Barcelona summer
In
Neymar 45m
Mats Hummels 25m
Sergio Aguero 30m
Out
Alexis Sanchez 12m
Alex Song 10m
Pedro 12m

They won't sell Pedro, will demand more for Sanchez and do not have the cash to add Aguero to their shopping list but Neymar looks like it will happen and they are certainly looking at Hummels

02 May 2013 22:54:11
stoke looking to sign Holiett as he hinted at leaving QPR last week, although his high wages and 5m price tag could be a stumbling block for the potters.

Stoke also scouting Franco Di Santo from wigan, whos contract runs out with the latics at the end of the season, however this all depends on if Wigan fail to beat the drop

02 May 2013 22:27:59
Oxford are in talks with Lee Cox about a return to the kassam, talks have broken down in the past but management are optimistic this time as they are in the driving seat as he is currently out injured for another 3 months.

Due to the big number of players coming in, Oxford want contracts sorted sooner rather than later so players can have a full pre season so the bulk of the team can start playing together.

Expect movement in at oxford by the end of next week.

Strong source

Cox is wanted by plymouth. big time!

Wilder normally conducts his transfer business by the end of May and signings will be imminent.

03 May 2013 15:39:35
And Cox will not be one of them. It was the decision on OUFC not to keep Cox longer in Jan, and decided to get Montrose instead.
We have moaned about injuries for 2 years. And let better players than Cox go this week, because of injuries.
We're giving every signing a major fitness test. Any sligh doubts and they ain't signing.
So why the hell would we then go and sign a player who wasn't playing every week when here before, and is out with a bad long term injury.
This is a non starter

02 May 2013 22:23:40
Leyton Orient are in talks to sign Cody McDonald on loan from Coventry, he is looking for a move closer to home.

This is true, my friend Mr Jabster told me

Cody will be joining Gillingham on a permanent deal after 2 very successful loans

03 May 2013 06:06:57
Gills fans are the biggest dreamers around.
For a start you could not afford him and second why on earth would he want to go backwards in his job. He would only be fighting a desperate relegation battle if he were foolish enough to even consider joining a tin pot club like Gillingham.

Cody is under contract until 2015 and is not for sale unless it is at least. 750k to trigger the contract clause. No LG 2club including gills or rotherham cannot afford. That.

03 May 2013 20:45:52
if he's going closer to home he's going to Colchester as his family live in nearby witham

02 May 2013 22:07:39
Not a transfer but an inside source in Swansea has told me that Laudrup is going to replace Tito Vilanova as Barcelona manager and current Benfica manager Jorge Jesus will take over Swansea, very reliable source!

No chance. laudrup will not leave
this source is having you on

Really that isn't going to happen, Vilanova will be there next season

Michael laudrup signed a contract extension. so your source is about as true as the statement "Itay Schecter is a good footballer".

02 May 2013 22:06:50
Portsmouth set to sign karim rekik on loan

Is this rumour 2 years old? Won't be loaned out lower than Championship.

Aha ^ there right

His attitued was poor

02 May 2013 21:45:01
work at rockliffe park and can positivly 100% say that there are a host of premiership clubs sniffing around middlesbrough's young CB christian burgess. 20 year old burgess only joined the club from birmingham university last year but is on the verge of his first team debut after some top preformences for the clubs reserves in the U21 premier league. Clubs such as Fulham, Everton and the 2 machester clubs have been credited with intrest in the player.

Would be a waste to sell him now, he'll probably be worth 3-4m soon

02 May 2013 21:38:38
there is a massive intrest from middlesbrough in burton albions jaques maghoma. boss tony mowbray has been scouting lower league talent since the new year after the sucsess of signing mustapha carayol last year from bristol rovers
another target identified is sheffield united young centre back harry maguire. the young centre back has had a great season for the blades and should they fail in there play off bid could become available

other targets are
Jerome phojo
albert adomah
Patryck Malecki

whatch this space Up The Boro

Thought he ran blind alleys tonight

03 May 2013 12:11:47
Harry Maguire has not had an "amazing season" for the Blades. As Boro fan I doubt you've watched him play this season. He has been slow, clumsy and has made far too many defensive errors which have led to goals for the opposition. This has happened on far too many occasions. He also lacks confidence.

02 May 2013 21:51:11
Pulis to leave Stoke at the end of the season. Pulis will resign rather than being Sacked. Walters, Owen, Etherington and Whelan will also leave Stoke

Whose taking over? O'Neill?

02 May 2013 21:38:47
Preston are set to swoop for Tranmere Rovers duo Zoumana Bakayogo and also Owain Fon Williams as they can offer the players more wages, Preston are also set to sign Yeovil's Paddy Madden for 325k and also Doncaster's Rob Jones for 10k as they look for a promotion push next season.

Bakayogo and fon Williams maybe the other 2 not a chance.

02 May 2013 23:24:26
we dnt need rob jones also think paddy madden would jump at the chance to join preston but more like 400k

03 May 2013 06:08:30
Rob jones has just signed a two extention on his contract and is club captain and player coach. Don't thnk so bud

Really? Preston can't afford humes wage? And doubt fon Williams and definatley rob jones will be moving there

Paddy madden is going to the championship not a middle table league 1 side and johnson said he would only sell if best players for over 1 million

So Paddy Madden of Yeovil

Who has a chance of making the Championship in the play offs, would jump at a chance of joining PNE. who have finished near the bottom of League 1 for the last 2 seasons.

I think Paddy will be looking a little higher if he does leave.

I also doubt you have £325k to spend on any player next season

I think you'll be looking at closer to 1 mill for madden

03 May 2013 10:49:15
Rob Jones? Player coach Rob Jones? Signed a 2 year extension last week Rob Jones? Club captain Rob Jones?

You get my drift

Try £800k for Madden.

Paddy madden wouldn't be a bad shout but again would probably look for a bigger club than rovers. Wouldn't mind hayter back!

Watched madden last night two small and average. already got 2 like that

02 May 2013 21:25:05
Killie talk to Queen of the South striker Nicky Clark for summer pre-contract

Hibs to sign dayton

02 May 2013 21:14:13
Leicester are looking at Bolton's Marcos Alonso as a possible long term left-back, also Pearson liked the look of Chalaboh last week and is interested in Kevin Phillips and Stephen Dobbie to add experience and quality.

Not being negative, but seriously doubt Pearson will still be in charge to make any decisions.

He won't go to Leicester when clubs in Serie A want him.

03 May 2013 08:29:24
Marcos Alonso, understandable. Phillips and dobbie?

No chance a load of rubbish!

And unless we are very lucky and we beat forest and Bolton don't win Pearson will be shown the door!

Alonso to Leicester you are havin a laugh. No way. Never heard anything more ridiculous. If he doesn't stay at Bolton he'll go to Fiorentina. Leicester really?

