man city offer celtic a serious deal for victor wanyama 7mil and their young talent gudietti & boyata cb on loan with first option to buy cl here we come

I hope this open ppls eyes of the epl that the spl may be poor but it and mostly Celtic come out with quality players. If he stays at Celtic he will be a legend but unfortunately he is too good for spl and think cl will show all, with him in the team their is a chance of going for in it. But I think he will be off to better league and a even bigger club then Celtic. This guy is the new superstar of the football world and would say keep an eye on him and go watch videos of him, he is going to be one of the best players in the game and hope Celtic hold out for real value money cause in any other league he would be 25mill plus. This deal is good but hope we get more money and sell on clause, with a bunch of big clubs interested hope their is a big battle, going by carrol money he is worth 40 mill lol.

Tempting offer with regards to Guidetti but you're gonna have to stump up more than £7m. At least £12m.

Ill give you that a decent player does come out the SPL every 10-15 years

Celtic aint got 7 million

7M is very generous for an SPL player considering the big financial trouble on the horizon after Rangers demise.

Celtic do have money and 3 of the richest ppl in the uk, we also have little to no debt where if we sell one player we would be debt free. Ppl need to understand that Celtic is a lot different then to the spl and the dead club and should not be grouped together and maybe we may join another league in the future but we will all see.

Wanyamas an easy 10 million player but for man city he can go for 15

Take that anyday

29 Jul 2012 20:22:38
Believe Wenger doing deal to bring Javier Hernández (he will become arsenal legend) to Emirates with greedy pig RVP going other way - Really good business!

Javier Hernández a swap with no money seems unlikely when man utd turn down 30 mil pound for him last year from real Madrid

How's he greedy? He wants to win trophys something he won't do at arsenal..

So if its cos he wants trophies then why is he demanding 220k a week. I would play for 20k a week. Infact i would play for a grand a week

cheltenham town manager mark yates will meet with Dean morgan and his agent this week to thrash out a deal after morgans trial with gillingham came to a end.

I have ticked beleivable as Mark Yates seems to be signing everyone at the moment even with your lack of wages as you have small crowds but back to the main point your welcome to dean morgan

Think you maybe mistaken, we are currently financially stronger than ever and the wages we offfered to keep summerfield were club record.

Cheltenhams crowds are above average for league two and they have rich backers also therefore they are probably not paying small wages.

"Mark yeates seems to be signing everyone"-ey-we only signed two players since this tranfer window opened.

Yes agree three years ago we was paying small wages because mad dog nearly ruined us, we are now very strong financially. We have just had a backer put 500k in to the club to sign players and it believed to be Simon Keswick look him up on google, he stepped down a couple of years ago and said he would be back because he's a major shareholder in the club he's worth a billion.

5th richest in football apprently!

Please spell our managers name right! It's Yates not Yeates for gods sake!

Alaixys Romao flying into England on Tuesday to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical at Norwich City

Wont happen norwich ave never spent more then 5 mill on any player so in your dreams .....mate ......

Never spent more than 5m but now we have our biggest transfer budget ever

It can happen as Norwich have the funds to buy a £5m+ player even if you think they don't and also the player in question Alaixys Romao is valued at £3.5m

So what if we have never spend 5 million on 1 player before, we are trying to establish ourselves as a constant premiership team, that means we need to buy quality players which will cost more. So who knows, maybe we will splash the cash and buy a top quality player to add to our young, hungry, talented team! ON THE BALL CITY

Chelsea had never spent 50 million on a player before they did. 5million is hardly fantasy money for Norwich.

That makes a lot of sense. Well done! Just like in 1990 when no one had ever spent more than 20 million on a player?

There's a difference between Chelsea's millions and being title contenders and us though.

We're not suggesting spending 50mil but 5mil. Clubs record fee's go up year on year. Do you remember when we sold Sutton for 'silly money' (5mill) but this is a drop in the ocean for the PL now. City are in a position to be able to spend this amount but need to ensure the player is worth it as we can't yet afford to waste it.

5 mill won't be a problem for a club like Norwich. It's the players wage demands that make it difficult

Wolves are tracking Norway striker Tarik Elyounoussi.

Tottenham could swoop for Fulham's Moussa Dembele and Swansea star Joe Allen.

Manchester City could hand Emmanuel Adebayor a free transfer.

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is considering a swoop for Ricardo Carvalho.

Everton could swoop for Blackburn's Grant Hanley.

Southampton boss Nigel Adkins is chasing Blackburn full-back Martin Olsson.

Manchester United are weighing up a move for Victor Wanyama.

Southampton have enquired about taking Theo Walcott back to St Mary's.

WolfAsh

I think Saints are currently only chasing Centre backs and Wingers so I doubt Olsson is on the target list.

Praying that dembele stays.

despite what the stats say, he is easily our best player

You have copied and pasted this from paper talk on skysports.com i read it erlier....terrible

Why would walcott swap champions league football for a newly promoted club just because he used to play there?from a fulham fan

Dembele has said he owes it to Jol to stay another season at the cottage

Saints just sold dan harding so will b looking for lb that can get firward and cover lm aswell

Saints definately after a LB. Walcott deal all talk, Saints wage structure wouldn't allow Walcott to join. 'If' Walcott leaves Arsenal he will go to Liverpool, expect him to sign a new contract shortly though!

Olssen would fill the gap left by Dan Harding at centre back and could also provide cover for Lallana - Saint George

What are you talking about? Harding was never a centre back, and provide cover for Lallana? Thats just unreal.

He means left back, and cover for lallana out on the left wing, as Olsson can play back or up the pitch as a winger

Olsson would be a great signing for Saints. Would love to see Walcott back at Saints but can't realistically see it happening. His Missus is from Southampton & I'm sure he still has friends here, so may be there's a very slim chance. Jermain Lens or Zaha would be good possible signings too. I believe we're also after Rennes CB Kana-
Biyik. We've had a bid rejected but are apparently preparing a new one. Player doesn't seem too desperate to leave, but I'm sure if a bid's excepted & he's come to look around & is shown Cortese's & Adkins' vision for the club he'll sign. Possibly like to see another keeper, Craig Gordon would be a good signing.

Lol at Southampton. All the players you are been linked with are way out of your league and will have much better attractive options! RELEGATION!

Joe Allen looks set for Liverpool but I would much rather see him at Spurs...same thing happened with the Sig, looked like he was going to Lpool but spurs got him, so I could see it happening (swans fan)

I do agree that some rumours are far fetched but as a club and prospect for new signings we're looking very good. Just seeing how good our academy players were against Ajax saturday shows the future is very bright. Additionally, the facilities rival the top 4.

Having said that I think Walcott feels he's better than he is and would want to much money. I wouldn't be overly impressed as a fan if they spent 15mill on him.

The fact you mention relagation show your limited knowledge and we will sign somebody worth taking note of before the transfer window closes.

No i didn't copy and paste it.. if i copied and pasted it put the link on here....
iv heard these from reliable sources....
some might be true some might not be....
all im saying is there out there....
AND IM NOT A SOUTHAMPTON FAN IM A WOLVES FAN.

oldham football club showing strong interst in out of favour peterborough front man by placing 125k on the table to take nicky ajose to the lancashire club

Have oldham got that kind of money?

