For L.F.C fans,

After the game on Thursday, me and my mate seen Mascherano in his Audi Q7 stuck in traffic at the top of Utting Ave, we knocked on his window to say hello and good job on the immense performance he put in at right back against athletico, he seemed pissed off and we asked him if he was staying next season, he shuck his head and said no, before turning right onto Priory Road,

Make of it what you want, but this 100% percent happened, hope he was blowing smoke up our bottoms.

True Arsenal FC rumours:

GK: Wenger will not sign Gk's like Adler, Lloris, Akineev, as they will get in the way of Woijech Szcensny. I think Sebastien Frey for a cut price of £7M would be a great season. He has a few years left in him, and then Szcensny will be mature enough to take over. Frey is a world class keeper and vastly experienced.

CB: It is no secret that Neven Subotic is the favoured CB, but Manchester United may prise us out, and they do have a history of overspending. Simon Kjaer would be a very smart signing at £12M. His preferred destination was Liverpool, but they won't be in the Champions League, and if Palmero do not qualify for the Champions League, i think he may be tempted to move to Arsenal. I Personally think he would be amazing with Vermaelen. Gary Cahill would be unlikely.

CM: I don't think we need a midfielder as Wenger could move Nasri back into the middle again, but Felipe Melo is being linked alot now to Arsenal, and if the Price is right, Wenger may attempt to sign him. If Melo is not signed, Nzonzi will sign for £6M

CF: We all know Marouane Chamakh will sign for Arsenal, but i think Romelo Lukaku would be one of the best signings this Summer. He is probably the most matured 16 year old you would find, and he is a mixture of Drogba's Strength and Torres' Pace. He would cost £9M, but he is unlikely to leave RSC Anderlecht, so we might try and sign him and loan him back for a season.

Wing: There is no doubt Arsene Wenger is after Eden Hazard of Lille. However, Hazard has stated that he wants to stay at Lille for one more season. He has also said Arsenal or Real Madrid will be his only options, but going to Real Madrid would mean he would probably be Cristiano Ronaldo's understudy. He will probably sign for Arsenal next summer for a fee around £14M.

Outs:

Andrei Arshavin: I would sell Arshavin as he has such a bad attitude. He has stated about 3 or 4 times Arsenal will not win the title, and he has now said that he wants to go to Barcelona. There as even been a newspaper report said that it is a done deal that he will go to barcelona, but I doubt he said that. Arshavin's value is reaching its peak, so I personally feel that Wenger will sell him for £20M, which he could use to sign a quality young player with e.g Yoann Gourcoff.

Manuel Almunia: Although pretty much everyone wants to sell him for around £4M back to Spain, this may not happen. He is not a No.1 goalie, but he may be better if he was Arsenal's No.2 goalie.

William Gallas: I don't see him signing an extension because he is turning 33 and he is getting injured pretty easily now.

Sol Campbell: How can Wenger not give him an extension, he has proved vital in games without Gallas, and he keeps himself in good shape.

Other Outs:

Mikael Silvestre – Free
Fran Merida – Free
Kerrea Gilbert – Free
Armand Traore – £4M

Possible Deals: If Inter sell Maicon, they will probably sign Sagna for £15M, and then we will sign Gregory Van Der Wiel for £8M

Loans:

Jack Wilshere
Carlos Vela
Eduardo
Lukasz Fabianski

Wellington Silva and Ramsey to join as U21's in January. Galindo and Sunu will be registered as U21 Players.

DIC or linked business men now in the lead to take over Liverpool. Chinese investors still in there too. Come on guys; make yourselves heros & get the Yanks out now. Whoever takes over will decide Rafa's fate, if its DIC he will go.

