox in the box ;)
Will someone please tell me why are CHELSEA not buying any more players? We really do need some pace and creativity in the squad, the right flank to be specific. Then we must also have another proven goalscorer in our ranks, also I can't understand all this nonsense over ESSIEN moving to ManU.Why the hell would he do that?If anyone has any information regarding my questions please do reply.
Im not claiming to have over heard anyone or know somone connected but lets face it arsenal never sign big names and always buy a maximum of 2 players in both transfer windows combined (nasri summer and arshavin winter) were not gonna sign all these players people like to think so even if id like to see it to. We won't get hunterlaar or any other big names, we may at best get eden hazard. I think the FA Cup is our best chance next season and 3rd place, as for cash converters (Man city) keep buying the players the big 4 don't want and im sure you can get into 5th.
I can bet you this will happen in the Emirates.

Arsenal Will sign
HUNTLEAR 15 million
CANA 7 million
HANGELAND 6 million + silvestre
MICHAH RICHARDS P/S + WE GET 3 MILLION

ARSENAL OUT
EBOUE 10 MILLION FIORENTINA
SILVESTRE Fulham p/x
TOURE MAN CITY P/S

ARSENAL SPEND 3 MILLION AND LEFT WITH 3 MILLION.Because the other money goes on Adebayors Transfer

Wengre will get hangland to replace Toure. And with eboue going he will get Richards For right Back cover and also he is centre back. All these deal finalised on Thursday 30th July 09.SO there can play in the Emirates Cup

FROM AP7 LEGEND
Dear Goatman Gary, i think all your predictions will not happen. Stop saying rubbish, Obafemi will never go to Sunderland, he'll stay at Newcastle and take us back up. Nobody cares about your goldfish or your bets, youre going to lose. My mate puts the numbers on shirts at Newcastle and he said.
Newcastle Ins. .

Bristol City will announce the signing of FC Dallas striker Kenny Cooper as soon as the USA's involvement in the CONCACAF Gold Cup is over. The fee is $1.75m cash and he signed a 3 year contract last Friday.

Arny.
Just heard this from a very reliable source! Alonso and Arbeloa will be going to Real Madrid in exchange for Sergio Ramos plus cash. This deal should be complete in the next week.

Essien will not leave chelsea, he signed a 5 year deal in january and said he was very happy with how he was treated when he was injured.

Essien is not a DM, mikel is.

one of terry or carvahlo will leaave no replacements

mikel, drogba, malouda signed new deals and terry and cole have offers on the table

ancelotti will bring one player from milan. mancienne is the future and will not be sold and will get first team action.

if terry leaves robihno will arrive along with about 10–15M
  Liverpool News
Rafa Benitez has agreed a £21.5m deal with Valencia for David Silva. The deal will go through as soon as Xabi Alonso moves to Real Madrid for £32m.
Alberto Aquilani will NOT make the switch to Merseyside as Rafa has been turned off by his injuries. He has turned is attentions to Javi Martinez and is weighing up a £12m bid.
One last signing will be Adam Lallana from Southhampton for a fee of £3.5m
Just to correct a mistake I earlier put it wasn't Dossena and cash for Lavezzi(as we all know he plays for Lazio) it's for Hamisk.

The 12th man
In response to a previous post, here are the REALISTIC transfer targets and players POSSIBLY joining Cardiff for 2009–10.

OUT: Ross McCormack (Sunderland £4m)
Joe Ledley (Everton £3.5m)
Steve McPhail (Forest £750m)
Paul Parry (Doncaster £500k)
Peter Whittingham (Leicester City £1m)
Kevin McNaughton (Portsmouth – £7m)

INS: Steve Smith (Rangers – Free)
Liam Miller (exchange from Sunderland)
James Perch (exchange from Forest)
Victor Anichebe (season loan from Everton)
Brian Stock (exchange from Doncaster)
Charlie Adam (Rangers – Nominal)
Lewis Stevenson (Hibernian £2m)
Dietmar Hamman (Unattatched – Free)

PR will tell DJ that more money will have to come into the club than go out this transfer window, as Cardiff will need to ease their debt burden.

If Hamman signs, he will become club captain.

