West ham will sell James Collins to Aston Villa on deadline today for a fee of £5 million, this combined with £3 million from the sale of Savio, will be used to sign Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh for £7 million and a 25% sell on fee. If this deal falls through West Ham have a contingency plan to sign Serbian, Zigic. The £1 million left over will be used to buy Phil Bardsley but sunderland demand £2 million for the full back so West Ham will offer Nigel Quashie in the deal.

Last day dealings at Glasgow Rangers.

Ok LFC fans tomorrow is a key day in our history, if there are no new transfers it means the americans have blocked them and Rafa has been lied to when he signed his new contract.
Rafa actually walked out a couple of days ago but was persuaded by Purslow, Dalglish and Sammy to stay.
Rafa will resign and a yes man will be appointed when this happens the club will be put into administration to stop any players (Torres, Masch, Stevie etc) to leave in January.
The new manager may be from within the club (Dalglish?) but most likely a manager capable of getting European football but one who won't rock the boat.
Heard an interesting rumour that carrick will be leaving to a london club, and that united will be getting Sully Muntari and Rafael Van Der Vaart in to add steel and flair to a united side that was found wanting by arsenal.

Hearts FC
Csaba Laszlo will be appointed Newcastle manager. A compensation package has been agreed with Hearts and Laszlo will arrive in Newcastle for talks. Representatives of Laszlo have been in discussions with Newcastle for some time and they expect a deal to go through next week.
Alan Kernaghan meanwhile will be appointed Hearts first team coach with Avram Grant to be named director of football.
Grant will be in control of the signing of players and contracts.He will also offer advice to Kernaghan. Romanov wants somebody he can trust after feeling badly let down by Laszlo.
Kernaghan has been assured that he will be in charge of training,tactics and the picking of players and will have this written into his contract before signing the deal.

The bid that Roy Keane said he rejected was for Colin Healy. Ipswich bought Healy from Cork for £50k pipping Hartlepool to the post. Healy is already out of favour at Ipswich and Hartlepool matched the price Ipswich bought him for. But Ipswich want about £600k which is out of Hartlepool's price range.
Rafael van der Vaart seen checking into a central Liverpool hotel this evening.
Liverpool to announce signing on Tuesday subject to successful medical and agreement of personal terms on Monday.

Liverpool are hijacking Everton's move for Ever Banega. Benitez has offered circa 8 million for the Argentine. Valencia are broke, and likely to go for the deal, even though Everton were willing to pay an extra 3 million after their loan proposal was successfully completed.

Dundee Utd are to enter administration this week with debts of around £7 million. Tayside Police fraud officers are investigating a missing £750,000 from their books.
The administration will see an automatic 10 point penalty, this may trigger other clubs in the SPL following suit as Scottish football reels from the Setanta TV deal.
