Rafa is in the market for a left back with taiwo firmly in his sights, he was very impressed with his solid defenidng and attacking threat vs liverpool in the CL, the juan mata rumours isn't going away and indeed he was wtahced by lfc scouts against brugges in the europe league and they couldnt pick a better game to go and watch, lfc are willing to offer up to 22m for him with valencia ready to accept 19m. Palermo defender kjaer will more than likey be signed for around 14m or benitez may go for the cheaped villereal centre half Godin. with jovanaovic already signed rafa will look for just one more striker depending on weather we get chamackh for free, if not then we will most probz see zamora or k.jones heading for anfield most likely zamora as hes cheaper and english.
with the likely sales of some fringe players rafa will hopefully buy another central midfilder most probably english again, could be parker or cattermole.
but.. if mascherano is sold expect to see busquets or toure coming the opposite way.
it 'will' be a big summer, tom hicks isn't lying

TO WATP,
I work in the finance sector of lloyds banking group no offers have been recieved by donald muir or any in the waiting. With portsmouth going into meltdown after recieving 90m in the past 2 years for transfer fees what do you think are rangers chances? There is no sky money, plus the league winners will play 3 qualifiers from next year, the fact is rangers owe 28m in debt with an outstanding 55m to the murray group, plus 1.5m in interest per year! To cover this debt . There is no king he has enough problems[sars] , tom hunter, or any other white knight. Realistic facts are possibly 6–8 1st team players will be moved on regardless what pre–profits from dec 9th revealed. Hard times ahead for 6–10 years for rangers in these economic times. ANON THE MOUND , EDINBURGH.

More notts county. after the joy of not being wound up things are about to come back down with a bump as they fl are taking a close interest in what payments have been made by previous owners. remember what happened to chesterfield'

If anything, the MUNTO scam–merchants will be jailed and this won't affect Notts County.

John Armstrong–Holmes admitted making a mistake selling the club to them this week, but hopefully Ray Trew will help them in the short–term.

BTW sympathy for young Aaron Ramsey.

Here are the players who WONT be leaving United: Van Der Saar, Neville, Scholes and Giggs are all too old and loyal to fetch any decent money. Ferdinand and Hargreaves are too injury prone and and on too high wages for people to come in for them. Michael Owen will leave, but only on a free. He doesn't feel he's been given a fair crack and so he will demand to leave the same way he came in. The real kick in the teeth is that United only have a few really profitable players (Rooney, Vidic, Evra, Evans). Nani, Anderson and Berbatov would all be leaving at a loss. This will unfortunately lead to Wayne Rooney being the sacrificial lamb. He'll end up at Real Madrid in exchange for £50 million plus Benzema. The mo ey will go straight to debt interest repayments and then the youngsters will be expected to step up next year. Dark times ahead :( BIG DEVIL

Rumour has it man utd may have to sell upto 15 players in the summer to service the crippling debt they have amassed. that could mean rooney, carrick, fletcher, park, berbatov, evra, ferdinand, vidic, brown, o'shea, evans, gibson, macheda, wellbeck, foster and any number of other players could be set for the exit door. so the likes of silva, villa, benzema, loris, neuer and all the other so called "definate signings" are all just a figment of there imagination. i guess that could also mean bye bye to taggart and no chance to mourinho.

Manchester United are set for an exodus this summer to reduce debts. Ben Foster is set for the exit door with Bolton keen to sign him. Michael Owen is also certain to be axed with Fulham ready to snap him up. Park Ji–Sun and Dimitar Berbatov could also be sold off with Sir Alex Ferguson set to bring in David Silva and Luis Fabiano respectively.

Chelsea fans, stop lying. You're not signing Romelu Lukaku, he's going to Arsenal at the end of the season. I work in a top Brussels newspaper and it is known in the Belgian media that he will be an Arsenal player next season. He may well be loaned out next season, either back to Anderlecht or to Lille. The fee will be in the region of £10 mil + add–ons. He is a future star, he is choosing Arsenal because he realises that Arsenal have the better future ahead of them.

After evertons european exit bill kenright and david moyes will decide what they need to compete better if they get in the europa league for next season. they won't want to sell any players as the squad is waffer thin, a couple of freebies will be bought as usual like beckford and mucha both out of contract. they will discuss on big summer signing which will hopefully be a central midfielder as felliani is really our only defensive mid at the moment as rodwell is supposed to be a CB according to moyes and phil neville is not a gd enough midfielder. so i think velesco sporting will be the signing for around 12mill.

