In reply to this :

To whoever said that "David Villa would sign for Arsenal next week, FACT" I have some rather different news.

Villa and Valencia have agreed a deal with Barcelona worth 40million Euros and with Bojan Kirkic and Alexander Hleb (currently on loan at Stuttgart) heading in the other direction in a deal that Laporta sees as a perfect fairwell gift before the Presidential elections. The deal will be finalised at the end of the La Liga season. Expect the story to be in Marca on Saturday morning confirming the above.

As a result of the deal, expect Henry to make his way to the MLS or Man City; Ibrahimovic could also see himself excluded with a move to Juve being suggested in some corners or even Man City.

your sources are incorrect i'm afraid, Villa will be signing for AFC, expect the announcement in 7–10 days.

"Celtic are said to be interested in bringing two EPL defenders to the club in time for their pre–season visit to the Emirates. The two in players in question are Sylvinho – who is out of favour at Man City and who Celtic were keen on signing in previous transfer windows – and Mikael Silvestre, who is out of contract at Arsenal this summer. It is thought that Neil Lennon wants to add some much needed experience to the defence to help the younger players develop and to bolster a somewhat frail backline which has cost the team a number of important games this season.

Despite interest from a number of other clubs – including several from the EPL, championship and Serie A – the guarantee of regular first team football and possibility of European football may be enough to lure Silvestre to Parkhead, while Sylvinho has already made his interest in joining the Glasgow club known in recent seasons. The only likely stumbling block in both deals includes the high wages that may be wanted by both players which would limit the possibility of other players coming in."

Liverpool FC. Once the takeover is finalised, rumour has it that Jose Mourinho will be installed as manager, with his first signing to be Tevez. D.I.C are keen to have the special one at the helm, together with one of the most potent pairings in the league.

deco, ballack, belletti.. out. Romelu Lukaku to join for 8–10 mill from Anderlecht, touted as the next Drogba. Chelsea to look at sneijder to fill midfield void left by summer departures. However if Chelsea fail to secure the inter milan midfielder they will obtain the services of yohan gourcuff from bordeux who is keen to hook up with ex manager carlo ancelotti. wait and see

I am not going to let on to anyone who is going to buy Liverpool, or who the new manager is likely to be. But what has happend at man city will be nothing in comparison. A very red red, this is my last post. Enjoy the summer!

Nicky Wroe, Elliott Benyon, Peter Enckelman are also targets for us. I'd be disappointed with Justin coming back, but I do know that Dennis Oli is being looked at and we're also considering taking Charlie Sheringham, son of Teddy, on trial as well.

Thanks again mate. I think this will be an absolutely huge Summer for the club with a lot of players coming and going, so who we bring in will be vitally important. How many of the players you have mentioned do the club wish to sign or do the club want all of them? Some of the names sound good players (Adomah, Sheridan, Wroe, Benyon) but some don't sound so inspiring (Dennis Oli and Justin Richards)!

I don't doubt you mate but are these likely to happen this Summer at the club?

Big bristol rovers news,

One more bit of news – Albert Adomah is coming here for a four–day trial in July. He's very highly rated at Barnet so we want to see if he can step up a level and maybe offer a contract. We're also monitoring Newport 'keeper Glyn Thompson as well.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

Thanks for getting back to me mate.

Is that really true about Albert Adomah? I know he's very highly rated and is a great player – exactly what we need. So I wondered if that was true and whether what you said about Cillian Sheridan being a target was correct as well?

I'd be disappointed with re–signing Justin Richards if that was the case as well. Cheers mate.

No worries, glad to help.

Yes, it's really true about Adomah and I agree he'd be a cracking signing for us. As for Sheridan, he has no future at Celtic (not a bad player, just not quite SPL level) so we're looking at signing him and maybe bringing Josh Thompson in as well.

Nicky Wroe, Elliott Benyon, Peter Enckelman are also targets for us. I'd be disappointed with Justin coming back, but I do know that Dennis Oli is being looked at and we're also considering taking Charlie Sheringham, son of Teddy, on trial as well.

THFC Rumours!

Rumours as always.. nothing but. Not gonna state prices as i don't have access to anything concrete. Names as follows:
Micah Richards
Gary Cahill
Marco Amelia (Not so sure about this one but fit's the bill of what harry normally goes for)
Javi Marquez (Again not so sure)

All know Harry likes to go for players on the cheap.

Jose mourinho will not go anywere this season if inter win the champions league. This is because when he left porto and went to chelsea he aaid he was upset that he didn't stay and play in the super cup and world club challenge so he won't go anywere. I beleive he will stay one more season whethwr he winds the champions league or not and then go to MANU when sir alex retires bevause he will return to the prem and this is the job he want

manu will sign a midfielder this season and a couple of youngsters. They always have a budget of around 30mil so expext a 15–25 Mil midfielder or two 15 mil midfielders with a few youngsters

30 Apr 2010 19:41:22
Celtic news!! craig levein will be named the celtic manager right after the end of the season. this is coming from a levein family member. he will keep lennon on at the tattie dome and implement some of lennons visions for celtics future such as making the club more family orientated by introducing a club creche .

It's all gone strangely quiet regarding the takeover rumours at Birmingham City despite assurances from people on this site that it would happen by the end of this week.

I wondered if anyone had some real Birmingham rumours?

I've heard that they are sniffing around Robbie Keane and the Ryan Babel deal may be back on.

