Milner won't go to MCFC now. It seems that there is now some reality check settling in at Eastlands, whereby £28M is being viewed more and more as too much of an outlay. Watch that deal peter out over the next two weeks.
Don't think you've any chance of Robinho staying there, he's too enamoured of the (or more correctly "his") game in Brazil and will never settle in the UK. Not sure where you get "75%" from? Is that "DEFINATLY" made up?

It is rumoured Abramovich, will let Manchester City spend and not compete in any bidding war for targets. Instead quiet negotiations have taken place with Bayern Munich with a possible 20 million bid for Sebastian Schweinsteiger and another 15 million with Werder Bremen for highly regarded Mesut Ozil.
While I think the picking up Ozil for 15 million would be a good piece of business for Chelsea, 20 million for Sebastian Schweinsteiger is ridiculous. I have never even heard of him. Bastian Schweinsteiger is a class player on the other hand. Sorry had to have my laugh. But seriously i think if Ancelotti wants either of these Germans they will not come cheap. There world cup performances, Ozil in particular, will lead to a massize increase in asking price. I think the transfer fee for either would be around 30 m.

To True blueyour posting is way off the mark. The only possible ins that have any credibility are Suarez and Benayoun. Dzagoev was recommended by Hiddink but the club felt he wouldn't suit our league whilst Ashley Cole will definitely not be allowed to leave. Carvalho may be off but Jeffrey Bruma will be promoted to first team squad as he is top class and will be a key player over the coming years so a loan deal is unlikely. To suggest we could rake in £10m from Hilario and Ferreira is laughable, will be nearer £2m if we are lucky. Anelka has just signed a contract extension so he won't be off to Man City let alone command £15m transfer fee. As for the loans it is Ryan(not Rhys) Bertrand and Jacob(not Jacop) Sala. We certainly don't need strengthening at the back or with holding midfielders as you suggest but expect an attacking midfielder or attacking wide man who could play to the right of Drogba in a front three and possibly a striker.

What I've heard is that they didn't make payroll again and still owe Sunderland £1.5 mil on the Chopra transfer, which is due shortly. And the Malaysian investment was "only" £6 million, so that figure might have been enough to stave off administration but not completely eliminate the threat of it. This could mean that Chopra could be sold, most likely to Ipswich.

At least 6M to pay off Rafa, 2.5M to compensate Fulham, 3M pa for a 2 year contract for Hodgson (not yet signed by the way).
Total at least 14.5M to replace a proven quality manager who had 1 bad season and a few good years left in him, with a journeyman who is nearly 63, is only contracyted for 2 years and hasn't actually achieved very much in major leagues (Fulham finished lower last season than the season before and on both occasions a long way behind Liverpool).
Something stinks. I am beginning to wonder if in fact 'theturdz' is right and Dumb & Dumber are about to start asset stripping the club and the first move was to replace an outspoken manager with a quiet one who won't make problems.

How logical is this? Fabiano is a cracking player but at 29 this could be his last contract with no sell on fee at the end of that contract. Anderson will not be fit till September and is still rated by SAF. One good season and he will be worth £25m+ on his own. Even at current values you are suggesting we pay a minimum of £35m for Fabiano when we have a lot of strikers already. I can't see it happening and Anderson will certainly not be part of any deal.
If SAF is set on one major signing it will not be a striker. The priority is still a left sided midfielder. SAF may have to buy again if Vidic is going though it looks as though Real are no longer interested.

I can confirm rumours that Joe Ledley will be a Stoke City player. The deal will be officially announced Friday at the latest, although a Thursday announcement isn't out of the question. These arent rumours but what id give my right arm to aquire for arsenal:
Joe hart number one by far. With a quality keeper our defence would instantly be a hell of a lot better with the defenceive line confident in their shot stopper.
Subotic had a great season, young and is much better than kosclieny, and worth any extra money.
Chielleni experienced which is what were gunner be lacking with billy gallas gone, could form a good partnership with vermalen (although looks like hes staying at juve)
Micah Richards id be up for this, can cover right back, center back and DM competion for song/diaby/eastmond for the holding role, and can't imagine being too overpriced.
Id snap up campbell ona two year if he wants one, hes one of the only players to have actually won something at arsenal and in the second half of last season showed he still has some to offer granted not every week and that we needed an experienced head, any replacement would be young, unheard of (kosclieny) and not what we need to become a winning team.
Eden Hazard great player who id like to see as fabregas replacement or play alongside. rate him higher than gourcuff and ozil (although after the WC i wouldn't mind seeing ozil in a arsenal shirt but its on the cards hes off to Bayern Munchen: so he can play with every other young good german player)

Serbia striker Milan Jovanovic has rejected rumours he could pull out of his proposed move to Liverpool.
Recent reports have suggested former Reds boss Rafa Benitez was trying to hijack Jovanovic's move to Anfield by bringing him to Inter Milan.
Jovanovic agreed a precontract with Liverpool in February, when Benitez was still in charge at Anfield, and he insists the Spaniard's departure from the club will no have bearing on his switch to Merseyside.
The 29yearold insists he will link up with his new teammates next month once he receives his work permit.
"I am going to Liverpool. I have signed there for three years. I repeat: no preagreement a real contract, " Jovanovic told Nieuwsblad.
"And the departure of Benνtez changes nothing. I have maintained contact with the executive board of Liverpool and everything is good.
"I am working to arrange my visa for England. Next week I go there to collect my work permit.