02 May 2010 19:11:18
Arsenal to sign 3 players this summer aside from Chamakh, who is to arrive for free.
the first is a GK, this is going to be one of Frey or Stekelenberg. None of Lloris, Neuer, Adler, Akinfeev, Green or Doni will be signed, Wenger has never bought high profile GKs, remember: Lehmann, Fabianski, Manninger, Wright. my pick is Frey for £7m.
Next will be a CB. one will be signed regardless of whether Gallas stays or goes. all money on a move for Subotic. Wenger hopes to have this deal tied up before the WC, in case he excels for Serbia. £15m.
Thirdly and lastly will be Steven Nzonzi for £6m. he is tall, powerful and a good passer, and is technically astute. would keep Song on his toes.
Rumours about Eden Hazard are both right and wrong. right because Wenger is indeed interested, but wrong because he won't move this summer. Considering he himself has indicated Arsenal and RMadrid as his only possible destinations, there is less pressure on Wenger to sign him this summer. However, if Madrid make a move and sign him this summer, expect Wenger to make a move for Lukaku. He wouldn't want to miss out on both of these fine talents.
INS: Chamakh(free), Subotic(15), Frey(7), Nzonzi(6)
OUTS: Almunia(4), Fabianski(L), Silvestre(free), Senderos(free), Traore(3), Merida(free), Wilshere(L), Vela(L), Simpson(4)
SQUAD:
FREY Szczesny Mannone
Sagne Eboue Clichy Gibbs Botelho Vermaelen Gallas SUBOTIC Djourou Campbell
Song NZONZI Eastmond
Fabregas Diaby Ramsey Denilson Galindo
Nasri Walcott Arshavin Rosicky WellingtonSilva
vPersie CHAMAKH Bendtner Sunu

next summer: hazard(12m + Vela), Nordtveit promoted.
out: Gallas, Campbell, Rosicky(5).

Hibernian F.C have this afternoon sacked their manager John Hughes, assistant Brian Rice will remain at club for last two remaining games, official statement by club will be released tomorrow morning.

It is understood recent poor results and form has contributed to his dismissal.

Fabio cappello is the new liverpool manager

02 May 2010 18:00:14
I have it from a very reliable source that Roy Hodgson will not be moving to Liverpool. The so called "friends" conversation mentioned in the press isn't accurate. It stems from a conversation with a few "more established" members of the journalist fraternity who asked him about challenges in his life. The England topic arose but nothing else. Fully expect Hodgson and press (broadsheets) to put distance between him and Liverpool tomorrow.

Fulham news:

O'Hara is waning due to Grant linked with West Ham, O'Hara is currently assessing all his options and West Ham are offering a better financial package.

02 May 2010 18:01:05
To the championship manager playing guy who said this
"02 May 2010 15:05:38Manu United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Citeh to all put money together to ensure Benitez stays at Anfield.Real rumour now, Man Utd to sell Berbatove to AC Milan for £20 Million. Foster to Birmingham for £5.5 Million. Carrick to Newcastle or West Ham for around £12 Million. Tosic to Colgne for £7.5 Million. Total in : £45 MillionComing in Akinfeev free Jan 2011.Goucuff £18 Million. Benzema £20 Million plus first option on Vidic. Riquelme may come for a nominal fee. Di Maria to complete the spending at £22 Million"

honestly mate what makes you think anybody would spend £20mil on berbaflop ? hes old and useless. utd will be lucky to get around 8mil for him for 20mil you can sign people like higuan and van persie. berbatov is far faar from their level mate. like i said 8mil would still be expensive but if he was sold he would be sold for around that much, foster signed a new contact not too long ago carrick aswell, actually carrick even stated he will retire at utd.
akinfeev will be sold in the summer since cska don't wana loose him on a free transfer.
gourcuff won't join an english club as many many clubs including united have tried before and failed. and whats first option on vidic ? if real madrid are interested and vidic wants to join em their aint alot united can do what makes you think united choose where he can play? remember ronaldo's slae ?
chelsea and mancity are also very interested in di maria and man utd are in noo position to go in a bidding war with them.
the board even addmitted they have financial issues this year and won't spend alot unless the likes of nani and rooney are sold.
united's biggest signings and only signings in the summer will be
kasper shmeichel (son of peter schmeicel the legend)
cheapish striker like dirk kuyt to play rotation with berbaflop.