LIVERPOOL TRANSFER NEWS ALL FACT NO OPINION AND LIES AND COMPLETE RUBISH

–firstly, rafa said he needs 5 new players to compete for league at estimated 20mil each. FACT hes not geting that money what does this mean? hes leaving liverpool.

now we look at what and who were selling
Liverpool OUTS:
–benayoun
–Reira
–Babel
–AUrelio
–(kuyt possibly hes 29–30 cash in on him)

this will generate about 42million.

Liverpool INS (already done deals):

– jovanovic (hes utter pathetic and st and 29)
–Van der Vaart ( very good player)
– a south american youngster ( dubbed new messi google it 1milion deposit payed in january)
–shelvy

POSSIBLE LIVERPOOL INS (REALISTIC)
BUDGET about 40million + maybe 15–20mil given to him

– a striker not sure who DEFO NOT AGUERO and unlikely that it will be tevez but no ibrahimovic's or super stars like that

–left back kalorov (over hyped probs flop) most likely opt for bridge or some other english player

– a gerrard replacement in case he goes Javi Martinez

this is it plus a few other decent players

our biggest signing wil not be over 25million and highly unlikely any are even close to 20

Van der Vaart 6mil part of alonso and arbeloa deal

YNWA YOU HEARD IT FROM ME SH3MZ!!

Firstly i wouldn't expect United to sign a lot of big names or go splash 100 million left right and centre.

There is a pot of money especially if the guys Villa rumour had some fact in it.

But United don't need to spend massively. Yes its been a poor United team this season (one of the worst i've seen in 25 years) and Rooney has dragged us along at times, but we've still put in a title challenge down to the wire, won 1 domestic cup (ok underperformed badly in the other yet again) and made it to the quarters of the Champions League, alot of other clubs would regard that as success (especially the neighbours..)

United will bring in what they need, not what fantasists think they need.

That means somepoint in the next 12 months at least 1 keeper maybe 2. (i'm going for Akinfeev on the fee in January and De Gea either this summer or next)

A creative centre midfielder who can also play left wing. (the usual names, and Joe Cole on the free and someone like Milner, Defour, Gourcouff have all been linked.)

Then it all depends on what happens to the Berb, if he stays then no striker in, if he goes then a striker will come in. Personally i'd like to see Fabiano in, would be relatively cheap and could do a decent job for a couple of seasons whilst the younger players evolve and mature. Benzema may or may not be an option it all depends on who Real's next manager is, and what the loon in charge of them (Perez) asks for in exchange.

Expect a lot of the younger players to head out on loan, players like Welbeck, Diouf, Obertan and Fabio all will most likly find themselves at lower level teams.
Probably Foster as well.

Departures: Tosic, maybe Carrick. O and next summer expect to Rodwell at United and maybe (if he isn't signed this summer Milner)

Lastly congrautulations to Fulham and commiserations to Liverpool. Seriously, i mean it, an all English final would have been good.

Bob

Steven gerrard will not be leaving liverpool after this season. A friend has currently been working on a grade 2 listed building not far from southport this week an was told that the buyer is a very private family an everyone on site was told not to tell the press anything if questions where asked. However with searching of the area and a local newspaper where the site tells of a rumour it is 100per cent its gerrard. Gerrard staying at his mums house saying his house is getting a new kitchen is a smoke screen as they don't want people to find the location of their new home

Right! My uncle is on the coaching staff at Liverpool, and I have waited months before I posted. Becuase I needed to see just how out of hand things would get. Here it is, the truth! Raga is on his way to juve fact! Stevie and Nando both love Liverpool, and are staying fact! There is a clear out, that will happen in the summer fact! A new owner and manager coming in the very near future but will not say as want my uncle to keep his job! So stop speculating and stirring. Good times are on there way. Oh yes! A very red red.

West Ham co Chairman David Sullivan has met with a number of potential replacements for under pressure Gianfranco Zola. I do NOT know if his co director David Gold was also present but I can confirm that within the last 2 weeks Sullivan has met with Gary Megson and Lawrie Sanchez.

I can't imagine Hammers fans being too impressed if either of these end up with the job.

From one of the best football journalists in the north–west and specifically the Manchester area:

Manchester United had a £40m offer on the table for David Villa, but due to the 50% tax on earnings over £150,000 in this country, he wanted more money. His wage demands were too high for the club, and the deal is therefore off.

Told not to expect any big–name signings over the summer at OT.

Have a mate who's knows Southampton striker Lee Barnard – after scoring 9 in 14 starts since his Jan transfer and 24 in total so far this season, apparently Hull, Wigan and West Ham are all interested in the 25 year old – The Hammers could be favourites to sign the ex–Spurs man as he's originally an essex lad.

I can tell you that Stoke will be changing quite a few things with their squad this summer. This is because of the dressing room bust ups in recent weeks and Tony Pulis wants address this for next season as he fears it will affect his sides progress. Therefore, the players who have a bad influence on the team will be sold to add to the trasfer budget of £15 million already promised by the chairman.

Players out: Sorenson, Davies, Griffin, Higginbotham, Pugh, Tonge, Soares, Beattie and Kitson.

Tony Pulis will also listen to offers for the following players: Whelan, Lawrence, Diao, Amdy Faye, Tuncay and Sidibe.

Players in: James, Wheater, Belhadj, Bullard, Ledley, O'Hara, Gary O'Neill, Plus 2 strikers, maybe 3 if either Tuncay or Sidibe leave.

