Jimmy Walker is going to sign for colchester on an 18 month deal next week, a fee of 50 grand has been agreed.

Bowyer is off to Southampton, Quashie will make his loan permanent.

Davenport is being made available for around 1 million,

GZ is hoping that Faubert will attract bids in the region of 4 million.

There is an outside chance that Carlton Cole will leave in the window, west ham gave him a new deal recently to remove a release clause in his old contract, Spurs, Boro and Wigan are interested in Cole. West Ham value him at around 5 million.
  Arsenal News

Wenger has come out and said that he is after a creative midfielder and another midfielder, both experienced. Arshavin's name is continually being banded about but don't expect this to happen for 2 reasons. Firstly Wenger won't spend £20 million on him and also he won't fit into the side once cesc is back as Ade and RVP are his 1st choice pairing. It may happen as a loan deal but unlikely. Appiah may come to the emirates as he is on a free, experienced and eligible for the champions league. Dont expect Toure to leave either as its possible Yaya could be on his way to Arsenal too.

I'd personally love Wenger to bid for Ribery but doubt it will happen. Would also like either Diego from Bremen and Frings. Senna would also be a class signing but the fee will probably scare Wenger as he is now 31. N'zogbia and Given are possible signings but unsure Steven Taylor will move. Giovinco from Juve could also be a loan signing.

To those doubting the current squad and Wengers judgement at the moment need to wake up. Denilson, Song and Diaby are all good players that are only going to get better and Wenger knows what he is doing. They are all good squad players and do a job when called upon on.

Gooners = champions league final 09
"I don't need to announce a name," The Guardian reports Wenger grinning to French television channel Canal Plus earlier, "because when you do that there is 50% less chance of making the signing. But I need a creative midfielder and eventually another midfielder, because we are short."

a new creative player coming to arsenal?

lots of reports about arshavin but im not sure.

and Also wants experience, yes experience
"The transfer window opens [on Thursday] and, although we are not close to signing anyone at the moment, if we do buy I think what we need is maybe someone with a bit of experience," Wenger wrote.

that was in his match notes before tthe pompy game
Rafa will strentgh up the right side with the signings of

Glen Johnson–RB
Lennon/lafita–RW

babel will get a loan move

rafa will also try to sign either HESKEY or ZIGIC. he wants a striker who can hold the ball with his strentgh and play as a target man for long balls.

out going players are pennant, voronin and itandje
I'm a youth coach at Leicester City.
I have it on good authority that Leicester midfielder Andy King is on the verge of a £800,000 move to West Ham during the January transfer window. The only delay in the transfer is that as part of the deal, Leicester will be recieving Lee Bowyer in a player plus cash deal. The Leicester board are not willing to meet his high wage demands. If he doesn't accept the proposed wages offered by Leicester, which are around 40% less than he is currently being paid at West Ham, then the deal may be called off.

If all goes according to plan, then expect to hear this news within a matter of days into the transfer window.
Who ever said that everton would buy
james harper for 2m
seb larrson for 1m
adriano for 4.5m
you are in dreamland because the real value of these people are
james harper 8m
sebastion larrson 10m
and adriano 20.5m

now for real transfers that will take place
man city – Villa 35m (valencia on verge bankrupty)
Silva 12m (same reason)
Senna 12m – Villereal
Buffon 50m – Juventus done deal
Bellamy 10m – West Ham
To all the Toffees thinkin your gonna sign a DM, your wrong. Moyes himself has said that young Dan Gosling would have played many more games had he not been injured. He's deffo one for the future and you have plenty of cover for him within the squad (i.e. Pienaar and Neville) Also heard a Rumour that Wenger may allow Bendtnar to go out on loan to Everton for 3 months as Eduardo is soon back, and he wants to blood in C.Vela. Makes sense for all concerned as Bendtnar would be perfect for Everton right now and I don't think Arsenal are risking much, I think they'l beat Villa to fourth. Plus If they strike the right notes, both Vela and Eduardo are superior player to Nic. Finally if Bendtnar does well, it'l only serve to push his price higher, I don't really think it'd drop much should he not do well. PS I only heard this on a forum but the guys usually right. –v1–esque
Man City will deffo be going in for Diego Lopez of Villareal, Antonio Lopez of Atletico, Maxi Rodriguez of Atletico, Senna of Villareal, Simao of Atletico, S.Cruz of Blackburn, G.Jonhnson of Portsmouth, Hangelaand of Fulham, Moutinho of Sporting and finally a shock bid for Diego Capel of Sevilla. EVERY PLAYER WILL BE BID FOR. Im not saying they will sign them all but bids will definately be lodged. I can see Cruz and Johnson coming for sure, you just don't know with the spanish based lads, but Fulham will fight tooth–and–nail to keep Brede. I guess a guy like Moutinho would be tempted if he saw a few others going there and cash being splashed.