Good move for all included imo

Won´t happen we already have a player who Dickov will sign and a striekr whose been playing in our friendlies.

If this is true, you can have him. Bag of crap, I wouldnt pay a fiver

A loan move is more likely

In Oldham's world £12.5k would be a lot.

Looked one of the sharpest players when he came on on Saturday and compared to when we last saw him against Crystal Palace last year he seems to have discovered a yard or two of pace. Unlucky not to score too. Maybe it was the number of scouts in the stands that drove his performance - we'll see.

Lol he didn't score because he was always looking for that penalty he was never gonna get should of concentrated on shooting before thinking of diving!

29 Jul 2012 17:15:53
hull have offerd 1 million and out of favour ex posh front man aaron mclean for paul taylor, with mclean keen on making the switch come through

Koran brady and chester of 2 leicester tomorrow

Brady and chester won't go LOL don't know about Koren though

Maybe brady forget about the other two

Brady is at man u he was on loan last year the others will stay at hull it's just rubbish from there delusional fans

29 Jul 2012 16:57:23
Walsall have signed jason taylor on a year deal and will also sign james chambers (yr deal), rudy torres (yr deal), and nicky featherstone (2 yr deal). They will also hold talks with ex leeds lb ben parker and former hereford cb ben purkiss

You havn't signed jason taylor as he has only just signed a new contract at rotherham

Think you mean Connor Taylor

Its not jason taylor its ex villa stikrer connor taylor

It's Connor Taylor

Connor taylor officially signed today

bournemouth interested in signing peterborough right back mark little, but hoping not to pay 6 figure fee for the attack minded wing back

Mark little would be a excellent signing for bournemouth, only problem is he would demand a high transfer fee and that they don't need a right back but they do need a left back.

Gotta get 6 figures surely for him.

Does anyone know if he is able to play left
back as well as right back?

Can this lad play left back aswell seen him a few times but always right back.

I don't think so. AFCB are in the market for a LEFT BACK to challenge Charlie Daniels.

No. he is strictly a right back but quite an attacking one at that,

Struggles to play right back most game to be honest

29 Jul 2012 17:11:49
huddersfield bidded 500k for george boyd medical to take place tuesday

Hope so,he`s always played well against us

I wish, just can't see this one being true.

Can't see it either
also wouldnt be guaranteed games would he!
terrier85

George Boyd didn't sign a contract for Peterborough so he is a free agent

He isn't that good but must admit he played good against US

You wish! He will go to palace, and Peterborough will never sell him for that little amount, he's still under contact from them for another year

Pretty sure just cos he didn't sign new contract he still had a year to run so clearly not a free agent

Also wouldn't be still turning out for posh would he!

Think you will find that george boyd is joining leeds united cant blame him really why would he go to either palace or uddersfield when there going to be fighting relegation

Can Simon Grayson not come up with any of hsi own transfer target, cos eveeryone whos beeen linked with huddersfield has been linked with leeds aswell

Would be a good signing would Boyd for town. Can play either up front or wide on left very good player in my opinion. John

He's far too young for L**ds.. He's still under 30!

29 Jul 2012 17:10:05
stoke have bid 1.75 million for paul taylor

Complete rubbish..

Plymouth argyle. I thought id have a look at what Ex3t3r are doing in the market on theer gossip page and found this...... James Brent will splash the cash this week with a £250,000 bid for Exeters Liam Sercombe. Carl Fletcher is believed to have demanded backing in the transfer window and wants to build his side around Liam Sercombe

Is he any good

Good player but there isnt a cat in hells chance of Argyle signing anyone for £250,000 in the near future. The club is still screwed from the Stapleton/new world era so will only be looking at free transfers/nominal fees.

Thank you ^

I don't think we should rule out a money signing. It has been said there is money to spend and I wouldn't mind betting Fletcher has a trump cars to play. To accompany the free signings!!!!

I didn't say that there wouldn't be any "money" signings, just that the club aren't in the position to be spending £250,000 on a player at this current time. If we are to make "money" signings then they would be nominal fees of around £50,000, the club has to stick to the 55% rule in division Two and have already got quite a hefty wage bill.

To be honest I've never heard of him, and at this level I really can't see us paying £250,000 for anyone, we barely paid that for players when we were over-spending in the Championship and I highly doubt we will now. Realistically we're looking at cheap non-league players and free transfer/ agents in the football league.

How do you know they have a hefty bill. Not figures that normally get releases

29 Jul 2012 16:25:32
Jermain Defoe believed to be in advanced talks with Paul Lambert at Villa after fee agreed believed to be 8 million according to my high placed employee at Spurs
#londonbhoy

Some how doubt this one....they were ineffective together at Spurs and Villa are trying to lower the wage bill

Avb only said yesterday he needs one more forward to challenge Defoe so this is false

Of course, because spurs are completely prepared to sell their only senior striker

Derby Countys Head Of Recruitment
Craig Short was at Crewe's
Pre season Game watching 2 players.
One thought to be Max clayton.

No he was not he was at Crawley and will be announced there manager on
MONDAY

He was at Crawley yesterday

Crawley new manager

Craig short head of recruitment...?

Derby County are Replacing Steve
Davies with Crewe's Max Clayton.

Not true, hes too good for derby, and they coulnt afford this young lad

29 Jul 2012 15:54:00
Bristol city in and outs
Buzsaky still in talks but a lot of interest from other championship teams.
tyson is on mcinnes radar its up to derby if they wanna let them go!
gerrard if cardiff wants to sell him to there close rivals in the champ.
Earnshaw same again with cardiff but mcinnes has said he wants a quick st.
sam baldock may be cheaper than if he when to other clubs because they will cancel all the add on on the maynard deal
out
adomah 4 mil to Swansea or Southampton or 3.5 with player(s)
skuse a possible move to a championship notts forest or Cardiff and minor interest from stoke asking price 2 to 3 mil
fontaine will not go this season maybe next but Southampton may panic buy him price 1 to 1.5 mil
woolford may get sold if they do not sell albert.Stead is more likely to stay than go he was seem very happy but if rhodes goes i can seem Huddersfield putting a cheeky bid in.
pitman not going for less than 1 mil pounds

I really don't think any Bristol City players are going to Southampton, reckon we've only 1 target left in the Championship that'd be Zaha.

They got about 7 st they wanted him last season but he fail a medical (fontaine)

Fontaine is no better the what we've already got. We aren't notorious enough to attract premiership players, so NA and NC have decided to look in the European market, not a team that are struggling in the Championship - Saint George

Skuse wouldn't move to a different championship club no way!

If you want him, i'll drive Tyson down to Bristol myself.

Good term 'panic buy' - I can see one or two of them coming!

Strange one Tyson, I either think he will have a decent season or same old form he showed last year. What will be 100% is he will score against us next year if he moves...