02 May 2013 20:32:18
Oumare Tounkara a summer target for relegated Bristol City. Tounkara impressed during recent loan spell with rivals Bristol Rovers.

Cunningham has said he's happy here, plus he's worth way more than 100k!

One problem with this, tounkarra was not on loan with rovers he signed a short contract as rovers got him on a free

02 May 2013 20:11:53
Stoke Citys most likely signings and sales this summer

In
Pilkington - Norwich city 4m
Redmond -Birmingham city 4m or Garath McCleary - Reading 1m
Luis Cavanda - Lazio 1.5m
Danny Simpson - Newcastle FREE
Andreas Cornelius - Kopenhagn 5m
and top of the fans wishlist is Gary Hooper 10m

out
Begovic 15m
K. Jones 3m
Etherington 1m
Edu 1.5m
Palacios 1m
owen
whitehead

Lets all hope Pulis leaves aswell

Pulis won't go. As much as the fans want the anti-football gone we need to face the facts. Guaranteed to be playing football in the top division against the elite, or the risk of falling back down the leagues to the expense of playing "nice" football, as boring as it now may be, with the squad he has we are over achieving, some good signings will see us being a respected mid table team again and not be in this mess next year

Stoke will most definitely not get mccleary.

Pulis is a joke {Ed034's Note - you cannot be a stoke fans saying that. the guy has made a championship club into an established premiership club. he deserves respect for that from every single Stoke fan

Is McCleary consistent enough for the prem? I don't think so

He deserves to keep his respect from stoke fans intact by leaving at the end of the season. If he doesn't he will have little respect from these stoke fans come relegation next season

I was the first person to want McCleary to go stoke he is a talented winger and almost single handedly got a draw against norwich

02 May 2013 20:58:56
Jon Walters will look for a move to Celtic for the chance of champions league football. A fee believed of £5 million will take the striker to Celtic. Celtic have also shown an interest in Irish midfielder Glenn Whelan for a Fee of £3 million. He is seen as a replacement for Victor Wanayama

Wanyama isn't leaving and Walter's isn't worth 3 million never mind 5 overrated epl player's yet again!

02 May 2013 20:17:31
wba are front runners for the signing of onyekachi apam though everton and more recently sunderland are interested. the 26yr old is currently playing in france for rennes

02 May 2013 20:50:15
West brom are the latest team to show an interest in Stoke City Forward Jon Walter. Cardiff and Celtic have shown interest already and the striker is looking to leave stoke in the summer transfer window. Fee believed to be around £4 million

Hope West Brom don't do this. Would be no where near good enough for our squad. Not the kind of replacement I'd go for for Lukaku.

02 May 2013 20:26:11
Bristol City left back Greg Cunningham set to activate relegation clause and leave for a nominal fee believed to be ~£100k. Several Championship sides have shown an interest in the former Man City player.

100k???

Greg Cunningham will almost certainly be sold, but I have heard nothing of any realease clauses, and he is likely to cost more than the £500k City paid for him.

I believe he is stone cold under contract for next year, with an option of a third year if everyones happy.

You would have to pay more than 100k!

Greg has 3 more years on his contract

02 May 2013 19:13:47
Rene Howe has agreed a 2 year contract with plymouth argyle,
from someone high up at both tufc and pafc
DevonGreen (Yeovil) (neutral)

03 May 2013 10:38:41
He has'nt agreed anything yet but would like to see some sort of decent goalscorer at Plymouth

Would be great if we could get a prolific goal scorer like Howe. Would also like to see Reid here next season#COYG

02 May 2013 19:06:00
Mk dons are keeping tabs on two youngsters that have turned down new contracts and will be available on a free transfer this summer-

Sam Williams- Dagenham- the young striker has played a crucial part in helping Dagenham avoid relegation this season

Kadell Daniel- Crystal Palace- the starlet who made it through the ranks at palace but the full back/ midfielder, 18, is yet to make a first team appearance for the championship side.

02 May 2013 19:35:50
Stoke looking to raid Birmingham in the summer, the brum have said they will keep Redmond but Stoke look to test their resolve with a double swoop for Nathan Redmond and Curtis Davies in a deal worth to be around 7m

02 May 2013 19:11:10
Notts county will sign Mansfields Lindon Meikle in the summer

Please no! Used to play with him at Eastwood Town, he's arrogant and thinks he's better than he actually is. Very lazy in training too

02 May 2013 18:59:05
Queen of the South's hot shotstriker Nicky Clark has interest from Rangers, Derby County, Sheffield United, Carlisle and Shrewsbury.
Source: Scottish Express.

Attraction of each club
Rangers: Has great history
Derby: Has the championship
Sheffield united: Have more money than Carlisle and Shrewsbury
Carlisle: Its only a 25 minute drive from where live now, and is a popular club around with the Scottish
Shrewsbury: I can't think of any

Attraction of Shrewsbury: great club, great manager, great modern stadium, great facilities, great owner, big ambition of championship football.

Shrewsbury have Graham Turner,. a good manager with a young side and good setbup. Any decent striker will get a lot of game time

We need one or two new strikers so wouldn't mind him

I also think Carlisle have the youngest squad average age of 22. 8 as things stand, 8 of which have came through the academy.

02 May 2013 18:53:40
Mansfield's out of contract striker Matt Green has been so far in talks with several league 1 clubs including Crawley, Preston, Rotherham and Shrewsbury.
So far a deal is no where near to be done at either clubs as he wants to see if an offer from a bigger club comes available.

He's going to have a very long wait!
Not good enough for league1.

03 May 2013 10:08:34
Green cannot compete at league one level perhaps league 2 but there is a huge diffrent in talent from league 2 to league 1

03 May 2013 12:49:43
Beckford to hold talks with crawley

He struggled in league 2

04 May 2013 12:09:32
No truth in this whatsoever

04 May 2013 16:03:40
Crawley close to deal with jermain beckford

05 May 2013 11:14:39
Crawley to sign jermaine beckford they are having trouble agreeing wadges but could sign the striker as he wants to move near his girl friend who lives in brighton

02 May 2013 18:47:41
***To be confirmed tomorrow***
Shrewsbury Town sign forward Matt Smith as he turns down a new deal at Oldham to sign a 2 year deal with Shrewsbury.

When did shrewsbury get a russian millionaire. he's heavily linked to signing for bolton

Why would he go to a place just a few places above us in the league? this isn't progress at all

We don't want him anyway

02 May 2013 18:43:36
Franco Abbott, cousin of Pawel, is set to join up with the Tranmere squad for pre-season training.

Tranmere are also looking at his brother Russ.

