Ronaldo but that's looking ever more likely like a dead deal. The number one target though is Kaka. Just heard Bolton and Newcastle are interested in signing Glasgow Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor who over the past few months has become one of the best keepers in Britain. Dennis Wise will have until Christmas at Leeds to ensure Leeds United are in the Top 6 in League One or face the sack. Middlesbrough are set to have a reasonable war-chest for pre-season transfers.
As well as signing Woodgate for £7m from Real Madrid, Don Mackay has reccomended Scott Brown, Steven Whittaker and David Murphy to Gareth Southgate as potential new signings. Murphy (A former Boro youngster) and Mark Proctor (Boro legend, Hibs First Team-Coach) are said to have gave the club a fantastic reference to Whittaker&Brown, who have apparently already held talks with Southgate.
Also linked with the Riverside is Bosingwa - the FC Porto RB/ RM. Porto are apparently not looking to extend his contract, and he'd be free to move to Boro on a Bosman Transfer. In addition, if Mark Shcwarzer leaves the club for the German Bundesliga, Jerzy Dudek is seen by Southgate as the ideal replacement.
If WHU pull off mission impossible and stay up, expect big changes at UP in the summer by Curbs, with the backing of Eggy.

-Scolari is over the moon with this as it means his portuguese players will work together on a regular basis.
-Arsenal look set to raid Sevilla. They will be signing Alves Navas and puerta for a fee of 14million with Ljunberg+Reyes going the other way
-Tottenham are favourites for 9million gareth bale. United, arenal Liverpool Newcastle and Portsmouth also in the running.
-if West Ham are regated, Newcastle will raid their team. Upson, Neill, Ashton, benayoun will go to Newcastle with West Ham gaining only around 17million for their services. Baines will join them for 7mil. Dystin and Sidwell will come in for free. Emre, sibierski and most of the defense will leave.
