The rumours about Uraguay defender Martin Careres moving to Arsenal or any other club are absurd as Martin wants 2 stay in Spain and has said so in the press which has come on the Internet. Expect Arsene Wenger 2 move 4 a defender maybe Steven Taylor that is why Taylor as of yet hasen't signed a new contract with NUfc he's waiting 4 Jan 2 wait and see if Arsenal or LFC make a move 4 him, and also he would be much cheaper then Micah.
Reading FC:
Harry Kewell will be making a move to the Madejski. Coppell needs someone who can create things in the midfield and Kewell who is out of favour at Liverpool fits the bill. He will most likely play him in a central role replacing the crappy James Harper. This will be a 5 Million pound move.
Also Coppell is looking to get Andy Van Der Myde from Everton for 1.5 Mil, a good player who never seems to get a game. This will sort of the Oster/Little problem, Andy is better than Oster and can give some competition to Little on the right.
These are almost certain, wait for the announcement in January.

I cannot confirm the last one, I am only in the know about Liverpool, and Danny Murphy who has many friends at the club.

Chelsea and Man United are not going to go for Anelka. Man United will splash out on Berbatov, allowing Ramos to bring in his own strike force possibly Fabiano and Chelsea will push for Vagner Love leaving City and Newcastle to fight over Anelka. Newcastle are set push Viduka to his usual bit part role, very familiar right now because of fitness and would like Anelka to play on the left of attack with Martins on the right and ANOTHER in the middle.