06 May 2013 09:30:44
What an atmosphere Tranmere would have at prenton park if he joined!

02 May 2013 18:38:08
Portsmouth next signing will be Edgar Davids as player/assistant manager.

Davids has said that he wants to see what his situation with Barnet is and that he is willing to stay if Barnet want

Really really do hope this will happen be a great assistant and player come on play up Pompey

02 May 2013 18:34:20
Sligo rovers striker anthony elding is attracting interest from 2 rival teams in Ireland they are thought to be Limerick fc and shamrock rovers.

The player is in a rich vain of form for Sligo scoring 10 goals in 10 games in the aitricity premire league and 1 in the cup, giving him a total of 11 in all competition to date, making him the top goals scorer in the league.

Sligo are in the hat for champions league qualifying rounds in 2 months and are in the same pot as Celtic. So can't imagine the player want a move away until end of season.

02 May 2013 18:30:28
Tranmere ins:

Paul Black (Free to Hartlepool)

Players already at club aren't ins

Fin Williams to doncaster #champions!

02 May 2013 18:28:38
Southend Manager Phil Brown will follow up his interest in former Leyton Orient midfielder Jimmy Smith by offering him a two year contract.

Brown is also believed to be interested in taking Burnley winger George Porter on loan, Porter is yet to make an impact at Turf Moor and would welcome a move South.

Other players believed to be interesting Brown are Conor Hourihane (Plymouth) Ryan Dickinson (Southampton) and Joel Grant (Wycombe).

Hourihane is captain at Plymouth and while we are not guaranteed to go up next season it looks reasonably likely. I can't see him leaving. fan favorite too, his work rate is immense

Hourihane is staying.

Would that be Ryan Dickson? Just have him, just take him off our hands!

Ryan Dickinson? Brilliant. There is a lovely old chap at St Mary's who genuinely thinks that's his name. Makes me laugh every time.

If a higher division club comes up with an offer that suits the player, then he will go. Its a fact of life in football. Show me a poor agent!

Yes, his contract is up so he could be signed for free! makes it more likely, I would love him to sign for argyle! #coyg

03 May 2013 20:48:46
is this George porter who plays and is signing for Colchester i'm afraid he is out of your league literally scrimpers

Joel grant is staying at wycombe or moving to a bigger club like ipswich

Grant has been talking to Orient Manager.

02 May 2013 18:22:24
Barnsley fc to sign Leigh Griffiths at the end of the season if they stay in the championship

I want to dream too

Well done the Reds! Congratulations to the players and the manager! Now, Directors when are you going to give David Flitcroft at least a two year contract? Have the Directors realised had they got rid of Keith Hill in October, then the Reds might have been challenging for a play-off place. Please Directors, give the manager a good contract. If anything, you are a guilty of inertia. Please show you know something about football!

A tremendous performance Barnsley. I hope next season will be less fraught than this season. The last two hours have put years on me. I do hope the people in charge at Barnsley will act accordingly and award the manager a good contract. He deserves some recognition, for what has been a brilliant four months. Well done Barnsley.

02 May 2013 18:21:23
Leon's Johan Gourcuff is set to agree to join Fulham on a 2 year deal, the whites also want his team m8 Bafetembi Gomis.

Sorry schoolboy spelling error *Lyon not Leon

If that's true that will b a great signing and if we get Bafetimbi its hound b great.

02 May 2013 18:19:21
Cisse is unhappy at NUFC & wants out, Fuham very very keen on the Senegalese striker who ( if he joins FFC) would be closer to good pal Demba Ba who is at CFC.
I oersonally rate the lad & want him to stay but some fans still haven't taken to him, if/when he goes Pardew will try for Carroll again if we stay up.

02 May 2013 18:00:32
Watford are after bakary sako. according to a wolves fan

Good player, but is a bit injury prone.

Yeah he is a very good player Watford mad an offer a few months back but it was rejected, he is a top class player maybe a bit too good for us to sign?

Hope so, he's been the only positive from a terrible wolves season

03 May 2013 13:53:26
I would expect a host of championship clubs will be after his signature, including those coming down from the prem.

To old to be signed by a pozzo club.

Only just 25. yeah that's ancient.

^ Don't be ridiculous he's only 25. They just signed Cassetti last Summer and he's ancient.

^ He was free whereas, Sako would cost us a few million.

With Wolves relegated a host of clubs will be in for Sako. Watford are just one of them!

Sako is going to fulham

Too good for Watford or any other chump team. Better off staying at Wolves, we'll be back in the Prem in 2 years if we appoint the right manager - Owen Coyle

02 May 2013 17:57:00
Lescott to join West Ham from Man city! Mr agent.

No everton.

02 May 2013 17:56:08
Plymouth Argyle are looking into the transfer of Wycombe wanderers top scorer this season Joel Grant to give an injection of pace and skill to their side this coming season as Sheridan looks to dramatically improve the attacking potential of Plymouth. The rumored offer is set to be around £70'000

I have heard this before, hope that it will happen! he would be a great signing

So you think Plymouth Argyle, a club that has just come out of administration not long ago which cannot afford to spend beyond their means, are going to pay £70k for Grant?

Argyle can't afford 7k let alone 70k

Funny thing is if you want to at least make the rumour appear true, you'd realise Joel is out of contract and therefore you wouldn't need to pay £70k. But he's staying at Wycombe.

Plymouth argyle are spending so much money on a new grandstand and other plans around the area, so clearly they have money. oh and they came out of admin 2 years ago.

02 May 2013 17:50:48
Oxford United have released 12 players today, and are already talking to 3 replacements.

Rene Howe
Matt Richards
Lee Molyneux

Would be 3 brilliant signings, but can't see it happening personally!

02 May 2013 17:42:30
Luke McCormick is set to make his return to Plymouth Argyle after he was released by Oxford today. He is down at Home Park currently discussing a potential contract with Brent & Sheridan

Never going to happen after Argyle won family club of the year, he would ruin their reputation

Looks like it will happen. unsure as to how I feel about this as he has served his sentence but two children killed!!
Having said that he is a brillant keeper and we need competition

He's currently discussing a contract as we speak! reported by the herald

It is happening he's in talks with club tv one news in brief mate

03 May 2013 15:25:34
Luke McCormick to make Plymouth return?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22398328

I think you may just be putting too much value on the title family club of the year, rather than actual titles.

DC

02 May 2013 17:40:34
having entered administration, aldershot will have to look to move on their best players, chief among which is peter vincenti who is rumored with many league two teams such as Plymouth Argyle, Torquay United, Bristol Rovers and Accrington

02 May 2013 17:36:35
Rotherham ins and outs:

Ins:
Margin Morgan - Shrewsbury
Tommy Lee - Chesterfield
Bob Harris - Blackpool
Jacques Maghoma - Burton
Jamie Vardy - Leicester (loan)
Marlon Pack - Cheltenham

Outs:
Kayode Odejayi - Mansfield
Micky Hunt - Accrington
Ian Sharps - Burton
Danny Schoefield - Contract paid up
Alec Denton, Andy Warrington and Dale Tonge - Released

We will sign a wide players but no more centre midfielders we already have something like 6 so! Would love us to sign Harris and vardy!