Latest from my source at St.Andrews.
McLeish is happy that his work is done this season – the task was to stay up which is all but scure now barring some freak turn of form. The FA Cup has become a realistic target and the only thing they are focussed on.
He has now drawn up a shortlist to develop next year. The rumour is as he only spent around £15m of the £40m promised – Carson Yeung has said he will give some in the region of £55m to spend in the summer. Top targets are: Vela and Song from Arsenal – combined £15m, Collison – West Ham £8m, Milito – Barcelona £5m, Muntari – Inter £6m, Vertonghen and Zeegelaar – Ajax combined £10m, Joaquin and Zigic – Valencia combined £15m. Arsenal's record pre–tax profits will mean there is decent money this summer, Silvestre, Senderos and Campbell will probably b on their way out all on frees. Wenger will do everything he can 2 make sure Merida stays at Arsenal and away from Atletico, Sevilla and Liverpool.

With the departure of 3 CBs Wenger will more than likely sign Stefan Savic of BSK Borca for around 2.5 million and a deal for Mamadou Sakho is being prepared worth around 8–10 million + Silvestre (providing he agrees to PSG'S terms and wages). If Gallas dosen't resign expect Tasci from Stuttgart for around 10 million OR one of Subotic (unlikely due 2 high price and interest from other clubs), Cristian Zapata (Possible at around 10–15 million) it is also possible that Harvard Nordveit could replace Gallas.

Wenger considers Arsenal a little weak at Right–Back so one of Ajax's Gregory Van Der Wiel/ Osasuna's Cesar Azpilicueta/ Cardiff's Adam Matthews rated at 8/10/5 million respectively.

Chamakh is more likely to join Arsenal in the summer barring a huge change in heart while Wenger is also on the lookout 2 for an experienced Goalie to guide Arsenal's young duo of Mannone and Szczesny, Almunia and Fabianski could b offered in part–xchange or sold.

To the poster who said Swansea are looking to help 'crisis club Bournemouth' by buying Pitman for 200k.

You are guessing. Reading websites and posting nonsense. 200k is a fraction of his worth, and a friendly v Swansea isn't exactly an attractive proposition for anyone. There's only been about 3 or 4 years in the last 25 where Swansea have been in a higher division and are viewed as a small club, so it would not exactly be a money spinner.

The thing 2 members of the Bournemouth board, should they want to, could clear this debt £314k of which £100k has beeb paid) and not even have it dent their bank balance.

Eddie Howe. He'll go sometime, but it won't be to a club with a chairman problem or one in a deeper mess than Bournemouth

Is there any west ham rumours on whether Zola is staying, if he leaves who will replae him and what players we'll be signing in the summer?

27 Feb 2010 01:33:36
To all Gers fans going to the game on sunday, the manky mob intend to disrupt the minutes silence by phoning all bears they know during it so please remember to turn off your phones. im sure they will disrupt it regardless so lets see, yet again who really is Scotlands shame!!!! WATP!!!!

To the guy who posted about Southend v Charlton own goal..

Well..it didn't happen mate..

However..

I have heard the rumours of discontent and something stinks at Southend (not just the fish!)

I also heard that the plod are re–looking into Ron Martin's business dealings, and that there's an 80% chance he won't be at the club next season. We'll need a new investor or else we'll be next to go after Chester and Portsmouth!

Arsenal rumours are going crazy on this site. lets be serious boys and girls, we r not going to be breaking the bank for anybody. outgoing for sure will be silvestre, senderos and merida. likely to join them are gallas and one of almunia and fabianski. one of eduardo or vela may depart on loan.
coming in will be one goalkeeper, two central defenders and chamakh. a possible addition may be a DCM such as Moussa Sissoko, but nothing more in terms of the first team. Wenger will use Jay Simpson's loan spell at QPR to sign Raheem Sterling in part exchange.
to recap:
out: Senderos free, silvestre free, merida free, almunia/fabianski £4m, maybe gallas free, simpson p/e.
in: 1 x GK: Neuer/green/lloris.
2x CB: Savic and sakho/subotic/zapata.
Chamakh
maybe 1 x DCM: Sissoko/matuidi/cabaye
sterling

Rangers News
Rangers new buyer will be in place after they secure 2IAR and gain entry into the Champions League.
The takeover should clear the majority of the debt the club owes to Loyds; while the Champions League money will be invested into the team.
Rangers will bid for the next Eto, Tresor Mputu. While looking for a new Boogie/King Carlos to help in defense.
Money will be invested into the current squad; with Boyd, Alexander, Fleck, Novo and Broadfoot all looking for new deals.

The future is looking good for the bears.
WATP

PS to the guy who thinks Darren Makie will solve Boros goal shortage then you are wrong. He isn't an out and out goal scorer and bags less than 10 a season. (Should sign Whittikar if your looking for goals haha.)

27 Feb 2010 00:33:25
Swansea City are set to help crisis club Bournemouth out by agreeing to buy striker Brett Pitman from them for £200,000.

As part of the deal, they will also agree to a friendly match at Dean Court in July.

Anton Robinson will also be sold to Swindon Town, for an undisclosed fee, thus relieving the financial pressure at Dean Court.

Eddie Howe to be new Peterborough or Southend boss for new season too.