How much money do you think Bristol City have to spend !! None

Bristol city can spend what they want look up steve lansdown the chairman said we can have 10mil a year to get to prem and will bankroll it C.O.Y.R

Were building a team not dismantling one , anyone who Del wanted out has gone , maybe with exception to Pitman,
As for spending some money , it will happen but only if the right players WANT to come, Lansdown is no mug, i would expect all desent signings to be last minute to save on the big wages, most f these will have gained match fitness and have little if nowt to prove as they will be of good quality

29 Jul 2012 15:57:30
Crystal Palace will announce 3 signings in the coming weeks,Jose Baxter will sign from Everton, along with Ross Mccormack from Leeds and a loan player from a Premisership club believe to be macheda from United

Palace Harry Monk

You do realise that you ARE NOT signing McCormack...as your manager has stated you are only targeting Allart...

And warnock just stated he intends on keeping mccormack

Not any more we aren't Allart has been sent back to France and is no longer on the radar. Dougie is now looking at other options but McCormack although we would like him is too expensive for us.

CP1

McCormack not going anywhere unless and until Warnock signs a replacement

Baxter is a free agent, though for some peculiar reason Freedman has said he won't be signing him. He's just here for fitness. Macheda would break our wage budget, something Steve Parish nor Freedman would let happen. As for McCormack, he'd cost too much to get him.

McCormack will sign for Norwich with snodgrass. And palace will not even sign allart because of his fitness levels.

Only way norwich will get mccormack is a swap for holt

Oh look its a norwich fan thinking his club are going to sign all are players firstly you have are league one midfield, secondly you think just because you have had one season in the prem that all of sudden you are a big club which your not?

Norwich are in the top tier with better support than turn out at ER nowadays!

Norwich are in the top tier for one more season, going to be so much fun watching your decline, and you will never have better support than leeds, 1 leeds fan worth a 100 norwich

Norwich have better support?, 5000 travelled to norway for leeds friendly, how many travelled for ur last friendly

29 Jul 2012 15:32:07
Rumour has it that James Vaughan is going on loan to Celtic for the season with the option to buy for 1 million - thing is the source is terrible ~ The Sun Sport

£1m??
He's been our best striker so far in pre-season. We don't need to sell.

29 Jul 2012 15:31:45
Walsall set to sign trialists James Chambers, Ben Purkiss, Nicky Featherstone and Ashley Sammons. This will be followed up later in the week by the signing of ex Leeds ace Ben Parker.

Ben parker is injury prone wouldn't risk it

29 Jul 2012 15:26:28
Izale McLeod is back on Cheltenham Town manager Mark Yates' radar, as it appears Portsmouth will be unable to sign the striker.

Hu!!!

Oh here we go again .... he did ok in a struggling club last year .... it will be home from home !

McLeod to sign for Pompey this week, as Football League allow Michael Appleton permission to build a competitive squad for 2012/13, now that the wage bill has been substantially reduced PUP

Wages might be a bit high, if we sign plummer surely wont be able to stretch for Mcleod, hope it happens tho

Plummer will be a squad player and is not one of the two strikers we want - I do not see any relevance.

Pretty sure he is still signing for Portsmouth, especially now they have significantly reduced their wage bill and may just actually survive!

If we do sign plummer there is no way we will pay for two more strikers, perhaps one which could be mcleod

McLeod played in Pompeys friendly at Aldershot tonight 01/08/12

And scored the only goal of the game PUP

29 Jul 2012 15:07:26
Prestons Andy Procter to sign for Accrington Stanley
Within the next week or so , fee of 50k

I hope this is true

I sincerely hope this is true. He's not good enough at League 1 level.

Hope so!

I hope this is true, he's a 100 percenter, but not quite up to league 1.

Agree with comment 5. Cannot knock him for effort, but probably better suited to league 2.

100 per enter .that's true. 100 percent crap!!

I expect wages could prove a problem. Seem to think he may have been signed by PNE on 30 month deal.

Please let this happen, he's one of the worst players I've ever seen

Not been in the squad the last two games so could well be true ..l hope so

29 Jul 2012 15:06:33
When Bristol city manager Derek McInnes returns from his teams pre season tour of Scotland, He will begin talks with former Plymouth and QPR midfielder Akos Buzsacky. Buzsacky who has spent time in Hungary working on his fitness with Videoton FC is keen on staying in england with Nottingham Forest and Blackburn also keen on the play makers signature, was said to be impressed with McInnes ambitions for the club. Buzsacky wanted to speak to the city manager more thoroughly but a week in marbella delayed talks, So now it is thought that the Hungarian will begin talks when McInnes returns back to Bristol. Also City's long on going search for a pacy striker continues as Manchester Citys Alex Tchuimeni-Nimely has become the man to fit the bill.

He can do much better than bristol city

Think you'll find he is on his way to Middlesbrough ..

Which 0ne ?

I think you will find that he is signing for Blackpool

Will be very hypocritical of Holloway to sign him as he was the one who let him go from us (Plymouth)

Didn't let him go buz had 6 months left and plymouth didn't want to lose him for no fee. What i will say is Olly had a right moan about him going and was a bit shirty towards him so that may effect his choice. Always liked buz but he's never been the same since his injury and i was a little disapointed when he was offered a new deal. Wherever he ends up i hope he gets some of the old "White Pele" magic back even last season he scored 2 crackers in the prem

29 Jul 2012 15:15:57
Bristol City will turn their interest to Celtics Anthony Stokes, Whilst in Scotland McInnes will walk to the 24 year old

When he reaches him will he say anything?

Thats a long walk to make

Running is better than walking

Where is he walking from?

I understand it's a pre season exercise, they're taking in the true essence of scotland and scottish heritage by walking 500 miles for something they really want. Reliable source

29 Jul 2012 14:35:44
'The People' reporting that Celtic have agreed a season-long loan deal for Norwich City striker James Vaughan.

Load of rubbish i expect, he have been our best striker pre-season.

Huddersfield are wanting Vaughan on season long loan and have offered to pay more of his wages than Celtic. Up to the player now. Norwich want him to go on loan to see if all injuries have cleared up.

Total garbage. Reckon Vaughan will be Norwich top scorer this year

Doubt it, looking sharp atm, really hope he stays fit for the season

Why would celtic wont a two games a season player ,,,,,

If Vaughan goes on loan the implication is that someone is coming in.If the Huddersfield rumour is true is it Rhodes? Or is it another loanee such as Lukaku from Chelsea.Vaughan never got a real go last season so he needs games and he wont get these as a third or fourth choice striker.Plus the Whitbread sale may say something about the club's view on those who are rarely available for selection due to injury. Vaughan is young and has talent so it is a difficult one to call but the idea of loaning him out possibly has legs to it as it would benefit both club and player. In any case selling him for his true market value now would be difficult due to his recent injury record so a loan is a realistic possibility.

Because he came close to scoring on them numerous times last week?

He was injured most of last season, that why he didnt get 'a real go'

I cant believe it but it does seem from all the reports that this is a very true rumour

No he is rubbish first touch of an elephant and cant stay fit

29 Jul 2012 14:29:27
Millwall to sign Marvin Elliot as a replacement for liam trotter if he leaves

How can you buy some one if someone leaves? Surely you buy or don't? So he can't be leaving if the other ain't sold

Crystal Palace linked with Winston Reid.

What flavour?

