Manchester United Transfer News–
Sir Alex loves to get his business done and dusted early on in the summer however this season it will be different because of the world cup. Players will be in africa to showcase their skills and ability on a world stage. The usual names will be banded around as always, but ferguson's main aim is to retain what he already has, essential players like vidic, rooney, evra will follow Nani's footstep in penning a new long term deal.
The positions in which Sir alex will strengthen is on the central and wing/fwd positions. Argentina have messi and another wing wizard in the making in Angel Di Maria, he has expressed his desire to put the rumours to one side and focus on winning the portuguese title and the europa league with benfica, before his future is discussed. He is highly admired and fergie will certainly welcome a player with such majestic skill and first touch to his squad. However his first choice is David Silva, has he can play off the front man and he can hug the left flank. A bid of 25 million will be made for silva in the summer after the world cup and if everything looks good to valencia, Manchester united will have a new number 7 in the spaniard, however if the offer is not accepted, di maria may be brought in instead, depending on his world cup performance.

Paul Lambert will not b coming to celtic hes not intrested and neither is moyes. The favourites r neil lennon if he does a gd job till end of season, wullie mcstay as he is only on a 1 yr contract with ujipest and he is well respected within the celtic community and mark highes. Enough of all these silly rumours about Celtic there will be no players bought until a new manager is in place.Jocky Scott is the man in the frame at the moment and im told is very interested in the post, money will be tight as TM wasted so much over the past 9 months. Dermot Desmond is fed up with all the foreign players coming in and would like to see more UK/Irish players signing.
So i am afraid sad times for Celtic and with Rangers getting stronger and major money coming in soon it looks like another runaway title next year for the teddy bears.WATP

To the delusional man utd fans who are making their own rumors up stop. i m ean firstly man utd is in a massive debt so the owners are not really in a position to fund fergy with the funds to buy a world class player. if anybody is baught it will be a cheap young signing or money used from the sale of a current player.

the person who said

Jack RodewllJame MilnerY.GourcuffS.Jovetic/Mario Balotalli
jack rodwell is the only realistic player that could sign for man utd. i mean jesus christ are you really that stupid to think gourcuff would join man utd with your current midfeilders? what are you gona do play him in the reserve team ? im pretty sure james milner signed a new contract, balotalli is on valencia's radar and nothing on theee internetz supports the rumor of him joining ma utd.

realistic signings for man utd.
green
rodwell
fabianski
and van der vaart.
all are very unlikely to happen aswell but are the closest to real rumors for man utd im affraid to say.
im still laughing at the guy who said david villa and david silva are gona join hahahaha. with the current issue with money at man utd and their debt i don't think they are in any position to blow 50mil on a 29 year old striker and buy another midfeilder for the hordes of midfeilders alredy on the team.

26 Mar 2010 14:41:48
Not a rumour

Keith Millen will be named Bristol City manager on a permanent basis and given a two year contract.

26 Mar 2010 14:32:44
Celtic trying to lure David Moyes to Celtic, Moyes is interested and a clause in his contract will allow him to leave for next to nothing. Celtic have to show him some ambition first by giving him control of all football matters and hefty transfer funds ss they did with Martin O'Neil.

If this falls through then Celtic to start interviewing for the post with Billic, McCarthy, Zola and Hughes on the list.

All signing on hold except youth signings till the new manager draws up a shortlist. Lennon an Mjallby to be kept on at the club as coaches.

26 Mar 2010 14:30:47
Adam Hammill to leeds? what planet you on like mate he's one of our best players it dunt mean that texiera has come in on loan from westbrom that we have to kick Hammill out the team, if not better he is just as good as Texiera.

Right ive got some Liverpool news but obviously i don't know for sure. All i know is that the Rhone Group has been in talks with liverpool over buying a majority share in the club. Apparently it won't be announced untill after the 4th champions league spot has been decided as this will change the price they have to pay for their shares. I have been told this is why mascherano has been putting off contract talks, however christian purslow has reasurred him that new investment is comming in so he is now in talks over extending his contract. As for the new stadium, apparenlty one of the conditions of taking the majority shares at liverpool is that the Rhone Group contribute to building the new stadium and the price has gone down from 450m to near the original price quoted in 2007 of 250m (Obvioulsy with china easing on their importing of steel, now the olympic stadiums are done)

If this is all true which i believe it is then the capacity of the stadium is gonna be around 80,000. The reason for this is that there is a 15yr waiting list for season tickets at liverpool so 60,000 seats will be guarenteed by these season tickets.

Dont have a go at me if you don't believe it, like i said its just what i have heard.