Rotherham don't have the money to afford Tommy Lee. Not going to happen

There's a lot of rumours about Tommy Lee but I can't see him moving on. He signed a new deal earlier in the season despite it being fairly obvious that Chesterfield weren't going to be promoted.

Rotherham can't afford Tommy Lee

Tommy Lee has 5 interested clubs in championship and one lower prem club. 850k plus add ones and sell on. Well beyond Rotherham United FC.

I think we could. UTM

Unless leister pay varnys wages rotherham can't pay them

We would take your money Rotherham but you simply can't afford Lee he's staying where he is unless someone comes with the best part of a million and you simply haven't got a snowballs

02 May 2013 17:16:00
Mk dons are set to sign Conference top scorer Matt Green, 26, from mansfield in the summer for free.

If he went it wouldn't be a free transfer

If a fee is involved then we won't be.

Probably terrible, never heard of him.

I know Matt's brother, Gloss Green. Handy player.

02 May 2013 16:58:36
Derby very close to signing Lee Grant from Burnley.

Source - Lancashire telegraph

But they have frank fielding whose better and younger, so why would they want grant who would not only not want to be second choice but would also be too expensive to have as a number two.

02 May 2013 19:41:17
Because Frank is to be sold in the summer and Grant as improved considerably and has more experience to bring to next seasons promotion chasing team.

Fielding going to B'Ham in exchange for Chris Burke, both being valued at 500k

We won't be chasing promotion because the yanks have no ambition or money it would appear, and secondly the manager isn't good enough, as proved by our abysmal away record season after season.

The DET has repeated the original post today and saying he may sign as early as next week. Clough said the number of players incoming will depend on how many players are outgoing. Suppose it's the same for the most of the championship

Frank and adam are suppose to be going frank in an exchange for chris burke

Fielding for Burke seems a fair offer, Legdzins is more than an able and good replacement and won't want to play bench to Grant, so doubt that rumour about him returning to Pride Park.

More transfer news will come out after the weekend when season ends for most.

OUTS: fielding, deeney, atkins, naylor, bailey, davies, doyle and tyson.

INS: baptiste, forsyth, burke, baldock
and a move for robson-kanu.

02 May 2013 16:55:02
Mk dons are likely to agree a deal very soon for striker stephen elliot following his release by coventry.

As underwhelming a signing as you could get. Heaven help us if he's the best we can do :- (

02 May 2013 16:05:46
Tranmere players coming in

Andy monkhouse
Gareth Roberts
Ryan Lowe
Fon Williams
Andy Robinson
Ian goodison
Jason mooney - last 4 all signing new deals

Out

Bakayogo
Harrison
Kay
Black
Amoo
Mcgurk

02 May 2013 15:35:41
Portsmouth are looking to loan in some of Brightons youth talent. George Barker, Toby Adgestein and Jake Forster-Caskey are the targets

Whats the point their just going to return back to Brighton

Doubtful, as we already have players or have targets lined up for those positions (forwards, wingers).

Forster caskeys good enough for leauge 1

Brighton Fan: George Barker would be an excellent loan signing for Pompey. In the development squad this year his goal tally is in double figures, great vision and excellent movement in the box. Luke Williams our DS manager highly rates him as do I.

I'll second that

I understand that Barnes to Derby is a done deal - Source Various

02 May 2013 15:21:22
Yado Mambo has been released by Charlton, opening the door for a possible move to long time admirers AFC Wimbledon and league one's Shrewsbury Town, both of whom Mambo had loan spells with this season.

Umm yeah. Wimbledon or Shrewsbury. Who fo you pick? League one every day.

Calm down, mambo may not get as many first team opportunities next year for Shrewsbury so we could snatch him

Pure football you go league one for sure, you'd imagine The Shrews could pay more than AFC Wimbledon as well, but Mambo is from London, which could have an impact. How did he fair in his games for Shrewsbury?

Players won't just go based on what league it is its how the club sells itself. And the new management team at Wimbledon are good at that we could get him

02 May 2013 15:20:09
Tranmere Rovers are in talks with Everton over a possible loan signing of Ross Barkley, And Also looking at the possible signing of Jake Cassidy

No chance, barkely was loaned to sheff wed in the champ then played in the prem. so will not now go on loan to league 1. And wolves will need and want to keep cassidy if they go down, which looks likely.

02 May 2013 16:30:13
Gareth Roberts linked with Tranmere as a replacement for Zoumana Bakayogo.

Edgar Davids is wanted as assistant manager by GW. Barnet have been relegated to the non leages and Davids wants to stay in league football.

Then how come he said I want to stay at barnet

02 May 2013 16:23:38
Whelan, etherington, Walters, Edu and palacios are all likely to leave stoke in the summer months

West Brom are keeping an eye on Jon Walters if Stoke decide to move him out

Why would stoke move him out? He's the top scorer and Stoke wouldn't need the money cause of this new TV deal for the premier league

02 May 2013 16:22:35
Jon Walters, Glenn Whelan and Tony Pulis all look set to leave Stoke this summer. Stoke are planning change and are looking to reduce their wage bill within the summer months

02 May 2013 16:21:55
Luton Town's top transfer targets are Jon Nurse and Michael Spillane.

Just linking them with dagenham players is just lazy

02 May 2013 16:18:42
Jon Walters looks set to leave stoke stating he wants to play at a higher level. Celtic and Cardiff are favourites to sign the Ireland International. The Striker is likely to achieve £4-5 million

Higher level to the premier league? {Ed027's Note - & the fact that Cardiff will probably competing with Stoke

He obviously means europe which celtic can offer

Clearly a Cardiff supporter

I'd actually take Walters at Cardiff if we could get him

notts county seem close to signing bradley wright phillips notts have held positive talks and with what kiwomya said after the coventry game its looking more likely he will sign a deal at meadow lane he said ''with bradley he is interested and were not far away financially''

Bradley Wright Phillips is going to Gillingham

Notts fan here. i'd be very happy with bwp but I doubt we could pull it off. most league one clubs are interested maybe a champ club or two willing to take a gamble on him aswel {Ed034's Note - he was part of the swap deal in January for judge. Find that a strange decision not to accept it

No he is not coming gillingham FACT

If you was really a notts fan you would know he wants to sign for us you would also know kiwomya is close mates with ian and btw notts turned down the deal in jan because they couldn't afford him AND danny green

Notts have more chance then gills. he has been in talks with notts for months and ment to be close. although I believe he wil go higher

Notts turned down the deal with Charlton for Judge cash + 2 players (Green & BWP). Green being on LOAN. Notts had a few factors in which they chose to decline the offer:

1) They valued Judge at a higher price
2) They felt Judge was a key part of the squad in the dressing room as well as on the pitch
3) They were in a steady league position at the time, if Notts went up Judge would have signed a new contract
4) paying BWP & Danny Green would've meant they had to offload another player due to FFP.