Leeds United Manager NW has said Ross Mc is staying at ER, He also aims to bring 1 more GK possibly Mark Bunn from Blackburn He also is looking at Craig Westcar for 400,000 As per usuall no news on the Takeover ak Uncle Ken is holding out for more money
JF19

Takeover finished last week . not saying anything because prices for the players they want would have rocketed.

Leeds are not looking for another keeper, we have Kenny, Ashdown and Cairns...it would just be a waste of the budget

"Takeover finished last week . not saying anything because prices for the players they want would have rocketed"

So how do you know this but nobody with players for sale have cottoned on?

Because im awesome dude. when it comes out remember the date 19th july. thats when it was finished. peace out big man

Southampton have had a €7m bid for defende Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik of Rennes

For those who don't get euro value it's around 5 million pounds, I reckon that's a price worth paying for a versatile defender. Can play all over the back line and most importantly is good in the centre.

Looks to a good deal if Saints can push it through. Also in the mould of deals that fans have been expecting with Cortese exploiting European links for cheaper options on players!

I'm not sure where we have the idea of Cortese's European football links from.. Cortese is a Swiss banker - who only got involved in football because he was the investment banker for Markus Liebherr when he bought the club, and was then asked to run it.. He doesnt have links in football or a history in football. He will be able to speak a number of European languages - that is about it... We are in a poor position where it comes to 'connections' - neither manager nor chairman has any history with premier league or European clubs. We do seem to have some cash - I hope we spend it wisely as am not convinced on J Rod who we now seem to play as a winger..

Def. not getting his name on my shirt :-?

Actually Cortese does have links with some boardroom figures in Italian football, hence why we were able to sign Papa Waigo and Guly from successful Serie B sides, despite being in League 1.

Jod rod has only played 3 games so far, don't think we can judge him yet

Firstly Cortese is Italian and secondly he rejected an approach from AC Milan to be their board of Directors back in 2010 so he must have someone about him. I'm certain he has Italian football links for sure.

Cortese is actually Italian.....not Swiss. It was Cortese who first told Markus Leibherr about Southampton FC when they were in administration. And also he has lots of experience in sports management finances, so obviously has contacts across europe.

Millwall are set to sign Marvin Elliot as a replacement for liam trotter if he leaves

Marvin elliot isnt leaving bristol city so your wrong there and bristol city have better ambitions

It would cost them near 2mil pounds plus he was injury for most the season but he did start he career at millwall so he probably would wanna go back but he has stated he is very happy in bristol

This will 'NOT' happen as 'Del boy' trotter 'WILL NOT BE LEAVING THE LIONS'!

Huddersfield Town are set to sign ... Ross MCcormack and Lee Peltier but he is set to choose out of Leeds and Huddersfield next week as both clubs have bid 650k for him ... And the same wage.... He Favours the Terriers though, Then Simon and Deano are happy with the team for next year.

Oh dear, warnock just stated mccormack is staying at leeds, and peltier wants to join leeds also, town is just his back up

Huddersfield have pulled oout of the peltier deal because grayson wont stump up the 850k price tag . dont you read the news

Town have moved on from McCormack and are trying to get Vaughan on season long loan. Town do not need Peltier. Enough cover in that position.

What on earth.. Peltier said in the press that he preferred the move to Leeds. It was all over the media, you halfwit, and not just the YEP. Its mainly due to Huddersfield have a strong right-back in Jack Hunt to whom Peltier would be second choice. Its strange then that Huddersfield should come in with a bid for a player they don't need. Grayson trying to spite Bates?

After the signing of Pineraar-Everton are set to complete the signing of Jo from International for a fee rumoured to be £4 million

This is the jo who fell out with David moyes whilst on loan

He doesn't even play for Internacional he's only just moved to Atletico Miniero just shows how believable this is

Moyes virually sacked Jo for going on leave without permission, Moyes is a bit of a haRd arse in this and the fact that Jo was crap, makes this rumour GARBAGE

29 Jul 2012 11:34:23
Since Rangers are being reformed they are looking for a new midfielder , 2 new strikers and 1 more defender the defender is Andre Santos if he will join because he only joined arsenal in 2011 , A.Stokes from celtic who joined celtic in 2010, Mchugh from motherwell who joined motherwell about 5 years ago , Adam Johnson who hardly gets any first team play at Man City and no one else but we think the Rangers scouters are looking at all the Team GB and Brazil matches. In the olympics {Ed025's Note - adam johnson?..come on mate..

Stokes to rangers, what world do you live in.

Wind up mate

You do no rangers got put in the Scottish 3rd division?

None of those players would go except McHugh. Stokes would never go

U are mental

Now THAT is funny! you do realise your in the scottish 3rd division?! why would celtic seel you one of their best strikers and as for adam johnson, that is just comical

Think he means qpr and not sevco

If any player has anything at all about him he would not sign from a Premiership side and go and play for a team in Scottish Div 3. Apart from Rangers every team in that league would struggle in the Blue Square North or South.

Notts County fan-To those Derby
County fans that are wondering what
is happening with the Krystian pearce
signing.Keith Curle had asked if he
could stay through pre season as
we have injuries and we are unable
to have bought our replacement yet.
Nigel Clough agreed to this.

NEP sadi last week he was recovering from an operation. He has not played any pre season games yet. Why would he stay here?

The Leeds United takeover is currently deadlocked due to the owner of the training ground digging their heels in regarding "valuation".

The new owners have bought the majority of the slices of Leeds United and are waiting until the sale of the training ground has gone through before any announcement is made.

The consortium have a wealth which exceeds Many premiership clubs.

The consortium are keen to redevelop Elland Road, and have control of forthcoming Casino / minor sports developments on Leeds United land.

The consortium is made up of the following:

2 x Bahraini businessmen ( 1 Royal )
1- 1 x Qatari businessman
2 Saudis.

They are all connected to a large middle eastern investment firm.

An announcement will be made next week regarding the takeover , with an English businessman in place as the front man / CEO. This front man has previous familial links with Leeds United and has worked / lived in the middle east for sometime.

Just to confirm - Bates is 100% out of the game now.

And to re-iterate the deal is stalled on Land ownership issues.

Heard it all before rich investors just look at pompey

That rich that they can't afford a couple of extra million to secure the training ground.

Lets hope that these guys arnt in it for the publicity or a toy. i personally think its time our FA stopped this sort of takeover by foreign money men. But its all about money. Dont be too smug leeds fans. Look at Blackburn and others.

I don't think we are being smug, despite all the talk most of us haven't a clue what is going on, only that something is. You can't be smug when your club has been run by ken bates for what feels like 10 lifetimes! You just hope to feel a sense of relief, and better times ahead.

Well there clearly not in it for the publicity...we still don't know who they are

I thought they were property-developers? I didn't know Bahraini royalty were into that sort of thing.

David Beckham might move to New york red bulls wich has suprised me or Sunderland wich has realy suprised me or even Blackburn wich I don't exactly think will happen.

Beckham is past it now mayb 3year ago i would have had him but for how much he is on i highley doubt we will pay a quater of it for him

Beckham will not be going to any of the clubs mentioned! He will definitely not move back to England and I can't see him leaving his life style in LA for NY!

SAINT IN THE USA

Complete and utter garbage

It says on BBC gossip that we want walcott back :)

I assume Saints? Good luck with him.