30 Apr 2010 16:03:27
I would like to see Kjaer join Liverpool; never mind these big name players that they have been linked with on this website.

He is a really good defender. One signing and Liverpool would have a solid defence – if he was partnered with fellow Danish international Daniel Agger in the centre.

Basically, i would be more excited about him coming to Liverpool than Benzema or Tevez etc etc.

As for rumours, i have head that Sunderland are going to bid Carlton Cole.

Does anybody have any genuine leicester city transfer rumours? ins & outs.

30 Apr 2010 15:58:52
After yesterday's disappointing result against Athletico, Rafa Benitez is considering his position at Liverpool, he has grown disillusioned at the current state of the club, not spoken with the new chairman, lack of funds last summer and no idea of budget this summer. He is attracted by Juventus' interest but knows that there could we be roles at Real Madrid, Inter, AC Milan and Manchester City this summer offered to him. Liverpool have drawn up a list of candidates to replace Benitez should he leave – Roy Hodgson, Martin O'Neill, Michel of Getafe, Unai Emery of Valencia, Juande Ramos, Jurgen Klinsmann and Cesare Prandelli of Fiorentina.
Liverpool have already agreed deals for Milan Jovanovic and Jonjo Shelvey, and the board are looking at available Bosman signings – Hamit Altintop and Kevin Kuranyi.
Manchester City are prepared to spend big, whether in Champions League or not, the board have drawn up a list of marquee players to sign regardless of who is manager. Kaka, Sergio Aguero, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Samuel Eto'o are a few names on that list. Barcelona are prepared to sell Ibramimovic to fund the transfer of David Villa for over 40m euros. Barca also a looking for a new left back – with Patrice Evra, Gael Clichy and Ashley Cole in their thoughts, Real Madrid are also looking at the trio. Franck Ribery will sign for Real Madrid for 35m euros and Rafael Van Der Vaart. Karim Benzema will be offered to clubs at 30m, with Milan and Man Utd interested. Chelsea want either Alexandre Pato or Sergio Aguero, and looking to add Marek Hamsik to their squad. Tottenham will offload Robbie Keane, and bring in Eidur Gudjohnsen permanently, Gareth Bale and Luka Modric will not be sold. The whole Portsmouth squad is up for sale.

Re: The Bristol Rovers Fan

Just seen the news on the back of the Evening Post, and I agree that it does not look too good for us but the A word (admin.) is not going to happen.

We will have to 'cut the cloth accordingly' and that does mean that players like Andy Williams, David Pipe and Danny Coles will have to be sold on. Already, Coventry, Ipswich, Leeds and Southampton have enquired about Andy whilst Doncaster and Crystal Palace have enquired about Danny.

In the short–mid term we will have to gird our loins, there might be the possibility of an investment/takeover but this may not happen until the 2010–11 season has started.

I'm not saying this would ever happen but i would like to see some ins and outs at Stoke.
Outs
Lawrence, Soares, Tonge, Griffin, Kitson, Beattie.
Moult, Marshall& Lunt all on loan.
I feel like lawrence hasn't been the player he was at the end of last season, Kitson is always too verbal about what he likes and dislikes, wouldn't suprise me if he was the leak in the media. And Beattie is getting older now, did a great job last season, wouldn't have stayed up without him but we should cut the losses and let him go before his age makes him unmarketable.

Ins
Love to see a proven goal scorer from the prem..Robbie Keane, but i doubt we have the pulling power to land that kind of deal.
O'hara
Scott Parker
Dorrans
Young rb.move huth into centre with shawcross and make faye push for a place
Ledley
Gary o'neil
David Wheater

These are players i'd like at stoke, i don't think they are too far fetched but i would like to hear what others have to say.
In Pulis We Trust!

I would just like to point out that people must be sick of the rubbish some people post on this site.

For example: Major Developments at Liverpool, Hicks and Gillett have dropped their asking price from £750 to £450m, due to lack of interest at the old price. Major stumbling block at present is the level of debt on the club – £237m. Many of the interested parties are put off by this amount of debt, and want it cleared in any deal struck. At present interested parties are Mukesh Ambani, Subrata Roy, and Consortium's from China, UAE and USA. This issue will not be settled any time soon, so Rafa will have limited funds, no more than £10m and whatever is made on sales.

Who put this crap on?? How on earth do you know the major stumbling block? Are you in meeting with the Liverpool chairman and officials?? More chance I am a millionaire then you being in with the Liverpool board.

The whole negotiating are taking place well behind closed doors so there are no leaks.. This means the price bounced around by the papers that Hicks & Gillet have put the club up for (800Mill) are no more than someone's guess? One that come from an interview were Hicks suggested in that he hopes to make x amount of profit from the sale of LFC. Other than that it is all speculation.

Now I am not trying to take away the fun of the site and it's great to bounce around possible new developments but defining why a club is yet to sell when you have no idea is just pure Bull Sht.

Rafa is he staying or going??

That is the question and again no one really knows.
He may wish to stay!
He might Stay but if a new owner comes in and wants to stamp his authority on how he wants the club run, and who he wants to manage the team the Rafa can plead all he wants there will be nothing he can do.

Given the uncertainty around the club and the possible new owners whether this is a month from now? Six Months or a year!

Can anyone really blame him for lining up another possible job? "No"

I would prefer that he left as long as either Jose or MON could be installed as the new manager but that's just my opinion.

I also think a lot of Chelsea and Man Utd fans are kidding themselves.

UTD have very little or no money to spend so without sales they won't be signing big.