02 May 2013 14:47:23
West Ham also looking into the availability of Andros townsend from QPR

He's only at loan at QPR from Spurs.

Andros Townsend is a Tottenham player, not QPR

Doesn't really fit the west ham mould does he?

Clarkey saint

Marvin Sordell set to move to Huddersfield Town in the window.

Sordell won't move to town

Are having a laugh its never going to happen

02 May 2013 22:00:51
If bradford don't go up naiki wells coming to huddersfield

After last nights result doubt Bradford will be going up.

Nahki wells is a good player but his he good enough for championship football because I saw him against burton and I thought that he didn't put himself about enough but that's only my opinion

Please please forget nakhi wells, he would be a big step backwards, nowhere near good enough.

Dont need mr wells, alright for bradford, get more experiance there.

02 May 2013 14:39:44
West ham considering taking Park Ji-sung from QPR in the summer to bolster the midfield. QPr are expected to want to trade players and the likes of Matt taylor or O'Brien could be used as a trade

02 May 2013 17:00:44
. as long as qpr pay about two thirds of his wages

02 May 2013 14:03:08
Gillingham interested in signing Oxford Utd midfielder Alfie Potter for their league 1 campaign.

Although he's just triggered a new contract so they would have to pay a fee which makes it unlikely

I really hope not, he's quick yes but I don't feel he can make it in League one

Never going to happen in a million years. Stump up 300k perhaps!

Gillingham will have a large budget for next season, but Alfie Potter will not be joining us. Bigger names on the radar! We are going to be competing for a second promotion!

03 May 2013 15:46:09
Been linked to bigger and better clubs than Gillingham.
Can't see him leaving us at mo. If has another good season, can see him going up the leagues next summer.
Doubt MA would want Potter anyway. He's not 6 ft tall, and can't head it! The ball would be going over his head for 90mins every week.

02 May 2013 14:31:10
Day after day seem to read the same old people being listed but just repeated rumours not anything substantial. These are true ongoing negotiations at present:

1) Cloughie wants Craig Forsyth to replace Roberst at left back. Forsyth will command a small fee, the block being Zola may wish to keep him to supplement the Watford squad if they get into the premiership and Forsyth is currently training ahead of weekend games with a view to making the play-offs. A fee of around £150,000 being mooted to take him pre-season.

2) Cloughie going for Chris Burke, (predominantly right side midfield / winger), a fee had been agreed with Burke by Forest (Alex McLeish's time), £700,000 I believe but despite fee agreed, florist chairman pulled plug on deal. Burke in last year of contract and may go in summer for as little as £500,000 as Lee plans summer clear-out.

3) Derby not in any 'talks' with Baptiste, despite meeting with his agent but will make definite contract offer when season ends. Cloughie no 1 defensive target! Palace also after Baptiste confirmed.

4) Chris Martin. Cloughie will not be pursuing him and has turned to other more capable frontmen. Brighton bad doy Ashley Barnes latest name at top of list.

4) {Ed034's Note - forest did not agree fee for Burke, Birmingham were asking silly money for him.

Note to Ed. Birmingham were not asking/commanding a silly fee for Burke, they were pushing for his genuine value of 1/1.5m simples. {Ed034's Note - they obviously weren't as several clubs made bids and all were turned down. if they were pushing for his genuine value, why did no cub agree??? oh and please don't rite simples, you sound like an idiot

I think he meant george boyd cause they agreed a fee for him {Ed034's Note - they did and it was pulled because Peterborough refused to send over details on his sight problem. this is something that the posh owner decided not to tell the media at the time, but has now been confirmed by the forest owner and various national daily papers

A small point, the club have a 2 year option on the player, so (if it's activated) he is not nearing end of his contract.

02 May 2013 15:20:06
With regards number 4 - todays DET says we are edging closer to signing Chris Martin from Norwich

Forsyth will leave. We barely used him this season in the Championship, you think he would get anywhere near our Premierleague team?

You will get him, now as you said stop repeating the same rumour.

Barnes won't go to derby

Your Premier League team? How's that going for you?

Norwich are refusing to give up on signing Gary Hooper from Celtic in Scotland. The Norfolk based club are likely to go straight in with a £6million offer at the start of the window. His contract has one more year left and the Canaries are determined to bring him in for less than what Celtic wanted back in January.

Not worth 6 million at all, perhaps 5 in the inflated january transfer but celtic have missed out on that. and especially with just 1 year on his contract (while he is also refusing to sign a new one. )
if norwich pay any more than 3m straight cash, I will be heavily disappointed.

02 May 2013 12:59:26
Edgar Davids is wanted by Guy Whittingham to become is Assistant Manager. Davids, Whom was relegated with Barney as player/coach does not fancy playing/managing non-league football next season.

02 May 2013 12:48:16
free agent Ritchie Jones to Shrewsbury

According to a web site we are tracking former chelsea young star Islam feruz

No thanks, not good enough for league 1

02 May 2013 12:45:33
Liverpool have targeted Ashley Williams, Winston Reid and Ryan Shawcross to replace soon-to-be sky pundit Jamie Carragher. It's also rumoured that Skrtel wants a return to Zenit St Petersburg, therefor signing a centre half would be a must for the reds.

Shawcross my choice. Just give Kelly a chance

02 May 2013 12:41:03
Norwich City looking to sign Danny Simpson as a possible replacement for Russell Martin who is attracting interest from Cardiff and West Ham.

I'm sorry but Russell Martin has been at the club through the the successful times and has the club at heart. He will not be leaving any time soon

Especially to either West Ham or Cardiff

02 May 2013 12:28:27
Glasgow Rangers to sign Richard Foster from Bristol City on a free transfer.

Richard Foster will be available for a free transfer if he has another year to run or not.

The fans have turned on him big time.

02 May 2013 12:22:00
The two main transfers on top of RVW will be Wilfried Bony for £9.5mill and Keisuke Honda for free but a 50k wage. These 3 players will add to the solid defence Norwich have and will make Norwich into a top 10 club and possible look for a European place.

Honda will not be free, he is contracted until January.

02 May 2013 15:28:30
Bony and Honda will more than likely join clubs who will be in Champs/Euro League competition next season. Also rumour has it other clubs may try and hijack the RVW deal as its not as 'watertight' as Norwich seem to think

To deluded of the crunchers, lol, both Bony and Honda will go top 8, not champioship side

03 May 2013 08:55:53
The deal for RVW CANNOT be hijacked. It is all signed and agreed and money has been paid to Sporting. McNally the CEO has stated this numerous times.