29 Jul 2012 10:11:43
Southampton in for Theo according to the mirror

Cant see us matching his wages & i imagine bigger clubs would have a better chance. Nice thought tho

Also according to the people, saints also want dann & olsson from blackburn but are struggling with the asking price. This is realistic & could be s good deal

And bale and the ox .... Maybe le tiss if he can prove his fitness

In for Theo is ridiculous and I reckon the Dann and Olsson stuff is off as well they'll probably still be with Blackburn wether they like it or not next season.

Theo Walcott to Saints. err smells like an agent playing games with his employer at contract renewal time.

As I suspect is the case with the De Vrij to Saints rumour

So struggling with the asking price but can afford walcott? :-/

Struggling with the asking price for that player, because saints obviously don't think he is worth that much.

Struggling with the asking price as NC wont pay over his value for them

Well every player has his price, obviously saints dont agree with the tag blackburn are putting on their players. whether we can afford Theo is completely irrelevant.

Any deal for Olsson or Dann won't go through until the season is underway, possibly not until deadline day! Venky's will sell but will want to see who has the most money and willingness to splash the cash!

Theo is unrealistic Saints won't pay his wage demand, Dann is overpriced and Olsson could be a possibility and would fit nicely into our team, would like to see Olsson join but think again his price tag will be inflated due to other prem clubs interested!

SAINT IN THE USA

Leyton Orient will not be making anymore signings unless anyone is sold.

Source: Russell Slade.

Thats a lie

Well it isn't a lie because he said in an interview with London24 that exact thing.

Expect one or two departures before the season starts. Chorley and Mooney could go. Mooney is wanted by Colchester, and Ben Chorley could also depart, with Northampton looking to sign. This will allow Russell Slade to bring-in a creative midfield player. The news on the block is Lee Cook.

Russell Slades head will be on the block if he does not bring in some creativity, we desperately need a wide player

How would lee cook know?

Lee Cook will NOT sign for us. Wages will be too much with this wage cape thing, and he is better than us. Still, I can dream....

These are the kind of players we should be aiming for, if we want to stay in this division. Most of the players we have signed recently are of 2nd div standard.
We need at least one creative player like Cook, or even Brian Howard. Both are waiting for someone to come in for them.

Dreams do come true sometimes.

29 Jul 2012 10:05:47
Found out from reliable source at brighton, there will be NO more signings this summer. So all rumours and gossips can stop exciting fans

Utter rubbish. Poyet has stated himself repeatedly that Brighton will bring in TWO more players: a centre mid and a striker.

Gus said yesterday that he want to get 2 new signings before the chelsea game,so ur friend is talking rubbish

I've heard from someone that two signings are close and will be completed when they get back from spain

Well that's not true as Poyet said a couple of days ago he is looking tO bring in at least 2 more players

Yer ok then!!

Yeah right. Jog on.

Not true. Tony bloom said there will be a similar budget to last season and so far Albion haven't spent a dime. A powerful striker and a centre mudfielder

YOU ARE FULL OF THAT STUFF!!

That is the most ridiculous rumour yet, Gus is looking for a striker and a centre midfielder. He may not get either but if the right player is available and can agree terms, signings will be made.
It may not happen but people are working on it.

So when i say the signings are essien and lukaku i get slated so i say kot signing n eone and still gey slated lol essien n lukaku on loan from chelsea. Signing tomorrow

Utter rubbish I've heard Brighton are close to signing Andrew crofts on loan and nick Hurley rumour looks likely after he was seen at the amex today.

Nick who...?

29 Jul 2012 09:07:50
I heard a rumour that Swansea's Stephen Dobbie is going to sign for Huddersfield next week, undisclosed fee, hope this is true, would be a great signing, anyone else heard anything about this?

TY

Heard leeds have inquired 2

Yes - its a swap for Rhodes with £3m cash

Havent heard owt sounds like a very good signing if it does happen though

Yes on his way to Leeds United

A decent player with a bit of Premier experience but spent more time on loan at Blackpool than at Swansea. Not sure he is the supporting type we need to help or stand in for Rhodes.

Swansea were asking £1.1m for Dobbie before Rodgers departed.

He's played in a number of matches for the new manager (dont know what he's called) and scored quite a few goals....Blackpool have gone back in for him but he's happy to stay at Swansea and any bids are being rejected.

But Jordan Rhodes and £3m may just be too much of an offer for Swansea to reject.

What utter rubbish you lot write

For a start Dobbie is a lot better than Rhodes so maybe give us £3 million plus Rhodes then you can have Dobbie. If he does leave us Blackpool will be is only destination.

Everyone town are linked with its a swap deal for Jordan Rhodes

Can't wait to see him play against Cardiff for town

Expect Anthony Gerrard to sign for Bristol City in the early part of next week. Huddersfield have now pulled out of the running and his likely destination is Ashton Gate.
Sam Baldock has medical on Wednesday as he is impressed with Derek Mcinnes vision and management style and believes Bristol are on the verge of something Big in the coming season.
Speculation is growing that a surprise signing in Michael Owen may be on the cards as talks are continuing between his agent and Majority shareholder Steve Lansdown.
There is still talk of Kitson and Ben Haim of cash strapped Portsmouth as well as Buszaky but these are still unconfurmed at this stage.

Can't see Michael Owen coming to BS3 would be nice though

Exciting stuff! I'll be extremely disappointed if these players don't sign.

I hope we get Gerrard and baldock is the fast forward we need. Kitson too slow these days.

Owen has clearly stated that he won't play football in championship, there's no way we could afford his wages

Kind of believed you until you spouted that rubbish about Michael Owen

I dont think owen would come to bristol city and sam baldock doesnt want a move to city he wants to sign for charlton the only one that might happen is gerrard and kitson

What absolute and utter nonsence. There is a 4 man board at Bristol City plus the Managerial staff all of whom are very tight lipped. Information does not leak out of Ashton Gate. The original poster of this rumour is probably a 15 year old premature ejeculator making out he knows something he doesnt to boost his own low self esteem

Lol Bristol City think they are all that.

Kitson and ben haim are just happy to take money from portsmouth they couldn't careless if they went out of buissness and as for kanu he wants £3m before he leaves wouldn't go for kitson and ben haim in my opinion try adam le fondre who could be getting loaned out

Owen has made it clear he won't drop down a league and if he does it won't be to us. Ben Haim can f*** off. Other than that I'm liking it

More desperation from the South side of Bristol ... cannot see any of these claims coming true or even being anywhere accurate. Borderline embarrassing to be honest.

OWEN NOT INTERESTED in championship dont know how many times the lad has to say it!!

Do you not think that Bristol Rovers trying to sell off a war memorial that they stole from Bristol Rugby to a supermarket chain is a little more embarrassing for a so called football club?

29 Jul 2012 08:23:38
Due to many rumours, Norwich City will NOT sign Alexyis Romeo, as they already have too many midfielders, however Simon Lappin Could go to Charlton for 300K

We need a good DM so we could definitely do with him as he would fill a gap for us

Stoke have Crouch, there is no bleeding chance at all of them getting relegated. But yes NCFC are staying up defo

Yes, Norwich have plenty in midfield but need DM and expect one or two to move on. Crofts to Leeds rumour still burning, Smith and Adeyemi to go on.loan.