thanks
Massive rumour that has a lot of legs is glen johnson to liverpool. The touted price is £9 million. I think that would be cheap. More likely nearer £12 million as he is a very accomplished player already. Expect a big bid for ribbery in the summer, as big as Torres if not more. The days of multiple transfers are over at liverpool. The talk of aguerro is just that. Even if liverpool win the league they can't afford to compete in the £40 million round region that it would take.
  ARSHAVIN IS HEADING TO ARSENAL!!!
It will be confirmed in the next few days as the deal is near completion. The price is 20 million pounds and will be a huge signing from Arsene Wenger.
January top transfers– InterMilan: Diego Milan: Mexes Barcelona: Silva Real: DiMaria Arsenal: Arshavin Liverpool: Srna Chelsea : Defoe
Portsmouth are rebuilding their team and Tony Adams is letting anyone who does not want to play for Portsmouth leave! Many of their top players are leaving– Defoe to Chelsea, Glen to Liverpool, Distin to Arsenal.
All you Gooners hoping for 4–5 players to be signed in january are going to be disappointed. I can see maybe 2 players or at the absolute maximum 3 players coming in. but its nore likely to be 1 experienced player + 1 future prospect + some kids. The 1 experienced player depends on what position wenger thinks urgently requires solidifying. if its the creative position then expect Arshavin or Elano or Giovinco if the creative position is not important then expect Elia or maybe Babel. If the central midfield position is important Inler or Yaya Youre or Lorik Cana. . if not then Mark Noble or Steven Defour or M'Bia or Matuidi. If the centerback position if important Chiellini or Zapata or Hangeland if not then Senderos to come back or Mayoukolo. As for the kids. . you can expect them to be the worlds best.
  Celtic Fc

Ricardo Fuller of Stoke City is a man Gordon Strachan rates and the bust up at the game against west ham has alerted him and will try to snatch him of Tony Pulis. Another target is James McCarthy of Hamilton and a fee between the two clubs has been met the price is 3m plus future add ons a healthy amount of money for the accies which they could not resist.

Back from holiday, refreshed with rumours from up north:
Carlisle: Strengthening? I certainly expect so, what with the caticlysmic run before the sacking of Jon Ward. To get their season back on track, The Cumbrians will secure Graham Kavanagh on a year long deal. He will obviously favour Brunton Park over a move to Charlton. . hell, im surprised Addicks players still bother training considering their current situation. Also, with interest in Danny Carlton and Gary Madine, Carlisle will be in for a striker, and they have plenty of choices. I'd say Scott Rendell, Danny Crow, Gifton Noel–Williams and Ben Strevens are likely options.
Leeds United: Simon Grayson? Firstly, Ken Bates has once again made a questionable choice of manager. Admittedly, his style of play will be more comparable to O'Leary's than Macca's silly passing ethic. But Batesey knows best, so i'll say no more. Grayson has been given Macca's transfer kitty, which was sizable, at least, by the standard of League 1. Expect moves for chums Gary Taylor–Fletcher, Ben Burgess and Alan Gow, and possibly a bid for Stockport's Carl Baker. Loans for Jason Shackell and Krizstian Németh have not yet been ruled out either. Only rumours, still though, what with Master Bates' privacy issues. As for the inevitable outs, Ian Westlake, Peter Sweeney and maybe even David Prutton could have departed by February, and Trésor Kandol is set to park his keester (sp) in Millwall (cringe)
Sheffield Wednesday: Take over? This rumour seems to have died down recently. Has the consortium just given up on The Owls? Well, I did some sleuthing around Hillsborough, and saw a troupé of Nigerian businessmen loitering in the stands, throwing pennies at Brian Laws, who was in a cage on the touchline. It will not happen, my friends, to be serious for a moment, and it will be loan after loan in January, apart from Bartosz Slusarskí and Lewis Buxton, who will sign.
A Happy New Year from Malcolm Shaffer
Andy Driver Christophe Berra of Heart of midlothian have once again stated they have no interest in a sideways move to either of the old firm .
they will only move to an EPL/Top championship side/major european league side and only if agreed with Hearts.Larry Kingston is to leave as is Mikolinous and Goncalves,Berra likely to stay until summer.

Rangers have signed Lee Wilkie of Dundee United but it is being kept hush hush as Craig Levien the United manager is in talks to take over the managers job if Smith and Mcoist fail to catch celtic by mid February

Hibs are looking for a new manger but at this time are refusing to let Mixu Patelinan resign until there main target is found ,St Miren manager Gus Macpherson is on there list.
Noises coming out of Norwich suggest that Roeder's days are numbered.

This is a real surprise as previously the board had wanted to give him as much time as possible (one reason being the cost of sacking him, but not necessarily the main one).

The board appear to have finally got fed up with his arrogant posturing and inability to get results from a squad that is costing well over budget to maintain. The board wanted a manager who can get the best from a tiny budget and make the whole much greater than the parts.

The primary fear of members of the board is that a drop to Division 1 (now seen to be a likely outcome of this season if results do not improve) will make their investment practically (if not totally) worthless. They are scared.

Bellamy, Upson, Parker and Green are going nowhere!
If Man City are so rich why the hell would they want Bellamy!? shows how ambitious Mark Hughes is! Also if the rumours I've heard are right they sould sign Santa Cruz or Defoe so why do they need Bellamy? Either Hughes is unambitious or its just lazy journalism! Same for Upson and Parker!!! And as for Green if he went to Tottenham or Arsenal would actually get in the team!? NO!!!