Roy Hodgson to be unveiled as the new Liverpool manager at 1.30pm tomorrow afternoon. He will sign a 2 year contract and on an annual salary of £3million per year. His assistant, who is also Fulham's goalkeeping coach Mike Kelly will also join him with Sammy Lee being removed as assistant manager to First Team Coach.
Expect a majority of the current Liverpool backroom staff to leave and link up with Rafa Benitez. The only coach that the Liverpool board want to keep is Xavi Valero (goalkeeping coach) due to his close relationship with Pepe Reina and how much his tutoring has turned Reina into one of the worlds best goalkeepers. If he leaves, Mike Kelly will also act as goalkeeping coach.
Roy Hodgson will hold a meeting with all players at Melwood as soon as possible. He will address all players of the club's expectations for the season ahead, their ambitions for the years ahead and introduce them to new members of the coaching staff. He will sit down with Kenny Dalglish and speak individually with Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres and Javier Mascherano to express his desires and ambitions with Liverpool in a bid to keep them at the club.
Now that Liverpool will have a manager in place, expect the transfers to happen. Milan Jovanovic will hold loyalty to his precontract and sign a 3 year deal from July 1st on a free transfer. The free signings of Joe Cole and Thierry Henry will be looked at but don't expect either to take place as Cole wants to join Tottenham and Henry looks likely to head to the States. There is only one sogning from Fulham that Hidgson would like to make and that is Brede Hangeland for £8million, paving the way for either Daniel Agger or Martin Skrtel to leave, expect it to be Skrtel if this happened. No one can specualte on who Liverpool want to sign as Hodgson is only about to take over but expect a few decent signings over the next few weeks.

Arsenal Arsene wenger has said in a press conference in france that players such as vela, wilshere, gibbs, walcott and ramsey (when back from injury) are available for loan moves to championship and league one teams. He also said that the reason he wants these players to play at such a low level is because he wants them to hae a profillic season so that they can take that form into next season as possible first team players. Yes, as he is 23 Cardiff will be due compensation if he leaves on a 'free'.

Apparently his contract expires on July 1st, technically he can sign a pre contract before that date with an english club, or any club for that matter. However if it is an English club it will go to a compensation trubunal, but, if a transfer fee is agreed between the 2 clubs before 1st July (and the deal concluded) then that avoids both clubs taking a gamble on both recieving a favourable outcome at a tribunal.

I have been writing on here for nearly 4 weeks about difficulties off the pitch at Ipswich (and received more than my share of abuse for it) I see that The Sn are now running with a row over money between Evans and Keane and The local daily has a story with Keane saying that he won't have any say if the club sells Connor Wickham.
Of course money is an issue, but it runs much deeper than that, the real issue is about a major conflict of personality which only Evans can sort out. Keepers: Fabianski has been pretty disapointing so he might leave for another club with Mark Schwarzer coming in for around 4 milion. Joe Hart is another option but that would result in Almunia leaving.
Defense: The departures of Gallas, Silvestre, and Campbell are almost certain. We will see Koscielny for sure come in any day. We might see M'Bia or Vertonghen come in to partner Vermaelen.
Midfield: Fabregas wants to leave so more than likely we will receive around 50 million for him. With this money there is a posibilty of getting Gourcoff with Chamakh persuading him to come. Felipe Melo also may come in to partner Song in the defensive midfield. Rosicky might also leave with lack of first team football.
Forwards: Arsene Wenger has told Eduardo he can leave since he will be the 5th choice striker. Vela also might leave for first team football. Some youngsters will come in to give some youth.

lets be sensible here Sir Alex as far as i can remember in nearly 24 years has never bought a player on the back of a good world cup preformance alone, he has players scouted normally for years to work out if they'll be suitible, you can't trust a good world cup preformance just think back to france 98 if you watched that then you'd have thought ElHadj Diouf was gonna be one of the worlds best players by 2000 but its 2010 now and were still waiting for him to even be just a good player let alone world class. So that shows how form is temporary and class is perminant. Also i highly doubt United will sign a right footed winger as we have 4 in the squad(Nani, Valencia, Park, Obertan), so even though Sanchez is class and we've scouted him for a long time i highly doubt we'll sign him as we have no need for him and his price would have sky rocketed after his performances. Also i cannot find anything to surgest that united have ever scouted Ozil so i unfortunatly doubt we'll sign him also(although i think he would be great at united). We won't be signing a striker as we normally only play with one up front and seeing as we have 7(Rooney, Berbatov, Owen, Hernandez, Macheda, Welbeck, Diouf) in the first team i don't think we need one no matter how much Fabiano would like to play for us, Just think if united signed everyone who wanted to play for us, we'ed have about 400 first team players.
we'll only sign one more player and that will be an attacking midfielder who we've scouted for a long time and who Sir Alex is sure will be a sucess as we can't really afford any more Berbatov's. The only other signing we may make would be a centre back IF Vidic leaves, and it won't be Chellini who was only after an improved contract and would cost too much anyway, IF we sign a new centre back it'll be for under 12M which is more than enough when you think we signed Vidic for 7m and Evra for 4M and turned them into two of the best defenders in the world.

No disrespect but you must be joking if you think Wenger will buy any of those KNOWN players, who really heard of Chamakh before the Professor made a 6m move for him last year? Who even heard of Koscielny until Arsenal made their move. He never buys known talents, its his stubborn way.
Balotelli will not leave Inter, they love him, it was only Mourinho who never got on with him. Besides he would cost a minimum of 20m. Marquez is way too old! Melo is valued at 18m although he has told many papers that he is staying put. Kjaer is valued at around 13m and this is way out of Arsenal's league in terms of price! Ozil is hot stuff right now and with City, Chelsea, United, Barcelona and Bayern are all interested in his signature so i think Arsenal have little or zero hope in getting this player.
I do not think Arsenal will buy any offensive players, even when the little Spanish bench warmer is sold. I still expect a decent Arsenal to line up next season but my guess is it will be a better defensive Arsenal!