The rumour does seem to have serious momentum

What does Stoke and crouch have to do with is post!? Seriously think before you post!

Lappin is worth a fair bit more than 300k. Young, Prem experience.

Soz about the stoke comment, i was talking about the post below, and anyway if you had any common sense you would look slightly further down the page and see that i made a mistake

Former middlesbrough keeper to return to the club in coming weeks.his agent has negotiated a release from his contract and has already agreed terms with middlesbrough. he will join the squad when he returns from tour with current club. his wife is currently back in the northeast looking at houses preparing for his imminent return.....

Brad Jones, Ross Turnbull...who?

Why does the one and only brad jones worryingly spring to mind. Wouldn't mind if it was Ross turnbull but I doubt it somehow

Which keeper

Who is it then?

Who is the former keeper?

Who are we talking about ,name the keeper.

Hope its big mark

Believe this is Ross turnbull

No chance of ross turnbull its smith the former youth guy who was here not ross who would want the number 1 jersey

Ross Turnbull won't return just to be a back up keeper to Steele.

We are more likely to sign one of the trialists

It's not,BORO are settling for Steele as no1 and the trialist will be giving a years contract so him and ripely will be back up,dnt no where you get your information but non of it is true UTB

Carlo nash!!

Andy DIBBLE! any1 remember his epic failings of our 97/98 season? lmfao probs B.Smith in all seriousness, tbh Luttwieler will do lets concentrate on Muzzy Carayol and the like. another right full back if its Hoyte so be it, he gets to much stick hes not awful in all fairness. whip in another striker a bit lively, if scotty mac has to go i wont lose any sleep.. should just about do it ppl. UTB

Andy dibble {Ed025's Note - you would be better off..with officer dibble, from top cat :O)

Paul smith ppl is the keeper

And finally some one strikes gold
told ya's will be announced next week

29 Jul 2012 07:46:05
Oxford United are close to completing a deal to sign Kidderminster Harriers defender Exodus Geohagon after he failed to settle at the club. It is believed a fee in the region of £15,000 has been agreed.

Please please buy him, hes fantastic, excellent player ,what a bargain. Riggy will confirm this

Don't be so stupid!

We dont need another defender or maybe a RB but we dont want him

Ist reply ,bit tongue in cheek lol... 2nd reply, person

This actully could be true because oxford finally might be realising what a donkey centre half they signed in michael raynes

(a) we don't have the money, and
(b) we've already had him and he was rubbish!!

We have never had him before, what you on about?!?!

Yes we did he was on trial an he was crap!

29 Jul 2012 05:31:11

Its true though!

29 Jul 2012 01:46:56
QPR will announce Chris samba as their latest signing on monday.

Think pretty much every QPR fan wishes this to be true. Heard that this is more likely in January

Agreed that Samba will sign - this will give QPR a very good mid-table squad

He is playing in turkey now

No they wont, Hughes reckoned he may have to wait until January for him.

This rumour is incorrect , happy in Russia now

Just remember to come here tuesday and say sorry for doubting.

He must be delighted linked with qpr reading and Wigan his best bet go to league1 where there is bigger clubs

WTF "his best bet go to" you must have been spitting feathers reading this post. You need to deal with your anger problem before you become bitter and twisted and have to start following fulham. Oh yes may i add Samba will be a QPR player but not before january. It sounds like a french CB (can't recall his name) from CS Maritimo's may well arrive on monday for a medical

Qpr is now a huge club

Lot of people struggling to deal with the fact QPR are building a base to become a bigger player in the top flight

29 Jul 2012 00:47:51
Doncaster are set to sign rob jones from SWFC on a 2-year deal
Also Billy paynter is wanted no bid or anything as of yet just an enquiry about him
Also paul quinn former Motherwell captain is wanted by saunders but needs to prove himself in the pre season games while hes on trial
Brian stock told me before game he expects to leave the club in the next 2 weeks

Doncaster need players to leave before thy cna bring them in players excpecting to leave are big earners such as james coppinger and brian stock

We have a player leaving, and yes we are bringin players in, rob jones to be confirmed and Saunders is working on 2 or 3 others

29 Jul 2012 00:45:35
Norwich City have had a bid accepted by French side Lorient for Togo international midfielder Alaixys Romao, the Premier league side will discuss personal terms with the player early next week and if all goes well the transfer should be completed within the next week or so

Norwich will do ok this season, WIGAN ,READING ,STOKE for the drop

29 Jul 2012 00:13:59
Doncaster look set to sign 2 players this coming week. Derek Riordan could sign a 2yr deal with Rovers. The other player that is close to signing is Liam Rosenior. Dean Saunders is also monitoring James Bailey's status at Derby and Billy Kee's status at Burton Albion.

Liam Rosenior? I'd be very surprised at that

Kees not moving anywhere, rowett aint that daft, doncaster couldnt afford him.

Why would liam go for playing week in week out for a soon to be premiership team to playing for league 1 doncaster rovers haha head full of magic

If you have 2 million for rosenior

No chance of Donny affording Riordan's wages either..

29 Jul 2012 00:07:33
Ex lions player Ryan smith is close to signing a contract to rejoin his old club after a fee was agreed between millwall and his current club rumoured to be around the 350 thousand mark

Doubt this will happen was a good player not good enough for our current squad

Was a very good player but honestly don't want him back.

I say sign him put him left wing so we can sell barron

What a load of nonsense!

Why Barron is rubbish league one player at best and i mean very best ryan smith is miles better

Barron is league player at very best. Smith is MSL squad player at best - cost £150k when we bought him from Derby after they paid £500k from Arsenal. Dodgy atttitude, career in decline, why on earth are we now gonna pay £350k for him now and how on earth is one a replacement for each other??? Both not good enough, play in different positions?? Like I said 'what a load of nonsense'!!!

29 Jul 2012 00:06:38
Leeds Boss Neil Warnock will not mess around when it comes to spending the 3m that he recieved earlier in this week from the Snodgrass sale. The experienced boss has already launched a £1.5m bid for Wigan's Dave Jones. Milwall's Darius Henderson is also on Leeds' radar with Warnock set to offer £750,000 for the strong hitman.

We only received 1.5mil up-front, so that's impossible. And I doubt we will be signing any more midfielders. Its a striker and a right-back, and possibly David Templeton. That seems to be about it for this summer.
wally

He dosent waste time wasting money. All the teams hes been with he has spent far too much money.Look at qpr now even though they have alot of money they have too many players as he just kept buying without selling meaning the club has to give compensation to players they are forced to release.Plus all the players he buys are all old

Nunez will be a great addition. Although he has not featured much- he is a prolific scorer in reserves / cup games.

Darius henderson would cost more like 2million he wont be sold as millwall do not need money and he has just recently bought a house after renting

He can't spend the 3m because we only got 1.5m upfront !

Thats a strange one. as far as i was aware david jones's contract has expired and is on a free. so neil warnock the exprienced manager as you call him is paying 1.5m over the guide price. well done him

Jones is still under contract for Wigan as he's been on your pre season tour to Austria.