My friends dad was speaking to Daniel Agger in the local restruant and he says that gerrard is definitely goin to city.. he wouldn't need to move house. he has done all he can with liverpool, now he will get his money at city.. i can't see liverpool doing too well in the future

02 May 2010 18:17:08
Why oh why do so many on here keep sending the rumour of Carlton Cole to Villa, and Big John leaving. I know that O'Neil isn't the best of dealers in the transfer market, but really Cole? not a chance unless hell freezes. O'Neil wants, NO NEEDS a striker who will do the job, ie ball in the bag. Cole is only a younger version of Ivanhoe and as such is surplus to requirements. O;Neil knows Keane and will get his man this year. Bent may feature but although he has kept SAFC going, he is not quite the pedigree that is needed. Beckford is a cheap option and as we all know this is were O'Neil likes to shop, lower leagues to develop the player. The list of departures will make the job centre very busy as O'Neil clears the decks for next season. He will make a huge loss on the players that are now on the not good enough list and will spend providing Mr Lerner allows him some flexibility. The defence is where again the main money will be spent with Shawcross the top man on his list, and Davies will be allowed to depart to any one of the teams below Villa in the table. He was a gamble that has failed, and £6m down the pan. Too many mediocre signings have resulted in Villa only getting 6th again. To improve, quality must be signed, so discount Cole and the like of him and watch for the 20+ goal man to arrive.

I have just been informed by a very reliable source that tottenham will sign lee grant on emergency loan as gomes got injured at the weekend and harry see's grant as the he could get as Sheffield wed got relegated.

02 May 2010 17:30:41
Villa can't get fourth now and Oneil wants to buy in order to put in a better challenge for next season.

Lerner has about 20million to put towards transfers this year, and Oneill wants to raise some more cash.

Barca are after Young for 20 – 25mil
Man Utd are after Milner (dont know how much) but Oneill will do whatever he can to keep hold of him
Reo–Coker is wanted by Everton, Fulham and Blackburn for 4 – 8mil
Shorey is might make his move at Fulham permanent or Wolves might snatch him before Fulham do at a price of 4mil
Sidwell is being chased by Bolton and Wigan for 3 – 5mil
Heskey is wanted by Liverpool, PSV and Galatasray for 4mil

Which gives Oneill around 60 – 70mil to play with, even if Villa hold on to Milner.

Some players have been mentioned that Oneill has been keeping close tabs on.

Ireland 5mil
Carlton Cole 10mil
Keane 8mil
Huddlestone 8mil
Hamsik 15mil
Green 7mil

02 May 2010 17:54:00
Sir Alex Ferguson is planning to play majority 4–4–2 next season. He will be able to make 1 big signing and might purchase a good player at a bargain price. Apparently they are going for Karim Benzema and will place a bid after they offer Wazza a new deal. They will attempt to get him on loan and buy Gareth Bale. Luká Modric is apparently a smokescreen to try and buy someone else(must be a thick smokescreen). They will try and buy Hugo Lloris but René Adler is their 1st choice Likely to decide before the world cup.
Unknown.

About 6 weeks ago i told you that D.I.C will be the new owners and that rafa was going to juve.
now the buy out is complete and the search for a new manager is under way.the new manager will either be mourinio, rijkaard or hodgson, capello was approached but he feels obliged to see out his contract with england.the stadium is being redesigned to accomadate 80,000 fans but work will start almost immediatley and it will be ready in 18 months time.no transfer budget is in place but the manager will have funds available for any player he wants.no point guessing which players are coming or going because nobody knows until a new manager is announced, i told you i cannot reveal how i know all this but everything i have said has happened, all i can say is that my work involves working with the club and i don't make anything up about certain players who we are going to sign or who we are going to sell.yes the team will change significantley for next season and expect 3 or 4 big signings but the emphasis will also be to develop the youth system to produce future stars for the first team.
with all the players heading to south africa for the world cup the club is looking to move quickly and make the signings before the tournament starts as most of the players could be away for 5 weeks.
the new manager will be revealed by the end of this week.FACT

