Arsenal will sign Adriano from Inter in the summer with Campbell going the other way. I f Campbell does go then AW will look for another experienced defender (Thuram would be a BIG possibility). Cole will not be moving anywhere in the premiership as AW would rather sell him to a foreign club (most likely RM - who also want Reyes) so expect AW to look to add Robinho or Casilas (Pending on the Juve situation and Buffon) in a swap deal.

I hear that Inter Milan are lining up Fiorentina striker Luca Toni to replace wantaway striker Adriano. The Brazilian has apparently been linked with Real Madrid and Arsenal, so Toni could become Inter's next recruit as his replacement.

I found it highly amusing how at the top of the page he stated what Newcastle's team would be next season, then later on posted rumours about Newcastle trasfers, with a brand new player on! I wouldn't think Newcastle would sign someone and not even put them in the squad! Please 'V1', post rumours that atleast aren't contradictory so we can pretend to beleve them. Real rumours I have heard about N.U.F.C are the obvious ones.

Can confirm there is something in the rumours suggesting Mourinho will be leaving Chelsea (rumoured to be in 2007 though could even be as early as this summer). Ballack and Shevchenko are Abramovich signings NOT Mourinho's who is starting to lose influence over team affairs. The potential signing of Roberta Carlos highlights this fact even more so. Abramovich is taking a role more similar to presidents of clubs on the continent who dictate the clubs transfer policy. Jose likes young, hungry, hard working players with a team ethic so that he can mould and easily influence them as oppose to having older, established big name players with potentially clashing egos. My partner, who works for an airline crew (who shall remain nameless) met Craig Bellamy (got the auto too) on a midweek flight to Glasgow. It was later on when she saw Bellamy in The Radisson Hotel with a group of men she asked a colleague if they knew what it was all about. Reports in the press suggest that Liverpool FC are on the verge of a takeover, and that it has been verbally agreed on July 1st. The reason this has not been made official is because teams will start asking for more money.
Liverpool are also ready to splash out 9.5 million on darren bent, however the charlton chairman is unwilling to let him go. But with a 7 million profit in 1 season it may be too much to resist.
Djibril Cisse is to complete a move to Marseille or Lyon before the world cup. Marseille are ready to bid 8 million which Rafa is willing to accept.
Pablo Aimar may be on his way to LFC after Valencia admitted they are ready to let him go. Liverpool offered 10 million last season but the offer was rejected however it may be enough this time around.
With Sevilla sending Saviola back to Barcelona, they have removed Barca's first option on Daniel Alves. Therefore it looks like Liverpool are favourites to sign him for 8 million. Liverpool representatives are working hard to complete the deal in the coming week or two.
Jermaine Defoe is keen on a move to LFC, with Kewwll possibly moving int he opposite direction. A 5 million puond plus Kewell maybe enogh for LFC to persuade Martin Jol to accept. Also with Jermaine Defoe's squad number being given to Dimitar Berbatrov, and with Carlton Cole seemingly on his way. Defoe may be surplus to requirements.
AC Milan are aiming to use the money they recieve from shevchenko's move to Chelsea to try to convince Liverpool to let go of their prized posession. However with Milan only willing to offer 17 million, LFC are unlikely to accept after they rejected 32 million from chelsea last season.
Liverpool will find out in the next week whether Mark Gonzalez will play next season after they apllied for a work permit on June 1st. At the moment it is looking good as Chile are in the 70 ranked teams, and also Mark Gonzalez has made a name for himself after his performances for Real Sociedad last season.

Load of rubbish about Vieira coming back to the Gunners. No way would Wenger resign him - he made his decision and he'll stand by it, it's just not in him to go back on something like that. Juve do owe us cash though and talk of Torres seems to be wide of the mark. Ibrahimovic or Trezeguet a strong possibility. Cole will stay but Campbell definitely out, which is a shame as he'll probably be replaced by Thuram (slightly creaky these days). Lots of flannel about Man Utd signing every player under the sun. Owen WON'T be going to Old Trafford. If he has a decent World Cup, he'll be priceless and the fact that he is the only hope of filling Shearer's boots means he'll stay on Tyneside til next season at least. Kevin Foley will sign a 4 year deal with Paris Saint-Germain after the World Cup. Foley has been linked with many clubs recently and has turned down the likes of West Ham, Spurs and Liverpool to join the Paris outfit. PSG have paid Luton €2.2 million for the player + young centre back L Mabiala.
With the money from Foley, Mike Newell will sign a right back with Kevin O'Conner top of his list.