Bony And Honda are just rumours but RVW has already signed on the dotted line, he is our player now so their is no way that any other clubs can try to highjack the deal. your talking utter rubbish!

Norwich have already payed for rvw, and it has been confirmed to be watertight.

"To deluded of the crunchers, lol, both Bony and Honda will go top 8, not champioship side"
cute that an Ipswich fan would be looking at the norwich transfer sections.
not looked at ipswich's section once.

who're you planning to get on loan next season.

Pompey set to sign free agent Julian Kelly from Notts County. Pompey also interested in recently released Shrewsbury midfielder Matt Richards.

Club Insider

Sheringham has already been released so he's without a club atm

Ben Reeves is to highly rated to leave and will not come to us permantly, he is above league 2 level, he has a better footballing brain than all our players

Dont think that they'll get charlie sheringham because he's play ing 4 dartford and they will get him under contract sooner than later

Im a bury fan and I think that they will sign belford because I were speaking 2 him be 4 the game agenst Yeovil and he seemed not quite himself

02 May 2013 13:47:49
Swansea are said to be interested in the following players:

Inigo Lopez - Grenada
Gabriel Agbonlahor - Aston Villa
Paul Robinson - Blackburn
Billy Sharp - Southampton (Currently On Loan At Nottingham Forest)
Bilel Mohsni - Southend United
Jermaine Beckford - Leicester City (Currently On Loan At Huddersfield Town)
Scott McDonald - Middlesbrough FC

Set to be leaving The Liberty Stadium:

Michel Vorm - Real Madrid
Mark Gower - Charlton - Permanent
Darnel Situ - Crystal Palace
Rory Donnelly - MK Dons (Season Long Loan for 2013/14 Season)
Nathan Dyer - Sunderland AFC

A

Sharp a risky one. Saints decided he wasn't adequate to use in the prem so a big call for Swansea to think he is.

All not true

Vorm to madrid lol he ain't that good

Hope your wrong about Dyer. He knows he's valued with us. Jacks are always happy to see him in a game, especially when he's on fire - amazing player, just his finishing can let him down sometimes!

What a load of nonsense

Beckford has class, but lazy and gets injured when he wants. A big risk for anyone unless you have deep pockets and a great physio. Town fan

02 May 2013 19:09:42
Why would dyer go to a club flirting with relegation

Scott McDonald would be rubbish in the prem he's only scored 13 goals this season and he's on 30000k a week

Having said that I won't put you off, you're very welcome to him

Please please please take Beckford

Crystal palace failed there promotion push and it all started with that defeat at brighton thanks for that bha

Not a single one true

Forgive me if i'm wrong bit hasny sharp already agreed a deal to sign for notts forest

03 May 2013 09:03:35
Actually, I heard all of these from someone I know who works at the club. - Swansea Obviously

Try saying they're not true now.

A

What doesn't make sense is a brief look at the players you have listed.

Sharp, 27, Striker, hardly prolific but handy at BELOW PL level! Is he on a free?

Mohsni, 25, Defender, just been released from a mid table LEAGUE 2 club due to his extremely poor disciplinary record and attitude (left a game early and jumped on a train to go home one column reports). What good will he be to us?

Beckford, 29, Striker, Done ok for Everton years ago but hasn't played PL since and is only average for his championship loan club, although has a good discipline record - again, is he on a free?

McDonald, 29, Striker, the better of the strikers already mentioned but never tested at PL level. Good assist record - possibly a good fit for us but how much is he worth at 29 and has he passed his prime?

They're the four that make me think, hmm, really, are these good signings for a progressive club?

The others I can buy into; Agbonlahor is dangerous when switched on and would be a nice addition.
Robinson is an extremely experienced keeper at PL level, but, has he lost his touch (haven't seen him play in quite some time) and is he better than Tremmel (if Vorm leaves that is!), can he do the job for us in other words?
Lopez would be a good signing too, experienced defender and FREE!

But the other four, just don't make sense (with the slight exception of McDonald and a HUGE no way to Mohsni).

Mohsni is a brilliant player, championship standard at least. You just need a manger that can control his passion.

They can have Beckford for free - He's lazy with an appalling attitude

Would love Agbonlahor!
I feel he's so underrated as this season he has a conversion record of a goal every 4. 57 shots which is better than RVP's of 4. 88 shots!

Doubt Villa would sell Agbonlahor though!

My point proven today about Agbonlahor being underrated! Fantastic performance by him today!

02 May 2013 13:41:25
The rumour that won't go away - Zomora to sign for Brighton this season looks more likely then ever. However West Ham are also interested.

Zomora famously stated that he wanted to retire at Brighton, but he also has a lot of love for the hammers

He likes Brighton more than west ham

02 May 2013 17:04:30
Well he's knackered for 10 months at least - needs an op on his hip

He's a west ham fan?

Zamora last played for Albion 10 years ago. Openly says he doesn't love football - more likely to see out contract with QPR as it will be his last! Brighton have moved on - I guess from the way you spelled his name you never saw him play for Brighton! There is no way that Zamora will be back - at best you might see him play at Amex next season - but even that is not guaranteed as we're going up! Source - Various

02 May 2013 13:41:49
Tom Bradshaw will be sent out on loan to a league 2 club, suspected to be Cheltenham.

02 May 2013 12:32:30
Ipswich are front runners to sign St Mirren winger Kenny Mclean. The 21 year old has been in good form this season and has caught the eye of manager Mick McCarthy and he is looking to add the young scottsman to his squad.

That's history my friend, was in the dailys last week.

03 May 2013 16:16:22
Ipswich are organising pre-season friendly with St Mirren. could be part of the deal for Kenny Mclean.

02 May 2013 12:32:16
West Brom are considering a move for Charlie Austin who has 1 year left on his current contract

02 May 2013 12:32:07
Doncaster Rovers are in talks with phil Neville over managers job

This is true. Heard it on a web site earlier. Apparently he is going to assist next season with a view of taking the reigns the following season

I know that's why they've given Flynn a 2 week contract to wait and till premier league finishes then they can get phil Neville

Can't help bu think we need experience for next season?

Would love to see this

02 May 2013 12:24:40
Ipswich manager, Mick McCarthy is looking to tie up permanent deals for current on-loan players: Tabb, Stearman and Daryl Murphy.

The former Wolves man is also tracking the situation with Brentfords Harry Forrester and Crewe skipper Luke Murphy.

Tabby should come home now! You beeeeeeesss!

02 May 2013 12:08:40
Watford are interested in signing Alan Judge on a free transfer from Notts County.

Blackburn are the favourites to sign him

Alan judge is irish not italian haha not likely

02 May 2013 17:31:24
I think that statement sums it up! Who'd want to sign for Blackburn? (at the moment)

No not good enough now would of liked to of seen him at watford before but a shame he would never get in the team nowadays

We have three Italian players, grow up please, bitterness and jealousy are not becoming of you

I think Ipswich town will get him. With Kiwomya as manager could give hints to move there being an ex player. I also like the look of ipswich feel they may have a chance at the play offs next season.