PL Transfer Targets Summer 2010 Chelsea

DECO: The options; RVDV, Silva, Dzagoev, Pjanic, Teixeira, Alcantara, Danny, Hernanes, Eriksen.

Its no secret that Chelsea are chasing RVDV hard he is a big chance to sign. Teixeira, Dzagoev and Pjanic are young, but we could certainly use their youth, and with Lampard ageing signing two of them, but only bringing one to the Bridge for now is certainly not out of the question. David Silva is in the mix but there will be a lot of competition for his signature. Thiago Alcantara would be good, but I'd rather him to come in a few years, maybe a loan ? Danny would be a good signing but perhaps not quite as good as David Silva or Kaka. Hernanes is supposedly one of the most promising footballers in the world, and he may be a good signing. Christian Eriksen has also been attracting a lot of interest.

MALOUDA: options; di Maria, Mata, Urreta, Ki, Hazard

di Maria is the obvious choices, but again there will be war for his signature. Mata is a good proposition with his left wing experience. Urreta would be great alongside Kakuta or di Maria he's probably a 2012 signing. Ki Sung–Yueng is talented (interest from SAF) and would be a boon for Chelsea merch sales in Korea. Hazard has been very impressive but I think we'd face a stiff fight from AW for him.

BELLETTI and FERREIRA: the options; S Taylor, N Subotic, D Luiz, Darijo Srna

Taylor is estimated at about 9 million and considerably more for Subotic, this may come down to price. D Luiz however is probably the best option. Srna could come in to act like Zhirkov on the right though.

JOE COLE; Options; Schwiensteiger, Assulin

Schweinsteiger is the ideal replacement for Ballack but he could also replace Joe Cole. Gai Assulin would be a great get but we are competing with AFC for him.

ASHLEY COLE: Options: Vargas, Dani Alves

Vargas is the only real option I see, i hope we don't loose Ashley, though Vargas is good. Alves obvioulsy plays on the right and is not a real option to replace Ashley, but could be part of swap deal with Barca for Ashley

ANELKA: Options: Villa, Pato, Aguero, Gomis, Lacina Traore, Balotelli

Villa is expensive and ageing but good, Pato seems destined to one day join Chelsea, Aguero should if he stops mucking us about, Bafetimbi ‘Little Drogba' Gomis is strong talented and young, while Lacina Traore at 6'8 would obviously help us maintain our size advantage. Balotelli is an outside chances but a good one.

KALOU: Options: Nilmar, Morimoto, Neymar

Morimoto is a bright young star in Serie A, and would blast our Japanese Merch sales into the stratosphere (no load to carry either as he's also interesting Fergie). Villreal's cash crisis may see Nilmar move to the Bridge, which would be a good move. Neymar; it seems to be a lot of money to me but there is a fair bit of talk about him.

Youth Striker: Romelu Lukaku

GK: Igor Akinfeev is now probably a highly probable signing given Hilario's recent performances, a fight between him and Cech for the No1 spot would be a good problem to have.

26 Mar 2010 10:44:12
United to move for the following players (Fall–back option in parenthesis)

Villa–Valencia 40m (Suarez–Ajax 30m)
Gourcuff–Bourdeaux 23m (Defour–standard 15m)
Silva–Valencia 25m (Hazard–Lille 8m, Sanchez–Udinese 20m)

In addition to Smalling, expect one or two additional youngsters to be brought in. A GK will be left one more year when VDS retires. And thanks to the Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and City supporters who keep thinking that by listing Rooney as leaving united that it might actually happen and your clubs might have a chance, it keeps me laughing daily!

26 Mar 2010 10:12:42
To the guy who wrote celtic are signing bellamy, senderos, mccarthy, dorrans, fletcher, rensing, guthierez, ramis and collochini – do u realy believe celtic will go and spend £35 million coz that is what ur sayin well i suppose if they are going to pay £4 million for a guy who contract is up they must have alot of money (senderos, bellamy is on more money than robbie keane so i can't see a pay cut happening. james mccarthy has broken into the team at wigan and the fans love him so he won't be leaving, dorrans is being chased by liverpool, man city, and man utd and the price is over 10 million so who ever your source is you need to sack him i don't have a source i don't have any FACTS like u but ive heard hearsay that celtic are trying to lure mark hughes and he is interested.

its a rumours website no1 on here nos what goes on inside the clubs u support we all hear pub talk and when ur m8s tell u they have a source then u come on here spouting uv got a source it a all a big circle

the bhoy wonder

Arsenal Reality!
Sakho will not be signed! Vermaelen is a 1st choice centre back and is always a garanteed starter. If Wenger spends over £10m on another centre back, which Sakho would easily cost, then Wenger would want that defender to be a regular starter also next to Vermaelen. If that centre back is Sakho then Wenger would have TWO left footed centre backs which Wenger does not like and has said this many times.