Roman wants Cheski to run without his help meaning that the wage bill needs cutting and no big spends come the summer.

The only big spenders this summer will be Man City but because they won't get the 4th spot they will again fail to attract the big name star..

West ham to sign drenthe 4mil 30k a week wages, also to sign will be o'hara 5mil 25k a week wages, macheda loan from manu, belletti from chelsea 2 mil 25k a week wages 2year deal, and a left back traore from arsenal 2.5mil 10k a week wages, also if wenger can be convinced wilshire wants to go to westham on loan as its his boyhood club. The biggest move however will be the signing of a centre back, one from three choices carvalho chelsea 6mil 45k a week wages, gallas 1mil 60k a week wages, or dawson who wants regualar football 7mil+dyer 40k a week wages. Players leaving to be ilan, franco, mido, daprela hines andsears and nouble(4 loans), boa morte, da costa.

30 Apr 2010 13:52:47
I've got some excellent news on Rafa's transfer plans if he stays at LFC and funds are available.

James Milner is his no.1 target, so he play left midfield and fill in in the middle sometimes.

Carlos Tevez might be bid for.

Jovanovic deal already in the bag.

Fabio Aurelio will be offered new contract.

Reira will be sold.

Babel might be sold for extra funds are needed.

Cruzante will be brought over from south america as reserve right back.

El Zhar, Plessis, Degen will be sold.

I know all this because an old schoolfriend works in the administration dept at lfc. I shouldnt say his name as he'll be in trouble so i'll call him 'Boris' here. 'Boris' was doing some filing when Carra and Gerrard were having a chit chat.

More news when i get it!

30 Apr 2010 13:54:23
Can everybody get real about LFC at the moment signing superstars! First of all we are in sht street financially, secondly we haven't got CL football to offer prospective players and finally we will be unlikely to challenge for anything next season. All of this talk of signing £20m plus players it is a world cup year meaning all transfer targets who appear will multiply in value. Realistic targets are: Vicente (Valencia), Van Der Vaart (Real Madrid), Kjaer (Palermo) & Podolski (Koln)

Leeds have offered contracts to 3 championship players source: Grayson's Thursday press conference

the 3 players are Nick Montgomery and Derek Geary from Sheff Utd and Daniel Bogdanovic from Barnsley

all 3 will sign IF Leeds get promoted

Leeds also looking at extending Sanchez Watt loan deal and signing Wojciech Szczesny on loan, both from Arsenal

30 Apr 2010 13:28:06
Norwich boss Paul Lambert looks set to begin work on strengthening his squad for next year's season in the Championship. Gary Doherty and Darel Russell are both to be offered new deals. Talks are under way to secure Forster on loan for next season with Newcastle supposedly interested in doing a deal provided a clause exists to allow recall in the event of a long term injury to Harper and Krul. Norwich would prefer a deal without such a clause. City are reportedly interested in Charlton's Nicky Bailey as well and are preparing a bid should they fail to gain promotion through the play offs.

30 Apr 2010 13:13:15
MANCHESTER UTD

The midfield will be a bit of a merry–go round this summer, firstly Michael Carrickmy good mate is friends with an indie band from the Newcastle area, who in turn are good mates with Carrick (he wore one of their t–shirts at a press conference when he signed for United). They've told my mate, who has told me, that Carrick will definitely be leaving OT this summer. If a deal doesn't come together for Modric or Milner (both of which would see approx. £16m and Carrick go the other way) then SAF will turn his attentions to making three solid MF signings and selling Carrick for around £10m. Tosic will likely be sold, and Hargreaves will likely be a bit–part player at best next season, if at all. In will come:
Stevan Defour (£14million plus de Laet on loan, Standard Liege)
Gojko Kacar (£8million, Hertha Berlin)
Sotiris Ninis (£8million, Panathinaikos)

I geniunly doubt that friends of a chairman or manager would be on this site, debating rumours or being unloyal to their friend so blatentlly clear for people to see so alot of the rumours i am disregarding, i work for a production team who edit the transfers on a computer game, we like to input the dead certainties first before the window opens and for example liverpool's usually are carragher and reina and gerrard and torres and dirk kuyt. this year we were relaibly informed dirk kuyt has agreed a fee of 14 million pounds to Juventus. and if you notices benayouns reaction to his goal last night, he may feel that is the last time he will score for liverpool and has agreed a 3.5 million deal to newcastle united

With Albert Riera, Yossi Benayoun, Phillip Degen, Diego Cavalieri, Fabio Aurelio leaving raising £15–25m, Benitez will have a budget of around £30m. Rafa wants Adam Federici or Keiran Westwood to replace Cavalieri each costing £2–3m. Milan Jovanovic is signed to replace Benayoun, Stephen Darby and Martin Kelly will be promoted to replace Degen, Aleksander Kolarov will replace Aurelio for £11m.

In other news, Jose Mourinho will be Real Madrid Manager next season.
Real Madrid will bid £45m for Steven Gerrard, and bid for Patrice Evra
Inter will offer their Manager's role to Rafa Benitez
David Villa will join Barcelona for £35m plus Alex Hleb, with Bojan on loan
David Silva will join Real Madrid for £25m and Rafa Van Der Vaart
Chelsea will sign Sergio Aguero for £40m

With Wolves' recent confirmation of Premiership status, Steve Morgan has big plans for the future of the club.

1st off new signings, Adlene Guedioura will sign permanently. McCarthy will also look to take advantage of some of the good players from the relegated clubs.