Van der Meyde will be offered a trial at Cardiff, but he is also attracting attention from Plymouth Argyle, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United.

Patrik Berger will not be a Bluebird as he's finishing his career in the Czech Republic.

JonesTheCantonBlue.
  Arsenal transfer update –
ins:
Thomas Vermaelen (£10m) – done deal
Micah Richards (swap deal)
Klaas Jan Huntelaar (£15m)
outs:
Emmanuel Adebayor (£25m) – done deal
Kolo Toure (swap deal – £3m + Micah Richards)
With John Terry looking set to stay with Chelsea and Everton refusing to sell Joleon Lescott, Man City will move in for their third choice centre back target – Kolo Toure. This will require a fee of around £10m, or a swap deal with £3m + Micah Richards going in Arsenal's direction. Wenger may be keen on the swap deal, as he is a keen admirer of Richards, who would give us some much needed physical strength and height at the back, and would be a ready made replacement to play alongside Vermaelen. Wenger is poised to make a £15m swoop for Real Madrid foward Klaas Jan Huntelaar, who's move to Stuttgart has been scrapped, and is also attracting attention from Spurs. However the promise of Champions League football will see the Dutchman prefer a move to the Emirates, who was dissapointed by being left out of Real's champions league squad last season.

In Arsene We Trust
Liverpool to have new major investment

gillett is selling his stake in lfc tom hicks is reducing his stake to 40% with investment coming from the uae tom hicks will stay and biuld that sucker the stadium cos hes the best in the business at building them
My mate was in a brumy Club at the end of June and bumped into Pennent who informed him that he hated pompey and was going to spain, old news I know but the interesting thing is he mentioned about Aberloa and Alonso going to Madrid and apparently Real have been in talks with Liverpool for months and this is the real reason Carra lost it with them both. Arbeloa had been boasting in training about moving to a bigger club and got lazy in that game when Carra nearly punched him (he should of!!) and Alonso felt he needed to get involved after the game to defend his mates actions. The major rift in the club which is being documented is only between these two and the squad. Hence why Rafa wants rid but only at the right price!!

My mate asked who was coming in but pennent had no idea as Rafa never discusses the players coming in, so as to keep the squad on there toes.

you didn't hear this from me, you heard it from pennent

The Black hat
Have it on good authority that celtic have signed

Cech – Lb from WBA and Cox from Coventry

Deals done b4 11pm tonight ( thursday )

IN TONY WE TRUST
A source close to the club has informed me that Notts County are in talks with Flora of Estonia's Keeper Mihkel Aksalu and midfielder Martin Vunk.
  MAN CITY

My mates dad worked with gary cook at nike and was on the phone to him today in south africa talking about all the money and the signings city had bought. Apparently cook said that if city were not top four by november the ex–real madrid manager vicente del bosque is being lined up with ex–real fernando redondo as assistant at christmas and will sanction a £200m spending spree!!
To the guy who thinks danny wellbeck could go to blackpool on a season long loan, well saf has stated that wellbeck could be the surprise package for englands world cup squad and i don't feel blackpool would be the place to make a go of it from.
if wellbeck goes on a season loan it will be at a pl club with wigan and stoke possibilities. saf will only allow this to happen though if he brings in another striker which could add further reason to believe that the arrival of villa could be imminent.
saf will then end his acquisitions for the year unless yaya toure becomes available or if essien gets the wish he so desires with a move to ot.
other moves that are in the pipeline include christian poulsen moving to arsenal, tuncay to liverpool along with catermole once alonso goes, lescott to man city and pirlo to chelsea which could force the essien move through.
Man u 2sign esien and aguero in last week of window
Eidur Gudjohnsen was nowhere near Lennox Town last night nor was Sylvinho. Gudjohnsen will want at least 50k a week wherever he goes and Sylvinho is too old now to play left back at 35 and was wanted by Gordon Strachan. Mowbray has so far refused to sign any targets of Strachan's which include Stephen Fletcher, James McCarthy and now Sylvinho. Daniel Fox from Coventry has signed for over £2 mill which leaves Lee Naylor free to go back home. Wolves are interested in taking him back and a bid of 500k will be enough but will face competition from Aston Villa. Mowbray is also interested in signing Leon Best from Coventry for £1 mill. Best has a year left on his contract and has recently won his first Republic of Ireland cap so ticks all the boxes. Mowbray said that he will sign four players and has now signed three. He wants one more striker to play with Fortune. A move for Best will only be considered after Christian Vieri makes up his mind on a move to Celtic Park. After turning down Blackburn Rovers' contract offer, he is waiting to see if Celtic make the Champions League.
In other news, a strange one, is that Walter Smith may make a move for former Rangers and current Celtic reserve goalkeeper Mark Brown for a nominal fee.
SHOOTER
Billy Davies will sign Dean Leacock 1.5 million from Derby County. Elliot Ward 1 million from coventry and bring Andy reid back from sunderland for 2.5 million.
That will be the end of Forests Signings for this summer expect these to be tied up early next week.