Chamahk is the ONLY striker coming in. Jay Simpson will be on the fringes of the 1st team next season.

there is a big possibility Vela could leave. he has failed to reach his potential and in many opinions has actually got worse since he arrived.

Sagna and Clichy are staying. Gibbs second choice left back with Eboue being back up at right back but will continue playing in a more attacking role

players out are Fabianski, Senderos, Merida (unfortunately) and Silveste. Almunia will remain number one next season with Mannone the number 2 (excellent displays this season has earned him promotion).

Wenger will ATTEMPT to sign Hazard also. he has said he is happy in France but his club may be willing to sell if Wenger delivers a tempting offer for him. this kid is going to be world class!

Rockwhiler. a real gooner!!

West Ham rumour:

Most people know that Zola is persona non grata with the two David Porns, and will be gone by the summer irrespective of league position (especially after barring one of them from a team meeting) but a new rumour emerging is that THEY could well sell up if they do not get permission from the IOC to move into the Olympic Stadium in Stratford (London) for the 2012–13 season.

26 Mar 2010 08:19:28
Celtic.

Just heard that an approach will be made for Paul Lambert. Expect this on Monday.
Very good source

Hi there to the Villa prankster who believes Reo Conker is worth £7.5m!! C'mon pal, I am a devoted Villa fan but he wasn't worth what we paid for him in the first place. If we get £4m for him then that is a bonus. Ask why MON is not playing him and you will understand my thinking. MON has to buy a goal machine. Villa will not make 4th this seaon and the failure is down to MON. Now Mowbray has gone, the strong rumour is that Keane will not be keen to stay any longer than is neccessary and next season he will be at Villa Park. Spurs have too many front options and happy 'Arry will have to part with someone. McCarthy is too old, Doyle is not a goal machine but Keane is still under 30 and scores. How about a player exchange, Keane for Reo Coker?? Interesting about Mowbrays departure, how did St Mirren put 4 past Celtic? Betting coup?? No information. Player power, now that's an interesting point. Who does have the power at a club? The supporters, the manager, the board, the players? Whoever it is, they got there own way and Mowbray is another statistic for the unemployed

"26 Mar 2010 02:33:36
Too the genius that said Reo–Coker for 3–4 million? We bought him for 7.5m, we're not going to take that big of a loss for him. He's far too good, easily worth 7.5m+

To the guy who said Senderos for 4m. He's on a free this summer.

Real rumours: Villa will be going for McCarthy (3.5m), Doyle (5m) and a play maker. I've heard a lot about VDV (10m)"

However, has Reo–Coker's value improved? No, he hasn't played that much, and is most likely unwanted. There is no way that NRC is worth more than £6m. I can see a cut–down price deal being done for him.

From what I've heard VDV is practically a Chelsea player..make of that what you will.

There is a lot of action expected at Celtic Park this summer, with Multi–Billionaire Celtic owner Dermot Desmond expected to finally flex his financial muscle to improve the shocking state of affairs at the Glasgow outfit.

The new manager has not been decided but will most likely be appointed in the summer. Neil Lennon has taken charge on a game–by–game basis and he will be amongst the contendors for the job in the summer, although he will be an outsider.
The board are keeping their options open, but the likely contendors are though to be Mark Hughes, if he is still available, Slaven Billic, who Celtic knocked back in the summer in favour of Tony Mowbray and Paulo Sousa of Swansea. Outsiders are though to be Neil Lennon, Mick McCarthy, Lubo Moravcik and Giovanni Trappatoni. Paul Lambert is not being considered.

Dermot Desmond and Peter Lawell will want to have a say in the transfers, after Tony Mowbrays disastrous signings.

Marc Antoine–Fortune will be leaving, Landry N'Guemo will not be signed permanently, contrary to newspaper reports. Josh Thompson will be sent back to stockport on loan, Paul McGowan will be signing for Dundee, Lee Naylor is set to join Hull City, whether they are relegated or not.

Giorgos Samaras will be next in the clearout, ending his woeful reign in the SPL, joining either West Ham, Fulham or Wolves.

Mark Wilson is set to sign for Middlesbrough alongside Niall McGinn. Paddy McCourt is also leaving joining ambitous Divison One outfit Dundee, alongside Paul McGowan.

