Arsenal do not have the same financial clout that United and Liverpool have. End of story. The reason that Arsenal can not compete at the moment is that they are not recognised to a worldwide club. Man United and Liverpool have a much bigger fanbase worldwide therefore more revenue.

A few more facts for all you Gunners fans:

1. Wenger will not be given a £73 million transfer kitty. When Arsenal are bought out he might get that figure but not until then. His transfer warchest will be 20–25 million.

2. Wenger will not spend more than £10 million on one player while his team is playing so well. Modric–20 million, Richards–20 million, Benzema–15 million, Robinho–20 million, Nasri–15 million, Quaresma–25 million. None of these players will sign unless their clubs drop the price or Wenger is insistent to the board that he must have them.

3. Samir Nasri has a first option Clause built into his contract to Liverpool. This was added when they got Cisse. The original fee for Cisse was £8 million but Liverpool lowered it to £6.5 million with the Clause.

4. Lulinha does not have a pre contract signed with Palermo. And I quote. Maurizio Zamparini (Palermo president) Lulinha and Renato Augusto are being tracked by the likes of Real Madrid and Chelsea we at Palermo cannot compete financially with these such clubs. 25th October–Marca.

And before all you Arsenal fans get on my case. I am not an Arsenal hater even though I am a Liverpool fan. These facts were given to me when I was in London yesterday by a member of the Arsenal backroom staff who is a close family friend.

race to sign non league starlet hots up

27/10/07

by Leyton Orient Sports Journalist

Leyton Orient are tracking one of non leagues hottest young talents in the form of Blue square North high fliers, Kettering Towns, commanding defender Luke Graham.

However the O's face enormous competition to sign the strong stopper from numerous clubs, including, Carlisle United, Peterborough United, Mk Dons, Notts County and several others.

Great in the air and handy on the floor,

the towering 2 one year old, has racked up almost over 100 games for the club and is playing a key role in Kettering Towns promotion charge to the Blue Square Premier.

Defender Graham, signed for Kettering in the Summer of 2006 from county neighbours Northampton Town, missing out on promotion for the second time last season with club, after an initial loan spell in 2005.

Leyton orients scouting network have been alerted to the fact that Graham can play anywhere across the backline, with such versatility an attraction for most managers. Although scouts have watched Graham string together a host of impressive performances this season at the heart of his sides defense.

Carlisle United are well represented by scouts in the non league scene with the capture of winger Ged Dalton from Scarborough, and are thought to be weighing up a double swoop in January with Graham and Vauxhall motors sought after hitman Paul Taylor top of their wishlist.

Although Peterborough United are well reknowned for their non league shopping sprees, including Grahams former poppies team mate burstling front runner Rene Howe.

It is believed the O's are lining up an end of season move for the player, believed to be out of contract in the Summer.

  Afc Bulletin ) ) ) ) )

With Flamini having replaced Gilberto it is unlikely Diarra will stay at Arsenal he will probaly leave in January. If he does leave then expect Mark Randall to replace him. Expect a possable move by INTER 4 RVP, will Van Persie leave Afc? I doubt it.

  Arsenal Transfers.

Arsenal have sent scouts to France to check up on France Internationals Jeremy Menez and Samir Nasri. Lyon Starlet Hatem Ben Arfa maybe but we will hae to put up a very very hgh bid for him as Lyon are very stingy and wold not give him away that easy. Macauley Chrisantus, Eden Hazard and Sotris Ninis will definitely join the Arsenal Youth ranks and Carlos Vela will join back from Osasuna in January.

Now with real predictions querasma coming to Lfc and possible David Villa and hopefully Sissoko gets lost

When Juande Ramos becomes manager of Tottenham he will bring with him Daniel Alves and there will be a return to White hart Lane for Freddie Kanoute. Exciting time head for Tottenham

Liverpool are going to buy Nasri.

First of all the stories of half the world signing pre–contracts with Arsenal are rubbish. A pre–contract cannot be signed unless the player is in the last six months of his contract else it would be a breach of his current contract. Onto rumours, my cousin living in France told me that Man United are very interested in signing Jeremy menez (not a winger as given in this forum) as Saha is unlikely to stay fit. In the Summer United will move for Huntelaar to replace Saha alongwith moves for marek hamsik and a right back

Leicester City to sign Plymouth Argyles Hungarian international Akos Buzsacky. Talks of a new contract have broken down and an approch has been made to talk to the player. His agent has confirmed that a deal has been put forward and a possible loan deal agreed before a 550 k fee takes him permentley in Januaryuray.

They have also kept a close tab on the other £1 million pound rated Hungarian player Peter Halmosi but talks have stalled because he is still under contract and a larger fee is wanted form the Plymouth manager if any deal is talked about. Money is known to be tight at home park and more players are to be sold off in the transfer window with Holloway wanting to bring in three more players with the money.

It's nonsense that Arsenal will spend the money it takes to sign any of those young French guys. If you think Lyon sees itself as a selling club to Arsenal, guess again. Arsenal will not sign Benzema, Ben Arfa, Menez, nor Nasri. The only MAJOR amount of cash Arsene will spend is on Luka Modric. He's always coveted him and we will see him in January. Next Summer we'll see Modric's Dinamo Zagreb teammate Ognjen Vukojevic come in as Gilberto Silva is shown the door. Arsenal Ins between January and next August: Modric, Vukojevic, Gourcuff, Franco di Santo (Arg. forward), Mexes, Richards, Brad Guzan (US Goal Keeper who may oust Howard as #1 by WC 2010. Arsenal outs: Gilberto Silva, Lehmann, Senderos, Rosicky, Bendtner, Song, Eboue

I have some connections to the Glazer family and can tell you what Man United will be attempting to do this winter. Another quality forward is desperately needed and that will be accomplished with a swap of Saha, Silvestre, and cash to Lyon in exchange for Benzema. Coming in as Silvestre's replacement will be MLS defensive whiz Jimmy Conrad, as the Glazers are getting impatient to see some Yank blood back in the red kits. A big bid for Berbatov is also likely, but that may come next Summer.