Christian Purslow has drawn up a shortlist of 5 potential replacements for Rafael Benitez who is now definatley on his way to Juventus, Jose Mourinho, Roy Hodgson, Guus Hiddink, Martin O Neill and Kenny Daglish{the outsider} at the minute the odds are shortening on Hodgson all the time since he has taken Fulham from last day survival 3 years ago into a European final on Thursday.Jose Morinho is also being lined up for the Real Madrid job but this is dependent on whether or not Pelligrini stays in charge which could well happen as although they were knocked out of the Champions League very early on but has made massive progress since and are still just 1 point behind Barcelona with 4 games to go.Liverpool will not announce Rafa leaving until after the Hull game and don't expect them to be in any hurry to find his replacement, they will take their time and make the decision which is right for Liverpool football club also new owners might want a certain manager.

02 May 2010 15:31:35
Liverpool have shortlisted Martin O'Neill, Roy Hodgson, Mark Hughes and Jose Mourinho to replace Rafa Benitez is the Spaniard ends his six year spell at Anfield this summer. Martin O'Neill is the favourite for the job with James Milner likely to follow him to Liverpool.

To person said this
"Just to put you right.
D.I.C. will not invest as they are $70 billion in debt, that is why they were knocked back when liverpool were sold last time ( check out reuters if you don't believe me.) The best thing for Liverpool would be for Kenneth Huang to complete his take over (especially as he is noe in due dilligence) his £500 mill offer was accepted some time ago."
i think the real bidder is the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
He is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. it means that all the money of uae, actually he can take it out.money is not a problem..

2 former Southampton players COULD be returning to the club. Alan Pardew has spoken to Stern John and the 2 have put aside their differences, John will be offered a pay–as–you–play deal as Pardew will want more experience in the push for the title. He will arrive on a free transfer.

Another player returning will be Gregorz Rasiak who will buy himself out of his contract and also return on a free transfer as he is tired of not being played. He has also had a bust up with current Reading boss Brian McDermott (not even on the bench for the last game of the season). Rasiak will sign a 2 year–deal and will be used a sub mainly but will be happy to return to a club he loves.

WEST HAM

West Ham are looking to sign Joe Cole from Chelsea on a free transfer in the summer. Sullivan and Gold are willing to reach his wage demands as there will be no transfer fee involved. Liverpool wants Zlatan when David Villa moves to Barcelona.

Yeah, sure we want him, if someone can find an extra 65 million laying around. Let's be realistic. The only way we get him is a swap deal with torres, and that would be a terrible deal for us. The best striker we will get will be tevez or higuain or benzema, an tevez and higuain are outperforming ibrahimovic anyways.

Rafa HAS agreed a deal with Juve to manage there next season, Liverpool are in negotiations with Juve for a sutible composation package. He will not offically admit it after the Chelsea game but will give a strong hint.
The reason for the Liverpool board being so quite is that they are on the verge of a total buy out with a saudi company, the Chinese buyer was just a smoke screen.
The board have drawn up a list of next managers with Mourinhio, O'Neil and Rijkard (spelling) at the top of the list.
This will be concluded in the next couple of weeks (the start of June at the latest) and there will not be a transfer fund as such, but will be money made available for who ever the neww manager wants.
Who they will bring in only they know.
But it has been a very dark season for Liverpool and the team and manager has performed unexceptably. It's been a long dark tunnel but at least there is now light coming to the end of it now.

Rumours flying round manchester at the moment are that James Milner will be joining United in the summer. He will get more recognition at United and maybe this could help him get picked in the starting XI for England more often in the future.

Also Yoann Gourcuff and Karim Benzema will join United.

Berbatov will be going to either AC Milan or Bayern Munich. believe it or not, AC Milan think that his playing style will be much better suited in Italian football and they have a £20m bid planned for him in the summer.

Anderson will be leaving along with Foster.

A bunch of reserves will be loaned out for a season.

Pienaar still has 12 months left on his contract so why would he go on a free to manure in the summer? Get your facts right before posting.

02 May 2010 08:14:30
The people posting on this site seem to be getting more farcical. What team has anyone ever known that have changed 10–15 players in a single transfer window. To the person who thinks Pienaar is goning to Lpool on a free; he still has a year on his contract left so please do a little research first. Latest news is that Moyes is after Onouha.