FatPostBoy
Nikola Kalinic Hadjuk Split – Pompey $5.65M
Big Liverpool news, Masch and Alonso will both be sold, price 35m each. Masch to Barcelona and Alonso to Real. These deals will happen in the next week. Liverpool will have a further 70m to spend on the 5m they have left, the Rafa hit list which will start next week is as follows. Sneijder 10m, Martinez 10m, Simao 10m, Young 25m leaving a further or so 20m but maybe more if Dosenna and Vooring leave. The big suprise is Trezequet will be a Liverpool player for a very small fee. Liverpool should have about 15m or so to beef up the defence some more with Distin on the way and Hutton from Spurs. Liverpool will be a major force due to the 2 sales and this is the only way Rafa can do it as the owners will not stump up the required cash
  Stoke city

dean ashton and dean whitehead to sign by the end of next week.

i think man utd fans should start to wave the premier league goodbye as your no longer the big team in manchester you will struggle for the top 4 without ronaldo i think its time all the glory hunters at old trafford put a blue shirt on from now on or come to the potteries to watch the future european champions
I can't believe some of the rubbish wrote on here, can anyone else realise that if Mascherano and Alonso leave Liverpool then that will lessen their chances of winning the Prem – even if Aqualani and David Silva are brought in as replacements – I'm sorry but I watch alot of European league football and they are not adequate replacements. Liverpool to sign one winger, one centre–back, and one left–back.

Possible ins:

FW – Franck Ribery
CB – Matthew Upson
LB – Wayne Bridge (doesn't like Man City)

– Justin Knowsmore
Liverpool have just about completed all there deals and over the next week all will become clear rafa has sold all his intended parties but wanted to finalise his incomeing deals first.
silvan distan is not a target just a decoy for his real buy micah richards a £10 million deal has been agreed he will cover both rightback and centreback positions but was held up because of micahs illness lee cattermole will allso arrive £7 million buy wednesday as cover for mascharano who will stay for 1 more year.
both of these deals have not been anounced because rafa has been targeting philip lahm to solve are leftback position as he feels insua needs one more years experiancethis deal for £16 million has now been completed and will allso be announced by wednesday of next week.
rafa will sighn fabian delph for £6 million with jay spearing and kizilieth nemeth going on season loan to leeds.
no right midfielder will be sighned this year as rafa sees glen johnson as kuyts backup.
but the biggest news of all will come on saturday the 1st of august the buys of david silva and david villa will both be realeased in a 55million deal (10million was paid in january 35 million will be paid up front and 10 million over next 2 years.
alonso, dossena, voronin, arbeloa, degan, itandje, and leto, will cover some of the cost.
rubbish your thinking wait and see remember this post
Things to clear up : To the guy who was talking about the Burj Al Arab being sold – unlikely as the Abu Dhabi royal family own a majority stake in it as a result of paying for at least half its construction and it runs at 90% occupancy by the Saudi Royals(pay for the rooms and don't show)who keep it profitable. Man City will not be outspent by any Dubai takeover group if any buy a club ( UNLIKELY) – The Al Nayans are the richest family on the planet and give Dubai a hell of a lot of money and will never allow themselves to be over shadowed by their cousins.