Tyrone Mears – RB– £1.5m
Danny Fox – LB– £1.5m – to replace George Elokobi
Stephen Hunt – LM– £3.5m – replacing Surman (who will be loaned out)
Steven Fletcher – CF– £4.5m – replacing Maierhofer and Keogh
Chris Eagles – L/RM – £3.5m

As well as these players, McCarthy wants to bid for
Jamie O'Hara – Loan or a £4.5m offer
Robbie Keane – £7.5m offer
Aruna Dindane – £2.5m
Federic Piquionne – £2.5m
Nicky Maynard – £3m
Gylfi Sigurdsson – £2m
Adam Lallana – £2m
Michael Mancienne – Loan

Leaving the club will be:
George Elokobi, Andrew Surman (Loan), Sam Vokes (Loan), Andy Keogh, Stefan Maierhofer, Greg Haldford, Segundo Castillo, Chris Iwelumo, Matt Hill, Nenad Milijas, plus more

Most interesting developments surround Molineux, Steve Morgan has been purchasing buildings/land in the surrounding area in recent months with a view to expanding Molineux's capacity to 40,000!

Good to see a couple of the tips I posted last time have broken in National papers (Berbatov to Bayern, Redknapp having big funds this summer) Also amused to see some on here passing off my original Robbie Keane to Newcastle tip as their own. Anyway, heres some more stuff genuinely likely to happen. First off is WBA and Wigan both fancying Palaces scoring midfielder Darren Ambrose to strengthen them next season. Di Matteo also reputedly fancies taking Merida from AFC but that's more likely onloan. Next up is Spurs likely to sign Palaces impressive keeper Speroni as cover for Gomes. Now to clear up some of the speculation that's been on here. Micah Richards to Spurs has legs, Corluka has often looked the weak link in an otherwisee impressive Spurs defence this season and against Manure BAE showed he is no rightback. Richards also ticks boxes as he can ably play as a CB which given Spurs injury probs there is a big plus. He is also the sort of player Harry works well with, a talented player whose career has stalled a bit. Bale to MUFC a nonstarter, Fergie is more than happy with Evra and Spurs don't need the cash. Also getting a bit overly talked up is Modric to Manure. While it looks a goer at first glance it has many things going against it. Firstly it would be difficult politically for both clubs, Spurs fans are never happy to see their best talent (Sheringham, Carrick, Berbatov) being sold to MUFC and Levy knows it would be hard to justify given the clubs strong financial position. Its would also be a hard sell for Ferguson as he knows Spurs would squeeze the absolute maximum fee for him like they did with Berbatov and look how that's panned out. Also, on a more basic level, can you see Spurs qualifying for CL and then selling their key midfield playmaker? Didnt think so. Next up, expext one of either Crouch/Pav on his way out in the summer with Crouch surprisingly more likely to go. Stephen Ireland is also likely to go with Villa a possible destination. Bellamy to Spurs not happening, its pure paper talk but expect Santa Cruz to go to Athletico if as expected Aguerro leaves in the summer.

A VERBAL AGREEMENT HAS BEEN REACHED BETWEEN BARCA AND VALENCIA FOR DAVID VILLA (40m EURO'S), THEREFORE RUMOURS ABOUT TORRES GOING TO BARCA WILL STOP BUT RUMOURS OF A 50m MOVE TO CITY WILL CONTINUE! ALSO REAL MADRID HAVE TURNED THEIR ATTENTION TO TEVEZ KNOWING THAT ROONEY IS A NON STARTER FOR THEM, TEVEZ IS CERTAIN TO GO TO REAL MADRID WITH IBRAHIMOVIC LEAVING BARCA FOR CITY!

IT IS NO SECRET MANCINI WANTS TORRES AND IBRAHIMOVICH AS HIS FRONT TWO! AC MILAN WILL BID 20 MILLION FOR ADEBAYOR! HUNTELAAR WILL BE BID FOR BY SPURS!

ALSO NEVILLE HAS SIGNED A NEW UNITED DEAL SO PLEASE NO MORE RUMOURS OF SCHOLES GOING TO PRESTON OR NEVILLE RETIRING! VDS, GIGGS, NEVILLE ANS SCHOLES WILL ALL BE AT UNITED NEXT SEASON!

30 Apr 2010 12:01:15
Liverpool
Torres
He dosent want to go.he knows its just one bad season and he is a good loyal player. If he does decide to leave it will not be for less that 80 million as he has great commercial value and the club see him as a important figure. He will only go to Barca or one of the Italian clubs as he loves Liverpool and will not play of City of Chelseas out of respect for the fans and the club. The incomming funds at Liverpool would be enoung to bring in one of Aguero, Villa, Huguain, Tevez or Pato so Liverpool will not suffer that big a loss. But again i will state..he dosent want to go and will not push for a exit.
Gerrard
Im not going to lie, hes going to consider any offers that come in, but nothing less than 30–35million pounds. The most likely buyers are Madrid and Inter so it could get intresting, I have heard that Real may be willing to offer Kaka in a straight swap and Inter are willing to offer Sniejder plus Cash. The swaps are not sure to happen as the club have there own replacments in mind. they might accept a cash offer and bring in one of Hamsik, Milner, Ireland, Silva or Modric. Then again he might be convinced to stay with 2 or 3 big name signings this summer to show some real ambition.