Was at a corporate lunch with none other then The King, Kenny Dalglish. He was obviously not giving too much away, was basically just saying how stoked he was to have an official role at the club again. He also said he hopes Rafa stays, new ownership is close, he expects our stars to all stay aswell. Also mentioned how he has his eyes on some exciting juniors, we kept pressing him for names. Not expecting him to give us anything obviously, but I guess he trusted us and appreciated the support. But he asked us if we had heard of Romelu Lukaku, most hadn't heard of him, I had. He said the club are going for him in a big way. For those who don't know who Lukaku is, 194cm 96kg explosive striker. Drogba power, Torres pace. Only 16, already full Belgian international. He is the leading goal scorer in the Belgian league this season with 15 goals. It was no secret Liverpool wanted a power forward, with previous links with Kenwyn Jones and Carlton Cole. Lukaku will be twice the player. A Torres/Lukaku partnership will be frightening. You heard it first hear.

this is a load of rubbish, my company who is the QS & PM working on behalf of the club arent even mentioned and since we are working WITH the club i can confirm this is untrue

Bewsflash kiddies:

David Silva won't be playing in the EPL next season. Real Madrid are supposedly very interested and he'd be likely to become a key player for them with Guti and Raul probably on their way out in the summer. This rumour has been flying around Spain for quite some time, Silva is thought to be very interested and Pellegrini has already made his desire to sign him known in recent months.

Conversely any chance of him going to any club in the the EPL is simply very misguided speculation by Arsenal/Man U/Chelsea (and even Man City) fans that seem to think world class players will join their team at a whimper.

02 May 2010 03:06:15
Alex Ferguson will continue his tradition of signing at least one top EPL player in the summer transfer window by recruiting on–fire striker Darren Bent as a replacement for underperforming Bulgarian misfit Dimitar Berbatov, who will be leaving Old Trafford in time for next season. Bent is said to be very interested in taking up the chance to play alongside fellow England international Wayne Rooney, while Berbatov would see a move away from Old Trafford as a fantastic opportunity to further his career in light of his short and somewhat unconvincing stint at Manchester United.

I heard that the American owners are wanting to bring Avram Grant to Liverpool after his decent performances as manger with Chelsea and Pompey. I think he would be a class manager considering the financial crap at Anfield. The rumours about the players Grant will bring to Liverpool are Joe Cole on a free, Pinnear on a free, Kevin–Prince Boateng for a minimal amount, Carlton Cole, Berlotti from Inter. Leaving will be Reira, Babbel, Ngog and Lucas BUT Banyaoun will stay.

PAFC news,
Its well documented many Argyle players will be off this summer for a number of reasons.
Outs
Damien Johnson. sees his future in Championship
Mackie.already in negotations with CCC club
Seip.already gone
Gow and Mclean.burnt bridges back to England
Larrieu.probablly with Sturrock and coaching long term role
Mason.attracting 'bigger fish'
Walton.paid off

The players do not rate Mariner, all passion, no footballing sense. He does not have a credible scouting system or enough numbers in his phone book having spent years in the MLS.
If he stays players such as Summerfield, BWP, Noone and Reda Johnson may well decide enough is enough.
It could be a long long season

Villa Fan here:

Villa will have to sell one of there two big stars in milner or young, and it will definately be young as he is linked away from us for 25m which is a real bargain as he isn't the player he use to be. Milner will definately be staying.

The funds for Young and other fringe players such as sidwell, beye and heskey and the little amount of money lerner will give will fund for these players:

I have my sources from my cousin in the academy and mainly paper talk and the players highly linked are:

Shaun–Wright Phillips – 7–11m
Stephen Ireland – 8m
Falcao – 18m, highly unlikely
Parker – 10m
Hleb – 11m or swap deal + cash for young

Doubt any of these will actually come in, expect a striker and maybe a new winger but o'neil isn't the best in the transfer market and we will probably end up with keane or carlton cole what would be a disaster.