2 million for henderson yeah right keep dreaming

28 Jul 2012 23:56:20
Watford boss Gianfranco Zola looks set to offer striker James Mcfadden a 2yr deal. The striker who has been training with Motherwell would love the chance to play under the attacking minded boss. Zola also is closing in on Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran on a season long loan after RDM earlier this week could not guarentee first team football for the 20 year old.

SMITH DEAL AGREED

Tommy smith?

Can't see McEachran coming to Watford. He will be looking for a loan to the Premiership

A lot of u seem excited about smith coming back , BUT he didnt really feature last season and hes getting NO younger . AGREE hes a legend thou . it would be a sideways rather than forward step . lets just stick with the memories and move on .

Yeah didn't feature much in the prem! He could still do a job in the championship tho :)!

28 Jul 2012 23:50:57
Derby's Steve Davies edges closer to a move towards Ipswich. The striker who has been destined to leave since the summer will seal a £750,000 deal. Another player that could leave Pride Park this summer is James Bailey. The midfielder has been on the transfer list for over a month but so far no club has stepped up to bid for the player. My sources have lead me to believe that both Doncaster and St Johnstone are sniffing around the player though the asking price could possibly rule both teams out of the running.

Players coming in to Derby this summer is still relatively unknown with Nigel Clough still a big fan of Conor Sammon. Other targets for the Rams boss is Connor Wickham on a season long loan and Southampton's Jonathan Forte who coulod leave for £300,000.

Davis deal about to hit the rocks, too higher price

Connor wickham will never go derby

Itfc do not want him.......over-priced and derby can keep him as he is always injured

Ipswich has first refusal on Connor Wickham on loan, part of the agreement that took him to Sunderland in the first place

Derby would be better going for Lee Barnard from Southampton

I thought he was leaving aswell. But nigel clough would rather loose the 250k we payed for him in the first place than let someone take him for 500k when they want 1 million. The latest offer was 450k + priskin who isnt worth 550k.

Connor wickham on loan won't happen...

I reckon Forte would cost you a little more than that but good luck with him he can be quite the good player on his day.

Theres another unnamed club looking at davies

How could they have offered Priskin?
He left 18 months ago......

Any truth in this?
Would be quality signings

Derby could never afford Wickhams wages

Pretty sure Nigel said he's buying youth this year and won't bring in anyone over the age of 25 so I can't see Forte or Barnard coming.

Priskin was released from his contract at Ipswich last season and has signed for a new club since. So your post of 450k + Priskin is way off the mark.

BMITFC

Priskins not at Ipswich now. You'd better check your sources!

Ipswich wont pay £750,000 for Davies Source: Paul Jewell

Forte is going to notts county for 75k
he wont go to derby as he wont get first team football.

whoever said 300k isnt enough is is dreamland too may i add, as he only has 1 year left on his deal as it is

28 Jul 2012 23:45:42
Milwall look set to launch a raid for 2 players within the up coming days. Aston Villa's Fabian Delph will attract a season long loan bid from the Lions. Whilst QPR's Rob Hulse will start negotiations with the club as Milwall look set to offer £300,000 for the striker.

Lol no chance with delph currently injured and when told to go out on loan last season he said the only place for him was leeds

Complete nonsense!

Would be a good move for hulse

Millwall are looking at 18/20 yr olds IM AFRAID!

Pls take hulse

28 Jul 2012 23:36:39
Sheff Wed have signed Rhys McCabe after he rejected Rangers Newco and also turned down Everton.

Source: Sky Sports News

He was sitting in the stands at yesterdays friendly at Donny Rovers

So he turned down bigger wages to play more often probably for a team ofering no more than 3k a week

28 Jul 2012 23:33:59
Exeter City have made a enquiry for Tonbridge Striker Francis Collins. Itis expected the Striker will sign for £10k but have a 35% sell on with add ons for Goals and appearances

You will have one hell of a striker in Franny Collins, averages 30 + a season for the Angels & Dover Ath, i think he's worth more at least £50K

Sunderland are in advanced talks to sign 3 players Martin olsson from Blackburn for a fee of around 5mil Scott Sinclair from Swansea for a fee of Around 7mil after he refused a contract and could leave next year for free and lastly Mcgeady for a fee of around 9mil. All to be completed next week this will add attacking flare and pace down the wings and solves there LB problem. Expect Larson, Richardson and bramble to be sold to free up more money for 1 or 2 top strikers. With theses signings looks like Sunderland will be Playing 4-3-3.

Mon stated he is looking for strikers not wingers olson maybe

Is this true?

Heard exactly the same from a scout

Yes because Sunderland are going to spend 17m on two left wingers lmao
Brian

Why would sunderland sell one of there star players in Seb Larsson?

Sunderland have sold bent for 24mil henderson for 20mil then spent 30mil that's a profit of 14mil then we have loaned and sold gyan for a total of 12mil that's 26mil profit so far then all the players let go 14 will save around 200k a week so yes Sunderland have money to spend and then some and a lot of wages aswell even more if they sell Richardson etc. so I totally believe oneill will spend big. And larsson is to slow for oneills 4-3-3 counter attacking style. So if he's sold it's all profit as he was free and so was Gardner.

If olsen came to safc, surely larson being there would be a contributing factor

stoke to sign:
Johnson on loan
Knightly perminatley
so we can play proper football.

Also jones to leave along with Walters.
They are to be replaced by??

I feel that if TP dont act soon then scfc
could be looking at the championship

Erm let's see!! Jones maybe Walters no chance. Per season played 3 scored 2. Does that seem to you like pulis is getting a player fit for another side. Get back on FIFA 12 son

Need to sell before buying , we will be going down this season

Agree, think stoke will find it tough this season , could be for the drop

Bit worried at the lack of activity, every season pullis buys late then says they are not stoke fit please more creativity than last seasons industrial style boring football

I know this is verging on near impossible, but it is going around that saints are going to bid to bring theo walcott back to the south coast

Haha dont think so, why would he take a step back.

While it would be awesome to have him home its a load of rubbish. God knows where they got this story from, but it wont happen....We have a wage structure and this would demolish it. Also before we get the same old people commenting on this saying "Typical Saints fans thinking they can buy anyone" etc etc this rumour was on the Sunday Mirror website, not just made up by a Saints fan.

LLS83

^^ yeah coz thats what you do

No its not what we do, you have no clue at all.

Following the injury of loan target Will Keane, Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray hopes to bring in Norwegian youth international Joshua King on a season long loan. King, who spent the latter half of last season on loan at Hull City, scored the equalising goal in a 2 - 1 win over Middlesbrough in April. The pacey striker striker has also had loan spells with Preston North End and Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach .

huddersfield are looking at signing either ross mccormack,or james vaughan on a season long loan with a view to a permanent deal, they may also get sean morrison on a season long loan as reading rant willing to sell him

You won't get morrison at all. he is needed for backup this season

Utter rubbish..!

No ross is staying

I don't think the saga with Morrison and Rhodes was all it was cracked up to be. It was an element of interest from both clubs leading to the rumour mill blowing it out of all proportion. It wasn't no rhodes no Morrison at all, if Huddersfield met our valuation we would have sold. We do need him for back up this season and therefore that may have inflated his valuation from the reading point of view.