Edson Braafheid will return to Bayern Munich at the end of his loan spell.
Moves will be made to sign Robbie Keane permanently, but it is though that Keane will return to Tottenham, although he may sign for another premier league club, with Sunderland, Birmingham and Aston Villa though to be preparing bids. The Irishman does not want to stay at struggling Celtic as he want's to prolong his International Career with the Republic of Ireland. He feels his position would be under threat playing in the SPL, with Kevin Doyle, Andrew Keough, Caleb Folan and also Leon Best likely to be playing in the EPL next season. Also, youngster Ian Daly, who plays in Greece for Aris, is though to be admired by Giovanni Trappatoni. The 19 year old Dubliner signed for Aris from Man City in 2009.

Celtic will be bringing in more scottish players and also more defenders as Tony Mowbray failed to bring in players of sufficent quality. The board also feel he ripped the scottish heart out of the club.

James McCarthy will be brought in from Wigan. The young Glasgow–born midfielder, who opted to play for Rep. of Ireland instead of Scotland, will be delighted to join his boyhood team. The fee will be in the region of £3.5million.

Graham Dorrans will sign from West Bromich Albion. He will be one of the more expensive signings, but the board feel its important that they bring in quality scottish talent. The fee will be in the region of £6–7million, with a percentage of next sale for West Brom also.

Craig Bellamy will make his return to Celtic after starring in a loan spell where he became fans favourite. The Welshman is though to have fallen out with Roberto Mancini over an incedent involving Stephen Ireland. He will cost around £5million as Man City wan't to get rid. Dermot Desmond is more than happy to pay his wages.

Next up is Portsmouth leftback Nadir Belhadj, as Celtic look to solve their long standing left back problem, with fans disgruntled with shocking players such as Danny Fox, Mo Camara and Lee Naylor. The fee is though to be around £2.5million, with Pompey in serious debt.

Philippe Senderos is the next target, for around £4.5million. The Swiss centre back has been surplus to requirements at Arsenal for a while now, and will relish the physicality of the SPL.
His Arsenal Team–Mate Djourou is signing on a season long loan as well.

Long term Celtic Target Ivan Ramis will sign, for around £3million.

Celtic will go in for Birmingham midfielder, Keith Fahey. My source does not know of any paticular figure for the deal as yet.

Next, Koki Mizuno and Zheng Zhi will leave the club after not playing as much as they would have liked.

Artur Boruc will also leave, signing for long term admirers Bayern Munich, for around £6million with Michael Rensing coming the other way.
Rensing will probably be the Number 1, but will have to put up with competition from Lukasz Zaluska.

Newcastle Utd's Argentine Duo Fabricio Collocini and Jonas Gutierrez will both sign in a deal though to be around £7million for the pair. Collocini is widely thought to have been a failure at St James's, while Jonas has gained mixed reviews.

Pedro and Bojan will sign on loan from Barcelona.

Finally, Celtic will be signing Steven Fletcher from Burnley for around £3million and Giovanni Dos Santos from spurs for around £3.5million.

This will comeplete a summer of spending for the SPL side as they look to re–build their side and comepete in Europe again in the next few years, which is signalled by signing youngsters with alot of un–fufilled potential, like McCarthy, Dorrans and Dos Santos.

Most of you folks on this site are utterly laughable, nobody need buy the tabloids as every single possible rumour on the planet is being covered by you lot. Seen as nobody has any remote truth in any of there rumours, i'll simply blog on what i think should happen at my football club, not what is absolutely, 100% going to happen. I'm a Newcastle United fan, and any others out there should abolish any lingering ideas that we need a 'mass overhaul' as we've tried that every summer for the past 5 years, look where we have gotten. We've completely strolled the championship to date, and Hughton has bought very sensibly, and economically. If we keep hold of almost everybody, with the exception of Ameobi, Butt and Leon Best (who i'm convinced is merely a stop–gap) and add flashes of qaulity but mainly quantity, and actually build a squad capable of surviving a few injuries then i foresee minimal problems in us re–cementing our place in the top tier. As a realistic fan the players i'd chase at an approximate cost are as follows:
Kevin Davies (2 million) the best target man in the premiership, nobody would fancy it against him and Carroll
Nigel Reo–Coker (3–4 million) we are desperately short of any pace or power in the middle of the park
Jamie O'Hara (3–4 million) has proven premiership quality, and can play all across the midfield
Patrick Van–Aanholt (loan)
Paul Scharner (free) proven quality and very versatile
I've stopped caring about pretty football, and more about an effective and successful (well remotely) football team and signing these players for only a few pennies i think would make us more than comfrotable next season.