Both these names will most probably stay, but i have stated clearly that it will not be the end of Liverpool if they decide to go. We will simply Walk on!
New owners, Manager, funds, new players will all be factors in this so we have to wait and see.

30 Apr 2010 11:56:27
I am the guy who said Arsene Wenger has not made any approach for any centre back due to not knowing the future of his 3 senior centre backs Gallas, Campbell and Silvestre. on the club wesite Wenger confirmed this.
I also said Wenger has already has a verbal agreement with Toulouse for the purchase of goalkeeper Yohann Pele. this will be confirmed once the transfer market has opened and personal terms with the player himself have been agreed. you should all stop wasting your time thinking Arsenal will purchase a high profile goalkeeper. when has he ever?? a reminder that this isn't my predictions or opinions, but instead leaked information. I deliver facts, not fiction.
I also said there has been discussions with the club and agents of the following players: Scott Parker, Shaun Wright–Phillips, Jack Rodwell and Balotelli. some of the discussions are in regard to the player himself showing an interest in playing for Arsenal, the other discussions are in fact Arsenal showing an interest in signing the player and making contact. I am not saying all or any will actually sign. I'm saying there has been discussions.

Wozza!!

To the person who said this:

"(Liverpool) formation for next year

Reina
johnson/ayala/agger/kolorov
maxi/gerrard/mascherano/milner
Tevez/Torres or Ibrahimovic/Aguero/Higuain."

Been reading this site for a number of years now, and your drivel has prompted me to post for the first time. Other than the FACT's that Liverpool have limited funds, uncertainty regarding the managers future, and are facing the real possibility of no Champions league – why on earth would these players even consider leaving their respective clubs for Liverpool?

Onto rumours – saw Aguero and Forlan coming out of Anfield last night, both looked very happy (especially Forlan) – could there be a dream move on the cards? Idiot..

Norwich City Football Club rumours.

Paul Lambert has his ideas of who, from the current squad, will not cut it in the Championship next season.
He has been given permission by the board to sell or release who he sees fit in the summer. The first to leave will be Jamie Cureton who's contract will not be renewed, his most likely destination looks to be Shrewsbury.
Also released will be club veteran Paul McVeigh, who will most probably return in a coaching role at some point. Rhoys Wiggins will be off to B'mouth on a free.
Other outs will include;
Matt Gill (Exeter)
Owain Tudor–Jones (Yeovil)
And Michael Rose and Stephen Elliots loans will not be made permenant.

These paired with the money the board have promised Lambert will make for a healthy transfer kitty.
He will first try to nap Geordie keeper Fraser Forster off Newcastle for another season after he impressed at Carrow Road. If this can't happen he will look at either Ben Alnwick of spurs or a bid for P'boro's Joe Lewis.
Also on Lamberts wish list are:
George Boyd (P'boro)
Tommy Rowe (P'boro)
Nicky Baily (Charlton)
Chris Dagnall (Rochdale)
Adam Le Fondre (Rotheram)
Albert Adomah (Barnet)

Why do people come on here and just obviously make things up, NO ONE and i mean NO ONE knows what will happen at Liverpool Football Club!! unless you are a member of the board or the present owners or the new owner. I hear things and in the past put it on here but i always state its only a rumour or something i heard. We have people come on here make something up then believe it themselves to be gospel.
Come on guys lets keep it real or as close as we can.

Oh thought id let you know i saw Teves, Villa, Messi and a tall bloke who walked just like a left winger sipping drinking chocolate in a motorway service station late at night, I know this means nothing but when i tell you i also saw a people carrier with.wait for ita Liverpool scarfe on the back seat. Make of this what you will but i know what i think.
Oh and this is Gospel honest Guv.

Pawel Abbott (Notts County) £250k
Chris Taylor (Cardiff City) £600k

Stockport News:

Gary Ablett will quit, regardless of the outcome of the proposed takeover.

He's been offered a position with Southport as well as a youth role with Liverpool.

30 Apr 2010 09:55:42
Rafa has been informed that it is highly unlikely that a takeover will happen in time for him to get the funds he wants this summer. The current owners will not release large funds just before they are due to sell. Rafa has been told can use the funds in what has been referred to as the 'players account', approximately 8m Euros, plus the revenue from sales. However, he is very restricted when negotiating deals as the Americans will not sanction large 4 year deals as they have a negative impact on the balance sheets. Contacts close to Rafa believe he will leave for Juve and that defeat against Atletico Madrid will signal the start of discussions about his exit.