Anyways – Rangers are skint i'm afraid so I don't expect any major signings but don't be suprised if Alan "shagger" McGregor moves south for 5+ million thus allowing Tonel to come in for about 2million – The youth lads to come through!!!

Monty
To the people saying Essien to Man U. This will never happen. I know Michael and he would never move to Man U because of the way he was treated there a number of years ago when he was on trial. He has never forgotten how they made him feel for taking a training shirt without permission. They treated him like a common criminal and I know for a fact he has never forgiven them. Michael does not want to leave Chelsea but they are pushing him out and his agent is in contact with a number of clubs around Europe. He is leaning towards Italy although one of the big teams in Spain also want him.
To the people saying Robinho will not be sold as Man City do not need the money. .It is not for money that he will go but the players wishes. He does not want to stay at the club and had told them he wants to leave. From what I can find out he has been made an offer from a team expecting to be challenging on all fronts THIS season and he has told his agent to make it happen. Cook has told his agent they want at least £50m so all this talk of a £30m bid being accepted is nonsense.
West Ham have not given up on signing Mancini, and a deal for Gudjonnson has been agreed it is now down to personal terms. A couple of German teams are interested in Faubert but are only interested in loan with option to buy deals. Quashie is likely to be heading up the A1 to Notts County, they want him on loan for the season and will pay all his wages. They will them offer him a new contract as he will be a free agent. West Ham are also negotiating with Real Madrid trying to do a deal for Daniel Opare. He is a young right back and although he is only 18 (19 November) he is considered to be a great prospect. Real Madrid are willing to consider a years loan with an option to buy, but with a built in buy back option, a complicated deal that may take a week or two to sort out.
  Notts County to Sign

Scott Rendall
Jack Lester
Seb Carole
Adam Kay

all signed before start of season
  To Red Lenin

I work for a firm of lawyers and have talked this over with a real employment hot shot. The real problem is if the any non UK players have an appearance clause written into their contract then a ruling that would prevent them from playing equates to a restraint of trade. It seems as if its this and not EU employment rules which the big clubs are looking at.
I think that essien is forcint a move 2 old trafford
and utd will sign either david villa or ash young bu the 30th july this will happen
essien is most likely
Looks like the Crouch to Arsenal rumours are picking up some steam. It's funny because Goatface Gary was the first one who said it was going to happen after overhearing Crouch on the phone to Arsene. Everyone laughed at Goatboy then, me included, he talks like a 5 year old! Maybe he was onto something though.

'fox in the box' – stop copying Goatmans rumours like they were your idea, it's embarrassing!

My tip of the week is Alan Smith to Bolton.

Now Big Ross is off Cardiff will enter the race for Ched Evans now Dave will have some money too play with. . I personally think that Leroy Lita is worth a gamble seeing has Dave Jones always brings the best out of strikers. In the midfield Dave will make an attempt to praise away Wayne Routledge. I personally would love to see him and Chris Burke run rings around defences at the new stadium.
I played golf today with an ex Manchester United player (now working for MUTV) who told me that the Ronaldo deal was complete last summer! so Fergie was obviously playing "mind games" when he said he wouldn't "sell that mob a virus". And he told me that fergie is putting up a smoke screen by saying Manchester United will not be signing anymore players! as United will tie up deals for David Villa & Michael Essien upon their return to Manchester next week!! Chelsea will then sign Pirlo & Pato!!

Hello boys and girls, Goatman G here, i've got a new one for you. Again, unlike the Crouch rumour, this one doesn't have any hard evidence, apart from my thinking power.
Obafemi Martins will leave the toon and join Sunderland, i reckon. Sunderland bid 12mil for Crouch but couldn't get him, so theyve got money and want a striker. They wanted Cisse but the exchange rate made him too expensive, so i really think they'll go for Martins. He lives nearby, he's used to the premiership, and he's not a bad striker. Newcastle arent rivals now theyre in league 6 or whatever, and they need the cash quick.

I've got no money left to bet on this, but when i get my winnings from Crouch–Arsenal and Robinho–ManU, i'll bet it all on this. .
Obafemi Martins – Sunderland £9.7
Then I'll buy a car (metro)and a new tank for my goldfish.