Ipswich done deal lads

03 May 2013 13:56:24
Actually - With McCarthy at Ipswich, I think it would be a great move for him.

(Irish) Watford Fan

02 May 2013 10:21:09

02 May 2013 09:42:57
Bristol Rovers have entered talks with local rivals Bristol City regarding the availability of midfielder Neil Kilkenny. Former Leeds man Kilkenny, is out of contract at the end of the season and is thought to want to stay within the Bristol area. The 27-year-old is thought to be keen on a move to the Gas, to pair up with close friend Matt Harrold.

02 May 2013 12:29:29
Kilkenny is not out of contract

02 May 2013 16:40:55
Utter tosh from the sags,
Killa is certainly NOT OOC and his wages would probably use up their budget in one go.
As one of our higher earners, he wil probably be available but no way is he headed for BS7.

Kilkenny is not friends with Matt Harrold.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Killkenny go, but I will let the whole Real Madrid side sleep with my girlfriend if he moves to the Gas.

He will most likely stay in the Championship.

Kilkenny and Harrold are very close friends. I can confirm from various sources close to both clubs that this is infact true and we will probably see Kilkenny in blue and white next season.

KILKENNY is on 10 k a week and far from worth it! I doubt rovers could afford a 5/th of his weekly wages and why drop down a league to a at best mid table team when city will be for sure up there challenging for promotion next year! love to get rid of him though just not to them!

Bristoi City fans huh, Rovers a mid table side and City going straight back up - We'll see! - why would we sign Kilkenny and be honest why would he want to from from CCC to league 2 - remember we don't pay stupid wages like City that's why we aren't 40 plus Million in debt - City are in for a rude awakening, they'll be lucky to finish in the top 10!. bring on the mass exodous.

You couldn't sign KILKENNY never mind why would we want him! and yeh watch the mass exodus and i'm glad of the chance of getting rid of the dead wood! as for 40 million in debt our debt is to our billionaire owner not to the any bank! he has stated many times he's happy to bankroll city! I wonder how much you lot owe the bank hmmm! a lot more than us I bet! and what was your finishing position this season in the bottom tier of english football? no more than mid season and you will do no better next season because you have a chairman with no money and a board with no ambition ha! ONE TEAM IN BRISTOL BCFC!

02 May 2013 09:38:32
If Port Vale lose left back Dan Jones then manager Micky Adams will target experienced defender Gareth Roberts. Adams wants to push on next year and add some much needed experience to the squad, Adams is also targetting midfielder Matt Sparrow.

02 May 2013 16:21:39
Daniel Jones will be going to either Preston or Gillingham.

Why would he go there? At a bigger club now

02 May 2013 09:38:31
Bristol Rovers are thought to be interested in Burton winger Jacques Maghoma. The 25 year old midfielder from Congo DR, is priced at around £50,000 which is well within The Pirates transfer budget.

Heard this for the last 2-3 years. Not sure there's any truth

Is robbie weir really leaving burton albion? A lot of talk going about, that he is wanted by Crawley town, Coventry city, Glasgow rangers? Would be a big lost to burton if he goes.

02 May 2013 09:29:23
kevin doyle to celtic 5million

5million for him. celtic will need players capable of playing in champions league not league 1

What when he's on a free transfer of end season yeah nice one pal

Nice try Kevin but we don't want/need you at Celtic we're looking to move forward not backwards

02 May 2013 16:53:22
step down from league football to pub football if he does move.

02 May 2013 23:08:06
To Hull if they get promoted

02 May 2013 09:16:32
Port Vale are to offer terms to out of contract players Aland Judge- Notts County Jean Yves Mvoto- Oldham and Matt Richards- Shrewsbury

Alan Judge is joining a championship club.

02 May 2013 10:46:29
Port Vale can offer Judge a contract but he won't accept it. The reason he didn't sign a new contract with Notts County is because he wants to play at a higher level. He'll join a Championship team, not a team that is yet to establish itself in League One and could be in a relegation battle next season.

MVOTO won;t go to Port Vale. People need to stop thinking our players will go to a team that is league 2 and will be again after 12 months.

Not a chance with Judge he's off to the championship, Ipswich are front runners.

IF M'voto does leave Oldham it'll be to a Championship team and not to another League 1 team

Time will tell. Vale will be pushing on this season.

That Vale team is targeting staying up. Theu don't have the dough to push on that quick

We will see. Vale are loaded now. We signed Hughes off you so why not judge aswell.

Hughes was no longer wanted by Curle, that's why you signed him. Judge wants to play in the championship

Believe that if you want. Spoke to Hughes after Northampton game and he said he was desperate to get the move to vale so curle reluctantly agreed.

Hughes is just a mercenary, don't expect any loyalty.

02 May 2013 09:15:08
Brian Flynn to be replaced by Paul dickov, no championship experience!

Malky MacKay had no championship experience before Watford, Gianfranco Zola, Owen Coyle, Lee Clark, Chris Powell, Dougie Freedman, Brian McDermott - none of those had Championship experience before getting their first chance to manage in the Championship and all have done ok. Roy Keane, Paul Jewell, Shaun O'Driscoll, Neil Warnock, David Jones, Tony Mowbray have all had experience of championship management and all have disapointed this season.

02 May 2013 09:09:59
Once Coventry City come out of Administration they will sign Aaron Martin (Southampton), Jean-Yves Mvoto (Oldham), Jacques Maghoma (Burton), Gareth Evans (Fleetwood), Carlvin Zola (Burton) and Lyle Taylor (Falkirk).

Again MVOTO won;t go to COventry, you don;t even know his personal life like we do at Oldham and he won;t move to Coventry as you can;t even pay rent on time.

If oldham can't keep m'voto it will be to championship or back to france

02 May 2013 08:20:33
oldham athletic are to sign Owain Fon Williams on a free transfer from Tranmere

05 May 2013 12:57:04
could be some truth in this, I would take him aswell, as cisak won't be signing with us

He's rubbish, cisak/bouzy would have been better options

02 May 2013 08:15:47
Bournemouth want Alan Judge and Zoumana Bakayogo on who are both available on a free transfer. Bourenmouth could offer Matt Tubbs as part of a deal for Portsmouth star Jed Wallace.

Jed won't join Bournemouth when he could easily join someone better

Why would we swap tubbs for jed w whoever he is

Tubbs is better

Seen Tubbs, seen Wallace. No comparison! Wallace is light years better and am sure he will go on to play in, at least, the Championship.

We're (AFC Bournemouth) in the Championship.