30 Apr 2010 09:45:45
Various roughly infered quotes from Arsene Wenger:
we will sign a player before June 11.
If Gallas leaves, we will sign a defender
Djourou looks good in training
Chamakh has a good chance of joining us.
We will sign 2–3 players max
we won't sign a player after the world up unless he is unexpected that nobody foresaw.
I have to sit down with Campbell and Silvestre
Senderos' contract will not be renewed
I have faith in Eduardo. It takes time to recover from such a bad injury.
from this we can gather:
CHamakh is coming in for sure. Senderos is off.
the figure of 2–3 players(inc Chamakh) may increase if Silvestre leaves too. Campbell will most likely give another yr. Eduardo will not be sold. He may however, be sent on loan.
Djourou will get his chance, all expected transfer dealings will be concluded before the WC.
So aside from Chamakh, a potential 3 more players will come in.
These will be a GK(obvious), CB(even more obvious) and another player(not so obvious).
I won't speculate on which GK he will sign, but i will give a list of those being considered: Stekelenberg, Adler, Neuer, Frey and Romero.
At CB, no.1 target is Subotic, but Dortmund have reportedly slapped a tag of 20m. however i think 16m will do the trick. other options are Zapata, Sakho and Hangeland. Dont expect Richards or Cahill.
other names have been thrown in the hat: Hazard, Nzonzi, Wilson, vdWiel. any of these are viable. many arsenal fans are of the opinion that we need cover for Song. Nzonzi would be available for about 7m. hazard is a long term target of Wenger, he won't want to see him go to Madrid. vdWiel is unlikely given Sagna and Eboue will stay. Wilson is a possibliity, but not if he already expects first team football, which he has been getting at B'burn.
I believe the following players will leave: Almunia, Silvestre, Senderos, Gallas, Traore, Merida, Eduardo(L), Vela(L) and some youngsters. as such there will be a gaping hole in CB, filled by Subotic and the promotion of Nordtveit. Attack will lose potency, rejuvenated by Chamakh. GK will lose all experience, supplemented by one of the above listed GKs. these are the three certainties. I would love for AW to bid for Nzonzi and Hazard, but both coming in is unlikely. The only possibility is if Hazard is signed and loaned back to Lille for a season.

Signings: GK(8m), Subotic(16m), Nzonzi(7m), Chamakh(free). plus Hazard(14m loaned back to Lille for 1 season).
out: Gallas Silvestre Senderos Merida(free), Traore(4), Simpson(4), Randall(1), Amunia(4).
LOANS: Galindo, Wilshere, Mannone, Watt
SQUAD for next season:
NEWGK, Szczesny Fabianski
Clichy Gibbs Botelho Eboue Sagna Vermaelen SUBOTIC Djourou Campbell Nordtveit
Song NZONZI Denilson Eastmond Fabregas Diaby Rosicky Ramsey
Nasri Walcott Arshavin Wellington Silva, Lansbury
vPersie CHAMAKH Bendtner Sunu

season after: Campbell, Fabianski Rosicky out, Hazard, Savic in.

BREAKING NEWS – Marca (the official Real Madrid publication) today confirmed that and agreement between Valencia and BARCELONA has been reached for David Villa. Surely they wouldn't speculate this about their biggest rival if it wasn't true?

To the chap that said "wake up and smell 7th place " the whole reason your saying that is cos liverpool arnt normally in this position unlike yourselves(city). Infact that would be good for you, how was playing in the 1st division by the way?, you still have a stadium that's never full, you havnt won anything with all this money yet and your worldwide fan base doesn't exist , ok so you may get into the champions league but whats the point when youll go out first round.it takes more than money to make a big club, like history and trophies but you wouldn't know alot about that would you, as a liverpool fan at least i can respect ourselves, MAN U , ARSENAL and SPURS who have become what they are by building up a winning team over the years.Anyway on to a very possible deal, adriano on season long loan to liverpool with view to buy, expect this to be announced in next few weeks win/win situation as it won't cost alot(takeover won't affect this loan).

Big bristol rovers news, rovers will have too go into administration and will have too sell most of the main stream players, even the ground may have too be sold!

Can confirm this is not true.

The club is in good health, and despite the set backs in redeveloping the ground, the club is not in danger of going under and the club is confident of getting into the play–offs next season.

The club won't be over–spending and will look to loans from Premiership and Championship clubs as well as cheap buys from League Two and Non–League. The core of the squad will stay, but it is hoped that we can sign the following players in the summer:

Justin Richards (Cheltenham)
Charlie Griffin (Stevenage)
Peter Enckelman (Cardiff – loan)
Cillian Sheridan (Celtic)
Corry Evans (Manchester United – loan)
Robbie Threlfall (Liverpool – FREE)
Michail Antonio (Reading)
Nicky Wroe (Torquay)
Elliott Benyon (Torquay)
Saul Deeney (Derby)

How true is this mate? I thought we'd be back in for Heffernan and Jones?

Hi mate, I am good friends with a senior employee at the club who deals with Lennie Lawrence on a weekly basis.

The above players are all earmarked – as for Heffernan we are interested but he's no longer a top priority (Notts. County have put in a bid for him already) and as for Jones it's possible but we are also exploring other options too.

One more bit of news – Albert Adomah is coming here for a four–day trial in July. He's very highly rated at Barnet so we want to see if he can step up a level and maybe offer a contract. We're also monitoring Newport 'keeper Glyn Thompson as well.

Cardiff City are closing in on a deal to sign Simon Church from Reading.

Also on the Bluebirds wish–list are:

Kasper Schmeichel, Darren Barr, Ross Forbes, Lewis Stevenson, Craig Mackail–Smith, Nicky Butt, Brett Pitman, Rune Jarstein and Rhys Murphy (on loan from Arsenal)

Wolves have been linked with a lot of players in the past couple of weeks, Andre Bikey (Burnley), Tommy Smith (Pompy), Aruna Dindane (Pompy), Rickie Lambert (Saints), Chris Eagles (Burnley, Kamil Zayate (Hull City), Fredric Piquionne (Pompy) and Robbie Keane (Spurs)

Players must leave
Stefan Marierhofer 1.8
Greg Halford 1.9
Segundo Castillo
Geoffry Munjangi Bia
Andy Keogh 2.1?

Spurs Ins:

Richards
Gudjohnsen
Lassana Diarra(possible swap with Palacios involved)
Nigel Reo Coker

Also been hearing a possible deal for Modric to Manchester united and Carrick could be involved. I think it'd be in Spurs best interest to ask for Anderson. I think he'd fit in really well at Tottenham and their style of play suits him better.