My Mates brother is staying in the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai for christmas, he said he spotted Frank Rijkaard having dinner last night with a bunch of Arabs, he asked a member of staff who they were and was informed they were associates of the Abu Dhabi Royal Family, Could Mark Hughes be on his way out ?
Aston Villa FC are looking at Defoe, but MON's number 1 target is Sturidge from Man City. MON like's young hungry English talent and see's him as a future world superstar. With Man City looking to buy at least 1 new striker in Jan, a move could be in the players interest.

  EDINBURGH NEWS

Amazingly, the 'Riccarton Three' will all return to Hearts, possibly as early as this transfer window. Craig Gordon will return to Hearts along with one million pounds for Larry Kingston and Christophe Berra. Paul Hartly will return in a swap deal fo Bruon Aguair, who's contract ends this season, and Pressley will be broght back to replace Berra, as he is a free agent.

At Hibs, a managerial chamge could be on the cards if Mixu loses both derby matches, with ex–Hearts boss Jim Jefferies a target. Assuming he stays, he will try to sign Alan Combe (as will Jefferies)along with Aberdeen's Jeffrey de Visscher
and Andy Dorman of St Mirren.
My Dad works with some Ipswich fans who have heard that Alex Bruce is signing for Norwich City as he has been sleeping with another employees wife and they want him out of the club.
  To all deluded rangers fans

Andrei Arshavin are you having a laugh.
Firstly, if he was in anyway available for 8 million, he would be targeted by more attractive clubs than Rangers who would be able to pay a lot more in wages. In addition, how are rangers going to finance this deal 8 million, where’s that coming from ? I’m afraid its common knowledge that the days Mr Murray dipping into his back pocket are long gone and the rangers balance sheet is hardly in a position to support such a move.

Lets try to have some credibility to posted rumours.

I have one though which is circulating at the moment – Aiden McGeady to Sunderland (January) 4–5 million
To the person who says yohaan gourcuff to man united
y would man u sign another central midfielder when they r not even missing owen hargreaves this season.

ronaldo will leave summer for real madrid n will be replaced by sergio aguero
Giles barnes to birmingham in jan for 2million cuz derby need funds for jan
Kolo Toure leaving Arsenal, I hope not!! He is the last invincible and has been injured most of the season, so a trade with Man City for their "Golden boy" SWP is never going to happen, however if Stephen Ireland was the player being swapped, then I'd seriously consider it. Or Ireland and Richards for Senderos and Gallas. As a Gunner, I'm dreaming again.

Liverpool will struggle once injuries set in.
Chelsea will somehow pick up form and win the league.
Manchester United will have a strong serge, but fall short.
Arsenal, despite the crap season, will get into fourth.
Aston Villa will be stronger next season.

Trust In Wenger, until Wenger walks, when Usmanov or Kroenke takeover, Wenger's policy of unearthing gems, will not work, if a billionaire is demanding trophies, but more than just trophies, enhancing their bank balances.
Factually you are wrong with regards to Arsene Wenger snapping up all Newcastle's talent. 1. Given will not leave Newcastle as he has openly admitted on many occassion he will see out his career at Newcastle. 2. You can have Taylor he rarely plays and is a liability so in all honesty i doubt Wenger would be interested as he has passed his 'development period' and should now be close to the finished article which he isn't and 3. N'Zogbia's contract has another 3 and a half years left on it as he signed a 4 year contract at the beggining of the season.

Get facts right, poor rumours
Seems like some people just want a laugh!

Even though I support one of the clubs mentioned on this page I still know that most of the players you talk about won't be leaving. Stop messing around with FIFA 09 stats and start looking at what is really going on.

Man U: Tevez has barely had a game but when he has played he has been outstanding for Sir Alex. It just seems like they have too much talent to pack into one squad, his only problem would be getting a game if he signed a deal.
Arsenal: Experience will be signed. If Arsene says he is spending big then count on it. It's not like he is just gonna say it for the hell of a laugh. We all know he isn't a very funny guy.
Chelsea: Clearly Phil needs some more of his own style players in. But where? Expect one of the two sulking–strikers to be gone come the transfer deadline. Not only that, but a Latino striker to be signed to replace them. Chelsea will need players who can push now and Phil has never been in this position before. Does he know how to dig himself out of a hole?
Liverpool: All the noises coming out of Anfield are that the squad is strong and Torres is on his way back. Why sign Heskey? So he can talk to Robbie Keane on the bench? Gerrard is happy, Carra is. .well Carra, Torres is terrific and Alonso is awesome. Who could Liverpool sign that would push any of the current squad out of their position. Most important, Rafa has what he wants; two players for every position. Even left–back and right–back. Why buy players that may disrupt the chemistry of the team? Just not worth it!
Villa: Keep climbing!
To the guy who sed n'zogbia's contract runs out at the end of the season, are you for real!
He stil has 4 years left on his contract so get ya facts right before makin a fool of yourself.
Anyway Newcastle will try n sign Michael Kightly for £5m.
Just a thought; Paul Jewell to Nottingham Forest maybe?