What you mean tubbs better than Wallace would have him over tubbs anyday

Wallace is quality! He could join a prem team if he waits a season, will at for England withinh 5 years

We're (AFC Bournemouth) in the Championship.? yeah! but how long for lol

02 May 2013 08:02:43
Gareth Roberts leaving. His final game will be against Millwall on Saturday. Can't guarantee him game time. He has been coaching the kids and starts his B licence next week. Derby are looking to bring in Forsyth as his replacement. Good look sir in your new career. Clough even hinted we might see him again down the line. Source today's DET.

He's linked with moving back up to the Wirral to rejoin Tranmere Rovers.

Wouldn't be surprised if he become a coach at derby

Reading in the programe against Tranmere in the cup, I would not be surprised if Roberts rejoins them. Taking his B license next week in Manchester. Really enjoyed coaching the Derby kids.

Lets give him a good last game get behind him and try get clough to give him a year extension

Lets not! Most shocking player in our history post- paul jewell era!

Sorry that is a load of bobbins, may not have been a world beater - he was a steady eddie. Model pro who deserved his ovation on Saturday. Even found time to join in the ovation for Gordon Guthrie. while the game was going on. Left Derby at the right time.

Franco Di Santo to join the Albion after his contract ends at Wigan at the end of the year, Wigan whom look destined for relegation and potential for a dual relegation in the Championship, wants to jump ship before it's too late.

Let's hope you mean Brighton & Hove Albion.

Everton midfielder' John Lundstram has said he wants to join Doncaster Rovers permanently after a successful loan spell.

Wigan are also monitoring

I would seriously doubt he would leave as everton certainly think a lot of him definately one for the future can't see him joining permanently well not right now anyway maybe if he's 21 and not getting a look in then maybe but as for now I don't think so. I would say there is the ever real possibility rage he will go on a month by month loan deal to Doncaster again next season in the championship

Charlie Sheringham will be a Portsmouth FC player for the 2013/2014 campaign. Chalie will join Pompey in July ready for preseason.

If he is quarter of the player his dad was he'll do a decent job in league 2

I only bring truth to the forums.

IN

Florent Cuvelier (loan).
My sources at Stoke tell me that they have struck a deal to see the midfielder go out on a 3 month loan at the start of next season. If he has a successful spell, he is expected to be used as cover for the first team at Stoke.
Cuvelier has also stated that he enjoys living in Stoke on Trent and this is said to be a huge factor in the deal.

Ricardo Gardner (free)
A free agent who has placed himself on a 13 week "get fit quick" scheme to attract attention from clubs.
He is looking for a Midland club and would love a chance to work in League One after 2 years out of the game.

Could be a good squad player for the Vale.

Jon Stead.
(free)
Currently playing his football at Bristol City who are sitting at the bottom of the Championship. Stead has been one of the only stand-out performers, but the owners are looking for a big clear out and want Stead off the wage bill. He may demand quite a bit of money but there's no doubt he can provide the goals to match. Micky Adams is said to be a long term admirer of Stead, since his Blackburn days.

Gary Jones
(1million)

The club captain is said to be disillusioned with life at Bradford and has vowed to move if the club fail to win the play offs. He has stated a certain admiration for the Midlands and Micky Adams has kept tabs on him all season

Do you think he's worth the £1 million asking price though?

What do you think of this transfer news?

I have family on the board and these stories are straight from their mouths.

Peaceful-Spectator-ITK

Not a chance any of these will happen

Stead to Port Vale that has to be a joke.

Will they never learn. Historic problems with administration and financial struggles and suddenly being linked with players on wages that Vale's gates couldn't support. no wonder football clubs keep getting into financial trouble.

Haha, Gary Jones to leave Bradford for a million, since when did you have a million to spend plus he said he's staying at BCAFC no matter what happens and enjoying life at BCAFC

02 May 2013 14:11:44
Gary Jones for 1 million? He'll be 36 for the start of next season!

Gary Jones is out of contract this season, so if he were to leave, it would be on a free. Doubt it though as 1) City are going up and 2) he's already stated his intent to stay whatever the outcome of this season.

Talks from WITHIN Shrewsbury Town football club is that:-
Shrewsbury will offer contracts to centre defender Mark Roberts (Stevenage), centre defender Jean Yves M'voto (Oldham), centre midfielder Jimmy Ryan (Scunthorpe), right winger/left winger Mark Duffy (Scunthorpe), left winger/right winger/ striker (Kaid Mohammed), striker Matt Smith (Oldham), striker Yoan Aguin (Notts County), striker Britt Assombalonga (Watford).
However regarding news about players offered contracts:-
right winger Jon Taylor and centre back/right back Jermain Grandison will however reject the contact offer given to them from Shrewsbury in order to sign for a new team.

What a load of tosh, you have about 5 million pounds worth of talent there bud what are you in the championship lol

If Roberts leaves Stevenage he'll go to a championship team

Doubt Assombalongo is going back to league 2 even if Watford choose to sell.

I can see a loan next year to league 1 or the Championship to further his development.

If you want assombalonga, you're getting him on loan only

Shrewsbury are in league 1 not league 2 so why wouldn't he join us on loan

02 May 2013 11:43:03
Asomobolonga's just signed a new deal at WFC this year, he'll be sent out on loan but definitely not sold

Nothing will be decided on where Assombalonga plays until pre season training begins

Assombalonga isn't going to be sold. Most likely he will get loaned to a League 1 team until January.

Some wish list that!

I would say now that none of the targets above will be in Town colours next season.

Matt smith and m'voto haha dream on. More chance of smith staying at oldham than joining the shrews, champ clubs want him. M'voto is happy at oldham so will stay or he might move back to france if no champ clubs are interested

Preston are looking at released Tranmere duo Michael Kay and Paul Black. Full backs are the priority for Simon Grayson as Scott Laird looks set to move on.

No there not looking at that duo. Full- backs are not a priority for Grayson. Scot Laird is not playing for Preston or anyone else until he gains full fitness after having his leg broken.

Laird indicated he is looking forward to playing at Deepdale next season. (note: not listed for transfer on North Ends retain list) and with possibility of signing Paul Connolly Preston have a full compliment of full backs. Also just give contract to Ben Davies.

And they have the capable Keith Keane and David Buchanan too!

Why would Preston want Paul black? He is awful and his back pass when we played Bournemouth was just poor! Besides you like taking our best players not our worst! Although Kay is decent

02 May 2013 16:22:38
stop wit the scott laird moving laidy as stated he is happy at preston and Grayson will not let him go, Stevenage fans think he is going back there but I have spoken to scott at the pne players awards and he said he is happy at preston and does not want to work under westley again the same was said by joel byrom and moose as for incomings there are a few surprise moves on the cards

Norwich City are determined to complete a deal for Rubin Kazan's 25 year old Israeli international midfielder Bibras Nakho on a free transfer at the end of the season and are willing to offer him a £25k p/w contract.