Spurs Outs:

Hutton
O'Hara
Palacios(swap with Lassana Diarra involved)
Corluka
Jenas
Bentley
Pavlyuchenko
Assou–Ekotto(heard something about him going to France to play)

I'd like to see Harry give Giovanni Dos Santos a real run in the side. Think he's a tremendous talent and could show a lot if given the opportunity.

Today's Celtic newspaper rumours:

Lee Wallace – Celtic are reportedly willing to pay up to 4 million for his services so long as Hearts are happy taking the cash over 2 years.

Sean St. Ledger – failed bid in January but he's apparently keen to join the club, particularly if Neil Lennon or Trappetoni are managing next season.

Gary Hooper – Neil Lennon is said to have been tracking his progress in recent weeks with a view to a 2 million bid in the summer.

Mikael Silvestre – Celtic are reportedly keen on adding some much needed strength and experience at the back given his contract is up at Arsenal in the summer but 4 other clubs from the EPL and Championship are also said to be interested.

Mario Balotelli – His poor relationship with Mourinho could see him making a loan move to Celtic in time for champions league qualifying while West Ham, Liverpool and a number of Serie A clubs are also interested in securing his services.

Danny Wilson – Personally I think this is complete nonsense (aside from being a Rangers player the EPL is a more likely destination), but he and his family are Celtic daft and he supposedly is going to take advantage of his contract being up to join his boyhood heroes (again, lololol).

Stephen Ireland – Celtic are lining up a bid to take the out of favour Man City midfielder out on loan.

I live opposite steven gerrard, (victoria rd, formby)and the rumour about his house being up for sale for 3.5m is a load of rubbish!
yes he is in the vincent hotel in southport, and there are plenty of rumours going around but his house isn't for sale.

isn't his house empty, 'cause they've got the builders in ?
Alex Curran has been quoted today, saying, "they are 100% committed to their marriage. they're at his mothers and she's cooking great food for them ALL !"

make of it what you will

jman

there is a lot more to this rumor than is currently know, alex has kicked him out after it came out that he is sleeping with an 18y/o and may have got her up the duff, from what is coming out locally its though that someone may have sold this story to a national tabloid, but due the the bad press the papers recieved regarding breaking the terry story before the wc, its felt there is a 'gentlemans' agreement to wait until after the wc to let the story out. just looking at gerrard play recently there is a lot up with his game and this rumor could explain it. now this is the local gossip, all stemming from him living in the vincent, alone, at the moment, and to those who would like to object to that, then your more than welcome to sit outside it everyday, as he is now a common site being picked up and dropped of, as well as sitting in the residents bar (right of reception, not the one that overlooks lords street that's to the left of reception)

My best friends dads brother who spoke to his 2nd cousin twice removed says these LFC rumors are funny as hell!

I AGREE.. wake up and smell 7th place!

Tevez to stay at city theres no chance he will be leaving, mancini said that today to look as if hes in control but really he hasnt any on this one!

Tevez is a cert to leave during the summer with Juventus, AC Milan, Real Madrid and believe it or not Liverpool battling it out for his signature, Mancini has today gone public about there back room bust up and said if Tevez is unhappy he can leave.

30 Apr 2010 01:34:48
Liverpool is looking to become the atttraction for much of the argentine talent. Tevez and Higuain are looking very likely, as i think a 4–4–2 would suit them nicely. Torres leaving is looking like a very big possibilit, sorry to say that. BUT, he will only go to barca. if he does leave, then Liverpool will try to bring in another talented forward, probabley aguero or ibrahimovic. however, barca will have to bid about 70–80 million to get him. Left mid is looking like Milner, or Mata.
formation for next year

Tevez/Torres or Ibrahimovic/Aguero/Higuain.

To the guy who said this: A lot of the Arsenal transfer rumours are rubbish. Here is a realistic picture of what Arsenal will do in the offseason. This is based on connexions I have with journalists and club execs.

IN
Marouane Chamakh Free
Eden Hazard 16 mln
Steven N'Zonzi 4 mln
Phillipe Mexes 8 mln
Brede Hangeland 8 mln
Manuel Neuer 10 mln

OUT
Eduardo 7 mln (to Lyon)
Vela 3 mln (to Atletico Madrid)
Merida FREE
Denilson 4 mln (to Birmingham)
Gallas 3 mln (to Paris Saint Germain)
Silvestre FREE
Almunia 3 mln Atletico Bilbao

Seriously why are people so dumb, yes you were believable before you said that gallas was leaving for 3M, when everyone in the whole world knows that he is a Free Agent in the summer and Arsenal can't get any money for him!

Arsenal 10/11 Squad:
GK: Neuer/Almunia/Swchesny?
RB: Sagna/Eboue
CB: Vaemaerlan/Gallas/Mexes/Subotic/Campbell
LB: Clichy/Gibbs/Bolthelo
CDM: Song/nZonzi/Eastmond/
CM: Fabregas/Diaby/Ramsey/Nasri/Denilson
RW: Walcott/Wilshere
LW: Arshavin/Hazard
ST: V.Persie/Chamahk/Bendtner/Vela/Watt

If Arshavin is sold to Barca then Wenger will use the money to buy David Silva from Valencia.

Selling/Releasing: Senderos/Silvestre/Fabianski/Rosicky/Eduardo/Traore

Arsenal to win the PL & CL !!