^^^^ thank goodness, Morrison not good enough

Morrison actually looks quite good too good for huddersfield

Morrison not good enough? 1 of top players last season!
haha even reading fans starting to notice qualities, shame we missed out on him!

Ipswich look set to sign Ross Barkley from everton on a season long loan player due to have a medical early next week

Also Steve Davies from derby as everyone knows

And Carl jenkinson from arsenal as wenger feels he needs to breach the gap between league 1 and prem as he didn't quite cut it last year

Steve davies was the subject of a 500k bid that angered nigel clough after he has repeatly told Jewell for 1 million.
The two managers are to discussing again but jewell says he dosent have that kind of money but will make it up with cash plus players but nigel already has his targets so dosent want players.Basically it will hit the rocks with him either seeing out his contract or being sold in january or derby will just take the 500k.But SSn reported blackburn made an 800k offer so dont know what happened there

I really hope the Carl Jenkinson rumour is true! But I highly doubt it is.

portsmouth forward dave kitson and izale mcleod is one of the four players in which carlisle united manger greg abbott is interested. {Ed027's Note -

Izale Mcleod is on trial with Portsmouth and says he will continue to reject other clubs

Kitson you can have hopefully, but McLeod is still hopeful of signing for us.

But Portsmouth will not be able to afford him, so his trial will be over soon

Think you might be wrong there sunshine

It's not a case of being able to afford him or not, it's a case of having a club or not.

McLeod will either end up signing for Portsmouth or Former club Colchester. He has kept in good relations in the east, but all going well he'll be at Portsmouth next season

According to my friend who works alongside steve parish, palace have enquired about macheda on a season long loan from Manchester united, Craig Mackail Smith from Brighton for £1.5m plus a fringe player and richard chaplow from southampton, it is thought they are lining up a £750k bid for the midfielder.

Is there any Palace rumour that doesn't have something about Brighton in it ?. You haven't approached us for CMS and you know it.

LMAO. CMS won´t go for less than 2.5 million, and only if there is a replacement lined up. And Macheda to palace? Get real!!!

Hardly likely we would release another player to Palace, and even less likely we would incurr a loss on him - but on the other hand I was surprised to hear ManU are releasing Wayne Rooney to us for one pound .......

I think Chaplow would cost more but we'd happily offer him as part of an exchange for Zaha.

As a palace fan i can assure you we do not have 1.5 million to spoend on any individual player our budget will depend on what package we get from clyne which will be about 1.7 million which will be invested in around 4 or 5 new additions from lower leagues and maybe loan premiershipo youngsters

Chaplow has no intention of leaving, as far as I know. Good impact sub, especially if start the season with a lack of wingers.

Macheda would break our wage budget, nor Freedman or Parish would let that happen. CMS would cost way to much to sign, Freedman has already said we won't be spending that kind of money on a player. As for Richard Chaplow, again, 750k? We wouldn't want to spend that money on any player.. - Palace Fan

Why are palace either tring to get all our playes or bidding for the players we are what happens to McCormack then

I've heard palace are after Buckley as well, Any more ridiculous rumours?

750k would be a steal for Chaplow to be fair. Very good championship level player who will have limited chances with us this season.
Early last season he was brilliant for us so you'd have top a million I'd say unless he is part of a deal for Zaha of course!

It's some Palace person trying to be funny and antagonise us Brighton fans. Just laugh !! Lol. It's quite a complement actually as they obviously see our players as better players. Otherwise why start a rumour.

Mackail smith giong to wednesday so thats crap true about macheda tho

Reading to bid for Andrey Ashavin from Arsenal to partner the Pog up front {Ed027's Note - they might bid, but theyll cry when they see his wages

Fulham are more likely to sign him

Complete and utter non story. way out of our price range.

We are trying to get good players

If Reading cant afford his wages how on earth are Fulham going to?

Are reading signing kondogbia???? {Ed003's Note -nope}

Watford boss Gianfranco Zola wants to add QPR striker Dj Campbell to his ranks to help his side challenge for promotion from the Championship.

Looool I already broke this news buddy! Read other posts before posting yeah!

He wont drop down a division to watford who have more chance of going down then up with zola in charge. Wigan are keeping an eye on him

Any truth in this tho? Not like we'll find out as there's something going on behind the scenes..!

More chance of going down? We ate improving our squad and we came 11th last year! You obviously have no idea about football..!

"more chance of going down than up". Ermmm don't think so.

DJ has said that he doesnt want to move to far from the London area because of family.

The Wigan & Blackburn rumours are just that.....but it helps to get a 2 or 3 year contract from Watford at very good wages......as DJ says....it's all about the money, money, money

Good signing if watford could pull it off he'll be very hungry after his disasterous time at loftus rd. I would say though if Wigan feel he'll help them stay upp they would be badly mistaken

Simon Cox and Ben-Haim interesting Blackburn Rovers.

Rovers also looking to get 3m for olsson and 9m for n'zonzi

If Nzonzi is worth 9m then i give up,surely he's in the 3m-5m bracket at best, decent player but behave.

N'Zonzi for 9M ? Maybe Liverpool would pay it but nobody else. £5M tops.

Plausable

Arsenal will be in for Cazorla, but they need to sell RVP first. They do not want to sell him to either Manchester side so are in negotiations to sell to Juventus, who can't afford to offer as much money. So they are negotiating with Juve over a makeweight player to accompany the maximum 18.5 million pounds the Torino giants are willing to pay. Likely it is midfielder Manuel Giandonato Then to get Cazorla... They are not willing to pay more than the 18.5 million they get for Van Persie, so have to sweeten the pot themselves. The belief is that they will loan Ignasi Miquel for a year with a first option to buy for Malaga in the event Arsenal sells Miquel.

In a nutshell -- Van Persie to Juve for 18.5 million pounds plus 20 year old Manuel Giandonato.

Cazorla to Arsenal for 18.5 million pounds plus a loan of Ignasi Miquel.

I doubt he will leave. Not saying he will sign a new contract. But no club has major interest enough to meet arsenals fair valuation.Manchester city maybe seen as money bags but with FFP coming in they are focused if they buy anyone on youngsters.Manchester united would need to sell Berbatov then raise the cash to buy him as they are in massive debt that is now finally being investigated after massive complaints from United fans.Juventus looked the massive favourite but they have pulled out for some unknown reason.

I think your contacts are well wrong firstly wengers bid for cazorla doesnt depend on van persie being sold he wants to keep van persie and play cazorla off of him or on the right

middlesbrough have completed the signing of bristol rovers midfielder mustapha carayol. The fee at present is undisclosed, however sources close to boro's management suggest the figure to be around 350k, with a number of contract add ons and clauses.

He signs tomorrow

So carayol still hasn't signed. All you ITK people arent looking very good.

Yet another statement of our ambition ,carayol a good player ,one season and gone.we really are at the bottom of the pile

He had 4 good games for rovers last season and when we took the kids to the last game we were in the uplands suit after the game and he had such a chip that when my son asked for a photo he said only the press for photos and just brushed him to the side nice way to treat your fans even a 7 year old ....glad to se him go
